Laughter filled the air, bouncing off the walls of Lewis' LA home. Miles was in the middle of a particularly dramatic retelling of his latest competition, complete with exaggerated hand gestures, while Daniel doubled over in his chair, tears streaming down his face. Y/N sat nestled between Lewis’ legs on the couch, a mug of lukewarm tea warming her hands.

The jetlag was a cruel beast. She'd arrived earlier that day, her body still clinging to the rhythm of a different time zone. The warmth of the mug and the gentle strumming of the guitar in the background were pulling her eyelids heavy, but she fought against it. These stolen moments with Lewis, surrounded by their friends, who were practically family, were too precious to waste sleeping.

"So, then I told the dude…" Miles continued, his voice rising. Y/N tried to focus, a smile plastered on her face. Lewis, however, wasn't buying it. He caught her gaze drifting towards the flickering fire in the fireplace, her blinks becoming increasingly heavy.

"Hey," he said softly, leaning closer. “You okay there?”

Y/N jolted, her head snapping towards him. "Yeah, I'm fine!" she stated, her voice a little too high-pitched. "Just… absorbing Miles' epic tale."

Lewis raised an eyebrow, amusement dancing in his eyes. "Right," he said, his voice teasing. "You're blurring your words together love, time for bed."

Y/N's smile faltered. Busted. She mumbled something incoherent about metaphors and Miles' dramatic license.

Lewis chuckled softly, his hand reaching for hers. "Come on," he said, his voice gentle but firm. "We can catch up on epic tales tomorrow. You need your rest."

"But…" she started, her voice a pitiful whine. "We only have, like, two days free before we leave, and I don't want to… sleep… when I could be spending time with you…”

Her words slurred together, the drowsiness winning the battle against her determination. Lewis watched her, a knowing smile playing on his lips. He knew her too well, but this was a whole new level of jetlag adorable. He glanced over at his friends, who were watching the exchange with knowing smiles.

"Guys," he announced, his voice carrying over the soft music, "hold down the fort. I think it’s time for Y/N and I to call it a night."

There were groans and good-natured teasing from his friends, but they readily agreed, a chorus of goodbyes following as Lewis placed a gentle hand on her lower back, guiding her towards the French doors leading inside.

Y/N swatted playfully at his hand. "I'm not that tired," she mumbled, but her eyelids were drooping like heavy curtains.

Lewis reached the doors and ushered her inside, the cool air hitting them like a gentle wave. He led her, stopping at the entrance to the bedroom. It was a haven of warm browns and greys, a stark contrast to the whites of the rest of the house

"Bed," Lewis said firmly, but with a smile. He knew better than to argue with a sleep-deprived Y/N for too long.

She pouted again; a childish expression that always seemed to get him wrapped under her fingers. "But this is our free night," she whined, her voice barely above a whisper. "I don't want to sleep. I want to spend time with you."

"And you will," he promised, pulling her into a hug. The warmth of his body soothed her, and she burrowed closer, the fight draining out of her.

"You're my favorite person," she mumbled into his chest, her voice thick with sleep.

Lewis chuckled, the sound vibrating against her ear. "That's good to know," he replied, kissing the top of her head. "Now, get some sleep, my favorite person."

He guided her towards the bed, pulling back the covers. As she lay down, sleep already tugging at the corners of her mind, Lewis joined her, wrapping his arms around her.

"You won't leave in the morning, will you?" she asked, her voice low and faint. "Not a chance" he whispered, nuzzling his face into her hair.

Well, while it did shock you how quickly he dropped that bomb on you, Grimbly always had this knowing look to his bright magenta eyes, somehow knowing you were into it, daring you to say otherwise. You rolled with it. Just as you rolled with his desire to be increasingly femme for you, to be under your supposed control and brag about how "possessive" you are to others.

While all of this was decidedly very scary and tentative for you, and at times continues to be, especially considering some of his prior tantrums- You can't really say that it isn't sexually satisfying. Because it is. More than it should be.

It's hard to stay mad at his underhanded little tactics when he flashes you a puppy look and agrees with your scolding, gets flustered by your anger- Tells you to discipline him.

It's mind-boggling how much control this bat monster has over you. You suppose you should be thankful that he doesn't need that much to stay happy. Just a draining level of attention and babying that is steadily becoming more second nature than a chore to you.

Two nights in a row he chose to spend with Tae. Ok. Whatever. Maybe Jimin was busy, right? But no, today Jimin said this: “ it would have been great if all the members could go together, but because we all busy with our individual work. But I'm still in the middle of preparations so I had time (other translation says *spare days*) in those few days after various film shoots and it happened to be on a weekend and Hoseokie-hyung also had a day off, so we went together.” So I have many questions here and confusion. Their stories contradict themselves, JK said he was totally free on Saturday, while JM said other members were so busy they couldn’t join even if he wished. I think JiHope visited Jin in the early afternoon, while JK fall asleep early in the morning (he woke up at 8 again, said he was tired and would want to sleep some more, it’s unknown if JK slept more). Soooo there’s several questions, and to be honest they don’t advantage jikook much. Just from following the situation: Jimin isn’t updated to JK’s life and didn’t know he was free that day? Your confusion and the essay you made out of it comes from a little mistake in calculations. You forgot that waking hours for a normal grown up human being is at least 16 hours per day, and they can do multiple activities at the same day, like having schedules (not necessarily Hybe-related things), working out or going to musicals, or bowling or eating outside, and still having spare time left. And the bowling didn't happen last Saturday, the photos are from November.

Also you forgot that boot camps don't accept visitors at night, so what if Jimin wasn't lying or covering for anything and JK actually had important business during the day? Or JK just had things to do but didn't want to spoil and just said he will work out?

Being a "baby army" is so overwhelming, because there are so many new things to learn and so many songs, but it's incredible, what people say that "you find them when you need them most" is very real. And I loved becoming an army during the pandemic, because I had plenty of time for them, and it was when I learned how it feels to dive head first into something that is so good for you, that we really have to invest in what makes us happy, no matter what it is. I didn't know I had so much love inside me until I met them and it's amazing how all fans say the same things

yes every word of this!! the pandemic…god, what they managed to do. the amount of work they put in, the escape they gave to people, the light they gave to people, the HOPE they gave to people! i will always be so fucking grateful for what they did because they didn’t have to. they literally upended their original plans, delayed things, rearranged their lives to make art that was never intended to happen and do whatever they could to keep life worth celebrating and powering through in such a dark timeline. i had more time back them then to give them even more of my attention and they earned the rest of my heart in the process. i had needed them soooo bad and i hardly realized it until it hit me like a ton of bricks that even though i liked them casually, it hadn’t been my time yet until motson:e. my army journey was slow and gradual, i like to think of it having multiple phases. but today would be four years since i graduated to a full fledged army and i really wouldn’t trade the slow build it took for anything. those baby army days are really precious and learning everything is such a personal experience because you also learn about yourself too and how much love you’re capable of feeling for something that makes you happy. even if you thought you knew what that felt like with other things, it’s different with bts. bts love is just different. 💜
