#you know what idc if they don’t feel them or whatever this scene is the real shit here#and what I’m about to say it’s only from the drama perspective hence I didn’t read the novel #*novels #not going to talk much about the heartbreaking story from wasan more like how he portrays those emotions… 😭 #like yes his story brought us to tears (the few more hours thing - debatable if it’s selfish for his own reason or not #but also not going to talk about it). it’s raw and real and how our real thoughts and emotions comes out in the dark #and boy it did. he laid it out in front of the person he suspected earlier (in his head which was the reason he came with) #in front of the person he barely knows. the one he said he likes him. he laid out his emotions in front of that person #which also means wasan trusts kan enough to say this all out loud. he let himself be vulnerable in front of Kan… 😔 #letting himself be vulnerable is one thing but also to cry in front of him is the other like #dudeeee it may seem there’s nothing between them but if there wouldn’t be anything idk if wasan would let himself flodd with those emotions #and feelings. I’m merely a person to say or dictate how one should feel but if it was me my guard would be high up all the time #yet here we are… wasan letting himself be vulnerable in front of Kan while Kan comforts him #also taking the hand in his and just leaning is not as a matter of course like #through the comfort you feel the pressure #througb the comfort and warmth you feel the pressure relieved. the pain relieved. which sometimes ends up in ugly sobbing ahdlgksbslfl #it’s not the case for wasan obviously 😂 but you get the gist what I’m saying. #it’s the sincerity and warmth from kan in this moment - @thasorns

is reading "kill yourself" once or twice gonna make them do it? nah, probably not. but reading it multiple times a day every day is gonna make their mental health worse. it's probably not good for your mental health to be saying that kind of thing, either.

just knock that shit off. the world is already so hostile to people with mental illness, and managing mental illness and unlearning unhealthy thought patterns is already so difficult. you don't need to be out here making it worse.

Another thing about what Minkowski says to Eiffel when she's trying to send him back to Earth in the finale is that she explicitly recognises his potential to be a positive father figure to his daughter. And that's no small thing, especially when we remember her reaction to the news of his jail sentence in Ep35 Need to Know, and how she responded "I don't know what to say" when Eiffel told her the full story, and how she still didn't properly reconcile with him for another 41 days after their conversation in Ep40 Limbo. "Go home, Eiffel. Hug your daughter." is about wanting him to be safe and to move forward with his life and to pursue the things that are important to him, but it's also about believing that he is not defined by the bad things he's done. It's about telling him that he could be a good dad. It's about believing in the possibility that he could rebuild his relationship with Anne.

When Eiffel and Minkowski make up in Ep44 Desperate Times, he tells her that the side of his life he's kept hidden is her business. And here, in a moment that could have been the last time they ever spoke, Minkowski makes it her business by wanting Eiffel to be able to hug his daughter.

ive talked in the past about keroro's desire to keep things as they are, static, because it's the only way he can have both keron and earth, but while rewatching ep140b I realized it shows the opposite side of this struggle

that no matter his efforts, it's a futile attempt and nothing is improving because everything is staying exactly the same. he spent a week racking his brain for a solution but the episode ends by showing us that he doesn't find one. could it be because the whole time he was fighting alone?

(his voice breaks in the first screenshot...) this to me feels like the same motivation he would have for invading. wanting to leave a mark, making something of yourself, mattering.

chibikero is in shadow, like the gunpla's shadow. he's not real anymore but he represents all the expectations and lost potential on his shoulders. while the small gunpla is in light like keroro. that's the reality of it. but that's also how he feels. small. he hasn't achieved any of his goals. he hasn't lived up to anything he said he would, everything he based his identity on. he's a "pitiful invader". his desire to matter perfectly encapsulates his abandonment issues too.

this collection will outlive him. it will speak of his greatness when he's gone. it's as much his identity as the invasion. it's also his tomb in the exact same way.

he's so happy for a moment organizing his whole collection on the shelves that he thought were gonna solve everything, enjoying the moment as it was, but in the end nothing changed.

is it because he's expendable? easily replaceable, like by a clone? is it because he doesn't see his own worth, so he has to get some (the keron star, his collection, the invasion)? because if he's not useful, he'll be thrown out? or because he doesn't want to be forgotten and left behind?

and yet

he remains insignificant and his fight is fruitless.
