1) are you named after anyone? nope

2) when was the last time you cried? I think it was probably when I listened to the new boygenius song "cool about it" for the first time early last week??

3) do you have kids? no and never will. I adore my niece to bits though

4) do you use sarcasm a lot? I guess so, in my own way. I think I also have a hard time understanding it sometimes

5) what's the first thing you notice about people? either hair or eyes

6) what's your eye color? like a forest-y green

7) scary movies or happy endings? scary movies, but I prefer classic horror

8) any special talents? uhh being irritating? lol in all seriousness, maybe organizing information if that can be a talent? I used to be okay at painting in school.

9) where were you born? east coast, united states

10) what are your hobbies? art, writing, reading, learning new things, d&d, old-school runescape

11) have you any pets? I have a cat named Tanuki!! he is my son and he can do no wrong.

12) what sports do you play/have you played? In my youth, I played basketball for ~10 yrs and soccer for ~3 yrs, but I hated both and wanted to quit every year (I was made to play).

13) how tall are you? either 5'5" or 5'6"

14) favorite subject in school? any of my art classes (drawing&comp, sculpture, pottery, painting, etc.)

15) dream job? oddly enough it's very close to what I'm doing now. I work in software development on the team-lead end of things but I would love to move to different roles within my team or with different companies where I'm more interested in the business we serve. I'd love to move to maybe social media software dev. or maybe game dev.? (currently in e-commerce)

#my art #jujutsu kaisen #jjk #jjk fanart #jujutsu kaisen fanart #yuji itadori #itadori yuuji #jjk yuuji #been trying some stuff out in an attempt to beat the artblock out of myself with hammers #and i LOVE how it looks but god it takes so long painting like this #i had a ref style i was going for that was a lot more washed out and watercoloury #and to be fair my take on it did start out looking more adjacent to that #u can still kinda see remnants of the initial watercolour washes in the collar of yuuji's jacket in th bottom one #but it Did Not Last fhdjfjjg what can i say im a gouache/oils gal #i can't use soft greys and watery inks i need stark blacks i need the reddest red the colour wheel will provide #one thing i did keep from the refs were the sharp prickly fine lines i think those look real cool against textured colour blocks #anyway ive also been having a lot of fun playing with rly rly harsh lighting on the hair #and even thinner linework put down after the colour as opposed to before #probably one of the reasons why it takes a lot longer but also it mimics traditional art a lot more #ill probably continue playing around with this sort of render ! or at least keep elements of it

i was REALLY surprised i hadnt seen anyone animate over anything from the prevenge script reading yet, so i took matters into my own hands. i thought this bit was hilarious

#transformers #maccadam #tailgate #ultra magnus #mtmte #lip syncing is actually a lot more fun than i expected #but tailgate's mask probably saved me like eight hours lmao #speaking of him i'm REALLY happy with how expressive he ended up being #i really didn't expect that kind of deformation to mesh well with the... uh... mesh.#so i was pleasantly surprised when it turned out as great as it did #mags' model was hard to figure out because he is SO FREAKING INCONSISTENT IN THE COMICS #but that also meant i got to cherry pick the features i liked best/that were simplest to model so... still a win #tailgate's blissfully consistent tho. his hood thing gave me a lot of trouble but i managed #this is my first time working with a lot of geometric shapes so i ran into a lot of road blocks but i did it!! yay!!

#my art #marinette dupain cheng #miraculous ladybug #miraculous fanart #style mimic #sorry for the @s btw #yall should go follow those artists if you dont already also #this was sort of inspired by a post the three artists on the top row made #i think they all got together and drew with one another #which is really cool #but i was genuinely confused because i mimic styles a lot #and ive seen others do it too so i was just like #wow they really know each others styles really well #until i thought about it and read their posts some more #style mimicking is really freaking fun and i think its really good practice #and a good way to explore other ways of doing things #like you really have to learn new techniques and get out of your comfort zone #also anna scribbles i could not find a recent pic of marinette in her main outfit #so thats the only marinette i drew in different clothes cuz i couldnt find a more recent ref of you drawing it #anna scribble marinette has privileges thats the others dont #but ye #i also threw my own style in there as a frame of reference to what me draw like #ive drawn marinette before just not in a loooong while #sabertooth walrus was the hardest for me to mimic cuz they have a broad range in their style #so its like which sabertooth do i wanna be in this pic #Buggachat has such a distinct style thats very clean and consistent which is amazing so they were easy #being easy or hard arent bad things either it also has to do with like styles meeting up with one another #buggachats and mine arent too too different in some shapes and aspects #so yeah itd be easier plus they drew marinette like 3 sec ago so i have more recent of a ref #as opposed to sabertooth who i have a recent ref of ladybug but not marinette so we got two diff styles in one

To be even 0.1% striking a similar chord is an aspiration of mine.#I also want to honour the effort I put into this parody book cover. Which was a *lot* more than one would think.#Covers were analyzed. I did research and took notes. I learned how to download fonts. 4 different programs were used.#This file is also poster sized (A4 dimensions)! I thought It would make the joke funnier for some reason.#Chuck Tingle's style is very iconic and fun to replicate. Despite the time intensive labour - I had a blast making this!#I admit to skimming most of the chapter this is based off of just to fact check a few details but boy did I learn things.#Wei Wuxian canonically has CAKE. Tiny waist and a fat ass.#I took several more notes but I will warn you now that I can't *not* find smut writing to be very funny.#This was pure chaos. Unbridled chaos. WWX really did shove a sword up his ass to bully dream-LWJ.#The need to be a little shit trumps saftey I guess.#There is a 99.9% chance I will not cover the extras so this is likely all the fans of those chapters will get from PD-MDZS.
