ANOTHER KNIGHT AU CHAPTER BEFORE I GO TO SLEEP!!! GOOD NIGHT EVERYBODY

Eteled was a bit confused onto what was deeper in the cave. Cm never showed him, so he decided to ask him.

"Is there anything further in the cave?" He started, gently messing with the dragon's tail.

"Mhm. Quite a few things. Like a bathroom, kitchen."

Eteled was a bit confused. "You serious..? You mean I didnt have to-" he decided to cut himself off, going onto a different topic.

"Why did you never tell me?"

"It was never a topic that came up. I'm sorry."

Eteled facepalmed, and sighed shortly after. "It's fine. He stopped messing with Cm's tail and stood up. "Could you take me?"

After nodding, Cm stood up as well and took his hand, leading him further into the cave; Hermes following closely behind.

As they walked, Eteled noticed his sword that was discarded when they first met. When he remembered their short battle, he realized how Cm was so reluctant to killing him. Was his plan all along just to keep him there? Or was it just something he thought of at a whim?

His thoughts were cut off once they arrived. There was a whole living room area, a door that led to tons of jewels given by the sign on the door, a bathroom, and a kitchen.

"Did you build this?"

Cm sat down on the couch and nodded. "In a way, yes. I managed to create it with my magic. If you want, we can probably move all of the stuff from the start of the cave to back here if you wanna be over here instead."

After a quick response of 'yes', cm helped eteled bring every thing to the back of the cave. Once they were done, Cm conjured Eteled up a room so the both of them would have their own rooms.

Eyed was fine with it, and managed to convince Cm to create a stable for Hermes as well.

After reluctantly finishing up, Eteled thanked him, and went to check on Hermes as it stayed in it's new stable. It was a little away from the main area, but not too far.

After getting a tour from Cm, Eteled decided that he was going to take a nap since he was getting quite tired. Cm understood, and let him go get some rest while he went to Hermes' stable to try and bond with it some more.

It's been about a week or more since Eteled's disappearance. Everyone just marked him as 'dead' and moved on, despite Sam's empty protests.

She couldn't do anything about it, as her superiors forbid her to go out for a few days because of an incident with her and Kyle.

Thankfully, she could still hang out with Kyle after the whole incident. The both of them decided to get something to eat, and assess the problem.

"Hes still alive, I can just feel it. I just dont know why anyone would just immediately accept that he's dead!" She angrily picked away some wood at the table they were sitting at.

"I dunno either. But there has to be a reason." Kyle spoke quietly, taking a sip from his cup.

"Youre right. Hey, I have an idea."

Kyle looked over at her, a bit curious.

"Once we're allowed to go back out, I say we check that weird cave on top of that village we visited a few times."

Kyle shrugged, and just agreed. "Sounds good to me. But do you know how many days we have left?"

Sam shook her head. "No clue, I haven't been keeping track. But I'm sure it wont take that long!" She said, quite optimistic.

"I swear, Ill find out the truth if it's the last thing I do!"

We decided to begin our journey but along the way Etelle’s sister Serena decided to join us. (Viridia) “You don’t have to help us you know”, (Serena) “I want too, to be honest I could do with some time away from the Sky Temple”. We passed many towns occasionally taking a rest in their inns every so often as we felt exhausted from the travelling. As we were about to leave a city by cliffs that lead to the Stone Bridge Village we heard some rumors. (Citizen) “I heard a squad of knights were investigating this area for some reason”, (Aurora) “I wonder if its the Flame Captain hunting the Witch”. (Crycelia) “Could be but the Emperor may also have sent men over hear in case he felt we needed backup”. (Zutera) “Let’s just hope this does not lead into a huge battle” we left for the mountains and began to try and find the village. It was a bit of a struggle but eventually we reached a peak and saw a path leading down towards some village. (Mysterious Voice) “I’m afraid to tell you this is how far you go” a squad of knights blocked the path we turned to see who the leader was.....

(Aurora) “Wait Gale Captain why are you getting in our way I thought you wanted to help the Emperor?”. He then turned his back to us (Gale Captain) “My loyalty is to my brother who asked me to eliminate you all”. He pulled out a sword and ordered his men to attack us, (Serena) “I got this don’t wast your aura”. The group of knights attempted to attack, “Inferno Depths Ruin” she took out all the knights with a wide spread attack. (Gale Captain) “Air Slasher”, Serena guarded the attack with a flame generated from her hand. (Serena) “Sorry but you are no where near my aura’s power Inferno Spiral”. The attack hit him hard and he seemed to be very dizzy and he almost fell off a cliff, (Crycelia) “Look out if you fall from here you will die”. (Gale Captain) “Even after this attack you are still concerned about me you are true Guardians who care for the people”. He made no attempt to get away from the edge but seemed to want to talk more so we hoped that would convince him to get away from the edge.

(Zutera) “Why did you help us before by giving us crystals” he looked like he was in inner conflict before speaking. (Gale Captain) “My brother is the Flame Captain at first he believed after stopping Zhekui the Emperor would back stab all of you. However he did not so he left, however he wanted me to keep tabs on you, he wants the Emperor dead so he can try and over throw the capital and claim the throne. With your group split he wanted me to weaken you all so the assassins would finish you off but I never stood a chance”. (Aurora) “Air Bl...”, (Crycelia) “AURORA STOP” she hit away the attack, “It is our duty to stop pure evil not those are pressured to help their family”. (Zutera) “Give me your hand so we can work together”, (Gale Captain) “I already betrayed your trust bye Guardians create a peaceful future AAAAAAAAGH”. He had taken a step back and we could not see his body from the edge. The rest of the Knights left and we had no choice to move on to stop the assassins however we were all speechless.
