The teens were either out or locked in their bedrooms, the dad was off working, and their mother was Lucifer knows where, probably getting drunk on tequilas and catching up with her girlfriends. This left Fuzzy, also known as their trusty Fizzy Companion Bot, in charge of the household.
The kids had started a food fight. Because of course they had. Screaming and snarling from imps and hell hounds alike was filling up the small kitchen, three children running around while shooting peas and mashed potatoes across the room, trying to hit each other for bonus points. The toddler was crawling around below the table, crying because of how noisy and rowdy everything was, and the littlest one, the baby, was sat in his high chair, smearing his food wherever he could reach.
Tumblr media
Fuzzy was close to his breaking point, alas, he reeled it in. He kept pleading with the children to stop, he tried to soothe the toddler by kneeling down under the table, cleaning up the mess as it escalated and escalated...
When suddenly, a 7th person entered the room.
Completely stunned, the robot locks eyes with the stranger in his home. This intruder, this absolute scumbag who--
Didn't seem to pose much of a threat at all. He looked flustered, tried to excuse himself, to get away...
And Fuzzy was not having it. This was the straw that broke the camel's back. Straightening himself up, the glowing eyes began to swirl with rage, extendable legs doing what they did best, until he was towering over the little angel like a demon cornering a child.
Tumblr media
ā˜½ "No. No none of that. You're going to barge in here? Into our home? Like you own the place, then just leave?"
Grabbing a hold of the man's wrist, Fuzzy pulls him into the midst of the chaos, the children stopping for just a second to behold the new guest, whose wingspan nearly took up the entire kitchen.
ā˜½ "You clean up this mess while I handle the kids, or I'm going to rip those gaudy feathers right out of your Goddamn Back."
@fizziefactory liked for a starter!)
When Lucid appeared out of the swirl of golden magic, the first thing the blue seraphim took in was the sheer chaos and noise surrounding him. It alarmed the angel, his wings puffing up as he looked about to identify the cause. Around him several Hellborn children ran about and an anxious disheveled robot appeared to be in hot pursuit.
Electronic eyes and blue celestial ones locked, the angel feeling a rapid sense of alarm growing in his chest. The angel held up his hands in mock surrender and stepped backwards. ā€œI, uh! I-I seem t-to have entered the wrong household-ā€œ

sweet spot -`ā™”Ā“-
Tumblr media
summary: curiosity killed the cat they say at first, but it definitely brought it back. At the heat of the moment, you find a pretty hidden sweet spot of Vash's that you'll remember forever! Such a delicious face!
warnings/tags: Minors DNI, nsfw,,sprinkles of praise,, afab,, marking,, what if vash had an erogenous spot on the roof of his mouth,,and yeah fingers are going into mouths bestie,,, lil bully vash moment,, i dont know whether or not to put top!vash or submissive!vash because its kinda giving a mix of both,,,fuck it, its a tag now,, short drabble,,,plant dynamics
there might be mistakes bc i wrote this at bumfuck 2 AM and i can't read straight, i really almost wrote fetty instead of pretty like???
A/N: You know whats funny, I wrote this at first with a focus on Vash's sharp canine teeth (title was originally gonna be show me your teeth)but the most brilliant idea popped up in my head i needed to write it. still kept the teeth and marking part in bc :P i hope i didn't write this like a dentist visit LMFAOO,,im sorry if this didn't make sense i need to sleep lmfaooo ENJOYYY~
p.s: theres an small extra at the bottom :D
Tumblr media
Vash was certainly somewhat of a wacky guy.
NOT in a bad way, definitely not! You loved him with all your heart but there were a few things he left you so curious about, especially after confessing his plant origin to you that while back.
So you often observed him, how he interacted with others, whenever he was proud, shy, nervous or angry. And every time he grinned or gave people a big smile, you always peeped at those sharp canines of his. Were they normally that pointy? Or what it because he was a plant?
"Hey Vash..." You called out to him one day as the group walked into an inn for the night.
"Eh?" He turned to look down at you, an innocent smile on his face "What's up?"
There perhaps may have been a mistake asking him that question, especially when the both of you had been a bit worked up over the month. The roads have been tough, and the two of you haven't had a moment alone together in so long.
As night arrived, the moans and groans of the bedroom grew louder and thank god everyone had gone to the local pub for the night, leaving the both of you to ravish each other in peace, even if it were just for a few hours.
You wouldn't have been able to face everyone if they heard.
Each buck of his hips into you had you gasping for air as the dull pain of his grip on the side of your thigh had you wanting to run laps around the room. Well.. if you could.
With legs keeping a tight wrap around Vash's hips, your grip on the sheets around you had the whites of your knuckles showing. It felt a bit embarassing as Vash towered over you but did you really care? nope
"You look so beautiful.." He moaned out, delivering another hard thrust into your gaping hole as the dirty squelching noises of cum mixed in with both of yalls' heavy breathing and panting.
Vash did think you looked quite heavenly though. The hickeys, the bite marks on your shoulders and around your breasts, he really wished he could see you like this everyday if he could.
"Won't you.." You whimpered "..look at your self p-prettybo- Oh~" Did you finish your sentence? You couldn't really tell by the way Vash's cock hit that delicious spot in you, making you tighten your legs around him to get closer, to leave no space.
To leave nothing.
"C-Can't even tell me what you wanna say?"
God he made you dizzy, the stickiness of both your bodies together and him dragging his tongue around your nipples made you less lucid than you thought you had been. You tried to catch your breath, you really did, but it had gotten hard to as the coiling feeling at the core of your stomach made you just want a bit more.
just a bit...
Opening your eyes, you hazily looked at Vashā€™s flushed face, sweat starting to show on his forehead and the blond strands of hair starting to stick to it as he gave you a cheeky grin that made you laugh amidst the pleasure. Letting one hand go from the bundled up sheet above your head, you shakily lifted it up to his face and caressed his cheek.
"V-Vash.." You hitched out, the pad of your thumb brushing over his swollen pink lips before they entered his mouth in the heat of the moment.
And Vash accepted, giving you a small groan as you felt the his saliva coat it, and his teeth graze it. But suddenly, when your thumb accidentally hit the roof of his mouth, specifically his palate, you watched in awe.
In pure awe actually, as Vash's eyes fluttered shut, letting out a choked and long moan you've never heard before.
Desperation.
Need.
Holy shit.
You felt his cock start to twitch in you as you let out a breathy chuckle "A plant thing I missed?"
You moved your thumb to caress his palate one more time as you felt his thrusts lose rhythm, the pure look of pleasure washing over his face as the tips of his brows furrowed and the grip on your thigh tightened. He had lost his composure, turning into jelly just because of that touch.
You found a sweet spot of his that you didn't know about..
And oh fuck he looked pretty just like that.
You shuttered at the sight of Vash's blissed face as the edges of his ears turned red, his eyes only opening just enough for you to see the tad bit of watering. "Mpfh..."He whined out in need muffled by your finger before suddenly, the strong, deep thrust of his cock into your cervix had you arch your back and gasp, making you quickly take your finger out of his mouth to desperately grab his shoulder.
"I'm sorry.." He panted, a line of saliva running down the corner of his mouth as you felt him get bigger inside you, causing you to mewl at the sudden change. Feeling large calloused hands finding themselves at your waists, you looked back at Vash as the patterns of blue scattered over his face and scarred chest "Hold on..." Your eyes widened at the realization of his words.
"W-WAIT- AH!~ā€
Oh isn't Vash just so cute!
extra:
-homeboy just railed you to oblivion and thinks you can walk normal the next morning? PFTTTT
-You made sure to give Vash a playful punch on the shoulder when the both of you awoke in the morning.
-"and you didn't tell me that you had a spot on the top of your mouth?"
-"ya know, i had completely forgot about that hahaha -queue vash shyly scratching the side of his cheek.
-and you wonder how he could be shy after the way he fucked you sideways,, QUITE LITERALLY
-you make sure to try and touch it with your tongue when the both of yall make out thoughšŸ«¶
-plant tingzšŸ’•
-have fun! :D

hey so im v curious about like reality shifting and stuff but idk much about it and i have some questions
hii ok
im like
a bit eepy
but ill try to make my thoughts make sense
so
(forgive me, i wanna learn more about shifting and the community, but all of my knowledge comes from inherently critical sources, so im sorry if i come off as rude or anything, im not trying to be i genuinely want to learn more about this)
reality shifting
to my understanding
is like...kinda a combination of fiction/fanfic and dreaming.
and it stems from the idea of the multiverse?
and the idea. that you can exchange your consciousness with someones from another timeline/parallel universe
and usually this happens when youre dreaming or begins when you sleep
so
(also plz correct me if im wrong on any of the stuff above)
now onto question stuff
i think its pretty important, that like. a lot of the stuff ive seen around shifting and like, response to any criticism is basically like 'youre the only person holding yourself back" like, anyone can shift, so if you cant its your fault
and on one hand i guess this could be motivational? like as long as you try hard enough its possible?
basically i want to make sure it isnt hurting peoples self esteem or mental health
but also. i. had a similar experience with lucid dreaming when i was a kid. my mom had a phase about lucid dreaming and was telling me all about it and was like 'you should try it' so i did. i tried. over and over. to somehow just 'realize' i was dreaming and take control. it never worked for me. and my mom was like 'well i guess youre just not trying hard enough'
and it was really disheartening bc ive always had trouble with sleep (might have like. insomnia or something. ive never been able to sleep well through a full night even before my life was consumed by screens.) and ive always had extremely strange dreams. and in my waking mind of course i know that if my teacher turned into an octopus with an apple for a head (yes this did happen in a dream) i would definitely notice and be like 'hey, thats not right' but it doesnt work like that in dreams. in my dreams it kinda feels like my impulses control me and i dont have any sense of self or logic.
and it felt awful to be told that it was my fault that i couldnt do it.
i also know that lucid dreaming somewhat ties into shifting so thats one of my other concerns, bc ive never been able to lucid dream and i dont know if i ever will
also idk where to put this but like. safety is important to me. i have friends who shift and i want to make sure they arent like, actually at risk of dying? and even seperate from that im wondering if people use this as a form of escapism too often that it becomes unhealthy and like negatively affects other aspects of their life
next question: is there proof
of course theres going to be anecdotal evidence from individuals in the community, and thats super alright. but sometimes people make things up. and sometimes people tell made up things to young, impressionable children who carry those falsehoods into life. and im worried about that
ok so ive read like 1 artice about this all. but immediately it brought up a major red flag for me. it gave an example of a study on shifting. but. it didnt cite its sources
and if anyones wondering that is a huge no-no. anyone can make up conclusions from made up studies. the point of studies is to show that people who are properly educated and know what theyre doing support these claims.
now im not saying shifting is made up in any way. it just seems sketchy to me that seemingly widespread sources talk about studies but theres no links or anything. theyre basically saying 'i saw a thing about it. just trust me.'
also uhh...idk much about the multiverse. but from what i understand. it comes from the idea of free will. and that every time anyone makes a descision, a parallel universe is created where they made a different descision. so i get that that could change a lot of things about the world like the rate of inventions and industrialization and wars and stuff. but really the shifting that ive seen most is into more fantasy leaning worlds. and im kinda wondering how thats possible in the multiverse? like sure theres infinite timelines...but most of those timelines will just be like. the same as this one but samantha chose to put on her right sock first instead of her left sock or something. and physics still applies, right? so how does hogwarts exist? does hogwarts exist? if magic is real in a parallel universe, is it real here?
so basically to sum it up my main questions are:
how do we know shifting is possible for everyone?
is it safe? (mentally, physically etc)
is lucid dreaming necessary?
is there any proof or credible source that i can look to for more info?
and how does this tie into the multiverse theory
also if anyone has any information about scripting and like evrything about reality shifting that would be great
i wanna learn more but im afraid of finding misinformation

CHAPTER 35 IS HITTING LIKE ALL MY FAVORITE TROPES,, the ao3 outage earlier this week KILLED me right during my standard "rereading the latest chapter over and over" frenzy,,,
this one had me throwing my phone on my bed and covering my face w my hands like a flustered maiden. losing my fucking shit the entire time
the sudden "theres something going on that all the staff are whispering about" had me like,, what the fuck is going on,, is someone DEAD? and a momentary "HOW MANY MONTHS HAS IT BEEN SINCE THAT ULTIMATUM" and then its naoya's dumb ass getting himself sick. i'd be annoyed at him if it weren't for the incredible scenes this grants us later in the chapter
(and its also SO FUNNY *how* he got sick-- literally stranded in some cursed energy zone all pathetic and alone. just like my sad kicked dog description i keep using for him. he is embodying it fully and truly.)
when naoya's staff came up to y/n like "its about naoya's health we need you" i was like "ohh the drama is he gonna die without her there or something" and,, turns out thats exactly it he probably would've died from refusing to take medicine if she weren't there. glorious. hes so pathetic its unreal (affectionate)
THEYRE FINALLY ALONE TOGETHER AGAIN,, it feels like its been so long and it apparently has been for him-- feeling like its been centuries since hes seen her. ME TOO MF MAYBE IF YOU WERE LESS OF AN ASSHOLE WE COULDVE BEEN HERE EARLIER
"it feels like you could literally do just about anything with him and he wouldn't be able to stop it" - "you were sure you could control him" Y/N,, GIRL,, YOU WANNA TOP HIM SO BAD OOO YOU WANT TO DOM HIM SO BAD. IM CHEERING FOR YOU (she might've been thinking more about murder. but i know what i was thinking) that followed by the "holding the cup directly to his lips to make him drink" scene is killing me. im going insane for them.
she FINALLY gets to interrogate his ass and he CAN'T go anywhere or do anything about it this whole scene was AMAZING. we get so much added dimension to both of them with y/n finally getting to snap on him somewhat and say/ask all the things she's been hiding, and naoya finally showing a little bit of that vulnerability with the discussion about the records and his mother. there's SO much going on here and i can't WAIT to see how that's gonna unfold in the next chapter ft. all sorts of flashbacks
i would read like 35 more chapters of just these sick shenanigans going on tbh. naoya's pov during this kinda thing would be so interesting too-- how deliriously out of it is he actually? is he gonna be absolutely mortified at this behavior when he's more lucid? i could also imagine him pretending to be sick for wayyy longer than he really is just so y/n won't leave,,,
outstanding showstopping amazing. i cant wait to see whats next!
Hi!!!! AAAA sorry for taking a while to get back to your ask, however I must say that when I saw this pop up on my inbox I was going through somewhat of a sad moment, and this made me very happy :ā€™) So thank you!! šŸ˜ā¤ļøā¤ļøā¤ļøā¤ļø
Now onto the juicy detailsā€¦
Iā€™m 100% aware that Iā€™ve been writing nothing less than indulging tropesā€¦ AND Iā€™M GLAD ABOUT IT HAHAHAH Iā€™M NEVER GONNA STOP
I think I mightā€™ve been a bit dramatic when writing the reaction from the staff. But after everything that happenedā€¦ thereā€™s no other way for them to react šŸ˜‚ The never-ending drama in the Naoya-Y/N soap opera has them on edge, they saw this coming and was only a matter of waiting when it would occur.
It makes me wonder what Naobitoā€™s opinion about this whole charade was šŸ¤” From disappointment towards his son, to amusement when hearing that Naoya has been incessantly calling for Y/N. He probably lurked around as close as he could to get a better look of what was happening, maybe even bringing some popcorn to enjoy the show. Y/N was right to assume that his family wouldā€™ve intervened to force her into aiding Naoya, althoughā€¦ not because they cared but rather because Naobito was tired of things being boring.
Omgā€¦ who does he ship Y/N with? Naoya or Naoaki? WTF am I even saying lmao šŸ˜‚ I need to log off.
As for the timelineā€¦ please donā€™t ask me about it AHAHAH I feel like after all the things that happened, if I were to sit down and determine how much time has passed since the beginning of the storyā€¦ it would probably be like 5 years or so lol ā€”well, it certainly feels like it anyways. But I will set a time frame in the following chapters to give you an example of how long itā€™s been, if itā€™s believable anyways šŸ˜‚ Thank god itā€™s fiction AMIRITE? (excuse my lazy writing šŸ˜)
Anyways, the way he got sick is exactly as you described: overall pathetic. There really is no better words to say, serves to show how heā€™s slowly losing himself šŸ’€šŸ˜‚ ah, poor Naoya, but canā€™t say he doesnā€™t deserve it. I wonder what he actually did in those missing days?
Iā€™m very surprised y/n was involved at all for thereā€™s no way the staff didnā€™t know of their tumultuous relationship. This more likely than not couldā€™ve worsened his situationā€¦ and if she was truly vengeful she couldā€™ve taken this chance to kill him and yet, they still had faith on her, believed she would somehow ignore all the horrible things he had done to her and do the right thing. And in that matter, they donā€™t deserve Y/N lol. Once again if she were a bit more unhinged, she could easily be a Tomie-type of characterā€¦ but whereā€™s the fun in that? (at least for what I have in mind, not gonna say that writing that kind of story isnā€™t intriguing hehe)
Well, the threat of her being forced by her in-laws lingered in the back of her mind, perhaps even her main motivator, but all things considered she decided to do so because, well, sheā€™s not completely evil. She shouldā€™ve been a bit harsherā€¦ but well, that doesnā€™t really align to the values she was taught with.
Talking about the alone partā€¦ wow. It has been a while since we saw them together like that; like what, 10 chapters? Lol Still, if Y/N had been that unhinged she couldā€™ve been like ā€œIā€™m taking my ladies with me AND Naoaki for my well-beingā€ and that wouldā€™ve murdered Naoya and his staff immediately. HAHAHAH Can you imagine that though? Still, I wonā€™t say that doesnā€™t sound a bit ridiculous šŸ˜‚ the whole family reunited in his room lol.
But yeah!! Itā€™s been so long, and itā€™s finally happeningā€¦ under relatively normal conditions where Naoya isnā€™t terrorizing her. It does make me wonder how their time at the ryokan during their honeymoon was likeā€¦ I might write about itā€¦ some snippets here and there (or if someone wants to send in an ask of what they think happened heheh) anyways, her being in this position of power is a bit unnerving to her, and within reason. From being berated almost daily, to being in a situation where she can literally do anything and whoā€™s gonna stop her?????
Well, Y/N isnā€™t that crazy like Naoya, but Iā€™m sure sheā€™ll make the most out of this situation anyways.
AS FOR THE TOPPING IMPLICATIONā€¦. Damn. I didnā€™t even think about it like that hahah I was out here imagining how ā€œY/N wants to beat him up, make him suffer, so he can get a taste of what sheā€™s been throughā€¦ā€¦ā€¦ā€¦.ā€ And then you show me the other side of the coin where she might want to top him DAMN thatā€™s an interesting perspective of something that might happen further down the roadā€¦. AHAHAHHAHA I wonā€™t say anything more.
Either way, not that the aspect of ā€œintimacyā€ has been brought up, for me those moments that Y/N was taking care of Naoya feltā€¦ well, intimate, if that makes sense. Probably a delusion from my side, but itā€™s the kind of domestic things I want to see happening between the two šŸ˜ no more drama or fighting, just the two being in a healthy, happy relationship. Like Naoya coming back injured from a mission and Y/N tending for him because she cares for him, not because sheā€™s being forced or because Naoya was acting stupid or whatever.
But we shall see, weā€™re getting somewhere after all :>
The highlights of this chapter would definitely be Naoya opening up to Y/N (although a bit, and when heā€™s not 100% him, but itā€™s somethingā€¦) and Y/N talking (or more like demanding) to know about the records and why heā€™s acting like thatā€¦ even though she doesnā€™t believe him that much lol.
NGL Iā€™m excited for the next chapter, itā€™s going to be flashbacks that will certainly affect their relationshipā€”something Iā€™ve been wanting to write too! Like, I hadnā€™t said anything about Tomoko outside of Naoakiā€™s perspective, but what about Naoya?! Whatā€™s his relationship with her like? How was she during her last days at the Estate? And for Y/N, HOW DID MINAKO DIE? Oof, very interesting indeed.
The following chapter, whether for the worse or for the better, is necessary for their marriage. As well as his sickness :> Weā€™re finally getting development for the two yall!!
Anyways, thank you so much for your patience and support! Weā€™re slowly moving forward to the ā€œgood stuffā€ that I cannot WAIT to post!!! Thereā€™s also a few more tropes (I guess) that I want to introduceā€¦ some that I think are very obvious (of course, because I know whatā€™s happening lmao) šŸ˜‚ but I canā€™t help but indulge on them!!!! Itā€™s like an addiction, I mustā€¦ haveā€¦ it.
Once again, thank you so much for being patient with me during this short break šŸ„ŗā¤ļø I hope you like the next chapters!! Take care, have a wonderful week, and hope to see you soon!!

Offset Beginnings
Throughout his life, Arthur had believed that there had to be at least some strain of truth when it came to the occult, whether through a vague promise of ā€˜magicā€™ or trying to find whatever possible science it boiled down into. That being said, heā€™d never thought he would get such an up close and personal taste of its existence.Ā
Ā Ā  Ā  Slowly, he touched the pads of his fingers to his face, tracing the curve of his cheek. Seeing was believing, yet his mind still couldnā€™t process the youthful body he had just recently been blessed with. Despite standing in front of the immaculately polished mirror left in his room, Arthur found himself gripping the vanity in disbelief, breath shallowing.
Of course. Being born anew had to have some sort of catch, didnā€™t it? Unless this was a new form of lucid nightmare, his deathbed granting a new experience to torture him even through his last breath. Butā€¦
That coppery taste on his tongue still lingered. Despite past dreams, Arthur was never one to have a sense of taste within them. And the pain when Le Comte had bitten himā€¦
He dropped his head, poorly attempting to switch his focus onto his lungs as his nails found purchase in the wood.
Moments ago he had finished meeting the other residents of the mansion, faces completely new to him yet the names he had heard brought more fear into the possibility of this all being another trick of the mind.Ā
A deep inhale, and he made up his mind, shoving himself away from the mirror to numbly grasp his coat and head back out the door. If his mind was set on plaguing him with bastardized ā€˜blessingsā€™, then he was determined to fight back by drowning in his sorrows.Ā
---------
The grooves in the counter were surely etching themselves into his skin, but Arthur couldnā€™t be bothered to care, mind elsewhere as his eyes barely focused on the glass in front of him. If he squints, he can make out a face under the mess of hair in the warped reflection, and he groans, turning to thump his head against his forearm. Heā€™s sure he hears a muffled question, the tap of a glass by his head. He canā€™t bring himself to attempt deciphering whatever was said.
He inhales, his chest feeling a steady burn as he shakily sighs, squeezing his eyes shut. Staying firm in the present is harder with alcohol muddling his reason, though thatā€™s his own fault, isnā€™t it? Every drink he slugged back in hopes of forgetting his earlier woes pit against him, memories playing back as he remembers his reflection, the same face that haunted him late at night.
Thereā€™s another voice, deeper this time, that accompanies a weight on Arthurā€™s shoulder. Curious, given the lack of sensation in his arms or fingers at the moment. He attempts to shrug it off, a flash of annoyance going through him.
ā€œTch. Trying to help you, you...ā€Ā
The voice muffles as Arthur finally turns to face it, some curse slipping out before he recognizes the flash of brown fabric, his own hand reaching out to grasp without much thought following.Ā
Thereā€™s a pisspoor attempt to say Theoā€™s name, the sound coming out slurred even to Arthurā€™s ears. A groan slips out next, his arm dropping as his grip slacks.
Despite the clear inability to verbally communicate, Theo still seems to recognize what he was getting at; sitting down on the stool beside him with a grumble.
ā€œJust how much did you drink?ā€
He wants to laugh at the worried question, how it doesnā€™t match the manā€™s expression, how it's the first time in years anyone has asked him that. He supposes some sort of dopey smile crosses his face at the scoff Theo gives him.
When was the last time someone showed him an ounce of pity? Le Comte didnā€™t count, given he was nearly convinced the man was reviving them out of a sense of misplaced guilt, nor was Arthur ever deserving of it, not sinceā€¦
Thereā€™s a grumble that comes out as his world begins to spin. He catches how Theoā€™s eyes widen before Arthur closes his eyes, feeling his body tip into something softer than the counter. Was it Theo? Thereā€™s a gruff mumble coming after him as someone attempts to right him, but Arthurā€™s well past the point to move without stumbling over immediately.
The thought to apologize comes along as he says something, the words mingling with memories of Trevor and the others catching up to him. For Theoā€™s sake he does try to stay lucid a moment longer, just to ease the weight heā€™s pushing onto the man, but the next breath he gives seems to drain him, sending him tumbling into unconsciousness.
---------
Ugh.Ā
As soon as he registers warmth creeping along his face, the sharp stab of a headache follows immediately, forcing a groan out as he pats around him blindly. He fumbles with the blanket heā€™s wound up in, finding a way to tug it over his head to block out the sunlight filtering in through his window.
It takes him a moment to open his eyes, feeling the spinning from last night trying to return along with his coherency.
Who in the hell pushed open the curtains? He was positive that they were shut when he leftā€¦
Arthurā€™s brows furrow as last night starts to come back to him, piecing together the flashes of brown fabric he had seen along with the gruff voice of-
ā€œTheo,ā€ The name comes out as a curse, ā€œYou bloody devil.ā€Ā
-------
It takes him longer than he likes to withstand the small act of just getting up, head pounding all the while. He manages to stumble over to his window and tug the curtains closed, allowing himself to prop up against the vanity, eyes avoiding the mirror attached as he plots the day ahead with a firm plan to steer clear of Theo; else who knew what embarrassing conversation that would spark.
But Godā€™s always been a right bastard, hasnā€™t he? Once he peels off yesterdayā€™s clothes and steps into a cleaner set, heā€™s out the door, only to nearly smack right into the man.
ā€œAhā€¦ā€
Damn and blast.
Their eyes meet for just a moment, before Arthurā€™s running a hand through his hair and dodging Theoā€™s gaze.
ā€œListen, about last nightā€¦ā€
His unspoken beg to spare him the details of his foolishness seems to come true, as Theo interrupts him with a scoff.
ā€œThereā€™s nothing about last night.ā€
ā€œHuh?ā€
ā€œWhat? You think I remember any of the nonsense you spouted? I was too busy deciding to bring you back here or to toss you into the Seine.ā€ Arthur bites back a quipp, and all Theo does is check his watch with a tsk, echoing the one out of many from the night before. ā€œI have to go to the gallery, I donā€™t have the time to spare for this.ā€
When he walks past in a determined tread, Arthur half expects the man to bump into him in annoyance. Heā€™d certainly deserve it and more, knowing fully well what a mess he had to have been to drag back here.Ā
He huffs out a self-deprecating laugh at the fact that someone so brusque was willing to spare a sorry sap like him. And for what reason? Perhaps the new lad to the mansion always went through this, and Arthur was just being given the easy treatment for now, until his feet- or fangs -settled.
With another scoff towards himself, he turns off towards the direction of the kitchen, planning for a cup of coffee and, admittedly, a way to offer buying a round for Theo- without getting the drink thrown back in his face.
-------
This. Has been a draft since July, so if anything sounds off I'm sorry haha
The second half of this pulls from that Drunk from your Love(?) Collection event, where theres a brief story about Theo finding the thot conked out at the bar, thought it seemed fitting to change that to the first night Arthur was brought back and Suffering at the age he was made to look like. (Even thought canon says otherwise haha)

Can i request a scenario where Atsumuā€™s girlfriend feels lonely because he barely had time for her so he dedicates his weekend to her
No worries! Realistically, as much as Iā€™d like Atsumu to dedicate an entire weekend, heā€™d still give a good portion of it to volleyball cause thatā€™s just how he is. In any case, I still hope you enjoy the scenario I did, that explored the ā€˜lonelyā€™ part and ā€˜spending time togetherā€™ part in equal portions.
Miya Atsumu x Fem! Reader
WHAT Iā€™M HERE FOR.
Although dating Atsumu was certainly a thrilling endeavour, it also happened to be a rather lonely one.
Miya Atsumu was something akin to the illustrious ā€˜Forbidden Fruit.ā€™
He was a scorching red that disrupted the serenity and tranquillity of the garden. He was a pulsating, bleeding crimson heart that tantalised you from afar. He was alluring and he knew it. He burned everyone that he touched and yet heā€™d draw them in all the same. He was searing, he was like scalding water. If you got too close, not only would he evade you but heā€™d manage to singe you in the process.
Being with him was like a lucid dream.
He was elusive, too elusive.
A relationship with him was not quite the romantic comedy you had asked for. Being second to volleyball is something that was both bitter on the tongue yet mesmerising on the eyes. Atsumuā€™s passion, however scorching, never failed to ignite something that was reminiscent to childish glee inside of you. He brought it out of everyone. From his opponents, his teammates, the crowd, it didnā€™t matter, but Atsumu was what they meant when they say:
You canā€™t look away.
Finishing your club activities, you looked longingly at the gym and sighed as you offered a small smile to your friends who were waiting up ahead. Inarizaki was a prestigious school, one that took great pride in their sporting, particularly well known for their volleyball team. As such, their practice always extended until the skies were coloured with purple sunsets and stars.
[5:32 PM]
hey~ you free to hang out this weekend tsumu? theres a festival nearby which might be fun to go to!
[5:40 PM]
sorry babe

[5:42 PM]
all g! you better do well then, if you get knocked out of the first round of nationals Iā€™ll kill you
[5:45 PM]
come on babe, its me weā€™re talkin bout here~
;))))
breaks bout to end so ill text ya later
thnx for bein chill babe~
You couldnā€™t help but sigh as you let your phone fall from your vision to your side before roughly shoving it into the depths of your pockets. Your group of friends eyed you warily.
ā€œ[Name]-chan, if he never spends that much time with you, is there really a point being with him?ā€
It was a question your friends often asked. Never out of malice, but always out of genuine curiosity and concern whenever they see you look at your phone solemnly. Unfortunately, youā€™ve asked yourself that question a few times too.
It was almost unbearable, like being put on a diet. He was the taste of all chocolates, candies and lollipops that youā€™d snack on but was always hidden away, as if his enjoyment was a ā€˜one timeā€™ thing per week. You hated the fact that it felt like your relationship was just like those candies, stowed away on the top shelf, only to come whenever he felt like it. He was tumultuous and exciting but he left you feeling cold for he always went away too soon.
Itā€™s not as if you didnā€™t get it. He loved volleyball, it was his passion, it was his world and that was completely okay. You knew all that and yetā€¦ it always felt as if you clung onto the relationship a bit tighter than he did.
Even so, you had always answered that question with a shaky, but determined ā€˜yes.ā€™
ā€œI donā€™t really know. Nationals are coming up though so itā€™s natural that heā€™d be extra busy, heā€™s practicing hard so, I really canā€™t blame him for that, you know?ā€
Now, you werenā€™t so sure.
You smiled through the cracks on your teeth as you all continued on your way.
~*~
ā€œOuch.ā€
ā€œACKā€“!ā€
Atsumu choked out a strangled scream as his bottle flew out of his hands before he eventually caught it in a hurried motion saving it from plummeting to the ground, turning to give his most withering glare he could muster to the source of his near death experience before deadpanning to find an identical deadpan boring into him. Osamu, being completely immune to Atsumuā€™s glares only shrugged nonchalantly as he made a gesture to fill his own bottle by the taps before glancing casually up at his fuming brother.
ā€œThat sure doesnā€™t sound too good ta me ā€˜Tsumu.ā€
Atsumu had gone to fill his bottle at the drink taps just outside the gym but he had stumbled on the conversation you had been having with your friends by accident. Osamu had apparently followed and thought it was necessary to almost completely blow his cover by nearly shocking him into a seizure. Atsumuā€™s scowl deepened in spite of the guilt and concern gnawing his mind as he harrumphed angrily.
ā€œItā€™s none of ya damn business ā€˜Samu!ā€ he retorted stubbornly, looking away so that his brother couldnā€™t see the distress on his face.
Osamu snorted. Even if he couldnā€™t see his brotherā€™s face, he (unfortunately) had sixteen years of experience to document Atsumuā€™s irrational behaviours and idiosyncrasies tucked away in a rather large folder in his mind. Osamuā€™s not too happy about that folder occupying as large of a space as it did but he definitely didnā€™t want to see it get bigger by adding a ā€˜heartbroken ā€˜tsumuā€™ subheading.
ā€œIf I were you bro, Iā€™d do something about it. Last thing I want is ta deal with yer crying ass and ya eating my pudding to ease ya through the inevitable break up.ā€
Atsumu stilled at that word: ā€˜breakup.ā€™
He didnā€™t think that you guys were broken, nor did it feel as if you guys were losing your feelings. Atsumu was a man of the highest calibre. He never half-assed anything and he held the same standard for everyone he was acquainted with. It was often the decider if people hated or liked him.
For you, it was a decider that you loved him. He was sure of it.
Atsumu furrowed his brows in determination. He was a man that pushed things to the limits and he most certainly did not settle for mediocrity. Whatever it is, he was going to make sure youā€™d both get through it.
ā€œFuck you ā€˜Samu, ya can keep yer damn pudding, just watch, Iā€™llā€”ā€˜SAMU!ā€
As per usual, Osamu had left Atsumu in the middle of his epiphany. Seriously, who does that bastard think he is!?
~*~
Since you had nothing better to do, you decided to get a start on studying on the Saturday, not that you were too happy about having to spend another weekend alone.
Your solitude, however, was sourly interrupted by rapid banging on your door. Aggravated to have your rare ounce of motivation disrupted, you flung open the door with a bit more force than necessary only to be met with your boyfriend, still sweaty from practice.
ā€œ[Name]-chan!? Whatā€™re ya doing, hurry up and get ready, we have a festival to catch donā€™t we?ā€ Atsumu gasped out, perhaps on a small adrenaline high after practice. You were a little taken back by his enthusiasm before you narrowed your eyes.
ā€œI thought you couldnā€™t make it? You canā€™t just come here expecting me to hang out with you just because youā€™re suddenly up for it ā€˜Tsumu,ā€ you say slowly, wincing to hear your words come out a little more scathing than what youā€™re used to. Itā€™s not as if you had anything planned for the day but you couldnā€™t help but feel a little annoyed that heā€™d act as if he could do whatever he wanted whenever he wanted.
Atsumuā€™s eyes flashed momentarily with guilt and he chewed the inside of his cheek before he ducked his head, looking up at you with his burning caramel eyes. ā€œI know but, couldya give me a chance to make it up ta ya? Please [Name]-chan~ā€ he whined pathetically, dramatically clapping his hands in front of his face as he screwed his eyes shut, pouting. You sighed, not finding the heart to ever deny him, you swore you would one day build up immunity to his puppy pouts.
ā€œFine, fine, just let me get dressed properly.ā€
His eyes suddenly snapped open, lighting up with a friendly suggestion on the tip of his tongueā€”
ā€œAlone asshole.ā€
He grimaced to have the door slammed in his faceā€¦ yeah, he probably deserved that.
~*~
ā€œOh my god, ā€˜Tsumu, you have to get me that jumbo fox plushy!ā€
Atsumu couldnā€™t hide his grin for a moment to see the way your eyes lit up at all the decorations than hung overhead on wires or ornaments on stalls as you cooed and awed at all the different ones. He realised it had been way too long since he got to see you get so excited like this, to see your eyes shimmer like diamonds and your smile crystallise like stalactites. Even if there were lights illuminating the area, he was certain that you had to be the one powering all of them.
ā€œEh~? Arenā€™tcha a little too old for plushies?ā€ he teased gently, murmuring in a soft voice that was reserved just for your ears.
You waved him off dismissively, your eyes drawn to the golden fox that reminded you a little too much of your own cunning boyfriend. ā€œNonsense, you can never be too old for cute things. Besides, youā€™re a brat and yet Iā€™m still dating you, arenā€™t I?ā€
Atsumuā€™s frowned, adamantly squawking, ā€œI am not a brat youā€“ā€ he broke himself off for a moment before his lips curled into a sleazy Cheshire grin. ā€œOh? So you think Iā€™m cute, do you?ā€
You deadpanned, unamused. ā€œWell youā€™re not good for much else other than volleyball or being an asshole, are you?ā€
Atsumu winced, huffing as he crossed his arms over his chest childishly, resisting the urge to further prove your point by puffing out his cheeks. ā€œMean! Yer so mean [Name]-chan! I finally take you out and this is the thanks I get!? Why am I even dating ya anyway!?ā€
The words had tactlessly slipped out in a fit of momentum and for a moment, he stiffened, like he wanted to take it back upon realising that the reason why he had done this is because your very relationship was on the brink. He suddenly stumbled over his words, getting flustered as he tried to find the best way to reword it. You blinked curiously, mulling over what could have spurred such a reaction. Briefly, you wondered if he had heard you when you were with your friendsā€¦ that he had somehow known of your doubts.
ā€œI mean, course I know why I like ya! Yerā€“!ā€
You patiently listened to Atsumu as he listed all the little things you do, all the little trivial stuff that you never even noticed about yourself to you. In less than eloquent words, he admired how assertive you were with him, how you always spoke your mind and lately you hadnā€™t been doing that. He was clearly growing more and more embarrassed at the sheer honesty of it all and with each stumble he made that fractured his swollen pride, it was like he put a Band-Aid on the doubts in your mind.
You suddenly brought his neck down and he lurched before his forehead was pressed to yours as you kissed the corner of his mouth, immediately putting a halt to his rather humiliating spiel of emotions.
ā€œYouā€™re really not good at this whole, emotional honesty thing, are you? No wonder I had to confess first.ā€ You snickered to yourself and Atsumu cringed in chagrin, ready to rebut as his cheeks flared red before you smiled adoringly at him. ā€œThank you for that and for today ā€˜Tsumu. Iā€™m sorry that you somehow had to figure out I was having doubts rather than me just being up front about it. But, I love you ā€˜Tsumu, I really do.ā€
You grinned, your nose brushing against his as the two of you stood in the middle of the path. People were probably staring at you but neither of you particularly cared as you beamed at him, watching his ears turn a shade darker.
ā€œThis, you, are exactly what I signed up for when I asked you out. I love your passion for volleyball, I find it hilarious that you can be an absolute dick to everyone but you canā€™t even properly admit to yourself when youā€™re genuinely moved. Youā€™re a bit of an idiot and all asshole, but thatā€™s exactly what Iā€™m here for. But, please donā€™t think Iā€™m being unreasonable when I say I want to see you more. I mean, thatā€™s what relationships are for, to get laid and feel the good stuff you know.ā€
Atsumu had been stunned into silence, the way his scrutinising eyes laid you bare made you flush but you held your ground confidently. ā€œHeh,ā€ he let out, albeit breathless and trying to cover up his own mortification as he narrowed his eyes playfully. ā€œI thought ā€˜getting laidā€™ and ā€˜feeling the good stuffā€™ were the same thing.ā€ He laughed when you playfully smacked his chest and although the grin he sported was of the devilish variety, the warmth he held in his smouldering golden eyes was more than enough to express how touched he really was.
ā€œWell,ā€ he growled under his breath as his lips hovered above your ear, drawing you in close by slithering his arms around your waist. ā€œIā€™d be more than happy ta listen ta any request ya have if ya put it like that.ā€
He suddenly felt the warmth by his neck stolen away as you slipped out of his hold by bobbing down, his teeth clamping on thin air as he whined to see you duck away from his hold with a sneaky grin.
ā€œYou still owe me dunderhead. I want that fox.ā€
ā€œBut ya already got a fox right ā€˜ere!ā€
ā€œHmm, I think Iā€™ve forgotten what makes you the number one setter in the high school prefectures, I think I need a reminder~ā€
ā€œNOW YER ASKINā€™ FOR ITā€“!ā€
Even if the two of you were a little embarrassed to openly discuss your feelings all the time, which, more often than not, was disguised under bouts of bickering and teasing, if thereā€™s one thing the two of you knew very well:
You both knew exactly what you were here forā€¦
To get laid and feel the good stuff obviously.
(And to be with each other you supposed)

hey can i ask a personal question for the members of ghostfruits; how do u guys personally deal with suicidal ideation and self harm? i notice that theres alot of mentions of death/depression/suicide/etc in your comics, and im a huge fan of you guys and im currently struggling with my own demons and thought I would ask. i hope this isnt too intrusive, feel free to ignore me.. - a suicidal, depressed fan.
i know weā€™re in public rn but iā€™m gonna just talk to u like a person, real quick. im going to talk to u like i would have if u were like in front of me
its like 2am and so im worried i might not be as lucid as i think. im sorry in advance if this is like, whole gibberish
im gonna speak for just myself, as the the person who is most often inserting specifically that kind of shit into our work, but definitely not like, the only person on this side like massively struggling with a similar variety of things
i dont know
a lot of people seem to be making work about problems they Used To have, and like ways they Used To feel, and like overcame, and then it becomes safe for them to make like, art about it. like the turmoil happens behind the scenes and then they like open up abt it publically after the fact via art. or at least like thats what im seeing happen, or like, ppl talk abt like "i made this bc it would have helped me figure my shit out sooner if someone had made s/t like this for me" and the like, probably dissappointing truth of it here is i'm bleeding in like real time. i dont have solutions to it. you and me are both in the immediate thick of the same kind of emotion. i didnt manage to puzzle it out. when i was 9 i started feeling like i wanted to kill myself and im 25 and ive wanted that, still, the entire time. i dont all the way know why its like that. sometimes i used to think it was like, a reaction to specific kinds of hardship or loss or dissatisfaction with my circumstances, but lately ive been worried that maybe good things or good times or good feelings are just like, distracting me from something that is my Actual desire, that being dead is the path im just like occassionally straying from. when i say that out loud i have a really easy time imagining a second person telling me that isnt a healthy thing to be saying or feeling, which usually means it isnt, but thats like, really how i am feeling, that is really where i am at with it. that probably means i dont have any business directing another persons like, outlook on it
so
while i cant tell you how to live with it, or cope with it, or manage it, bc im not doing any of those things, i can tell you really confidently that i dont think you should be dead, and you're being misdirected by either yourself or the world or like something else altogether into thinking thats the key that fits into whatevers in front of you. i know i dont know you, but i know like, a lot of people, and iv never felt like any of them should be dead. ive never met anybody who i thought itd be like fine if they died. theres people im hugely indifferent to, theres people i hate, there are people who have hurt me or others enormously and ive still never thought in earnest like "this persons best plan of attack i think is to kill themselves"not like anybody. not like anybody ever. iv said some fucking wild shit abt niggas but iv never said that, and i cant imagine ever saying it. or thinking it, or feeling it. i dont imagine youd be like an exception to that
thats easy to say, but, im not the person who has to live with it tho. thats easy to say to you but you still have to wake up tomorrow and live out whatever has got you so fucked up you're at like, a death point with it, and if youre coming here to ask abt it, youve probably exhausted a lot of other options already ill bet. and its like, probably wack as fuck to meet like another dead end here too. i dont know if youre still reading this even. i probably wouldnt be. iv had madd niggas hem and haw at me forever abt "temporary problems permanent solutions" and then just like shuffle me out of their office or living room or whatever and expect im not supposed to like pop myself on their doorstep. niggas acting like im fucking playing. like i got it out of my system bc we had one conversation and now im supposed to go eat lunch and be regular. idk. id be very mad at me, if i were you. i dont know if you are, but i wouldnt blame you for that. the reason i say all this is to articulate like;its possible that after hitting another roadblock here, youll feel like, "ok then fuck it" and like set your sights on just like, doing it. like bc i didnt have any jewels for u it would like reinforce it maybe. i would like u to consider this tho;
theres MADD niggas smarter than me. i was extremely useless to you just now. this is not like the pinnacle of help you're ever going to get. the answers you need for this exist even if youve already turned over a dozen rocks and theyve all been like, as useless, as this, tht has like absolutely no bearing on if the next rock will have useless shit under it. every single time u flip a coin it has the exact same chance of going one way or the other. this like did not have the medicine u need in it but the main thing i would want to stress to u is that it *does* exist and uve just had like a supremely shitty time finding it
somebodys got it. the only thing i can like confidently promise u is that somewhere, somebody, definitely knows the answer to this. u might be the person even. im not sure. /i/ def havent found it but like its in the mix somewhere. idk
i cant prove it to u but im positive ur not done yet, & you should stay
i didnt read back over any of this after i typed it, & so im gonna apologize again if it was just like, fullblown nonsense

Summer In Jersey - The Garden State Hip Hop Hourā€™s Richard Scott
By: Natalee Gilbert
In a land full of snakes, the Garden State is far from one.
Composed of only free spirits who "ride that wave" at all cost, New Jerseyans put on for their hometowns. As a union, they mostly have sleepless nights and quick snooze sessions throughout the day. But alone, they come from different backgrounds that helped them grow.
Even so, there is one thing that all residents can agree on: Summer In Jersey lives up to all of New Jersey's hype.
When you tune into Summer In Jersey, expect songs that highlight New Jersey's undying pride and summer functions. As one part of the compilation references to the club (or klerb as others might say), the others fall in line as beach, flex or nightclub anthems. Besides this, Summer In Jersey carries a three-part skit by The Infinite Nudist. Essentially its all about a friend who is convincing another to go with him to the beach. Then, a girl whos fed up with his distant ways as they go to the shore and it closes off with a late-night "You Up?" call from a friend who tries to convince the other to leave and go to a lituation.
A few notable tracks like "Mexico Bity (Cliquot Mix)", "Dollar Sign Malc", "Sorry Not Sorry", "Maria", "Can I Call You', "Black Pool Party" and "Invited" help tourist get the jist of what it's like to live in a goal-driven yet party oriented state. The 21 piece collective is curated by The Garden State Hip Hop Hour's boss man, Richard Scott who sought to make a timeless summer tape that everyone can enjoy.
Cued into a section of every song, Siri does her part in announcing that it's a "Garden State Hi-Hop Hour Exclusive."
The first song "Valentino" by Chad B is moreso a flex track that seperates itself with self-reflection and words of encouragement. One reason why he's able to shine is because of the daily grind. Still, his success mostly stems from an undeniable skill with rhyme schemes and autotune. Following in unison is a "diamond-in-the-rough" beat that embellishes on the obstacles he's encountered. But Chad B teaches all that there is a silver lining if you just believe and focus on yourself.
"Bad Girls Onlyā€ by Melo V is a salute to all those women working 9 to 5s! The beat is influenced by pop, techno even some R&B but the power of the track is held by Melo's strong, melodic vocal play. "Bad Girls Only" really allows women to let loose and enjoy themselves.
Fourth in line, "No Way" by Trophy Hitta Sage keeps up the momentum especially with this one liner, "Wearing yellow in the summer, you're a bright catch." Like Chad B. she uses auto-tune but its a bit more airy and passionate. At most "No Way" is a techno/hip-hop track. Trophy Hitta Sage uses the beat to speak about a girl whos got her going crazy and she just wants to know whats up.
Then theres "Invited" by BUMPPRO, a track thats quite infectious and falls as an anthem to those who don't get invited to the "off-the-wall" parties. Sonically "Invited" dabbles into rock but then carries on with futuristic synthesizers, techno and auto-tune. The song speaks about a party next door that BUMPPRO has heard about but he wasn't invited to. Nevertheless he's with the hype and is going anyway because everyone needs to let loose every now and then. The best line thus far from "Invited" is "Sounds like a sick party bouncing off the wall/ I got a case, I got a bottle. But I look fly, I came to party/f*ck those problems."
In pursuit "Act Up" by Rich Smiles stresses the projects care-free flair. It's hard to fit "Act Up" 's genre into one because of the R&B vocals at hand with a dancehall and caribbean feel. Here, he sings about a women has caught his attention but he's not looking for commitment. To have her for one night is enough and he won't let anything (or anyone) stand in his way. The highlight of "Act Up" is when Rich Smiles does a vocal run on the phrases "back up" in chorus and "act up". He really cranks up the heat with his ability to alter R&B's main focal point on love.
'Intentions" by Ganja Killz and "Zaya" take a similar approach. Driven by latin and caribbean vibes, they both use soothing vocals so listeners can feel at ease. Besides this, their native tongue pays homage to where theyā€™re from. Itā€™s nothing but tropical slashed with a whole lot of sultry energy.
Next, ā€œMexico Bity (Cliquot City)ā€ by Killa Klerk Cobain travels back to Spanish Harlem. Killa Klerk Cobain gives glory to Jersey Club and uses it to drive the beat selection. But really, its to show listeners that people in New Jersey ā€œreally just be vibinā€™.ā€ This track is solely for those who are looking to have a good time. So the tango might as well go on!
Fast forward and "Jersey Anthem" by GrooveBoyPut ft. Dougie F., Tsu Surf, Sonny Breeze, Crunch Calhoun, Albee Al Daddy pave the way for all New Jersey artists to keep going! Just like them, they've been through the struggle but still conquered. Now they're realistically living their dreams. For those who weren't there for the long haul, just know these emcees hold weight. They're coming with the pounds and don't care what others think regardless!
"For The Low" by $uper Drug$ ft.Threat Digga says it all in the title. Proficient in the ways of trapping and counting blue faces, these two only wreak havoc when someone disturbs their peace. Beat wise, "For The Low" takes the aggressive approach. These two do justice in being blunt, flexing and collecting their coins discreetly.
Now if there comes a time when a jam for night drives is needed, then "All Summer" by Dollar Sign Malc is the perfect fit. Because it gives off a 90's vibe, "All Summer" will be the only thing that shines this season. To summarize, this song fits all occasions like going to the beach or riding around the town with a shawty. Same applies for "Can I Call You?" by Najir. Even though it leans more towards a early 2000's sound, its still something with hype due to the Jersey Club influence. Najir in this song speaks about how hes in need for love and doesn't want to lose his girl.
Funnily enough, "Maria" by Smooch also speaks on a love whos got the artist stuck. Like ā€œMexico Bity (Cliquot City)ā€ the beat takes a trip to South America and uses some boom bap flair. On a vocal standpoint, he hits more notes than rhymes but he excels when dabbling into the two.
"Te Fallo" by Lilskrt4k feat. Chris Cruz is similar to 'Intentions" and "Zaya". Same tropical sound with a bit of reggaeton but theres more energy and switch between Spanish and English. Seems like this song is speaking about doing anything for love also. The part that gets me is the ad-libs. It really makes one feel like they're on an island.
To say the least, "We Jus" by Bulletproof Belv tells all about summer flings. Although they're great in the moment, it's really short-lived once the leaves turn brown. "We Jus" beat leans into the trap side. But because of the background drums and snares, it distinguishes itself as a summer vibe. Overall "We Jus" is a song to play when it's just too hard to say "this is a DTF situation."
On the other hand, "Sorry Not Sorry" by GrooveBoyPut and Smoove The Rapper goes in the opposite direction. GrooveBoyPut and Smoove The Rapper are really feeling this girl but shes done them dirty so now they've started to care less. Because of the drums in back and xclophone, it categorizes itself as a summer anthem. Still, "Sorry Not Sorry" has some trap influence and can easily be mistaken as another flex or derogatory song. All in all "Sorry Not Sorry" is a song for the heartbroken. It goes hard on self-liberation and leaves no room for tears or empathy.
"See This" by DOMS is worth all the hype. Trap-ridden at its own leisure, DOMS dares anyone to step up because it'll be them against him and his boys. Equally important, DOMS flexes at an all time high. One line that speaks volume is, "Gotta make those sacrifices if you want to beat them."
Like the last track, "To the 6ix" by A-Money$ is a trap song. Aside from highlighting his luxurious trips around the world, "To the 6ix" doesn't forget to talk about the exotic women and drip that he easily obtains.
Next to last, "Can't Be" by Honey gives off a bittersweet feeling. A once mutual love, Honey catches on to her mans sneaky ways. Thus she canā€™t help but to be hard on herself for not noticing sooner. Following is Honey's emotionally captivating vocals and a beat that pulls heart strings.
Finally, Summer In Jersey closes off with a lucid song called "Black Pool Party (CLICQUOT MIX)" by Clicquot Geno and Jet Lyte. Contrary to the beat, these two go all in with smooth sailing vocals and confidence. Some can even go so far as to say that "Black Pool Party" is making waves. Don't believe me? Listen for yourself. This song basically speaks on how they have no time for the B.S. and how certain individuals are now trying to swim on their stream of fortune. To summarize, the R&B and hip-hop influences run deep.

Tell is about a dream you had
anon im crying because ive been facing this dream-related dilema today and you show up and ask me this right at this time and im just weLL THeNĀ
first off -- usually when i have fun and/or interesting dreams i use it to make ocs or plots n stuff. it happens VERY often.
so last night i had a fun dream but there was some Edginess(tm) comboā€™d with Awful Cheesiness(tm) to it. It was really cliche, some kinda plot you can find in, like, really low budget anime...Ā BUT it was reALLY FUN TO THINK ABOUT IT(i have this Morning Routine which is just lay in bed and try to remember what i dreamed about and maybe daydream abt it or straight up try to go back to it but in a semi-lucid state i think??? im nOT SURE I CAN EXPLAIN but ya im a weirdo obsessed with dreams iM TALKING TOO MUCH--)
and in the end ive been thinking all day about it bc on one hand - Its Was Fun, but on the other - do I really need more OCs Iā€™ll talk about once and then never again? Or more OCs that I still love dearly but have no idea what to do with?! Would it be better to keep it somewhat, or to let go of it?! I was already throwing it away but then you. You came to me. And you asked this question. And now I am thinking about it again.
And I still havenā€™t told you what you wanted me to tell,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, LEMME CUT TO THE CHASE
i was like writing in-depth worldbuilding on this but honestly theres no much to it Storywise so itd be wEIRD TO TALK ABT WB IN DEPTHĀ
just, uuuh ok so theres ppl that can like turn into monsters either at will or when certain conditions are met ok
and then theres kid in high school who is shy and weak but is SECRETLY AWESOME aka one of the Best monster hunters in the WORLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!(tm)
so like theres this RLY MEAN MONSTER in town that theyre after and like after a long cat n rat chase when they finally manage to catch the monster knocking it uncounscious................................. they find out,,,,,, wait for it,,,,,,,, that the monsterā€™s Human Form.................... WAIT FOR IT...............Ā
WAIT FOR IT,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
..........it was their crush in high school!!!!! oh my god!!!!!!!!!!!!
this person is like. this nice person who was the one who paid attention to the neglected kid in class which made them goĀ ā€˜oh my god oh my god oh my godā€™ on the one(1) time they had to to work on a group project together
so yeah theyre CONFLICTED bc they gotta kill this bastard but !!!!!! they also dont!!!!!!!! want to!!!!! and instead they kinda put this curse on the person(yes they can do magic and not everyone knows how to do it its complicated worldbuilding stuff) that prevents them from shifting into the monster form(tm)
monsterperson does not know who hunterperson is btw they were Knocked Out at the time this happened also im now calling them mp and hp (LOL) bc thats better
but yEAH WE HAVE THIS AWKWARD SITUATION I GUESS?
and hp notices that after this, mp grows into a much more stressed and mean person. they get gradually meaner and meaner and like?? that doesnā€™t make sense?? because, in a way, the Evil inside them is sealed and it shouldnā€™t be having such an impact on them.
so, not very sure about what to do next, hp sometimes follows mp around sneakily, to see if itā€™s related to something in their routine. During this, they find out about these other monsterpeople who seem to know mp and have a beef with them. These people are! very mean! but they are scared of mp, who seems to pull a very good act to seem threatening, even though theyā€™re.. not.. very capable of much right now.
must be a very tough situation!
this is the part where my memory gets fuzzy, so, lemme try to wrap this up, -hp tries to get involved in the situation between mp and the other monsterpeople, only to have them find out about the hex thatā€™s been placed on them -so then these people manage to corner and capture both but they have to contact theirĀ ā€˜bossā€™ before they can do anything to them -god this is such a cliche story i am crying -anyway so while the Bad Guys(tm) of the current situation are busy and they have time to discuss, mp and hp have this HEATED ARGUMENT about morals. in the meantime the dude who was like Watching The Prisoners was like having the time of his life watching it (also just wanna note that mpā€™s disguise hasnā€™t been busted yet?) -eventually the guy watching them gets distracted by something and mp tries to convince hp to break the curse. it takes yet another discussion about morals and another one aboutĀ ā€˜how do i know you will not murder me on the spotā€™ -it ends here im sorry for the cliffhanger
i have gone to hell and back with this reply. this is the danger of asking me to tell a dream. you got me dude. you got me good. im so sorry

āœØ spread the positivity āœØ
Tumblr media
these have been in my inbox for months, which i apologize for !! i really just didnt have that much to be happy about. recently, things have been improving, so iā€™ll try to spread some positivity āœØinstead of sending this message to just 10 of my followers though, iā€™d like to ask all my followers to reblog with 5 (or more) things that make them happy, divine or otherwise!!! āœØ
(sorry mine are so long, i got a little carried away)
1. when i have random surges of positive energy, things like love and confidence and motivation. whether the feeling is passive or directed at something specific, its wonderfully refreshing and usually continuously motivating as well.
2. when i wake up on my own from vivid or lucid dreams, and i can remember whatever i dreamed enough to think about and/or process it. being able to have enough time to process and explore what my unconscious mind shows me is more important and helpful than not.
3. being able to walk people through their own divine or otherwise metaphysical experiences is something ive only begun to do recently, but im already extremely grateful for it. being the first to ā€œawakenā€ and watching zac go through the same things is extremely validating, and he has a bit of help where or when he needs it. weā€™re both still learning, and now weā€™re able to learn together rather than separately, which benefits us both.
4. something that i dont think iā€™ll ever truly get used to, that cant not invoke a strong reaction, is being on the end side of a premonition. when they first started, i would see something in my head and then see it again irl, sometimes almost immediately. now though, theyre getting a bit more interactive, rather than me just watching. iā€™ll feel a door open, iā€™ll be talked to about/shown something thats going to happen, and sometimes another voice will interrupt to talk to me. when i see that situation happening, be it days or months later, iā€™ll feel the door open again, iā€™ll know whats happening, and im the voice yelling back through the door. words i couldnt understand before now made clear, answers snapping into place. its empowering, its breathtaking, and if weā€™re being honest, its definitely one of my main motivators to stay alive.
4.5. recently i had a psychic experience validated (literally repeated back to me, two weeks later, through tumblr) by someone i do not know, that ive never met before, who was able to look through one of these doors to me just by feeling the energy from my blog/online presence. its something iā€™ll never forget, itā€™ll never stop giving me chills, because its the most intense and ā€œrealā€ thing thatā€™s happened so far. and by real i mean that no one could possibly explain that shit away, not even the biggest skeptic. its no delusion, or daydream, its some real, beautiful shit.
5. i think one last thing that makes me happy, to be honest, is how my life is going, offline. im living with my newly awakened boyfriend, i have a job and im thinking about looking for one closer to his house. ive recently been able to begin to change myself both physically (piercings and tattoos, working out), and metaphysically, which in turn has helped my emotional and mental health quite a bit. having my metaphysical energy grow and get stronger and being able to talk about it and get actual real feedback from someone who doesnt think im crazy is probably the best thing that couldā€™ve happened to me, because when this shit gets scary, its hard to handle alone. even the things i know i cant or shouldnt tell/talk about with zac right away, knowing weā€™ll get there eventually is wonderful.
waiting for the next shift, or a premonition, a sudden burst of knowledge, knowing theres a fire in me just waiting to be ignited,,, when im feeling and watching the veil to lift from my senses and im holding zacs hand to keep me brave and confident because the things i hear are too loud and the things i can see are too overwhelming, i couldnt be more grateful. when the fire is too bright and the divinity feels more like poison than anything else, heā€™s here with me.
i think this last one (and the others tbh) can be summed up with ā€œiā€™m happy this is happening to me, and iā€™m happy i dont have to go through it alone.ā€

Jordan Shakeshaft, Life by Daily Burn
There was a time a few years back when I couldnt sleep more than four hours a night. I would stay up thinking about work and relationships and looming events. And Id wake in the middle of the night to the panic of a mish-mash of incomprehensible thoughtsor worse, the jagged whisper of my dads last breath. My bed wasnt a place of restorationit was a place of unrest. For someone who loves sleep more than hugs, high fives, and new kicks, this was source of major distress.
My problem wasnt uncommon: generalized anxiety disorder. But, like the other 6.8 million Americans with the scarlet A stamped across our furrowed foreheads, it was just life. And the plight of restless nights? I was in the company of 50 to 70 million. Thankfully, my sleep habits would slowly improve over timebut I could still count on one terrible, no-good, sub-five-hour sleep at least once a week.
Then, just last month I plopped that normal New York existence into a proverbial blender and pressed puree. I was moving to the Wellness-Obsessed Capital of the World: Los Angeles. Despite the immediate assault of sunshine and the purchase of a stupidly expensive new mattress (still worth every penny), I was contending with new work hours, new fears (OMG, driving) and people who seemed so nice (but wait, whats the catch?). Within two weeks I was Googling day spas, yoga studios, and meditation centers like a woman possessed.
RELATED: 8 Signs Youre Way Too Stressed (And How to Deal)
Thats when I came across Dream Reality Cinema in Beverly Hills. Not to be confused with your average popcorn-slinging movie theater, this one plays a single film designed to induce dream meditation. Think: eyes wide open, in a floating state of consciousness. Once students master that form of zen, they can move on to lucid dreaming, or the ability to stay conscious while dreaming. (Yup, that means you can control what happens in your dreams, Inception style.) And thats not all: Some believe you can achieve a higher level of thinking, problem solve more effectively, and tap into a greater world of creativity in such a state.
I made an appointment, and promptly added: Next-level ish to my to-do list.
Lucid Dreaming: The Premise
According to the founders, Hungarian philosopher and human cybernetics researcher Sandor Lengyel and physician Emese Toth, MD, the first step to dream meditation requires a bit of guidance. Thats where their 40-minute film comes in, based on 25 years worth of studies on dreaming, relaxation and meditative techniques.
As with other forms of meditation, dream meditation taps into your present thoughts, sensations and emotions, butyou guessed itin a sleepier state (my forte). And while wide-awake meditation practitioners have to deal with physical stimuli around them, dream meditation does two things differently.
[While dreaming], the brain can freely decide what to do and where to take itself.
First, it removes those outside influences, allowing people to theoretically reach a meditative state more easily. As Lengyel puts it, Lucid dreaming is the perfect meditation, because there is no way for your conscious mind to interfere with the practice. Second, it increases the possibility for growth and change, since certain regions of the brain are more active in a dream-like state. (Namely, parts of the visual cortex, motor cortex and motion-sensory areas deep within the brain, according to some sleep experts.)
Thank You!

Dr. Toth explains: When we are able to live consciously in our dreams, our colorful, real and memorable dream life can develop and become connected with our wakeful life. All this brain boosting on top of the traditional meditation benefits, like reduced anxiety, improved sleep and increased productivity, to name a few.

Whats more, theres a healthy dose of Inception to lucid dreaming: The film [thats shown in the studio] provides a precisely engineered brain-regenerating program, says Dr. Toth. More specifically, it flips a switch on natural processes that have otherwise been turned off in our heads, such as the ability to think freely and creatively, she says.
This might be explained by the fact that during sleep-mode, the prefrontal area of the brain becomes less active. This is where logical reasoning resides. [While dreaming], the brain can freely decide what to do and where to take itselfIt can behave naturally and unrestricted because nothing forces it to behave otherwise, Dr. Toth says. What results: Restoration, serenity, invigorationor, well, whatever your heart (or head) desires.
Dream Reality Cinema: The Experience
On the Uber ride to Dream Reality Cinema, I scrolled through the studios testimonials. Unlike anything Ive ever experienced before so relaxing My driver pulled up to the corner and I hopped out. No fluorescent marquee, but the whitewashed boutique was undeniably 90210-chic.
Inside, I checked in with the receptionist, who escorted me to the two-person cinema room. She invited me to take a seat in a cushy, zero-gravity leather chair. (Note to self: BYO meditation date?) It reclined just past 180 degrees, my head a few inches below my feet. My guide requested that my glasses come off. Sorry, but Im blind? Thats OK, she said. The super-fancy wraparound specs came on, and she directed my finger to the adjustable focus so even near-sighted folks like me could see.
Focus, Shakeshaft, you cannot write a story about a fancy nap.
I asked if I could somehow take notes. She chuckled, assuming I was kidding, and handed me a plush blanket to tuck myself in. (She clearly did not know of my ability to text and Instagram in my sleep.) She asked if I need anything elsewater or tea? (Another note to self: BYO Swedish Fish.) I slipped my sandals off as the lights in the room faded to black.
To start the session, newbie lucid dreamers required a primer. A short, animated introduction video offered a few key tips. The first, Just let yourself react freely. Meaning: Do not force yourself to mediate, concentrate or, like this writer did, attempt to take mental notes for her article. When text appears on screen, do not zero in to read the words. Instead, maintain full-screen vision. That is, seeing everything at the same time. As you should do in life, as well, the creators explain. It was 4 p.m. and my brain-slash-life was already foggy from the day. Focus, Shakeshaft, you cannot write a story about a fancy nap.
RELATED: This Is Your Body on Sleep Deprivation
What followed was a winding path of visualizations to coax me into the elusive conscious-yet-dreaming state. At one point I was prompted to imagine I was a tiny pebble falling into a vast body of water. I played along. Falling, falling and, sure enough, the rest gets fuzzy. My expertly-crafted sensory experience (just as I suspected) had turned into a warm and glorious slumber. How long was I asleep? Would the receptionist know?
I peeled my eyelids apart and settled back into the film, as I was coached to do. Positive affirmations floated to the screen. My thoughts drifted over to my new LA life, my people, my kittens, my self-worth, my ability to conquer whatever lies ahead. Basically, my inner Jessica was telling me I can do anything good!
I was conscious, that I knew. But was I getting closer to lucid dreaming mode? I waited patiently for my higher-level abilities to kick in. Mind awake, body asleep. Mind awake, body asleep, I told myself. Just like Elliot from Mr. Robot chanted during his own reality-bending, hyper-woke episodes. But something (possibly my sudden hunger pangs or late-onset fidgeting) told me I wasnt quite there.
Moments later, the film concluded and my trusty guide tiptoed back in.
Mind awake, body asleep. Mind awake, body asleep, I told myself.
Did I like the experience? I think so.
Did I feel different now than when I walked in? Sorta.
Did I manage to find a dream-like meditative state? Definitely maybe?
Like a kid who stole the Butterfinger and knew she had to come clean, I told her I maaayy have fallen asleep. Once. OK twice. Lady, I fell asleep three times. But I swear I didnt mean to!
She reassured me that was totally normal. In fact, most people do on their first visit, she said.
Living in a Dream: The Assessment
During my hour-long session, no, I did not learn how to lucid dream. And I shouldnt have expected to. Dr. Toth explains that lucid dreaming takes many sessions of practice and self-analysis. Only with continued practice will individuals learn to remember, control and eventually unlock valuable information stored deep in the subconscious mind.
The dreaming state gives us permission to allow changes within us and we begin to behave and think differently.
Instead, the dream meditation session teaches you a fundamental skill that you can build upon: [How] to have an active and independent consciousness instead of being a passive follower of someone or something, says Dr. Toth. Those guilty of moving robotically from one day to the next? Shes talking to us.
The dreaming state gives us permission to allow changes within us and we begin to behave and think differently. Sometimes we experience a more evolved way of thinking, a type of expansion, Dr. Toth says. This is where the so-called boost in creativity, memory function, and other positive changes take place.
As for the claims that dream meditation will normalize sleep or stress disorders? For me, TBD. While I did sleep like a champ that night, the founders emphasize that any long-term improvements will require a lengthier commitment.
So is this the ultimate brain hack? Or the most fantastical placebo effect this side of the San Andreas Fault? Maybe it doesnt matter. If youre taking 60 minutes of your day to clear some headspace, that in and of itself might be the win. At least it was for me.
Dream Reality Cinema has two locations: Los Angeles, California, and Budapest, Hungary. The studio currently offers one film, Dream Meditation, but is working on a new program, Active Dreaming, which will delve more deeply into lucid dreaming. Each session is $45 and a monthly unlimited membership is $200.
