I got some lovely perfume from an indie perfume brand and I am obsessed with them. the brand is Death and Floral I got a perfume called Nothing rusts in the desert the air is full of Ghosts" a nice light cactus flower/grass/rain scent that's great for spring/summer. and it came with a 5 ml bottle of their "Plain Jane" perfume which is the yummiest coffee scent ever it would be a great fall/winter scent but I can't wait that long, it's too good I am In Love with it oh my god

ANDOR is just lovely. what an exceptional bit of storytelling. everything I love about it are the same things I love about Cassian: the quiet, the control, the thoughtfulness, the understated humor, the attention to detail, the gritty humanity. we could not have asked for a better series. a dynamic cast anchored by Diego Luna, who remains such a powerhouse of a actor.

the series aches and drips with death. it is itself a memento mori for Cassian. he wants to be placed in the stone with his parents, but knows he is more likely to face a lonelier end. he has been building the machinations of his death for some time, quite literally. how amazing, to see this hot-blooded, angry man turn into a quiet warrior seeking death to try and protect people he loves. all along, we have not been watching a series about why Cassian decided to fight for the rebellion, but rather one where he decided he wanted to die for it. remember that you must die; remember that you can choose your own ending, if you are lucky enough.

how important it is, to climb and to try. I have been saying for years that "climbing" was a motif for Cassian's story; it is not a coincidence it is our introduction to him in ROGUE ONE and the last thing he does before he dies. we know now that he will end not by climbing to escape something, but climbing to reach something. always trying to the very last.

I am actually so serious I think it really messes with a childs creativity and joy to tell them to never make a mary sue OC. Like that unbridaled form of joy where you make a self insert OC who super cool and everyone loves them and they have every superpower in the world SHOULD be something a kid makes, it nourishes their ability to create things for fun and not be stifled by "oh but what if my character is too overpowered and cringey...". whatever
