Saw others make posts like this, so here are some of the major OCs at my all girl's fan school and the counterpart to NRC.

Things to Note:

I'm listing student characters from most important to least important to the main plot of my own fic series.

This post will reference my own worldbuilding where NRC and RSA are universities. So if you are wondering how the hell a girl can work at Mostro Lounge and why I'm spouting out random country names, that's why.

Everyone mentioned in this post is 18+.

I might make a part 2 of this if there are enough OCs from this school. Either way, I'll make another general OC post sometime, because there are a lot more than what you'd think.

Enchanted Rose is respected and prestigious all-girls university in the Land of Pyroxene. It honours King Adam and his princess consort Belle. The school is even in their former estate. Students come from all walks of life, and many go on to excel in their careers.

After she retired from the military, she got her doctorate and became vice-chancellor at Enchanted Rose. She's the headmistress' secretary. She's a very prim and proper woman, being rather uptight about her job and a stickler for the rules. Despite her being...a lot, Ava places a lot of trust in her.

She is a hardworking and resourceful young woman from Port of Jubilee. She originally wanted to attend a uni closer to home. One day her best friend, Carlotta, suggested they should both attend Enchanted Rose to be closer to Royal Sword and Night Raven to meet rich hot guys. At first, Alyssa dismissed the mere prospect, especially if it was such shallow reasoning behind it. But after her mom urged her to go, she decided to take Carlotta up on it, wanting to have a bit of an adventure and to bond more with her cousin, Sam, who she hadn't seen in years.

Alyssa now attends Enchanted Rose while working part time at the Mostro Lounge, visiting her cousin at his shop and swimming in her little spare time. She often works herself to the bone, taking on more than what she can chew. But she thinks it's all worth it in the end, so she can earn enough money to open up her own restaurant and help out others in her community.

One of her teammates for SDC, who takes Rook's spot and goes to Enchanted Rose. She's a bold, spirited and compassionate oddball, who will do anything for her close family and friends. She's also rather rambunctious, emotional, doesn't always think things through, has a thing for getting into trouble and has a hard time seeing other's perspectives. She is also close friends with Makoa, her adoptive brother, along with Jade, Floyd and Reille.

She is princess of Prydain, one of "rose leaves" next to Rose Queendom, and heir to the throne. She takes her duties seriously, wanting to learn how to become a good future queen, sharpen her magical skills and fiercely protective over those she loves. Her stubborn, brash and hardheaded nature sometimes gets in the way of this goal. She is also quite sporty, enjoying to do magift, archery and fencing in her spare time, which are things she bonds over with Maisie and Leona over.

She's a famous actress from the Wynderlands, who starred in plenty of queen bee roles, including some alongside Vil. Like the infamous Vil Schönheit, she has a reputation for being an icy bitch, but in reality she's loving, protective and fiercely loyal to those dear to her. However, she's also incredibly moody, secretive and insecure. Despite being Vil's ex, she is still on good terms with him and are still friends.

She's the crown princess of the Scalding Sands, and is forced to marry her cousin, Kalim, despite wanting to make that choice for herself. She is compassionate, outspoken, feisty and sharp-tongued, having a strong sense of adventure and longing for freedom. However, she's also rather sheltered and naive, reckless, stubborn, proud and has a hard time seeing other's perspectives.

Carlotta "Carly" Patin

A spoiled rich girl from Port of Jubilee and life long friend to Alyssa. She wanted her and Alyssa to attend Enchanted Rose in order to get rich hot boyfriends from RSA and NRC. After some convincing, Alyssa comes along for the ride. While can be ditzy, careless and selfish, she cares a lot about Alyssa and will do anything to help her out.

(As a side note, I wanted to make her a tanned-skinned blonde girl, but I couldn't find a model like that, so I went with that. Just imagine her as a blonde.)

Sana Al Siaf

Sana is Aziza's retainer and trusted friend. She's a descendant of the same cursed Genie who was set free by Sultana Yasamina and Sultan Jafar. Despite this, she's fairly down to earth, gives good advice and is able to help a friend in need. That doesn't stop her from rubbing people the wrong way sometimes due her mischievous and tricky nature and her tendency to get herself into trouble.

Noémie Boumount

Noémie is a noble cat beastwoman from the Land of Pyroxene. She lives with her mother, stepfather and two brothers. Noémie is very girly, often opting for pink and bows wherever possible, and a huge romantic. Her upper class upbringing made her know proper etiquette. She even wants to get into theatre and has plenty of piano training to boot. She likes to believe she is as regal as her mother, however, she more often than not acts in a way that is rather unladylike. She never starts anything, but she most certainly has no problems joining in the trouble once it begins. She also has a tendency to stick her nose into other people's business and is a huge gossip, especially if there's romance involved.

She's bold and fearless princess. She loves archery. Despite being brash, hot-headed and hating everything she deems as "girly", she is close friends with with Noémie and Aurelia along with Rook.

Bia (Bianca)—Charmander—♀—Sassy Nature The child of Dia’s Pokemon: Burn (Charizard) and Flia (Flygon) [Plus Eni (Ditto)]. She also has an older brother: Flurn (Flygon). Hardheaded and resilient, and not as young as she looks! Bia’s not currently interested in evolving but wants to eventually. For now, she enjoys taking care of eggs and Pokemon at a Violet City Daycare center along with a few of Dia’s other Pokemon. She helps them with sparring and training. Her dream is to one day be able to Mega Evolve like her dad. Special Notes: Pink flame, eyes, and ribbon. May have something to do with the Pinkan berries Eni (Ditto) had been eating when the egg came to be. Also, her mother, Flia (Flygon) named her.

Burn—Charizard—♂—Hardy Nature Received in a trade as a Charmeleon. When she welcomed Burn to the team, she was worried he would be fairly disobedient since he was from another trainer. However, this wasn’t the case at all! Burn quickly become fiercely loyal partner. He’s a quiet guy and tends to keep to himself, but you can tell he cares a lot for his teammates. Once he evolved into Charizard, Dia’s Flygon (Flia) became smitten. Burn was happy to reciprocate the feelings and they’ve been together ever since! They have two kids: Bia (Charmander) and Flurn (Flygon). Special Notes: Max size! Can Mega Evolve to Y ONLY (he accidentally swallowed the Mega Stone…).

Lightning—Raichu—♂—Adamant Nature Dia’s first Pokemon along with his sister Thunder (Pikachu). On Dia’s 10th birthday, she received two Pichu eggs from her sister. Later that day, both eggs hatched! Lightning is the more daring of the twins. Scrappy, stubborn, and energetic; he does well holding his own in battle. He excels in reading Dia’s cues without really needing direct commands. He and Dia are in perfect sync during battles. Lightning was never really interested in love but, during, their Alola travels, Dia adopted an Alolan Raichu (Vanilla) that eventually became his mate. The two Raichu were not interested in each other at all at first, but after becoming close friends the two realized they had deeper feelings than they thought. The pair have one child, Blitz (Pichu). Volce—Vulpix—♀—Quiet Nature Voice was caught by Dia on route 36 in Johto. She had been corrupted in early Shadow Pokemon projects and released into the wild. Never fully a shadow Pokemon, Dia was able to unlock her heart and return her to normal. Over the course of their Johto journey, Volce slowly lost her eyesight. Nurses determined it was likely a genetic defect due to inbreeding. Volce was never particularly interested in battling, but found a home and family with the team that she never thought she’d have. She’s happy to be around others, even if she’s not one to engage in conversation. Her favorite activity is taking long strolls with her mate Ko (Alolan Vulpix). Special Notes: Blind

Mikan—Dewgong—♀—Careful Nature Mikan was a Shadow Pokemon caught by Dia in the Orre Region. She’s very cautious and skittish. Dia wanted to return Mikan to her original owner, but Mikan was not interested in going back. She’s never told Dia why, but Dia has a feeling Mikan had a difficult past. Mikan is quick to flee from strangers and loud noises among other things. Her new home with Dia is slowly becoming a safe space where she be herself. Special Notes: Orange eyes

Eni (Enigma)—Shiny Ditto—‘♀’—Timid Nature Eni was a gift from Dia’s ex-boyfriend. Eni doesn’t remember anything before Dia let her out of her Pokeball, so Dia can only guess that she recently…hatched? Although Ditto are generally genderless, Eni identifies as female and chooses to use she/her pronouns. She’s very shy and has made few close friends among Dia’s Pokemon. The few include Burn (Charizard) and Flia (Flygon), who she helped get a Charmander egg, and her mate, Miji (Samurott). Eni and Miji randomly found an egg one day, but, they weren’t ready to be parents (nor were they interested in being parents) so they passed the egg onto Dia. Special Notes: Shiny! When she transforms, she becomes the shiny version of that Pokemon (just like in the first few generations). She also has a small red bow.

Navy (Navigator)—Vaporeon—♂—Serious Nature Found by Dia at the Castellia City docks as an Eevee. He had been raised by a ship captain who had recently passed away. He excels at reading the sea, sky, and maps. Navy had always wanted to be a Vaporeon and agreed to come with Dia if she could make that happen. He takes pride in his abilities and can be a bit of a snob about it. He’s able to read Unovan and common and enjoys reading books. Not much of a battler, he’s always wanted to set back out to see. However, he instead decided to settle down with a mate who understands his need for the pursuit of knowledge and perfection, Syntha (Leafeon). They have three children together: Nunally (Sylveon), and twins Damian (Jolteon) / Dominic (Espeon). Special Notes: Can read Unovan and common as well as compasses, maps, etc.

Damian—Jolteon—♂—Quiet Nature The child of Dia’s Pokemon: Navy (Vaporeon) and Syntha (Leafeon). An anxious Pokemon who just wants to fit in. His brother Dom (Espeon) likes to drag him out on adventures. For the most part, he just goes along with the whims of his brother. When he can get away, Damian spends time with his mom learning about botany and how to use plants for medicine. He one day hopes to work in a Pokemon Center. For now, he’s working on his confidence, standing up for himself, and keeping his brother out of trouble.

Escalus—Flareon—♂—Lonely Nature Dia adopted him as an Eevee from someone who could no longer care for him. Escalus has always been a very quiet Pokemon who isolated himself from others. It took him a long time to warm up to anyone, including Dia. He’s deeply afraid of abandonment and clings tightly to those he cares about. When Dia offered to help him evolve, he really wasn’t sure what he wanted to be. Then, when he and Dia encountered a thief making off with stolen loot, Dia only had him to rely on. When attacking the thief, the bag of stolen goods came apart and a fire stone helped Escalus evolve. Thanks to the power boost, they were able to get back all the stolen goods and he has felt more confident ever since. He’s trying to be his best self thanks to support from his mate, Dell (Umbreon). Special Notes: His vision isn’t great and his eyes are very sensitive so he wears prescription goggles.

Ev (Evermore)—Shiny Mew—Lonely Nature Dia found them on Faraway Island. Although they haven’t officially been caught, Ev has been shadowing Dia since their chance encounter. 100s of years ago, Ev had made friends with a young girl who lived on the island. One day, the girl stopped coming back. For a long time, Ev thought the girl had abandoned them and developed a resentment for humans. With Dia’s help, they discovered that this wasn’t the case at all. Something happened which caused all of the people living on the island to disappear. Now, the two are working together to find the truth. Special Notes: Shiny! Fur pattern is based on the original Mew arts.

F: Have they ever had a one night stand?

Ford claims he’s not about ‘love’ and all that other shit, but truthfully, he’s a bit of a romantic at heart. I can see him more as the wine-and-dine type than someone who just has random one-night stands and hookups. Some people might think he avoids both because he thinks he’s too good for them, but truthfully, he just is so busy with work and traveling that it’s hard to do the ‘one-night’ stand thing without getting fucking exhausted. To be honest, I can see Ford feeling more comfortable with a date or dating because he is so used to putting on a façade in a courtroom and his other ‘occupation’, that it’s just….not fun to pretend to be someone else just for a quick roll around in the sheets. And, to Ford, a one-night stand is trying to get someone to fall for you for a short-lived period of time but not IN LOVE with you. I don’t see my characters agreeing with this mindset, but it is Fords. I do see him thinking Amber is really fascinating though. And part of the reason why things don’t work for him with other people — serious or otherwise — is because he just is stuck on his feelings and fascination for her.

O: How much have they changed in the past five years?

Ford is ever-changing, yet ever the same. Both his jobs mean being seen or being invisible. So, I feel like he just doesn’t know who he is enough to have developed in the last few years. Buuuut since I’ve made him, I’d say he became more of a person and less of a cartoon anti-hero?

R: When’s the last time they had a birthday party? His last birthday; on his birthday. His adoptive family never ever wants him to feel unloved. Which is something he appreciates, considering his bio mother never celebrated with him. I think birthdays went from being something he’s hated to something he’s loved over the years.

D: What time does their day usual start?

It depends on what job he’s doing or if he’s working at all. Typically, I’d say around 5am though. He’s the bitch who says ‘the early bird catches the worm’ cause he’s irritating like that, haha.

R: How big of a push-over are they?

Ford’s not a pushover. He just doesn’t give a fuck enough to be a pushover unless it’s with Amber or his friends. I might do one for his verse with Ana, but I feel like the only people who can sway his opinions on anything are those two ladies and his family.

O: How stubborn are they?

Ford is irritatingly stubborn and hardheaded. He makes me and everyone around him angry due to that.

S: How do they tell someone they’re sorry?

He doesn’t? What even? If you make a choice, you meant it. But if it’s Amber or Ana or family, he does make it up to them when he’s said or done something stupid. Like he’ll bring them their favorite foods or make them playlists. That sort of thing.

C: If they had to pick one sport to play/watch which would it be?

Hide and seek, baby!

O: Do they sing along to the radio in the car?

Music is an incredibly important part of Ford’s life. He will sing if he’s alone, but if he’s not….no.

E: Are they the happiest they’ve ever been?

He’s happy because he loves his jobs but life is confusing - as always. So he wouldn’t know how to answer that question if it were asked.

Prompt: “We’d make a cute couple.” with Mammon!

Having Mammon by your side throughout the day was one of the main things you looked forward to whenever you woke up. While he may have his moments where he can be a little bit annoying, you could never fully be upset with him. There was never a moment where you two weren’t together: walking to RAD, walking to class, walking home, doing homework, pissing off Lucifer. It seemed like you two were inseparable, joined by the hip with how much you two were side by side. The only time you two weren’t together was when you went to bed, and even then you still had sleepovers/movie nights to make up for it.

You honestly wondered why you two weren’t dating yet.

You knew part of the reason (honestly the main reason) was Mammon. He’s so stubborn and determined to deny his feelings for you when it is so painfully obvious that he’s in love with you. Was it a pride thing? A demon thing? Maybe it’s just a him thing, either way you didn’t understand. Plus, it’s so obvious that you love him too! You wanted to slam your head into a wall every single time Mammon brought out his tsundere side. It was cute at first (and still was sometimes), but it was starting to get old very quick. When will he stop being so hardheaded and just admit to it already?!

Whenever it was you two, he let his soft side come out. Being the family’s punching bag, he let a lot of stuff slide, and he held a lot in. He’s able to lean on you whenever he’s struggling, never having to worry about keeping up facades and having to be strong all of the time. Everyone has moments of weakness, and you made sure that Mammon always knew that and never felt ashamed when he came to confide in you. He’s a sensitive demon, and you have no problems comforting and encouraging him when he’s down.

You two balanced each other out, and he’s always there for you just you are for him. The whispers of “I love you” that he thought you didn’t here among the gentle looks that he gave you that he thought was unseen, all taken in my you.

So no more beating around the bush! This is happening, and happening now.

He couldn’t avoid you forever (not that he would be avoiding you anyway), and he couldn’t avoid his feelings either (not that he tried to hide them well in the first place). It was the weekend, and after eating dinner with everyone, you were in your room for your scheduled movie night. Some action movie was playing on the screen, empty instant Hellfire noodle cups scattered while you two laid side by side on the bed. Mammon was deep into the movie, while your attention was elsewhere.

“Oi MC! Look at how that agent landed a double shot from behind his back while driving blindfolded!”

“Uh huh.”

“And the way that he’s blowing through these guys like nothing is crazy! Bet I can do that too! Wanna bet?”

“Uh huh.”

“And- MC? Ya not even listenin’, are ya?”

“Uh huh.”

“Sorry if I’m boring ya to sleep.”, he grumbled, looking away and pouting. But he still peeked back at you, gaze forming to show his worry. You were out of it, mind focusing on something that wasn’t you and him time, which never happened. So what happened? Did someone do something to make you mad? Did he do something and made you mad? He doesn’t recall anything happening...maybe you’re just getting homesick?

It was making him get uneasy and had his mind racing now. What is going-

“You know Mammon, we’d make a cute couple.”

Well that caused him to choke on his spit and shoot straight up, knocking the empty cups over and spilling the blankets off of your bodies.

“W-where is this coming from?!”

“I mean,” you turned to him, the movie illuminating your face in the dark. “Am I wrong?”

It’s so easy for Mammon to get lost in your eyes, just as it is for you. You believed that all of the brothers’ eyes reminded you of jewels, but Mammons’ eyes were always the most unique to you. They always found a way to draw you in, the mix of gold and cerulean never failing to captivate you. Not to mention how expressive they are, his emotions easily showing through them. Like now, you could see the hesitation and uncertainty swirling through them after your declaration.

You took a leap of faith, and you’re only hoping that he would do the same.

He sat with his mouth opening and closing a couple times, the tips of words never leaving his tongue. He started to fidget, eyes darting to look anywhere else that wasn’t you, his cheeks turning scarlet and spreading to his ears. You felt disappointment bubbling in your stomach. You should’ve know that he wouldn’t confess, that you just pushed him too far. You should’ve just kept quiet and never addressed-

“You really think so?”

He said it in such a small voice, that you barely heard him. And when he looked at you, he stared in so much awe, like he couldn’t believe what he just heard.

“I mean, yeah. Don’t you think so?”, you were trying to still be casual about it, but you feel yourself starting to sweat. The look that Mammon’s giving you is getting to your nerves, making your heart beat even faster than it already is. He’s already caught off guard, but it’s what he says next that does the same to you.

“I do,” he has tears welling in his eyes now with an infectious smile to match. “I really do. W-what took you so long to say something, you dumb human?”

“Me?! You’re the one who’s always acting so tough, you dumb demon!”, but you shoved him, laughing the whole time. “Geez, you stress me out for no reason-”

You didn’t even have time to pretend to be mad as he tackled you to the bed, his trademark laugh filling the air. It didn’t take that long for you to join him, you both just appreciating the moment. You both longed for this moment, just to be in each other’s arms, not a care in the world. Nothing else mattered right now; just this.

“MC, I really do care about you and”, he paused. “I- I don’t ever wanna let you go. I don’t know what I would do without you now, and I don’t ever wanna find out”, he tightened his grip around you as he spoke. “You’re the only one I wanna be greedy with.”

The satisfaction you felt when hearing this was indescribable. “I care about you too Mammon, and I wouldn’t mind that. Not at all.”

“G-Good! Because now that the Great Mammon is blessing you with this opportunity, ya better be grateful about it! It’s not easy to get with me, so count yourself lucky!”

Ah, here’s the old Mammon. Minus the denial.

“Okay, Mammoney.”, you chuckled, getting yourself comfortable. The warmth radiating from his body was making you sleepy, and you couldn’t fight it anymore. “I’m the luckiest person in the world.”

As you mumbled a “goodnight, love you” as you succumbed to sleep, you felt the forgotten covers being brought over you both. Mammon admired you as you snored lightly in his arms, and he couldn’t help but lightly kiss the top of your head. No amount of gambling could ever beat this high that he’s feeling, nothing could.

“I know I count myself the luckiest demon in the world right now.”

He’s already won something better than a prize, and that’s you loving him.

The Astrological Signs of "Avatar: The Last Airbender" characters

Part 1 - Team Avatar

♎ Aang - Libra

Libra is an air sign and Aang is an airbender. More than that, though, Libra (represented by the scales) is the sign of harmony and balance. As the Avatar, restoring and maintaining balance is Aang's primary duty. Aside from all that symbolism though, Aang's personality is a lot like a Libra.

Libra is the opposite compliment to Aries, a war sign. Libra don't really like discord (at least, they don't like to be IN the discord and chaos). They're lovers, not fighters, so they tend to be peacekeepers. This is Aang to a T. Aang is not only one of the youngest characters in the show (and therefore, the most likely to be uncomfortable with violence), but he is also a monk, raised by other peaceful monks.

He values peace and all life. Even his fighting styles are evasive and are more about using an opponent's strength against them, rather than attacking. It's something that is brought up in the Book 2 episode "Bitter Work", when Aang has trouble learning earthbending from Toph. Libras (depending on the rest of their chart, of course) often tend to respond to conflict in a similar manner, by being avoidant.

You see the pacifist in Aang anytime he needs to mediate a conflict. Examples include "The Great Divide" in Book 1, where Aang has to mediate between the two tribes (as well as Sokka and Katara). He does so by telling them that "Harsh words won't solve anything. Action will". Of course, when that doesn't work, he just lies and makes up the alternative story of WeiJin and JinWei. I don't think Aang is a big fan of lies, but it was for the sake of peace, a means to an end. Very Libra.

Another thing that makes Aang a Libra is the fact that 1) Libra is ruled by Venus and 2) Libra rules the 7th house, which is essentially relationships. Aang's relationships (platonic and romantic) mean EVERYTHING to him, and there's a reason why putting one of his loved ones in danger is initially the only way to activate the Avatar state. He's a very friendly, charming and loving kid (like most Libras) and he's the first one from team Avatar who believes they can make it through the secret tunnel, because of how strongly he believes in his love for Katara. The final point is Aang's reluctance (or sometimes downright refusal) to cause harm to others unless absolutely necessary. While others use violence, Aang is more likely to want to befriend his enemies, and that's actually a good thing. It's Libra's superpower.

♋ Katara - Cancer

Cancer is a water sign that is ruled by the moon, and Katara is a (very powerful) waterbender who draws her powers from the moon. In astrology, water signs are known for being on the emotional side. And with Cancer's ruling planet being the moon (the planet of emotions and also the celestial body that pushes and pulls the tides), Cancers are known to be so emotional, that they're often just archetyped by it. Katara is similarly emotional (see the Book 3 episode "Ember Island Players"). However, Katara being so in touch with her emotions also makes her extremely emotionally intelligent. Like Cancers and most other water signs, her heightened sensitivity allows her to almost psychically sense how others are feeling, and to know how exactly to respond to and comfort them. There's a reason why Katara has such great chemistry (when it comes to her one-on-one conversations) with so many people (Aang, Haru, Jet, Zuko, Toph). Her emotional intelligence also makes her very mature for her age and allow her to see things clearer than others, or to foresee things that others don't.

Cancers are often either family oriented, or they love and value their home (this can either be their childhood home, current home, or the city, country or culture that they came from). This applies with Katara. As a waterbender, being from the water tribes is a big part of who she is, and she has a deep love for her culture. We see how being the only waterbender in the South Pole and having no one to show her the ways of waterbending saddens her, and how happy she is to hear that Hama is willing to teach her (the only other waterbender from the Southern water tribes that Katara has ever met).

With regards to Katara being mature for her age, she's also very motherly. The Book 3 episode "The Runaway" (as well as most of her interactions with Toph) demonstrates this. The moon (which rules Cancer) is The Mother in astrology, and so most Cancers have a significant relationship with motherhood. Katara was very close to her late mother and her death still affects her.

Following the death of her mother, Katara has basically had to become everyone else's mother and hold things together. You see this as well (in a more positive light) in the Book 2 episode "The Desert". In this episode, Appa is missing, Aang is too upset to think or act clearly, Toph can't see properly because of the sand and Sokka is high off cactus juice. Katara is the one that is keeping everything together in this episode.

On the downside, Katara's mothering can turn to nagging sometimes, but I don't blame her. She's a child that's had to grow up way too fast. She has a lot of pressure on her. With water, that pressure can build up, until it bursts like a dam wall (which it's likely to do). It's the combination of this, as well as Katara's strong and fearless sense of right and wrong that lead to those cataclysmic outbursts that both Katara and water signs are sometimes known for.

♋♐Sokka - Cancer sun, but with a lot of Sagittarius aspects in the birth chart

Okay, let's start with the Sagittarius side of things. There are a lot of elements of the Sag personality in Sokka. For one thing, luck. Not only does he manage to survive (and thrive) in the entire series WITHOUT any bending powers, but that boomerang ALWAYS comes back! That's some Jupiter-luck energy if I've ever seen it.

Sokka was originally going to be a more serious character, but the voice actor decided to improvise and add some of his own humor to the role, which created the Sokka that we know and love now. I mention this because the voice actor (Jack De Sena) is a Sagittarius. Sokka has the kind of personality that provides humor in difficult times and can lighten up the sometimes very heavy atmosphere in the group. He doesn't just make people laugh, he likes to laugh as well (at his own jokes and even at his enemy's jokes). In the book 3 episode "The Ember Island Players", heeven goes to the effort of getting Suki to sneak him backstage, so he could give the actor playing himself some tips and extra jokes (and low and behold, the crowd actually laughs at them). In his words, he's "just a guy who loves comedy". In fact, I think he's one of the only ones there who just decides to kick his feet up and enjoy the show (by basically turning the situation into a date night for him and Suki). Sagittarians love to laugh and make people laugh. They're optimists who like to have a good time, and are likely to be the make-lemonade-out-of-lemons type.

He's also one of the smartest and most competent characters on the show. He has excellent problem solving skills, and isn't afraid to look at things through a different angle and try new things to expand his worldview and knowledge. This is relevant, as Sag rules the 9th house which includes, amoung other things, higher learning, truth and knowledge. He can be a bit tactless and insensitive...a little slick at the mouth, but it's largely ignored by others, as he is likeable and funny enough for others to let it go. That's quite a Sag trait.

The Cancerian part of Sokka's personality is less pronounced, but it's there. He's VERY protective of his loved ones, even before the situation with Princess Yue. He is family oriented in that he admires his dad and the traditions and customs of the water tribes. He loves and is just as proud of his culture and home life as Katara is, but just in a different way. He also always looks out for the other members of team Avatar. He can tell when a member of the team needs support and immediately jumps to action (for example, the way he immediately grabs Toph's hand to guide her in "The Serpent's Pass", in "The Desert" and on the air ships during the final battle in the series finale). He's also very loving and protective of his sister, despite how often they fight. Also, quiet as it's kept, Cancers are one of the funniest signs in the zodiac.

♉♈Toph - Taurus sun, but with a lot of Aries aspects in the birth chart

Let's start with the Taurus aspects. Taurus is not just an earth sign, it's FIXED earth. It embodies the firm stance and hardheadness of not just Toph, but earthbenders in general. Tauruses are very stubborn and like to do things their own way at their own pace. Combine that with the independence and confrontational nature of an Aries, and you've got Toph.

Aries value their independence, sometimes to the point of being selfish, which is what we get with Toph in the Book 2 episode "The Chase". In this episode, it's Toph's first time riding with the group, but it's also her first taste of freedom. Like an Aries, she hates the idea of seeming weak or helpless, and has to learn that freedom doesn't mean that she has to do everything alone.

As Toph shows us, there is, however, power and strength in valuing independence, so long as you're not insecure about independence or projecting. Toph is a wealthy, sheltered child who is blind, which, in most cases, would make her vulnerable. But it's not the case. Toph ran away once before when she was little, and that's where she learned earthbending from the giant blind moles. She learned earthbending not just as a martial art, but as an extension of herself and her senses, and as a way to see. She would have never been able to master doing that (nor would shehave gone on to do even greater things like train the avatar and discover metal bending), if she didn't have the will, bravery and self assurance to run away in the first place. That little pilgrimage (her life changing adventure, if you will...but still not with Zuko, I'm afraid😔) showed the value of independence. Of going out on your own journey of self-discovery. Much like how Zuko needed to be be alone for a while during Book 2 for his own journey of self-discovery.

Oh, speaking of "Zuko Alone"...

♈Zuko - Aries

Zuko's arc in the show shows us the transition from a dark-sided, low vibrational Aries, to a high-vibrational Aries at it's best: passionate, brave, protective, strong, innovative, a good leader, driven, energetic and independent. Zuko embodies many Aries (and general fire sign) traits, both good and bad. He can be impulsive, and doesn't always think things all the way through. Aries is cardinal fire, so it's about getting up and going, just DOING something. Zuko is known for never giving up. These are things that that Iroh, Sokka and Ursa have mentioned. Zuko is an impatient person and is very fiery, hot headed and reactionary even for a firebender.

His reactionary nature makes him prone to a bit of melodrama (and I imagine that's why it's so fun for Azula or even Iroh to get a rise out of him). This is definitely the case with Aries. They're not the only sign with a temper, but they are the most likey to cause a scene and storm off in a huff about it. Or challenge you to a fight. Zuko can't refuse a fight for the life of him. At least not until he evolves and figures out his ✨true destiny✨.

One the other hand, he also keeps that same fiery energy when it comes to defending those who can't defend themselves and fighting for what he believes is right. In these cases, he refuses to back down. Even if his chances of winning are low, he'll still keep pushing forward. That's the will, energy and drive of cardinal fire. Zuko just needs to chanel all that power into something useful and constructive, like creating change for the greater good, and not distraction. Like with fire in general, Aries (and Zuko) is useful and powerful, but requires direction, guidance and purpose, so as to not risk letting the fire run wild to cause destruction and devastation.

Two different coins that is. Trying and trying but it just doesn’t succeed. Will there be a next time? Patience and plans. Female reader (though i rarely use she/her and more of you/they). You love red. 

The way the color makes you feel powerful and confident. The way the color suits you so well it brings out your best features. It was rare for you to not have something red on you. If you didn’t, you felt weird. 

For many, you’re stubborn. You see things through with a game plan. You always had a plan when something comes up. People have started to respect you for that, some even intimidated by how you’re able to come up with answer to anything. Even if you don’t get the acceptance from your parents for the choices you’ve made in your life, you put on a strong face and push through. You’re a strong one, even at the face of near impossible adversity, you manage to pull through, just as long as you had a plan. You had too much to risk for you to not move without a plan. 

So how did you come across a man who would make you question everything?

Wooyoung’s hardheaded. People are intimidated of him more than they respected him. Was he bothered by how people talk about him? Not at all. Even if his parents wonder where they went wrong with him, he continues to live. He doesn’t mind it, in fact he likes it. It’s more reason for him to prove them wrong. Despite all the assumptions about him, he lives freely. He lives with no regrets. Even if he wasn’t someone who always had a game plan, things just seem to fall into place for him. He’s lucky like that.

So how did he come across her who would make him think carefully? 

Neither of you could answer the question of how did one fall for the other. Neither of you could answer either how both of you met. Somehow, it just happened. It starts with a hi and hello. It always does. 

The greetings become small talk. He starts to notice your small habits, nervous twiddling of your fingers, the shy brushing through your hair. You notice his habits too, the way his nose crinkles in amusement, the way his eyes look so easy to understand. It’s here when the awkwardness slowly dissipates to make room for warmth. 

The small talk become idle chatting. You discover his interest in performing, his desire to sing on stage. He discovers your interest in creating things, your desire to tell stories. It’s here when he starts to look forward to talking to you, to hearing your voice. It’s here when you start to find a little bit of happiness in your everyday life. 

The idle chatting become late night talks. He realizes your need to be accepted, your fear of rejection. You realize his need to find a place in this world, his fear of a never ending tunnel. It’s here when you see him beyond his loud mannerisms and fast paced life. It’s here when he sees the you behind your red lipsticks and red heels. 

The late night talks eventually become confessions. Both feeling their hearts flutter from the exchanged words. 

“Wait what?! When?” He exclaims, tackling you into his arms. 

“News flash, asshole! I’ve been in love with you the entire time.” You giggle against his shoulder. 

In retaliation, he tickles your sides, His heart soaring high at your words and at your soft giggles as you try to inch away from him. “Good, cause God you got me wrapped around your finger.” He mumbles against your skin, too elated to do anything but to hug you tighter to his frame. Hugging you so close it was as if he was scared to lose you. 

Through the happiness of the confessions there was still a catch. He understood how your parents have made you someone so cautious, so careful as you move through life. You told him to wait. To wait until you had a game plan because you feared your parents. As he waits, he still courts you, wants you to be sure that he’s the one for you. He makes you feel secure, more secure than you ever thought with yourself. You make him patient, and he starts to see how much he missed from moving at full speed through life. He hopes you accept him in the end. 

Months pass by and both of you start to notice the small improvements in yourselves. You were taking small risks one by one, occasionally taking the chance to go against your game plan. More often than not, the detour leads to better results. You could understand why he lives his life the way he does. Your friends notice how you aren’t as uptight anymore, letting them have their way. They notice how you let yourself just be and for once they hope you got yourself a guy who has balanced you well. 

He starts to slow down, thinking his options more thoroughly. It’s only after he stops that the results are better. He starts to understand why you’re careful. Eventually, to your circle of friends, they see just how happy he makes you be. They think he might be the one to release you from your cage. His circle of friends see how he’s become a lot more understanding. They think you might be the one who can reign him in. 

“When will you tell them?” 

That question always makes your heart sink. You always tell him when the time is right. It’s hard. How can you tell your parents of your interest in him when everything you do is met with pointed gazes and disappointed sighs? He understands and drops the topic, going back to asking for more cuddles while you busied yourself with a proposal for your work. 

Things quieted down for a while. 

You should’ve known it was the calm before the storm. 

You didn’t mean to. His phone was turned up, and his messages light his phone up. 

‘It’s been awhile, how have you been? I miss you.’ 

You know that name. One of his exes, if you remember correctly from his stories of failed relationships. It makes your heart sink as your eyes lay unmoving on the phone, not even when it dims down from the lack of attention. It’s only when you hear him get back that you busy yourself with your phone. Doubt clouds your mind. You hate how lost you feel now. 

That’s the thing with looking at life with glasses the shades of red; the red flags look like roses in a field. 

Even when you had his undivided attention, you start to wonder if his heart was with someone else this entire time. It’s in your alone time that your uncertainties wrack your brain, you want to shut them out but you can’t. You feel powerless to all the doubts and questions in your head, fueled only by the want to be someone your parents can be proud of. You’re frozen in place, unable to break yourself out of your head, not even when Wooyoung’s message lights up your phone. You manage to open it but you can’t get yourself to reply. By the time your head clears, you’ve fallen asleep. 

“Why didn’t you reply?” He whines softly. 

“I’m sorry, I got too caught up with my work.” You still felt scared to let him know of how bad your thoughts destroy you when you’re alone. You didn’t want to scare him away with your baggage that you try so hard to fix as you try to better yourself. For once, you try to better yourself not only for yourself but also for him. 

“You know I don’t like being left on read.” He reminds you with a frown. He’s made it clear early on how being left on read was a pet peeve. You didn’t want to see him angry. If you had to see him angry, you would have to find a way to calm him down. How do you calm someone down who you rarely see get angry? You were too tired to shoot something in return so you just nod and hum, leaning your head against the cool wall as you wait for your food to arrive. 

Time is running out. He asks again when will you tell your parents. He’s growing impatient again. He tries to understand. You can’t blame him. Both of you try to keep the topic of your family dynamics out of your conversations. So you tell him. 

“Two months.” No explanation to what you plan to do, no room for questions. He tilts your chin to look at him in the eye. He wants to see no flickering of confidence in your eyes. He’s getting impatient, you could see from how his forehead wrinkles as he gazes into your eyes. You don’t fail to catch the way his eyes snap to your lips, the way his breath tickles your skin, how you can practically taste the milk tea on his lips. With a millisecond to spare, you turn your face back to the laptop screen. 

Even on social media, you notice how close he still is to his exes. It’s hard not to ignore the weighted messages the exes send him, that he replies to with ease. 

“You know, I’m scared she might steal you from me.” You confess veiling your fear with a laughing emoji.

He looks at your message weirdly. “No one’s going to steal me from you, you know that right?” 

You stare at his message, somehow unable to believe it. 

“No one else but you. You’re the only one I want and if I have to wait forever, I will.”

You wish you didn’t see him post a photo of him drinking with ex. 

You still push on, quitting wasn’t an option.

Those two months never come. Your parents catch you with him, asking you as to why you would choose to date someone like him. “Mom, listen--” you couldn’t get another word out when you feel a palm against your cheek. You gently press against the sting, you couldn’t see anything anymore, much less hear what they were yelling about. All you saw was red. Your eyes dim into a steely gaze, directed at both him and your parents. “Leave.” The statement catching everyone off guard. 

“Excuse me? Don’t talk to your own parents like that!” Your mom exclaims. 

“Both of you stopped becoming my parents the day you chose to berate my choices in life and compare me to my cousins.” You snap back. Your tone cold and piercing, it leaves the three of them in shock. 

“Hey..” He tries to get you back to reality. He calls for your name gently, reaching out to you but the way you look at him has him stopping in his tracks. 

“Get out of my sight.” You hiss. You return your gaze to the two people who have made you so fearful, so weak, so lost. “Fuck you.” You state, the lack of emotion in your voice makes his blood run cold. What he had done behind your back along with your parents had tipped you over the edge. Without another word to the three, you leave the premises. 

For once, he regrets not waiting a little longer. He watches you leave, unable to stop you, and just like that you were out of his eyesight. The shock on your parents’s faces makes him clench his jaw. He doesn’t bother to give them a word and instead runs out of the restaurant, in hopes of being able to catch you. When he sees the amount of people that’s when he realizes he’s lost you.

People say love stories start with a hi, but no one tells you how they end.

Within the next few weeks, you pack everything you own, to live somewhere away from their reach. You’ve arranged everything to make sure they were not to contact you unless it was an emergency and even then you will decide if it is indeed an emergency. Your eyes scan your new home, plain and spacious, just waiting for it to be sprinkled with your personality. It’s a hope for something new. 

You look at yourself in the mirror. Nothing about you seemed to fit what red was anymore to you. You change your red shirt for a blue button up and look at yourself in the mirror once again. It suits you. A much needed change. 

You just couldn’t look at red the same. 

Eventually you’ve taken up a different style. A different color. Blue. A reminder to take things one step at a time. You’ve calmed down, though still headstrong and opinionated, you started to choose your battles. Even with the change, you still had your red lipstick: a reminder of your passion, your strength even if it has been tamed by the comforting blue. 

In those same weeks, he hoped to see you in his notifications: a message, a tweet, a like, anything as long as it was from you. His eyes drag across the screen of his phone, his free hand scrolling through his timeline. He wonders how you’ve been. Your profile still on his screen as he wonders what you’re up to now. 

“What’s wrong?” She asks and it makes him tear his eyes away from his phone to the new girl in his arms. She catches the way his forehead wrinkles from frustration but she says nothing. 

He keeps his phone away then shakes his head, brushing his lips against her temple. “Nothing babe. You know how the guys can be.” It’s a lie. He despises himself for lying so easily, so quickly. He was hoping to see a message from you even if he has someone else in his arms. He returns his attention to her, tickling her skin with the tip of his nose. For a moment, her laughter brings a smile to his face but it doesn’t make his stomach go through that funny feeling you do to him. She just wasn’t you, no matter how hard he tried to give her the love he had for you to her, it just wasn’t enough. 

Will it ever be?

Once everything has been settled into your new home with the help of your friends that they suggest that all of you go out for dinner, just to get your mind off from everything that has happened. You don’t decline it anymore. You let them call the shots for the night, just as long as you get back sober. You didn’t want to stay up tonight missing the sound of his voice, reminiscing about how warm it was to be in his arms. 

You still don’t have the heart to delete all the photos and videos you’ve kept from your time with him. Eventually you will, but for now, you’ll heal slowly with the help of your friends. 

It’s still a mystery, how you fell for someone that made you approach life in ways you didn’t expect. You ask yourself too, what made him fall for someone like you. For now, you’ll leave that question up in the air, you want to live in the moment at least for tonight. 

You didn’t expect yourself to laugh without a care in the world as your friends updated you in the latest gossip and news in their lives. Your friends remember how broken you looked after that day, puffy eyes, flushed glossy cheeks, dark eye bags. Compared to now, your cheeks are flushed and sore from the smiles, your eyes shut tightly as you try to hold in a laugh. While your break up hit you heavier than they expected, it made you stronger, a little better.  They notice how stress wasn’t apparent in your features anymore. You genuinely seemed like you were in a better place now. As better as it could be even without him. 

Wooyoung hears something he didn’t expect to hear, much to the surprise of the boys as well. They watch him look around until he found what he’s been looking for. You. You’re with your friends, laughing, and smiling. He finds himself smiling at the sight of you, relieved to see you back on your feet, wistful to wish that the smile was for him. He catches sight of how you gaze at the waiter, how your friends nudge you playfully, how you shake your head at whatever they were telling you. He’s relieved to see you smiling again. 

He notices the change, you weren’t wearing anything red anymore. Even though you aren’t in your signature red look, your lips still wear that shade that makes him unable to move. You look a lot better, lighter even. He wonders how have you been. Have you moved on from him? Without another thought, he takes the risk of sending you a message. He pretends to go back to his meal, watching you, hoping you receive his message. It’s how your still red lips are caught in between your teeth, how your eyes scan the area that he uses his friend’s as a cover, that lets him know you still have his number. 

“That’s her isn’t it?” His friend, Yeosang quips before managing to fit a wrap into his mouth. Wooyoung turns his attention to him, failing to see that you’ve caught him.

“Yeah..” he mumbles, trailing off. The way you looked at the waiter makes him think you that you may have moved on. Maybe him waiting for you was futile in the end after all. This entire time, he’s got another girl in his arms, calling her his girlfriend, yet his heart still has you. Why can’t he let go of you? It’s a question that makes him brush through his hair in frustration. 

He never got to apologize for drinking with his ex. Even if Yeosang had told him that what he’s doing was a bad idea, he still went for it. Old habits die hard, after all. 

Some of your friends catch the way your eyes look. It’s a look they’ve come to know fairly well and one of them tries their best to look around without causing a scene. “He’s here.” She mumbles to your friends and it’s what snaps you out of your reverie. One of your friends immediately wraps his arms around you, pulling you close to his frame. They’ll do everything to make sure he doesn’t approach you, not while your wounds are still fresh. They don’t know about his text message either, you kept your phone in your bag after you realized who it came from. 

“Hey hey.” Your friend says, stealing your attention from the guy that hurt you. “Ah.” He says, making you repeat what he says before feeding you with pork neck. It’s when you eat the offered meat that he ruffles your hair and lets you go, soft laughter slipping through. 

Wooyoung wishes it was him instead feeding you. He finishes the rest of his meal quietly, waiting for the rest of his friends to finish as well. He wants to get out of the restaurant fast, to see you with a potential partner, someone that seems to fit your parents’s standards hurts him more than he’d like to admit. His ears are with his friends but his eyes and mind are on you. 

It takes a while for you to realize that he dyed his hair once more. The last time you saw him, it was platinum blond. This time his hair has turned purple and for a moment it takes your breath away. The new look makes it hard for you to look away. No one knows that the two of you have been staring at each other, taking in the new look the other has. No one knows that the two of you are falling for each other again.   

Even though, he’s hurt you, you still harbor some feelings for him. Would you be able to give him another chance? You weren’t sure. This was a field where game plans don’t matter. This is a field that requires you to think fast, where having no plan is a good enough plan. You take this chance to pay for the bill, after all you just got promoted. None of you expected your hand to move so fast, snatching the bill from your friend’s hands, immediately making your way to the cashier, away from how Wooyoung was making your heart rush in ways you could barely control. 

He takes this chance too, to pay for everyone’s meal, much to the delight of his friends. Yeosang knew the reasoning and for once he’ll sit back. There are things in life that no advice can teach that only experience can. He has the bill in his hand and follows you to the cashier. 

It’s when you spin on your heel to make your way back to your table that you bump onto someone’s chest. His chest. Out of fear, you don’t dare to look up and instead force your eyes to stay downcast as you head back. His arm blocks your way, his free hand then handing his bill to the staff behind the cashier. 

“Can I ask for some time from you?” 

“I don’t think I have time for this.” 

“Please, just hear me out.”

“Please leave me alone. You can’t expect another reckless chance after everything.” 

That alone is enough of an answer for him to drop his arm. Once you see your opening, you dash out of his eyesight. It’s when he gets back to his table that he sees you and your friends are already gone. He doesn’t know where you went this time. 

Your group stays in a bar for the next few hours. The place is filled with mellow giggling, buzzed chatters, soft music and dim lighting. It takes a while until the alcohol hits you. Once the alcohol hits you, so does the answer. 

Maybe you fell for him because he reminded you of red. The shades of red that you wish to be but couldn’t. The red that’s fearless, steadfast, quick. He made you look at life with a little more vigor. He’s definitely taught you a few things you would have never thought you’d learn. 

God you just want to go home. 

Wooyoung reaches his place, throwing his shoes somewhere behind him as he’s back in his thoughts. Could he really do this to you and to his current lover? He looks first at his girlfriend’s profile then looks out the window, wondering where are you now. If he could take back what he’s done, he would. But to go back means the present will change. If he went back to that moment, would the two of you be together? 

The male realizes how you remind him of blue. The shade of blue that reminds him to stay steady, calm, to slow down. You’ve made him look at life as something that should be cherished rather than to speed through the chapters he hated. You’ve taught him things he never expected to learn. 

Maybe he’s meant to teach you a lesson, rather than being meant for you. Maybe you were meant for him, rather than being a lesson for him. 

No one has taught you that it’s okay to be both. That it just might be better to be both than to be either one or the other. 

A profile’s follower count went down by one that night. The photos and videos still safe in their phone, their number still saved. They didn’t have the heart to forget. 

For now both of you will continue to live through life. Until the time comes that both of you can look at each other again and maybe, just maybe, take that risk to try again.

For Chiaki, Tenko, and Nagito: Hello again, sorry to come back so soon, but something came up recently. So, awhile back, I came out to my parents as a demigirl and asked if they could call me by my preferred name instead of my dead name. It’s been weeks and my mom finally brought it up last night. As it turns out, she wants to be supportive and use my preferred name, but she also wants to support my dad as well. What I mean is that whenever my mom tries to bring it up to him, he always tells her that he’s “not ready to talk about it.” I understand where he’s coming from, but at the same time, I wish he would call me by my preferred name. I came out to some other family members I trust and they were all supportive, and even use my new name. At this point, I’m not really sure what to do, or if there’s anything I can do. I could really use some advice and hugs.

Second, I'm really glad your mom wants to support you, but your dad is a different story. From what you've told us, I think your dad is still processing things. I guess the only thing you can do at this point is to wait and see if he'll come around. You could also ask your mom to talk to him about it little bit more.

You should know that there are a ton of people around you who support you and love you. Either way, I just know my super special hugs will make you feel better!!

Hey there again, don’t apologize for coming back soon. It doesn’t matter how long it’s been, we’re here to help. But it’s unfortunate to hear that your dad isn’t so willing to be as accepting as your mom. That’s super lame, especially if this is his way of avoiding the topic entirely.

Unfortunately, as much as I don’t want to be the one that doesn’t tell you, but there isn’t a chance for you can do about changing someone elses mind when they don’t want to. That’s how stubborn some people can be. And others aren’t stubborn but just plain…terrible. I’m trailing off the topic, sorry.

I have to say Anon, when I read that transphobia warning, it filled me with anger. I know someone who is trans and they go through so much already, it makes me mad when people aren’t accepting. I know that it’s your family here but if your dad isn’t even willing to talk it out, there isn’t much you can do. Especially if they’re stubborn and hardheaded, it sickens me. Almost as much as those without an ultimate.

But that’s not important right now, I have to agree with everything Nanami and Chabashira said, they probably helped you more than I ever could, however. If I may give my input, I would love to speak.

Better to have one parent support you than none at all if you ask me, but it’s still disappointing that your father doesn’t want to be as accepting. Two things you could do, both are mentioned by my fellow ultimates. You could either wait it out and see if he does eventually want to speak to you about it or accept that he may never want to talk about it. I know it seems harsh but sometimes, when you’re able to and not dependent on them anymore, it’s okay to cut off a parent. Yes, they’re your parent but that doesn’t mean you’re obligated to be around them.

Now whenever he accepts or not, you still have your mothers support and that is better than nothing. I’d be happy to give you a few hugs, if that is what you wish.

OH HELL YEAH ROUND 2 LETS GOOOOOOOOOOO / under cut for length!

Merlin - Initial impression was wary. Not as bad as Joyeuse, but he had some reservations. He came around much quicker than Joyeuse did obviously, able to sense that nothing was amiss or untrustworthy about Red. He even tried to talk to Joyeuse about it, but with how stubborn and hardheaded she can be, it was a lost cause. Merlin absolutely adores Red now. Even initially he liked the fire-type starter solidarity he had with Serena, however.

Snack - As I’ve said, Snack is a very easygoing pokemon that doesn’t really care much about anything going on, unless it affects him or his team negatively. He did think Joyeuse was being way too dramatic, but unlike Merlin or Rose, he didn’t try to sway her opinion as he knew it’d be a losing battle and a waste of time. He enjoyed the company of Red’s team when they all met, and enjoys their company still even now - especially Quake. :) It’s also been nice having another Kanto starter around too. I think the thing he’s the happiest about, besides Serena’s happiness obviously, is that they have a home together and he can actually be out and rest in the sun. Without Red, that would have happened a lot later down the line.

Joyeuse - Oh boy. In the beginning when they were just friendly, Joyeuse was totally fine with Red. It wasn’t until romantic feelings began to crop up that she stopped and was like, WAIT A MINUTE, and her opinion sort of soured. After seeing how wrecked Serena was after her previous relationships, Joyeuse assumed the worst and was not hearing anything about how this time would be different. It wasn’t until she saw how absolutely devastated Serena was when Red went back to Johto that she realized how happy they were together. Since they’ve bought the house in Anistar, her view on Red has improved a lot. She feels horrible about the way she treated him, as I don’t imagine she was subtle about her dislike. She’s glad her attitude wasn’t enough to push Red away, and she still feels so bad about everything even now. Red is another person she would readily protect with everything she has.

Rose - Rose has had a very positive view on Red even from the beginning. She is very in-tune with the emotions of people around her, and she never felt any disingenuous or malicious vibes from him. She has been a cheerleader for them as a couple since day one and is EXTREMELY pleased they got together. Not only because she gets to be with Gleam more, but because she can feel they’re both so genuinely happy and in love. It makes her heart full every time she sees them together. She did try her best to get through to Joyeuse as Merlin did, to no avail. Rose is glad everything worked out in the end, as she feels everyone has gotten their happy ending so far. She’s just waiting for the day they get married now. :)

Jello - He was honestly mildly intimidated by Red and his team at first, like with everyone he meets. The fact that Nami had tried to make him more comfortable and at ease immediately after meeting him, despite not even knowing him, made Jello relax a lot. The more he saw Red, the more reassured he grew until he grew just as comfortable with him as he is with Serena. It’s like he’s a whole new Goodra now.

Sunflower - Sunflower is also up there as a long running cheerleader for Red and Serena. She got all of the information about them both from Rose, and being the trusting Ampharos she is, was absolutely rooting for Red from the very start. She also really loves that he has an electric-type on his team too; hanging out with Spark is SO FUN to her. Sunflower doesn’t have the same level of emotional awareness that Rose holds, but she can also see how strong their love is and it makes her feel so happy.

Loire - Again, Loire is a Swampert that just loves people so much. She loves when people around her are happy! And Serena and Red are the picture of happiness when they’re together. Even when Red is gone for a bit and Serena is at home, or vice versa, Loire notices how smiley they both get when they get a message from one another, or when they hear the front door open. It’s just so adorable to her that a love so pure exists.

Bastion - Same hat as Loire. He LOVES people, even right off the bat. So Red coming into all of their lives was honestly perfect for him, because he also brought a team full of pokemon for him to be friends with. The house is a bonus because that makes people and pokemon happy. He’s always eager to give Red the best flowers he’s grown, and he also is sure to rope Red into gardening time with him and Serena. It just all feels like a big family to him and he loves it. Also, I hope Red doesn’t mind this big steel dino trying to lay across both him and Serena when they’re on the couch. :)

Hyperion - I feel like after Hyperion got past some initial wariness, they took an interest in Red! They definitely were able to tell that his strength was no joke, and I don’t doubt they wanted to analyze how he battles just to better understand his strategies. Hyperion is a very logic-driven being, hardly relying on any emotional aspects to get them through life. The idea of love is very foreign and strange to them, but they feel they better understand it when they see Red and Serena together.

Etamin - A cautious dragon that wasn’t sure what to think about Red at first, honestly. Seeing Serena be friendly and happy towards someone always helps Etamin ease into comfort better, as he looks to her to see how she reacts around someone. And of course, her reactions around Red are always positive. He can be extremely fierce when it comes to protecting people he cares about, and Red is on that list now. He will do what he can to keep him and Serena safe with the same level of ferocity as Joyeuse would.

Cerberus - Cerberus is very similar to Etamin, in that he will also look to Serena to see how she reacts to a person. Seeing her be relaxed around someone tells him that they aren’t a threat. He may have been a bit skittish towards Red in the very beginning, but the more he saw him and Serena interact together, the more at ease he felt. It also helped that he has a rescue pokemon of his own, and it makes him feel a little less alienated.

Calista - Calista didn’t trust him, nor did she mistrust him. She simply observed for the time being in the beginning, until she deemed Red was fine. She has a lot of eyes and ears everywhere she can rely on, and nothing she heard gave her a bad impression. Like Serena, Red will get the best trinkets she finds while she’s out, including expensive watches and jewelry people drop in the streets. Or a really cool rock. She saves all of the prettiest things for the people she likes.

Yveltal - Yveltal knew from the very start that Red would be so good for Serena. Seeing them together at the Hall of Origin made him so happy, even if he didn’t outwardly show it. The way they danced and talked together made it seem like they’d known each other for years. The level of comfort and trust between them was so clear to him from the start. He was more worried about them not getting together, because he had never seen someone make Serena smile so brightly. Yveltal is very happy that they’re happy together, and he knows their love is the kind that will last beyond their lives. Red is also someone that Yveltal will aid with no questions asked, and he will kill for him if the need arises.

Secrets

the year is 1963

Tony and Amy were teens and have been friends there whole lives. Amy was three years older than tony. Throughout the years the two of them created a friendship that would last throughout their lives. They grew up always having each others backs: sometimes they were a listening ear to the other ones problems and other times they were the one to come to the rescue if a bully picked on the other. The two moved around a lot yet always remained in touch. Sometimes they often bickered and pushed each others buttons. Yet the two deeply respected one another and valued each other more than anyone else. 

Tony had gone into a rebellious stage as he hit his teenage years. He was currently a senior in college, even though he was only 15. Although top of class academically, his behavior was less than satisfactory. He spent more time out of class than in it. He often went out with his friends drinking. He was known to pull wild elaborate pranks on faculty, mouth off to teachers and throw insane parties at his dorm. He was suspended more than once for breaking school rules. Yet was ultimately let back in due to the large amount of money Howard would donate to the school. Amy was 17, the daughter of Steve Rogers and Peggy Carter. At 16 she was recruited into the S.H.I.E.L.D training program, which required her to get a higher education. She skipped her senior year of high school and was accepted into Princeton University. She took courses their while also do training with S.H.I.E.L.D. Amy was in her second year at Princeton.

 Amy kept in contact with Tony throughout college. They would even make trips to see each other on weekends or school holidays. She wasn't too fond  of his behavior and honestly she worried about him alot. She felt he was going down a bad path and she hoped she could steer him the right way again. Yet, Tony was so stubborn and hardheaded that he didnt listen to her to often. She was able to at least be someone he could confide in and be his self with. 

As summer came around both Tony and Amy were back in New York with their families. Being home didnt make things much better for Tony. His parents were constantly arguing, since his mother suspected Howard was unfaithful. Howard also was putting alot of pressure on his son about his future. Howard wanted Tony to work at Stark Industries once he graduated and eventually take over the company. Tony was spending more and more time with Amy with her he felt comfort, love and stability that he didnt feel at home. As the summer went on the two began to date.

"Ams, why can't we just tell your parents that were dating?” Tony began as they two walked home from school together. “They are literal spies. I think our chances of getting away with this are slim to none. If we get caught they will blame me, then murder me and make it look like an accident.”

Amy rolled her eyes.

"There not going to find out. Just relax. Were just as clever as they are." Amy assured her. "Were both at the tops of our classes, i think we can manage to hide a relationship. Plus we been careful not to let anyone see us, including the paparazzi."

"I don't like lying to them." Tony replied. "They have always been there for me when i needed them. I have been honest with them and in return they never bull shitted me about my dad or you or anything else. Now i just feel like i`m stabbing them in the back."

“I'm their daughter how do you think i feel?"

"Yeah but you lie to them all the time, your used to it." Tony replied with a chuckle. "I mean your the girl who told your parents you couldnt come home for Thanksgiving because you were feeling sick, but then went to a concert in Miami with your friends.""

 Amy burst out into laughter.

"Your seriously judging me on my decisions?" She questioned with a smirk. "like your any better. Did those 12 dorm parties throw themselves this year? And how many times have you blacked out from drinking?"

"Okay so neither of us are winning kid of the year. But its still not right. They might not even be mad if we told them we were dating. I mean what's the harm? They had no problem with us being friends all this time, even despite the trouble I been getting into. They like me, they know I'm a good guy. They got to know I would never do anything to hurt you. Yet, if they find out we been keeping a big serect like this from them, there probably gana be pissed. What if they get so mad at us that they don't let us be friends? You and Rhodey are the only real friends i have. You guys know me better than anyone else.....I just don't want to lose you."

"You won't. No matter what me and you will always be a friends, bit I like being a couple better." She put a hand onto his cheek. "Look I'm just afraid to tell them cause on the outside you seem like the type of bad boy guy that mother's usually tell their daugther's to stay away from. All the guys I dated in the past have been so different then you. So I'm just worried what they will think. Maybe they say 'he's fine for a pal but not to date'. I don't know I don't want them to judge us, to judge you. I don't want them to choose who I date, I want it to be me."

"I guess I could understand that."tony remarked. "Although I think my parents would be thankful if they knew, they always liked you. They thought you were a good influence on me. Plus I had always had a crush on you even when we were kids."

"Really?"

"How could I not? Your the most beautiful, kind and smart girl I know. No else challenges me like you do. Plus you see past the money and the brains and actually care about me as person.....also you have basically been my only competition in the science fairs."

She chuckled. The she held his hand in hers.

"Well you have a good heart and a sweet nature to you. Even though you try to act all tough and confident, I know that you really just a big softy. Not only that your brave and unafraid to speak you mind and I think I love that best about you."

They stood in the doorway of the house, no one was "supposed" to be home for hours. He kissed her passionately.

"I don't know what I would do without you." Tony spoke.

"Don't go all moshy on me." Amy commented with a smirk. "Im sure you would be fine without me. Your a smart guy you would be able to figure it out." She replied with a chuckle.

He smiled and kissed her lips quickly.

The two of them went into the house. They went upstairs to her room. Amy and tony sat on Amy's bed. Amy kissed tony on the lips and the two made out on the bed. He began to kiss up and down her neck. She pushed him back onto the bed as she kissed his lips forcefully. She felt his chest and let her hands roam his torso. He pulled her close to him and kissed her lips once more.

Then they heard the door creak open.....

                 — regarding : ben, adam & belle. updated as of 06/11/2020. keep in mind during this whole thing that i’m not saying ben lived a bad childhood. he grew up in a castle with everything he could ever wish for at his beck and call and knows how fortunate he was to grow up in auradon let alone in line to be king. however, things within the family themselves weren’t always as peachy keen as i think they led people outside the castle to believe !

adam & belle do not have a harmonious marriage. they do very much love each other and they do love their kid, but adam himself is temperamental and prone to outbursts ( which i’ll touch on specifically later ) and belle, while gentler, is very stubborn and hardheaded just like adam. this meant that the castle was very often home to loud arguments that ben was present for, a lot of slammed doors and dinners spent with only one of them. while this wasn’t in the public eye, i’m comfortable saying some of the families they were closer with witnessed an outburst or two ( audrey, jane, chad, lonnie, namely ) overall, though, they seem a lot closer as a family than they actually are.

adam specifically still has a short temper that makes itself known a lot even though he’s aware of it and tries to keep it under wraps. even though belle calms him down a lot there were still countless times when ben was on the receiving end of one of adams outbursts ( he never purposefully hurt ben, to clarify, he threw things and broke things and yelled a lot and this was often very close to ben’s person. he is in general a rough guy, a couple times via the books ben mentions adam patting his back so hard it nearly knocks him over ) and when ben was younger it made him really nervous to step out of line, and as he got older it sort of tied into him initially thinking he needed to rule the way adam did to be a good ruler to begin with ( which he learns isn’t true, so it’s okay. ) however, as he got older he also just … got used to it, it stopped making him nervous so much as it was .. another tuesday in the castle.

i have a hard time ... verbalizing ben / adam because i don’t want to over or understate the way things were !! as a little expansion on the italicized part in the above paragraph, ben was never purposefully hurt but he had some bruises from being handled too roughly sometimes, though it was accidental. things were often thrown ... not at him, but very close to him and his body, broken right by him, etc.  there was a line that wasn’t crossed but it was a thin line and there were moments where ben didn’t know if it would be crossed ??  

ben rarely talks about any of it, but when he does he also tends to minimize it.  i think ... for the most part in house everyone minimizes it without really ... realizing they’re doing it ?? for ben i think it comes from a point of knowing that things could’ve been and were a lot worse for a lot of other people and having gotten so used to it that even at a young age it didn’t stick out to him very much. enough that he knew he couldn’t ... openly talk about it, but there was a lot they couldn’t talk about. there was an image to keep up, so even that really wasn’t unusual. 

on the parents end, that’s harder for me to say obviously because i do not play them. i think that adam typically apologized once he’d calmed down. belle always apologized if she yelled at ben, though i do think she was more on the side of sometimes ben got stuck in between one of their fights and she said something hasty but nothing further. and that was ... kind of just the cycle of things, and no one put a stop to it because it didn’t seem ... necessary ??  because it didn’t seem that bad ?? because things weren’t always bad ?? all of the above ?? i don’t know, but that’s how it went.

that being said, while ben did get used to living around that in his relationships with other people, angry or not, he’s very very very hard pressed to raise his voice, or anything of the sort. he’ll talk it out or he’ll stay quiet until he’s at a point where he can do that. the few times his temper has gotten the better of him he feels incredibly bad about it, he knows what it’s like to be around someone you sort of have to tip toe about with and that it’s not fun. he never wants to come off that way, and strives not to. he also … does not like being at the receiving ends of behavior like that ! it makes him fidgety.

this is also part of the reason why ben is closer to belle than adam. while, yeah, they have more in common personality wise, there’s sort of an underlying disconnect between him and his dad though they have the whole beast thing in common and ben does take after him a in a few ways ( i.e temper. ) they love each other but don’t have anything close to the same relationship ben and belle do. ben credits pretty much all of his good traits to his mom and mrs. potts. ben also fully acknowledges, obviously since he was the one that changed it, that his dad made a lot of bad decisions during his reign. even on top of the isle, he dedicates a lot of time fixing these things. he knows adam isn’t a bad person or anything, but he’s never going to argue with anyone about the (non) validity of his choices.

throughout his childhood and the rest of his life leading up to descendants three, while of course they have their disagreements, ben really is very close with his mom. they talk a lot. he tells her a lot. after the events of descendants three, his relationship with both parents becomes very stilted because of how heavily betrayed he feels by them pushing the barrier closing. he’s already rarely talking to his dad outside of politics, so he feels it less there, but he does feel it a lot with belle. it makes him sad that he has a really hard time talking to her, for a while, without stirring ugly feelings in his chest. i like to think they eventually repair that relationship, but i’m not sure when or how long it takes.

lastly, when it comes to the reality of their home life, unless they were there to witness it it’s unlikely anyone else knows about it. the scope of people who do are probably those mentioned earlier, audrey, jane, chad and lonnie and their parents. of course everyone is free to make their assumptions based on what they do know of adam and belle, but otherwise. the other people who may know about it are just people that didn’t grow up with but become very very close to ben ( significant others, mainly. ) even then though it’s something he takes .. a while, to open up about.

Zombies

I don’t usually make any posts on Tumblr unless I have something to say, and I feel like this is the only place that maybe my opinions will be seen. No one has really talked about this movie. I know it’s still new, but I wanna share my thoughts.

So, here we go. This is long, sorry.

I also don’t usually watch movies more than once (unless it’s The Greatest Showman. I’ve seen that five times now). However, I’ve seen ZOMBIES 3 times. I’m thinking I’ll watch it a 4th after I finish this post. Anyways, it’s just that good.

Most the the tag is filled with Zed and Addison which is fantastic because they are so cute. Their whole relationship is just pure and it’s one of the best Disney relationships I’ve seen in a while. The lack of drama between them is like a breath of fresh air. It’s been some time since I’ve seen a pair work and look so well together without any sort of complications holding them back (aside from the obvious problem in the movie, but I’ll get to that).

So, Zed. I love Zed. He’s funny and attractive and charming. I was kinda expecting that to be all there was to him. I was happily surprised. First off, Milo did a wonderful job playing Zed. There were parts in the movie where I could see Zed’s pain. I can’t exactly pinpoint any specific moments, but there were times where I just wanted to reach through the screen and give him a hug. You can clearly see just by his expressions and reactions alone that growing up a zombie was not easy (I can’t wait to see the fanfics that explore this further :)). Something that stood out to me was that Zed didn’t despise the humans. Now I know, the story probably would’ve been that much more difficult if he held the same about of hatred as Bucky did, but Zed had absolutely every right to hate them. Addison punched him in the nose. Zed could’ve yelled at her, attacked her, shown any sort of negative emotion because humans have probably done far worse to his family or others in Zombietown. He didn’t, though (and again I know, Disney probably wouldn’t have shown him blowing up on her, but it would still be an appropriate reaction). Zed is one of my favorite characters, easily.

There’s also the part about the Z-Bands, but I’ll get to that later.

Addison reminds me a lot like her actress Meg. They’re both kind and gorgeous and fun. I loved when Addison was pretending to eat popcorn while Zed described their dates in Someday. She also isn’t the cliche blonde main cheerleader. She doesn’t give in to the pressure of being mean to the zombies, and she’s not an idiot (I was hoping Disney would cut that stereotype out this time, but no avail). I liked Addison overall. I liked how she was the one standing up for Zed and the other zombies. It was a role reverse kind of, the girl protecting the guy instead of the other way around. Also going back to Zed for a moment, Addison protected him, but Zed wasn’t helpless. He didn’t necessarily need Addison to stand up for him  Sometimes I see movies with the protective girl and the helpless guy or vise versa. I was really happy to see that wasn’t the case here. My only problem with Addison was her treating her natural hair color as being equivalent to what Zed and the others were going through. She wasn’t flawed or different or ridiculed for anything like the zombies were. That bugged me a bit.

Eliza and Bonzo were great, too. I don’t have much to say about them because nothing really stood out to me. Bonzo is hilarious and Eliza is the stubborn, hardheaded character every revolution needs. I like them :)

Bucky is another favorite character of mine. He wasn’t the villain I was expecting him to be. Sure, yeah, he’s rude, self centered, harsh, snobby, and probably many more things. But to my surprise, he actually cares for Addison. i was kind of expecting something like the evil step sister. Bucky allowed Addison’s friend to be on his team because Addison wanted him to. He greets her with a smile, even calls her “Cous” which is cute. He’s proud of her cheer skills. He’s under the impression that zombies are dangerous, so he wants to protect Addison the best he can. And he’s obviously as naive as Addison when it comes to zombies, as seen under the bleachers between him and Zed. My point is, I don’t think he’s not as evil as he comes across.

The Homecoming Game (last thing, promise). Oh my gosh. Kudos to the makeup crew for that scene. And double kudos to all the actors. That was one of my favorite moments in the whole movie. When I saw Zed walking across that field, I knew things were getting real. He looked terrifying. It wasn’t horror movie level scary, but Zed looked pretty dark for a Disney movie. And then Eliza and Bonzo, too? Just. Wow. I wasn’t expecting that.

First of all, this scene shows how incredibly dangerous messing with the Z-Bands actually is. They went full zombie here and man, I’d be scared of them too. This just further pushes the idea that what Zed was doing was crazy. He was risking his life just so his friends could get treated a little more equally. That’s such a scary price to have to pay and he was willing to do it, no questions asked. Thus, yet another layer of Zed that I really adore.

And Bucky and Addison’s reactions to the incident were pretty important, too. Bucky’s especially. First, he witnessed Zed, the guy Bucky had been plotting against for weeks, forcing himself back and fighting the urge to attack Bucky. I imagine that took a lot of strength. Bucky’s surprised by this, of course. While he’s still trying to sort that out and Zed’s trying to keep himself calm, an officer comes up behind Zed with a electrical thing (don’t have a name for it, sorry). That thing shocks Zed to his core. Bucky is surprised and shocked and probably a bit horrified, too. I mean, I get it. I gasped when I watched it happen just because you can see the shock in his cheekbones and he cries out in pain and then just sits back and is trapped in some kind of daze? He doesn’t even notice Addison trying to talk to him. Is he thinking about what just happened? How he almost took a bite out of Bucky? How he refrained from doing so? Or did that electrical thing kinda, I don’t know, shut him down? He looked pretty out of it for a second there. This is the turning point for Bucky, though. This is where he starts questioning everything he’s been told and has believed in his whole life.

I loved Addison in this scene. I don’t know what it was exactly, just the way she sat next to Zed and held his hand and tried her best to calm him down was sweet and perfect for that moment. She just witnessed him at his absolute worst and most vulnerable time and still there she was, holding his hand and unafraid. I loved it.

This movie held a very powerful message that relates to our everyday world. Be yourself, and stand up for what you believe in. Disney’s been doing well lately with this message. I would recommend this movie to everyone. I loved every minute of it. The songs, the dances, the setting, the characters, it was all amazing. Also, the colors were aesthetically perfect. I loved the pastel blues and pinks. It’s also worth mentioning that neither of these colors were assigned a gender :)

Overall, 20/10. This is such a great movie. I have hopes it’ll be renewed for a sequel. A TV series would be neat as well. I just need more. :D

BACKGROUND.

julietta was born and raised in san bernadino, california where the crime rates are high, the public schools are shitty, and the temperature never dips below 50º !! her father wasn’t around and her mother ... really wasn’t much of a mother. she tried to be, but [ DRUG ADDICTION CW, OVERDOSE CW;; she was a young parent and struggled with a heroin addiction before her pregnancy and unfortunately continued to struggle with it after her daughter was born. she was in and out of rehab, clean one year and hooked again the next. when julietta was ten, her mother lost that battle and died of an overdose. ]

luckily, jules was in good hands. her grandmother loved her like she was the only good thing in the world. she was the one who enrolled jules in her first dance class at the age of three. the two of them spent an obscene amount of time in dance classes or at competitions. julietta thrived on stage, in fact, it was the only place she really allowed herself to be unapologetically, vibrantly her.

she did well in school but kept to herself for the most part. her evenings and weekends were spent in a dance studio or at competitions, and what little time she had left was taken up by her place on her high school’s dance team, homework, or a part time job teaching dance classes. things weren’t perfect, they weren’t easy, but they were okay for a while.

when jules was sixteen, however, her grandmother fell ill. she took the year off of competitions, picked up more hours of teaching, and watched as the woman who raised her withered away along with any financial stability the santos family might’ve had. hospital bills were high and morale was low. after a year and a half of sick, rita santos, the woman who shaped julietta, passed away.

jules was left alone, lost, and reluctant to go into the foster system as she was on the cusp of eighteen, so, as the sole benefactor of her grandmother’s assets, she did what she could. but funds run out and things go terribly wrong. after graduation, she hightailed it out of san bernadino and drove just a bit farther north to get back into the dance game and to further her education. 

she used what money she had left to rent a shitty apartment and worked her butt off teaching dance classes and going to school part time. but funds run out and things go terribly wrong. unfortunately, julietta got involved with the wrong people, fell in love with the wrong boy, and signed a contract with the wrong agency. her ‘friends’ surrounded her with the same toxicity that killed her mother. her boyfriend made her feel small and slept with a slew of other people while they were together. her agent took her money and never got her gigs, skipping town when she finally caught on. 

so she was pretty down in the dumps, but if her grandma taught her anything, it was resilience. but funds run out and things go!! terribly wrong!! unfortunately, she was forced to leave that shitty apartment and couch surfed in between stints of living in her car.

most of her money comes from teaching courses at different dance studios, cash prizes from competitions, and now the show. it was pure luck that she got on, got an apartment, and got to cut back on working in order to spend more time auditioning. things are looking up, but she’s not entirely sure she’s ready for the pressure of sharing her personal life with national television.

PERSONALITY. 

julietta is incredibly passionate about dance and really comes to life when she’s on stage. pointe/classical ballet is her favorite, but she’s also professionally trained in contemporary/modern, hiphop, ballroom and–– though she might not admit to it–– tap. the julietta on stage is her truest form, where she’s honest and open and good. really, really good.

she’s stubborn as fuck and a little bit too much of a perfectionist. she works herself to exhaustion and tends to be her own biggest critic. it adds to her greatness as she pushes herself to be the best she can be, but it causes issues as well. because she’s so hardheaded, she doesn’t recognize her own limits. she won’t take help, even when it’s stupid to refuse it. like yes life throws her some curveballs but fucking hell she tends to make her own problems much worse.

she’s very very very ,... quite. ‘demure’ or ‘wallflower’ fits tbh. when she speaks, it’s purposeful, but it’s rare. more often than not, she spends her time observing rather than speaking, at the edge of a party rather than at the center of it. like she really is an introvert through and through, only letting that goofy, more vulnerable side of herself out when she’s around people who know her very well.

she’s got an old soul. like she just carries herself in the way natalie wood or rita hayworth or grace kelly would. she’s a hopeless romantic like that, idk how to explain it!!!

has a cat named binx that is a very recent addition to the santos family but yes he’s named after that binx

loves holidays. is 110% the kind of mom friend that sends her friends holiday themed care packages when she can afford it

Will not do what they don’t want to do, will not listen to your advice about it. Generally easy going though, easy to fall in love with. Beautiful, charming, kind hearted, secretly sensitive. Dependable if they care about you. If they’re introverted they rarely speak, if they’re extroverted they’re the loudest person you know. They can be extremely lazy, spoiled and bratty. Needs a solid push, usually a large catalyst to change their behavior/spark growth. Will love you forever, will do anything for you. Shows love through acts of service. Is sensitive to touch (What it means), their appearance, and how they are perceived. Deeply possessive and jealous, what’s theirs is THEIRS. And they will fight you for it. Comfortable to be around, and wants you to feel that way. Cancer Moon - More protective than Cancer Sun. Fierce, not to be fucked with. Do not come for this persons family or you will see some scary shit. Emotions run extremely deep, probably someone (especially paired with an earth sun) who doesn’t cry easily or forces themselves not to cry. They know they are emotional and therefore fight to keep it under wraps for fear of being perceived as weak. Can seem very harsh and callous if they don’t like you. Also a water moon like Cancer but if Cancer lived in the underworld and liked to fight things. Emotionally jealous and possessive. The type of person who only wants you to be friends with them, and not have other friends. Needs reassurance that the people they love care about them. Abandonment issues/Afraid of abandonment. Acts wildly and unpredictably (even immorally) when upset or doesn’t have a sense of stability. Lashes out easily, is sorry just as quickly. Pouty. Is secretly baby, but doesn’t like being treated like a child. Deep, deep, and very dark emotions. My HC: Leo Sun, Taurus Moon Why: Okay so this is where we differ a bit but I think we were both thinking about similar things energetically! So, for this one (and the other ones where we differ) I want to highlight the differences and similarities between our hc’s. 

Leo Sun - 

So this one is tough for me because sometimes I lean towards Libra. Though I do think Leo tends to fit a bit more just from the ‘ego’ standpoint. I’m not a big fan of the Leo stereotype that they are just self involved, selfish, narcissists. Though we all know Dandelion looooveess his attention, I also think his deeper traits shine through with Leo AND Libra. That being: creative to the core, generous to a fault, loving (love makes the world go round philosophy), loyal, self assured (this can be prideful when expressed immaturely), knows what they like and dislike, Leo motto “I AM”, warm and affectionate, tends to be loud, likes to show off what they’re good at (Or just receive positive attention for it), likes attention (this can be literal attention - a showman. Or someone who needs to feel seen by those who they love (Geralt calling Dandelion out on his shit.)) Likes to debate, often thinks they’re right. If they Love you they LOVE you, if not, they are easily distracted. Shows you they care by showing up, listening to you, remembering important details about you, and giving you personalized gifts. Some Libra traits: Love of beauty, art, culture, dance, food, music etc etc etc. If it’s creative and beautiful they’re IN BOIE. Thrives socially but doesn’t get close to many. Good at playing the part, social chameleon. Often makes the ones truly closest feel insecure because of this. Loves their friends, loves people and their diversity, wants to experience IT ALL. My HC Taurus Moon - 

Lover of art and beauty (once again), loyal (seeing a trend here w all these guys), emotionally sure of themselves, has deep principles and morals. Prone to laziness and self indulgence. May be perceived as stupid, air headed, or not that sharp by others. Contrary to this they are actually very methodical, taking their time to understand how they feel and internalizing it. Critical of others, not usually themselves. Often thinks they ‘know what’s best’ but this is because they take time to work through how they feel and know what works best for them. They just forget that not everyone is like them. Steadfast, likes to argue/debate/bicker, will be your friend for life. Someone you can party with, but also someone who is fine with chilling and doing nothing all day too.

Milva: Maj HC: Sagittarius Sun, Aries Moon My HC: Same Why: Sag Sun: Independent, free thinker, philosophizes even if they dunno what they’re talking about. Traveller. Does not like to be held down OR told what to do. Will fight you about it. Yearns for more, always feels like they’re living too linearly, not sure if they’ve made the right decisions in life. Wonders about what could be/what could have been A LOT. Tries to see the big picture. Usually upbeat or high energy, very opinionated. Aries Moon: Will bite your head off in one second, then cry the next, then brood the next, then laugh hysterically the next, then… you get the picture. Aries moon is the God of War in the emotions. Aries is the strike of a match, the quick SUPER HOT spark that dies out just as quickly. Put this where your feelings are and you get someone who’s emotions change like the weather. And someone who can’t help but express them. If you’ve ever met an Aries moon who doesn’t express every thing they feel the moment they feel it, they’re probably a serial killer (I’m like only ¼th joking). Feels very intensely. While their mood swings may seem annoying or trivial to others, they impact the Aries moon deeply and strongly. Each mood, each emotion, has a cause and meaning for them. They will take time later to digest it, and they will most likely not apologize for acting out. They know they were justified to feel how they did.

Regis: Maj HC: Aquarius Sun, Libra Moon

My HC: Capricorn Sun, Pisces Moon Why: Capricorn Sun: Ok so Aquarius, truthfully, makes a lot of sense for Regis. BUT, seeing that I love Regis and I’m also an Aquarius I felt it was…a little self serving to HC him as one. I DO feel like in a lot of ways it fits. See: talks way too much about niche subjects that no one cares about but expects you to listen :) 

So anyway, I do agree but I also think Cap Sun works too so I’ll just go into that so I don’t just eat my own ass for this entire paragraph. Actually, as I sit here and think I have decided that Aquarius is young Regis and he chills the fuck out and Capricorns himself after he emerges from ye olde decapitation slumber. 

Capricorn sun is pragmatic, and old soul, a ‘sage’ (Heheh), the keeper of time. They tend to see life from a detached standpoint, preferring to work through things in their head rather than experience them. They like to be ‘safe’ and in control, to feel stable and like they know what’s coming next. If they do decide to do something outside their norm its for a damn good reason, because their norm is ‘the norm’ for a damn good reason too. They may downplay their own emotions, seeming like they don’t have any, or if they do they just aren’t that big of a deal. In reality, they are a little fucking nuts. Capricorns view their life in one Long string of experiences, piling up to make them who they are, they cannot separate past selves from the present. Therefore, they are constantly reminded of their past failures, embarrassments, accomplishments and faults all the time. They can often be very ‘preachy’ because of this. Only because they feel in some way or another they’ve ‘seen it all’ and want to help others from making the same mistakes. They are deeply sensitive and this ties into their self worth. They, like capricorn moons, want to feel in control of their lives and their selves. They often feel their life experience and advice is the best way to serve and be of value to others. They self depreciate and don’t give themselves the same respect they believe others deserve. They love to play devils advocate. Pisces Moon: So Libra Moon imo does not fit Regis because air moons tend to feel very…inconsistent to me. I don’t feel like that’s the right word so don’t kill me for that. Pisces moon is the emotional psychic, the prophet, the philosopher. They are deeply in tune with those around them. This can make them an excellent companion, someone who will always know what you are feeling even if you don’t say it, and will know how to interact with those emotions. They won’t make you feel awkward or ashamed for feeling things.  They’re someone who will tend to understand you, even if they don’t agree. For this reason, they are either hermits ( because others emotions consume their whole reality and become overwhelming), or have a very very tight knit group of friends (perhaps….a Hansa? Hmmm..) in which they invest all their time and effort in. They can, on the other hand, be very closed off about their own emotions even if it’s written all over their face. You would be hard pressed to get them to open up to you if you haven’t proven time and time again that you are a trustworthy friend. They tend to forget things easily, repeat themselves, daydream, sleep and eat a lot. They love to socialize but only in small bits, often socially ‘playing’ by entertaining others and not being themselves. Very self sacrificing, to a fault. Annoyingly so. Stop doing that. They tend to think that no one will ever truly understand their depths, and they do their best to get to know you in return. They do this to ‘give back’ and make sure others don’t feel the way they do. Deeply lonely, desperate for love. A good judge of character. Will trek across the world to find ur adopted daughter with you if they feel like you’re a worthy enough person, and they are needed. 

Cahir: Maj HC: Virgo Sun, Gemini Moon My HC: Gemini Sun, Virgo Moon

Why:

Damn we were so close! Gemini Sun: An intellectual (Usually, don’t @ me Donald Tr*mp), someone who likes to ‘see all sides’, can seem overly detached (do they care? Do they not care? What do they really care about? Why are they even here? Just for laughs? Motive: Unknown.), idealistic, proud, knows what they believe but can be just as easily swayed with a good argument. Wants to seem unbiased, but secretly isn’t. Likes to get into it with others (debate), and has an innate need to be heard and valued for their opinions and beliefs. Is surprisingly passionate, and you will find out new things about them all the time. Like they love someone/care about something/value a principle you had NO IDEA about even though you’ve known them for years. A little airheaded at times, head in the clouds, gets bored easily, has a lot of excess youthful energy. Can be overly critical of others, doesn’t really care if they’ve never experienced a similar situation they still can think: I know I wouldn’t be like THAT about it. Offers good advice, likes to have fun and not think (because their thoughts tend to run a mile a minute and weigh them down), enjoys action and getting their adrenaline going. Would likely do drugs with Aries. Virgo Moon: Steadfast. Caring. A bit of an emotional control freak. Similar to Gemini sun, they think they know best, and once they do you’d fair better tryna dodge traffic on the interstate than convince them otherwise. But once they change their minds, they’ll act like that was their belief all a long. Doesn’t like to be reminded of past mistakes. Actually deeply insecure and this manifests through anxiety. Tends to see the tragedy lurking around every corner and can come off controlling because they want to give you the best advice to prevent disaster. They will get upset if you don’t listen, and will shun you if this ‘disaster’ comes to be, because they told you so, you didn’t listen, and now they are hurting because you were hurt. They offer their value to others through what may just seem like ‘nagging’, but in reality they’re trying to look out for you. 

Likes order, wants there to be a clear answer to things. Wishes they didn’t HAVE emotions. Emotions are messy and annoying. Lowkey nervous at all times. Needs to chill. Probably gets stomach aches when upset. Just wants to help! REALLY WANTS TO HELP. LET THEM HELP. They are a servant at heart, and try to find solutions to every conflict and anguish. They desire peace more than anything, but can’t tend to even find it within themselves.

Angouleme: Maj HC: Aries Sun My HC: Aries Sun, Gemini Moon Why:

Aries Sun: Passionate, wild at heart, a maverick, a warrior. Even if an Aries Is ‘chill’ they’re still not that chill. And I mean this with love. I love Aries so much, you light up my life, but y’all crazy. 

Fights for what they believe in, what they want, what they have, who they love, etc etc. A fighter. Whether literally or figuratively. A heart of gold, but can stray and become a bit uncontrollable without guidance. Wants to do the right thing. The baby of the Zodiac, so think: instinctual needs. Desires for carnal pleasures - good food, drink, company, sleep, comfort, stimulation, love. Put more enrichment in their enclosure every day or they’ll find a way out of it. Hot headed. May keep it under control but when they snap/are upset it is a sight to behold. You will not like the way they make you feel, because they’ll usually be right about what you’ve done wrong. Can be childish or react immaturely (pouting, sulking, picking fights, lashing out, insults), can cry out of frustration or anger (will make sure you know its NOT cause they’re sad they’re angy). Immature expressions can act in dangerous and self destructive ways. Fiercely protective, and wants to feel the same in return. Will go to war for you, like for reals.

Gemini Moon: Flighty, air headed, head buzzing and working harder than the render engine for Avatar (2009), so much so that if you ask them ‘what are you thinking about’ they will give you a thousand yard stare and then answer ‘I don’t know’. Cares about everything and nothing. Has a hard time focusing, and a hard time expressing their true feelings. Emotions are ruled by the head and not the heart, so they can feel detached and sometimes you wonder if the like YOU or the stimulation you provide. Rest assured, if you can make them laugh, and be a steadfast presence to calm their chaotic mind, they will love you. Changes their mind in a flash. Needs excitement, needs variety, and can make the best out of any situation. A good person to have around to keep the spirits up and be a glass half full. Can be entirely unpredictable in their emotional reactions. It takes awhile to figure out their triggers, and the what they will really care about, but once you do they will often depend on you to help them understand themselves in this way as well. odin - probably has an attitude a lot like dawn? i mean, he uprooted his whole house to sail to america to try to escape the curse. so like, paranoid family man that wants to keep his family safe. also probably likes boating/fishing or something. he’s probably sorta like my dad in that he cares deeply about his family, doesn’t like really anyone else, and can almost be sorta hotheaded when it comes to something getting in the way of him and his family. i sorta get that vibe? idk

edie - probably like how mod milton has described her before, like a kooky but weirdly lovable grandma? like the kind that would babysit the kids and then give them a bunch of chocolate and candy just before sending them back to their parents or something. probably a sweet old lady but also the kind that’s like ‘youre too nice wtf’ because she’d also be weirdly paranoid and such because of the family curse. definitely a person you could sit with and hear all of her stories though.

molly - i feel like she’d be the kinda kid who’d eat bugs and stuff as a kid and break her toys to figure out how they worked. she reminds me a lot of me as a kid, just more happy? and more interested in sea stuff. i feel like she’d be the kinda girl that you’d have to drag away from the beach whenever yall had to go home. just super bubbly and sweet but with sorta a weird fascination with dissecting things and figuring out how the innards of stuff work together. also probably spends more time eating than doing literally anything else

barbara - definitely the cute blonde that everyone said ‘she’s gonna be big one day’ and she did. she probably woulda loved watching child star stuff and when she had the opportunity to be in a movie she begged edie to let her audition. as she got older and america ‘grew out of her’, she probably was a theater kid type in high school, just waiting for another big break and auditioning anywhere she could. definitely the kind to roll her eyes whenever she had to babysit her little brothers, but she still cared a lot about them.

calvin - the kid to have probably gotten his head stuck in a fish bowl pretending to be an astronaut more than once. he was probably a big nerd growing up about space, begging for stuff like a telescope or astronomy books or anything he could get his hands on. he was the kid who said ‘im gonna be an astronaut when i grow up’ and was actually gearing to do just that. he was probably amazing as heck at school and sam might have even had him do his homework more than once. so smart kid, very hardheaded. think of like, how the majority of the fandom portrays clay terran from ace attorney (if anyone around here plays AA?)

sam - perfectly content staying on the ground, thanks. total one-with-nature type kid, probably wanted to be a nature photographer before calvin died. after the fact, he probably geared himself more toward military because he figured the thought of achieving your ‘true dream’ was all bs since he had then lost two siblings trying to achieve their dreams. so he dropped the photography except for recreational usage, and focused on gearing toward the military probably because this is vietnam war time and he didn’t really have a drive to go for anything else. he liked the structure that being in the military gave him and raised his kids with the same strict schedule, but it was probably a combination of his general stubborn pessimistic personality (which was never shown around the kids, of course) with his history and being away from the kids for a lot of their younger years because of the USMC that lead to his and Kay’s divorce. i feel like ive rambled a lot about sam for someone who doesn’t like him. tl;dr bad dad but also sad dad?

walter - my poor, sweet, paranoid delusional baby. he was probably the type to, like molly, enjoy the sea a lot. he probably wanted to be a marine biologist growing up, and when barbara died because of the supposed ‘monster’, being exposed to that kind of trauma of literally hearing your sister’s last words as she screams while being killed, that would kinda fuck you up. i could see him locking himself in his room for days on end, eventually forcing edie to have to drop him out of school and homeschool him. it probably took him months to even be able to step outside of his room. when calvin died he probably re-shut himself in, just terrified of everything. it said in game he had been down there for 30 years, and since he died at 53, that would mean he retreated to the basement at 23 years old. possibly, when no one else was living in the house aside from edie, she and him worked together to create the bunker that took a few years to make before it was livable.

dawn - she probably took after her dad a lot, not in the fact of the hunting or other activities he enjoyed but more in the pessimistic view of life. she’s seen in his story reading a lot and i feel like that’s because she’s the quiet type that would rather submerse herself in a fantasy world in a book than she would interact with the real world. sorta like how the whole “sam seemed to go out of his way to meet [death]”, conversely, dawn tried to stay away from it as much as possible. she probably grew up wanting to explore and ‘see the world’ before she died, which was why she started joining volunteer programs to help people in other countries. she probably became more religious after her dad passed but hid it more when she got close to sanjay because of religious differences, which was why she and sanjay would have decided to raise their kids without religion. she cared a lot, but she showed it in a weird way; she was angry and paranoid, sure, but she did care. sorta like how i wrote odin.

gus - rebel kid. probably grew up with a resentment for his dad and saw him as the source for ‘mom leaving’ and such. gregory died when he was around 8 years old, which is just around the time hormones are about to go wild and puberty sets in, so he probably launched himself into a punk rock lifestyle to sort of rebel against his parents and deal with his grief in his own way when he felt no one else really understood him. since dawn was pretty hardheaded and stern and pessimistic like their father, gus probably didn’t feel all that comfortable talking to her, so he just bottled a lot of stuff up. sad baby

gregory - i feel like his story sums him up personality wise pretty well, idk, hes a baby

lewis - stoner kid. he probably grew up in india learning both english and hindi from his parents, and was generally a normal happy kid until his dad died. when he did and they moved back to the states, he would have been about 14, with milton at 10 and edith at 3. milton and lewis probably got along a lot for the year they were together in the finch house and while they were being homeschooled, and when milton disappeared he probably fell into a depressive state as he had no one else to really talk to around his age about the losses he experienced. not to mention as another anon said, he was the only finch to not really show any artistic talents, which further ostracized him from his family and everyone else. he probably took to drugs as a means to cope, which became a habit. when he graduated and isolated himself in his room to smoke and occasionally talk to edith, that’s when dawn signed him up for a job at the cannery to try to help coax him out and into a more healthy life, which of course backfired. overall though, he would have been a really nice person, if not sort of standoffish emotionally. he loved spending time with his siblings and his dad, though never really had much attachment to his mom. nice dude, 10/10, would smoke a bowl with him

milton - (in the words of mod milton: college art student doesn’t get sleep) ok thanks mod milton. ok so like. i see milton as being the super artsy kid in class, the one who’d say ‘i wanna be an artist when i grow up!’ and fucked around with paint all the time and stuff. as he got older he figured out how to make stuff work better (might have even been signed up for art classes) and figured out how to make landscapes and animate (with flipbooks) and such like that. he was probably a kid very eager to learn and discover new things, like how in an entire year he managed to find all the passageways in the finch house and disclose that information to lewis before he disappeared. very smart kid, practically a prodigy for his age in the world of painting and art

edith - sweet sweetheart baby child. probably grew up like the others, wanting to learn and figure out as much stuff as she possibly could. she took to drawing a lot and maybe even took pointers as a young 4 year old from her 11 year old brother milton before he disappeared. when he disappeared this probably raised a lot of curiosity in the young child and she wanted to learn more about her family history, but dawn wouldn’t allow it and edie wanted to respect her grandchild’s wishes despite her great-grandchild’s arguments. once they stopped being homeschooled (which idk what age that would be, i’d have to do math) and edith started going to public school, she may have been kind of insecure and introverted and kept to herself a lot of the time. when lewis died and she had to switch schools she probably gained more confidence from being in a place where no one knew her or her family history anymore and got herself a boyfriend which would lead to current situations in game.
