In-ho chose to vent his embarrassment on Dae-ho, taking the teasing a bit too far, even though it was Jung-bae's plan. Poor guy was fully aware he was destined to be the next target.

"wait wait wait. why..why me??" Dae-Ho felt like a child who was unfairly punished for something absurd. he knew in the look of in-ho's eyes that this man will wreck him out any moment.

"wait, w-we can talk about this! right jung-bae? you're on my side right??"

jung-bae noticed dae-ho's hopeful eyes..ohh he will be in alot of trouble.

meanwhile in-ho, his plan was hit successfully again (yh no shit). he still could feel the touch in his neck thought, still a little giggling in his words and the blush on his cheeks still continued.

"there is no reason to be afraid..it's just a payback. that's all."

the frontman knew what kind of innocent guy dae-ho was. he was probably driving him all into the flashbacks of the tickle fights he had with his sisters.. being the only boy among siblings isn't excatly a good thing.

jung-bae was apologizing in his mind several times, feeling bad each second it takes. why aint invisibility a thing?? it would help him and the next victim alot right now..

"things are about to start giggly..you ready, hm?"....

suddenly, in-ho experienced a sense of deja-vu. He had indeed used these teases before, back when he and his younger brother jun-ho still lived together. They used to play these games frequently. Although deja-vu isn't typically a great feeling for him, this time he found a bit of comfort and warmth in this particular moment.

number 388 was clearly overwhelmed. he was sweating and panicking over seemingly childish matters..why did he react so dramatic?

"...no, wahHIHit..!" his voice cracked. thinking about tickling aint making anything better, just the opposite! the frontman found himself unable to suppress a slight laugh.

in-ho's hands landed on dae-ho's sides, squeezing them and poking them from this side to side. number 388 tried to squirm away from the frontmans fingers but failed as it followed him. he let a giggle slip and after, a burst of his real laughter came out. it didnt sounded like his normal laughter, it was a little bit more lighter than usual. "eeeehehehe!! ohohokay wait wait WAHIHIHIT! ahahaha! nohohot you toohoho!" jung-bae joined in, just poking his dear friend slightly who was being tickled by 2 people now..oh the feeling of guilt pressed him down.

"im sorry.."

dae-ho tried to cover his face but poor guy forgot what his biggest secret was. he hiccups when hes getting tickled and one came out right away.

".....wow, did we just unlock a new method of laughter?."

as In-ho counted dae-ho's ribs, his mind somewhere else, he suddenly felt a cold run down his spine.

as in-ho's eyes met his, the atmosphere of the feeling he had became right the opposite. 2 hands landed on his sides..again. man, he was a grown adult..how many times did he catch himself in this state now?..gi-hun would not take him serious ever again, he thought.

there was no single noise coming out from in-ho, just really tiny squeals. seems like he was holding his laughter in.

at the same time, dae-ho. this could be his only villian arc. he was still laying down on his back, smoke coming out from his ears from all that laughter and hiding his eyes with his arm. a few giggles slipped out of his mouth.

"juhung-bahehe."

jung-bae was sitting innocently, like a little puddle that just broke a vase.

"yes?.."

a little silence contuined.

"may youhu cohome here.?"

"sure.."

he came to him closer, looking at dae-hos face. the awkward silence between these both still contuined.

"look, im sorry.."

he said, dumping all the "pain" into him while he tickled his dear friend unexpectedly. seriosly, jung-bae thought that dae-ho is maybe an understanding person, so he would understand his situation too he had 2 minutes ago.

more muffled screaming came out from in-ho. why did he end always up as a lee? this was kinda getting him mad. meanwhile, gi-hun scribbled his ribs again, like the way he did on that night before. a little giggle slipped out from the frontman.

"oho~! seems like a tickly bug got you. don't worry! i'll save you." gi-hun threatened him like a child, chuckling a little now. his tone seemed too playfully, felt like in-ho was his stressreliver.

with that attitude, in-ho jumped right infront of him, causing gi-hun to fall down on the floor.

damn, gi-hun forgot what kind of strong guy in-ho was. he didnt fight back at all..no. he wanted to see in-ho's true side. plus he wanted to be fair. he exposed in-ho infront everyone else.. so now they both are quit. was he scared? of course. will he maybe get punched in the face?..unknown.

Ok DFF finished and I’m mad

Started off so good, I was hooked. But that ending… 😒

Story was definitely interesting. The concept. The characters. All good. But the direction from possible supernatural, to whodunit, to a delve into the human mind kinda fell flat.

I guess it’s my fault for expecting something that just wasn’t gonna happen. I stopped my investigaytions when I realized what was happening. But it was still fun picking characters apart

Top. I dunno I thought there could’ve been more to his shitty actions. Thought he was secretly in love with Tee or White. Thought he was a secret agent for Tee’s uncle. Thought he would have some kind of secret. But nope.

Tee. Oh man there was a lot going on for this kid. I really went in liking him but when he started to manipulate Non I took a step back. I still felt bad for him for some reason. Then we find out more and how he and White met and started to pity him. Even his ending is just sad.

White. Poor Snow White did no harm. He came to play in the woods and had his heart stabbed. Finding out that someone you loved isn’t the person you thought they were hurts. Then having to go through all that stuff in the cabin ESPECIALLY when you didn’t even want to go? He really gave off final girl to me but in the end just an innocent bystander. Had he mustered up some courage though, ALOT of things could’ve gone differently.

Tan. Idk guys, manic is definitely a good look on this man. The irony of playing the older brother though. I think he may be first on the list of who had the most fucked up experience. Coming back home to your family like that. Leaving you all alone. Nothing but revenge on your mind.

He felt very main character out of the main characters. And I thought the film’s end with him being the only one that made it out the house was foreshadowing. White being as submissive as he was I thought he’d power up in the end at the critical moment. But when it turned out to be Tee. I thought Tee would pull a Romeo and Juliet. So now this two year jump confused me.

I was already thinking why none of them are in jail and why we don’t see the aftermath of Jin’s hand. And why would Tee just be at home

Phee pulling the “maybe we never left” card got me so upset. Because why. Was the drugs actually poisonous? Did they all consume too much? Why are Jin and Phee connected and with Tee? Was the antidote actually fake? Phee told Jin to wait for him while he went back for Tee. So was Phee “waking” from his hallucinations actually not him waking up? Because I questioned why the smoke wasn’t affecting him after he woke up. And then we hear the puff. For all we know there was never an antidote

I just wished they gave us a bit more than a shot of the house for an ending. Like the ambiguity wasn’t needed. Just say they all died and show all the bodies.

He's technically victorious the first time, having (mostly) solved all his friends problems and gained the (hesitant) approval of the old farts to guard the magic shit their trying to hide (only in the face of someone ELSE already being aware of and hunting it down for evil reasons) inorder to save the world. But at the cost of his mentors life and . . . Well he thinks he can do better alright? What if he just-

Okay so Betsy Beers' comment has really bugged me last night again out of the blue for some reason and here's what was said for context:

I just had to make this post now that I'm more awake:

It's no secret I had a hard time in film school - I've made references to it here and there and all my mutuals-friends know the full extent of it.

Basically film school kind of broke me, especially the boys. It truly reflected what's it like in the industry. Like yes it's slowly changing out there but at the heart of it, started as a Boys' Club and on some level for a l o n g time will be a Boys' Club

Just the tone of how Betsy was putting down the romance genre in the book left such a vile taste in my mouth.

The way she's said "I thought you hit your head" which is SO dismissive AF of Shonda's excitement for JQ (I say JQ and not HR cos Girlie has admitted to not picking another HR book at the time hopefully that has changed since developing the QC show). And ofc what she thinks is the "Cool Girl" response to say "I haven't touched a romance novel since I was a teen" like Okay you didn't have admit that so freely AS THE HIGHEST RANKING EXEC of a ROMANCE SHOW! Like the men around you aren't going to respect you even more for rejecting the romance genre, Betsy. You aren't the Cool Girl in the Boys' Club 🙄 It just makes you look like a bad exec of a romance show you're heading.

Also I emphasised on highest ranking exec because other than the showrunners, these two call the shots and have final say on everything at the end of the day. Alot of the storylines and how it's portrayed falls squarely on them along with Tom Verica (also another high ranking EP and director), CVD in S1 and 2 and eventually Jess Brownwell in S3. Which is why this convo is so deeply troubling as the two heads of a HR show - they truly do not understand ithe genre AT ALL and in Betsy's case she seems to hate it.

It hit me last night that I deeply despised the way she said these two things above, because it's hella misogynistic and reminded me of some of the shit said to me in film school.

So while I hate and regret that film school did a number on me, I will never regret not changing to fit them and becoming like one of these women who has to put down a whole genre like Romance just to fit in with the "Boys' Club" like FUCK THAT!

Anywas everyone fuck people like this and Embrace Romcoms, HR, and Romance babeyyy - they are great and feel good! Just because they are happy and traditionally female led and beloved, doesn't make it less meaningful or lesser of a genre compared more masc genres!!

(Also I'm not saying everyone has to love the Romance genre, just don't fucking shit on people who do love it or treat Romance as less than compared to Action or gratuitous male artsy cinema genres!!)

Thoughts on MagnusxFelix as a couple?

I thought about it. Especially while watching the first couple of episodes of S2 while subbing. Their friendship does seem alot deeper considering how Felix still sticks to him beside Magnus being a shitty friend at times in S1. But I can see that they both care about eachother. In their own ways.

But no imo.

It does look like with Felix that has a crush on him a little bit. Based how much he is touching him for no reason. I mean yes, Felix is a very touchy person and loves to hug people just randomly. But he does touch Magnus alot more on his face what he doesn't really do with the others. That's kinda sus.

The dynamic of " Grumpy-Moody- Don't touch Me × Sunshine Hugs everyone always in good mood" is fun not gonna lie. Or

" I like everyone but you the most×I hate almost everyone expect you."

But regardless I just see them as friends or kind of brothers. Really weird fucked up friends.

They have that friendship were neither of them is gonna bail out the other person out of jail because they are both gonna be in it.

I can definitely see why people would ship them. I just don't.

A romantic relationship would just ruin them for me. This friend like brother relationship is the best they have for me.

Other reasons:

On Magnus side:

Felix knows him. Very well. The best from the house. They two have been friends for years. In S1 he seems to be only one who knows that his father is in prison. Felix is also one of the only people Magnus kind of let's in.

But he doesn't understand him. And that's why I think Mara is better for him. She may not know him aswell as Felix. ( Although as the show processes she does know him quite well from hanging out with him so much) But she understand him better. Mara knows what it's like to feel insecure, jealous etc...

Magnus shows is insecurity and jealousy with Daniel. He feels less because Daniel is smarter than him. With Mara it's Delia because she feels like Delia is prettier than her. They both used to/ act salty of those two. Magnus feels "dumber" next to Daniel and Mara feels " uglier" next to Delia.

Mara knows what it's like to be jealous and do stupid shit because of that. Or used to do rather. As they both matured and aren't doing that anymore. S1.

She knows the feeling of being abandoned and being scared of being alone. They both like to be alone but not lonely. Both have been left out from people.

Like him she doesn't want people close to her have any secrets from her. She has the need to know everything just like him in. Maybe not to the same extent like him in S1. But it's still there. Magnus is obvious in S1. Mara is kind of like that in S2. When like 2 days after dating or so that he can't have secrets from her or she wants to read the letters he gets. (To be fair Magnus also acts suspicious so it's no wonder).

It's funny because if you watch S1 Ep1 you see those two character introduced. They seem to be the complete opposite. Mara as the good well behaved girl and Magnus as the bad rebel kind of guy. But as the show progresses, you see them having the same insecurities. Kind of rewatching some episodes and paying closer attention to it made me realise that they are in some cases more similar.

I think when Mara came back during the Halloweenparty and she confessed to him that she can be herself around him like he can, what they really meant is that they can be vulnerable around eachother. That they can really talk to eachother. The show doesn't show that, that much. Since the episodes are only 10 minutes long and the main plot is about solving the mystery, but they do hint at it.

On Felix side:

I think Felix deserves someone who is mostly in a good mood and isn't dragging him down. He does have fun with Magnus aswell. But he can be quite difficult to deal with at times.

Felix also said that Magnus can be quite boring at times. Which is ridiculous when he constantly hangs out with Daniel.

Another thing is. Felix does have this tendency to do over the top stuff to impress others. He wants to be seen admired. You can see how happy he is in S3 when Magnus compliments him when trying to get the little House back. Especially because it came from him. Because he rarely compliments others. And I just want someone for Felix who compliments him , with no problem. He deserves that.

But nevertheless, Diluc is happy to lend a shoulder if you need one.

♡For him to enter a relationship to you is already quite surprising in itself. He won’t be comfortable right away, heck, he might be awkward and embarrassed all of the time. But over the time you two spend together, Diluc would eventually be comfortable with you.

you opened the door to your apartment after a hard day at work. flopping onto the sofa and turning on the TV, not really paying attention to the six o'clock news.

that bloody Holland kid thinks he has the right to make your life a living hell. from the moment you met him he hated you.

you walk into the room flashing a smile to the people in there. you had been chosen to play a part in the new spider man movie. having quite a few successful movies under your belt you were well known.

you went round shaking hands with people, each one of them greeting you with a small smile and a hello. that was until you reached a certain individual.

"hi, I'm y/n" you say holding out you hand.

he looked you up and down with a grimace and looked at your outstretched hand, taking it in his and shaking it roughly.

"Holland, Tom Holland."

the buzz of you phone wakes you from your trance and you looked down to see your best friends name flash on the screen.

you quickly answer the phone and her voice can be heard throughout the room.

"sorry to bother you like this y/n but can we go out tonight? I had a shit day at work and need someone to take my mind off of it." she said.

"you read my mind, where do you want to go?" you ask, relieved to have an excuse to leave the house.

"how about the bar down the road from your house?" she said.

"sure, let me get changed out of my clothes first."

"okay I will be at your house in half an hour." she said hanging up the phone.

you run up the stairs and put on a black skirt and a pink shirt, touching up your makeup from filming and pulling on a pair of boots.

a few minutes later b/f/n (best friends name) rings the doorbell of your apartment and you go to greet her.

you reached the bar and grabbed one of the only remaining tables.

"so, what made your day so shitty?" you asked taking a sip of your gin.

"just my dickhead of a manager. he has given me about 5 projects and is expecting them all done by next week." she sighs rolling her eyes at you.

you snort into your drink "like your gonna get all of that done in such a short amount of time." you say.

"I know right. anyway whats going on with you?" she asked, knowing something was up. "is it that Holland guy again? I swear to god I will punch his nose in if he's done anything to you." she said, knowing how much he bothers you.

"there is nothing that you can do. he just gets on my nerves. I don't know what his deal is with me." you say.

"what does he do?"

"glares at me alot, won't speak to me unless its to criticise what I'm doing and just overall makes my life miserable." you say with a sigh.

"and you dad...?" b/f/n asked.

"same as usual, he still hates me and continues to tell me how much of a failure I am." you say rolling your eyes. your dad was a dick, you and him had never gotten on.

"I know, you just have to ignore him. he just doesn't see how amazing you are." she said smiling at you.

after a few hours of talking and forgetting your problems. b/f/n drove you home.

after getting undressed you collapsed on your bed, exhausted. falling asleep within seconds.

you woke up with a start and checked your phone. shit. you had slept through your alarm and you were going to be late for filming.

quickly pulling on clothes and fixing your hair and makeup you ran to your car and got to set only 15 minutes late.

"oh here she is, finally decided to show up did you?" came a chastising voice.

you sighed, knowing immediately who it was, choosing to ignore the comment you walked to your trailer.

the hair and makeup team quickly got to work on you, making you look amazing within minutes.

after throwing a quick thanks over your shoulder, you rushed to set and got told what scene they were filming and where to stand.

half an hour later you heard a "and cut, great job guys. go and get read for the next scene."

you quickly checked your script and realised that you were needed for the next scene, opting to go to your trailer and wait to be called.

suddenly your phone rang, making you jump. you picked it up before checking who it was, assuming it was b/f/n.

"oh you've finally decided to stop ignoring my calls have you?"

shit, it was your Dad. "hey dad, and for the record I wasn't ignoring them. I was working."

"yeah, what job again? that acting thing of yours? how many times y/n, thats not a job."

"okay" you whispered quietly, just wanting this to be over.

"your such a worthless bitch you know that? even your Mum thought that before she died. it was probably you who killed her. admit it y/n. you killed her." he said, trying to press your buttons.

"how many times Dad, the doctors said that she died of a heart attack. it wasn't me." you say.

"pfft, your just covering for yourself. how about you buy me a new house to make up for it?"

"Dad, I just bought you a new house, and a new car. surely you can't need anything bigger." you say, knowing he is just using you but feeling guilty for saying no nevertheless.

"well I want new house, maybe somewhere by the sea. or some big mansion." he said.

"but Dad i was planning on giving some of that money to charity and the rest was going to s/n (siblings name) school fund. so that they can go to a good school."

"fuck s/n, I want a new house. and if you don't then you really would be as fucking annoying as your mother. your no good for anything." he said, hanging up the phone.

a tear trickled down your face. you should have known all he wanted was a new house, new car. why not get a new fucking kid while he's at it. you bought him a new car last month and a new house the month before that, surely he doesn't need another one.

a knock was heard on the door of the trailer that you had accidentally left open. you spun around to see Tom, worry etched across his face. he walked into your trailer.

"hey y/n, are you okay?" he asked, putting a hand on your arm.

"get off of me" you say, shrugging him off. "why would you care anyway, you've had this grudge against me ever since I started here."

Tom's face fell. "I'm sorry y/n I didnt mean to treat you like that."

"then what did you mean to treat me like because it was pretty damn obvious that you hated me. everyone saw it." you said.

"it wasn't you." he said looking down shamefully.

"look if this is about what you overheard with my Dad, don't worry about it. don't tell anyone and continue treating me like shit." you say, turning away from him again.

"no y/n what I overheard made me feel really guilty for treating you how I did. what I did was wrong and it wasn't your fault for how I treated you." he said, grabbing you and forcing you to look at him.

"then why did you do that to me?" you asked, confused.

"just before we started filming me and my girlfriend had broken up, she was toxic and would hit me and scream at me." he said, tears clouding his vision. "the day we started filming was the day I ended it with her, so I wasn't in the best mood. but when you walked in I could of sworn it was her. your hair and eyes are similar but your face is completely different."

"so from a distance I looked like her?" you asked, beginning to put the peices together in your head.

"yes. you had such a kind personality, always caring about others and everyone else loved you. but I couldn't get it out of my head. I guess that's why I treated you so badly, because you looked so much like her."

"Tom you could have just said something, I would have understood." you say, looking at him.

"I know I'm sorry." he said. "how are you, what happened with your Dad?" he asked.

"he keeps asking for new stuff, I just bought him a new house but he wants another one, and he wants a new car when he has the newest model. but at the same time he's always telling me how worthless and stupid I am, and how this acting thing isn't a proper job." you say, "maybe I'm just being selfish."

"no y/n, your not being selfish. I heard what you wanted to put that money towards instead of buying him stuff that he doesn't need. a selfish person wouldn't give to charity and help with paying for s/n schooling."

"are you sure?" you asked, doubt seeping in.

"very sure." he said, "is there anything you need, I could say that you are ill or something, give you some time to think over what happened with your Dad?"

"no I'm okay." you say.

"how about you come round to mine after work, we could talk everything out."

"yeah okay, I'd like that."

after filming was over, you drove over to Tom's apartment. he answered the door quickly and let you in.

you sat down on his sofa and admired the little things he had "borrowed" from the sets of different movies.

"do you want a drink?" he called from the kitchen.

"can I have a f/d (favourite drink) please?" you call back.

"sure."

he came back in with your drink and a coke for him.

"look about what happened today with my Dad, I never meant for you to overhear that and I would appreciate it if you didn't tell anyone." you say, looking down at your drink.

"your secrets safe with me, and if you don't mind me saying. your Dad is a bit of a dick." he said, smiling kindly at you.

"tell me about it." you laughed. "he's been like that ever since I can remember, he's always favoured my siblings over me." you say bitterly.

"well don't tell them but I prefer you." Tom said, trying to cheer you up a bit. "and I'm glad I overheard that conversation, because it made me think about I had treated you. and I'm starting to think that there was maybe another reason I didn't like you." he said sheepishly.

"and whats that?" you ask.

"I kind of liked you. I still do. after what happened with my last relationship I was scared I guess but I don't want to fuck anything up. I really like you y/n, I never meant to treat you like I did but I was pushing you away so that I didn't fall further than I already have." he said, blushing furiously.

"well Tom, maybe I like you too. thats why it hurt so much when you were horrible to me." you say. "do you just like me because I look like her?"

"no no no, that's not it at all. I like you because you have this sort of aura around you, people love you and your so nice to people." he said. "I like you because of your personality, the fact that you look slightly like a toxic ex has nothing to do with it." he added as an afterthought.

"aura?" you asked, furrowing your eyebrows in confusion.

"yeah, people sort of want to protect the innocence you radiate. your aura makes everyone love you and it's how your smile brightens up a room and how you look when the sunlight hits your features." he said, gently placing his hand on your cheek, forcing you to look up at him.

"I'm sorry for how I treated you, and it's my fault, but maybe we can start again?" he asked.

"okay." you say smiling up at him. before pulling away from his hand and sticking out your own. "y/n y/l/n, nice to meet you." you say.

"Tom Holland, pleasure." he said shaking your hand.

you turned around as the shrill sound of your phone broke the brief silence, checking the called ID this time you saw Dad appear on the screen. you look over at Tom in fear, showing him the screen.

"answer him y/n, maybe he wants to apologise. and I'll be right here with you" Tom said, flashing you a reassuring smile.

"okay" you said picking up the phone and putting it on speaker so that Tom could hear better. motioning to him to be quiet, him nodding in response.

"hi Dad." the fear in your voice evident.

"how's the new house you were going to buy me coming along? don't forget I want a big one." he said.

"actually Dad, I've thought about it and I just bought you a new car and house. the money is going towards s/n schooling and charity. I don’t think that you need anything else." you say, smiling weakly at Tom who gave you a thumbs up. egging you on.

"I don't care what you think, I'm your parent and you should listen to me. you are such a selfish bitch I don't even know why I bothered with you." he spat down the phone. "you are just a waste of space and I don't know how you made all of this money, who would ever want to employ you?"

"Dad you're not guilt tripping me into buying anything for you like you did last time. I'm not doing it." you say, tears beginning to cloud your vision. Tom noticed this and put his hand on your leg gently. in order to calm you down.

"you're such a fucking bitch. I never want to see or hear you again." he spat, hanging up.

as soon as he had hung up the phone, tears started falling down your face. Tom reached up and wiped away some of your tears before pulling you into his chest.

"hey hey hey, it's okay calm down." he said kissing your forehead and pulling you back into his arms.

"he hates me and its all my fault." you choke out before collapsing into tears again.

"its not your fault, your Dad is just being selfish and is only using you for your money. don't listen to him." he said, stroking your hair to comfort you.

"do you want me to go and get you something? ice cream maybe?" Tom asked.

"no, please don't go. I need you." you say.

"okay, I'm right here love. don't worry I'm not going anywhere." he said.

eventually you fell asleep, with his arms around you and your head on his chest. before Tom drifted off he kissed your temple and whispered "I'm so sorry y/n, I love you."

I'm back from my mandatory two day socialization recovery period required for all socialization even if I enjoy it. It's time for some Mermaid!Din au thoughts (No thots unfortunately but we'll live)

First off I love the isolation that the reader faces because of the lighthouse they live in. And I love how the townspeople being nice to the reader help give them a reason to stick around when weird things start happening.

I love how it took months before anything strange starts happening, like were Din and Grogu just not around or were they observing the reader. Did Din ever try to stop Grogu from damaging the lighthouse or did he let the little rascal do as he pleased.

· And gosh I love the idea of reader dressing in old worn clothing, a knit sweater with fraying sleeves, sweat pants covered in paint from repairs, an old windbreaker to help keep the cold out. It makes me heart all warm and fuzzy.

Edna, who i've head cannoned as this series Miss Chatham (H2O: just add water charter) is honestly life goals. Like live near ocean - check(ish), have rare knowledge that can be used to help new person - check, being just slightly spooky -amazing. And is that a little matchmaker I see her playing? I love it.

Then Grogu being injured :( I bet that Din is absolutely being eaten alive by guilt even though we all know it’s not his fault and he does literally anything he can to keep Grogu safe and happy.

And In love how Din is venerable enough to ask for help, like he recognizes that this is something out of his area of expertise so he goes to the person he knows is “safe” to get help. He’s humble enough to admit that he needs help and is not capable of doing everything for Grogu. And being able to admit that is an important life skill that not enough people have.

· But even after he ask the reader for help he is still hesitant which shows that even though hes trusting reader he will still kick (is it still a kick if its with a tail) the readers ass if he hurts him.

“But you can help him” Oh my heart the trust in that sentence. Like Din just heard, “so yeah I can help your son but I have to take him somewhere it will be hard for you to follow. And he needs to stay there for at least a week, and even if you manage to come its going to be so far from your natural element.” But he was still on board with the plan. And then he goes to climb on the rock so he can drag himself all the way to the light house because he can’t let his little boy go alone even if it means hurting himself to do it.

Reader was smart af for doing the old blanket slipperaroo trick

Reader immediately knowing something was up when she walked into town is so realistic. She literally is hiding a massive secret at her lighthouse of course anyone would be on edge walking back into society. Especially a society that already knows a little something about the secret. But them to amplify it. Miss Chatham to the rescue. She knows that reader is up to something and she uses her powers as an old lady with lungs and karen potential to scare off the problem for a little bit. The reader just placed so much trust on Edna by straight up telling her that she's housing Din and Grogu.

· Also that fool browsing the menstrual hygiene rack, like dumbass. Is this your way of making him miss every shot? Because we know that storm troopers are well known for their ability to miss every shot so making him automatically turn to tampons? Genius

The "cyare" omg and then the reader warning Din about the cookies and him being so curious about them. The way Din is so perceptive of the readers mood that he is already able to tell that something is wrong. It was such a smart idea to have the reader lead with asking him to give her a small chance to calm down about what happened in the town.

Din and the reader low-key flirting and teasing each other at the end is so adorable. Grogu with the cookie absolutely melts my heart like of course that boy is hungry.

So this is a slightly polished layout of my stream of consciousness while reading this. Does it make sense? Probably not. But I love this idea and you have done it justice.

To reply to some things:

Honestly, I chose the isolation for two reasons, 1- it made sense, especially for how the plot is going to play out, privacy and isolation is needed, and 2- im introverted and I like being alone, so I just projected

The town's people are great! They are used to having lighthouse keepers just up and leave because of all the weird stuff, so the second that one sticks around they were all overjoyed, because like I said, a lot of the people work on boats fishing so the lighthouse is super important to them

Din did wait and observe the reader, wanting to know what to do when to attempt to scare them off. But also like no, he tried keeping Grogu away from the lighthouse as much as possible, not knowing what the reader might do to him, and just being a protective father, but we all know Grogu is a little shit and he snuck out before Din could stop him

Reader dresses in the COMFIEST clothes, and honestly, I am very much a sweater and comfy leggings kind of person, so again, something I am projecting

I love that you and everyone is loving Edna, she is definitely one of those cool old ladies that sneak you treats and shenanigans when no one is looking!

Also because idk if anyone has pointed it out.... in the last chapter I thought I was heavily hinting at it, but maybe it was more subtle than I thought, Edna and her MERMAID were alot more than friends *wink wink* she's gay as fuck and thats why she made the joke about not liking NUTS

Din loves Grogu, in and out of this AU, and it was 1000% not his fault that Grogu got hurt, in fact he was trying to protect him! Din definitely panicked and the first person that came to mind was the reader, and while he didn't know them, he knew for some reason they were safe to go to for help (as well as knowing the lighthouse would be a good place to hide while some things cooled down 👀), but Din will always be cautious because he is scared for his son

Din is just *chef's kiss* 👌, an amazing father who will do ANYTHING for his son, no matter what it takes

The whole blanket thing literally came from my childhood, thinking about how my sisters and I would drag eachother around on blankets, and I just thought it would be great for this scenario

Like the reader is gonna get real paranoid during this series, im not going to lie to you, things are gonna get rough, but Edna is the MVP she's one of those people that could pull your darkest secrets from you just by glancing at you, and the reader pretty much assumed she was safe to talk to after she had informed her about the food offerings

Ok ok, as for the dudes, I was too lazy to look up their names and stuff but they were these dudes from season 1 that gave Din Grogu's bounty: the first dude is the one 'hiding' in the women's hygiene section

Din is just obsessed for human food at this point, and he feels things for the reader even of he doesn't want to admit it quite yet

Din also may be oblivious as fuck, but he's also observant, hes a bounty hunter for fucks sake, he needs to be able to pick up on these things, so yes in my stories Din is really good at picking up on emotions, even if he doesn't fully know how to react to them

Im aiming for a slow burn foc, but to be honest with you all, chances are it is going to be a regularly paced romance, which for my writing is slow paced, so yeah the idiots are flirting and teasing eachother, but also like they will not be talking about or admitting feelings for at least a few more chapters

Grpgu deserves all the cookies!!! He's a growing tadpole, who has been magically healing himself while in a coma like state, so he hasnt eaten in days, and if he wanted he'd probably be able to devour 2x his body weight and then some, so a few cookies recieved in some kind of mysterious way are well achieved

4.5, (just any blighter Jekyll): ALSO we dont have to worry about the blighters caring when Jekyll leaves because they tend to change sides rather easily when the twins conquer their section. So I doubt many Blighters are loyal, and I doubt Jekyll is in a high enough position in the gang to be worth caring about. The only reason he stays in is because of his brothers. Hey do you think the gang would keep the Jekyll brothers' death a secret from him? So he doesn't leave? ALSO ALSO, I saw some asks and I really dont think Jekyll would ever be a templar, the templars are loyal to their cause, and they know full well Jekyll doesn't want to be there, his brothers may be templars but it's far more reasonable hed be a blighter, the templars would never put someone who hated them in their midst. (He would look good in a templar outfit though)

1. Imagine Jacob teaching Henry to do leap of faiths on the roof, a Lodger walks up and just manages to see the tail end of what they think is someone trying to encourage Henry to take suicide. They watch as both of them fall and the Lodger scream and runs to the edge... Only to hear laughter and see Henry and that guy poking out a haybale. That would be fun and also a very easy way to get a heart attack <3

2. Ehehehehe yes!! That's why I love Jacob so much bc Evie just... Insults the horses, or isn't as sweet to them so Jacob my beloved. Jacob and Henry retiring and starting a horse farm together and they get to be happy and take picnics in the forest on horseback and the events of the Jack The Ripper DLC never happens <3 3. He definitely would name all animals he owns smt really sweet. He probably would silently nickname any and all of the animals in the Society and refuse to call them by their names once he actually learns them <3<3

Jekyll and Roth being pals until Jekyll realizes how fucked up Roth is, deliberately deciding to take a few steps back but still using Roth as an excuse to get out of Blighter work and also be the star of plays. Roth would gush on about how his eyes are set on Jacob and Henry would first think he was planning to kill him but then he realizes that Roth is just very gay for the enemy.

OOH I HAVE BEEN DAYDREAMING ABOUT THAT SO HARD. Ok mainly it was them already knowing each other but Henry is too busy saving the others so he gets caught and trapped inside the building. Jacob sees him almost passing out from all the smoke and saves him. But I can also imagine Jacob trying to escape and seeing Henry getting caught by burning ceiling beams after having helped everyone else escape so Jacob carries him and ziplines over the debris and until they get to the door... Henry realizing that this is the Jacob Maxwell was working with (or if they met before when Jacob was in the theater, he realizes why Maxwell fell for him) Mmm... Traumatic meet cute <3 I think Jacob has a canonical fear of fire after that, but either way, gimme the two of them both having nightmares about fire and spending late nights cuddled up in blankets comforting each other <3

4.5 I honestly would not put it past them to try to hide it from him but if it was he who killed them, they wouldn't be able to keep it a secret very well... That would certainly be fun to imagine <3

True but blighters are more... The actual gang, ya know? Like they are the fighters and street ruffians and stuff and Henry certainly would not be the same kind of fighting guy like Blighters and Rooks, so I'm mostly just saying Templar because it would fit his role and position better, even if he doesn't want to be. Being a templar also seems to be a bit of an inherited role as well, smt that gets passed down from family and stuff (like, say, if you take a look at the Kenway family and if I remember correctly from them) so it probably would not be impossible that Henry would be forced into being a templar. Maybe not a real templar like his brothers but certainly somewhere between Blighter and Templar. I don't know, I just say templar bc I can imagine Henry in that role better, y'know? XD Or maybe he and Roth would share the title as the leader of the Blighters... Oooohh... That would be fun <3

Meanwhile a literal alien without a mouth that is mimicking a human 10 year old is just stalking her behind multiple statues watching her listen to music and dance- (a little thing about ingis' species- They mimick the first thing they see on a species they mimick-) so ingis followed her around and watched her clean- So ingis (while summer was taking a nap because she works at night-) got to explore and dance freely due to the fact the security doesn't do their job- and saw a basement part of the museum and walked over to it- and looked down it- and jumped down it-

She fell face first /hj

But the important thing is that there's a secret fucking organization under the museum that is keeping creatures and can literally fucking bend reality-

But summer wakes up and finds the same basement- Went down- And caught up to ingis since she was sitting down and zoning out- Summer was reasonably confused and concerned but ingis honestly didn't care- ^^'

Oh also there's a dude who's name is literally mysterious figure because we were uncreative about their names but he basically killed the organization's leader so he's just chilling on a platform because guess what

The place is full blown surrounded by traps

So basically they just go through the traps and meet

Fucking

Goose

I cant get over the fact we named the primary antagonist fucking goose but

Goose was the organization's leader and fucking tries to kill everyone- but summer + ingis keep being "annoying" so goose uses those reality bending powers and fucking throws them into a void that has a random door- (which ingis fucking broke down with a damn s l e d g e h a m m e r) On the other side of said door is a tv with a remote in front of it-

So since ingis and summer wanted to know why a tv was there summer just looked through channels- It all seemed normal until a game show called Learn to laugh showed up- Summer tried to change the channel but it didn't work- But the host of the game show and a contestant are on screen- but ill just copy and paste the message she sent about the stuff because its alot of dialouge- ^^"

"Summer was still unwillingly watching. The game show host was scaring her. An exchange with one of the contestants made her come to that opinion. That exchange was happening when they were on the subject of phoning a friend. They were also on a dunking booth.

(Contestant) "Alright I think I'm gonna need to phone a friend for this question."

(Host)

"Phone a friend? Dont you mean 𝘧𝘳𝘢𝘮𝘦 a friend?"

"Haha. What?"

"Dont you remember Thomas?"

"T-Thomas? Who's that?"

"Thomas Ton Flocker. Your 𝘣𝘦𝘴𝘵 friend from middle school. "

"H-huh?"

"Dont act like you dont know him."

"But I dont know him-"

"You cant lie to me Lee."

"I-I.."

"You lied straight to the cops about him."

"U-um..."

"You knew where the body was since you hid it."

"..."

"Dont give me the silence treatment Lee."

"..."

"𝕎𝕙𝕒𝕥 𝕕𝕚𝕕 𝕀 𝕛𝕦𝕤𝕥 𝕤𝕒𝕪 𝕃𝕖𝕖?"

"..."

"Look I didnt do it!"

"Really?"

"I.."

"Well?"

"...."

"Admit it."

"You can't get me to admit to it."

"Well if you dont wanna admit it,"

The host moved closer to the dunking booth. They hit the target with their hand, which made the contestant fall into the water. There formed a roof over the dunking booth, which trapped the contestant and drowned them.

Not so fun fact- we wrote this when she was ten and I was fucking 9

But- The game show host started manically laughing at the contestant drowning- And summer was forced to laugh too- (because she's the one who touched the remote she's basically forced to act like the host-)

And the host barely took any breaths between laughing- So ingis had to comfort summer by hugging her- summer started laughing again- so ingis let go of her and covered summer's mouth-

Ingis kicked the tv- barely effecting it- but she then handed the sledge hammer used to open the door to summer and wrote down that summer should hit the tv with the sledge hammer- So summer did- which made the host fall back and stop laughing- Summer could finally breathe but fell back too- But turns out the tv getting hit effects the host- He walked over to where the supposed "camera" that was filming the show and said "Dont try to get rid of me because you'll never succeed."

( that's a actual quote from that- ^^' )

But ingis grabbed the sledge hammer and hit the tv again just to spite the host- Which hit the host in the head- so he fell back again- Bleeding from the head- ( dont ask how he's still walking i don't know either )

Ingis tried to comfort summer since she could feel the hit that the host felt-

But then they literally got dragged into the tv while ingis and summer were talking-

They got dragged onto the floor of the game show set- then proceeded to get covered in blood because of the host bleeding from the head and blood from prior contestants-

Ingis got up and jumped around trying to get it off- Which didn't work but still- Then saw the host and hid behind summer since she was taller than ingis-

But the host walked up to them- which made them both back up alot-

This is what the actual thing says- ^^'

'The host stepped closer. Summer backed up which caused Ingis to back up to. The host kept coming closer and both Summer and Ingis kept backing up. Eventually, the host started to speak while.

"Dont back up to far."

Ingis and Summer both looked behind them. They realized they weren't on a normal stage. They saw seats that were far down from the. They couldve dyed if they fell from that height. In the seats, they could see people. People with bloody bodys. They didnt look like they were alive. Blood was just smothered all over the seats, floor, and people.'

And the next part--

"That would obviously hurt. I mean, they literally died." said Summer. The game show host looked at the two of them and release the ropes from them. Both of them looked back at the host. He started to glitch out like the so called glitching silhouette. They were both startled. Both backed up. Then Ingis felt something hit the ground. It was a dead body. It made a very loud noise. The game show host then backed away from the both of them and went over to the tank. He pulled the man out of the tank. Summer and Ingis tried to get away, but they literally had no where to go. The host pulled out something from the mans pocket. He pulled out a weapon. More specifically, a gun. He walked up to Summer and Ingis, who could do nothing but try to not die or fall to their deaths. He put the gun up to Summer's chin. Summer was breathing heavily.

"I guess your the contestant now."

"Please just do anything."

"I may do something," The game show host said while rolling his eyes. He then switched over to a cheery voice.

"but that'll be your fault for not answering the question correctly!"
