thinking of a LeoAdo omegaverse/fated mates AU (●´ω`●) I think I ironed out the logistics
everyone assumes Adonis is an alpha bc he's tall and manly and he doesn't correct them bc it doesn't matter but he meets the livewire alpha Tsukinaga senpai while at Kaori because he's picking up Tsukasa to inflict torment on him ask for help with a new song and because they're fated mates, Adonis goes into heat right there ❤️ (club makeup being Tsukasa/Madara as alphas, Kohaku as a beta, Souma/Adonis as omegas)
the scene goes like. Leo is totally focused on harassing Tsukasa, makes a beeline for him to torment him, Adonis sees Leo, his jaw drops a little bit, and then a POOF cloud and sfx appears and his pheromones are unrestrained and out of control. Adonis appears unaffected but internally he's like "oh Tsukinaga senpai is so pretty IRL"
the others will just be like "wow how embarrassing, we'll just head out! take care Adonis! feel better soon!" and Kohaku stays to clean up the tea room while Souma makes an effort to help Adonis back to the dorm
Leo, on the other hand, is disoriented by the experience and also goes into rut ❤️ to which the others are like "what are u going thru puberty?? are you fucking 12??" and nobody connects the dots
they seek each other out eventually, drawn together by dreams and pheromones. Leo has a better idea of what's going on, being a romanticist and song writer, but Adonis is just feeling it all out. The rest of the romance is rather mundane and drawn out ❤️ like in all my other AUs and such they get married in their mid to late 20's, but Adonis does get marked soon after turning 20 (sorta by accident, a coinciding of their heat/rut while Leo is back in Japan for work)

Twister Headcanons Pt. 3
Family edition!
Tyler has a good relationship with his parents, but they live in Texas, so he only really sees them on holidays and a couple of times during the summer. He has three older sisters but only gets to see his oldest sister regularly since she also lives in Arkansas. The other two live in Texas near their parents, and Florida. The youngest two have kids, and they all think Tyler has the absolute coolest job in the world. He might not see them in person very often, but he never misses a chance to FaceTime with them.
Dani's parents disowned her after she came out to them. She doesn't talk to any of her biological family anymore, but Tyler started bringing her home with him for holidays as soon as he met her, and the kids all call her Aunt Dani. She cried the first time Tyler's mom hung up a stocking with her name on it at Christmas.
Boone's mom was a teenager when she had him and gave him up to the foster system as soon as he was born. He bounced around in the system and ended up finding her after he became an adult. They're friends, but he considers her more of a cool older cousin than a mom. He has several younger half-siblings, but they don't know Boone's relationship to them and just think he's Mommy's cool new friend.
Lily's parents are hippies and are totally down with their daughter's crazy job. They've guest-starred on the channel before, and Boone thinks they're the coolest people ever. She's an only child, and she's super close to her mom. They moved around a lot when she was little, so she doesn't have a lot of childhood friends that she still talks to.
Dexter's father passed away a few years ago and his mom is getting up there in age. She lives in Michigan with his older brother, and they've been discussing moving her into a home. There's a little bit of tension between Dexter and his brother because Dexter lives so far away and can't help much with their mom's day to day care.
I already talked about Javi's family in pt 2
Kate was the product of a one-night stand. She never met her dad, and it's always been just her and Cathy. When she was younger, she kept asking her mom for a sibling. Once Javi moved in next door, she decided he was close enough and quit asking.

STORY TIME: THAT ONE TIME I SAW A COMMUNITY THEATER PRODUCTION OF PHANTOM OF THE OPERA
Listen up kids: It’s time that you heard the story of when @dreaming-in-seams and I saw a community theater production of Phantom of the Opera.
This took place many years ago, when I was a senior in high school and my sister was getting ready to enter high school. The both of us were into choir, musical theater, and acting. We had done some community acting and music productions and participated in school plays and such. So we both had a lot of friends in our schools and town who were also into theater and music. Which is what led us to see a community theater production of Phantom of the Opera.
For those of you who may be unfamiliar with the concept of community theater, let me break it down for you: It’s not uncommon in America to have theaters and playhouses run by the community, usually hosted at recreation centers where people of all ages can take extracurricular classes and participate in community-led events. Plays are a big part of this. But since these plays are usually run by community volunteers, the entire cast is made up of volunteers. No one (maybe aside from the director and a couple other folks actually running the play) is paid. But the point is to give people (usually kids) the opportunity to try out something new, get a taste for theatrical performance, and maybe inspire them to pursue acting or to at least learn about it. You still have to audition for these plays, so it’s not a guarantee that everyone who wants to be in a play will be in a play. In our town, community theater productions for kids were usually divided up into age groups. Younger kids would be in shorter productions, sometime with a Certified Adult or two in the cast to help them out. Older kids (usually high school students) would be in more normal-length productions, taking on more difficult shows. However, since these plays are meant to teach kids about acting and help kids foster a love for acting, there are usually a LOT of parts so more kids can be involved in the show. Some kid will be cast as a lead, while someone else may appear for one scene and get two lines. But what matters is that these kids are learning something new and getting a new experience, right?
But remember: These productions are put on by the community on a near-completely voluntary basis. Which means that there’s a shoestring production budget. Costumes are usually made by the kids’ parents, donated by community members, or found in thrift stores. Any music involved in the show is usually played from a CD or (nowadays) directly streamed from online. Community theaters are NOT equipped with the same tech you get in a traditional professional theater. And the cast is made up of a bunch of kids who are doing this as an after-school activity.
Long story short: Community theater productions are usually cringe.
But that’s what makes them so darn endearing.
Anyway BACK TO PHANTOM.
So this production of Phantom of the Opera was based on the book, not Andrew Lloyd Webber’s famous musical (there’s absolutely no way anyone in our town would’ve had the money to purchase those rights), so that means no singing. And this version is written with community theater and a cast of high schoolers in mind. So some of the more messy bits of the story are downplayed, and a lot of tertiary characters appear so multiple kids can be part of the show.
My sister and I had a couple friends in this production, so we went to opening night in support of them. We had seen plenty of shows like this before and performed in shows like this (my sister was once one of the seven dwarfs in a production of Snow White and I the Sultan’s wife in a production of Aladdin), so we knew more or less what we were in for: Raggedy costumes, kids haltingly saying their lines, clunky scene transitions, probably a technical difficulty or two… but honestly, those aspects of community theater make it so endearing. We get to the theater (a tiny little space in the local rec center) and some of our music and acting buddies are in the audience! We go sit with them. They’re also here to see and support friends in the production. We talk and catch up before the show starts. Then the lights dim, some royalty-free creepy orchestral music crackles over the speakers, and the show starts.
One of my good friends at the time played Madame Giry (the head of the ballet), and she absolutely nailed it. Another friend played André (one of the opera house owners). Another friend played Raoul (we’ll get to him). At first, me, my sister, and our friends are being polite and supportive. There are some clunky lines, some prop and costume malfunctions, but all of that is to be expected in such a production.
But some people forgot lines. Some people missed their cues entirely. Some kids were acting their hearts out while others had NO CLUE what they were doing. My pals Madame Giry and André were killing it but me and my friends in the audience just started making this face 😬 as the show went on.
This was community theater unlike anything I had ever seen.
We start laughing. Not out loud, but we’re trying to keep it together and be good audience members. We’re whispering silly things to each other. We’re losing decorum and turning into bad audience members. But we rally and tough out the cringe on stage for our friends.
Then came Act II.
We get to the moment that, in the musical, would be the “Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again” moment. Christine, so torn and traumatized by the Phantom, visits her father’s grave to say one final goodbye. The actress playing Christine is kneeling onstage, facing a headstone clearly bought at a Spirit Halloween store, giving a heartfelt monologue about how she misses her father. She’s doing well and is in the moment. Behind her are some risers decorated with fake plants and more headstones that were clearly discount Halloween decorations. And on one riser, not at all obscured by a prop, sitting out in plain view for everyone to see… is a black box clearly labeled “Fog Machine.”
Here’s how the scene went down:
Christine: Oh Father. I miss you so much.
Fog Machine: *unearthly loud whirring noise as fog gushes out*
Christine: *completely drowned out by the fog machine*
Fog Machine: *stops noise*
Christine: - you said that you would send me the Angel of Music and -
Fog Machine: *unearthly loud whirring noise as fog gushes out*
Christine: *completely drowned out by noise and now completely hidden by fog on stage*
Fog Machine: *stops noise*
Christine: - and now there’s nothing left for me but -
Fog Machine: *unholy demon whirring noise and sputtering of fog*
Yeah, you get the idea.
At this point, me, my sister, and friends are stuffing our fists in our mouths to keep from laughing.
Eventually, Raoul comes to save Christine from the Phantom, who has shown up in the graveyard. Maybe some angry words were exchanged and a fight happened. I wouldn’t know because the fog machine was giving the performance of a lifetime.
Eventually, the scene ends and the stage goes dark as the scene transitions. During these scene transitions, usually some music played to keep the audience occupied while the set was changed in the dark.
For whatever reason, someone decided that this particular scene transition needed to have the Jaws theme play over the speakers.
So me and my little peanut gallery, already dying from stifled laughter, snort a lot and start “eating” each other like we’re at a Fourth of July beach party gone wrong.
But wait! The show’s now over yet!
We get to the climax: The Phantom has kidnapped Christine and Raoul and Meg Giry run to go save her.
Remember earlier how I said that a lot of these community plays will have a lot of random characters with only a couple of lines so that more kids can have a chance to be in the show and learn about acting?
If the fog machine wasn’t the star of the show, the Rat Catcher certainly was.
Raoul and Meg are going through the sewers under the opera house, looking for Christine (the set was just them in front of the drawn curtain on the stage). Suddenly they hear someone. They hide (behind the curtain). Out comes a high schooler in a lot of makeup to make him look like he’s been living in a Parisian sewer for the last 70 years and probably saw Valjean save Marius from the barricade. He’s covered with little rat plushies. COVERED. He creeps out on stage. His moment has come. His one line in the show. His Oscar-worthy scene. He’s milking this for all it’s worth. He stops on stage, awkwardly strokes a plush rat in his hand, looks at the audience and says in a creepy voice:
“I’m the Rat Catcher.”
And then he shuffles off stage.
No explanation.
No exposition.
Nothing.
And then Raoul and Meg emerge from their hiding place, also covered in plush rats, scream, frantically brush the rats off, and continue on their way to save Christine.
Who cares about pacing and suspense? EVERYONE NEEDS A PART IN THIS SHOW. GET A RAT CATCHER ON STAGE.
FINALLY, we make it to the final confrontation. Phantom threatens to kill Raoul unless Christine leaves with him. Raoul pleads for her freedom. However, unlike the ALW version, we don’t have a cool medley sung by a trio. Instead, Raoul and the Phantom start to brawl. Nothing crazy (this is community theater after all). But at one point, Raoul lunges to tackle the Phantom and the Phantom just sort of… sidestep dodges. Raoul, determined to do his own stunts and make them as cool as possible, dramatically tumbles across the stage, leaps up, stares at the Phantom…
And let’s out a Super Saiyan yell that would make any character in DragonBall Z turn green with envy.
High school boys. They say they’re not dramatic, but they are. And none as dramatic as this guy.
Once again, me and the peanut gallery are biting our tongues and covering our mouths to keep from laughing. Doesn’t help that we all know Raoul from school. I turn to the friend next to me and see the look of a man fighting with every fiber of his being for self-control. I see an opportunity and go for the kill.
I lean over and whisper in his ear, “Spartaaaaaaaa”
My friend chokes. His eyes go wide. He bites his lip. He punches me in the arm.
Worth it.
At last, the show ends. We all meet up with our cast friends in the lobby. They know what we did. They’re not entirely happy with us. We apologize because, yes, we were rude. We probably would’ve made Statler and Waldorf proud with our silent laughs and heckles. We should’ve been better audience members, especially for our friends.
But oh what a relief it was to exit the theater and relive the whole production and laugh the uproarious laughs we had been holding in for the better part of the last hour.
Long story short, go see community theater.
PS: During curtain call, we gave a special round of applause for the fog machine’s excellent performance. They were definitely the only paid actor.

Protective!Big Brother!Jeff x Little Brother!Liu (Platonic, go away proshippers)
Tumblr media
Jeff is only about 2 years older than Liu, but that's still old enough for Jeff to feel like he has to protect this little critter with his life
Jeff and Liu didn't have the best home life, so Jeff just kind of grew up being protective of Liu
And it only worsened as they got older
Elementary school wasn't terrible, there was the rogue nose picker who would try to call Liu names every once and a while because his clothes were too big on account of them being Jeff's hand me downs
But the second Jeff chased them around the playground screaming "Don't you ever say that to my brother!", they got the message
Liu himself didn't even really mind it, he thought the kid was just asking about why his clothes were so big, not making fun of him
But he appreciates it nonetheless
In middle school it got worse
In 6th-7th grade, Jeff got bullied pretty hard for being the weird kid no one wanted to be around, and Liu was bullied by association
Jeff got suspended a lot for beating up some kids who dared to try and say something about how "his brother acts like he's a whole other person named Sully sometimes, and that's just plain old weird"
Liu would get embarrassed by Jeff's antics, because he was basically proving their point by beating those kids up
He would try to just make his own friends and stay away from Jeff as best he could, but Jeff was just trying to look out for his little brother is all
in 8th grade, the "incident" happened, and Liu spend that whole year and most of his 9th grade year in the hospital
As he went from foster home to foster home, Liu was sure Jeff was dead like their parents
And due to his constant mental health struggles in association to the "incident", he didn't really go to school
He got schoolwork at home, but he was never reintroduced to other kids at an actual school building
However, it was hard to miss how the other foster kids that made fun of him always ended up beat up, just like how Jeff used to do
After being found by Slender man shortly after this, he and Jeff were reintroduced
At first, Liu couldn't be anywhere near Jeff without Sully fronting, which made their relationship even more strained if that was even possible
Jeff missed his little brother dearly, and felt terrible guilt for everything that had happened
But anyone that tried to say anything about Liu in the manor was always "delt with"
Even now in present day, their relationship is better and they can at least be around each other, Jeff is still way protective of him
If anyone even teases Liu, it's death glares all the way from Jeff

 Y/N - Unknown Time
Nobody really prepares you to kill someone. Not everyone will have a mentor that teaches you where to stab, where to shoot, where and how tight you need to push to crush a windpipe. But, sometimes you do get taught- unknowingly at least. You know skin is thin under a sharp knife, putting you much closer to vital organs than you would think. You know, at least, that you need air and blood to live- but, you also know you can take it. You can rid the body of its most vital necessities.
As Y/N stands over the lifeless body of her once guardian- her now very dead guardian- she realizes that nothing could’ve prepared her for how easy it was.
-
Kim Namjoon - Present Day
“There was a new case over the weekend Namjoon, we think you’d be great to be the first volunteer if you’d like.”
Zade hands Namjoon a manilla envelope over the lifted counter that looms over the ‘Resource’ front desk.
“I’ll take a look over it while I change. Would I need to do multiple stops today with the other kids on the list?” Namjoon tucks the envelope under his arm as he jots down his info into the volunteer sheet laid out for the day. A surprisingly long list of volunteer’s names gives him a little pep.
“We actually have more volunteers than necessary, so the foster homes are double stacked today. You just have this one as a priority if you’re up for it- oh and this one is a little…special. I mean- they all are, but this one isn’t as young as you’re used to, so the boss told me to tell you to really read it over and consider it.”
“Alright, thank you for letting me know. I’ll let you know in a bit.”
The locker room is just slightly warmer than usual, evidence that multiple bodies have been in and out of the small space far more frequently than normal.
He has no issue with it, if anything he’s excited to think of everyone getting the attention they need today, especially the younger kids that always look forward to young adults spending time with them. The foster homes have other kids, but the age range isn’t as large as one would hope in an adjusting environment. The young pups always need a variety of species and ages when they’re growing, especially when they don’t have a specified pack to normally grow with.
Namjoon feels extremely lucky to have as large of a pack as he does, love circulating within a seven member pack is truly limitless- growing his need to give back to others with care and time. Especially the little pups that are sadly without a pack. He’s never done any volunteer work with anyone older than 18, and even then, the ones over 15 were too busy working when they wanted to or going to school during the day- so the time spent together was minimal. The younger pups always get the most attention, especially because those are the cards the organization is dealt. When pups become of age, they can choose to further their education, with funding help, or they can work until they figure out what they want to do, also being provided resources to find hybrid-friendly employers. If this case is older than usual, he’s curious to see just what could be the reason.
Namjoon changes from his personal clothes into scent-less volunteer clothes. The simple t-shirt, jacket, and jeans allow for the homes to not be crowded with scents from a pack, but to allow the volunteer’s scent to be memorized and clear. He changes before he even decides on the case, knowing in his heart that if the case is in the organization’s hands they must need this adjustment and type of therapy in some type of way- making him the person that can help. He’ll always help when he has the chance.
The manilla envelope is sealed with the customary buttons and string wrapped around to keep the paper in and harder to access than a normal folder. The direction of the string confuses Namjoon only a couple of times before he finally gets the papers out.
Name: Y/N L/N    Sex: Female Age: 25     Birth Date: N/A
Blood Type: N/A    Breed: Cheetah
Immediate Reason for Admittance: Found resting under ‘Hope Bridge’ by a volunteer off-duty.
Known Background: Parents unknown - Family unknown - Home unknown - Reason for lack of living needs unknown.
Assigned Residence: Caddel Household - Maria Caddel, Richard Caddel - Under file for 4 months - 1450 Madison Lane, Tree County.
Notes: Made by Dr. Selena Castillo
‘Patient admitted without any resistance but shows signs of skittish behaviors. Patient seems to be unused to hybrid counterparts and interactions. Expedited tests still under review for any diagnosis / allergies, but immediate tests show no illness or disease. Slight chill and stuffy nose were only signs of sickness, specific medication given with no sign of allergy. No known vaccinations since birth, first round given to patient - 07/15/23 - day of admittance. Vaccinations may cause patience uncomfort and slight sickness as the adjustment period for vaccines is unknown for their body. Next vaccines needed after - 12/15/23. To be updated accordingly.’
Volunteers must be aware of body language of patient and person at all times - slow adjustment needed - report all incidents to the organization the day of.
Namjoon reads the paper over four or five times to get a really good grasp of who Y/N is, but nothing can prepare him thoroughly for this one- not even the notes know anything, no one has gotten any answers. He thinks of the work that he’s done previously, the pups he’s met and the difference in all of them but the basic underlyings that come with being a young hybrid. If Y/N is unused to hybrid counterparts, there is a chance that he can approach this with the same speed and attentive micro-expressions.
He thinks and thinks, but nothing in him points to ‘no’, so he stuffs the papers back into the envelope and locks his stuff away in his personal locker before heading to the front desk. Zade and his adorable bunny ears perk up as Namjoon walks back towards the desk- reminding Namjoon of his little bunny at home that he misses so much.
“So?” Zade asks, hopeful look in his eyes that also reminds him of his Jungkookie- it must be a bunny thing, because truly it is insane how similar they are in mannerisms.
“Of course I’ll go.” Namjoon gives with a smile, “Can I get some extra note papers? I’ll make sure to take a lot even if we don’t get to anything drastic today. There aren't too many behavior specifics so I’d like to add to them.”
Zade fishes some papers in the top drawer of a file cabinet without a question.
“Mila also wanted me to remind you to keep your phone on vibrate- they seem to have no knowledge of devices either, so sudden loud noises might be a trigger.”
“Of course boss, don’t worry. I’ll message you when I get to the residence.”
He loves this county. It was the main reason he decided to search and wait for a large enough home for his pack here. The name is spot on. A variety of large trees allow their branches and leaves to billow over home yards by fours and fives, allowing sun to peek through while still providing shade for cool leisure in the hot seasons. It smells perfectly no matter where you are. The lawns are plush and soft despite the variety of species growing. It’s perfect really. And he finds it quite nice that Y/N has a place like this to enjoy nature in times of need.
He passes his own street to get to the street where the residence is, a medium, dark blue house that has two trees in the front yard alone- the type has flaccid branches that seem to have dew drop leaves that rain down the branches and block the front of the house beautifully.
He wastes no time organizing his papers into the jockey box and changing both his personal phone and work phone to vibrate after sending a quick message to Zade. He grabs the paper bag of goodies he picked up before he made it to his destination then hurries out of his car.
The path to the front door is paved with an array of colorful rocks that also take Namjoon’s attention, admiring the details of the land. The off-white door had a glass pane design at the top, a bloomed flower.
He gives a few light knocks to let the owners know that the company outside their door isn’t just a rushed mail man or delivery driver. It doesn’t take long for a kind looking woman to open the door with a smile.
“Hello?”
“Hi, my name is Namjoon, I’m a volunteer with the hybrid re-homing organization. I’m here for the ‘recommended time with hybrid’ adjustment.” Namjoon gives his signature smile with dimples, his second ears twitching to make out the sounds coming from inside the home out of habit.
“Oh! Of course, I apologize, I wasn’t paying attention to the time. Come in, come in. There’s slippers for you right here.” Namjoon slips out of his simple dunks, noting the clean array of shoes and the clean foyer of the house. “Y/N’s just out back, she has been out there almost all times of the day since she got here.”
“It’s a beautiful neighborhood, I can see why. By the way, do you know what type of tree you have out front? They’re gorgeous.”
“Willows. Richard wants to cut them down because he hates cleaning up the leaves in Autumn, but I love them too much- plus it gets too hot and even he finds himself using their shade in the Summer.”
“I think keeping them would be lovely-” Namjoon finds the homeowner already heading towards sliding glass doors, “Mrs.Caddel-”
“Just Maria is fine, sweety.”
“Maria, I think it’s best that I start the meeting with those she’s familiar with, but once we get things going I’ll suggest verbally and obviously what my plans are, just so everything is clear for her and you guys. Is there anything I should be aware of before we head out? Like changes in behavior since she arrived, or triggers that you guys have noticed?”
“Oh, um not really, actually. She isn’t too talkative, she doesn’t initiate conversation easily at all and she’s not been reactive to anything specifically. She doesn’t like loud noises though, and doesn’t care to answer all questions. But, she’s friendly and considerate even if she doesn’t know it or acknowledge it for what it is. I think praise is great in those times.”
Namjoon is glad Y/N has someone so attentive to her unknown personality and needs.
“That’s perfect, thank you. We should be good to go then. If you can introduce me yourself that would be great.” Namjoon’s smile lights up at her assured nod and continuance to the sliding doors.
The backyard is a mirrored image of the front lawn but with more trees and a pretty, small garden that looks well-tended to. Even a large, above ground pool sits in the unshaded area of the yard, practically perfectly in the middle of the yard.
“Y/N?” Maria asks loud enough for the whole yard to hear, but not loud enough to startle her. “We have a guest if you’re up to meet them, sweety.”
Namjoon’s hearing can pinpoint in the yard where she’s at but he pays attention to the rest of the yard as not to look expectant for anything.
He looks at the specific shade of stain on the fence as he sees little golden ears and the top of a head of dark brown hair that peeks around one of the larger trees. The dark, long, curly hair cascades off her shoulder. Namjoon only lets the bare details reach his conscience from the corner of his eyes as she still seems to be assessing him.
“Ah, there she is.” Maria says with a smile as Y/N makes her way towards them at a leisurely pace. Namjoon still keeps his eyes on the horizon even if she’s at the perfect distance to assess. The only detail that he can point out at the moment is her gold and black tail, not waving or wrapped around herself in comfort, but dragging along the ground behind her as if she’s forgotten it. His heart clenches at the realization. She stops at a distance that seems cautious, but shows comfort with her guardian.
“Y/N, this is Namjoon, he’s with the re-homing organization.” Namjoon finally meets her eyes to find her gaze locked on his ears, then moves to roam his features without hesitance. “He’s a…I’m sorry dear, I didn’t get your species or breed.”
“Wolf, Alexander Archipelago, to be exact.”
“How precious, Namjoon meet Y/N.”
Her eyes finally meet his, but they don’t tell Namjoon anything about how she feels or what she thinks of him and his wolf. His smile grows at her curiosity, though.
“It’s very nice to meet you, Y/N. I’m sorry I didn’t know specifics- and I’m sorry to assume- but I brought some treats if you guys would prefer to sit down and talk?” Namjoon holds up the bag, giving it a little wave and his precious dimples for convincing.
Y/N meets Maria’s soft, asking gaze and nods once before heading for the picnic table on her own to plop down. Maria gives him a discreet smile before waving him on to join. Before he sits opposite to the two, he pulls out a 6-pack of individual lemonades, pre-cut watermelon, pineapple, and cucumbers.
“I tried for stuff that suits the weather and wouldn’t be too hard on the stomach. And- like I said- I didn’t want to assume, but one of the cheetahs I know loves watermelon, so I thought I’d try that at least.”
Namjoon looks at them as he speaks, noting the pick up Y/N seems to slightly show at the mention of the watermelon and then again at the mention of another cheetah. This is the best way he could think of introducing himself. He always acts as himself, open and chipper, but gifts are even better. They’re memorable, even if it’s just a breed’s favorite food, a soft blanket or slippers, or a toy for the pups.
Respectful comfort is also very important when in another person’s space. Showing that you open the things you got them to hand out and to talk in times of silence shows your want to be there and the excitement you have of being in their presence. Namjoon opens the bowls of finger food and even breaks the seals on the lemonades for convenience before setting them in front of them on the table.
“Thank you, Namjoon.” Maria points out after he finally sits and grabs a piece of pineapple to pop into his mouth.
“Of course, have as much as you’d like, it’s yours to keep if we don’t finish anything.”
Y/N - Present Day
He’s too kind. Too smiley. Too…perfect.
“Of course, have as much as you’d like…” She’s never seen anyone like him. Pretty and nice. It’s never both, but- here is the first wolf she’s ever seen with the most perfect smile and manners. To be fair, she can’t compare him to all hybrids- she’s never been around them before- at least, she doesn’t remember.
The opened watermelon takes her attention over the quiet talking between Maria and Namjoon. She truly doesn’t care about the conversation when it’s tempting her so badly. She’s extremely obvious, she knows it- but when Namjoon pushes the bowl discreetly towards her she can’t help but feel a bit embarrassed.
She takes a piece, nonetheless, sniffing the sweet aroma from the juice before popping the whole thing in her mouth at once. The taste is perfect, the piece is sweet, yet cold and crunchy. The juice explodes as she bites.
“Mmph-” The sound leaves her with no warning. She looks up from under her eyelashes at the new stranger, ears twitching to hear any change in his attitude upon bringing more attention to the sound. But- he doesn’t bring attention to it, only gives her another pretty smile and goes to take a drink of his lemonade. She’s never tried lemonade. She puts her attention on that, opening the bottle instead of daring to look at Namjoon’s exposed neck. She takes a small tentative sip, worried about how strong the citrusy smell is to her nose.
“Oh my god.”
“Good, right?” Namjoon asks suddenly. She looks up at him, her own expression in awe. She can only nod as she takes a greedy gulp. “These are my favorite, I keep a ton of packs in stock at home.” Home. She can’t help but suppress a shudder at the word despite the mood being good. She pushes through though- determined to give something back since he’s been so nice.
“I’ve never had lemonade before.” She gives just above a whisper, “I don’t like lemons, I didn’t know they could taste like this.” It wasn’t supposed to be funny, but she shocks a little when Namjoon giggles- actually giggles- at what she said.
“Yeah, I had that problem starting highschool, that was when I finally had a school lunch for the first time. Sadly, that was not as pleasant as this.” Maria laughs, but Y/N can only give a small smile because she doesn’t know if the food would be bad. She’s not that picky but she didn’t even get to go to school or have their lunches, so she can only imagine the type of food that Maria teaches her to make.
“Do you have more favorite foods?” Y/N asks quietly, curious, having to shove some curls out of her face to beat the sweat building on her forehead despite the love of the warmth. She shoves down the need to wipe the sweat just out of self-conscious habits. Everyone sweats, it’s hot- but, Namjoon looks perfect, and she somehow can’t get past that part.
“Mmm-” His face contorts to show another expression she has never seen, a thinking face that scrunches up cutely. She looks away again and pops some more watermelon pieces into her mouth just so she doesn’t have to think too much about it. “I’m more of a beverage person, but I’ll eat literally anything my hyung makes- he’s great at cooking. Do you have any preferences?”
Y/N barely has to think, the first word pulls itself out without warning.
“Watermelon.”
The prettiest smile she’s ever seen blooms on his face, one that hasn’t shown up yet. It’s the best one.
“Fair enough.”
The snacks go by quickly with small answers and more distraction-aimed looks that stray away from Namjoon and lock onto the table under her crossed arms. It isn’t like the other days when she just feels like an empty-promised burden- this silence is formed out of uncomfortable, new feelings.
Being this close to another hybrid- another prey hybrid that drives, has a job, and an education- is daunting. She feels like a foreigner to him in a way that can’t be described. Part of her wants to ask question after question while the other just wants to never see someone so perfect and put-together again to gain a semblance of pride.
Her name from Namoon’s lips pulls her out of the thoughts.
“Y/N, this yard is lovely, has great sun and shade- do you have a favorite spot?”
He’d like to see her spot? That thought makes her ears perk up, an exciting nod giving Namjoon the answer. She’d love to show him her spot- she doesn’t know what that tells about herself- but she knows Namjoon would understand to some extent why her spot means so much to her. Having Namjoon in her spot sounds nice as well.
“Could I see it? I’d love to see more of the yard.” It’s a hopeful smile, that much Y/N can tell. Nods are the only answer she can muster at this point, looking over at Maria to gauge her reaction.
“Go ahead sweety, I’ll clean up and get dinner started for Rich’.”
“Okay.”
That seemed to be the only queue everyone needed to disperse. Namjoon stands to let her lead the way with a small wave.
Her favorite spot isn’t special, now that she thinks about it. It’s not a cozy spot to everyone, but to her it’s perfect. That should be all that matters, but why is she questioning it so much?
The specific tree closes in on them faster than she was prepared, going around  it to stand on the side that faces the wooden fence. She turns to look at the tree and smiles- everytime she’s near it there is the slightest fuzzy feeling that she just can’t place. It’s larger than the width of their bodies together, wide enough for a whole other person of Namjoon’s muscly size to get close to the width of the tree. Its leaves create the perfect shade, but the best part is how climb-able it is. She usually climbs and perches perfectly into an indent that seems like it was made for her.
“It’s massive- you like to sit at the trunk?”
“No, uh-” She points up to the indent, a visible thing only to her mind.
“Ooh, yeah, despite me being a predator I am actually a horrid climber.”
The laugh rips from her before she can stop it. She slaps a hand over her mouth just over the fact that she really didn’t mean to laugh at him at what could be an insecurity. She looks over to him- nothing but an open-mouthed smile of disbelief.
“Look at you! Not all of us could be as nimble as the felines. There’s been more times than I can count that I had no problem going up, and even less problems coming down- at a very fast rate.” He laughs at himself, drawing even more giggles from Y/N.
“We can sit at the trunk if you’d like.” She offers, then backtracks, “Well- if you’d like to er- if you’re staying longer?” Namjoon sits halfway through her rambling, patting the grass next to him as he leans his back against the trunk to look up at the sun filtering through the leaves.
“I can stay as long as you’d like me to- or at latest until 6PM, that’s the limit for the volunteers.” Y/N sits as he answers, pulling her knees up to her chest to lay her cheek on when she asks another question.
“Do you volunteer often?”
“I try to do it five times a week, on the weekdays usually.” Namjoon closes his eyes to feel the breeze pick up.
“That’s- a lot.”
“I love it. A lot of the time it’s little pups that just need someone to really take the time to learn about them and be their friends. Every hybrid deserves a chance to have someone like that. I like to be there for them.”
She can only observe him in awe- his serene expression, the lightness in his aura that seems to want to push and push his calmness onto her. She doesn’t feel the way she felt when she first met Maria and Richard. She’s never met anyone and felt this- this instant connection of sorts that links them. Whether it’s because he’s the first hybrid she’s met, or he’s just that attractive, she can’t help feeling okay with him.
“Do you- do you know about me? About- about why I’m here?” He opens his eyes to look over at her, gauging her expression.
“Not exactly, not-” He positions himself to sit up straighter and keep his head level as he looks at her. “I don’t know your story, I don’t know what you struggle with or what exactly you would like to talk about or seek out. But, we’re transparent at the organization. We get notes from the doctors and suggestions for how to approach someone we’re meeting for the first time. But- honestly- you haven’t told your story yet, so- No, I don’t know you.”
His words sink in, letting Y/N think about what to do or say. She’s never had this before- but- she’s not ready to reveal everything, not now.
“Will you come back? Here. Even if you don’t know me.”
“I’d like to, If you want me to. That’s why I do this- to give every hybrid I can the chance to have someone that cares. Even in times of unknown.” Namjoon says, his open gaze not leaving hers.
“I have never met someone like us before- or, I don’t remember if I have.” She shifts uncomfortably under his gaze, looking up at the trees instead. “I want to learn about me, about us. I don’t know why I do certain things or have certain feelings. I don’t even know how to take care of myself properly and- and Maria, she tries, but she barely knows anything-” She stops. She can’t just ask him these things, she can’t beg for information if he doesn’t want to give it, especially if it’s personal. What if this is all too personal?
“You can ask me anything, Y/N.”
Namjoon answers her without getting any final question. He understands. Everything about him feels sincere. Everything feels as simple as the breeze with him. Why is it this easy with him?
“Then I’d like you to.”
Namjoon’s ears twitch to show he’s questioning what she means despite his expression not changing.
“I’d like you to come back.”
Namjoon’s thick, black tail thumps a few times into the soft, plush-feeling grass. For the first time she actually notices it, the black hair that is well groomed unlike her own. It moves with him, it’s a part of him, through and through. She doesn’t know the first part of being anything like him, a hybrid. All she knows is her human half- she wants to know more. She wants to be both, she doesn’t want to ache for the other part of her any longer.

Okay, so I’ve somehow fallen back into my eraser mic family addiction so here are some back stories that I’ve recently been theorising about and can’t let go of:
(Also I fully intend to make another post about specific Headcannons of how each of their dynamics with one and other work. This is pretty much entirely for my own enjoyment but hopefully other people will get something out of this too)
Yamaha Hizashi:
I’m pretty sure it’s canon that when mic was born he deafened both his mother and the midwife so I have a bit of a dark background headcanon for him based on this.
Basically, I think that mic’s mother tried really hard to raise him for a few years but I don’t think his dad was ever really in the picture (or if he was he left pretty early on) so it was just a newly deafened young women dealing with a bit of postpartum depression and a huge law suit from the doctor who delivered mic for his loss of hearing. She couldn’t work and was trying to get by on subsidy and disability checks until, eventually, she just couldn’t take it any more and handed him over to the state when he was about 3 or 4. He doesn’t remember much about his early years and luckily he was only in the system bouncing around different foster homes for a year or so until he got adopted by his moms who loved him so hard and taught him how to see the best in people. He has never once questioned their roles as his real parents and credits them with his becoming a hero for giving him the best life they could.
That being said, he grew up knowing the story behind him being placed in the system and never once held it against his birth mother either. When he was a teenager, she saw him in the UA sports festival and decided to reach out. Despite it feeling slightly awkward for hizashi at the start and his mother battling feelings of guilt when she first met him, they got past that and these days they meet up once or twice a month to check in on one another. Nowadays, mic just counts himself as really lucky to have not one, not two, but three moms in his life who all care about him and want to do what they can for him and his family.
As mic gets older, the early reckless use of his quirk as a crying kid and pre-support-gear-hero-wannabe starts catching up to him and he begins to loose his hearing. By the time he’s in UA he’s already considered hard of hearing and these days he can’t hear much of anything without hearing aids. Of course, Aizawa learned sign language at the same time hizashi did when he was first warned that he might go deaf one day and they’ve been teaching eri since she moved in with them. Hitoshi, however, already knew sign, as I will get into next.
Shinsou Hitoshi:
Soooo, we all know how fond this fandom is of giving Hitoshi the most tragic story ever and I’ve really struggled to break that cycle, so here we go.
I headcannon that Hitoshi’s mom died when he was very young, maybe even in child birth, and his father was absolutely heartbroken by this. He really did his best with Hitoshi but he was so much like the love of his life in so many ways that he could hardly look at him without wanting to sob. They had the same hair, eyes, smile - everything in Hitoshi was inherited from his mother and when his quirk manifested it was, once again, directly inherited from her.
I think, contrary to popular belief, Hitoshi’s dad didn’t see this as a curse. He loved his wife and everything about her, including her quirk, but it was just so painful for him to see it when he couldn’t see her. He turned to some less than healthy coping mechanism and, after a DUI, realised that he needed to get his life back on track if he was ever going to do right by his son.
He ended up relinquishing some of his custody to the state when Hitoshi was around 6 but retained visitation rights and would come and see Hitoshi every weekend, giving updates about his job search and making promises that he could come home soon. However, the visits gradually became fewer and further between until one day, after he had taken Hitoshi out for what he, at the time, considered the best day of his life, his social worker delivered the message that he had emigrated to US and wouldn’t be coming back. He left Hitoshi a letter apologising for not being a good enough man to take care of him and truly believing this was for the best. Hitoshi held onto that letter until he was 13 when, in a fit of rage after being fostered by the worst family yet, he tore it to pieces. Sometimes he still remembers the letter and cries that he doesn’t have it anymore because for the longest time it was the only evidence he had that someone had loved him. Nowadays though when he feels like this he knows he has three people waiting to prove that’s not the case anymore.
Since Hitoshi had been un-fosterable for the first couple of years in the group home, what with his dad still being in the picture, he basically wasted what are affectionately termed the “cute years” in the system, meaning that, as a preteen, he was pretty undesirable to potentially families. He bounced around different group homes and foster families that took in troubled youths since most people were scared of his quirk and didn’t take kindly to him trying to talk to them. He ended up learning sign language form a deaf kid in one of the homes he was in and used that to communicate to most adults so as not to scare them out of taking care of him to the point that it was put in his file that he had selective mutism.
When Hitoshi got into UA and started training with aizawa, aizawa noticed that Hitoshi was a little malnourished and seemed more skittish than the average teen ought to be. He took it upon himself to start taking him out for meals after their training and keeping a close eye on any signs or abuse or neglect in the future. By this point Hitoshi was living in a group home as it was the closest place to UA and, although there was no current abuse happening, Hitoshi had experienced some maltreatment in the past that made him cautious around authority figures and it was still all too easy for him to accidentally be neglected in such an anonymous home life.
Taking Hitoshi out for meals after training eventually turned into inviting him back to his house for meals which turned into quality family bonding for the entire erasermic clan. Eri starting calling Hitoshi ‘toshi-nii’ and asking where he was whenever aizawa came home alone after the first month, hizashi started insisting he stay the night whenever he was there past 6pm, and shouta subtly converted their home office into shinsous private bedroom by adding a fouton, removing one of the desks, and gradually clearing the bookcases so Hitoshi wouldn’t notice the added effort.
Pretty early on hizashi and shouta have a conversation about how much they both want Hitoshi to join their family but they’re equally scared of overwhelming him or putting pressure in him to say yes to them because they’re his teachers so they agree to wait for the right time. The right time eventually comes during a breakdown after Hitoshi has a nightmare when he’s staying over about his birth father. When he wakes up he goes looking for his letter before he remembers he doesn’t have it anymore and cries to erasermic that he’s all alone. It’s then that they tell him how much they want him to join their family. Cue the entire family ugly sobbing.
Aizawa Shouta:
I actually headcannon Aizawa as being the only one with a relatively trauma free upbringing. He’s just a grouch by choice.
He was, however, raised entirely by women. His dad left when he was about three so it’s been just him, his mom, and his two older sisters ever since. The oldest is 6 years older than him and the middle is 4 years older than him so he really is the baby of the family and they all treat him as such. He pretends to hate it but when they all show up for him after he gets banged up in hero work and fret over him he secretly loves the attention and it means the world to him every time they make a trip to see him.
His mother is an incredibly sarcastic women and it’s where he gets all his sass but she’s also very no nonsense and will put anyone in their place if they dare to talk bad about her family. His oldest sister is a lot like him but his middle is criminally similar to hizashi so they get along like a house on fire. That being said, everyone in his family adores hizashi and they had bets on when the two would finally confess their love for each other ever since shouta brought him and oboro over in their first year for a group project. (What they don’t know is that oboro was the one who snuck off downstairs that day and started the betting pool). When it come to eri and shinsou however, my god, ‘adore’ is not a big enough word. They would all die for those children and make sure to visit as often as possible.
Eri:
So we all kinda know eri’s history already so I’m just gonna talk about how she responded to each of her new family members.
So obviously she immediately latches onto Aizawa as her hero and Aizawa adores her. He is biologically incapable of ever saying no to her (not that she really asks for much) and spoils her rotten, so, within a few weeks of moving in she has a new everything in every color. But that much we know already so onto mic.
I think it takes her a while to get used to hizashi as she’s instinctively very cautious around new people so, as much as it breaks mics heart, he has to spend the first couple of weeks of eris adjustment period staying with nemuri and visiting every other day until she’s more comfortable around him. The change happens when they’re having a bonding day at home and eri takes a tumble and nearly falls down the stairs from the top of the landing. On instinct, mic gets between her and the stairs and pushes her back up to safety but ends up falling down the stairs in her place. Eri immediately runs down to check on him apologising profusely and is absolutely terrified of how he’s going to react but mic just immediately pulls her into a hug and starts asking if she’s okay saying he was terrified she might of been hurt and from that point on eri realised that this man would never hurt her and so when he goes to leave that night she asks him to stay instead and he’s never spent the night at nemuris since.
As we’ve already established, she very quickly accepts Hitoshi as her brother but the exact moment it happens isn’t as easily pinpointed as it is with mic. One day she was shy and reserved around him and the next she was choosing to sit closest to him over everyone else on movie nights. It was such a seemless transition that no one even really noticed (except Hitoshi of course who clocked the change immediately and had no idea what to do with the fact that this little angel wanted him as a brother and definitely went to bed and cried about it the first time she chose to sit with him instead of her dads).

ODDLY SPECiFiC RESiDENT EViL HEAD CANONS
characters i’ll include
jack krauser
leon kennedy
ada wong
albert wesker
luis sera
jill valentine
chris redfield
claire redfield
WARNING: childhood trauma/abuse, implied/referenced violence, mental health
JACK KRAUSER
she jack on my krauser till i major
transgender and mlm. no room for argument. it’s canon, i’m capcom
was the youngest of 3 brothers
grew up on the country side with traditional parents
his parents were physically abusive to both each other and the kids, meaning he grew up with out a healthy understanding of love. he doesn’t know how to express affection or love outside of violence because of this
ran away and joined the army at 18 and didn’t leave until operation javier. the army became a second home and he never learned how to function in society outside combat.
he hates that he’s gay and because of this he resents anyone he falls for (also partially because of how he communicates affection). liking boys not only insults his masculinity, but also makes him dysphoric, as he sees that aspect of himself as the remaining female side of him that he’ll never be able to get rid of
building off of the last bullet, this is why he’s so hard on leon. i’ll probably make another post diving deeper into their dynamic so i’ll leave it at that
he doesn’t listen to music often, but when he does it’s metal
LEON KENNEDY
he was the first protag i ever played as so i’m biased😞 ik i’m a basic fan i’m sorry gang
he’s more of a dog person and probably had one as a childhood pet, but has been scared of them ever since raccoon city
bisexual
was an amateur guitar player for some time but dropped it once becoming an agent
mamas boy
had a bit of chub before becoming an agent
older!leon has a dad bod & beer belly. i don’t make the rules it’s canon, trust
not even a ship really (maybe it is idk) but i feel like him and chris experimented with their sexuality together? idk take that how you will
i feel like he’s got facial or body dysmorphia and is extremely insecure about how he looks / talks, or at least used to be
bleaches his hair
building off the last bullet again, Leon was blonde when he was younger, but his hair gradually got darker as he grew up. eventually he started bleaching it because he didn’t want to have brown hair. his natural hair color from re2-re4 is dirty blonde. he stopped dying it as he got older
no matter how badly he wants a normal domestic life (to settle down, start a family, and give his kids the childhood he never had) he’s secretly terrified of the idea. he doesn’t know how to function outside of work, even when on vacation he can’t seem to relax
speaking of a domestic life, he’d name his kids some stupid shit like hunter or something
autistic. he has trouble decoding social cues (like when ashley jokes with him) and is fairly awkward. was definitely the “weird kid” in middle school
played hockey as a kid
i feel like he comes from somewhere cold, and because of that is fairly adapted to cooler temps but also can’t stand heat (like at all)
sleeps with a billion pillows
chronic gum chewer. it’s a comforting, absent minded movement that keeps him grounded on the job. i wanna say his favorite flavor is just regular bubble gum but maybe that’s just because i hate mint idk
has sensitive skin and eczema
ADA WONG
ada’s hard because she has no canon backstory or even personality really💔
has cherry blossom lip gloss and re-applies it religiously
has drop foot (i genuinely can’t think of any other reason she’d always been wearing high heels 😞)
mommy issues
was in and out of foster care her entire childhood only to end up back with her mom everytime
because she was so heavily neglected as a kid & basically raised herself, ada’s become extremely self sufficient and refuses to rely or depend on anyone
she has issues identifying her feelings and honestly doesn’t care enough to work through them. because of this she isn’t sure if she even likes leon at all. she can’t tell if she loves him or just finds him useful, ether way she wants him around/safe and she isn’t sure why
she smokes sometimes but hates it, so she only falls back on nicotine when doing horribly. she carries cigarettes around with her on missions
ALBERT WESKER
kitty meow meow
on the aro/ase spec
has autism, ASPD (psychopath), and a god complex (obviously)
sees himself as better than average people because he doesn’t experience sexual attraction (no hate to ppl who think otherwise, i just really can’t see him any sort of sexual context). he views sexuality as a weakness and looks down on it
mlm
i feel like him and chris have somewhat of a krauser/leon dynamic if that makes sense. he sees chris as an almost equal, but also as a threat because of it. he respects him to a degree. again, i’m probably going to make a post on them later so i’ll leave it at that
i haven’t finished 6 yet so correct me if this has been disproven in canon, but i like to think he had jake on purpose. while yes, he didn’t know about jake, i like to think he hooked up with ms muller with the goal of having a child. he probably deemed her as suitable, and had desirable traits that he wanted to carry on, but never knew she actually got pregnant
listens to classical music & maybe 80s as well?
not a head canon, but the band she wants revenge reminds me of him a lot
insane skincare routine
sensory issues & sensitive eyes because of uroboros (leads to overstimulation sometimes which makes him even more of a grumpy bitch)
loves flowers
doesn’t smoke often but when he does he prefers camels or marlboro blues (i don’t smoke (except for when i’m missing you) so idrk what i’m talking about)
LUiS SERA
inclusivity win! the scientist that helped make the tyrant actively chasing you down is gay!
mlm
grew up in a casually christian household & still holds onto some core ideologies, though in a more superstitious way than religious
holds onto a cross necklace from his childhood & prays when in tight situations
his parents smoked and that’s how he picked it up
speaking of, he’s extremely picky when it comes to what cigarettes he smokes. he prefers marlboro reds (again idfk what im talking about)
his jacket is custom tailored
he came from a poor household
probably wears eyeliner
has been to a gay bar
very physically affectionate & probably kisses people when drunk (platonically)
JiLL VALENTiNE
her name is jill sandwich!!!!!
lesbian. sorry i don’t make the rules. she’s gay. sorry chris & carlos
i mean just look at her she’s lesbian
has a little sister
can speak some french, though not too well due to lack of use
still has blonde hair from re6, but dyes it. (wesker absolutely killed the melanin in her skin and hair.) because she doesn’t have time to be constantly re-dying her hair so she has blonde streaks & roots.
has a cat
her favorite fruit is a pear. idk why she just seems the type
CHRiS REDFiELD
something about a boulder
bisexual
has been horribly down bad for jill for years (she sees him as a brother ;-( tough luck big guy)
was the stereotypical overprotective brother when him and claire were younger, always scaring the shit out of anyone she brought home
extremely good with dogs - actually considered being a dog trainer when he was younger
god knows that man RARELY does laundry - if at all. probably smells like a dog & uses 4 in 1 shampoo. stinky vermin
speaking of laundry, he probably wears swim trunks on the regular bc all his clothes are dirty
terrified of commitment
total adrenaline junkie with a savior complex (then again, doesn’t every resident evil protagonist?)
would be an amazing dad but is terrified of the idea of settling down. no matter how badly he wants to have a domestic life he doesn’t know how to adapt to it
has a german shepherd
can’t cook for the life of him; lives off microwaveable meals
literally the definition of “damn girl, you live like this???”
insanely high pain tolerance
CLAiRE REDFiELD
thinking about how she was 19 during raccoon city (making her you her than ashley was during re4)
dyes her hair auburn
bisexual
has probably punched at least one person for saying some stupid bigoted shit
she’s 100% messy, brash, and assertive, & i’m sick of pretending she’s not. she was raised by chris, the boulder punching fist for brains? no way is her room organized
has kissed jill before
her and chris used 2 do target practice in junk yards together & she once accidentally shot herself in the leg after shooting at metal
has always had crazy high pain tolerance, it runs in the family
because of her high pain tolerance she used to get hurt a lot on accident as a kid (doing stupid shit like messing around with fire or blades)
hates wearing her hair down

Do you have any headcanons for the less talked about characters? Like Duncan's friends, Old Man Edwards, John, Mary, and James? Also the fanfic you're working on about Tim having Benny make him food is so wholesome and sweet. (:
YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW EXCITED THIS MADE ME ACTUALLY. Love talking about the Wick gang 💪💪 (also yeah the fic about Tim n Benny... it's sweet but also a bit sad in some parts because, unfortunately, it's the Weaver kids we're talking about)
Duncan's friends: ➵ Friend 1, the teenage girl that was rather impatient with the others, is named Opal Huang. ➵ Friend 3, the teenage boy, is named Tony Green. ➵ Friend 4, the teenage girl that was nervous about the legend, is named Rose Quattro. ➵ As implied in game, Opal and Rose cut off their friendship with Duncan after Sam's disappearance. However, Tony remains friends with Duncan. ➵ Opal's a cat lover. ➵ Tony's biggest hobby is baking. ➵ Later as an adult, Opal moves out of Pine Creek.
Old Man Edwards: ➵ Born in 1915, he is one of the oldest locals. Knew Benny from when he was alive, and both went to summer camp together. ➵ While he's known as Old Man Edwards, of course, his first name is Kenneth. (Kenny and Benny, eh?) ➵ There was... tensions between the Edwards family and other people. For several reasons. Kenneth's uncle Robert was the one to report the smoke coming from the Weaver family's burning home, Kenneth's father believed Pastor McAlroy to be a sinner, and Robert would later be sentenced to prison in 1944 for the murders of two girls. ➵ As an adult, Kenneth would buy the Weaver property and make it private. He had history with the surrounding area and knew what would happen to ignorant people wandering around the place. Once bought, he lived nearby the property. ➵ During the course of his time there, he's sometimes gone inside the property for specific reasons. One such reason is cleaning the Weaver kids' graves whenever they're getting particularly messy.
John Weaver: ➵ Full name is John Laurence Weaver. ➵ Besides Mary and the kids, his family consisted of his father Lewis, mother Rachel, and older brother Gordon. Additionally, Gordon would have two daughters, Katherine (born 1907) and Lola (born 1911). ➵ Stern, but overall, a decent(ish?) father. ➵ His mental health worsened by a lot (for obvious reasons) after Tim and Tom's disappearance and Caleb's death. When Lillian disappeared as well, it was his breaking point, resulting in him doing what he did in the woodshed. He died only a few hours before the housefire started.
Mary Weaver: ➵ Full name is Mary Wilma Weaver. Maiden name is Foster. ➵ Besides John and the kids, her family consisted of her father George, mother Amanda, and twin sister Michelle. ➵ Tim and Tom aren't her and John's biological children. They're actually her nephews, taking them in after their mother (Michelle) died during childbirth. ➵ Started out as a decent mother, but... y'know already. She was a victim just as much as she was utterly horrible, becoming neglectful and emotionally abusive to her children. Sometimes even physically abusive on top of that. One particular way she did this, which was almost always directed at Benny, Caleb, or Tom, was to pull their hair. ➵ Has... complicated feelings about Pastor McAlroy. Positive and negative. ➵ As everyone in this fandom would know, she was Caleb's murderer. She also helped in Tim's murder, although she didn't intentionally kill him.
(ugh this guy) James McAlroy: ➵ Full name is James Marvin McAlroy. ➵ Tim and Tom's biological father. Hated them the moment they were born, using every excuse in the book to justify how he felt about their existence. ➵ His other family members include his parents, younger siblings, plus nieces and nephews. ➵ In 1924, he would be the one that killed Tim and afterward drop Tom down the well. Additionally, he would be the one that set fire to the Weaver family's home (resulting in Mary's death) and later kill Benny in his sleep. ➵ Would be attacked in the church and killed on Halloween 1926. (Rot in piss bozo.)

Some more of my reimagined Dark Forest alternate creepypasta timeline/AU characters’ headcannons.
#4: Liu Woodsman:
He is 1 year older than Jeff. He was blond as a 13-14 yr old, but as he grew up his hair either darkened to a brown color, or stayed blond but still darkened & got dirtier. He has the exact same haircut he’s worn since childhood, because he dislikes change & is a perfectionist, & also a little bit of a germophobe. Like his brother & Zero, I imagine he is Bi or Pan, but only when it comes to romance, seggsually speaking he is demisexual. He was married once to a woman named Rachel, & will never marry again, although dating & serious relationships are not off the table for him. He has tons & tons of scars where his stitches used to be. He lives in a shack on the beach somewhere, which he constantly cleans to keep the beach germs out of. He decided he never wanted to have kids, because he’s more responsible than Jeff & knows the kid will likely also inherit Veiss-Kestlerkunich Syndrome; Because of this, he was secretly glad Rachel had cancer & wnet through chemo at some point when she was a teenager(not because he wanted her to have had cancer per ce, but because she couldn’t have kids because of the chemotherapy). Rachel did likely save some of her eggs, but never asked Liu to start a family, since they were only married for 5 years, & she wanted to save up money first. If she had asked him for sperm or something, he would have lied & said HE was infertile, & insisted she use ANYONE else’s sperm for her kids. He was also a serial killer, like Jeff; He stalked the citizens of a small New England boardwalk town he ran away to after escaping the hospital, called Seaweed Hollow, & dumped their bodies into Sullivan’s Harbor, hince why he eventually became known as “The Sullivan’s Harbor Killer,” or just “Sully.” He has very little to no memories of what happened up to 48 hour before his parents’ deaths & his own critical wounding. When he kills, he is much more methodical & calm than his brother & tries to get rid of bodies cleanly. He also does things to avoid getting caught, for example using latex gloves & covering his hair with a hairnet, as well as crafting suprisingly convincing alibies. He has conflicting feelings about his brother; on 1 hand, he still has older-brother & parentified child instincts towards Jeff, but on the other, he dislikes how messy Jeff’s kills are & how he just doesn’t care if he gets caught or not, & he also sees Jeff as competition.
#5: JANE ARKEN:
Her birthname is Joan Witchhazel. She was less spoiled than most girls in the fancy, wealthier neighborhood Jeff’s family moved to after Peter Woodsman’s promotion, but was also more immature & childish. She could read people very well, but had a kinda blind spot for adults. She considers herself “plain,” but was probably just less decked-out in makeup than half her classroom(regardless of gender; some rich boys also wear makeup, although they would probably deny it.). She had a crush on Jeff as a kid, but it was short-lived, as he would ruin her entire life as soon as he got out of the hospital; After “the incident,” her crush on him fizzled out & was immediately replaced by near-infernal levels of hatred. Jeff also probably had a crush on her, but after he snapped at Billy’s party, it was replaced by cold apathy. As an 18-36 yr old adult, she wore a dress inspired by victorian women’s mourning clothing, mixed with a dominatrix-y getup. when dhe was in her late-30’s, however, she turned to religion to try to make sense of the workd after Jeff temporarily “got better,” from his medication trials, & joined a convent, which she would resign from after Jeff became insane again, redevoting her life to hunting Jeff down. She married an abusive man named Darryl to get away from a truly effed-up set of foster parents when she was only 17, had a daughter named Elizabeth with him & divorced him 9 years later, then married another man named Stanley, & had a second daughter named Danica(in memory of her deceased friends, Dani & Erica; Her middle name is Marcy). She actually liked him, but there was no spark whatsoever & she mostly just married him for stability for her kids. Suffice it to say, they didn’t really work.

Ninjago High School AU Housing
Sorry in advance for the long post 😅 the rooms were made with the app ‘Home Design 3D’.
In this AU I imagined that Kai and Nya’s parents went missing when they were a bit older. Roughly 10 and 8 maybe? They’ve been in foster care ever since. Except once Kai had turned 17 and they were allowed to move out by themselves with a scout coming by every so often to check how they’re doing. Their apartment is skinny and the roof is low. The siblings don’t spend much time there, preferring to roam the streets, work, or visit their friends in the afternoons. (The first photo is taken from the front door.)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Jay, I’ve mentioned maybe twice, lives in student housing. Basically it’s a program for kids from regional areas to come into the city for their education. The apartments are TINY. Smaller than Kai and Nya’s (although theirs is small). These apartments are specifically made to be student housing, so it’s two rooms (1 bath, 1 main), with the ‘bedroom’ curtained off to one side (I took the curtain out in the image). There are common areas in these buildings where everyone hangs out communally, (Jay was the life of the party), and there were regular cleaners for these spaces. The red door is the front door and is actually white. I just coloured it for ease of understanding.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Zane lives with his father and younger brother. They were conceived via IVF so they don’t know their mothers, and technically they are half siblings, but I digress. They live in a small house in the outer suburbs very close to the city. Zane had their own room. Dr Julien (I think I spelt it Julienne actually) was sad to see his eldest move out so early, but drops by the new shared apartment every so often to give them food. I think Zane would have a pretty minimal bedroom in terms of colour but they’d add some pops through decoration they can move whenever they feel.
Tumblr media
Cole lives with his father in a very spacious house for inner city. Lou is a very successful retired dancer (and minor millionare). Cole has his own room, and a view of their courtyard where his mother used to make rock sculptures. Lily actually carved some of these without her powers as she got weaker due to cancer. Cole’s bedroom is always super messy but I couldn’t convey that due to app limitations lol.
Tumblr media
And lastly, here is the floor plan for the new apartment: This isn’t immediately how it looks, I imagined this would be how it looked after a couple of years. Also they have seperate bedsheets but the bunk beds I used here couldn’t customise them separately. I do believe wholeheartedly though that someone *cough Nya cough* got bored one day and the others came home to her and Lloyd painting the doors fun colours.

I fleshed out Slava's backstory a bit more, and I'm finally posting about his sister now that I have up-to-date info for her. Her name is Zlata and she's around 4 years younger than Slava.
Slava and Zlata grew up with abusive (and homophobic) parents. The siblings had a good relationship with each other though, and Slava was protective of Zlata and tried to stand up for her.
When Slava was 15-16 years old, the parents caught him viewing gay romance, he admitted to being queer and then talked back to them during the ensuing argument, which severely angered them, and they legally gave him up to an orphanage. Zlata ended up there some time later as well. Some relatives were maybe interested in taking Zlata in, but not Slava, and the siblings refused to be separated, so neither was ultimately taken. Slava hoped he could find a stable job and earn enough to provide for both of them after he turned 18, but whether he could actually do that was far from certain.
However, they soon received help from an unexpected place.
When Lev was visiting their city, doing his typical work of helping people out, Slava got to talk to him one-on-one and asked for help, if there was anything he could do, since life in the orphanage was miserable and they hoped to leave. Lev originally intended to help them find adoptive or foster parents, but quickly realized how it would be very difficult (if not impossible), considering that they'd need to find someone who would be willing to take not one, but two kids, one of whom was also a teenager while the other was close to becoming one (older kids are less likely to get adopted).
Then he thought: maybe he could adopt them himself. This would be quite the responsibility, so he needed some time to think about it and plan on how he would provide them with everything they need. Once he was sure he could, he went through with the adoption, and they became his kids. They were overjoyed. After he adopted them, they also took his surname.
(To be clear, this wasn't the first time Lev had thought about having kids. He had considered eventually becoming a father even before this, and adoption was the more likely method for him. So while this is not how he expected it to happen, the idea of being a dad wasn't completely out of nowhere for him.)

Eight years ago I was placed back in foster care. I was separated from my biological brother because he stayed with our parents. Growing up him and I were extremely close, but shortly before I left he started to exhibit the same abusive behaviors towards me that our mom did. It was the only way he could escape her wrath. I use to resent him for abandoning me the way that he did, but as I got older I realized that he’s only a year older than me, he was just as much of a kid as I was. There was nothing he could have done. He did what he could to survive in a impossible situation. We attempted to reconnect several times over the years, but because he still lived with our parents it was difficult. He wouldn’t talk about the “elephant in the room.” I gave up on having a relationship with him because I realized that although I was able to talk about the hard things due to years of 24/7 therapy, he didn’t have that. He didn’t know how to talk about it because he hadn’t been able to safely process it all. DHS recently released my records to me, over 4,000 pages of documents from the first day I returned to the system. In those records are bits and piece of information about him. I knew that once I left that house our mom would start abusing him because I wasn’t there anymore, but I couldn’t save him because he wouldn’t tell the truth about what happened in that house. It turns out my caseworker and GAL also knew that he would become the “new me” and they made the decision to not pull him out. There are emails where they talked about, and agreed not to intervene. No matter how many times he ran away from home, they would not help him. They knew, and they chose to abandon him. About a month ago I reached out to him again and told him I wanted a relationship with him and asked him if that was something he would ever want. He told me it was, and a couple weeks later we met up for the first time in six years. We talked about the abuse that we both endured, and he expressed guilt and shame for not “standing up for me.” The same resentment I used to hold towards him, he feels towards himself. It breaks my heart to know that he blames himself for it, and we have been able to have several conversations about our childhood. I have and will continue to remind him and assure him that what happened was not his fault, and that I do not blame him for any of it. I pray that one day he will be able to forgive himself for what I have already forgiven him for. Being able to finally talk to the one person who knows every horrible thing I went through has been so healing and therapeutic. We have held each other and cried, and been angry at our mother together for what she did to us. I have dreamed of being able to have this relationship with my brother again, and although we lost each other for years, it’s almost like we never really lost each other. So much has happened in each of our lives since we were separated, but when I’m with him it’s like we’re still the same best friends we were when we were little. I am so grateful to have him back, and I am so proud of who he has become. We’re both adults now and we still have so much pain, but we made it out of that house and we’re okay now. We didn’t become the monster who raised us, instead we have become everything she told us we would never be.

Gotham Apartments
Hello! This is a very long post explaining a borrower Gotham AU with batfam, it's manly a cute idea I had with a bit of hurt/comfort. This post is long and if you have any questions or want anything elaborated on send them my way!
Btw not all of the batfam are in this as I have not found a proper way to add them yet, sorry in advance :(
Words- 4k
The Beginning Of Family
So in this world borrowers are really the only people who can have powers and they usually get these powers from very traumatic events (it's a 5/60 chance) and these powers can be passed down through the generations, Bruce is one of these people but his power manifested in a way where he can grow to the size of a human. He is now known as one of the few borrowers that are called "Size Shifters".
Bruce and his family were once in charge of a large colony that lived inside of an old abandoned movie theater; they ran a very large colony that surprisingly had lasted for two generations. Bruse was going to make it three but one day we'll they were helping new families move into the theater some humans broke in and ended up killing several borrowers, Bruce's parents being among them.
The humans not realizing what was actually running across the floor and thinking the building was infested with rats decided to set it on fire, Bruse was one of the few lucky people to escape and thankfully was found well his power started to manifest by a kind old man named Alfred who was one of the few humans that was trusted with knowing about the colony.
Alfred like to stop by the old theater removing what garbage he could and sometimes leaving supplies for the Borrowers as he believed they were a good luck charm, when he found Bruce he took the boy home and realizing he had grown to human size started getting what he needed to legally adopt the boy and make sure he wasn't put into the foster care system.
As Bruce got older and lived a human life well still working with borrowers he started to realize how few colonies really remained, they started to get destroyed left and right as the city they lived in tore down old buildings and replaced them with new ones that were almost impossible for borrowers to build inside of.
Bruce desperate to try and help save what little borrower population remained in Gotham.
Bought an old and run down apartment building that had three separate buildings, he started fixing the place up and making sure that there would be an easy way to make tunnels through the walls and there would be room for homes in them, Alfred happily helped his son believing it was a noble cause considering Bruse also planned on making the apartments accessible to lower income families.
Once they finished fixing up the first building Bruce had two separate apartments combined into one for him and Alfred to live in and started renting out the other spaces as he began work on the second building, then the borrower started coming in as the humans did.
Kids/Friends Introduction
Dick-
Bruce and Alfred had decided to go to a carnival that had stopped in Gotham hoping to have a nice day out but instead ended up spending half the day saving a group of Borrowers, they been living in secret with the circus but something had gone horribly wrong and the two people leading this group of borrowers had sadly passed away. These people being Dick's parents
They had been killed by a size shifter who was angry he wasn't in charge of the group letting the power get to his head and believing he was better than the other borrowers, Bruce left the man all alone to deal with the ringleader of the circus finding out about him and took Dick and what remained of his very small colony back home
Dick was obviously terrified of Bruce at first considering what had happened to his parents but Bruce proved he was trustworthy and eventually got Dick to be okay with Bruce adopting him, the members of the circus ring also stayed to help carve out tunnels in the walls and start creating homes in some of the finished apartment buildings
Dick originally wasn't allowed to help considering he was too young to be out of the walls for a borrower (there let out at age 12 and Dick was 9) but Bruce eventually let Dick start helping when he kept catching the kid sneaking out on his own anyway
Dick still lives in the apartment buildings but he now primarily lives in the second building so his father isn't too overwhelmed with taking care of the colony
He also helped get a few humans to help out, like his best friend Barbara
Barbara-
Barbara or Bab's was a young teenager when her and her father moved into the apartment building and she has lived there ever since even when she moved out of her father's house she just got a different apartment so she could stay with her friends, Bab's had never planned on making friends with tiny people that lived in the walls but she did and the idea of leaving that world never occurred to her
Her and Dick had met on a rainy day when Bab's was making her way home from school and saw a small animal trapped in an old glass jar that was slowly filling with water, Bab's couldn't leave the small bird to drown so she quickly rushed over and picked up the jar keeping it safe under the umbrella with her
She didn't realize she had actually saved a tiny person until she got home and carefully poured the small creature out onto her hand, Dick really didn't make the best first impression as he fucking bit her hand and insulted her (he called her glasses dumb)
So when he escaped into a tile in the bathroom floor Barbara was perfectly fine with this never wanted to see the rude little shit again, then she found him picking small tomatoes from the rooftop garden and cleaning the garden bed of any died leaves at the bottom
Barbara was now very curious and whenever she didn't have school would eat her lunch on the roof hoping to run into Dick, thankfully for her her new tiny friend was also curious and with every now and again meet her there sometimes revealing what he was doing or being the most cryptic little shit in the world
Barbara didn't mind tho it was nice to have someone to talk to who was roughly her age and didn't call her lame or nerd for being so focused on her studies
Then as Barbara gained Dick's trust she got to meet his little brother, Jason
Jason-
Jason had been all alone before he was found by Bruse, it had sadly become common for young borrowers who weren't even ready to leave their home to end up living on the streets completely alone traveling around without any help
That's how Bruse found Jason, hanging upside down from his cabinet and crying his eyes out from how terrified he was. Dick was over thankfully and helped Bruce calm the kid down to where they could have a proper conversation
Bruse had a system in place for young borrowers with no families to stay with or be adopted into but Jason was completely against the idea, he wanted to stay independent and take care of himself
Dick and Bruse obviously hated this idea considering how they found the kid but knew forcing him to stay wouldn't be a good idea either, so Alfred thankfully swooped in and got the kid to agree to a little arrangement
"If you're so capable of taking care of yourself how about we make a little deal? You stay in this house borrowing from us for an entire week and if you succeed in not being seen or caught you can leave and will give you any supplies you want, but if you fail you have to stay with us until you perfect your borrowing."
Jason finding the old man very comforting agreed to the deal and did his best to not get found once by Bruse or Alfred, sadly for Jason Alfred had spent years raising a borrower and could always figure out which nook or cranny they were hiding in
So Jason lost but by the end of the week he had grown attached to everyone in the house and didn't really mind staying to learn how to properly borrow from them, Dick was the one that helped teach him how to be better at his balancing well Bruse taught him how to more properly use his gear. Jason was happy here and even after perfecting his borrowing skills chose to stay with his family
Especially after he met Barbara. The human girl was extremely kind and had even started to teach Jason (and Dick) how to read human,
Jason started devouring books whenever he got the chance and absolutely loved reading. Bruse even started helping his son out by translating some of his favorite books into more properly sized borrower ones so he could more easily read them (he had to write all of them out by hand btw)
So when Barbara made the mistake of revealing she worked at a library part-time Jason would constantly go to her only to ask her to check out a new book he heard about, she had to put a limit on how many books he could ask for so she didn't end up carrying half of the library home (his limit was 6)
Jason lived with his family happily for years until a new creepy resident moved in, Bruse told his sons to stay away from that apartment as that man was only going to be staying here for at least a month and then he was going to kick him out
But Jason was curious. Too curious for his own good.
That's how Dick and Bruse discovered Jason had a regeneration power and how Bruse almost murdered a man, Joker was just a crazy guy who enjoyed manipulating and hurting people whenever he got the chance. Why wouldn't he do the same to a small child big enough to fit in his hand?
Thankfully after the scare Bruce gave him he never came back and everyone hoped he never got his hands on another borrower again, Jason wasn't okay after the incident though and barely would hang out with Barbara nowadays or go anywhere near Alfred or Bruce when he was human size
Jason just wanted to be alone...sadly for him he was going to be pulled into a rescue mission to save some kid named Tim
Tim-
Tim had been born a size shifter, he had inherited the powers from his mother and as the years went by learned how to properly use them
Even after Tim lost his mother he still practice and learned how to use his powers for one particular goal, to be allowed to go to public school
Jack was a good father (even if he wasn't around a lot) and like all fathers worried for his son, so when Tim was 5 and developed his size changing powers he was tutored from home. Jack wouldn't take any risk of losing his son just because of some powers he had been born with.
Tim didn't mind for a couple of years but as he got old enough to go into Middle School he started to long to be anywhere then his home and see the world more properly, so Jack and Tim made a deal that Tim knew he could accomplish
Tim had to successfully keep his stepmother from ever finding out about his powers until his fathers and stepmother's second anniversary, Tim could do this! Tim was going to succeed and get to go to public schools!
Sadly tragedy struck again and Tim lost another mother, but Jack head lightened up on his rules a bit and Tim was now allowed to walk out alone and didn't even need to take his dog Putgoo with him
And on this walk where he just wanted to get some chips from a nearby gas station he saw borrowers, they were obviously moving trying to get somewhere safe and struggling considering it had started to rain. Without much thought Tim walked over and held his umbrella over them, his mother said to always be kind to Borrowers but she had never really taught him on why borrowers didn't like humans
So they ran, even when Tim shrunk down to their size it was like they ran faster...but one
His name was Bert and he was a kid like Tim, he actually talked with Tim for a few hours well they both hid under his umbrella that rested on the concrete well Tim was small
Bert want home with Tim and became the first borrower Tim ever befriended,
Jack never properly got introduced to Bert and their first meeting was just watching a small and extremely fast borrower run across his floor.
Jack didn't mind that there was a borrower in the house, his first wife was one but he slowly started to become concerned. He didn't share any of these concerns with Tim once he noticed how happy his son was and once it was time for Tim to start his first year of high school he made sure his son was ready for it.
Tim didn't let Bert come with him and had to buy several snacks before returning home just to make up for the 'betrayal' but besides that he had a very fun first day, he even made friends with a kind human girl named Stephanie
Tim loved school, he loved how many people were there, have something was always going on, and how he wasn't all alone in a room anymore
So when he and his father had to move Jack make sure they stayed close by the school so Tim wouldn't get transferred, Bert tried convincing him to go into the walls with him many times and sometimes succeeded- but this time was different
Bert was positive there was a colony here and Tim was scared to meet so many people at once, at school it was easy because it was something he had been looking forward to for years but...
Not many borrowers liked size shifters or other borrowers who had gained special powers, Bert and Tim constantly learned this the hard way but Bert always stayed determined to find people who would accept them for them
So when Bert came back and said the colony that lived here had been created by a size shifter Tim became genuinely hopeful and agreed after school on Friday he would go into the walls with Bert, his father wouldn't be home and would be gone until Monday so they would have plenty of time to explore the walls and check out this colony
Tim loved how kind everyone was to him and Bert when they first got there and how everyone kept offering them free things,
Tim also got to learn that day that most borrowers used a bartering system instead of money. Bert said it was easier because everyone was able to borrow different things so someone always had something you wanted and something you could trade for it
Tim started to wonder what he could possibly bring with him to trade with the merchants here and Bert simply enjoyed the borrower food that was being handed out, for two months Tim and Bert would go into the walls and spend time within the colony
They made sure not to get attached to anyone and Tim made sure everyone believed them about their fake borrower parents and that they didn't need to be put into the orphanage here, then Jack found out
Tim didn't understand why his father was so angry and concerned he was hanging out with Borrowers, it was a part of himself he had never really gotten to express or look into and as his father just got more scared and angry he started to realize what the problem really was
Jack was scared Tim would choose borrowers over him.
He wouldn't he would never do that to his father- but Jack didn't believe that and like most humans do when they are scared acted on impulse
Tim had shrunk long ago into the argument feeling extremely guilty for upsetting his father and scaring him so much that he would be abandoned, so Jack had an easy time snatching him up and dropping him into a jar
He didn't seal the top of the jar with a lid, he simply put it into one of the cabinets and sealed the door by putting a rubber band around the handles
Bert saw this go down and instantly figured out what to do, he had heard about a group of people who were trained in helping save borrowers who have been captured in the apartments so he found one of them and got to come and help save Tim
As Bert and Jason desperately tried to free the cabinet handles from having a rubber band wrapped around them the door to the house swung open and a blonde hair girl came in
Bert instantly recognized the girl and called Stephanie over for help, she came to them and instantly removed the rubber band and got Tim free from the jar
Bert told Stephanie to get some of Tim's things and take them back to her home well they got Tim to safety, today was going to be a long day but thankfully they now have Stephanie helping them
Stephanie-
Steph didn't expect to get pulled into a world of tiny people but she did and it was 90% Tim's fault, she was so happy she chose to be friends with the kid when she spotted him eating lunch all alone at school
Steph and Tim became pretty inseparable after their first week of being friends and halfway through the school year she got to hang out at his house meeting Bert. She had noticed some of the snack she was eating disappearing randomly but only when the fan that was cooling her off blew in her face, so she turned the fan off and waited until she saw something small and fast run by grabbing another one of her snacks- Tim had to do a lot of explaining to Steph and she decided to forgive Bert for stealing her food
On the condition he wore one of the stupidest Barbie doll outfit she had, he agreed happily and from there she easily made friends with Bert (he also stop stealing her snacks)
Steph loved the weird tiny world she had been pulled into, it made her not feel so alone in her almost completely empty apartment. Until Tim's Dad was a dick.
Steph had been babysitting Tim's dog Putgoo when she went over to his apartment to ask if he wanted his dog back or if he needed her to take care of them for another day, she simply forced her way in when no one answered the door after a few minutes and was extremely concerned when she saw Bert and some unknown borrower trying to save Tim
Steph didn't ask any questions as she did what she could to help and took some of Tim's stuff to her apartment, she waited for at least 3 hours until Bert and Tim came to her apartment appearing from behind the box her TV rested on
They did their best to explain what was going on but Steph was just happy Tim was okay and asked if they just wanted to order a pizza for dinner
Tim said he could just sleep on one of Stephanie's extra pillows tonight with Bert and they'd figure out a better arrangement in the morning. Steph just hoped her neighbors next door didn't question why she was leaving her apartment with a boy they never even saw come in…
Lois, Clark, and Kon-
Lois had every right to be worried about a teenager living all alone in this apartment building, that was not normal no matter how much Clark told her to leave it alone it was not normal and it worried her. So when said teenager living all on her own left her apartment with a boy that she had never even seen enter the house or really seen around here (Steph lives in the second apartment building Dick resides in) she asked Kon to offer to walk the school with the two of them, she didn't want that young girl getting hurt
Thankfully Kon recognized the two and instantly realized who it was, he was able to reassure his sister-in-law that Steph (the girl) was safe with the boy as he was her best friend and his name was Tim. Lois still though Kon should go walk to school with them as he needed to make more friends, Kon begrudgingly agreed and quickly caught up with the other two and got to walk to school with them
Which Kon surprisingly enjoyed despite not really knowing the two very well, Kon never really tried to make friends with anyone in the city when he came down for the school year but there was always a chance to try something new!
Kon usually lived with his Ma and Pa but after getting kicked out of the school in Smallville he started living with his brother Clark so he could attend school in the city, he still went back to the farm during most breaks but had slowly started to primarily live with his brothers family
But Kon found Tim a bit weird compared to Steph, he reminded him a lot of Clark's friend Bruse with how withdrawn he acted and usually avoided standing close to people. Kon didn't say anything obviously not wanting to be rude but figured once he got to school he would just ditch the two and go about his day, sadly for Kon Steph has already decided they were friends and he gets roped into having lunch with them
Well the teens were off on their own adventure Clark was checking in on his friend as Bruse was still doing pretty bad after everything that happened with Jason, he wasn't surprised though. If anything like that ever happened to Jon or Conner? He would be destroyed.
So when he came over and found Bruse talking with Jason (Bruse was even at his human size!) He couldn't help but smile and quietly made his way in deciding he was check in with Alfred first, but as Clark got a bit closer he could hear their conversation and it started to worry him
"I'm telling you Bruse, we should just find a way to make sure that kid stays here and keep him away from his father."
"Jason we can't force them to separate, it's not a call to make."
Jason obviously wasn't happy with that answer and left, thankfully for once Bruce explained what was going on to Clark and felt he could at least give his friends some good news. He explained he had seen the boy Jason saved with the polite young girl that lived a door down from him and his family, Bruse seemed a little reassured by this and relaxed when Clark said Lois made Conner interact with the two of them
Clark sat down with his friend and they thankfully moved away from the uncomfortable topic, Clark quietly wondered to himself what Jon was up to considering he had no school today
Jon, Damian, and Cass-
Jon was on a super secret important mission today! Jon and some of his classmates that walk to school together had noticed a lady walking around the apartment building and seemed to be looking for someone or something, they had tried helping her and Jon had even told his mom about the young lady. But whenever they tried to approach her or the grown-ups they talked with did she would just suddenly disappear, Jon had even gotten a lecture from his dad about making up stories!
So Jon was going to prove that this girl existed and was going to do that by using a camera Kon had gotten from a friend (He thinks his name is Tim?) to get a picture of the mysterious lady, then no one can say he's lying or making stuff up! Jon had been looking for the mysterious lady for two hours now.
Jon, after 4 hours of looking, was slowly starting to give up when out of nowhere the mysterious lady dropped down in front of him from a nearby tree and he quickly snapped a picture of her. The two just stared at each other for a moment as the flash from the camera stumbled them both but when the lady tried moving closer to Jon he quickly got up and started running, he was not losing this picture!
The lady obviously ran after Jon and actually appeared right in front of him very quickly and when she reached forward to grab the camera a quiet voice yelled at her to stop, Jon looked around very confused trying to pinpoint where the voice was coming from and finally looked up at the lady shoulder seeing a-
"A borrower! Gran Gran stories are real!"
The two looked at Jon very confused and started questioning him on how he knew what a borrower was, he happily explained all the stories his Gran Gran had told him about the tiny people that live in the walls and then found out that the tall mysterious lady (Her name was Cass!) was also a borrower she was just stuck very tall at the moment.
Jon asked the two why they were here and the small borrower boy (His name was Damian!) explained that he was looking for his father who lived here, Jon obviously offered to help and when he found out the boy was related to his dad's best friend Bruse- well he was extremely confused but assumed it was probably a thumbelina situation.
The three quickly made their way up to Bruce's apartment and once he open the door he was extremely confused and even more confused when a small borrower boy was held out to him that looked kind of familiar, Jon was sent home after this as Bruse said this was a serious family matter and asked him to not tell anyone about meeting a borrower. Jon happily agreed as he understood how important secrets were and hoped the two borrowers got everything sorted out.
Two weeks later Cass started going to school with Kon and his friends and Jon got to go over the Bruce's house whenever he wanted to hang out with Damien, Dami had explained to him that his father was magic (so the thumbelina thing totally worked!) and that's how his mother and father made him.
Jon could still tell Damian was sad considering they didn't know where his mother was or if she was still alive but Jon did his best to cheer up his friend and really looked forward to starting school with him next fall.

Hi hi!! I just came from Along Each Garden Wall and absolutely love it! I'm wondering if it's possible to hear your headcanons about the Potter-Malfoy household?🥺 What are their parenting styles? Once again thank you so so much for it, I was so happy reading it 💜
anon, i'm so sorry this took me so long! i was away and wanted to give this a good amount of attention, because i love it so much! i think of harry and draco in that world a lot and i love imagining them as parents. i'll use a cut for length because i have Thoughts!
one thing i headcanoned that didn't make it into canon was that draco def had twins after the end of along each garden wall lol. i imagined their magical compatibility + magical fertility help was analogous to IVF and multiples are more common with IVF (i know the science of why multiples are more common doesn't exactly translate but whatever, it's magic, go with me here).
so, twins! which is hectic and a bit chaotic and that just works so well with their large pet and human family lol. like i think what's fun about that world is that harry and draco are both surrounded by big families (the extended malfoys, the weasleys) as they've built their own with rescues and strays, and the idea of them adding to that with twins (and lbr, probably more foster fails) is so much fun. especially in hawthorn house, nestled in this big, wild garden.
one thing i also think of is that they have kids when they're at a place of being so ready for it, and that translates to a sort of natural ease into parenting. they're both uncles and godfathers and they're both trying, really hard i think, to either emulate good examples of parenting (their friends, the weasleys) and counter bad examples (the extended malfoys, the dursleys). draco probably gets bogged down in trying too hard, a bit, and harry has to sort of reassure him that he's doing well.
but draco is also really good at being doting and protective and affectionate and just super demonstrative, in a way that harry might struggle with a bit. harry winds up being more of a dad who's also their best friend, which balances out with draco's parenting style nicely!
i also love the idea of one twin (probably the older one, who revels in being like 10 minutes older) being a mini-draco and one twin being a mini-harry, not necessarily in looks but in personality. and they're all very close but even more i love the idea of the mini-draco being closer to harry and the mini-harry being closer to draco. and they grow up surrounded by lots of animal best friends and so many older cousins and aunts and uncles. 🥹

Havent gotten very far in Jupiter gen yet really, but wanted to write stuff down before I forgot it lol
"Your whole life you’ve dreamed of having a big family, and well you’re a bit of a bleeding heart always having your doors open for whoever needs you. Your kids would say you’re a tad too protective and you also maybe ran into this whole parenthood thing faster than you should’ve but there’s no better way to learn than first-hand experience!"
-Iker was actually closer friends with Gaelle initially, and despite the two being kind of distant Gaelle often feels a wolfy sense of protection for her twin sister. So the two generally run in the same circle of friends. Iker and Stormi really hit it off and with only a mild suggestion from Gaelle led to the two sort of niavely getting into a romantic relationship. I imagine a lot of their early relationship was a lot more platonic than either intended. They acted more like besties than anything, but slowly the two really did fall for one another. Stormi still sometimes get caught up having a crush on Iker despite currently being married to him.
-Fun thing I was Not aware of until the two moved into their own household is that Iker actually comes from a family of spellcasters?? Like he's of an ancient bloodline and everything. Which paired with Stormi's dormant wolf is honestly so fascinating. Like from a Sims lore perspective that sim werewolves were once considered a branch spellcasters themselves before corrupting into what they are now. Also the fact that I like to imagine neither was actually aware of their family's history and were happy with the totally normal human life together away from their supernatural heritage.
-Stormi's always envisioned a life with a big family full of extended relatives and children, and it's something her and Iker can both agree on. Stormi always felt somewhat isolated growing up, she loved her mother and sister and didn't exactly desire to go through the hardships of being a werewolf the way they had to, but nonetheless felt distant from them. And considering the isolated cottage on the outskirts of town with only her mother and sister around really it's no wonder she grew up feeling rather Lonely and misunderstood. Shayne joining the family I think helped a lot, he's a bit of a weirdo tbh but he was kind and human and that allowed him to be a good parental figure for Stormi to latch onto. Regardless the goal for Stormi is to have 5 kids(at least one of them being adopted)
-Stormi and Iker's first son is named Galileo (after the satellite) I imagine they often call him Gali for short which will annoy him when's older since "leo" is obviously the cooler nickname option though no one goes with it. He's actually a werewolf too!! I hadn't really expected it and then the lil newborn baby started Howling to get their attention it was crazy. I like to imagine he'll grow up to be like an overprotective oldest brother type, lil guard dog of the family haha
-Stormi worked as a primary school teacher(i like to imagine she eventually winds up a high school teacher) actually and because of that connection she wound up with an emergency foster certification that allowed for Juno to come into their home. Juno's only a toddler, and she's a bit shy but Stormi, Iker, and Galileo all absolutely adore her so it's no wonder the filed for adoption. Stormi is also currently pregnant with baby number three who will probs be the Saturn generation.

Ada's Relationship with F (2) The effect influences the cause and that influences the effect
As mentioned previously, Ada's relationship with F is complicated.
That's because Ada doesn't have enough friends. She's a bit starved for them, you see. Why else would she idealize the Blind Boy so much after his untimely death?
The Blind Boy held the position of being both a genuine friend and a boyfriend. He satisfied both her platonic and romantic needs. He set an example—a standard.
To be honest, the Blind Boy probably wouldn't be able to withstand Ada's intense dependence on him for both social needs any while longer, especially since they were both just 14-year-olds. Blind Boy might have been kind, but he was still not a saint, and he was still a kid. Ada might have been used to restraining herself due to her foster parents being politicians commanding way too much attention, she exhibited less self-control when she's with the Blind Boy.
He was a friend after all. Ada thought that meant he would be okay with her showing who she was.
This mindset—trying to fulfill so many social needs from one single source—has only ballooned as Ada grows older. Years of being denied that little food for secured companionship had become habitual hunger. She has become even more cautious as to who she can designate as her "friend;" but once that person is seen as one, Ada shows a side of her even she herself isn't aware of.
---
F is, at the most basic level, the only person she feels secure enough to call "a friend" without the fear that he's been making a fool of her or secretly hates her all along.
He saves her life from Emily. When Emily finds out about Ada by accident in her quest to look for F, it takes only a few moments of Ada being unimpressive and "dull-witted"—and therefore, an embarrassing failure of a Ghoul—for Emily to decide that there is nothing to be gained from absorbing Ada and resort to simply kill the latter outright. Just like she did when she was an embryo in Tube E.
Ada manages to escape her with wit, a ton of luck, the dumbass strategies of someone who doesn't wanna die because she's still waiting for her big break as "the chosen one," and a coward's determination to survive. Just like she did when she was an embryo in Tube A.
Most of all, though—Ada's safety is only truly secured after she meets F, who sucker-punches Emily into defeat by showcasing psychic powers Emily has never seen or thought possible.
F is Ada's security, defense, and protection. Ada knows she needs him, from then on, to live. But how can she make sure F is willing to stick with her?
Well, she needs to make him dependent on her. She must ensure he sees her as vital to his current life. She needs to make him rely on her, and ideally, F should be more dependent on her than she does him. This way, F won't realize he's being used.
Politics, babe. Ada's foster parents might not have wanted her for a while by now, but you don't teach people via formal lessons alone. Sometimes you teach by example, and that's what the Politician and Mrs. Politician did.
F does need her. He's not just a little naive—he's actually willingly looking for someone to direct him. He may have run away to find liberation for his personal suffering, but that doesn't mean he magically breaks away from all the habits and molds he's been built from. He still looks for someone to guide him—a creature of no strong sense of self and belief he's never gonna be human—from the outside. He's looking for the next LR.
F's expression of naivety is... strange, due to his powers. He can sound wise and recognize the delusions the humans around him believe in, and yet he also doesn't seem to realize when people are using him nor how to protect his self-interests. To be fair, F doesn't hold common-held beliefs as others. For example, he doesn't think being used as a tool is wrong so long as he doesn't suffer from the process. If it had helped someone, F too would not mind having been used. One can debate if he's right or wrong.
One might think that Ada is using F. That this is an arrangement benefitting only one side.
But he's willing. It's mutualism.
---
But that's not the end of it. That mutualism leads to more places.
Ada has another motive to be close to F. Chiefly, she wants to absorb him. Both she and the Others want this.
For Ada, F's powers are the best things she wishes she had. She is jealous of him; while F yearns to be beyond a weapon (to be human, in other words), Ada just wants to be a Ghoul capable of beating Emily and becoming the object of fawning attention and deference. Ada also thinks her true, latent powers can only be awakened if she eats F.
Besides, F has once calmed her head down and brought her peace through his powers. Ada secretly hopes she can gain this peace permanently if she absorbs him and makes his psychic powers hers.
The Others, though, have slightly different goals. They want Ada to gain power so Ada can stop being so pathetic so they can live as true Ghouls instead of pieces of consciousness clinging to someone useless. F's powers might also free them from Ada's head and implant themselves into others; perhaps Ada's awakened powers combined with F's can resurrect the Others as their own entity. Even if this scenario fails, they can always fight for dominance over Ada's body after F is absorbed, so whoever wins can have true power and freedom.
And that is still not the end of her sentiments toward F.
---
There are more than just mutualism and ulterior motives. There's also genuine affection. The Blind Boy's standards have returned.
F is genuinely prone toward compassion. He's gentle, quiet, nonaggressive. For a weapon, he's ironically less hostile than the humans he's created to ruin. His kindness makes him easy to approach.
F has a calming effect on people due to his powers and disposition. A person who's always embroiled in mental suffering—such as Ada, plagued by the Others—will soon get intoxicated by F's effects. She relaxes around him. She feels accepted and safe. She feels as if she's the best version she could have been had she not been cursed with the Others.
F fulfills her platonic need handily. F fulfills her dream to be useful and someone to be relied on. F gives her security in many ways. F needs her, she thinks.
Ada has a crush on F.
Despite the two of them being rather related due to their nature as experiments of Project G(ho)u(l).
Ada loves F romantically, too. She cannot help it.
To be continued.
