I feel like I’m in a Mandela Effect thing, does anyone else remember a therian podcast from a couple years back, it had a handful of episodes, the hosts (one man one woman I think) were both wolf therians and they would just discuss different topics about being nonhuman. I can distinctly remember a portion of one episode talking about things they do while shifted and the guy talked about eating a bunch of chicken wings and guarding the bones or something. I remember enjoying their content but I can’t seem to find any trace of it anywhere and of course I can’t remember the name.

i plan to! Tho my theriotype isnt incredibly rare i havent found very many other otter therians, but id love to read about other experiences and share those on the pod or even have a guest or two who have rare kintypes talk about what its like

Fellow creatures I am once again recommending one of my FAVOURITE podcasts, Monstrous Agonies by Hero over at @monstrousproductions

Especially now that I'm here in the alterhuman community, I really really cannot recommend this podcast enough. You all will almost certainly love it, and even more, I think you'll find some comfort and maybe even advice in it that you won't find elsewhere.

MA is a (fictional) advice podcast where a radio host answers writren-in submissions from the 'creature community.' And while this may be a little more leaning towards otherkin, I think a lot of therians will enjoy it too. Especially fellow werewolves.

I've found a lot of comfort in this podcast and I'm re-listening to it currently and finding even more reason to love it now.

Anyway. Please go listen. Hero is a fantastic and wonderful storyteller. You won't regret it.

I so genuinely love the way Johnathan sims narrates the magnus archives. Its like, cozy crackling spooky tales and I want my tale to be narrarated like that.

Like, statements made about me.

The horror of the woods or the guy at work thats not quite right.

The man who’s kind and loving but macabre and deranged behind closed doors.

That neighbor who seems friendly enough only to discover they aren’t quite human.

btw paleokin and fishkin you should check out Ray Troll, he’s a paleo artist paleo musician and runs a paleo podcast, a lot of his work also centers fish (paleo and otherwise)

Yk, the time when I assigned myself the hunt is actually kinda funny now that I look back on it. "Oh I'm really drawn into the idea of the hunt so I guess that makes me a hunter??" Yo Mr. Radguy if you want sympathetic monster content you should check out the podcast Monstrous Agonies. It's an advice show for monsters/other creatures of the night. It's very queer and is unapologetically weird. I think you'd like it

I am REALLY bad about getting around to listening to podcasts but then when I do I inhale like 4 hours of them at once so I'll bookmark their website and try to remember to put them on next time I need focus noise. Thanks for the recommendation!!

In this episode i introduce myself, talk about my theriotype, main fursona, my partners, and a possible Fursonacon (VA) 2024 therian howl!

see idk what "good" therian content would even look like because. like we're a community but we're not a fandom. we're centered allegedly around a bunch of shared experiences but half the time those experiences hardly align with one another.

the closest I can think of is lgbt content but even THEN you're talking about things like politics, and hate from family and friends, and queer history (sometimes badly in the case of a certain youtuber).

like I'd LOVE to make a therian podcast or whatever but I have literally no topic ideas because "being a therian" means so many things to so many people that I doubt the content would even be relatable.

I think that's why channels like pd and therian territory got so popular in the first place - there's really not much to do in the therian community outside of discussion and education, which is kinda sad. It's why I barely feel the need to like "connect" to my theriotype - because it's not like a fandom or an interest it's just. myself. yknow.
