There was a brief period where Celena would publish her poems and short stories under an alias due to her shyness. People quickly recognized her writing though and her author career shortly ended

As a child, Eclipsa was very close with her mom. But as she grew older and began sympathizing more with the monsters and her mom leaving for battle more often, they began drifting apart. The last time they ever saw each other before Solaria’s assassination, they had an explosive argument

Later when she had Meteora, she aimed to be a more supportive and involved mother to her own child (before they were separated by the MHC)

People easily believed Festivia as being Eclipsa’s daughter due to her resemblance to Jushtin. There were even rumors of her secretly being his granddaughter instead of Eclipsa’s child. The irony………..

Celena’s crippling shyness stems from her being half-demon, since Mewmens are super prejudiced. She would hide behind her wand and cloak to cover her sharp teeth and pointy ears

Estrella has an entire art gallery room deep in the castle. Growing up, she enjoyed sketching out her mom’s stories

The grandma room is so long that people would easily get lost in there and is rumored to be haunted by the queens’ ghosts

There is also a grandpa room dedicated to every queen’s husband

Soupina, one of the queens before Skywynne, was seen as useless due to her obsessing over soup more than being a ruler. That was until a famine hit and Soupina created a magic soup recipe that would leave you feeling full for weeks, saving Mewnie

The reason why none of the ghosts of Mewnie’s past queens before Skywynne showed up was cuz their tapestries were destroyed in the castle fire during her coronation. The tapestries act as a bridge between the afterlife and living world

Meteora wasn’t the first/only Mewmen monster hybrid, as there were many others but were outcasted by both sides. There are a few remote villages of hybrids whose existence is kept a secret

Didn't see anything like this in Grabbity Balls though, did see a stereotypical man-ish little girl with a big, deep man-ish voice be implied to have "something wrong with her" by an adult authority figure character who's voiced by the same straight, white, openly anti-black Canadian man that you all have been heralding as the ultimate alley for your fictional LGBTQ+ Cartoon Characters' rights, for some reason.

So funny how Daron Nefcy literally said Disabled Rights, Trans Rights, and Leather/Kinkster Rights while Alex Hirsch only said Eugenics, "Trans Rights" (if you can pass to him, if he can pronounce your name, and you don't say "bae" ) and of course, let's not forget Cops at Pride, despite how little they could apparently both get away with... :)

... But of course, the last and most important Queer Reading to me in Star vs. :

The whole idea of being forced to be with someone you don't love to the point where you have to take a Secret Lover and elope with them and preserve your own sanity because you're a"Bad Girl" who likes a lot of dirty, kinky things to the point where your own voice actress is herself an open kinkster who likes dirty kinky things and that shows through her fun performance, as well as the canonical writings of this kinky character.

And we're not even getting into all of the WAM and Food Fetish stuff in Star vs. The Forces of Evil but it's there, and it's 'glorious'

And after the show is over ,like the actual Queen of Darkness you are, you gotta go sue your old washed up has-been rock star ex boyfriend for misusing the forces of what he says is kink to abuse you ... Because kink is great actually and he's just evil.

So fucking sick of people shitting all over the wonderful representation that Star vs. was able to even achieve in favor of praising Alex Hirsch, every time... When in reality, Star vs. The Forces of Evil has overall better representation and overt, and, as some have even said, both in out the show, literally abject Queerness in it than Hirsch will ever have in whichever eye y'all tried to put the eye-patch on your sexy twink Bill Ciphers only to have Hirsch shit on all that and immediately "fix it" by redesigning it as some disfigured ablest caricature before literally switching over to yet another anti-black one.

Dana broke up with Hirsch for a reason: He's a jerk!

If you think that Daron didn't do a "queer enough" narrative with Star vs. despite it being so by it's nature since day one, despite that being already being promised by it's very nature in it's influence being Sailor Moon and Scott Pilgrim, and if you read the Book of Spells even and still say shit like: "I don't see how Star vs. is QUEER????"

Then like, I'm sorry you can't look a little deeper to find that queerness already everywhere in the narrative all around you and if you actually think that Alex Hirsch ever did Representation TM better than Daron Nefcy, all I can say is that I'm sorry you're like a misogynist with shit taste in men and I'm so glad Dana Terrace is free from her shitty boyfriends shadow now at least.

Billy has a deep seated hatred for the Indiana Jones movies, there is no force on earth that can get him to watch any of the movies the whole way through

Normal magic rules don’t really apply to them in practice, they break and bend the rules a lot without realizing it. It’s one of the many perks of being champions and guardians of eternity, magic just goes with them and what they want to do

Have used spells from fantasy media’s to see if they work in real life; They do work but only for them, so each member of the Shazamily has a trump card in the form of random spells from random kids tv shows but they all use wands when they remember to just incase a spell backfires

Darla copied Star vs the forces of evil’s spells, no Fawcett villain likes admitting that they got beat by a Narwal Blast or a Warnicorn Stampede. Uses her wide array of princess and fairy wands she already has

Eugene, as seen in the first Shazam! movie, copy’s mortal combat moves and phrases. Doesn’t use a wand or a stand in for one much but uses a classic magicians wand from a magic kit he got

Billy binge watched every episode of Ben 10 and made a spread sheet of magical attacks shown in the show with Freddy to copy. Both use “Scribo in incendia” to multitask with homework and “Somus” to fall right asleep after patrol. Freddy uses his foam Wonder Woman sword and Billy just has a stick he picked up one day when he was 9 and hasn’t let go of since

Mary has copied some phrases from Sabrina the Teenage witch with varying levels of success, in part due to her not having full confidence in every attempt she makes. Bought one of those fancy wands with a gemstone at the end of them to cast spells

Pedro took a page out of Harry Potter and started using Latin to come up with his own spells. Uses whatever he has on hand as a wand, be it a pencil or the spork he was eating his lunch with

Billy has an older portable movie player he got as a hand me down gift from a foster sibling and a CD booklet with some kids movies in it that he’s held onto, its how he passed his rare instances of downtime when he was still homeless. Liked borrowing movies from local libraries to watch on it, some of the discs he actually owns are Matilda, the Night at the Museum trilogy, the Iron Giant, Tangled, Atlantis: the Lost Empire, and a CD copy of the second season of The Worlds Greatest Animal Detective; Tawky Tawny.

Freddy spends the first few years of his hero career pretending to be able bodied, constantly using his flight as a mobility aid, but decides later on to utilize a Wizards staff formed in a way to double as a crutch for him.

Followed by pidgins relentlessly. If a pidgin can go there they follow the Marvels everywhere. They’re chill, don’t steal their food or land on them, but they follow them everywhere. They all collectively blame Hermes influence as a patron god of messengers since pidgins are messenger birds (and yes it is the fault of his divine influence on them)

Billy got permission from the Wizard and other greek goddesses to have separate blessings for his sisters (Agility of Selene, Strength of Hippolyta, Stamina of Artemis, Flight of Zephyrus, Invulnerability of Aurora, and the Wisdom of Minerva) for the sole reason of keeping the influence and voices of Billy’s patrons out of their heads and away from them. (Because there’s no way in any form of hell he’s cursing Mary or Darla with Zeus to be in their heads)

They can talk to animals with the omnilinguistics the Wisdom of Solomon gives them, if anyone on the mortal plane can understand the language so can they. This has led to people seeing Captain Marvel coo back and forth with pidgins like they’re having a conversation (they’re talking about favorite snacks) and the one time he interrogated a rat through small squeaks to know which way a group of smugglers went.

Billy is an awesome gift giver, every year when the justice league has their annual white elephant on Dec 20th people pray they get their names drawn by him. He got Wally a bunch of shoes that were enchanted to not wear down from his speeding (dress shoes, running shoes, slippers, flip flops, the works), did some dimension hopping and time traveling to get a box full of Kryptonian books for Clark (including a collection of folklore with English translations so he can read a bedtime story to Jon), and a crud ton of sweets from the Funlands for J’onzz (including a giant Choco’s cookie big enough to sleep on.)

Freddy’s YouTube channel has a lot of videos of the Shazamily testing their powers based on comments, it has 2.3 million followers and the ad revenue they all rake in goes to helping out with the expenses at home and buying a lot of games at a 50/50 split

They are literally the only group of child vigilantes that are home in time for curfew/bed consistently, they’re more daytime heroes. The only exception being Billy when he has to go off world or to another dimension for League/Champion business but he always tells the Vasquez’s about them so they can call him in sick from school

Billy worked out an agreement with Harley Quinn so that him and his siblings could have semi-regular therapy appointments (hero/villain work permitting), she works her degree every other Tuesday and in return she gets Superman style flights whenever she wants and access to magical plant stuff for Ivy. Victor and Rosa worried about their kids mental health with all the responsibility and horrors of hero life but had no idea how to start getting them professional support for it so they’re glad Billy was able to find someone already in that life who could help and isn’t likely to endanger their identities.

I reread Eclipsa’s chapter and, yeah, I have to agree with her that I don’t see why Solaria arranged a marriage between Eclipsa and Shastacan? It really doesn’t seem like the Spiderbites have anything to offer the Butterfly family, and there’s not even the possible “advantage” of the idea that someone with Butterfly blood would rule both Kingdoms, since Shastacan was the second son and presumably wouldn’t have normally inherited anything. 

There’s not even the argument that Solaria just picked him because he was the only Mewman around Eclipsa’s age who was unspoken for and Eclipsa needed someone to produce an heir with. Because as is implied in Solaria’s chapter and flat out stated by Eclipsa in her own chapter, apparently, despite what you might assume with how Mewnian society seems to be inspired a lot by olden times, a Queen having a child out of wedlock isn’t a big deal. Meaning there really wasn’t any reason why Eclipsa couldn’t have just basically done something like gotten a donor (glorified or otherwise) and had a child that way, husband or no husband.

SVTFOE Headcanons Part 2 🦋🪄👑

While Celena was known for her shyness, her husband was way more outspoken and bold (think Rengoku from Demon Slayer). He was always protective of his wife and would passionately defend her from rumors or harsh comments about her demon heritage. He was the only person Celena would let down her cloak around, other than her mother. They were the textbook “opposites attract” couple

I like how Eclipsa resembles her grandma Skywynne. The shortness genes just skipped past Solaria lol

Eclipsa’s sun hat was passed down to her from her uncle Jushtin as a gift. The two were really close as she saw him as her cool silly uncle while he would ruffle her hair and tease her

I think if Eclipsa got to meet and know Festivia, she might have accepted her as an adopted daughter the same way she took to Star. But the fact that she was meant to be Meteora’s replacement might taint that a bit (plus Festi was still racist towards monsters)

Festivia was secretly insecure about her weaker magic compared to her predecessors. Her specialty leaned more towards entertainment magic than for attacking. Despite this, she used her magic to the best of her abilities to help her citizens by keeping them happy and distracted. She knew she wasn’t as wise as Skywynne, strong as Solaria, nor powerful as Eclipsa. But she knew a lot about lifting people’s spirits!

When her ghost discovered the truth of her identity and origin, she was SHATTERED. The other queens gathered around to comfort her as she wept. Despite her lack of royal blood, they still accepted her as one of them

The ghosts hate the MHC for all their lies and manipulations. They hope that as each new queen comes and goes, one would be able to break the cycle (insert heart-shaped cheek marks)

Star actually met Mina as a toddler when she saw her training outside the castle and wandered all the way down to see the “cool fighting lady”. Mina admired her interest in combat and would boast about her feats and history to the giggling 3 year old who had no clue what she was talking about. Neither of them remember this since Star was too young and Mina being crazy

Sadly it was common for many queens to have their lives cut short by numerous reasons due to their status (magic misshapes, monster attacks, stress of being queen, rival kingdoms, etc.)

When Estrella heard about her daughter’s assassination, she was so devastated that she couldn’t paint or draw anything for a very long time. She stayed by Moon’s side for a while to take care of her as they both grieved

The racial population and history of Mewnie is very diverse since many groups of humans from all over the world would accidentally end up in the Mewnie dimension. This led to Mewnie’s culture being influenced by all kinds of different earth cultures (at least whatever the humans retained post-memory wiped). The kingdom is mostly European influenced since Moe, the first queen, was from England

Racism doesn’t really exist between Mewmens due to their history of racial mixing and already hating monsters. To them, it seems silly to be fearful/hateful of your fellow kind when the monsters are the obvious threat

in which Adrien Moth is sent to earth to learn magic in peace after his mothers sudden death and so his father can focus on running the kingdom of their home dimension. He lives with Marinette and her parents at the bakery, where he quickly befriends the other teen and practices his magic with the help of his friend, his wand, and of course, the keeper of his family spell book, Plagg.

Songs that I feel give off the vibes of one of the Mewman queens. Part 1

(BTW: this series isn't based off of whether or not they would like the song. it's based off of what kind of vibes I feel like the queens give off from the song. Also, I will explain why that song gives off a certain queen of Mewni vibe. Well, most times. If I'm not really feeling it that day, then I'll just post the queen and song.)

My sources for this post are: The SVTFOE Spell Book ($20 on Amazon) and Genius (no money whatsoever, you just need some wifi). The show will not be a source for this post because everything in the show is also in the spellbook when it comes to her.

Queen: Festivia Butterfly

Song: The Red Means I Love You by Madds Buckley

Aight Imma try to do an analysis with this one. Just know that I'm super duper bad at explaining things. And, now that I know that it is about Toga from MHA, it's super hard for me to try and associate the song with anyone else. So if it's super disorganized, that's why.

So, The Red Means I Love You is about Himiko Toga from MHA and her quirk of drinking other people's blood to look and sound like them. But it can also be interpreted as many other things. Such as someone having a crush on another person, or a one sided relationship, or a forbidden love. But for today, I'm gonna use this song to analyze (as good as I can) Festivia's life + what she must have been thinking when she most likely found out in the afterlife that her whole life was a lie. Anyways, let's start with verse 1.

"Unusual. They say strange fascination, infatuation." could be her longing for her "parents" and wanting to meet them. It could also be her wanting to end the war (or more bluntly, push it into the background) between the Mewmans and Monsters.

"A lunatic" could be talking about The Host-Me Spell. Where basically, she uses magic to hide how she feels on the inside.

"And I've always heard it's what's inside that counts" could be referring to Festivia's naïveté and ignorance and just being a wholehearted and trusting person. But not realizing that not everyone has that good of intentions. And this could also be her living in denial about her life being a lie, trying to rationalize the MHC's actions.

"Cause my insides are red, and yours are too. And the red on my face is matching you" could describe how Festivia is Pie Folk, not nessecarily Mewman. And she is just like the Pie Folk (especially with her love for pie (sorry if I've said pie too much)) But if the MHC was able to trick the entire kingdom for years that she was Mewman, she in a way, is just like them. Just not from the same kingdom.

"You're down and you're pleading, my head is just reeling" can describe how Festivia may have felt if she ever found out that her life was a lie. She may have felt like she was going crazy and she was 100% living in denial or at least defiantly upset and angry. Mostly at the MHC for lying to her and using her because of her prejudice and as a tool for anti-monster conspiracy. But I bet she would also feel anger and resentment towards herself for believing them and being so naive to even believe them to begin with. Or maybe I'm just looking too deep into this, idk.

"The red means I love you" could be Festivia romanticizing the MHC in her head and just ignoring all the red flags in each and every one of them. Because the MHC is full of terrible people. And Festivia doesn't want to admit that they used her for their own benefit.

"Unfortunate. They say such a shame, I turned out this way" would be her finding out that she isn't apart of the Butterfly family. And that compared to other queens, it feels like she just did nothing (I personally feel like she didn't do nothing, but she really just did the bare minimum by not speaking for the people).

"Well, yeah, I get manic when I cause a panic" could mean that she probably had an extisential crisis when she found out the truth and tried telling herself that she is a Butterfly and that she is lying to herself. No, she probably never believed herself. Yes, she probably looked crazy to all the other queens.

"And of course I'm excited when I see you around" defiantly describes her enthusiastic personality. Or it could be her being sarcastic to everyone else because they all probably knew and they just didn't care enough to tell her. Or on the flip side, it could be how she forces a smile and pretends to be happy when really, she's miserable on the inside.

"You leave me high and dry" could be the MHC using Festivia as a tool for anti-monster conspiracy and was just a replacement for Eclipsa's daughter. But then not even thinking about her when she died.

"A rush comes to my mind" could go hand in hand with the first line and be Festivia's reaction to the MHC forgetting about her. And she was most likely flabbergasted with how the MHC treated her. She would've defiantly gone into a spiral about it.

"At the drops of blood you leave behind. Run as you might" is Festivia remembering her time with the MHC and metaphorically running from the truth.

"My love will never, ever stop" would mean that even though the MHC betrayed her, she still does love them even if it's so little now that she knows the truth.

Are you satisfied with how the show ended?

oh- YEY THIS IS THE FIRST QUESTION I RECEIVED ABOUT SVTFOE!🥳 hmm okay, actually, at first, when I watched it for the first time, I didn't care much about the finale. However, after I had a critical awareness, I realized that I seriously hated the finale. Here are a few ideas about the reasons and how, in my opinion, it could have been better if it ended; First of all, there are definitely a lot of questions and mysteries left in our minds, and this is really annoying, but when looked at from a different perspective, the fact that the mystery remains in our minds has enabled many people to have their own HC. The thing I hated the most about the finale, DUDE, WHERE DID THE IDEA OF DESTROYING MAGIC COME FROM??!! I mean, really, Star's recklessness made me hate it so much, I mean seriously, you can't just destroy thousands of years of Butterfly history just because you hate it, and on top of that, YOU ARE NOT EVEN BUTTERFLY BLOOD, SO ARE YOU TRYING TO MAKE A ROAD WHEN YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO ANYTHING?? Also, they didn't even care about the other characters who were played entirely for Starco at the end, that is, they cut them into short and stupid scenes after the magic disappeared. Another thing, why does Moon betray Eclipsa ONCE AGAIN, look, I was really starting to think that the producer hated Moon, so why did you turn Moon into someone people would hate when things were already warm between Moon and Eclipsa? I loved Moon and she wasn't that hateful but what she did in the finale made everyone hate her, and while watching those scenes, I said exactly this to myself, oh great, everyone hates her now, what a great episode. Yes, and now let me talk a little bit about what could have been better;

First of all, I think we definitely needed a 5th and 6th season. But if it had to end, I think it could have ended peacefully and in a way where everyone was happy. Yes, I think what I'm going to talk about now is exactly the same as my final HC. As mentioned in the final episode, a battle in which Eclipsa, Star and Moon combined their powers would be a much better option, but it is a little different, I think all three of them (even Meteora) could have cast a spell for the battle, that is, like the spells written in the spell book, the three of them could have created a very powerful spell together. After completing the words and designing the spell's operation, they went to the source of magic together, made Eclipsa and Meteora turn into Butterfly form, and after Star and Moon took their form, they went in front of Mina and did the dip down thing together. They would cast the strongest spell they could and destroy Mina, and the war would end. Afterwards, the kingdom would stay at Eclipsa and they would repair Butterfly Castle and move there again and bam, a great finale. Everyone would see the happy states of their ships and the cartoon would end with a perfect ending.

oh this was a bit of a long post, anyways in conclusion my dear friend I'm definitely not happy with the finale and even by just fixing a few mistakes they could have had a great finale, and I swear this episode is my most hated episode ever in svtfoe, thank you for reading:)💖💖
