Hihi, i hope my questions arent bothering you but I really want to get into evillious but im still confused so here are some questions i want to ask (⁠ʃ⁠ƪ⁠＾ω＾)✧⁠*⁠。

1. Do you only translate the songs or do you also translate the novels?

2. Where do you read the novels?? I tried searching on google but only the pride arc showed up.. :((

3. Lots of tiktokers who are part of the ec fandom recommended to check out your blog because it helps them understand better, im still a bit confused so please give me some tips to learn more abt the lore🫶

Oh, wow. I'm not on tiktok, I didn't realize people recommended me over there.

1. I have translated almost everything there is to read about Evillious with the exception of the Daughter of Evil manga. So, that's the novels, short stories, album booklets, fanbooks, some creator interviews, and I also "infomine" some of the things I don't translate (ex, I've been reading mothy's personal blog and posting the occasional summary on what's in it).

2. Yeah, unfortunately Google is not very useful here. I don't know how well you know how to navigate tumblr or if you're using a browser or the mobile app, so please excuse me if I say something you already know--I have two different directories with my Evillious translations on them.

biggest inaccessible thing that angers you right now?

doors with round handles. fuck those door knobs im glad my bedroom door doesnt actually close so i dont have to use it.

2. something no one talks about that you wish had more discussion about how it could be more accessible?

windows. i dont ever see anyone talk about how windows (that are meant to be opened for air circulation etc) could be more accessible. the window i have i have to wrestle with in order to get it open in the summer, because of that i avoided it this summer and ended up not having ac

i get there are some windows that have the screen on the other side and the inside slides up, i prefer those, my sister has that in her room, but the locks and the act of opening the window itself is not easy or something everyone can do.

3. what are some good resources that help you out? any blogs or sites that really helped you out with a disability or gave you support?

a user on here actually suggested speech assistant to me, i dont remember who but i was able to find an aac for my phone thanks to a tumblr user. i dont really have anything else to respond with, my resources are actually kinda limited ^^;

i got my cane off amazon, thats really the only other thing i have.

4. if you have an aid, mobility or not, how did you get it and do you know any good places to get them at good prices?

unfortunately all i know is amazon because i dont have a way of using other sites. most other sites dont use stripe and paypal is a bitch to me. i know there was a post going around earlier to be put on a wait list for a free wheelchair i think? if anyone knows where that post is id like to reblog it again

best way to get things at a lower price though is if theyre used/2nd hand. theyre considered worth less than new ones as they've been used and probably worn in already, therein they arent in mint condition like newer ones, but theyre still good. i actually got my first two binders that way. (tbh i get most things that way)

i know you can find 2nd hand stuff on facebook groups/marketplace, Kijiji, ebay and similar sites but i dont fully trust most of them myself.

when it comes to aid's that are programs though, such as aac or screen readers, there are tonnes that are completely free or come with small monthly subs or in-app purchases that arent too pricey and a lot of sites and social apps have those built in now a days with stickers, emojis, gifs, text-to-speech options on devices and so on.

5. any programs you know of that are either easily accessible or make things more accessible?

aside from my answer in 4, i have asl bloom which is like duolingo for american sign language. if you wanna quickly learn some asl for free, asl bloom is great!

i mentioned i have speech assistant for an aac, i've excitedly posted a bit yesterday about using it for the first time in a classroom setting.

6. whats an aid that no one mentions being an aid? could be big or small

anything is an aid if it assists you. glasses, braces, screen readers, etc

i see plenty of people acknowledging that pictures, emojis etc are aids as well esp for the nonverbal, more so than i would see sometime in the past.

a lot of things that might not be considered socially acceptable can be aids too, plastic straws for example, esp bendy ones, but thats been talked about quite a lot since the pandemic and i hope to see that discussion continue until theyre finally brought back as the default.

things that i never-to-rarely see anyone mention as an aid of some sort though? aside from medication, creams and things for pain management, theres not much to come to mind.

7. any recent news that really pissed you off, like an accessibility being taken away?

there was something at the time of making that ask game but i no longer remember what. nothing recent that have to bring up, at least not right now.

8. any good news to share with the disabled community?

i am sorry to say i bring no news at all, good or bad, but i may have some at a later date. perhaps whenever i get that french aac update we can consider that good news

9. what are some helpful things in your town/city for cripples?

11. is there an accommodation you wish you had/could get/want more of?

if i had the money and was in a different situation, id get a shower chair, braces or compression gloves, a wheelchair etc.

typing programs like typist arent made with disabled people in mind and i wish they were, i make mistakes because im dyslexic and cant always control my stims and they score you on how many mistakes you make with no backspace option and you cant continue until you improve with the least amount to no mistakes. they should at least let you use the backspace.

i use typist for class and it pisses me off that i cant go back and fix my mistakes. not just typing either but writing classes in general that grade you on how many mistakes you make should consider and accommodate people with issues writing/typing. just giving them more time to work on an assignment is not much of an accomodation. tics, stims etc are all things that can effect a persons writing and its pretty unfair and ablest to think that everyone can just stop making mistakes with writing if they practice enough.

12. whats some discourse going around right now that you wish would stop?

non physically disabled / able bodied people claiming cripplepunk includes them. should never have been discourse to begin with the name itself should be fucking self explanatory and if you know anything about cripplepunk its that its FOR THE PHYSICALLY DISABLED

13. advice for people who are only just discovering theyre crippled?

its okay to be disabled, learning your physical limitations and general limitations with your body is actually a good thing.

youre not lazy, youre not unsightly, youre not gross, youre not creepy, youre a living being and you deserve the accessibility, accomodations and help you need or want. if youre thinking of getting assistance get it.

youre not taking anything away or hurting anything by calling yourself disabled and using aids if you think it helps you.

whatever you have hindering your physical functions does not define you nore is it the only trait about you but it is a part of you that comes with you. dont let anyone disrespect you over it, get/use what you need, its your body.

14. any questions for people who've been in the community a while?

what were things like when cripplepunk first started? how did it gain traction and popularity? how did you come across it and what was it like when you were new?

do you have any advice for people just joining cripplepunk and things to say about content creation for cpunk? is there content you wish to see more of or reoccur? what was content online like when you first joined disabled/crippled spaces?

15. ramble about your condition?

man i really need to book time with the chiropractor. my arthritis aches are in more than just my hands and wrists, i get really bad foot cramps, leg and ankle pain and i have seriously bad tension and stiffness in my neck, shoulders and back.

if i remember tomorrow i'll call them when i get home for lunch between classes. and see if i can book thursday afternoons

a lot of my condition comes from my moms side of the family, which is cool in theory, i like talking about that kinda thing, hereditary and genes n stuff interests me but because its my mom and i grew up in her shadow being referred to as her "mini me" and shit, it makes me pretty uncomfortable to know just how much like her i am and i cant get away from it. (and thats not even mentioning how uncomfortable i am being associated with one of my ab/sers(u) to such a degree)

17. if you have any aids, have you decorated and/or named them?

ive painted my cane and and trying to paint it again when i remember, have the time and spoons, but i havnt named it or added any attachments and i want to. suggestions are welcome!

18. tips for maintaining mobility aids of any?

as a cane user:

wash and sanitize the handle/grip and foot of your cane as frequently as you use it. especially if someone else has touched it and you've been outside with it and have allergies!

use paint sealer if you customize your cane and use masking tape on the parts of it that you arent customizing (handle, foot, joints if its foldable)

place it by the door but not next to the entrance or shoes so it doesnt get knocked over/kicked etc and so you remember to take it with you if youre an "out of sight out of mind" type of forgetful person like me.

crippled-pvp mentioned this before; place your cane under the seats/on the floor if youre in a car. its deadly otherwise.

19. anything that motivates you to leave your house even just for fresh air and a stretch?

coffee/snack runs. the garden on campus nearby. if it werent for close by things like that i'd see no point in leaving the house outside work/school. and maybe a few other things like painting in the back yard ig?

any tips for starting a new writing blog?

hello dear anon!! oh my days it’s been so long since i started mine i cant really remember.

i would say remember that the first post is always nerve-wrecking and it’s ok to be nervous!! and subsequently the lack of notes since people wont know you and your style right off the bat! it’s ok to feel discouraged when you arent getting much attention too, since you are a newly established blog. the algorithm on tumblr sometimes sucks too :/

to me its personal preference but i like to have some semblance of a theme, or rather more of a post to consolidate everything that you post, not just your writings but also your faq, introductions, links, rules, etc. i usually look at a few writing blogs to see how they format things - everyone has their own ways of organising their pinned post and you can always mix and match to how you want to organise yours but it is NOT an invitation to plagiarise directly (yes, even if you change the colours of the theme to avoid suspicion). think of it with your own ideas and whatnot!!

NEVER. NEVER write on tumblr drafts on mobile. PLEASEEEE remember this. bc notifications appear on the bottom of the screen, sometimes the keyboard will go down and your finger might accidentally brush up against it. you will lose your work. it’s very very disheartening. another instance is also getting out of the app to fact check smtg for ur fic for eg and you come back to a previous post of your own from the notif ... and ur work is gone lol. writing on drafts is easier on desktop although i would say still have a safety net on google docs / notes / ur own writing notepad.

in regards to posting, if you are looking to fully be a sfw or nsfw blog then you can ignore this but i try to plan what kind of works i plan to post. if my smut works are doing well i try my hand at posting a fluff. smut works unfortunately will always get more notes imo, but dont get discouraged from writing fluff bc its still very fulfilling but the reality surrounding these genres are very distinct.

dont be afraid to delete asks or feel an obligation to answer every ask. at the end of the day it is ur blog and u choose what to put on it. if u get trolls and spammers just delete them or if u want to entertain them go ahead too.

be prepared to write out of your comfort zone. i know i said it’s ur blog and you choose what to put on it but sometimes i dont want to write the same trope with the same character and some of the requests allow me to improve my writing with characters im not too fond of for eg. i personally am still trying to push myself more, but it’s a good way to grow!

i like to attach a good amount of tags to my writing. the max on this site is 30 tags, i like to do around 15 or below that. to me it just looks less cluttered and neater. ofc w/ masterlists i usually just tag everything but for individual pieces i dont do a lot!

the writing community is to uplift too 💟 it isnt about who gets the most notes and interactions but rather to celebrate our love for the characters, so much so that we create stories out of thin air. be respectful and kind and dont be afraid to form mutuals! ignoring all the drama and craziness on tumblr sometimes it really is one of the best places to be at the height of your fandom!! enjoy anon!

Oo oo I wanna add onto this with my own more realistic headcanons. So im gonna use urs as a prompt. Uhhh just to initially say I dooo love ur ideas and tons of ur writing. So dont think this is me critisizing it. I just agree with some and disagree with others and wanna like yes and it a bit and wanna share my thoughts but its a lot for the comments section! Okay disclaimer out the way!

I read and watch LOTS of hero stuff. Superhero and others like rise of the guardians, dcu, mcu, tmnt and otherwise. Videos, fics, tumblr posts, art and so on. So ill go off of something like the realistic side of heroes Ive seen and read about. Cuz a lot of these are good points but for how I think heroes are its a lil on the darker side. And not as hopeful? I dont wanna say pessimistic as thats not a good word but its not a fairytale. Oh black and white would work well.

Its more black and white abt it and veey very one sided. Which makes sense at the start but not with their relationship prgressing. Which can still have fun but yea. So ill do dark like you but a bit more shades of grey and going with how actual maybe first responders or ptsd esque or superhero shoes show romance.

Also im imagining tmnt all media personalities but im using mainly bayverse for physical. And some 2k12 stuff as I know those 2 best. Sorry for grammar issues. Im bad at it, trying my best and on mobile. Okay okay enough explaining sorry.

Etc. Basic bish info type thing snd if they press for more like: Oh no we dont rlly discuss our relationship outside. We arent the kiss and tell or pda type, we prefer our privacy. Etc and block them full boundary if they bug you. The ring could be a promise ring simce marriage is on records. Etc. So on and so forth. So you hopefully at least dont have to deal with dating or questions or etc.

You could even say they travel overseas or something or its long distance. Any idea tht means no you wont see them and no i dont care if u want to.

- understandable about date nights not being formal but (for me) i prefer being inside anyway. Id prolly order take out to a usual drop spot they use etc and get pizza for them to and we can cuddle on the couch with netflix.

As for the date nights few and far between from what i know of tmnt stuff they regularly go out or do things on their own seperately. Especially raphael has constantly gone out on his own. Maybe not all the time but enough. So there could def be date nights scheduled and even just be stuff a lil before or wake up early to be after patrol. Or they can come by and u leave a window open so they can wake u. Might scare the daylights outta ya the first few times but ud get used to it. All about compromise and effort.

- his duty as ninja and protector. I think this is unbalanced. I feel like at first it would definitely be that way. But usually not everyone can stay black and white abt it as they come to care for someone. Theyd want to spend time with them and hang out and enjoy company. Plus evidence of even mikey losing heart at friends nd family dying. And people like danny phantom going evil cuz of it. The struggles Batman has for his robins/kids or the city etc etc. Even if its life or death.

So it should definitely be something thats talked about together at some point.

- the brothers not approving. Ahhhh from how we seen how the act in all media. Itd be partially that, maybe a lil jealous at whoever got a date first as well (they are teenage boys who dream of being "normal" sometimes) i think Raph would be a bit jealous but hide it as snarking and or leo would be a teensy jealous but act dissapointed cuz he knws they "shouldnt date" for their own safety and their partners. But every single last one of them has had crushes on people and probably talk to each other about it or something.

And all of them have gone on what ifs (definitely when younger) for how theyd be for dating someone. Or who theyd wanna date. Hell considering hie they sneak off sometimes they could even end up in a secret relationship or an online one etc. The more you integrate in and get close to them. The more i think unlike splinter, theyd see how happy their brother is and be happy for them to. Mikey qnd donnie i feel would be the least judgemental about it. Especially mikey.

- bumping into things is par for the course. Whatever version u think of, if its not the height and sheer muscles and size of them its their shells being in small spaces, or their tails etc. Or maybe trip ok somethjng if its smaller then them and they dont see it. And etc like a bull in a china shop. They can be delicate but still lol

- for the dump thing. Well plenty of humans are like that. Either smell or size wise. I had a gross ass dad (didnt deserve the title rlly) and at the least it stank to hell. Now Im not gokna say they can use a toilet but THEY can at least be the one to fix the issue if needed. Since they did it. (Or call donnie/ raph to come by who are mr fix its lol) and spray febreeze well actually. No their noses would be sensitive, open a window and maybe a timed spray option or beg donnie for a remote control lil spray. They can close the door after them and press the button and bam. Now not a 1000 chemicals shoved in their sensitive noseys or subjecting their partner to nose burns as well lol.

You will have to be the one that gets extra toilet paper though. Or I also have a method i just basicslly hand bidet and towel when necessary. (My grandma was from santo domingo and she showed me. Its basically judta cup of water or sopay water and u pour it and wipe yourself clean. Rinse. Towel. Bam, handmade bidet lmao)

Edit extra: also i bet theyd be so shy or nervous about saying they did. Id be a lil disgruntled but sigh and just get something else to go in while i wait. Like whenever my "dad" did stuff id go to mamas room and shed have a bucket. I realize its odd nowwww but shes from an island so i just learned after her. Its no big deal and then u just toss it in the toilet after its fixed and flush. Add some bleaxh and water to it to soak in the bathroom and all done. No different then a long road trip or going in the woods. Better then the woods really. Who wants to get the plants close to their tush? Not me =.= OR you could also just walk over to a neighbor (if ur friendly with one) qnd ask to go there or a shop nearby. (If anyones awake or open at night that is)

- buying him clothes in right size, damn near impossible. True. I dont think im a seamstress and not everyone would be but I have come up with a few ideas at least to get them cute shirts. Basically modifying them to tie behind the neck and under the shell (wherever the hell the pants go to) or a large elastic band at the bottom around their waist. Or the bottom can just loosely hang under the shell and keep going like a ling shirt.

Also if none of thats possible, accessories. Even if they dont wear them often im sure theyd love u buying them things just cuz. Cute bracelets, headbands, ankle stuff, body jewelry (if one can fit), cute knick knacks for their room, charms, posters or gifts for them etc etc etc. And mikey at least wears hoodies around his waist. Soo~ and cloaks could fit to. Maybe. Trial and error :D

Id personally lean into my crafting even more, art, paint, crochet, embroidery etc. Make them monogrammed towels or paint their shell and they can paint you back. Etc all kinds of bonding stuff u can do. Similar to buying clothes.

But finding right size off the rack? Yea no thats near impossible. Shoes to, tho again if u get crafty u can knit them socks.

Bonus: arts and crafts bonding eith raph (who knits in bayverse) and Mikey (whos usually shown to be artistic/creative in general).

Hell even donnie and leo, donnie with his tech maybe you can buy models to do together. And leo with cslligraphy, he could show you how to do it. Or they two of you can try to learn different font styles together. Or like tea ceremonies to get accessorized and dress up for.

I kinda turned this into bonding in general to but i hope u get the idea.

- the kiss: no notes, just facts. Lmao it will be weird. And depending on the version of the turtles they dont technically have lips sometimes. But possible. Tons of size difference people. But oof yea no its gonna be akward and shy and so on.

- s*x: no notes. Its true. Will be weird. Especially if they have turtle d!cks. Which i imagine they do cuz cme on now how could they not. Itd at MINIMUM be internal and shaped a teensy bit different if not very different from a human.

- size and strength adjustment in general (especially bayverse those giant adorable bara bastards): Facts. Total facts. They should have more practice thanks to knwing casey and april but thats different then cuddling. Trial and error. Be prepared to be accidentally squooshed sometimes on accident or to have the mosr geather light touch that it tickles and feels irritating (ooo feathery touch makes my skin jump in a not good way. Like stuff crawlin on u) like your glass. But be patient their learning. You to will figure a rhthym (superman did).

Also would in fact have fun holding they stuff they made for themselves (omg its so big) and or giving them "Normal sized things" to see how adorable and cute it is in their palms/hands lmao. I cannot get over donnie holding that tiny juice box in bayverse.

- you can not and will not go on patrol with him: ah. I dont disagree just on delivery. If you met him and your both fighters you could prolly go, if u get a mask for ur safety. If your a civilian well, april is a civilian and she somwtimes goes on patrol. Same wirh casey, he was literally dude/kid with a. Hockey stick.

At minimum theyd definitely make you do training and etc. But this also doesnt take in fact if you WANT to go on patrol with them. I personally wouldnt mainly cuz im a homebody. But i would wanna learn to defend myself if nescessary or to not be useless ina. Fight. Also would prolly buy a gun or tazer to use on people and so one. Plentt of people (in these universes) become vigilantes so on and so forth. Id also prolly ask for basic medical training. Nothing donnie level just enough to change a bandage or know how bad a bruise is etc (especially if anyone hides an injury, cough, looking at raph cough)

He cannot and will not give details about patrol: ahhh thats definitely an ehhh situation to me. I feel like (this is where ptsd and first responders comes in) maybe at first their wary, then eventually dont wanna worry you. And/or also, it went bad and they dont wanna talk about it. They would talk abt it otherwise or maybe just mention how good they did in general. But the closer you get the more they tell you or if they would like comfort or cry abt something. So on.

- master splinter limiting time in the lair in the beginning makes sense but i feel like thatd change over time. Especially if the other option is the boys (impulsive sweeties they are. Especially raph) sneaking out to your place and or staying the night/day cuz they wouldnt get back on time. (Rarely patroling in day time tho its happened. Like im bayverse)

Because again as the relationship progresses theyd wanna see you when they can. Cuz they are sweet in the inside. As well as maybe another place thwy can run to for alone time or time away from the brothers and gang. They love each other but ooowee a new place to hide and not be bothered and/or spend time with their new relationship? Fucking score.

- april and casey coming first makes sense. Especially in the beginning. Theyre their first outside friends. Thats a big ass bond. I feel at most tht evevntually youd be mor equal but its like if someone calls abt your best friend since childhood getting in a car accident. Tht comes before a date and a good partner would knw april and casey are at minimum basically family. (Especially in bayverse since she apparently bloody saved AND named them even if the boys didnt/dont remember)

I just love the idea of a Yandere Bakugou who has been pursuing Y/N for months and think he hasn’t gotten anywhere.

They spend all their time together, he cooks them food, he does their laundry, refuses to partner up with anyone besides them, and gets super jealous if they speak to anyone else but him.

But here Y/N is thinking they are offically dating and thinks everyone(let alone Katsuki) knows about their love for him.

So like one day they are hanging out with the BakuSqaud because Reader dragged his ass to hang out in their friendship group again. He isn’t happy he has to share Y/N but he is happy that Y/N is sitting right next to him and sticking by his side.

Cause this doesn’t go unnoticed and so Denki started making fun of them for being a couple. Bakugou is ready to kill Denki because, well, he is so very clearly making Y/N uncomfortable.

But Y/N just smiles and blushes and goes “yeah and?”

Bakugou’s head is fried cause Y/N just said they were acting like a couple and are okay with it?

Then Kirishima pops in “wait how long have you two been dating?”

And Y/N just goes “I think 3 months? I might be a bit off though, Kats is better with dates then me.”

Bakugou is like, so happy that Y/N likes him but, but also, WHAT.

He doesn’t say they ARENT together, cause to him Y/N has been his for the past 5 months, so he is just so prideful his darling sees them as his.

Course when they are back to Bakugou’s room alone his lips are on them. He is a little bit more controlling and way more possessive but Y/N just thinks it’s him being more affectionate.

I have a personal head cannon that if Alpha Bakugou ever gets really REALLY angry mad at his Omega one day and threatens them that if they don’t do as he says he will destroy their nest.

Their omega refuses to talk until Bakugou leaves for work or something and so Omega Y/N packs up all their shit and leaves.

If they are mates then maybe Omega Y/N would threaten back that if he does they are going to leave. I say maybe because if there are kids they will leave with the kids. They aren’t going to allow their kids to believe saying something like that will ever be okay.

If Bakugou tries coming after them they will go to the press. No ifs or buts about it. They will ruin his name and make sure everyone knows.

I like to think in the Omegaverse destroying your omega’s nest is a form of abuse because they need that space so threatening to destroy us is like threatening abuse.

Erasermic x Reader Headcannons (ABO Addition)

So this is more of warm up, and some self love? I’ve been having some massive writers block and mental issues for the past 2 months and these idiots have been really helpful lately. ABO is also my favourite comfort au so

This also went on for a lot longer than I thought it would. Love how the tumblr mobile knew what tags I was going to use. You know you need help when tumblr knows you most used tags and your moved read tags.

The boys are both alphas and your an omega.

They met each other in High School, at UA to be on point.

Hizashi acts more of a social alpha but than a omega dominant. Meaning, from how social he is in situations he absolutely comes off as a alpha, but he isn’t a dominant person.

Shota acts more of a social omega but a alpha dominant. Meaning, he is shy which sometimes leads people to think he is an omega but he very dominant and usually overpowers his opponents.

They even each other out very well. They did get a couple of jokes regarding their relationship, “two omegas in a alpha trench coat”.

Everyone in their year knows about them, even you. You are in the general studies class.

You are a sweet little omega that everyone in the school has smelt your scent.

Because of that, you have gotten some courting s gifs from Alphas, Betas and Omegas.

You don’t like how mean some of the alphas have been, you don’t like how weak from the omegas are, and even though Betas do sit in that perfect stop you want, your second gender really wants a alpha.

It wasn’t until the sports festival where you met the two alphas for the first time.

At first, you thought Shota was a omega and Hizashi was a Alpha, but then you heard Shota growl at someone and releasing his alpha smell and Hizashi trying to calm him down.

Where they a Alpha and Omega couple or a Beta and Alpha couple? You didn’t know?

It wasn’t until you were in the break room when you were close to both of them and smelled they were both Alphas.

They weren’t like other Alphas. Together they were a strong alpha but separately they were alphas that were a little bit different.

You omega really loved them.

But you told them to hush, it wasn’t like they would like you anyway. They were male alpha loving male alpha(malma), why would they be interest in a omega like you?

Over a month you would watch them at the corner of your eye if you ever saw them. Usually in the food court or when school was over.

Your omega cried whenever you saw them together holding hands, laughing, hugging, anything. But you also loved seeing them in their raw forms.

It wasn’t until one day before school, a day and time you wouldn’t usually see them because of how early you came in did things start to change.

Your scent was usually a burning bitter in the mornings because of your home life, the reason why you got to school so early and left left school so late.

“Excuse me? Little Omega?” Said a concerned voiced, the owner out of your sight but you knew who the owner was.

Your turned your head to face them and saw Hizashi, with a concerned look on his face.

“Y-Yes? Can I help you with something Alpha Yamada?” You asked.

He looked a little taken back from you knowing his name but he brushed it off. “Are you okay? Your scent is a little...”

“Ah, right.” Your omega was happy that one of your alphas noticed you, but you felt kinda sick. You didn’t want others to know your issues, that’s why you hid away until first class started, so your scent could go down. “Just an augment at home this morning, nothing big.”

Hizashi could smell that was a lie. He had been noticing you for the last week now after Aizawa made note of you verbally. He had smelt you around before, your scent was very strong. He was surpised to hear that you hadn’t gotten an alpha yet. Apparently you had danced around getting a mate and gone on first dates with people but nothing ever passed a first date.

Even if Hizashi had Shota, he felt bad for you. From what he saw and heard, you were very kind to people, were possessive of your food, and stayed at school for very long hours.

Your scent was so sweet and bold during the day, yet in the morning like today it was burning of bitter? Something just didn’t feel right to him.

“If you ever need to hide away, Little Omega,” he said “you can hide away in my recording room here at school. There is a little listening booth there where you can charge you phone, snack, and even nap there. My boyfriend naps there sometimes when he gets overwhelmed.”

Your omega thumped over and over to your chest. Your alpha offered you a place where him and your other alpha stayed for a little bit?!

Hizashi smiled when he saw your eyes lit up. He noticed your scent changing dramatically from his words and his alpha was about to release a pure if he didn’t move away soon

“T-Thank you, Alpha Yamada!” You beamed up at him with a smile. “I- Ah, my name is Y/N L/N, it’s nice to make you acquaintance, Alpha Yamada!”

Hizashi couldn’t help but smile widely. Did he really make your day so much that your mood changed so drastically and so quickly?

“It’s a pleasure to make your acquaintance too, Omega L/N.”

After you two finished talking, Yamada locked himself in a bathroom and just purred. God you were adorable. No wonder Shota noticed you so early, and no wonder so many people tried to be your mate.

And changing your mood too? Gosh that sent him to the moon and back in a heartbeat.

Hizashi grabbed his phone and started texting Shota so fast that if anyone walked in it would look like he was trying to finish an assignment on his phone last minute.

By the end of the day, you hadn’t gone to Hizashi recording room out of fear. Even though you were greatful for what he said to you, he still feared facing him.

You changed your shoes and were about to leave. You hated that you had to go back to that home. You couldn’t use the homework excuse this time as you finished it already.

“Oh look who it is, it’s Omega L/N!”

You stiffened. You hated this bastard less than your home but he was still annoying.

“Afternoon, Alpha Sensoji.” You said bitterly, trying to avoid eye contact.

He had been one of the Alphas that had tried to court you, but rejected because of how rude he was.

“You still haven’t gotten an Allha yet?” He poked.

“I’m not interested, Alpha Sensoji.” You started to walk away, but Sensoji was on your tail.

“Why dont you go out with me? You’ve gone out with a lot of different Alphas, Betas and Omegas. Why not me?!”

“Please leave me alone.”

He grabbed by your shoulders and spun you around.

“Why won’t you go on one date with me, Y/N.”

Panic started to erupt through out your body. You couldn’t help but chirped and shut your eyes.

“What? You think I’m threatening or something?”

“Leave the Omega alone, Sensoji.”

You opened your eyes and saw Shota standing off to the side of you two with Hizashi.

God you felt small and weak.

Sensoji let go of you and walked over to the two. You rebalanced yourself and watched as the two exchanged some words that you couldn’t hear.

Sensoji huffed and walked off, without looking at you.

Hizashi walked over to you. “You okay, Omega L/N? You looked rather scared there. Did he hurt you anywhere?”

As Hizashi was trying to calm you down you noticed Shota glaring Sensoji as he walked out of the gates.

“I- I am okay now, thank you Alpha Yamada.” You bowed your head. You looked over at Shota, getting attention as well. “T-Thank you Alpha Aizawa as well.” You bowed your head to him.

Shota blink at you. “How do you know my name?”

You stiffened. “I- Um, I noticed you both at the sports festival.”

The two grew quite. That didn’t really explain how you knew their names but it did mean they had caught your attention way before you caught theirs.

Aizawa has also been coming into school early and had been noticing your bitter scent every morning. By when school started you had a normal scent. He didn’t know how to approach you but he wanted to protect you.

Protecting you would be enough.

He knows Sensoji isn’t the person causing you bitter scent in the morning so it had to come from home.

After that event the two alphas started noticing you more and more. The day you did come I tothe recording booth was a fun day for them.

You just didn’t want one of your friends asking for a price of your food again but they saw it as time to get to know you.

Soon enough, you started coming everyday and started to talk toth every day.

You all exchanged numbers with each o the we and texted. You tried not to come off too keen but Hizashi had different plans. This man texted you so much. So, so much.

One day after a stressful morning you came into the booth and saw Shota already setting up blankets and pillows for you to nest in.

“I’ve noticed your scent is bad in the morning, so I brought in some stuff to help you out.”

Everything was scented by him and Hizashi, which made your heart fly.

You slowly started sharing food with them, and started opening up about your love life.

It took one after school time in the booth you started to think over your relationship with the two.

We’re you courting the two? We’re they courting you?

Once you realised that you may have been courting the couple you went into a panic.

You scent shift woke Shota up real fast.

“What’s wrong, Omega?” He asked.

“I- Mmmmmmmmm.” You thought it over. “I think I’m going to leave early today.” You said as you started getting up.

Aizawa started getting up as well. “Are you sure? I’ll walke down with you-“

“No no I’m fine. Just, got some stuff I need to do.”

He stood still as you gathered you things. “... I see... Bye then.”

“Bye, Alpha.”

You left in a hurry, leaving Shota’s Alpha whining. He got his phone.

“Hizashi, can we talk about Y/N?”

You didn’t talk to the two for a week. You let your parents yell and command you around from as early as you could leave school and as late it was okay for you to be. Though by the 3rd day you silbings started noticing something was off and somehow convinced you parents to lay off.

Hizashi and Shota kept texting you and you just ignored them.

Though it got a bit too much, and at lunch you started to head down to the room.

When you opened the door, Hizashi jumped you.

“Oh Omega we have been so worried! Did they hurt you? Did they take away your phone? Why have they been keeping you at that home for so long?”

You were shocked to smell the room was just filled with their worried scents.

“We were really close to just walking to your house and getting you out ourselves!”

That sent you worrying.

You sent out a calming scent out to calm them down. “Shh, it’s okay. I’m fine, I’m safe. I just, had a lot of homework that I was pushing off and I couldn’t do it here. They leave me alone if I can prove I’m doing homework.”

Hizashi wrapped his arms around you and resting his head into you neck glands. You tried not to stiffen by still sending out you scent and rubbing his head.

“I’m okay Alpha. I promise.”

Shota started at you from across the room.

“Alpha are you-“

Shota shot over, wrapping his arms around and drove his head in your other neck glands.

Your face flushed. “I-I’m sorry for worrying you two.”

The two started to purr from just smelling your scent, and started scenting you in return, causing your cheeks to burn from the blood rush.

“I- Mmmmmmm.” The two held you so close. You felt so loved and wanted. You wanted them to be your Alphas, and it felt like they were. You couldn’t push this off any longer. “I- Alphas? I- A-Are we courting?”

Shota stiffened but pushed his head more into your glands. Hizashi on the other hand kissed your glands, making your head to feel hot.

“Yeah, I think we are, Omega. Is that okay?”

Shota wasn’t going to say anything until you responded. He needed you to respond.

“Yes! Yes that is okay.” You brought them closer and shyly smiled. “It’s more than okay.”

Shota smiled, then licking your glands.

You chirped which caused him to chuckle.

“Our little omega.”

After that, you three were very open about your relationship. People were rather shocked that the “two omegas in a alpha trench coat” have a shared Omega.

Group couples were rare but not really frowned upon.

When you came home smiling in a daze and smelling like the two alphas who brought you home, the was stone quite.

If you had mates then your parents couldn’t control you(in their eyes). It closed some issues and opened a couple of others up.

However, it mostly meant that by the time you finished school, you happily moved in with your alphas.

Okay I’m currently in the middle of some writing I just had this idea of Alpha Bakugou coming home late and seeing his omega fast sleep cuddling a plush who has clearly been crying.

He would be so upset.

Did he do something to make you upset?

Why did he have to come home late? He could’ve helped you.

He would start worrying and take the next week off just to spend time with you to make sure you are okay. He plans this though before to wake up.

So next morning you wake up to see your alpha has made you so much breakfast and being really soft.

When he asks why were you crying you thought and remember that you banged you toe really hard and it had bruised.

On one hand, Bakugou gets pissed at the walls in the house. How dare they be so hard in you.

One the other hand, he is like “what the fuck I took of a week off in fear I upset you only to find out you just ran into a wall”.

Baby boy needs cuddles for all of his hard work.

I am a fantasy loving bitch knees, and the thought of Prince Bakugou just makes my heart do a flip.

First up, Crown Dragon Prince Bakugou came to your kingdom do see your oldest brother get married. This would be the only time crowned heirs would ever interact until they were kings or queens.

At first you were rather shocked by his attitude, you thought he was so disrespectful to your brothers special day.

But at the ball the week before the wedding your soon to be sister in law made a joke at you expense and Bakugou was the only one who stood up for you.

The day after you decided to spend some time alone so you went for a horse ride, but Bakugou was there at the stables also going out for a ride.

Not be a rude host you offer him to join along with you. He accepted.

“Fine, but your staying out of my way!”

He was very shocked that you enjoyed riding. Apparently most other princesses he has met think horse riding as a hunting sport.

You two spent more and more time together, that you two were noticeably close at your brothers wedding reception.

Bakugou stayed for a week after the wedding as that was the longest time another crown prince could stay for.

You were so deeply hurt to see him go that you cried and refused to leave your room for a few days.

A week after Bakugou left though you mother stormed into your room with a large smile on her face.

Bakugou had sent a wedding proposal to you.

You were over the moon and gladly accepted.

Course your sister in law wasn’t happy that her attention was taken away and given to you but you didn’t really care.

You and Bakugou exchange letters for 6 months before you move into this Palace and live with your country’s�� representative as your escort.

Bakugou was usually busy with Princely duties but he always made sure you got fresh flowers each day.

He took you to see the dragons that live in the mountains behind his palace and explained to you that his royal blood line had a curse were they were technically half dragon.

They looked human but had a heart of a dragon.

Bakugou may have had his rough edges but you got to learn his soft side, a side that and very few people got to see.

He loved to take you horse riding up the mountains. He described it as the only time he was allowed to be free, and free with you.

everyday i wake up. i find a mutual in law whos blocked me. like whyyy i dont even do anything on this website. some ex muts too like what. i feel like i have very little internet presence outside of talking to specific internet friends on like. discord like what do i do on TUMBLR that makes ppl want to hardblock me. i swear i was blocked less by mutual in laws on my old account where home.stuck was one of my top tags (im an ex hs fan for context i do not support it and actively hate it) like ??? i KNOW im overthinking this its literally tumblr who cares and i laugh abt it a lot but idk it bothers me like im not fixated on it pleeease dont think im that terminally online or anything i think im just mental illness 👍

like idk idk i put a huge amount of energy into how im perceived bc it matters a lot to me that people around me like me ..like irl i will buy food for people i despise bc i want ppl to have positive associations with me soo bad . this isnt like an "ohhh im such a nice person how dare u not like me im so nice" thing bc i absolutely can and will be an asshole and im constantly walking the line between "im overly self confident for fun" and "i genuinely think im better than everyone and will say it" and like a bunch of other stuff i dont have to list all my flaws to make a point (<- almost did but decided againist it)

anyways idk idk!! im so likeable irl which again sounds very egotistical but is literally true like im not afraid of confrontation or anything but im friendly and honest and ppl generally enjoy me being around which is something ive worked sooooo hard to make true and like. idk mutual in laws are people i see around and i like having little friends in my phone ! mils feel like classmates u see around but dont talk to much and the idea of that like. category (is that the right word..) of people not liking me is genuinely upsetting i literally dont have anyone in my entire school who doesnt like me or like. feels more negative abt me than positive or neutral (to my knowledge at least..)

like idk i feel like im going in circles and i genuinely am not super invested in this it isnt consuming my every waking thought or whatever its just frustrating and im a bit paranoid people are talking shit about me and like........ i am fine confronting issues people have with me like if theres a genuine issue pleeeeease talk to me abt it i would rather be confronted with an issue of mine out of nowhere then be blocked but most of the people who have me blocked probably have for things that arent objectively bad but annoy them like spam rbing or whatever (i dont think i spam the dash or mass rb from ppl but idk i might to some ppl) but i dont knowwww and its driving me off the walls <- will literally stop caring abt this in 5 minutes and it just thinking about it really hard rn and making my self feel worse by overthinking but also feeling better by talking it out instead of letting it fester

First, to knock Homestuck out of the way. Homestuck absolutely should of been in the poll, the lack of dirk or Dave is insane to me. But riegen has NOTHING on strider sexyman status and is nowhere similar but that's for another post.

Anyways back to Cecil.

I want you to imagine the year is 2012. Gay marriage won't be legalized for another three years. A podcast starts to make the rounds, your friends are watching it so you think sure. Let's check it out. And then you here the narrator start to talk about the new scientist in town. And right there, in the first introduction, they make it clear. "And I fell in love instantly." There was no building up, no hiding it, no queerbaiting. Right there in the first episode they told us that Cecil was Gay and in love with Another Man.

And if you weren't there then there arent WORDS for how ground breaking this was at the time. How amazing it was for the tumblrbase, consisting largely of closeted/ discovering pre-teens, to hear this. The finale of Legend of Korra, where two women holding hands was GROUND BREAKING?? That wouldn't happen for another two years.

In horror media, queerness is traditionally used to notate something scary. The scary lesbian woo'ing another woman and killing her was a horror trope for a reason. But Cecil's queerness was loved, it was celebrated within the media. The entirety of Night Vale of a concept was taking all that was Queer and celebrating it.

Welcome To Night Vale is what single-handedly changed podcasts from 'the thing your dad listened to' to something interesting and accessible to young people. It practically introduced the concept of a narrative podcast. Massive media like The Magnus Archives, The Penumbra Podcast, and hell I would argue even the popularity of other media like TAZ? It only happened because WTNV brought not just an audience to podcasts, but a QUEER audience. A queer audience who, once they were old enough, only needed a mic and cheap editing software to start making their own queer content just as fast as they were consuming everyone else's.

But back to 'sexyman'. Again. Tumblr's base is 12-14. And we're given not just the first gay character most of us have ever seen. But a dutiful boyfriend who loves his husband and his cat. Who gets into silly little squabbles with his silly little nemesis. Who's CHARMING. Of course the internet fell in love. But beyond his personality. He had the Homestuck/ Bill Cipher/ Wheatley bonus of not having a canon design. Sure, the basic 'blonde white twink' design was/is the most popular- it was 2012- but some people got creative. No matter what your attraction was too, you could picture him looking like that. He's a good boyfriend AND he's hot?

Sure, The Onceler was insanely popular and so was Sans. But people were either lusting for them or Hated them. But Cecil?? Cecil was our hot gay mentor. The only thing a lot of younger queers on tumblr had for an adult queer role model. He was the basis for so other tumblr sexymen.

TLDR: "Did wtnv have cultural impact?" jesus fuck yes it did.

Look. Whatever happens. Isn't it incredible that Cecil Gershwin Palmer, who got eliminated first round in the Twitter polls because nobody knew who he was, is now neck-and-neck with Reigen in the semi-finals? The guy who the animated Tumblr Sexyman Fight Video described as "just a normal guy" is now giving the previous runner-up a run for his money. What a comeback story for our guy.

quick (positive) update !

(tldr; my mental health is improving, im gonna use tumblr on desktop from now on not mobile, fics are on the horizon, ic blog is still fun and i would like to keep it running, no more text post concepts, might make a little/big discord and/or amateur podcast - asking for feedback on ur interest in these)

since deleting the tumblr app my mental health is improving, and ive also started thinking about the au more every day! im getting more concept ideas for the first time in weeks and even am starting to get the motivation back to write some fics :o

because of this im gonna keep the tumblr app deleted and only use tumblr on desktop from now on - it just has more steps for me to acually go on the site by gettin out my laptop and stuff, so its no longer a default when im bored or disociating to just swipe to the app, and more of a conscious decision when i actually have things i want to post !

this is actually feeling rlly productive for the au since before i deleted the app i was worried bc i had had no concept ideas or motivation to write in weeks and even months, but now my interest and passion for it is coming back as im not so caught up in mindless scrolling and refreshing my inbox all the time

so yea ! jst letin you all know that things are good and i'll be around here again eventully prob with more ideas and energy for the au !

the ic blog is also something i still love to do and think is rlly fun so im defnitely keeping that alive ! i might still have a break from it for just abit longer but im gonna come back to it soon enough and hope some of you will enjoy it when we pick that back up again !!

another note that ive found writing out concepts just became such a chore that it sapped all my inspiration to even think of them - so in terms of text posts on this blog, i can't say for certain but at least for the foreseeable future i do not plan to write out concepts, only fics

but i still have concepts i would love to share - and the two things ive found i acually enjoy doing with concepts is either keeping them in messages with friends or even recording them in voice recordings

so i'm genuinely considering the folllowing two options for future little big concepts as i dont think posting them in text on tumbllr is working for me:

1) i create a discord server for little/big (open to anyone who wants to join) where we can throw out concepts in a more casual friendly conversational way and ppl can have more input on them because i much prefer the back n forth concepts to me just telling u things - this method is where most of my concepts come from in general from my discord with liv and bea !!

and/or

2) literally doing a rlly amateur little/big podcast HSDSHDJSD i'm not kidding honestly i much prefer talking out loud than typing (and before anyone else suggest voice to text programs i am aware of them but they just arent vibing for me) - anyway i would just voice record some ideas and post them somehow for ppl to listen jhsdksah

i know these are unorthodox but honestly its my au and this is what works best for me, i could do both honestly and will prob at least try them both

hi, A/3 volunteer back again! i hope i can answer your questions properly, but i’m on mobile so sorry if i get a bit confused. it’s also going to be quite long but i hope you can figure out which questions i’m replying to. let me know if you need any more clarification!

1 - as tag wranglers, we don’t moderate content via deletion, etc - we just move fics into the correct tags, and it’s typically on a fandom basis (for example, i might solely wrangle for something like the supernatural fandom only). i’ve never come across ‘problematic’ tags since most of the time, it’s just sorting tags into like... more general tags? so example - someone tags a fic with ‘kinda fluffy kinda angsty’. we would then kind of make it so that tag redirects to ‘fluff with angst’, even though it still appears as the original tag on the fic. does that make sense? i’m also a little unsure of the other questions you had here - which is totally my fault, i’m in the middle of writing an essay for uni that needs to be in in like... 12 hours and my brain is frazzled - but if you were asking about a situation where if i was concerned that a single user had a collection of fics that were all entirely based upon something illegal and reported their entire account to mods, would it be deleted - i’m not sure. tag wranglers are kind of like low-level moderators, and we’re not what would typically be thought of as moderators since we simply reorganise content versus actually removing it. since the reporting process is typically through the site itself and is handled by an entirely separate team, i cant speak for how they think or what their process is.

2 - it’s up to our judgement as to if we want to report it, but again, the tags we wrangle are VERY general. tags like ‘dead dove don’t eat’ and stuff that are typically full of polarising content arent something i’ve come across, because i think they make up a minority of most fandoms when put against tags like ‘fluff’ and ‘angst’ and even stuff like ‘chocolate’, lmao. i’m not certain what happens when a report is processed and the fic is found to be removable - what i do know though is that with fics that are seen as breaking specific laws (i.e depictions of CSA, slander, etc) mods are often a lot more hard-handed for several reasons (reputation both within the community and in terms of the fact they could very much get in legal trouble). again though, i’m a low-level moderator and don’t see that side of the process. however, if i report something and it’s not taken down, i’m not implicated in any way. it’s been a while since i’ve been on the site and reported anything so i’m not entirely certain if reporting is 100% anonymous or if you have to supply details like email, but i think if you DO supply things, it’s to ensure you aren’t mass-reporting someone (bc i think that counts as targeted harassment). email is also possible to fake, so i think you can make the process anonymous if you want to. as for how often i personally report fic - not often. i’m a CSA victim (which is why this topic is touchy for me tbh), and i don’t like to go through the process because i find it arduous - you have to give an explanation as to why you’re reporting the fic, and i find it triggering at times. i’ve also never been in a position where i have found a fic while actively volunteering that i feel has been necessary to report, so i can’t speak for that either. all of that being said - i’ve heard of and seen on one occasion fics and entire accounts be deleted for harassment/slander - in particular, i’ve heard multiple times that accounts dedicated to purposely like... making fun of? or like technically harassing? kpop boy group members have been taken down because even though their content is ‘technically’ fanfiction, it’s obviously just there to incite hatred against a specific person. so, imo, if mods are quick on taking down accounts obviously run by 14 year olds in fandom drama writing numerous fics where boyband member A calls boyband member B stupid and tells him nobody likes him, i think they’re very likely just as serious about taking down more serious content. that’s just my opinion and my personal experience though, and it’s distinct from my volunteering.

overall, on the whole topic of CSA on the website - it’s really tough even just as a basic content moderator. there’s lots of reasons as to why people post it, and though people are very obviously welcome and encouraged to think critically about everything, it’s a fact that the topic is really really difficult to manoeuvre (culture, who is posting it, when was it posted, why it’s being posted aka vent fics, etc). as i said, i’m a CSA victim myself, so i understand the frustration, but it’s too nuanced and difficult a topic to be able to say ‘ban it all’. however, i do think the site is doing their best to crack down on stuff that is very obviously on there for one specific reason, and i also think generally, they’re changing things so people are able and sometimes encouraged to anonymise themselves by not giving any profile info and to protect themselves by turning off comments completely, etc. i find that you can make it really easy to curate your posting experience so that essentially, you can post but nobody can really interact.

3 - i like tag wrangling! i got into it because i saw a position on the front page of the site and decided to go for it. it wasn’t very taxing to get into and you don’t have to put much work in - a couple of hours a week is enough, and they’re understanding about work/uni/etc. it’s easy to meet other people through volunteering, and they ensure everyone is over 18. i don’t read through fic myself - just through tags, and then i sort them into their proper places. if something is tagged wrong, we don’t get in touch with the author, we just do our best to reorganise the tag so it redirects into the correct place - again, for instance, if someone writes a fantasy AU that they tag with ‘high fantasy prince/princess AU’ and that tag doesn’t exist, we would sort it into the main tag for a royalty AU or something like that. re: monetisation of fics: technically, monetised content is not allowed on A/3 - if someone is advertising their patreon or kofi in their authors notes or profile, you’re supposed to report it just as a general user. i think it’s because it puts the site at risk of being sued or something? but as a low level mod, i don’t HAVE to report these things unless i see them while i’m tag wrangling (aka i see a tag like ‘my patreon is XYZ!!!!! send me money!!!!!!’) and i personally don’t report monetised fics because ... i don’t find it a prominent issue, lmao. people are also learning to avoid it by being like this is my tumblr or this is my twitter, and when you click on their social media they link their patreon or whatever There instead. also, idk who decided the colour scheme! i think it was just like a generally agreed upon thing with the site designers. i also think there’s been convo for a few years about dark modes and stuff on the site, but i’m pretty sure the site has to get a few more things out of the way before they’ll prioritise that (i know they’re trying to work on a better moderating system for things like spam and harassment atm bc the spam filter absolutely sucks dick lol). i’ll totally drop a mention like WOW, wouldnt it be AMAZING if we could have this SPECIFIC COLOUR SCHEME, tho <3

Is the hornbill a bird? It probably is but I have a terrible memory and I’m dumb so. I skipped the last few weeks because I’m scawwed. How are you liking it? I did see someone say that the hornbill makes sense (without knowing what it is...at all) bc heart transplant patients only live like 5-15 years after but someone in those comments pointed out that he was so young when he got his and that’s pretty rare so he has a higher likelihood of survival. Frankly, this is the only way I will proceed. Since when did shows ever care about the heart transplant health? Never and it needs to stay that way!

sort of in the same vein re: taking it easy...we coudl all be more understanding too. to slow it down like you mentioned about not being privvy to fucking eveyrthing and saying anything on our mind. i saw this person talk about y2k which was a huge deal while happening bc it was the turn of the millenium (bruh were u even alive?) but this twitter user grew up in a super super SUPER religious household and was like why do ppl make jokes about Y2K it was insanely traumatizing? though my first instinct was confused ive tried hard to like look more before i judge especially thanks to a friend of mine. turns out that with the further reading the more we found out he was just really traumatized; it was very common in religious households to be afraid of 2000. so we could have come at him with no understanding and he could have thought that everyone had the same experience with that year that he did. his feelings sit precedent though but i think it was just very hard for him to fathom. 

i didnt reply bc he didnt need that and what could i have said? he’ll see what the truth is with exposure and unfortunately this was something he really did go through.

you make a really excellent point. i think the young young gen zers are really really just interesting because it’s like this whole new world for them with leftist politics and they just can’t grasp the horrors of the world and the kind of freedom being a leftist can bring. and so many people don’t grow out of it. those people so happen to be the “least productive” in terms of how much time they spend IRL withe these issues. naturally, younger kids are gonna have a harder time. they are not as mobile as well so the internet becomes this place. but then it’s this echo chamber. and many times just things posted without sources. and social media NEEDS that to exist.

i think of the irony of leftist kids on tik tok and while i am happy it’s reaching them it’s just....different. very different. the growth of social media is so good but also so fucking sad, it’s too much! i think the point about not writing everything is major. even i have to do this which is part of the disappearing.y ou need to detach and make sure your head is on straight again. but when you think eveyrone has to be privvy to every thought and you can’t just sit back....which twitter and social media doesn’t encourage. you have to join in. that’s often why when i have something to say it is dense because i don’t feel like repeating it. ever. lmao ust ever. i cant pay attn. social media is a fucking minefield for my brain u can get so lost in it and absorb it but once u start talking you may not be able to stop. 

i think a big part of that is it not being a leisurely thing but sort of just in our lives always. this sounds like a grandpa rant but ykwim. We dont have to see the same thing over and over again. unsure what the worst one would be, they all suck imo. i guess any ableism coming from my dad, because hes my dad so it tends to hurt the most coming from him.

main point: ask consent before daring to touch anyones belongings especially mobility aids and not every disabled person will have the same limitations and experience with their disabilities. we arent inspiration porn, we are human beings functioning differently from you.

some people will be okay with you moving their cane aside or something AS LONG AS YOU ASK and keep it within reach of them. some people in a wheelchair can walk or use other aids on different days, some people dont use any any aids but still cant do th e same activities you do let alone they way you do them for the same length of time. some only use aids on rare days, some have perfect use of their legs, some have to have assistance with mundane tasks, so on and so forth.

a disabled person in the olympics, competing in a sport, creating things while in a wheelchair or walking with a cane etc are not there for you to go "wow so amazing youre so strong and brave im so proud of you for doing this despite your disability" they do it for them, with their disability and never for your degrading "positivity". you wouldnt say that if they werent disabled, why arent you saying congrats to the others who do the same thing as them too? is it just because youre singling them out for being disabled? fuck off with that.

i do remember when i walked into the dollar store the cashier asked what happened when she saw my cane and i went "oh i was born with a defect in my spine :D" and watched her deflate with a quiet "oh.." what were you expecting?? how is that question ever not awkward?

therapy, or emotional support cat or rabbit? i cant do dogs, im terrified of dogs. cats and rabbits i could handle. im actually unsure what else there is but iv looked into getting an esa a while ago and the only reason my mom said no no matter how many times i bargained is because we live in too small of a house thats constantly a mess.

im never allowed to get a rabbit while i live with her, she hates them ever since one horny rabbit years ago bit her leg.

off the top of my head theres "escape", "the adventurers" and "afterwards", maybe even "the four witches", original books of mine. as for fandom related characters, my oc macey comes to mind first. shes a marvel/avengers oc (in general not just mcu). im happy to talk about any of these, you can even ask if i have a character with a specific condition, i probably have a dnd npc or two from one of my campaigns who have it if none of my book or fandom oc's have it.

i took a nice hot bath, had a strawberry kiwi capri-sun, and did a nice face mask and i’m feeling pretty good - so, y’know what anon? let’s talk about it. 

for anyone who likes taz grad who sees this post: it’ll be tagged with “taz grad hate” (although i feel hate is definitely a very strong word - it’s for the simplicity of tagging it) - so please block the tag if you don’t want to see this post (especially because i put a readmore on a post before and it didn’t show up on mobile and instead gave the full post). mobile tumblr has a tag blocking system, so please feel free to use it! i don’t mind haha

anyway, so this is... probably going to be a lost post, and i wanna go ahead and preface it: this absolutely isn’t any hate on the mcelroys themselves. i love the brothers and their dad a lot, and while i doubt any of them would ever see this (or have it sent to them, or shown to them, because im pretty sure they try to distance themselves from this sort of thing), i just want to make it clear that criticizing a product is different than bashing a person. which brings me to the point of if i do end up sounding as if im bashing someone - please call me out on it! it’s not my intention to target anyone.

with that said, let’s talk about this campaign.

so my problems are as thus: the railroading, the shipping (a fandom problem, but it’s present in the podcast), the NPCs, and some misc problems others have addressed better than i have.

which. i know. that’s basically the entire podcast. (i promise i’ll bring up some positive points to balance it all out). keep in mind i’ve only personally listened to... what, six episodes? and it was enough for me to drop it. some people dropped it first ep, some dropped it ep four, and others are still forcing themselves to listen.

the railroading

there was a time i could handle travis and his railroading [making sure the story goes exactly the way he has planned], because it was the very beginning of the podcast and that’s what you can kind of expect from a plot-heavy podcast. hell, i wouldn’t mind it if the interactions and goofs weren’t a huge part of why i listen to TAZ in particular (which, by the way, is why amnesty still stuck out to me - even if there was a direction griffin wanted to push them towards, the interactions between the players (or players and npcs) made up for any railroading). it’s kind of hard to not railroad a little when it’s story-heavy and you’re trying to built up a world that you’ve put a lot of thought into. however, a huge part of d&d is the spontaneity. 

it’s kind of why i think balance was so popular. while there was railroading towards the end, there was the presence of improv that made it all good. most mcelroy content is enjoyed because of the goofs. the magic brian moment is memorable. the jenkin’s fight still stands out because it was funny��(albeit a result of some bad rolls). the boys teasing angus sticks out because the four would play well off of each other. even without that - griffin had talked about how he had to roll with things (the fact he had planned for a fight atop the train, but ditched the idea for what his family members came up with instead). even in amnesty, a couple moments that stick out to me still are ned with the jetpack taking out a pizza hut sign, and the scene with the water where jake was trapped inside. they aren’t as fun, but they still stand out as “things i didnt expect to really end the way they did.”

with grad, it’s just. one after another. the thundermen want to subpoena a xorn? cool, let’s run with that until actually the xorn gets fed rocks and goes home and who cares about the subpoena now. fitzroy wants to keep his cloak? lets talk about it for a while and you also get no rolls to even try to keep it. fitzroy goes to meet higglemas in his office? oh, why are you here fitzroy? im going to keep asking you until you answer fitzroy? you arent getting out of this scene until you answer me, fitzroy, so just tell me why you’re here already, alright, fitzroy? 

and even later in a episode i read a transcript of: hey argo, remember how you have this whole secret motivation? fuck you, im gonna talk about it here in your dream and reveal it to listeners and remove any tension you had building up, and you dont get a choice to talk about it because this all-knowing villain knows all about it :)

and even NOW in the latest episode, there’s a comment that “we should cap argo’s skills here” instead of just... making the checks higher. rogues are good at certain things and usually arent the best in battles. better hope argo never makes it to level 11, because who knows how people are gonna handle the fact that he gets a skill that’ll make it so certain skills can’t have a roll below 10 (reliable talent). 

(griffin, thankfully, calls travis out for that, but still - travis, why would you even imply that, considering you should be aware of how rogues work considering magnus multiclassed into rogue and you played one on tiny heist?)

and in the newest episode, their Big Bad chaos (which, god, i personally hate that name) straight-out says “dont do this” to the thundermen. travis tries to say, on twitter, “a character saying “dont do this” is different than me saying it” but i need to point out that it’s one thing if you’ve said “no” in character but worked with the PCs doing otherwise, but the railroading says differently.

the shipping

ill try to make this quick, because it’s nothing to do with the fandom (ship however you want, man) - but i really feel the need to draw attention to this.

fitzroy, as confirmed by griffin in a ttazz episode, is asexual. not aroace, but ace nonetheless. and i find it... troublesome that the idea of rainer and fitzroy having a relationship is still pushed nonetheless, despite the fact that fitzroy (to my knowledge) was never once shown to reciprocate any feelings. not to be that person, but i really hope that grad doesnt have any sort of romantic relationships in it (at least - not between NPCs and PCs unless they’re actually like... warranted?). 

i dont know, man. one of my closest friends is ace, and i know she wants a relationship, but i think it would reassure her a lot to see an ace character who isn’t pushed into one in case she ever changes her mind. someone once mentioned that they hope fi/tz/ra/in doesnt happen because theres relationships that have that “oh, you can just date” and it goes upwards there to “oh, you can have sex just to please them <3″  (which, to be honest, is kind of a gross mindset - if someone isnt interested, they arent interested).

also, uh, the TTAZZ where griffin states this, there’s kind of the mention tht the whole sexuality question was posed in relation to the episode “creative thinking” (the dream one i mentioned earlier) - which. uh. i don’t know if anyone caught this, but... rainer straight-up wrote fitzroy a letter in the dream like “are you going to accept my proposal? a girl doesn’t like to be left waiting” which. leaves me with some gross feelings because uh.

if... if the whole thing about fitzroys sexual orientation was addressed here, then why would you push your ship anyway? feels kinda iffy, man.

to which i want to say: fitzroy can date. he’s allowed to date. griffins allowed to do whatever he wants with his character. but when a lot of the flirting is met with nothing, i’m not gonna see the chemistry there. just because travis ships it doesn’t mean it’s canon.

the npcs

ah yes. lets talk about the npcs.

there’s... a lot. a lot a lot. i think travis trimmed down how many were present in a scene, but uh. there’s still a lot. and... uh... i kinda wish there wasn’t?

look, i know im going back to balance/amnesty, but just. hang in there for a moment. chill with me. vibe. 

balance didnt have too many NPCs present at all times in each mini-arc. gerblins had some big names like barry, klarg, gundren, killian, yeemick, and magic brian. rockport limited had angus, jess, graham the juicy wizard jenkins, and all of the tom bodetts mentioned. 

amnestys first arc had mama, barclay, jake, dani, pigeon, kirby, minerva, and that was about it for like. big names? and not all of them were present in each scene. 

in the first episode of grad alone: gary, hernandez, jimson, rolandus, zana, rhodes, buckminster eden, rainer, leon, tomas, hieronymous, higglemas, stuart, jackle, bartholomeus, mulligan, groundsy, germaine/victoria/rattles (the skeleton crew). and those are the ones i wrote down (minus groundsy, who i just. ignores. idk him).

like holy shit, my english prof got onto me for having too many characters in my first chapter and i didnt even have half the amount listed there! 

it’s just a huge cast. does this take place in a school? yes! theres bound to be a lot of students present - but you don’t have to name every single one of them, at least not in the first episode!

the miscellaneous

i don’t know if travis ever actually addressed it, but wheelchair users have actually like... said that rainer’s introduction bothered them, because she was like “please ask me abt my wheelchair :)” when travis saying she was in an ornate chair would have sufficed.

the overall lack of d&d when the campaign was kind of advertised as a return to d&d if i remember correctly

also no one seems to be taking literally any criticism at all which like. ignoring the petty shit, sure, but people have stopped donating to taz and their listener-ship must have dropped some during this entire time - you’d think that maybe someone could say “we need to find out why people dont like the thing and fix the thing” consider this is. yknow. their livelihood.

anyway uhhh 

tl;dr: travis railroads way too much (even now), the shipping in-game has become pushy and gross (especially bc its shoving a relationship onto an asexual character), theres too many npcs that dont stand out well enough, and no ones taking any criticism about the major issues with grad.

I gotta list. That list only entails Mally because she’s who I care about the most. I’m probably gonna start instilling a new rule in all my blogs that if you ignore Mally and/or Darcy( @tasedandconfused ), since I would say they’re my two main blogs tho darcy gets ignored even more than mally does, probably bc i denied canon and left it entirely we know fandom hates that, if either of them is ignored then… Ya out of luck, I’m gonna unfollow you. I’m debating soft blocking everyone who ignored me on both of them but I don’t want to like be mean and deny the chance to eventually try again but at the same time i shouldnt feel bad for taking a stand and saying this is bullsheet, idk my anxiety says im awful for giving a fluff about myself but also i should give a fluff about myself probably, ive nearly died in the last three months, my brain almost exploded, i just had three root canals on one corner of my face, i have to potentially get surgery on my inner ear which i cant even afford, i dont got time to deal with only being used for like smut memes or like as a resource blog or utter bs like that, i dont got time for it. So new rules here. 1: If Mally or Darcy are not acknowledged, written with, responded to, viewed as more than just their fluffing bodies? ya dropped, im unfollowing, potentially soft blocking, which means blocking and unblocking for those not in the know, on all accounts I follow you on. Every single one. I know most of my muses are on sideblogs but despite not being able to send memes from sideblogs you can block people from sideblogs fun fact, i will do that if i have to. 2: I’m gonna be posting SCs, PCs, memes, etc. I like and respond to plotting calls, starter calls, i send memes, all of that. If I don’t get any response within.. I’m giving one week for people who don’t run on a queue and a month and a half to people on a queue based system, if i dont get anything within that time like at least an im being like ‘its posted’ or ‘its queued i wanted to let you know in case tumblrs a fluffbutt’ (i do this sometimes if i dont get even just a like on the starters i post so i at least know people saw it since i know tumblrs bs, i wait until the day they’re active to do so in case theyre busy yknow) basically i need acknowledgment at all. No you can’t claim this is abt follower count bc when you unfollow someone they inevitably unfollow you too, thats gonna drop my following, not as quickly as soft blocking would but i wanna be fair i guess, which leads to: 3: I’m basing this on your activity too, like if i like a think and you’re gone for a month after that its fine, im not gonna unfollow you unless you never come back or youre online and posting others just not mine because that tells me youre specifically ignoring me and im gonna drop you for that end of. I’m done with the bullsheet im done w the dillish behavior, i love friendship but if im giving and never receiving thats extremely one way and not gonna work. I check through my follow list weekly and i go back about five-10 pages on someones feed before i unfollow them to see their actual activity and see if theyre here or if its a q so. I’m thorough basically. 4: You dont have to be active with me on all your blogs, i mean i’d prefer it but thats hard as fluff so essentially if you have like five blogs and are just like trying w me on two or three thats fine. Ten blogs, four or five with at least a plot formed is cool. Multis just one muse is all I’d need. I’m not gonna unfollow the blogs youre not writing w me on if you at least write w me on some. Again, specifically Mally and/or Darcy. If you ignore both of them, we’re done. I havent been active on darcy because of being ignored and its a huge butt mess and im just tired i wanna use my babies, you don’t get to have my ‘better’ muses like i know a lot of ppl only follow me for my boys or my villains, you don’t get them if you ignore my baby. But, there is a limit there too. 5: If you never respond to a meme or thread even once with Mally or Darcy, or post a starter, i reply, its never replied to again after a month, I’m unfollowing and/or soft blocking for that too. Bc that means youre just raising my hopes to fluff with me or get someone else and honestly, youre even more cunty than than the people just flat out ignoring me if you do that. And this isnt a specific person, this is five of the people actually on my list. Yes, my list is also annotated with specifics again I was very thorough on this yesterday, I hyperfixated I’ll admit it, I’m in a fluffing depressionary bubble and being told to get over it because people want something they dont deserve to have to. I am a believer that people deserve good things but if youre purposefully being cunty… no you dont. 6: No I’m not releasing my list, maybe I will and I’ll omit the urls because I don’t want people being buttholes to each other too but otherwise, yall not seeing it im not giving a callout because… really thats just unnecessary here. Yes there will be some people who have priority, everyone has those people, I write w kathryn on other platforms since she doesnt go on here as often but when Kathryn returns from war here (if she does cause she also agrees most ppl on this platform are cunty, i feel really bad saying that word so often but im gonna keep doing it i recently deleted an ask saying I was a huge cunt for not sending someone smut memes when I didn’t even follow them or know they existed so, again the travesty of this place is nutballers) same with owly, alex is here too, my most active partners are always going to be priority because theyre the ones who show the most interest and the most care. I understand that with others as well which is why I have the timeframe set up, because I want to be as open and shizz as possible while atill being firm i guess. I don’t want to have extreme double standards like its impossible for double standards not to exist at least a little bit but I want to avoid a golden chest full of them I guess. 7: I don’t have a seven rn, this was an even number and it bothered me. Seven is nust my warning that I’m bittery writing this on mobile so formatting is not real but i tried my dandest to make this look like something people might actually mind. I dont want to be butty, i dont want to be awful, i dont want to start drama or have drama but that shizz comes around anyways so i might as well make my space as okay for me as i can cause im supposed to avoid stress so my brain doesnt almost explode again, like again i almost fluffing died i dont need ppl fake being my friend or anything, i want stuff to be real and clear. I want to be happy to be on here again and have fun like i used to since my health is plummetting and I’m not allowed to go outside near plants by myself anymore because i welt up. I have plants outside my work place and im surrounded by chemicals all day long I’m welted from here to new york constantly and never comfortable in my own skin because of it and constantly see people online acting like these actual real problems are pretentious because ‘its an excuse’ when, im a fluffing sagittarius, do you know how much i want to magically be a millionaire so i can pay for friends and my own medical stuff and go on traveling and adventures, be outside probably not camping bc as a pagan i know thats a death sentence but like be outside, lay on grass, go back to swimming because i used to swim competitively and due to health reasons i can barely even go in a pool anymore because theres too much sunlight which, bit plot twist i know, im fluffing allergic to vitamin D and the rays of the sun, so go figure, attempts to be healthy kill me more, i also cant eat most plants and am constantly dying from just eating food, they dont know whats wrong with me. i cant fix it by going ve/gan for a month inf act i tried and it almost made my heart stop thanks society. These arent excuses these are the lives of disabled and diseased and to a lesser but still very real point, ethnic lives every fluffing day. This is real shit and its murder and online and gaming? It may be all I have soon since I can’t just go out and make new friends cause, again, I’d fluffing die. I get sick going to the mall or the movie theater, I miss theme parks so much but have to minimize it to weeks i dont have work so i dont get fired for having a welt while working in the beauty industry. I may have to get a degree online and change my field entirely because of my illness that nobody understands. People even make fun of it constantly online and I wish I could just drop online entirely because of how unbelievably ableist the entirety of the world is, i wish i could drop humans in general for their ableism, but i cant. I don’t have choices in most cases, but throwing away people who maybe purposefully maybe unintentionally thats why i’m giving you this warning and will be repeating this warning for awhile, this is where i have choice. I have to use what little choice I have in life while I can since everytime i go to movies or a concert or a theme park i almost die because of not having an immune system that functions or being in certain air qualities pr being near plants or unclean people, I may not have much time and I gotta do whats best for what little mental health I have, and if that means dropping people i care about and really want to write with and do things with but who ignore me then, i guess so be it.
