Mutual said We Are x Pokemon, and as I'm currently back in my Pokémon era, thoughts were thunk.
Anyway, this is mostly my late night ramblings that I'm posting the morning after cause I think I'm so funny, but you can read them too if you want.
Phum and Kluen definitely have a Zangoose and a Seviper respectively. Phum's Zangoose hisses at Kluen's Seviper whenever they run into each other and Phum may or may not be encouraging him to do it even more cause he doesn't give a fuck if that snake is poisonous, he's gonna make it damn clear that he hates the guy.
But thing is, Kluen is not even pursuing Peem anymore so there is really no need, and yet Phum keeps doing it cause he doesn't know that Kluen and Beer have been bonding over their big ass snakes like dog owners at the dog park. Kluen's Seviper and Beer's Serperior are best buddies—maybe even mates, if you will.
Toey has a Espurr that he believes is absolutely adorable because "like trainer, like Pokémon". And actually he is, but he can actually be absolutely freaking terrifying because he constantly looks like it's staring right into your soul and he knows stuff you don't. Toey says those eyes are super cute but like,,, that thing has seen stuff.
Mick has the rarest Pokémon and no one really knows where they come from? They just kinda... Flock to him. Like, one day he just shows up with a damn Honedge and the next he's got a Zorua? It's that a fucking Spiritomb? Dude, is that a shiny fucking FEEBAS? What the hell?
Pun the type to pick up a Magikarp from the beach cause he thought it was sad that everyone was being mean to him, now he's got a Gyarados that looks absolutely terrifying but it's actually just an overgrown puppy that lets Guin (aka the Pidove that Pun and Chain rescued and adopted together) nap on him. Pun sometimes shoves his head right into his Gyarados' jaws to show just how harmless he is and it always scares people out of their damn minds.
Aunt Pui with a Kangaskhan.
Tan with a Blissey that immediately feels drawn to Fang and offers him one of her eggs because she can feel how hurt he is deep down and it's in her nature to make people happy. Bonus points if Tan got her as a Happiny back when he was in his 'constantly getting into fights' era, because his parents wanted him to prove that he was good at something other than beating people up. He was kind of clueless on what to do at first, but then he started taking such good care of her and treating her like his daughter and she evolved into a Chansey in record time.
Matt found a teeny tiny little Joltik roaming around in his room one day, just straight up feasting on his power outlet and he just,,, let the little guy stay. He really likes sitting on Matt's head while he draws. Sure, the blackouts are A BIT impractical sometimes, but what are you gonna do, tell the little guy no?
Just,,, itty bitty little Pokemon being drawn to Matt. He's got little Dedenne and Sewaddle buddies that nap on his windowsill everyday cause Matt feeds them.
In fact, Mick initially only started spending more time around Matt because a Dreepy just sort of,,, started following Matt around one day and Mick was like "Damn that's crazy, can I keep him?" And he wanted to see what else Matt would attract.
Chain has an Applin. Because "an apple a day keeps the doctor (and the dentist!) away", you know the drill. Funnily enough, it ends up evolving into Hydrapple—you know, the literal candied apple.
He didn't know about the whole 'lovers give each other an Applin to show their romantic interest', but when he did, the first thing he did was catch another Applin to give to Pun. No, Pun didn't get it, he just thought Chain wanted them to match. Yes, now Pun's got a dog-like, apple pie Dragon creature living in his house. Chain should've really just caught a Piplup from the start, he would've caught on quicker.
You know how Mimikyus feel lonely and disguise as Pikachu so they can be loved? You know how Fang and Phum put on the perfect son facade so they could get some love from their parents? Yeah...
You know how Togepis are said to have a shell full of happiness? How they are like little ducklings in the sense that they imprint on the first person they see and consider them their mom and stay with them? How it's said to spread joy around and how its smile is healing for the soul? How Togekiss brings good luck and loves people who are kind and respect others? You think Tan has one and he gifted Fang one of her eggs so he could heal internally the way Tan did?
Phum starting off with his normal buffalo plushie and then escalating into catching an honest to Arceus fucking Bouffalant which now kinda just,,, chills in his condo. Because fuck his parents, that's why. If he wants to have 95 kg buffalo as a roommate, he will have a 95 kg buffalo as a roommate.
Fai's Pom-Pom style Oricorio who just gets out of her Pokeball on her own whenever Fai or the other art students start getting all mopey about deadlines to try and cheer them all up. She always gets extra treats afterwards which might be why she is getting a little chunky, but in her defense, it always works.
Fai also has a Mawile who, for some reason, loves to chew on Q's leg. With her back jaws. She goes easy on him most of the time but like, Q knows better than to piss her off.
Mick has an Orthworm —the literal 310 kgs, 2'5 meters steel worm creature— roaming around the garden at his house because "Just look how SILLY he looks, he's adorable". And although the thing may not be tiny BY ANY MEANS, he's also drawn to Matt.
Kluen having Pokémon that are stereotypically 'evil' (ala Seviper, Malamar, Banette) but who are actually??? Super chill??? Like, sure, they'll bite if provoked, but bros are just chilling??? That Malamar just wants Poffins, dude. That Banette is living his best life, he doesn't want revenge on his past owner no more, Kluen picked him up from the trash one day and went "Yeah, I'll take care of you." That Seviper is highkey thirsty for Beer's royal ass Serperior. His Tinkaton IS evil tho.
Also yes, Kluen has a Tinkaton and Phum has a Corviknight, because that would be hilarious.
Beer having so many Pokemon that most people wouldn't know how to evolve because he actually has the braincells to figure out how it happens. So when you see his Kingambit or Gholdengo? That's him lowkey flexing.
Peem's biggest dream is to travel across the ocean on a Lapras. Phum's biggest dream is to catch a Lapras for Peem and go with him.
Q's grandpa left him a Pokémon egg before he passed. It hatched into a Fuecoco. Everyone loves him because he's just a goofy lil guy, he's always in a corner of the art room munching on some leftovers. When he evolves into Crocalor he starts making weird noises but apparently that's normal? So Q just lets it be although he is kinda worried at first—and then Skeledirge. Who not only can SING but also can shape fire into a MIC which okay, that IS pretty cool and Q gets it now. It's pretty fun to have a singing buddy if he does say so himself; if he ever gets sick and can't sing he can just let his big 300+ kg fire croc do the job. Nah, just kidding. Unless?
#my hobby is imagining Pokemon being pets and doing regular ass stuff#pokemon#we are the series#we are series#phumpeem#tanfang#chainpun#mickmatt#beerkluen#fai we are

First Valentines Day with Submas
Inspired by Mont Blanc by Leggerefiore
Ingo
he was nervous about it, he knows he wants to make the day enjoyable. He knows he has a lot of support to do so, and he has someone to share the holiday with! He should be excited, But there is a small problem.
He has absolutely no idea how to go about making Valentine’s Day special for you. Sure, he knew the beats. Chocolate, love, pink, hearts, but he wasn’t sure how to make it special. He liked you a lot and has always been rather open about it. What could he do to make sure you had an even more wonderful day? What’s more, it was the first Valentine’s Day as a couple. It had to be perfect.
So he planned.
He made a schedule, naturally, several different versions. He settled on A date involving your favorite spots in the city, followed by a lovely meal at your favorite restaurant.
He wrote down several ideas for gifts, which Elesa and Emmet verified to make sure it wasn’t too much or too expensive. (Several jewelry websites were put away)
This is about a month before valentines by the way. The bright side of this is that You’ll probably notice his awkwardness and nervousness and not connect it to the special day.
As the day stretches closer, he grows more confident of his choices, backed up by his closest friends and family.
The day comes!…and he forgot to schedule a day off. He crumples. The depot agents do their best, but with how busy the now pink station becomes with couples, they need the extra hands. He calls you to let you know.
Even then, he only manages to get the second half of the day off. He sighs, disappointed as he puts his things away in the locker and prepares to clock out.
Then he hears your voice.
It seems that you might have found the schedules he’d made, (possibly thanks to a few little helpers) and now you’re hoping to at least salvage the rest of today.
With the time saved, you were able to get to the restaurant on time for the reservation. Ingo, slightly exhausted, took your hand.
“I’m so sorry, my dear, I completely missed the station today,”
When you reassure him, he gives off a kitty smile. He chats about the day while dinner arrives, the problems, the cute moments he saw between couples that reminded him of You. At the time, it had made his heart hurt, but now, with you framed by soft candles? And he still had the gift on hand to give to you when you got back home.
This was special.
The next valentines would be just as wonderful too. No, even more so.
Emmet
For him, Valentine’s Day was simply just the day before discount chocolate day. He hadn’t really thought about how’d he celebrate it with you. He loves you every day, so what was the point?
Until he overhears a depot agent explain it to her child. That it’s a celebration of love, the bonds between others. The more Emmet thought about it, the more he realised maybe he did want to celebrate Valentines. He should celebrate this relationship with you. No, he needed to.
This is all during working hours, much to the depot agents’ confusions. Emmet seemed lost in thought for about two hours, then suddenly he’s writing at the speed of light, then pacing all over the place as if he had joltiks in his pants.
Ferris wheel, amusement park, a restaurant full of delicious things, gifts! gifts! gifts! He goes a bit nuts.
During this period his grin is especially wide. Especially around you, he pays attention to things you wanna do and things you’d like.
He wonders if he wants to go with the flow or if he wants a complete plan in order to ensure there were no bad surprises. It’s a tough decision. But it needs to be perfect. Eventually, he makes a compromise.
There are spaces for planned events and for surprises! He can’t wait to see the smiles on your face as you go-
Wait, oh, the restaurant is booked full? Alright, maybe-no, that’s booked too. And that. And that. And when did that chocolate box sell out??
Emmet was not prepared for how much valentines would mean to the citizens of Nimbasa.
He’s grumpy and huffy the week before Valentines. He’s also even more cuddly.
On the day itself, he’s calmed down, he got the day off to spend it with you. And by the trains of the world he will make it a good one!
You end up going to the nimbasa park using the train, saying hi to everyone there.
Emmet wraps an arm around you as the train begins to move. He chatters about the fiasco to you, and your reaction makes it worth the hassle.
That evening, he will present you with flowers, chocolate and more, but right now, he’s happy.
And planning for next Valentines. It will be perfect.

This seems like a perfect time for this ask: S/O, Inka and Emma playing with their spiders together. A little Joltik love fest. Cute kids and cute bugs!
cw: Emmet being a dad, fluff
Emmet was quite fond of gifting perfect IV arachnids to those in his life that he loved. Of course, that meant his spouse and children were unlikely to be without one. In fact, he went out of his way to breed a shiny one for you as a gift that acted more as a proposal gift than your engagement ring did. He staged up for many days, working to breed similarly for the girls. In the end, each of you had a Joltik that would probably cost a decent amount from any normal breeder.
Your daughters were instantly in love with the little electric bugs, proving furthermore that they were their father's children. Emma seemed more fond of using her Joltik as a pet, decorating it and cuddling with it more than battling with it. Inka, on the other hand, well, it became quite a scene seeing the girl challenge her father first thing after getting it and him destroying her in battle. She was not exactly happy with him, and neither were you. He insisted it was preparing her for real battles, though. You did not think so when she was crying into your shoulder about the loss. It did not destroy her urge to battle, though, if the calls from her school about bad recess etiquette were anything to go off.
You sighed as the sun shone down on the open field pleasantly. Emma was laid out on the blanket with her Joltik sitting on her head, almost like a decoration. It had a silken black ribbon tied around it and appeared like a piece of her outfit. She was staring at her phone with a bored expression. You guessed she was not much for a family outings. It was understandable, you supposed. Her sister was quite busy trying to defeat their father after all.
Inka stood opposed to her father, who only was using his Galvantula in a single battle against her. Despite using an unevolved pokemon, she was actually managing to keep him on his toes. It was strange seeing how similar their movements and attitudes were as they clashed. Poor Galvantula seemed mortified to be nearly defeated by one of her many younger siblings. Emma perked up at the sight, putting down her phone to watch the two with you.
Inka pointed forward as her Joltik bounced into the air to let out a strong electric attack. Galvantula took the hit and fell back, letting out a cry. Emmet stood mortified for a moment and stared at his now fainted pokemon. Calling back the poor thing into her pokeball, he turned his attention to Inka. You and Emma observed curiously as he planned his next move.
Inka let out a scream when he rushed over to pick her up, spinning the poor girl around while giggling. Emma gasped at your side and stumbled forward, clearly wanting to join in on the affection. As she approached and pulled on the end of his shirt, he stopped and picked her up too. You smiled at the sight of the two girls being spun around. Emmet could clearly support at least one hundred twenty pounds. He placed the down with one last laugh and crashed into the grass.
Both girls looked at each other.
“Emma, fight me,” Inka demanded, hands going to her hips as her Joltik hopped onto her shoulder. The older twin tilted her head in reply.
“No,” she said plainly. You could see Emmet frown in response. Emma was not too fond of battling with her Joltik. To her, it was a cute friend, not a battle companion. Inka whined, but you intervened.
“Why don't you two just play with your Joltiks?” you offered, placing a hand on Inka's shoulder, “Bonding is just as important as training. Your papa lets his Galvantula cling to him often.” Emmet nodded in support of your statement. The younger girl frowned but agreed. All four of you ended back on the blanket with food out. Inka easily fed her Joltik a battery, while Emma's squeaked nearby for its own. The older twin pulled out one from her father's pocket to feed hers, who squeaked again in contentment. Emmet observed them with a big grin. You sighed as your own whined for food, its purple eyes staring up at you desperately.
Your husband let out a giggle as he pulled out another battery to feed the little thing. It eagerly ate. The girls stared at your Joltik for a moment before Emma spoke. “Why is it purple?” she tilted her head, “It's… brighter than ours.” Emmet sighed. Breeding two shiny, perfect IV Joltiks for his daughters had proved too much, unfortunately.
“They're shiny,” you picked up the bug to show them. They observed it closely. Inka even dared a few pokes at the bug. When she rubbed its back, it let out a small purr-like sound, and she gasped. “Your dad got in trouble with the local governing bodies for breeding so many Joltiks to get them,” you explained. Emmet faked offence beside you. Elesa had been pretty angry about the sheer amount of Joltiks he had bred for your own to emerge.
They both turned to look at him. He just shrugged. “… They're like… another sister,” Inka chimed in, “Emma, they're your big sister. You have to do what they say.” The older twin glared at her younger counterpart. Her expression reminded you too much of Ingo's own towards Emmet. You could only laugh at their intense discussion about whether the Joltik counted as their sibling while you leaned your head on Emmet's shoulder. His arm came around your own as you both just enjoyed the sight of your children bickering and playing.

What pokemon would make up teams owned by the Characters in Star vs The Forced of Evil
I am back making my lists, and its time to do Star vs the forces of evil. So like my previous lists (TOH, GF, Amphibia) this show had a large cast. This show was also had a longer run time than any of them, 4 seasons, and who the important characters were depended on which season. This list contains my picks for Star, Marco, Ludo, and a handful of Star and Marco’s close friends. If you do not see your favorite character here, and have an idead as to a pokemon they would be a really good trainer for feel free to put them in the comments.
Star Butterfly
Star was a really easy one to make a team for. Most of her magic moves with her wand involved conjuring up animal based creatures, and I just transfered them over to pokemon.
Cetitan: Star’s trademark attack is her “Narwhale blast” and when looking up Narwhale pokemon (and double/triple checking I got a actual pokemon and not a fanmade one) this is the pokemon that came up for Narwhal pokemon.
Joltik: The smallest and (In my opinion) the most adorable of the spider pokemon, also packs a powerful shock. A near perfect representation of Star’s strongest spell: Spider with a top hat.
Yamper: a cute and playful little yellow dog pokemon with a heart symbol somewhere on its body. Its the closest I could find to the Laser puppies Star gifted the Diaz’s with on arrival.
Galarian Rapidash: Star had a love for Warnicorn’s, their speed, their furosity, and did not want an adult life were she had no time to ride and have fun with them. So I will give her a Rapidash. An Galarian rapidash because those fit Star’s style better and add a fairy type to her team.
Makuhita: Star does not always really on magic to fin a fight though, She also knows how to brawl/box. So I wanted to give her atleast one fighting type. I picked Makuhita while its a heavy hitter and a real tough pokemon its also got a very cute and tubby design; it looks like a Sumo pikachu. Like Star its adorable from a distance, threatening up close.
Nidoran girl: represents her bond of friendship/romantic with Marco. He has a boy one.
Marco Diaz
Solrock: Marco was originally going to be named Sol. He is also represented in that Prophatic image as the Sun right? Star is an actual star and Marc is the sun, they are together? Pretty sure I remember that. If Marco is represented by the sun n the show than it’s only fair I carry that over onto my team by giving him a solrock.
Lucario: Marco loves and does karate, so I picked a fighting type that’s method of fighting it more simlar to karate for him.
Shiny charizard: I really wanted to give him a dragon type to reresent his dragoncycle Nacho’s. The Original one I had picked out was another Fame made non offical pokemon (I have to be more careful of those). Of offical pokemon Charizards Shiney form. I think its still fair that this be his strongest. He did spend decades training and fighting with Nacho’s in Hekapoo’s dimension
Kirlia: a graceful and feminie pokemon to represent Marco’s super popular princess persona Princess Turdina. Also to give him a fairy type as well.
Nidoran boy: represents his bond of friendship/romance with Star. She has a girl one.
Ludo Avarius
Mimikyu: A fairy and dark pokemon that has issues with its appearence as well as mentality, and can also mess with the mental state of others. I am not sure if Ludo and Mimikyu would make each other better or worse, or worse than better (hopefully that one). But that they would be a very intresting and entertaining partnership of that I am sure.
So Ludo’s monster henchmen in season 1 were not the best as we can all agree (Sorry about that Buff Frog. We all know you did try). But in season 2 he had a pretty strong team, what with Bird, Spider, and those rats. To represnt them I will give him a Sparrow, an Aridos, and a Alalon Rattata.
Rufflet and Vullaby: These represent his brothers and sisters. The ones who after going through everything he did, he was able to go back and save from their awful parents.
I gave these three teams of six since they were arguably main characters. The rest of the list will be notable secondary characters, who will each get three.
Janna Ordonia
Haunter: Both it and Janna like to scare/prank people
Nickit: a theif pokemon that helps Janna swipe other peoples stuff
Klefki: It helps Janna break into places she is otherwise not allowed
Tom Lucitor
Scorbunny, Litleo, Fennekin.
I gave Tom each of these three for the same number of reasons. Firstly they are all fire types, and Tom is a fire demon. Secondly all of them are fuzzy and adorable, and in the show Part of Toms anger management therapy involves soothing himself by petting/playing with cute fuzzy animals. I could see eaxh of these three being part of his therapy (yes I did look up “fire bunny pokemon specfically to find one to represent Marshmellow) Lastly while they are in no threatening, cutesy, first forms now, they all evolve into very strong battlers. Once Tom got his own temper under enough control that he could handle pokemon battles he could do pretty well with these three.
Jackie Lynn Thomas
Chimecho: She has a very soothing appearence and personality. She also told Marco that one time she is into soft rock. So I gave her a soothing, soft toned, music pokemon
Baltoy: She also told him she was really into studying history. Baltoy may not be a fossile pokemon, but it is historic. In addition to that it has great balance to stay perpetually spinning in place like that. Jackie also has great balance on her skateboard
Vaporeon: So despite fans best efforts and theorising, the show creator never did reveal Jackie to secretly be a mermaid, who’s able to live on land becasue her shell necklace is actually a magical amulet that when worn exchanges her see tail for a pair of land legs. But it was a great theory, and she does give off very beachy, merlike, vibes. So idecided to give her a merlike water pokemon, that could travel both in water and on land. Also I had to exclude Vaporeon from my Gravity Falls list, and still really wanted to give it to someone cool.
Kelly.. Huh looks like she was about the only character to not get a last name. Wow. Okay just Kelly
Galatian Moewth, Mankey, Tangrowth
Like with Tom all three of Kelly’s Pokemon were ones I picked for the same reasons. Those reasons were that all three are tough, scrappy, pkemon; completely covered from head to toe in wild, untameable, hair.
Eclipsa Butterfly
I wasn’t gonna do Eclipsa at first, simply becasue I wanted to keep the secondary characters evenly split between earth and mewni characters. But she is like the third most iconic character in the show and I had to do her.
Spiritomb: You know dark types would be her favoite, and I feel like the more sinister lore with Spiritomb would really intrigue her and make her want one.
Honchkrow: eyes in the sky to replace he all seeing eye spell . They also have basically the same taste in hats, so there’s that.
Roserade: She says in the beganing of season 3 that she loves roses.
Oskar Greason
(why does he get a last name when Kelly didn’t?) Here let me throw Oskar in as well as Eclipsa to keep numbers more even.
Toxel: To represent his interest in playing music.
Furret: Because he has a pet ferret
Noibat: goes with his whole bad boy musician vibe, and with the added bonus that it would maybe be able to freak out his mom’s boyfriend whom he is implied to absolutely hate.

Hey, sorry if this is too specific or anything, but I was wondering, are you willing to write submas x reader headcannons with the reader being a grunt for one of the evil teams? (Preferably a Team Skull grunt because it would be funny, but I’d be fine with anything!)
Honestly, I don't think this one is all that great. I tried my best but god, mixing Team Skull with the Subway Bosses is like mixing oil and water. If it sucks, my bad.
Team Skull Grunt x Submas
As being a grunt for Team Skull is vastly different to a team like Rocket or Plasma, we’re going with Team Skull only for this request.
For one reason or another, Team Skull is in Unova, in the Gear Station to be specific. At least, you and a couple of your team members are. Being the usual Team Skull thug, you are loud, disrespectful, and worst of all, not abiding by the safety rules. After all, Team Skull doesn’t listen to anybody.
Ingo:
Usually he is as polite as he can be when dealing with unruly people in his subway, but the way you defy him pushes his buttons. There is a reason why the station has so many rules in place, and it’s to keep everyone safe!
Since you’re part of Team Skull, your instinct is to battle whoever tries to stop you.
Ingo absolutely does not want to battle on a train platform considering that is literally what the trains are meant to withstand, but you started the fight by throwing out a Salandit. Unfortunately for you, the battle doesn’t last long as Chandelure takes your Pokemon out in a single hit. You ran to your Salandit’s side and held the fainted Pokemon.
With just that single move, Ingo could tell you cared for your Pokemon. The last time he encountered a group was Team Plasma, and while they claimed to be fighting for the good of Pokemon, a few of them would treat their partners as tools.
Ingo would let his guard down just a bit seeing that you’re just a bit of a troublemaker.
If you come back to the station, he will probably keep an eye on you just to make sure you’re following the rules. He would probably invite you and your Pokemon to ride on the battle trains at one point, if you’re on your best behavior.
If any bigger threats come to the station and you stand against them, Ingo would greatly appreciate it. He understands that your Team Skull get-up is basically to make you appear tough.
The elder twin definitely understands that appearances aren’t everything. After a while of visiting the subway, he’ll recognize you less as a Team Skull grunt and more like an everyday Pokemon Trainer.
If you decide to stop associating with Team Skull, Ingo is one of the first to support you! He can even assist you in getting a job in Gear Station.
Essentially, Ingo’s first impression of you would be bad, but he can easily look past that as he gets to know you.
Just please. Remember there are reasons for rules in the first place.
Emmet:
If Emmet confronts you instead of Ingo, then may Arceus grant you strength. While Emmet is outwardly friendly looking, he is much stricter about rules than his older brother.
The younger twin is more action, less talk. He will quickly demand you cease your behavior, whatever it may be.
If you decide to battle him, he doesn’t hesitate to send out a Pokemon. Much like against Ingo however, you would lose quickly.
Emmet doesn’t have patience for this, and he tells you if you’re ever serious about battling him, ride the battle subway. Otherwise, leave.
You take offense at him insinuating that you weren’t battling seriously, and to prove him wrong, you return.
You fight on the subway so often that you and Emmet kind of become rivals.
You two bond over cute bug Pokemon though, especially Joltik. You inform him about the bug types that can be found in Alola while the two of you sit on one of the trains petting Emmet’s many Joltik.
You think you’re weak because you aren’t able to beat Emmet in a battle. People back home have probably told you that you’re never going to get anywhere in life, and your first encounter with the Subway Boss wasn’t friendly in the slightest.
Emmet is actually quite proud of you. You’ve become a better trainer, your Pokemon have improved greatly in battle, and the best part is that whenever someone talks you down, you only fight back stronger to prove them wrong.
Your fellow grunts are actually a bit afraid of Emmet. They think you’re either crazy, stupid, or both to hang out with him.
When Ingo goes missing, you’re one of the first Emmet goes to for help.

I want there to be a point where Sneasler and Galvantula are chit-chatting mother to mother about their kids and Sneasler talks about how nice its been since Ingo came to her and has been an immense help with her clutches while Galvantula just nods and says that without Emmet's help, she'd would've been extremely stressed out with her first one, never mind the rest.
Curiously Sneasler asks how many of her kids Emmet helped her raise, thinking it couldn't be that much more then her own broods combined, until Galvantula just nonchalantly says a ridiculous number like 5,873 (I know galvantulas aren't like real life spiders but lets just say they are for giggles and they lay a ridiculous amount of eggs in one clutch and Emmet has been breeding joltiks for a while).
Sneasler is just sitting there dumbfounded as Galvantula gushes on 'He can even tell all of them apart individually, I can't even do that on good days!' and 'And he's so careful with them when they hatch, if only Arceus sent you to us in the first place, you would have been in terrific hands my dear!' and so on.
Sneasler just looks at Emmet across the way, who is taking care of his electross while a small hoard of joltiks crawl all over him and just like, quietly whispers "...What the f**k?"
Ingo can be Cat Dad all he wants but Emmet is a seasoned Spider Papa!
Aww!!! I love this!! Yes! Though the egg count would not be that ridiculously high 🤣
Let put Gavantual at a max of like 30ish per clutch. Still allot for one pokemon to have in a clutch, but a lot not going to over take all of Unova in a few years lol
So if Gavantual has 3ish hatchlings a year then that roughly 100 joltiks a year, and if Emmet has been breeding Joltiks for let’s say 12 years, then he’s helped raise 1,200 joltiks. Still a startling number for Sneasler to hear but not a city wide infestation problem waiting to happen lol
But yes! Galvantula and Sneasler bonding over their kids and the twins will be so cute. Emmet adores Joltiks and looking after and being mindful of them is just second nature to him now. Ingo too, but he’s more of a spider uncle.
Also since I plan for their to be a shiny Sneasel in the clutch, that one ends up with lots of Joltik friends who had been confused by his coloring and thought he was an electric type at first. They climbed on to him expecting a snack and made a friend instead! 💜💛

sorry if this is simplistic or vague but the subway bosses dating someone who’s not really a trainer but does have a lot of pokemon? like your bf comes over to your house to see you and is immediately glomped by 7 pokemon. he has to sleep in your bed bc the spare rooms are filled w sleeping pokemon. he cant even cuddle you properly bc a gabite has curled up between you and a hoppip is using him as a pillow. there is a cutiefly living in his hat now
This is lowkey kinda cute.
-
-
🔲Ingo🔲
- he doesn’t mind that you aren’t a trainer. He battles almost all day anyways, so it’s a nice change of pace.
- You two probably even met because of your Pokémon.
- At a pokepark specifically, and your gabite made friends with his Haxorus and the two Pokémon didn’t want to leave the other.
- He found it adorable how much you apologized but offered to set up play dates for the two.
- And in turn you two got to know each other.
- You explained that you didn’t battle, you just liked Pokémon, and your particular bunch are your babies.
- Which he thought was so cute.
- Almost almost a year into this he finally asked you out on date.
- Months into that you had to warn him that no you weren’t kidding when you said you adopted many Pokémon.
- A few took some time to warm up to him but they all love him.
- Ingo is absolutely interested in your different region Pokémon, having lived in Unova all his life, he has never seen a cutiefly in person before.
- And melts everytime he wakes up to find it in his hat.
- He feels bad about having to wake the pot thing up though, but he has to go to work.
- “Boss? Why aren’t you wearing your hat.”
- “My partner’s cutiefly is asleep in it, and I’m legally not allowed to wake them up.”
- Your Pokémon take the guest room but he loves the excuse it gives him to sleep next to you.
- Your gabite loves him and always demands head pats and chin scratches.
- Hoppip isn’t allowed to use him as a pillow anymore cause he missed work cause of it.
- Ingo doesn’t like waking up your pokemon, he thinks they are too cute.
- He flinches the first few times your Pokémon charged him when he came home.
- But now he gets sad if they don’t.
🔳Emmet🔳
- while he is a little bummed out you don’t battle he instantly perks up with your love of Pokémon.
- You two probably met at a café during the lunch rush.
- There were no other seats aside from the one in front of you.
- And you look cute! And the cutiefly resting on the table eating its own lunch is just too cute to pass up!
- He introduced himself as he always does and asks if he can sit here since everything else was full.
- And you didn’t mind at all.
- You two fell into an easy conversation when he began asking about your Pokémon.
- And of course like any good pokeparent you had stories and pictures of all your kids.
- Oh and Emmet was so happy with this, thoroughly enjoying himself.
- Emmet gave you his number and asked if you’d like to meet up sometime!
- Before you two got serious you both made sure each Pokémon liked the other.
- Surprising literally no one both teams bonded well, aside from Emmet’s Durant, but the angry ant seemed to just tolerate everyone else.
- He does wrestle with your gabite about sleeping position.
- “I am Emmet! And I want cuddles! Ack-No not you!…wait gabite I’m sorry-“
- Your hoppip and cutiefly are his new work buddies along with his joltiks.
- Ingo is debating on putting a limit on this.
- Emmet welcomes the hoard of Pokémon coming at him with open arms.
- They are his kids! And they are happy to see him! And he also gets a welcome home kiss from you! Life is good.

Very shy reader who as an intense crush on Ingo or emmet headcannons, and how they would go about it?
Aww, why so shy <3
🍓🍓🍓
Ingo:
You work for the Gear Station as an assistant to Ingo and Emmet, helping them with paperwork and more menial things that can get forgotten in the hectic chaos of a subway. Ingo is very, very grateful for you, but you hardly speak to him unless it's about work. He tries to catch your eye, but you avoid his gaze and flush. He's worried he scares you
He brings you something whenever he or Emmet go somewhere, and you always look so surprised. You blush and smile at him with a small thank you. He finds himself bringing you things nearly every day just to see that smile.
He'll bring out his Pokémon as an attempt to bond with you. Watching you awe over and coo at his Pokémon makes his chest feel warm, and he's happy to tell you all about them, from cool facts to embarrassing stories. The Pokémon deal, since it's obvious their trainer has a crush
He asks you out when Emmet threatens to do it for him, asking if you want to go to dinner with him. You're shocked, hiding your blush and your eyes behind your hands, but you nod. Ingo blushes too, and shyly remarks he'd like to see more of your smile on the date, if he can. It doesn't help, but you're flattered nonetheless
Emmet:
Emmet notices immediately how shy you are around him, how you'll avoid his gaze and blush whenever you work up the nerve to speak. He works hard to remedy it. He talks to you constantly, whenever you challenge his line he tries to rope you into a discussion about your team, his, the Joltiks he's pulling out of his hat like he's a magician
You're endeared by the Pokémon, so he focuses on that. He'll join you in playing with them, show you how to interact with his own team, and watch fondly how you grin for their demands of affection
He wants to kiss your cute face whenever you blush. You'll bring him coffee sometimes, when challenging his line. He thanks you loudly and sits close to you as he drinks it, leaning against your arm. Your flush makes him want to throw himself at you, but he doesn't want to scare you off, so he keeps it in check.
He's surprisingly calm and serious when he confesses to you. He tells you about his feelings, how he likes spending time with you, and wants to take you on a date if you're interested. If not, he'll leave you alone, but he'd like to still be friends. You quietly agree to the date, then cover your face with your hands when he squeals. Sorry, but you're getting a hug. He's just too excited!
🍓🍓🍓
I like shy people. They always have the most interesting things to say, and in my experience, they're usually some of the nicest people I'll ever meet <3
Hope you enjoyed! Have a great day, love!
~Renee

more hcs for tdau:
Iris was an acquired Aspect. Ingo and Emmet we're overjoyed when they reunited with their Legendary Sister, Kyurem, and Iris accepted her as a bonding partner so that the two could become one.
Both twins are autistic. Emmet often goes nonverbal and gets stuck in talking / stutter loops. Ingo will over explain things to make sure nobody misinterprets his Belief. Both are very sensitive to layered sounds and too many smells.
Emmet cannot tell a lie (without it being painful). Ingo cannot say anything he does not believe in.
Ingo is aroace, Emmet is ace and panromantic. Iris is a lesbian. All three are trans because I'm trans and make the rules
Emmet has a fear of water (particularly the ocean) and heights. Ingo is afraid of being trapped in enclosed spaces (not necessarily claustrophobia though) as well as earthquakes. both are afraid of not being in control.
The pokemon league is sort of the main governmental system of the region, and they handle the politics of Aspects existing in general along with the world pokemon league. there is also extensive paperwork required for trainers intending to capture or fight alongside legendary pokemon.
Arceus is the only major legendary with no perminant Aspect. this is because they would have too much control as one individual - instead, they only take temporary hosts in times of great need.
Drayden had a wife who died when they were both younger. He was always sad that they never could have children. This is why he came praying to the Dragons to be granted a family
The twins can communicate with pokemon. Pokemon in Hisui usually leave Ingo alone, unless particularly filed with hubris. He likes the Paras because they remind him of Joltik (albeit only vaguely since he barely remembers what a Joltik is)
Electric pokemon love clustering on Ingo and Fire on Emmet. the Joltik especially. Sneasler can sense the Joltik Dad energy off of Ingo and saddles him with all of her kits immediately
food hcs:
Drayden parenting posts:
hcs about Drayden's parents:
about Drayden's wife:
Drayden, the twins, and Iris are the Drake family
Elesa's last name is Bolt and Skyla's is Gale. this could change though!!
Concerning the existing Drake from Hoenn:

Lucas and Dawn are twins. Sycamore is their father, by blood or by marriage I haven't decided yet. Joanna is still the mother!

Hiya Professor! I recently adopted the tiniest little joltik (the poor things mother had been driven away, bug types aren't very popular around here) and my sweet leavanny immediately took a shine to her and has been making her a fresh cocoon each morning. He has the best intentions, but I'm a bit worried that the type match up may be bad for my joltik in the long term. Have you had a similar issue before? I'd rather not separate them, they're too cute!! :)
Shouldn’t be a problem at all, Pokemon match ups are best made by personality, not typing. Those two sound like a great pair, they like each other a lot, and they share a great bond already. You have nothing to worry about they’re friends, and they know that they can harm each other, but they don’t. Pokemon are pretty civil when given the environment to do so, and as I’m sure you’ve seen, they behave well together. Match made in heaven.
No type matchup could stop friendship, I’ve seen it all folks, big Rhyperior with little sweet happiny friends. A whole gathering of arbok, all fawning over one little baby pidgey who had fallen from its nest. Yes I know, they would usually eat it, not this one. This pidgey had like, too much personality. They all loved it too much to eat it. Must have been 10 or so arbok all mothering this thing. Off topic. Friendship doesn’t pay attention to typing, to what you are, but to who are. They are fine, don’t worry, even if they all grow up and evolve, they will be friends, your team become a family, through thick and thin, it brings you all closer together.

Ghetsis Art and Antigravityshipping Headcannons! Plus a few things...
Sooo i made this a whike back and decided to share it! Ghetsis has always been one of my favorites- actually, he's second only to Maxie. And so i decided to share this. Nobody's gonna see it but here it is :)
A bit off tho
Antigravityshipping Headcannons
- Colress is perfectly comfortable with Ghetsis's autosexuality. Perfectly fine...
- Colress is alway cold. Ghetsis is always hot.
- I have a stupid AU where they got married and Maxie just appeared in their lives. If you see one of my other post you'll know what I'm talking about. It's cute but strange.
- They bond over being totally not normal. Colress has Panic Disorder, ADHD, Anxiety, and used to suffer from Anorexia. Colress has Paranoia, Anxiety, and Bipolar. They just sit and talk about that stuff sometimes. Anxiety hubbies 💛💚
- N feels abandoned and abused by Ghetsis but Colress actually will speak to him and give him little things he makes.
- Klinklang really likes Hydreigon
- Sometimes they fight, but at the end of the day they're just lovers.
- Colress would kill for Ghetsis
- Ghetsis would step on a baby Skitty for Colress
- Colress's joltik Jodie (read more in my first post) doesn't like Ghetsis too much because he either pets her too much or too little. But she really gets along with his Caterpie. (A male one named Silky)
- N doesn't approve of them but it doesn't matter since he doesn't really have much to do with them anymore.
- Ghetsis would be bottom if he wasn't auto-
- Colress is a Cuddle Idiot™
- Colress loves Maxie but Ghetsis would kill him if he layed a single gloved fingertip upon his beautiful blood red hair, (check out a recent post of mine for more info on that. It's hard to explain)
- Nobody understands how they work.
-----
Colress: *lightly brushes shoulders with Maxie*
Ghetsis, to the tune of i just can't wait to be king: Oh i just cant to beatcho aaaassss!

Alternate Next Gen (Main Cast): Cameron Citron
Cameron is the son of Clemont and Korrina. Cameron really likes Electric-type Pokemon and is currently gym leader, much like his father, Cameron likes to invent things but he’s more energetic and has more battling than he does inventing, thus making him better suited for the Lumiose city gym. While Cameron looks a lot like his father, he acts more like his mother, being friendly and hyperactive like his mother. Similar to his mom, he rollerskates or skateboard where ever he goes, finding both to be very enjoyable. Cameron doesn’t like to sit around, to keep moving which is one reason why he doesn’t invent things like Clemont, but he does help out when Clemont needs an extra hand with his inventions when he doesn’t have challengers to battle or if he isn’t training with his Pokemon. Cameron takes note of other gym leaders when they’re battling, as well as other trainers and will always find a way to counter whatever they may have for fighting his team of Pokemon. While Cameron is an Electric-type gym leader, he has some Pokemon that aren’t Electric-types that he uses, they allow it so long as those Pokemon have an Electric-type move and that he can still provide a challenge for his challengers. While he is friendly and hyperactive, when it comes to a battle he’s very serious and will not hesitate to go all out. Cameron is also very modest about himself, should anyone compliment him for how good of a gym leader he is, he’ll just blush and say that he wasn’t that good. He can be a little reckless at times but those don’t come up often, much to the relief of Clemont and Korrina. He gets along with his younger cousin Verna but he does get embarrassed by her trying to find him a girlfriend, much to Clemont’s and Bonnie’s amusement as it reminds them of when they were younger.
Cameron has a key stone fitted onto the right side of his glasses.
His Pokemon:
Ampharos- Ampharos was Cameron’s starter Pokemon back when she was a Mareep. As a Mareep, she would stick around Cameron and while she didn’t enjoy battling, she would still train with Cameron as well as keep him warm on cold nights by laying next to him. When she evolved into Flaaffy, she started taking her training more seriously up until her final evolution as an Ampharos. Now as an Ampharos, she’s fully okay with battling for her trainer so long as she can help him defend his badges. Ampharos was given her Ampharosite after evolving and became able to Mega Evolve and after a lot of training with Cameron, she had gotten used to mega evolving and will only Mega Evolve to give the challenegers a challenge so long as they have a strong team. Ampharos is very well behaved and mild, she also has a motherly side and will often watch over Cameron’s younger cousin Verna when Cameron is busy, much to Verna’s delight. When in battle, she’s very calm and will always battle at her best but she also knows that she’s a lot stronger than Cameron’s other Pokemon and knows that she’s reserved for trainers that have seven badges and she doesn’t mind not being in a battle, preferring to train until someone challenges the gym with seven badges. She’s seen outside of her Pokeball.
Caught in a Pokeball.
Ability is Static, changes to Mold Breaker when mega evolved.
Held Item is Ampharosite.
Moves are Thunderbolt, Cotton Spore, Electro Ball, Power Gem, Signal Beam, Dragon Pulse, Charge Beam, Electric Terrain, Discharge and Swift.
Jolteon- Jolteon was caught as an Eevee and after getting a Thunderstone at a shop, Carmeron had evolved Eevee into a Jolteon. Jolteon is very eager to battle and run around, he also has a lot of mood swings which made him difficult to train at first but Cameron found a way to get him to calm down and easier to train, which was giving him treats during training once he noticed how much Jolteon liked to eat. Jolteon is very fickle when it comes to being around anyone else and will often growl and sharpen the needles on his body to get someone to back off from him, he doesn’t do it to Cameron’s family as he trusts and likes them. Jolteon loves a good battle and is always happy to get into a battle with someone almost as strong as him or stronger than him, he’s also very proud of his speed and loves to use his speed to his advantage during a battle. He also loves being in the rain, even when he was an Eevee, no one could figure out why he enjoyed the rain so much but Cameron had him learn Rain Dance so he could use the rain to his advantage during a battle. Jolteon is mostly used for a challenger with six badges.
Caught in a Fast Ball.
Ability is Volt Absorb.
Moves are Rain Dance, Thunder, Thunder Fang, Weather Ball, Agility, Electro Ball, Double Team, Quick Attack, Double-Edge and Swift.
Shiny Manectric- Manectric was found in the Friend Safari, Cameron was surprised to see him as a shiny Pokemon and had caught him right then and there. Manectric didn’t mind getting caught, instead he was very happy to be caught by someone who has other Electric-type Pokemon for him to bond with. Manectric may look very serious when in actuality he’s very playful and acts like a puppy to Cameron and his family. He makes a switch during battle, going from a happy puppy to a protective Pokemon who will gladly take down anyone who tries to take over the gym. In Manectric’s mind, he sees gym challengers as people trying to take over his trainers gym and will always battle to protect the gym from challengers, not knowing that they’re only after the gym badge not the gym itself, the other Pokemon don’t correct him as they find what he thinks is going on to be kind of cute. Manectric is mostly used for a challenger with six badges.
Caught in a Quick Ball.
Ability is Lightning Rod.
Moves are Electro Ball, Electric Terrain, Roar, Scary Face, Thunder Fang, Ice Fang, Fire Fang, Thunderbolt, Rising Voltage and Spark.
Galvantula- Galvantula was caught by Cameron when he was a Joltik. Joltik always hated being the smallest team member, as such he started to train extra hard so he could evolve. His hard work paid off and he ended up evolving into a Galvantula, much to excitement and pride. Despite his looks, Galvantula is a gentle Pokemon who won’t attack anyone unless someone provkes him or if he’s sent out to battle, he doesn’t mind battling and finds it to be enjoyable. He takes great pride in his webbing and has no issue using them during battle or using in every day life so long as his trainer tells him it’s okay or appropriate to use them for whatever situation. He also enjoys resting by his trainer’s side when he isn’t battling or in his Net Ball, he also just enjoys resting when he’s with his teammates and the other Pokemon in the gym. Galvantula is mostly used for a challenger with six badges.
Caught in a Net Ball.
Ability is Compoundeyes.
Moves are Sticky Web, Electroweb, Electro Ball, Bug Buzz, Skitter Smack, Lunge, X-Scissor, Thunderbolt, Discharge and Leech Life.
Porygon2- Porygon2 was transferred to Cameron by a lab who thought that Cameron would be a good trainer for him. Porygon2 is a curious Pokemon who doesn’t do much aside from exploring his area and taking note of everything. While he was unsure about battling, he would still watch a gym battle take place for the sake of learning about it and getting used to it. Once he had understood how battling worked, he let himself be taken into training and put through the badge exam so he could be evaluated for how many badges a trainer has so he could battle against them. Porygon2 was still very nervous about his first battle but he was very happy when he was able to win against another Pokemon, he then became more open and confident about being a gym Pokemon and started enjoying Pokemon battles more than he thought he would, much to Cameron’s relief. Porygon2 prefers to be referred to as male and he’s allowed to battle challengers with four badges.
Given in a Pokeball.
Ability is Trace.
Moves are Zap Cannon, Lock-On, Conversion, Conversion2, Tri Attack, Thunderbolt, Ice Beam, Recover, Hyper Beam and Double-Edge.

God I want to see Guzma adopting Inka and Emmy. After spending is first 24 hours with them and looking like he was dragged backwards through hell and back he just turns to Reader like "you know, they're pretty tame compared to what I was like as a kid."
fjajfjsnd
Inka does have his "fuck you, dad!" energy and probably tires him out by demanding endless battles and running around the islands. Emma is just clinging to him and crying that Alola lacks cute dresses for her to wear.
At least Guz can bond with them over bug types. He gets to teach them how to take care of their Joltiks. (And deal with Emma refusing to ever evolve hers because she thinks they are too cute as they are.) But, overall, they probably aren't any worse than an average grunt can be.
Inka probably would adore Plumeria and attempt to imitate her, here, so there's someone who can probably rein her in lol.
Emma runs off and befriends Lillie probably or something lol.

Code Lyoko Pokemon AU
Jeremy is from the Johto region and specializes with electric and steel type Pokemon. His father was a Pokemon researcher and Jeremy wants to follow in his father's footsteps by traveling the world and discovering as many different types of Pokemon as possible. He starts his journey on a mission to collect data for the Pokemon Professors, which will hopefully benefit all of their research. His starter Pokemon, despite being from Johto, is a Beldum. When he was younger, he accompanied his father on a research trip to Hoenn when they encountered an injured Beldum. Jeremy had insisted they bring the wild Pokemon to the Pokemon center and was by its side the entire time. The Beldum had bonded with Jeremy and the two had become inseparable ever since.
Jeremy's complete Pokemon team includes his Beldum/Metang/Metagross, Magnemite/Magneton, Rotom, Porygon, Bronzor, and a Joltik/Galvantula.
Ulrich comes from Hoenn, and comes from a family of gym leaders. There's a lot of pressure on Ulrich to one day take over the gym and be Hoenn's master of fighting types. And of course, because of his family, he specializes with fighting types. His starter pokemon was a Torchic, a decision pushed upon him by his family because Torchic's evolutions are dual fire and fighting types. Ulrich, frustrated with the expectations set up for him, ran away from home to try his hand at becoming the Pokemon Champion. His thought process is that if he can accomplish something no one else in his family has, maybe they will back off and leave him alone. What he doesn't anticipate is that, if he did become the Pokemon Master, his family would pressure him to settle for nothing but the best and hold that position. The first person he meets on his journey is Odd, because he helped Odd out in a jam. Ever since then he hasn't been able to shake him, not that he really minds if he is being honest.
Ulrich's complete Pokemon team includes his Torchic/Combustion/Blaziken, Heracross, Croagunk/Toxicroak, Scraggy/Scrafty, a Rhyhorn/Rhydon, and Honedge/Doublade/Aegislash
Ulrich does catch other Pokemon that aren't fighting types at all like a Misdreavus, Spoink, and Houndour. But he tends to keep them in the PC box/safe with Professor Birch at his lab and only call on them when he needs them. Old habits with using only fighting types die really hard. Honedge is also a nod towards the sword and Ulrich's Lyoko weapon in the series.
Odd, on the other hand, unlike Ulrich and Jeremy, doesn't have any type preference whatsoever. He has more of an appearance aesthetic but even then he doesn't hold strictly to it. Odd came from a family of Pokemon lovers, and comes from Kalos. His family run a Pokemon Daycare and as such, Odd has a lot of hands on experience working with all types of Pokemon. His starter Pokemon was Fennekin, whom he loves to pet and is not too particular about keeping in their Pokeball at all times. Odd just wants to travel the globe with his Pokemon for the fun. He's not on any particular mission like Ulrich or Jeremy to accomplish a grander goal. He's just there for the ride and to make memories.
The first person Odd meets in the group is Ulrich. Odd had been rushing to the Pokemon Center with his Pokemon because of a really difficult battle he'd been in for fun. Who knew a Bonsley could pack such a punch right? At the time, Odd only had two Pokemon with him, and his Teddiursa had fainted in the previous battle. Fennekin wasn't exactly in tip top shape either but he ran into two biker goons who were trying to get him into a double battle he had no chance in winning in order to get into the Pokemon center. It was pure luck on his part that Ulrich showed up when he did, sending out his Torchic and Heracross to protect him. Ever since then, when they walked side by side into the Pokemon center, Odd had seen Ulrich as a friend for life and stuck by him ever since. And Odd is always repaying the favor, battling alongside Ulrich whenever needed in double or even triple battles. Odd was also the one who roped the both of them into Aelita and Jeremy's lives.
Odd's complete Pokemon team includes his Fennekin/Braixen/Delphox, Teddiursa/Ursaring, Magikarp/Gyarados, Eevee/Glaceon, Gligar/Gliscor, and Purrloin/Liepard
Odd has loads more Pokemon than this, such as a Meowth/Persian, Slakoth, Mime Jr., Taillow/Swellow, and a Pansage. He is also the only one to nickname all of his Pokemon. Fennekin is nicknamed Kiwi (because what else would his starter Pokemon be called even if they aren't a dog based Pokemon), Teddiursa is Lychee, Magikarp is Mango, Eevee is Avens, Gligar is Durian, and Purrloin is Aster. Most of these names are based on fruit and all of them are technically based on plants. Meowth is named Maple, Slakoth is Galen, Mime Jr. is Murphy, Taillow is Lula-Belle, and Pansage is Clover.
Delphox's ability to stare into the fire and see the fire is a nod towards Odd's old Future Vision ability and Glaceon's ability to freeze its fur and shoot it out like needles is a nod towards Odd's laser arrows. Odd, as a lover of animals, is destined to always have the most Pokemon. The Pokemon he does not carry with him are transfer to his home, where they are well loved by his family.
Yumi is the only one of the group who doesn't come from a family with a history with Pokemon. She grew up in Kanto, in Saffron City, and her family was not particularly attached to Pokemon. They didn't hate Pokemon, but they didn't really see the value of traveling with Pokemon and training with them. It was never really a desire of theirs. Yumi's starter Pokemon was an Abra, who she had found abandoned in the city. The Abra's previous owner had abandoned him because the only move the Pokemon knew was Teleport and was, in their view, impossible to train. Yumi had found the injured and scared Pokemon being harassed by a group of older kids who had Pokemon of their own. Despite being late for her martial arts lessons, Yumi had started to fight the older trainers with nothing but her fists and her martial arts skills. The trainers had laughed at her and beat her up, even having their Pokemon tackle her to try and scare her off. It hadn't worked and she fended off the three until they were fed up dealing with her. Yumi took the Abra with her to practice, hiding it in her bag and in the changing room because she was scared they'd come back. She also secret took the Abra home and hid it in her room. Of course, her parents found out that Yumi had brought a Pokemon home without their permission and they were mad. They were proud what she did, they raised her to protect anyone being treated poorly, but still angry. But they agreed that as long as Yumi took responsibility for the Abra, the Abra could stay.
Yumi's bond with her Abra was the reason she wanted to travel the world and become a Pokemon trainer. To be very honest, she's caught between wanting to compete as a Pokemon Champion or becoming a Pokemon Contest Coordinator. She finds a lot of joy in both, in the battling and in presenting the best sides of her Pokemon. She wants the world to see how beautiful they are even if her Pokemon don't follow that "cute and cuddly" mold people expect to see in Pokemon contests.
Yumi doesn't seem to specialize in any particular Pokemon type like her friends do, but she does favor psychic types a lot more than others. Her complete Pokemon team includes her Abra/Kadabra/Alakazam, Ghastly/Haunter/Gengar, Mankey/Primeape, Ralts/Kirlia/Gardevoir, Wobbuffet, and Shinx/Luxio/Luxray.
Because Alakazam's are able to use telekinesis, Yumi having one is a nod towards her telekinesis ability in Lyoko. And her Mankey is a nod to her own fighting prowess.
Aelita is also from Kalos, just like Odd, and specializes in Fairy Type Pokemon. Aelita's complete Pokemon team includes her starter, Dedenne, Snubbull/Granbull, Chikorita/Bayleaf/Meganium, Eevee/Silveon, Dratini/Dragonair/Dragonite, and Mantyke. She has Fairy types mainly because her Lyoko form is designed as an elf and can be considered part of a fairy tale aesthetic.
Aelita's parents were also Pokemon researchers, like Jeremy's, but her father got involved with the wrong type of people to put it very mildly. Aelita has connections to the newest evil organization, known as X.A.N.A., that was trying to take over the world and stealing everyone's Pokemon. And for some reason, they are out to get her specifically. She has no memories of the past, so she doesn't know anything about her connection to them, or that her family is working alongside them. Jeremy finds her being attacked by one of the goons in the middle of a really bad rainstorms and comes to her rescue. Because the storm was getting really bad, he had no choice but to bring her to the nearest Pokemon center. He stayed with her throughout the entire night, taking care of her Pokemon as well. During the storm, the power went out, and some of the goons returned to try and kidnap Aelita. Jeremy fended them off as best he could with his Beldum, and luckily it was at that moment that Ulrich and Odd came running out to see what all the commotion was. The commotion had awoken Aelita, who was utterly astounded by their bravery and kindness.
They hadn't been out of the woods yet though. Aelita explains to the boys that she had been with another trainer, who had helped her take care of her Dedenne back in the woods. She explained that they came into the town together, and that the other girl had promised to help her get to the police station to check if maybe someone had reported her missing. They'd been attacked by those goons and Yumi had told Aelita to run when it was becoming overwhelming, insisting on holding them off with her Abra and Ghastly. Aelita had run but one of the goons, the goon Jeremy rescued her from, had broken away and caught up to her. Aelita, worried about what had happened to Yumi, insists on going to search for her. The boys agree to help her and make a plan to let Aelita get captured so they can follow the goons in the hopes that the goons had apprehended Yumi and were only holding her hostage. Aelita had never been more relieved in her life to see that Yumi was okay, just bruised up a bit. And once all five of them are together, X.A.N.A.'s goons don't stand a chance against them. Like seriously, it's crazy how five kids who just met each other are able to take down a bunch of evil adults and their Pokemon. And seeing how much danger Aelita is in, none of them are really willing to leave her to her own devices and are genuinely curious about what X.A.N.A. is up to. Why do they need Aelita? What are they plotting?
And then there's William. William is from Sinnoh, and he's considered a dark type Pokemon specialist. His starter Pokemon was a Corphish, but when the group meet him, he has a Crawdaunt. Just like in the series, William has a thing for Yumi which irks Ulrich despite the fact that she doesn't reciprocate William's feelings. His persistence actually makes her a bit uncomfortable, which only gives her Pokemon more of a reason to not trust or like William. William ends up working willingly for X.A.N.A. (as opposed to being forced in the cartoon), and was trying to gain the groups trust so that he would be able to travel with them and secretly relay to X.A.N.A. where Aelita was at all times. He genuinely wants Yumi to join X.A.N.A. alongside him, because otherwise he has to destroy her and he doesn't want to do that. He'll happily destroy the others though.
His complete Pokemon team includes his Crawdaunt, Tentacool/Tentacruel, Spinarak/Ariados, Absol, Pawniard/Bisharp, and Tyrantrum. The Tentacool/Tentacruel is a nod towards the scyphozoa that XANA used in the series to gain control of William in the first place. The Spinarak/Ariados is another nod to the series and how he was afraid of spiders but, under XANA's influence would ride the Tarantula into battle. And the Pawniard/Bisharp is a nod to his sword in a similar way Honedge is to Ulrich.

Thanks in no small part to @icibue I just spent the last day crafting RWBY/Pokemon AU headcanons. Please keep in mind that this is 50% funny, 50% serious and 100% self-indulgent!
· Ozpin gives each new student an Eevee egg to hatch and train as part of their course work.
· All the schools give different particular pokemon, Ozpin is just very fond of Eevee because of how much it can ‘change’.
· Mythical and God-like pokes cannot be captured and instead ‘choose’ trainers. Being chosen by such a Pokemon is considered a very high honor but also puts that trainer at risk of being targeted by Salem.
· Xerneas and Yveltal take the place of the God of Light and God of Darkness.
· Celebi chose to be Oz’s partner centuries ago and is always the first to find him again after reincarnation.
· The Xiao-Long family have raised the Kommo-o line of Pokemon for generations and it is customary for a Jangmo-o to be their child’s first Pokemon.
· The Roses were known for raising Roselia and Roserade for show.
· The Honchkrows Ozpin and Qrow have are from the same clutch of eggs.
· Ozpin owns and cares for many pokemon but keeps two teams at the ready. One is a public team that is well known. The other is a private team that contains pokemon he has had through many lifetimes.
· Because of the presence of Pokemon on Remnant, the world is a little safer for everyday citizens, though Grimm ARE attracted to pokemon just like humans.
· The Huntsman Academies teach how to hunt Grimm and how to raise Pokemon.
· Beacon Academy focuses on living in harmony with Pokemon and working together with them. Using pokeballs is optional for Huntsmen who have demonstrated close bonds with their Pokemon.
· Atlas Academy focuses on Pokemon’s use in military tactics and has an extensive breeding program focused on breeding the strongest Pokemon. Pokemon are not allowed to be out of their pokeballs without military sanction.
· Haven and Mistral are well known for their Pokemon Contests and shows. Battling is taught at Haven but definitely takes a backseat to the ‘art’ of raising Pokemon.
· Since law and order is rare in Vacuo, almost anything goes. Having a strong team that can protect you and yours is what gets taught at Shade Academy. Since pokeballs are easily stolen they are very rarely used.
Now for Team Headcanons along with my personal reasoning for why I chose the teams I did. I was getting very tired towards the end of the team building, so I apologize if some teams aren’t as ‘fleshed-out’ as others.
STRQ
Summer Rose
1. Shiny Roserade – Obvious choice honestly
2. Alolan (Menagerie) Cubone – Summer having a poke that lost it’s poke-mom and human mom was too entertaining to not do.
3. Sylveon – Summer being the ‘heart’ of team STRQ
4. Blissey – Since Yang described Summer as ‘super mom’ having a pokemon described at ‘nurturing’ seemed fitting.
5. Gardevoir – The entire Gardevoir line is very sensitive to emotions and I headcanon Summer as being fairly bubbly.
6. Altaria – I didn’t have any super specific reasons for this one. Just seemed like a poke Summer would have ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Taiyang Xiao-Long
1. Jolteon – Jolteon fits Tai’s color scheme. Sue me.
2. Pangoro – A fighting type that doesn’t like it when the weak get picked on
3. Kommo-o – The only fighting dragon pokemon and it just so happens to fit Tai’s color scheme
4. Herdier – I mean, it’s obvious isn’t it?
5. Bewear – Another fighting bear but this one loves hugs
6. Drampa – A dragon that protects kids
Raven Branwen
1. Mandibuzz – Specifically said to hunt ‘weak’ prey
2. Salazzle – Rules over similar pokes and fits Ravens color scheme
3. Weavile – Hunting in small groups to take down larger prey sounds a lot like the Branwen tribe
4. Umbreon – The only Eeveeloution that fit ravens color scheme ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
5. Hydreigon – Brutal and destructive
6. Bisharp – Rules over packs of similar pokes and is called ‘pitiless’
Qrow Branwen
1. Honchkrow – Do you have to ask?
2. Absol – A pokemon said to bring misfortune/bad luck.
3. Umbreon – Fits Qrows aesthetic and the twins having the same Eeveeloution is funny to me.
4. Alolan Marowak – This is actually Summers Cubone evolved and I felt like Summer wouldn’t have brought a young untrained poke on a possibly deadly mission. Also seems fitting that Qrow would take to raising it since Tai would have his hands full raising his own team and the kids.
5. Staraptor – A loner birb that leaves its flock after growing up fits Qrow pretty fucking well.
6. Scrafty – A poke that comes off as rude and actually cares about its loved ones.
RWBY
Ruby Rose
1. Scyther – It has scythes for hands, what’s not to love?
2. Roselia – Wanting to keep Ruby’s family legacy going, Tai gives Ruby a Budew as her first Pokemon
3. Shiny Eevee – I mean silver Eevee… silver eyes… Also, it hasn’t evolved yet cause Ruby and Eevee are unsure of what they want it to be.
4. Rockruff – A pup that turns into a wolf, nuf said (it will probably turn into the midnight form…).
5. Electrike – A speedy boi that gives of showers of sparks as opposed to Ruby’s showers of petals
6. Zigzagoon – Another speedy boi
Weiss Schnee
1. Glaceon – Obvious is obvious
2. Alolan (Atlesian) Vulpix – Pretty snow fox for the pretty ice queen.
3. Dratini – Of course the rich kid would have something really rare
4. Furfrou – Fancy dog for the fancy girl
5. Brionne – A pretty poke that sings? 100% Weiss’s aesthetic.
6. Braixen – You can only have so much blue and white before you need a splash of color and a poke that uses a wand like how Weiss uses her weapon seemed fitting
Blake Belladonna
1. Litten – A cat that like to be solitary and doesn’t often display emotion… sounds like Blake to me!
2. Umbreon – Somehow Umbreon just fits for way too many people but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
3. Purrloin – Cute purple cat
4. Litwick – Blakes shadow clones kinda remind me of a ghosts sooo purple ghost poke?
5. Frogadier – Blake is a ninja. She absolutely needs a ninja Poke
6. Noibat – It’s purple and has great hearing ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Yang Xiao-Long
1. Jangmo-o – It’s a punchy dragon and fits her color scheme ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
2. Makuhita – Yellow, punchy, never gives up
3. Flareon – Yang’s hair literally lights on fire. I would be dumb to NOT give her Flareon
4. Combusken – I mean it’s fire, it’s fighting, and warn when hugged!
5. Rufflet – Ok SO Rufflet and it’s eventual evolution into Braviary fits Yang really well. Rufflet starts out feeling like it needs to prove itself and fighting everything it can (including it’s own parents). After evolving it still fights like a champ, but for more ‘noble’ reasons, aka to protect friends and loved ones.
6. Corphish – JuST hear me out on this one. Corphish are said to be REALLY hardy and able to survive in the worst conditions. They also like to fight a lot.
JNPR
Jaune Arc
1. Growlithe – Friendly and loyal ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
2. Eevee – His Eevee eventually becomes Sylveon because Jaune is a cinnamon roll
3. Buneary – Won the egg from cereal box tops
4. Riolu – Riolu and Lucario are described as loyal and having a very strong sense of justice
5. Honedge – This one has been in has family for a long time
6. Skarmory – Jaune only had a team of 5, but when Pyrrha died her Skarmory was the only survivor and Jaune took it upon himself to raise it.
Nora Valkyrie
1. Jolteon – What did you expect?
2. Rhyhorn – It has the lightning horn ability for obvious reasons
3. Flaaffy – Happy, fluffy, pink, and electric
4. Teddiursa – Cute, loves sweet things, and it’s evolution is a rage bear. Nuf said.
5. Munchlax – They both have bottomless stomachs
6. Woobat – If Nora’s heart cannons are anything to go by, she would love this Pokemon
Pyrrha Nikos
1. Magnemite – Polarity… Magnetism… Magnemite… I’m not very original
2. Eevee – Pyrrha’s Eevee would have become a Jolteon if she were still alive.
3. Skarmory – Steel types really are obvious choices.
4. Nosepass – It’s nose is literally magnetic
5. Victini – With all of the talk of Pyrrha being ‘fated’ for victory, it would be silly to not give her the pokemon that makes that true.
6. Buneary – Pyrrha ended up being given one of the Pumpkin Pete mascots
Lie Ren
1. Espeon – When I think of Ren I think of psychic pokes so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
2. Natu – Calm and cautious like Ren
3. Nincada – Only other ninja poke that isn’t Froakie
4. Espurr – Another calm psychic ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
5. Joltik – A cute little critter to remind him of Nora
6. Zorua – Can hide it’s self which is closeish to Ren’s semblance
Misc.
Ozpin – Public Team
1. Espeon – Espeon’s tail fork is said to be able to sense danger so it makes sense Oz would keep one around.
2. Klinklang – I mean, the gear aesthetic it obvious isn’t it?
3. Mimikyu – I headcanon that Oz can very easily see the worth in literally anyone so giving him a poke that thinks it can’t be loved was a no-brainer
4. Shedinja – Pokemon with no soul VS man with too much soul
5. Honchkrow – Oz having a ‘dark’ pokemon and people think he’s shady? No way! (also, I’m a shipper shhhh)
6. Ninetales – Of course Oz would have a stupidly long lived Pokemon
Ozpin – Personal Team
1. Celebi – Of course the one person who can be found in almost any time period ever would be chosen by the literal time travel Pokemon… Also, Green.
2. Dragonite – Dragonite’s are kind, altruistic, and long lived.
3. Magearna – Man-made poke that has a gear aesthetic ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
4. Metagross – Made from fusing two Metang together.
5. Aegislash – Despite Ozma being a ‘wizard’ he was also a ‘warrior’
6. Zoroark – Uses illusions and would even sacrifice its life to protect loved ones.
