OKAY OKAY YOU DONT HAVE TO LISTEN TO THIS AT ALL BUT YOU SHOULD WRITE LIKE A STEVE ONESHOT THING WHERE HES DATING (Y/N OR OC IM NOT PICKY) BUT HES STILL PINING FOR NANCY AND LIKE STILL IN LOVE WITH HER SO HIS S/O BREAKS UP WITH HIM BC SHES TIRED OF BEING LIKE "A BACKUP OPTION" AND ALWAYS SECOND CHOICE TO NANCY AND ITS LIKE SUPER ANGSTY AND BASICALLY IT TAKES BEING WITHOUT THEM FOR STEVE TO REALIZE HOW MUCH HE LOVED THEM AND THEN THERES LIKE A LOVE CONFESSION. (THAT WAS A CRAZY RUN-ON SENTENCE OMG)
YOU CAN IGNORE THIS IF YOU DONT LIKE THE IDEA THO <3
Second Best — Steve Harrington
summary — nancy wheeler, the one who got away. she’d always be his first love and you’d always be second best so what was the point of pretending he could love you even just a little?
warning/tags — fem!reader, she/her pronouns, angst, steve being dumb, swearing, bits of stancy, arguing, fluff, the gang scheming
note — thank you so much for requesting! I absolutely adore this idea and loved writing it so so much, I hope I did it justice even if I did slightly go off the prompt. you’re an incredible writer, one of my favourites on wp, and I can’t wait to read your works on here too. I love you tons! thank you again and I hope you like it <3 also, credits to soph for steve’s middle name, ilysm!
word count — 2.5k words
This was the third time in the space of a couple of minutes that you’ve caught Steve staring at Nancy from where he sat on the couch, to say you were sick of it would be an understatement.
It had been movie night with the whole group which had truthfully been long overdue and very much needed but surprisingly difficult to plan with everyone’s hectic schedules. But here you all were, finally relaxing for the first time in months in Steve’s spacious living room among a bundle of cushions, in what should’ve resembled a fort built by the boys. The second movie of the night was playing on the projector that Robin and Max had set up and an abundance of snacks and sugary drinks had been brought beforehand to account for everyone’s tastebuds. With the way things were going, however, it seemed like staying over at Steve’s after the night was over was simply out of the question.
Dustin sent you a sad look from his position on the floor smothered by multiple duvets. It would have been funny if it hadn’t been for the situation. The room seemed to cool another ten degrees when Steve unwrapped his arm from around your shoulders mid-scene, shifting away from you slightly. You were both oceans apart and yet he didn’t even seem to notice the space between you. And this wasn’t the first time it had happened either.
The credits rolled in and Nancy offered to grab more snacks while the kids decided on the next movie. Steve practically jumped at the chance to follow her to the kitchen, or maybe you were just overreacting like usual. It didn’t matter anyway, the fact was that he was with her, not you and the way he looked at her told you everything that had been left unsaid.
You quietly got up from your place on the couch, surrounded by colourful blankets and softly padded around the room, picking up your car keys from where you’d left them and moving to the hallway to put on your coat and shoes. El moved to stop you but Eddie gently placed a hand on her shoulder, letting you go with a sad nod. You couldn’t stay, they knew that, but still, some part of you wishes they would’ve asked. You might have not been there from the beginning but they loved you all the same, if not even more and vice versa. You were the missing piece in their family and for them, you’d do anything even if it meant watching Steve pin for his ex girlfriend.
You’d almost made it to your car before Steve appeared at the door, the expression on his face a mix of everything and seemingly nothing you were looking for all at once. “Where are you going, the movie’s about to start. Mike’s picked out some cheesy horror movie which I know you love to watch and Nance has opened up the last pack of those giggles cookies you love with the weird faces on them-” You hated horror movies, regardless of if they were cheesy and predictable or not, and those giggle cookies with fudge and vanilla cream in them- god you hate them too. You’d eat fudge by itself but for some reason when it’s added to something else it just doesn’t taste right to you.
“Steve.. I’m not feeling great, I’m gonna head home a little early.” You knew he didn’t believe you. You never could lie to him, and his judging eyes told you enough. Not to mention you called him Steve, you never call him Steve, but he didn’t notice.
“You seemed fine a while ago to me. What’s wrong, maybe you can lay down in the spare room?” There he goes treating you like you’re one of the kids and not his girlfriend but that’s not what irks you the most, it’s the fact that mentions the spare room. Not his room, the spare. “Nance can give you one of her green teas, they’re magical I swear, you’ll feel better in an instant. Actually, let me ask her now.” He walked away towards the door, completely disregarding anything you’d said, acting for a moment that he was even paying attention to you tonight bringing up Nancy again and suddenly, you’re done.
“No!” Steve pauses mid stride, hand on the half opened door, slowly turning around shocked by the volume and the panic in your voice, “I’m done Steve, I’m done. I can’t do this anymore.”
“Wh-what?!”
“You’re in love with Nancy.”
“I’m what-?!”
“Ha, see you can’t even deny it.”
“Because there’s nothing to deny!” His voice raises even further. He’s never raised his voice at you. He knows how much you hate it and it reminds him of his father so he never did; guess there was a first time for everything.
“Don’t. You don’t love me, you never have. You don’t even know my favourite movie genre or my favourite snack-”
“Yes I do, I just told you!”
“Those are Nancy’s fucking favourites! See you’re pinning after her with those love sick eyes of yours and you don’t even know it.”
“What so not knowing your favourite movie genre or snack is a crime now?! So I’m expected to know everything about my girlfriend?” This elicits a rather loud scoff from you causing Steve to clench his fists in frustration and anger. “We’ve been dating for almost a year so yes, I do expect you to at least know those two things.”
Steve starts again but you cut him off fearing that if you don’t get it out now then you’ll go back to apologising to him the next day and burying it even deeper within you. “It’s her, it’s always been her. I don’t know why I even bothered but I thought you were over her, I truly did. But every time she walks into a room your eyes brighten and they don’t leave her for a single fucking second. You bring her up into every single conversation as if her ghost wasn’t already haunting our relationship and I feel like I’m always being compared to her in everything that I do. Stevie I love you, I truly do but I’m sick of feeling like I’m second place.”
Silence. He doesn’t say anything for what feels like forever. You wished he’d say something, anything, do something to prove you wrong, to tell you it was all in your head or that he’d change, that things would get better. A flash of emotion appears on his face before he puts back on his ‘King Steve’ mask. He never used that with you.
“Okay.” That’s all he says before turning back towards the door and leaving you standing out there in the cold.
That was months ago and here you were with the gang calling you from a pay phone on a Sunday. It seemed like your plans of crying your eyes out to another sappy romance movie that reminded you of your relationship with Steve had been ruined. “Heyyy Y/Nnnn”, came a sheepish voice from the other end of the phone call.
You knew they could feel your eye roll from there, “What do you guys need?”
“What, can’t we call our favourite adult and tell her that we miss her?!”
“Ignoring the fact that this is the first time you’ve called me in months, no Dustin, you can’t call without wanting something first. And favourite?! Ha, nice one. What do you want?”
“Can you please pick us up from the skatepark?” At least he had the common sense to give the phone to Max when the gang wanted something, they all knew she was your soft spot. Then for the millionth time that day, like every other day, your mind went straight to Steve. Where was he? Shouldn’t he be picking up the kids? Why would he just leave them there? They could’ve called anyone else, so why you? And then as if she knew the thoughts running through your head she added, “we didn’t want to bother Eddie and Steve was meant to pick us at two but we got bored and felt bad for asking him to pick us up earlier when he was already in a bad mood this morning and-”
“It’s okay sweetheart, hang tight and I’ll be there in ten. Don’t go anywhere and stick together okay?”
“Yes mum.” And Dustin was back.
He hung up the phone and you went to get changed as quick as you could, sliding along the wooden floor in your socks. If Steve was here now, he’d be laughing his beautiful laugh, teasing you before acting out the scene from ‘Risky Business’, maybe even twirling you around the living room. Shaking your head to prevent more tears from falling, you grabbed your coat and car keys and made your way out the door.
There was a catch. Of course there had to be a catch. Why didn’t you think about this before?!You’d successfully picked up the kids and they’d all piled into your car with their gear when Dustin remembered he’d left something important at Steve’s and needed to pick it up. So here you were driving to your ex boyfriend’s house cursing wildly in your head. It would be fine. You were only going to stay in the car. You wouldn’t even have to see him… right?
Wrong. Fate, aka the kids, had different plans.
Pulling into the driveway, the first thing you noticed was the fairy lights stung around the house. It was still light out, Christmas and New Years were over, Valentine’s Day was even further away, so why were there fairy lights? Why were there sunflowers lining the driveway? Had you stumbled upon Steve’s love confession to Nancy. Oh god. You hoped not.
Here you were, standing on Steve’s porch, knocking on his door instead of Dustin and you hadn’t the slightest clue of how you got there except you figured you’d been roped into some wild scheme that wasn’t going to end well. Fuck me.
Steve Willow Harrington opened the door in all his beautiful glory holding a bouquet of sunflowers, a pack of care bear waffles and ‘The Breakfast Club’. Who the hell allowed him to look so good?!
“Hi.”
No, this was absolutely not happening. He would not turn your heart into mush with one syllable. You started to turn around to leave but his reflexes were faster and he grabbed your hand, the skin heating up under his touch and your heart kickstarted into motion at the electricity that danced along his fingers onto yours. “Please. Don’t go.”
You froze in place. Head and heart conflicted but once you saw the expression on the kids’ faces you understood. He gently pulled you towards him, albeit with a little caution, turning your body but still you refused to look at him. “These are for you.” You accepted them, focusing on the sunshine petals instead of his face until your felt his fingers gently gripping your chin, tilting your head upwards so you were looking into his eyes. Steve’s eyes shone with the telltale sign of tears and regret and something else that you’d only seen when he looked at her. It was love. No. It couldn’t be. You took a step back needing the distance to gather your thoughts. He didn’t get to do this to you, he didn’t get to hurt you all over again.
“I’m sorry. I-” you shook your head, your own tears glistening your eyes making them shine in the fairy lights. “I had a whole speech planned out funnily enough but I see you again for one second and you’ve got speechless. God I- I drove over to your house in the middle of the night to apologise after that day and I chickened out every single time until they all knocked some sense into me.” He nodded behind you towards where the kids were anxiously watching the scene unfolding before them.
“I thought I heard your car but every time I’d look out the window there was no one there so I stopped looking.”
Steve sighed sadly, “You deserve better- you deserved better. I shouldn’t have done what I did. I shouldn’t have taken you for granted. I shouldn’t have made you feel like you were second place, not to Nancy and not to anyone. I should have showed you I cared, that you mattered, that I did know you loved binge watching those sappy romance movies and pointing out bits that reminded you of us and that your favourite snack were those ridiculously overpriced care bear waffles with the rainbow specks of berries because you’d had them since you were a child and refused to give them up. But I didn’t do any of the things I should have. I fucked up and I don’t deserve you. And the worst thing is, I don’t even have a reason why I did them. I think some part of me was terrified of the uncertainty, of the unknown, of how it felt to have someone I was scared to lose. So I buried how I felt about you and turned to something familiar, to something that I could hold onto even if I didn’t actually care about them. It took losing you to realise just how wrong I was and how badly I’d treated you. And I know it doesn’t justify any of what I did to you but I want you to know that I’m sorry and if I could do it all over again, I would do it differently. I would fight for you instead of leaving you there and I would show you exactly how I feel about you.”
You were both crying now, “and how do you feel about me?” The air stilled in anticipation, your fingers twisting around the fabric of your sleeve in a nervous dance.
“I love you.”
That admission of love, and the fact that he said it so easily like it was a fact that everyone should know, knocked the air out of your lungs. You felt breathless after his speech.
“I won’t deny that you hurt me and maybe I do deserve better but I know you can give it to me just as I hope I can give it to you. It won’t be easy and it will take time and a lot of work to get to- to us but if you’re willing to put in the work…” Steve nodded his head enthusiastically, tears slipping down his cheeks for he’d feared the worst, “then I am too.” Then came his megawatt smile, eyes crinkling at the edges from pure happiness. He pulled you into a hug, wrapping his arms around your shoulders delicately so as to not damage the flowers, while yours wrapped around his waist. The kids were dancing by your car, pumping their fists into the air but neither of you payed any attention to them.
“And for the record, I love you too Stevie.”

so im making a game, its from a dream and i need it to be real
like NEEED
i do need help though so if ur interested, my discord is pupylovs
summary of the game under the cut
you start off as the first player, a toy poodle called lana
the first cutscene shows you walking around alone through the streets, and suddenly a bag grabs you and you go out of frame.
The logo and the name appears and you can press play
Once you press play you start walking around in the view of lana
So you figure out which area gets you out of the bag with the little holes gently, (or find one of the holes and press BITE, which would demolish the entire bag)
once you leave the bag, theres a cat in your way
Standing right next to the staircase, your surroundings looks like an attic with open stairs
the cat looks at you, and meows. (The captions say “chase me.”)
and the cutscene of lana chasing the cat down the stairs go, the captions saying things like (“hi! “ “where am i?” “What kinda cat are you??” “Do you wanna play??”)
and once you get to the bottom theres a girl
standing at the very bottom of the hallway
Lana runs and bumps into her, and lets the girl pet her and hold her as the girl
gives her a treat
Lana’s eyes go down, and you get a small cutscene of the girl getting a hat with an eyepatch (that may or may not have a googly eye stuck on, possibly by a kid)
lana wakes up, infront of the girl
the girl is putting on the hat and eyepatch on her
there would be a button letting u customise the colour and type of hat after u look in the mirror (its optional though)
Theres more but thats all ill say in this post ^^ ill be posting drawings of them too :D
i will say, most of them have either fake eyes an eye patch or smth ( nothing is permanent ofc ill always take feedback)
theres approx like 5 different characters u become as the game progresses but u mostly are lana and another girl that idk the name for yet

“Fuck, this can’t b-be happening…! Ugh!”
You try redialing Chan’s number, only for it to go straight to his voicemail after only a few rings again. A soft cry spills from your lips as you pace around your living room; palms clammy around the small device.
Your heat had come early and your usual heat partner, Chan, seemed to be either ignoring your calls or way too busy to notice you’d already phoned him five times. “F-fuck, please…” You attempt to dial him one more time, biting your lip and rubbing your already slick thighs together as you listen to the phone ringing.
‘I’m sorry, the number you have dialed--’
“Damn it!”
Tumblr media
Minghao lives in the apartment next to you.
The quiet panther hybrid kept to himself most of the time and the only real times you’d seen him, he’d briefly smiled at you in passing whenever you’d both be in the hallways or elevator. You didn’t really know much about him in all honesty, but in the moment, you didn’t really care.
You storm out of your apartment, nervousness wracking your body as you stop right in front of his door. Raising a hand to knock, you momentarily think about your options.
A. Go back to your apartment and hope Chan picks up eventually
B. Ask Minghao this one time for the biggest favour of your life.
“Fuck it.”
Before you can change your mind, you quickly knock on his door, yelling a small ‘it’s me!’ as if Minghao would know. The door opens after a few tense seconds; Minghao’s tall form coming into view when he opens it wide enough.
“Who--oh.”
A look of realization washes over him and he’s quick to smell you in the few moments that the two of you just seem to stare at each other. “What exactly are you doing in front of my door like this?” He drawls.
Minghao doesn’t really anticipate the effect it has on you, but you quietly whimper in return, thighs clamped tight and body shivering at the dominating aura that the panther hybrid already exudes.
“Please… I--my h-heat partner is--isn’t responding and I… Please b-breed me… I can’t--can’t wait any l-long and it--it h-hurts...”
Minghao raises an eyebrow as he leans against the door; sharp eyes fixating on your body that won’t stand still.
“Get inside, right now.”
Tumblr media
Your fingertips tangle into Minghao’s hair as he eats you out; careful of his sleek yet fluffy black ears that protrude from his mess of hair.
Loud cries spill from you when he dips his tongue into your wet entrance before dragging it back up to your clit, teasing you as he takes his time.
“Fu--fuck, Minghao! More, more!”
“I didn’t know you were so sensitive.” He teases; lips easing into a smirk before he sucks your clit into his mouth. You let out a loud garbled moan as your entire body trembles with his touch. “I’m, ah, m-my heat…” You trail off, unsure of where you were even going with your sentence when Minghao flattens his tongue and drags it through your soaking folds. “Oh god, I--I can’t--!”
Before you can even stop yourself, you’re cumming on his tongue; fingers tightening in his messy locks and hips raising off of the bed as you grind against his flattened tongue. “Minghao, Minghao, Minghao!” The pleasure continues to wash over you even when he shakes your fingers loose from his hair and he sits up.
“You’re cute, y’know.” He smirks, lips coated in your wetness. “Just a cute ‘lil bunny getting her pussy eaten out in a panther’s bed. Aren’t you scared? I could eat you up right now, sweetheart.” His tone is teasing; eyes glimmering with mischief when your teary eyes meet his.
“Bite me. S-since, you’re so, ah, big ‘n b-bad…” You gulp as you watch him lean over you, suddenly feeling small underneath him.
“If you insist.”
Tumblr media
Minghao has never really helped anyone through their heat.
But he’s surely heard you go through yours plenty of times.
“Oh--oh, Minghao! H--harder! Please, f-fuck me harder!” Your nails dig into his bed sheets, drool dripping from your lips as he fucks you from behind.
“Fuck, you’re so loud.” He chuckles, “Do you know how loud you are, bun? When you’re getting fucked.”
Your cheeks burn hot at his question, “H-huh…?” Minghao stops his thrusts for a second, grinding against you as you moan loudly in response. His chest meets your back as he leans over you; peppering gentle kisses along your shoulder blades before nipping at your skin. The small action has goosebumps rising on your skin almost immediately as you bite your lips to hold in your noises.
“The walls aren’t soundproof, y’know. I can hear all your cute ‘lil moans and cries whenever you’re going through your heat. I can hear how rough you like to take it and how you beg and beg and beg for more.” Minghao pauses, smirking against your skin when you clench around his cock. “The way I’m fucking you is nothing compared to how you really like it, right, bun? I hear the things you’ve said to that heat partner of yours. The walls are just so thin~” Gulping, you wait for him to continue, unable to deny the way you seem to get wetter and wetter the more he talks.
“You beg whoever it is to fill you up with cum, over and over, and all night too. And I hear the way you always tell them to be rougher with you, to choke you and spit in your cute ‘lil mouth, but do they ever give it to you?”
“N-no…”
Minghao grins, kissing your skin one last time before he straightens his back and starts fucking you at a much quicker pace. He wraps his fingers around your small fluffy tail at the small of your back, tugging on it lightly as you cry out his name. “That’s right, bun~ You just need someone like me who’ll put you in your place, right? Like the good ‘lil bunny you are.”
Garbled noises spill from your lips as he talks and you can already feel yourself on the brink of another orgasm once he starts to angle his thrusts to hit your g-spot. “Ngh, M--Minghao, fuck, ah, r-right there! More, p-please!” You move your hips in tandem with his; frenzied movements letting the panther hybrid that you were close to cumming again.
“Your cute ‘lil cunt is so fuckin’ tight and warm around my cock. Fuck, I could get used to you, bun. You should come see me more often~” Minghao licks his lips as his fingers continue to play with your tail; eyes trained on the way your body shivers underneath him. “You’re scared of me but you want me to fuck you all day, don’t you? Breed your hot ‘lil pussy until you’re full of my cum. But even then you’d still be begging me for more.”
He lets go of your tail, instead reaching around your body until his fingertips are on your clit.
“Cum for me bun, let me feel how tight you get around my cock.”
A high pitched whine is all you can manage when you cum on his command; eyes clamped shut as the pleasure washes over you. You let out a choked sob in the midst of your high, already itching to get to another orgasm.
Minghao opts to grind against you as you ride out your pleasure and he can’t help but grin at the way you keep trying to fuck yourself on his cock.
Your stuttered breaths and whines are the only noise in the room when Minghao draws his hips back; eyes fixated on his cock that’s covered in your wetness when he pulls out. He gently maneuvers you onto your back as you groan.
“Don’t tell me you’re tired already, bun? I still haven’t bred your cute ‘lil cunt. Don’t you want me to fill you up with cum? Get you nice ‘n full like you want?”
Your bleary eyes blink up at him, shaky fingertips reaching down to your soaking folds. Licking your lips, you spread yourself for him, letting him see how much wetter you were getting with each passing second. He raises a brow at you, noting the lust that pools in your eyes.
“Hurry and b-breed me then, M--Minghao… I wanna, ah, feel you c-cumming too..”
The panther hybrid grins; eyes twinkling with playfulness as he positions himself at your entrance.
“Don’t mind if I do, bun~”

Recently saw a tiktok that was like "if you ship [toph and zuko] than you have issues or you see something galaxy brained that i havent" and stumbled upon the concept of aroace Zuko and i concocted this idea ages ago so im posting it now: the epic Toph x Zuko Marriage of Convenience
Okay what you are all thinking of is book 3 Toph and Zuko, which totally dont have romantic chemistry and with the added age difference is prob why no one ever considers this ship. Four years when you're a teenager is a big difference. Four years when you're in your twenties and beyond isnt that big a deal. So they're adults and they've been friends for years at this point.
You also gotta sit back and look at what they are. Toph is the only child to a very rich and very well known Earth Kingdom family. Her family name in general is huge and carries a lot of weight but you also got her own accomplishments: Master Earthbender, the Creator of Metalbending, the Avatar's Earthbending teacher, and shes a war hero. Thats big. And then you got Zuko, who at this point is the Fire Lord. Zuko himself comes from a prominent Fire Nation family, seeing as he's royalty. He's also descended from a Avatar, but i dont think thats all that well known. Zuko is a Master Firebender, the Avatar's Firebending Teacher, and a war hero. On top of being famous both these people have credibility to fall back on.
So what im leaning into here is not exactly a marriage alliance seeing as the Earth Kingdom has its own royalty but its definitely a political move
Anyways Zuko has a lot on his plate, dismantling his dad's empire and all that. When he's nearing 30 the council is all like "you need to find a bride". Zuko writes up his ex-girlfriends and finds out they're either married or he just cant bring himself to trap someone into a marriage with him after knowing how it destroyed his mom. So he's stuck with no one of his own choosing so the council and high up nobles are trying to fix him up and not-so-subtly set him up with their daughters. Half of Team Avatar comes and visits (lets say Toph, Aang, and Sokka) and witness the behind the scenes of all this. They're having tea with Zuko and two people come in at different times and try to casually talk about the marriage thing. Toph can hear things that happen in the hallways too. Zuko is all "noooooooo guys why is this happening to me" and Sokka probably finds it funny but also a little sucky, and Aang probably hates it because "Zuko should marry for love!". And Toph is all "I know right" because she can totally relate. Her parents were looking for matches for her since she was born, and now that shes visiting again they've started back up again. Her and Zuko start swapping match-making stories ("so i come home and this boy and his father are there and my mom is all like 'Toph have you met __'" "I'm in the throne room for a meeting on road construction and this guy derails the whole thing so he can introduce his niece to me"). Later on after Toph has been listening in on the palace for a few days now and shes starting to really feel sorry for Zuko. Sokka just keeps making jokes until Toph snaps at him. Aang is pretty oblivious and probably spends all day at the market looking for souvenirs to bring home for Katara. And one night while Zuko is up late doing paperwork by candle light Toph stops by because her body cant sleep at night sometimes and they get to talking and Toph jokingly throws out "what if we just married each other? Then everyone will get off both our backs!" and they're laughing and after they've calmed down Zuko has a light bulb moment and he's like "wait, that might not be a bad idea". They spend all night working out the details to their hypothetical wedding and a day later decide to actually go through with it. Theres uproar from the council of course because Zuko didnt choose their pick Toph isnt Fire Nation nobility. And then Zuko starts listing all her family's importance and stuff and the council is forced to admit to themselves its not actually a bad idea. Plus marrying Earth Kingdom would make the Fire Lord more relatable to the colonies where theyre having a lot of problems with people of mixed heritage right now. Sokka and Aang hear rumblings of this because palace servants gossip and they're debating wether or not to believe these rumors when they run into Toph and just ask her and shes all like "yeah we're talking about it" and they boys flip out. Aang still maintains that everyone should marry for love but Toph and Zuko won't budge.
Over in the Earth Kingdom Toph's parents are ecstatic because the only better option Toph could marry was Earth Kingdom royalty. They completely endorse it and only argue to not seem like pushovers and when topics revolving money come up (ex. dowery). The Earth King gets in on this because its too good a opportunity to not capitalize on it. The Earth Kingdom is abuzz because a foreign King is marrying one of their own. Everyone is hyped and Team Avatar are the only ones who find the whole situation weird because to them its not a fairytale its their actual friends.
All-in-all they get married in the Fire Nation and the guest list was awful to make but people from all over the world are there. Toph's mother freaks out the whole time because "what if Toph falls down all those steps!" The wedding is mostly all Fire Nation tradition but Toph wears a Earth Kingdom wedding dress because everything is political now. Toph and Zuko have a relatively fun night and Sokka has the time of his life. And their marriage actually really works out for them because they're friends. They make fun of fancy people and rant to each other in the evenings. Toph is still running metal bending schools but either now they have to come to her or she gets stuck with a Fire Nation security team for like 3 months of the year she spends in the Earth Kingdom and she gets flashbacks to her childhood. And Zuko is sometimes all "i miss my wife" and the servants are all "awwww they're so in love" but the truth is he wants to talk sh*t with her and because shes blind he always has to write letters with the interpreter's opinion/gossip in mind. Toph still sneaks out all the time because shes not giving up her independence willy-nilly and is not above pulling the blind card to get out of things, which irritates Zuko sometimes because that means he has to deal with boring meetings by himself. They gaang visits all the time and by the time Republic City rolls around Toph manages to get herself sent as a "ambassador" (her and Sokka have some fun their shared meetings) and then to stay on to help set up the police force, which is a little dicy since shes representing the Fire Nation but also shes teaching only metalbending so its a controversial thing. This also gives Zuko a excuse to visit Republic City more often so he can see everyone since they settled down there.

It’s Who I Am
Part 1
Description: How would The Falcon and The Winter Soldier have played out if you, the younger daughter of Howard Stark got involved? You had been kidnapped by HYDRA at a young age, your mind taken from you as they forced you to work towards creating new weapons for them and when HYDRA had fallen you had gotten free with your scattered memories for you to slowly piece together.
Word Count: 2603
You woke up for the morning, and it took you a moment to get your bearings. This had always been a problem for you, HYDRA had tampered with your mind from when you were a tween up until only a few years ago. HYDRA had taken things from your mind and put what they had wanted in. This had left you broken, able to remember somedays and not others, waking up and not knowing where you were, one moment you'd be at home and the next time you're aware of anything you're in a grocery store.
Since you had been released by HYDRA you had learned more about your past such as the fact that you were the daughter of Howard Stark, younger sister of Tony Stark, Ironman. You couldn't remember any of this though, you just had to take the word of other people saying that that was who you were. Six months ago you had come back along with half the universe, this lapse of time wasn't anything new to you so you were able to keep going better than billions of others. But the world was broken and you felt the need to help some way, some how.
You kept a journal, writing down all that you knew and remembered one day to the next. This helped you keep a better grasp of reality and your life but things were still spacey. But your urge and desire to help kept pushing at you despite that you were struggling to get your life together. You had a niece and a sister-in-law who tried to help, but you didn't know them, as much as they wanted to know you, you couldn't let them in.
One day the desire to act on that urge you had, the urge to help people readjust to their lives, to make up for the damage you had done while under HYDRA's control. The option to act on that urge presented itself. It was as you were sitting on the edge of your bed after waking up, you were scrolling through your phone when something caught your eye. It wasn't the new Captain America the government had presented, but it was the group called the Flag Smashers. They had attacked and robbed a Swiss bank, why this caught your attention you weren't sure but you knew you needed to look into them.
Despite not having a very good memory you were still smart, things engraved in your mind, knowledge you didn't have access too until you were using it. It was easy for you to find out more about the flag smashers because of this ingrained knowledge which you held. That small lead was enough for you to follow, you tell Pepper you're leaving and will be back later, later meaning eventually. From there you go out to the garage, where you had been busy building things in order to keep your mind occupied.
You had made yourself a suit, not like your brother's, not like Pepper's or Peter's or any other one which Tony had made. You put on the suit which you had built, it wasn't painted or anything, it was just the colors of the materials you had created it with. Your suit was just an experiment, basically a t-shirt and leggings that you had made it possible to fly with. The only other thing it did was record where you had been and what you did while wearing it, to help you remember.
You put on your suit, and put in the coordinates of where it is you're wanting to go then you take off. It doesn't take long for you to get where you're wanting to go in your suit, it's light and comfortable allowing you to move without restriction. It's when you enter the old warehouse that you hear voices ahead of you, you move quietly towards the voices, something you had learned during your time at HYDRA, despite not being sent out on missions.
It's as you round a corner that you see a man standing down the hallway in front of you. You quickly duck back around the corner, only to back into a wall. No scream leaves your mouth as a hand covers it to prevent any noise from being heard. Tears come to your eyes as the cold metal of the hand covers your mouth, unremembered memories causing you to panic. Fear begins to shut down your body and your knees give out from under you.
It's as your legs give out that the man behind you speaks, "who are you?"
Your heart in your throat, your mouth doesn't move to try and answer and thats when that other man who had been down the hallway in front of you comes around the corner. Your eyes meet his and there is a moment of recognition. "Hey, Bucky, let her go, she's good."
Theres a pause before the metal hand lifts from your mouth and the man in front of you catches you, helping you gain your balance before he lets go.
The moment his hands leave your shoulders your spunk comes back. Quickly recovering from the fear the feel of that metal hand over your mouth had brought upon you. The feeling of a cold metal hand over your mouth was hauntingly familiar, there was a reason it scared you even if you couldn't remember why.
The moment the man's hands leave your shoulders you turn and look at the man behind you, who had grabbed you, and you see his eyes, eyes you had seen many times before. The man in front of you recognizes you and seems to regret grabbing you, "sorry," he says softly, confirming that fact.
"It- it's fine... you're-" theres a pause as you take a good look at his face, making sure it is solidly in your mind, "Bucky." Then you turn and look at the other man, "and you're," a pause as you study his face, "Sam... Wilson?" you ask.
"Yes, thats me, Sam Wilson, you're y/n Stark right?"
You nod, "yeah, thats me..." your heart rate finally slows and you gain your composure. Your few pieces of memories concerning these two told you you could trust them and that they were most likely in that warehouse for the same reason you were, "I'm here to help." Then theres another pause, "I don't- I cannot remember a lot but I want to help."
Sam and Bucky look at each other for a moment before nodding to one another. They both know the stubbornness of the Starks, and Bucky unfortunately knows you better than you seem to know yourself, and he knows that there is no convincing you to not help. "Alright, come on," Sam says and tilts his head a bit to signal for the three of you to continue the way you all had individually been heading.
It doesn't take the three of you long to come to where it is that the flag smashers were loading the trucks with the stolen medicine and other supplies. Bucky goes to rush in and Sam stops him, you wait, taking your time to follow behind them, unsure of yourself even if you knew you wanted to be there to help. As soon as there is the possibility of a hostage and the trucks begin to move Bucky takes off running and Sam flies after him. You shake yourself out of your stupor of thought, spacey as always as you try to hold your mind together, then you take off  after them, gaining easily as your suit allows you to fly faster than Sam and Bucky can move.
The next thing you know you watch as Bucky is thrown from the back of the leading truck and into the windshield of the one following behind. A fight quickly breaks out and you are more than able to hold your own. The only time in your life you remember fighting was when you fought Thanos but you reflexively knew how to move, how to defend yourself and fight back against those much stronger than yourself.
You roll with the punches able to intercept and avoid as needed, at one point you feel a rib crack as you take a hit and make a note to make your suit more protective the next time you have a chance to work on it. The first thing that shocks you during the fight is when a shield flies over your shoulder and knocks a flag smasher back from you.
When that happens you turn to see the man who had been named Captain America now standing on the truck, fighting along side them, along with another man. The flag smashers are stronger than them though, they knock Bucky off the truck and Sam has to rescue him, sending the both of them flying off into a field. You, despite coming here alone to fight, didn't want to continue this fight alone, considering yourself alone as you don't trust this Captain America person, he just gives off bad vibes.
You jump off the truck and fly off to find the two men you had joined. They're already up and moving again when you land beside them and Sam looks at you, "you left?" He sounds a bit surprised, you don't know him, he doesn't know you and obviously the connection you share with Bucky isn't a good one yet here you are, leaving the fight to find the two men.
You shrug, "most of my memories are from the last 6 months... I don't know many people," you glance at Bucky as you walk along side him, "but the two of you are at least familiar. I don't know either of those guys so I'm trusting my instinct since thats about all I have."
They both nod a bit, "well, welcome to the team I guess," Sam says before changing the topic back to the flag smashers and what it is they could be doing and how they had definitely been fighting against super soldiers. You stay relatively quiet, only jumping in when you had. something to share from the research you had done into them to even know you'd be able to find them here. To be completely honest Sam is surprised by how different you are from your brother, he didn't expect you to be a replica of Tony because of the fact you had basically been raised by HYDRA but other than that from what he had heard you were vary similar in attitude to Tony. You still had that stubborn and sometimes arrogant air about you that Tony had, even if you were quiet and didn't offer as strong of an opinion as Tony always had.
All too soon your conversation is interrupted by a jeep pulling up and driving alongside the three of you. "That didn't go as planned, huh?" That John Walker guy attempts to start a conversation and the Jeep stops for a moment and the back door opens for the trio to get in, but then silently the trio decides to just keep walking, not getting in.
The jeep continues to drive beside you Sam and Bucky, John continues to try and talk, and only gains a response when he brings up wizards, and Bucky immediately says, "there's no such thing as wizards."
"Alright, then it's aliens or androids-"
"Or super soldiers," Sam interjects.
"Super soldiers? For real?" asks the man who seemed to be John's partner, not that kind of partner, they're just a couple of guys being dudes, what could be better than that?
"Alright, then we gotta work together," the captain says.
Only to be interrupted by Bucky once again, "that's not happening."
Eventually this conversation just leads to Bucky being passive aggressive and John insisting the three of you get a ride to the airport with him. Once all of you are in the truck you take a moment to stare at both John and Lemar as you come to learn his name is, you try to memorize their faces. You don't catch much of what is said during this time besides that they used Sam's tech to track them and John claiming to be the government.
Finally John gets uncomfortable with Bucky's staring and turns to look at you, only to be greeted once again by someone staring at him, "do they always just stare like that?" he asks Sam.
"You get used to it," Sam replies.
This is when you decide to finally say something, "I need to make sure I know your faces."
John looks at you, he hadn't been prepared to have you there with Sam and Bucky so it takes him a moment to place you. "Why do you need to do that Ms.Stark, need to get to know your new coworker's faces?" He asks, once again using that cringy friendly smile that seems glued to his face.
You see no problem with honesty so you just say, "No, Josh. You see I have a few memory problems, I don't know you so I'm trusting my gut. And its as simple as me needing to be able to pick you out of a crowd seeing as my gut says not to trust you."
After that you hear a slight noise to your right and glance over to see Bucky not even trying to hide the slight laugh he had let out at John's expense.
John doesn't know what to say to that, surprised by your blatant honesty so he pauses for a moment and gains composure before saying, "it's actually John Walker, not Josh."
You simply shrug, taking not of the fact that misnaming him had struck some sort of nerve with him. Sam and Bucky take back over, looking to Lemar and asking who the hell he is.
"Lemar Hoskins."
"Look, I see a guy in tactical gear hanging out of a helicopter I need a lot more than Lemar Hoskins," Sam says.
"I'm Battlestar, John's partner."
"Battlestar?" Bucky asks in disbelief. "Stop the car," he shouts for the jeep to come to a stop before he climbs out as John tries to stop him.
You move to get out as well, not wanting to deal with them at the moment. As you do that John gives Sam a little speech about how he isn't trying to be Steve, but it would be easier to be Captain America if he had Captain America's "wing man" at his side.
"It s always that last line," Sam scoffs before following you and Bucky down a path.
You're clenching your jaw as you walk, Sam notices and takes a moment to ask, "you good, y/n?"
"I'm fine, just trying to decide why I don't like him." You pause a moment before turning to look at Sam again, "I should get going." You pause and lift your arms, showing your shirt, "I need to go fix this thing, so that next. time I don't crack another rib."
Sam looks at you for a moment, "wait you're just walking around with a cracked rib like it's nothing?"
You shrug, "yeah, it hurts but like it's not that bad."
Sam shakes his head, "told you earlier that you're a part of this team you might as well just catch a ride with us, especially if you're planning on just coming right back once you get fixed up."
Theres a moments pause as you turn once again to look at him, offering a small smile, one of the first you've shared in a while, "alright... thanks."

Going to Kansas City...
Going to Get My Baby Back Home
The last note of Long Tall Sally tore from Paul’s throat and blasted into the exuberant crowd as the concert came to an end. He was smiling like mad as he looked between his bandmates and the people in the stadium. It was strange to not see every seat full but he didn’t care at all. There was too much adrenaline coursing through him to give it a second thought. He was bouncing on the balls of his feet as he sent a few thank you’s into the mic.
John held his shoulder and waved with him before going towards the speakers so they could prop their instruments up with the other equipment. “Fucking fantastic,” he yelled close to Paul’s ear.
“Aye, Eppy looks satisfied,” Paul yelled back and nodded to just off the stage where their manager stood.
With another smile and a pat on the shoulder, they both broke into a trot to the locker rooms, George and Ringo on their heels. Paul was still waving the whole way until they descended into the tunnel. Cool air hit his face like a blessing from above. They slowed to a slow stride to catch their breath.
Everyone was soaked in sweat and panting. They had every right to be dead tired but the electricity of the performance wasn’t about to wear off. Paul surmised they had a good 30 minutes before they were absolutely dead on their feet.
“Was weird hearing our own music. ‘Bout forgot what we sounded like,” George said as he wiped at his forehead with his sleeve.
“Small crowd and we still got paid out the arse for it. Screw a day off.”
Paul thought a day off still would have been nice. With it raining like it was when they landed, though, there wouldn’t have been much to do. Might as well make some more money. Maybe that’s why the crowd was so small - all that rain and wind kept people from arriving. It didn’t really matter -money wise- if 30,000 or 10 people came, though. The deal was at a set rate and they got paid the same either way.
“Glad to hear it was worth it, John.”
Paul turned on his heels, walking backward, to find Brian trailing behind. “Aren’t you glad we kept saying no? Got us far.”
“We should start refusing things more often,” Ringo chimed in, tapping the air with his drumsticks.
“All fab and gear and whatever,” George came up and grabbed Paul, jumping to put all his weight on Paul’s shoulders before turning him around and pushing him forward.  “but let's get the hell out of these clothes and get some kip.”
There was a general agreement between laughs and jests. They set off to the dressing room while Brian went to ready their ride to the hotel. When they finally found the room in the maze of a stadium, the airconditioning was even better than in the hallways. A fan in the corner hit them as they walked in and sent Paul’s hair on end. He collapsed into a chair at the first opportunity and yanked off his boots, not bothering to unzip them. Taking the boots to the clothes rack, he undressed and hung his outfit up accordingly. When he was happily redressed in a t-shirt and jeans, he looked on at the mess John and George were creating.
George’s clothes were on the floor, surrounding a chair that managed to not so much as catch a sock. Whereas John’s clothes trailed from the door to the vanity. He was mostly undressed, wearing only unbuttoned pants and a tie, as he searched for his clothes. Paul eyed him indulgently as he moved about the room, feeling something between annoyed and pleased. At least Ringo had made a good faith attempt, clothes messily placed on their hangers with boots sat beside Paul’s.
Paul marched over and untied the tie around his neck. “How did you even manage that?”
“I like to keep a mystery.” John’s eyes were soft and dream-like.
“Save it for later, you two,” George exclaimed and made a fake vomiting sound.
 Rolling his eyes, Paul leaned into John and picked up his discarded suit jacket, revealing John’s pile of plain clothes. “Looking for these?”
John laughed mockingly and snatched up his jumper. He had just pulled the thing on when the lights flickered out. The breath of the building cut out before wheezing back to life and illuminating the room again. John let out a low woah as they all eyed the ceiling.
“Mal blow a fuse unplugging the speaker,” Ringo joked, his gaze still fixed on the lights.
They stood there for a moment longer before going back to getting dressed and lounging. John got himself together and dressed rather quickly. Paul watched him closely but didn’t question him. When George and Ringo took a seat on either side of Paul, John was pacing the floor and tapping his thighs.
“I’m going to look for Brian. He’s taking too long.”
Paul stood. “John,” But he was gone before any protest could be made. “Great. I’ll go and get him.”
George propped his feet up on the table, taking one of Ringo’s drumsticks to spin between his fingers. “He’ll be alright. Maybe he’ll even get Eppy to tell us what’s going on.”
Paul weighed his options and dropped into the seat at the vanity. “Would be nice to know what’s keeping him.” Tapping at the maroon-painted wood, he noticed John’s glasses wrapped up in his tie. Paul held them up, pulling the tie off. “He’s got his contacts in, hasn’t he?”
“Took ‘em out, actually.”
“The git. He’ll never find his way back here if he doesn’t run into Brian.”
“Probably couldn’t find his way back with the specs. They’ll find each other though.”
Ignoring the advice, Paul was half out of his seat when a nerve-rattling bang sent him falling back. His breath hitched in his throat, his muscles tense and pulling against his skin. Ringo and George were just as stunned, leaning forward on the couch. Slowly, as if they might evoke more banging if they made a sound, the three walked to the door. Howling screams echoed outside, becoming more clear as Ringo placed his hand on the knob. When he opened it, a gust of warm and humid wind rushed into the room. The low howling wind whistled up in pitch.
There was a small set of stairs to their left that led to double doors. They were flung apart like unfolded lungs, rushing all its oxygen into the building. Outside, the parking lot was shrouded in a haze of heavy rain that made the street lights radiate a halo’s glow. They, consequently, did nothing in the way of providing actual visibility.
“That’s probably not very good.”
The lights flickered off and on again, making Paul grip the back of Ringo’s shirt. “No. Probably not.” His mind was a racehorse running through a blank expanse.
George pulled him back into the room. “Come on before we get sucked out the door.”
Steadying himself and pulling back the reins on his mind, he pointed to the other two. “I’m going to get John. Stay here in case Brian comes ‘round.”
“Can’t recall a single time when splitting up has been a good idea,” George said with a raised brow.
“Well, John’s already gone and done it. I’ll make it an even split at the least.”
No further argument was made and Paul went into the hall to find a few staff members going towards the open door. They took no notice as he went the opposite way. The once comforting cool of the hallway moved from humid stuffiness to icey cold in a matter of a few steps. He turned at the first opportunity and heard both doors close with a clank. At least that was handled.
Once he knew he was on the path to where they had originally come into the stadium, he called out, “John! You around?” There was no reply. Down the next corridor, there was another employee sliding a bolt into place at the exit doors. They rushed off, leaving Paul alone. He called out for John again.
“How the hell did I get back here?” John was standing behind Paul, one hand on his head, the other on his lower back. “I went in a circle…”
“These might have helped.” Paul brought over the glasses and slid them on John before grabbing his shoulders. “Better?”
John stuck his tongue out and shook off Paul’s hands.
“Aye, welcome. Now come on. Eppy’s probably this way.” The doors at the far end of the hallway banged against their bolts, rattling from the forceful wind that pushed through the cracks. “Let's pick up the pace, yeah?”
John only nodded, speed walking ahead while Paul struggled to keep up. He was a good 6 feet in the lead when the lights cut.
“Fucking hell.” Paul was getting tired of this finicky electricity.
“Paul?”
“Yeah. Haven’t disappeared.” He might as well have. The dark that blanketed the building was dense and consuming. He had no way to see anything at all.
“Where are you?”
“I’ve got my arms out. Just walk back towards me.” Having the clack of their boot heels would have been nice at the moment. Their sneakers were far too quiet to make out the location by. Regardless, John’s strong grip wrapped Paul’s bicep. “There we- oh-”
John’s arms wrapped underneath Paul’s, pulling them together by the shoulder blades. His head was buried into the crook of Paul’s neck. More banging echoed somewhere in the distance and John held tighter.
“Hey,” he gently rubbed circles over John’s back. “We’re alright, y’know.”
“I don’t like this.” John shook his head against Paul, trembling in his arms. His heartbeat was wild in his chest, thumping against his ribs so forcefully that Paul could feel it too. He had seen John like this before but only a handful of times. It sent Paul’s alarm bells off. “Paul, I can’t- I-”
“Okay… Okay. Let's sit, then.” They parted briefly and Paul led him to a wall so they could slide to the floor. “Come here.” John pressed against him, head on his shoulder and hand in hand.
Without the hum of electricity, the wind completely filled the deafening silence, only interrupted by the bang of doors and distant footsteps from the level above. Though that did let them know other people were somewhere, it gave an already ominous atmosphere that last nudged into horror. Paul might have been scared himself but he couldn’t think of anything other than John’s panicked breathing and shaking hand.
“I’ve got you, okay? We’re not going anywhere, neither of  us.” John didn’t respond. “You need to breathe, love. Take a deep breath for me, please.” They breathed together - slow inhale and even slower exhale - over and over. “That’s good.”
He was shaking less when he fell into Paul. “Shouldn’t there be backup lights?”
Paul chuckled softly. “You’d really think.”
“You think it’s a tornado? Mal said this was part of Tornado Valley… Or was it Alley?”
“Tornado Alley? Only in America, I swear.” His fingers were still tangled in John’s hair, lightly massaging his scalp. “They got a state-designated for hurricanes too?”
“Actually, I think they do. Maybe Florida.”
Paul let out a wholehearted laugh. John slowly worked his way into one too. “Can’t wait to be back in England. I’ll take rain and no sun every day over whatever this all is.”
“Yeah…” Another clatter of metal echoed from the dark and John tensed.
Paul gave a reassuring squeeze of his hand. “And we will get back. In one piece too. Storms can’t stick around forever.”
They settled into a mutual silence as the aches of sleep crept into their bones. John ran a hand up and down Paul’s thigh and Paul held his head against his shoulder. They both jolted every now and again but were fairly still for the most part. Any footfall that was above them stopped some time ago. At least that had calmed John’s nerves a bit further. Though Paul found it more frightening now that they were gone - not that he’d dare to voice that.
He was too tired to be scared anyway. The nonstop concerts and traveling exacerbated the stress of all of this and left him numb. It was safe to be numb now. John felt slack against his shoulder, finally at peace. A weird tranquility slipped through his skin and sunk into his bones. The darkness deepened as his eyes fluttered shut.
“What are you doing on the floor?” A drawled voice drifted into his dream. “Paul.”
He grumbled and opened his eyes, only to be attacked by searing light. He sucked in a pained breath and shielded his eyes to look for the source of the voice. Squinting, he could make out George coming down the hall. He blinked away the sting and stretched a bit. John’s head was on his lap, still fast asleep.
“Morning,” he mumbled on instinct, rubbing any leftover sleep from his eyes. “John, love. Wake up.”
“Come on before someone sees you both all snuggled up like.”
John copied Paul’s wake routine down to the “Morning.”
 “Yeah, yeah. Morning, morning.”
After some much-needed stretching, George hauled John to his feet though it was more for show than actual help. Paul followed, leaning on the wall as pins pricked at his sleeping legs. “How long have we been gone.”
George was taking the lead. He turned his head back to say, “Well, it’s past midnight. They just got the power on not even 15 minutes ago. I’d say you’ve been missing for three hours.”
Both men only grunted a response, swaying sleepily as they walked.
“Wish it was longer,” John groaned.
“Aye. I’m still wiped.”
“The storms passed enough to get to the hotel. Both of you can get back to your snuggling soon.”
A smile twitched at Paul’s lips. “Good.”

Its going to be realistic: the headmistress isn't rich, the building's falling apart and there's barely any funding. It's a complete nonprofit. It's haunted. I'm basing it after my undergraduates main building. So a convent from the 1800s lmao. Creepy towers included and long narrow hallways that are like a maze. Getting lost is a huge problem for students.
Uniforms are a thing but they aren't gendered theres just several options of top bottom combos that you can combine however you want.
All students have either been rejected from Xavier due to overcrowding or are referred by child services for families.
Most students mutations are not inherently useful or at least not very useful in normal ways. The teachers though are all powerhouses because SOMEONE has to keep these kiddos safe.
Spore can manipulate fungus but it has to already be present- great thing that most people in the US have some mold spores growing in their lungs at microscopic levels. So thats an unfortunate thing.
The headmistress can manipulate plastics.
And there's an electrokinetic on staff.
Wings that aren't flyable but you have them now congrats??
Your power makes everyone within 10 feet of you confused or terrified and there's 0 benefit here.
Controlling already present water vapor but the only thing you can make is fish.
You emitt an ethereal and ominous fog.
You can jump HIGH but you aren't DURABLE enough to withstand the landings.
You can talk to bugs and only bugs.
One student stands in the flower garden talking to..... the air????? Something??

Congratulations!!! If theres still a slott left. VLD LancexThace :D (somehow Thace survived or they meet him in another way) or LancexRegris *v* (sorry, I can't help but shipp him with the BOM xD)
Shine a light
First things first, and this is the only rule that truly matters at the end of every day:
Space is weird. Never act like you get it.
Once that particular lesson is learned and fully accepted, the amount of times surprise hits them doesn't really change—but it does help with the whole 'coping' thing.
Which is why Lance doesn't let hysterics take over him when he's separated from the team, locked inside a strange alien—okay, no, everything is alien in space, that doesn't define anything. Locked inside what seems to be a half dilapidated, hopefully abandoned, station. It's… creepy. It definitely is, and it doesn't help that it reminds him of, of, of Ulaz of all people. The remembrance should maybe comfort him but he's not taking his chances. Not when he's alone.
Incommunicated.
Activated bayard in hand, keeping his back to the walls and checking every corner, every possible hiding spot, Lance ventures further into the dark corridors. His steps barely make any noise. His breathing is loud in his ears but he knows that with the helmet on, no one else can hear it.
He's peeking into the next hallway, feeling like he's in a maze, when a shadow moves the opposite direction. Lance's heartbeat spikes.
In the second it takes him to redirect his line of vision and his bayard, he finds himself thrown to the floor. Knife to the throat, gun useless in this close range, a knee pressing down on his gut. He wheezes, tenses, tries to scramble away but the grip is tight. Then—then he takes a good look at the face of his attacker. His breath ends up caught in his throat.
"Thace?," he asks.
The knife doesn't let up.
-
A lot of reassurances and explanations later, Lance finds himself inside the only part of this station that's still functional. It's locked away, partially hidden, and only someone with those blades can access it. Which is the only reassurance he himself can ask for, because this means—this means it must really be Thace, and not, and not—
From where he's sitting on the edge of the small emergency cot, Lance can see all of the scars on the other's body. Places where… fur? hair? (he isn't too sure if it can be defined as either of those) is shorter than the others, scarce, and the skin underneath has long healed, with different kinds of discoloration. Lance thinks it's not too different from the burn scar taking all over his back. From shoulders to the curve of his spine, right where his ass starts. The skin is all one big mark, a patchwork that shows healing that happened at different rates.
He wonders if Thace also hates seeing them in passing reflections. Wonders if he feels shame.
"So," clearing his throat, he looks all over the room again, rubs his fingertips over the handle of his weapon, "how long—"
"I escaped the explosion out of sheer luck," Thace hums, writing down something, or perhaps going over stock or who knows, Lance doesn't understand their written language, "and then, well. I needed somewhere to hide. I knew they'd find out I was still alive, and they'd give chase. This was—this place wasn't my first option."
"Huh."
"My first four hideouts were… compromised. I found this place by accident, I didn't, didn't remember it from the records I'd read."
Lance blinks, does his best to suppress a shudder. "And then I showed up. By accident, as well."
Thace stops, then. He puts down the things he was using to write and turns around to look at the human. One side of his face is heavily marked by scars.
"I don't believe in accidents," he tells Lance, eyes shining under the flickering lights. "Something brought you here. Which is why we must run."
-
At the very least, the lion is bigger than those cramped up quarters. The two small rooms had been scraped clean as fast as possible and then they had quickly relocated to the lion. As far as stealth goes, the animal shaped ship certainly does them no favors, but it is fast, and, above all, still functioning. It only needed a handful of repairs, and with Thace helping him, Lance managed to get those done in record time.
Being out in open space will always remain a novelty. The stars are always different and the sense of voyage never ends. Lance sits on the pilot chair, stretches his back. Half turning to look at Thace by his side, he smiles and points with a hand towards the back.
"There's a cot if you want to rest some more. It's definitely bigger than the one you had, I mean, I bet we both can fit—"
For the first time, Thace's expression changes. It's… mischievous.
"Is that an offer?"
Lance halts all his thoughts. His face heats up in a matter of seconds.
"I—"
"Don't worry," smiling, which makes his eyes shimmer, Thace rests a hand on Lance's shoulder, looking out of the viewport again. "I'm far from tired. Besides, you need someone to help you navigate this sector."
"Ye-yeah," Lance tries not to shudder. "You-you are right."
-
Their comms signal is still a bust and perhaps that is for the better, considering they are being chased. Pidge's stealth mode goes haywire after a wide shot hit something and now it only works for a couple of minutes before it starts titillating. It's not enough time to cross a blockade.
"We can't fight all of them," Lance says, voice shaking but hands steady.
"If we can hide underneath the belly of one of those cruise ships…" Thace leans closer to the viewport and from where he's sitting, Lance gets distracted by the other's reflection. "Under that one," he points, frowning, "the stealth mode should give us enough time to get in position. Even if they start shooting, we'll remain covered by the bulk of the cruise."
Shifting his eyes from the serious face with the shining irises, Lance follows the path pointed. A small smile makes his lips curl.
"Alright. Let's do this!"
-
Passing through is a feat of good luck. When they make it safely to the other side of the blockade, Lance jumps up from the chair and onto Thace's chest, pulling him in for a hug.
"We did it!" he says with happiness and relief clear in his words and no self-consciousness creeping in just yet.
It makes Thace laugh, loud and clear, with no heavy weight bringing the sound down. He wraps an arm around Lance's small waist, and now their bodies are closer.
Ah, there it is. Self-consciousness.
"Yes," Thace doesn't let go and instead he nuzzles Lance's cheek, the part of it not fully covered by the helmet. It makes Lance's heart skip a few beats. "We did it."
-
After the scan, the small planet is deemed safe enough for them to hide, even if for just a couple of days. Traveling nonstop is tiring on both the body and mind. And they are both in dire need of a proper shower.
Luckily here the bodies of water are safe, and so after setting up camp (the lion hidden not too far away) Lance takes off his armor and the black suit underneath, staying only in his underwear. He runs to the shore, gets his feet wet and then he…
Thace smiles as he watches the other dive into the waters, laughing in such a carefree way, like they aren't being chased, like their heads don't have a reward attached to them. It must be nice, to be able to still enjoy living while the threat of death is after them. It must be—
"Thace!" Lance screams his name from where he's standing, water reaching well above his waist. "Come here! It's nice!"
He has scars, that's the thing. So many of them, from the explosion and from before. And the human has seen some of them, has seen the one taking over his face and the reaction was never one of disgust or fear. No. Lance treated him like nothing was wrong. And that, that was the greatest novelty of all.
So he follows suit, shedding his uniform, getting down to the bare minimum needed to keep him covered—blade securely strapped to his thigh—and he goes after the human. He all but jumps into the water, grins when he catches up to the other and then he—
Lance is looking at him with wonder. Not just that, no, there's also… there's also curiosity, and Thace holds his breath and Lance moves closer, as those hands rest on his chest, and Lance is leaning in, straining to reach his face and so Thace is leaning down on instinct, leaning till, till.
So this is a human kiss, Thace thinks as Lance's lips are on his. The touch is soft, delicate, unsure. It's. It's nice. It's really nice.
A squeak stumbles out of Lance's mouth when Thace picks him up, big hands enveloping his waist, and then they are both laughing, dripping water and fears and wrapped in warmth and certainty. This feels good. This feels right.
That night, when they go back to the camp, they share the same cot. It's a perfect fit.
-
When they finally make contact with Kolivan, Thace has already promised his blade to Lance. Even through the holoscreens of the lion's comms, it's painfully obvious that their togetherness is not simply partnership forged in survival. There's more, so much more, and Thace shrugs with a huge smile on his face when Kolivan sighs wearily.
"A rescue mission is on its way," the leader says.
"Cool," Thace winks at him just as the screen shuts off. He doesn't care too much, because he then turns to Lance and they are kissing again, like they can't stop.
And that is true. They really can't stop.

Realms of wonder.
Hm? Curious as ever, i see. Good.
"Oh death, why must you leave me? Is it not too soon?" That's all that's left from the lullaby Ayame's mother used to sing to her. So now, she ventures there once more, not in search of fame, power, or anything of that nature, no, she ventures far into that twisty realm for entertainment.
Tw: slight mentions of alchohol, slight dark themes.
In the dreamrealm, most things will try to hurt you. But they cannot unless you look at them directly. Obviously, there are some exceptions to that simple rule.
That, is the case of the hunters. You see, the hunters are huge creatures that strongly resemble owls. They fly high up, high enough where if you look at one, you dismiss it as nothing more than an owl, since, well, the laws of this place are very different from our own, something that doesn't make sense to us, could very well be a normal, every day thing in there. Hunters, however, are very violent creatures, they hunt and they kill anything that dares to enter what they have deemed their territory.
They walk on two feet and they stalk their pray for as long as it takes to secure the kill. Very few have survived an encounter with a hunter, but those that do say they dont only have human legs, but also human eyes.
Eyes that seem to hold so many secrets, it drives a deep fear to anyone that looks.
Oh, and another thing, hunters arent exactly from the dreamlearm. They come from somewhere else, another place where reality doesn't reach. Sadly, no one knows what they are and where they are from, but those that once did where driven to madness long ago.
The hallways where littered with dust and small pieces of decayed wood, the portraits of faces unfamiliar that once lined the walls where torn to shreds, claw marks visible on the peeling wallpaper behind.
"Hm?"
She heard glass crunch under her boots, but she also thought she heard someone else's footsteps behind hers. Something she kept at the back of her mind throughout the whole night ask she kept walking through destroyed rooms.
Outside, somewhere in the far distance, Ayame struggled to listen, but she heard a screech that almost sounded like someone either crying, or screaming. Of course, she knew what it was, she dares not forget, but she didn't care at that point, if she was quick enough, she could get out of that place before they even managed to get down from the skies.
If not, theres always the option to fight, you know.
There was a nasty burn on one of the bedroom walls, but Ayame didnt pay it much mind as she had already left and closed the door behind her. She poked her head through yet another empty doorframe, only to find a vivid red bloodtrail leading to the bathroom. Ayame knew what this was, she wasnt stupid. She's been to the dreamlearm before, she knows it's traps, it's cruel twists and turns designed to play on your humanity, empathy, and last, your desire to protect and preserve life. Be it human, or not.
The dreamlearm, unlike many others of it's kind Ayame has seen over the years, was made seemingly for people that are kind and caring, not people that are careful, or rather, in Ayame's case, completely mental. People become cautious and distrustful by life's cold hands, she knew that far too well. And, that is why she keeps visiting, it would seem that the dreamlearm managed to capture and keep her attention like a bird fluttering to escape from a fancy, silver cage.
"I've never been to this part of the library before."
She starts to look around, picking up book after book that catches her attention and putting it back down the second she loses any kind of feeble intrest she had in it.
"Or at least, i think i haven't."
Her eyes widened slightly when her gaze fell upon a very particular book. One that had the prettiest, deepest blue as a cover and the most hypnotic, elegand golden letters spelling out it's otherworldly title. It was a rather small book, one Ayame could hold open with just one hand. One that had enough pages for a blissful afternoon of light reading without it becoming boring or uninteresting within about an hour.
She hummed a familiar tune as she opened the book, flipping to random pages until she got to the middle. There, she found a letter. it was old and the paper was quite yellowed by that point, it had a few stains that looked like what Ayame guessed to be teardrops and one of the edges appeared to be burnt a bit.
A dry chuckle escaped her lips as she spoke.
"How predictable."
Curiosity killed the cat, as they say. And Ayame is no different.
The letters on the page of the book caught her eye, and she, like any normal person, desided to read a bit, see what the fuss was all about.
"Oh that's just horrible!"
She exclaimed, taking out the letter before shutting the book shut with a satisfying sound.
"I love it!"
She continued with a small laugh, holding the letter between her pointer and middle finger before putting down the book on the wooden, chipped, round table. She opened the folded letter gently, her eyes scanning the cursive writting.
Turns out, the small book she found was a diary of a man famous for his bravery snd courage. He was a man many knew for his books, where he'd go out and find the most dangerous animals in their natural territory. Some said he did it to show that most did not attack unless provoced, others believed that to be far too naive, and instead insisted that he only did that for the adrenaline, and the overwhelming fame that soon followed.
The diary held within it's torn pages fascinating evets, all his travels and adventures, but also the dark secrets he kept hidden from the world, and wisely so. Ayame read only a tiny bit, for his life wasn't that interesting to her, she only wanted to know how his life fell apart. It was all written in there, in that small book, and she couldn't help but turn page after page as she read about how everything fell apart around him.
This man had a daughter, and that daughter was someone Ayame had met only a few short weeks ago. I believe her curiosity was justified, but then again, who am i to say that.
Ayame looked away for only a second, no, even less than that, but by the broken door she saw a counter full of alcohol. The world's finest wine, the strongest vodka she knew of, her favorite whiskey, and so, so much more there waiting for her.
So it knows what i like, huh? Good! This should make things much more fun.
The dreamlearm was known to do things like this sometimes. If a person enters that is not easily tricked by bloodtrails and screams, the realm and all it's dangers waiting patiently will try and find other ways to lure you deeper. Ayame had gotten quite lucky, usually if it got to that point, you'd be driven mad by voices of loved ones calling out for you, of cries and blood curdling screams for help and other things which i cannot speak of for i am afraid they are far too horrible.
The cry echoed again, only this time, it was closer, much closer.
"Oh? What's that?"
Her voice was loud in the empty room as her eyes where glued to the half broken window on the crumbling wall to her left.
"It's too big to be an owl. Plus, they dont have tails like that. That is, if owls even have tails."
She scoffed, angry at herself for making so much noise. She decided to open the window, a decision that would surely be looked back upon through lenses of regret soon enough.
Maybe if she acted like she didn't know, the dreamlearm would show her just how much power it truly had over it's illusions, and her mind.

This is the very extensive and detailed rant of a fed up black, female student of class 2020
-You are free to scroll past this if you want. I really just needed to get this off my chest. But if you have advice or are experiencing a similar situation, feel free to message me-
So first off, I haven't liked going to school since I was 9. And highschool has only deepened my loathing of it. But maybe I don't hate school in general. Maybe I just hate the schools I've gone to ( 4 in total ). This rant is about highschool specifically. Perhaps what I'm about to type is normal and I'm overreacting. But I'm tired of not talking about my problems because I'm worried that I'll sound like an ungrateful brat. Typing/ writing about my issues makes me feel better. And I really need to feel better.
So here are the main points in order of severity: Low income, Advisory, Graphic Arts and Discipline/Work Ethic
Low Income:
I've only ever gone to low income schools in my neighborhood. I hoped high school would be different but thanks to the crappy education of my old school and an even crappier selective enrollment test score, I couldn't get into the schools I wanted. Then again my single mother probably couldn't afford those other schools anyway.
My highschool shares a building with another highschool. And unfortunately they called dibs on the best features and have control of the heating and ac. We don't even have our own gym. We also have the least amount of space with the smallest class being mine of 144 seniors. So there's a lot of packed classrooms.
Speaking of having way too many students, recourses are slim as a result. Our best equipment, chromebooks, need to be reserved weeks in advance by the teacher and even then they still may not be able to get enough of them for their class. Said chromebooks can often be missing keys, not work at all or be stolen easily because of their small size.
A few other issues are terrible lunches ( I've been bringing lunch from home since sophmore year), very limited field trips, mice infestation, very few clubs ( if we have any idk ) and teachers have to pay for just about everything class related.
Advisory:
Advisories were created to prepare us for greek life in college. I honestly think it's to keep everyone in check but ok. Even so I have absolutely 0 interest in anything frat or sorority related ( no offense to those who do ) as well as many of my classmates but advisory is mandatory.
My first 2 years of advisory were hell. Most of my advisory sisters were either people I'd never talk to because we weren't in the same class, had nothing in common or they were straight up terrible people. I should mention that freshman year has the worst students because about 30% don't make to the next grade or just transfer. Most of my advisory sisters I had problems with were in that 30% ( a few had already repeated ).
Since I kept to myself there were very few incidents were I was put into a tense situation with them. The main conflicts involved our advisor, who I guarantee you was not the problem. She was essentially a poor, white, optimistic, young math teacher from out of town that was thrown to the slaughter. And my cowardly self watched not wanting to be next.
She ended up leaving by junior year so what was left of my advisory merged with another and got a new advisor. The only downside is that our new advisor is a firm believer in " sisterhood " and no cliques ( even if you converse easier with a certain group of people and advisory is already a forced clique in itself ). Maybe I'd be more up for advisory events , which we rarely have , if my advisory experience wasn't sullied so early on.
Graphic Arts:
The reason I chose my school was because it had an art class. In seventh grade I knew I wanted to have a career in art and that my talent was lacking but had potential. So you can imagine my horror when I learned that the art teacher had left once I'd gotten there.
I was sad but stayed positive and even highly recommended them to get another art teacher. Then by sophomore we got an art after school program ( 4:25 to 6 twice a week ). I managed to keep my grades the same and take the classes every week for the entire school year. I only missed about 4 days total. For once I actually enjoyed staying after school.
The class taught me so much and I didn't have to wait for the summer to take an art class downtown. Even better I got to interact with other young artists of my race ( there was usually only one other black kid at the summer classes ). Everything was finally looking up.
Then the art galleries happened. The school hosted one per semester. I brought my art to display but I couldn't stay cuz of a shitload of math homework. I got complimented the next day but still regretted not staying. So I vowed to attend the next one with even more pieces than before.
The night finally came and I was hyped. Me and two seniors were in charge of doing caricatures for free ( one senior gave me a dollar tho ). I had fun with that but noticed something weird...none of our art was displayed.
Apparently they cut it out for time along with the theatre clubs performance. And I would've been fine with that. If my family hadn't come.
The icing on the cake was when they turned off the lights in the hallway where we were drawing the caricatures so they could start the show for the performing art groups. I couldn't contact my family until the show was over and booooiii were they pissed. Especially my mom. I was more sad than anything. I had a feeling my school valued the performing art more and this just proved that. At least now we have an actual art class. And my art teacher is awesome and supportive as hell.
Discipline/ Work Ethic:
These are together cuz they've equally fucked me up. Don't get me wrong. I have a 4.2 gpa and 0 detentions.
The problem is my classmates.
I have been to soooo many class/school meetings about behavior and grade issues over the past 4 years. One of which a staff member said " now i know all of ain't bs-in' but why aren't those people helping the ones who are."
Like wow! Thanks. I hate it.
I'd be happy to help my fellow classmates. It's just that their version of help is cheating off my tests and copying my homework.
So yeah my bad. I've been sooo selfish.
I can count on my hand the amount of times I've been told that I'm doing a good job directly and not in front of a class as a way to embarrass them.
This year behavior was so bad that they made a competition to see which advisory would get the least demerits. Big mistake. My heart goes out to all the poor well behaved students who lost because of a few advisory mates. It only takes one. The record for most demerits in a day was 30 I think.
I forgot the competition was going on at some point cuz I've only gotten 2 demerits in 4 years. My advisory won second and we played the waiting game for our prize only to have a pizza party with 17 other advisories. The winning advisory was salty as hell. But hey we got free lunch at least.
I managed to get good grades simply by doing everything on time and having no social life. This was by choice really. I promised myself I'd do better in college but now I gotta study for ap.
It was actually ap literature that gave me a new perspective on my classmates work ethic. We were given a lengthy reading assignment but the due date was stretched by two class days and the weekend. Even though I'd been mentally drained lately ( by lately I mean since the 1st week of school ) and had other work to do, I completed it with slightly less annotations.
Upon the due date I discovered that I and one other classmate completed the reading. Even the valedictorian didn't do it!!! And this wasn't a one time thing either.
In fact my class is notorious for never doing work on time. I'm talking completing-a-project-in-the-class before-the-it's -due- for bad. And some people I understand. Some of them really need help and resources. But every one else. Excuses excuses. The extended due dates gave me extra free time but it made the work I completed on time feel pointless. Like I could've just not done it and not face any consequences.
I tried that and was stressed out all day to the point of doing the work anyway. School's got me whipped I guess.
So if I hate highschool so much why do I go on time everyday, miss at most 3 days a year, do my work, behave myself and study??? Simple. I'm trying to get out. Having a good gpa and test scores will get me more scholarships cuz God knows my mom can't afford art college ( I got into my first choice so yeah:). Really highschool has just been a means to an end.
I've had my good days and have made some friends but I really just wanna run to hills with my diploma in hand. And thats what's kept me going. But now we're quarantined.
And my school has decided to make work optional.....and I have all A's......
Needless to say I've barely done any work at all. If we never have to go back theres a good chance I won't. I'm so numb at this point that I don't care that we may not have a prom ( aka the only dance I was ever going to go to ).
I'm just done. Done and fed up.
But thank you to my mom, family, bestie, teachers and my classmates that actually want to have a future for keeping me going. If I don't completely give up it's thanks to you. Future me, I hope you get everything you want at art school:)

Love is a Powerful Thing
Request: If you are willing to write Riverdale could you do a Wynonna Earp/Riverdale Crossover. Where reader is dating Betty. And she is the youngest Earp and one day a revenant tries to attack her and her sisters get involved. And the core four find out the Earp curse and it starts angst with Betty for keeping the secret. But could it have a fluffy ending.
A/N: Sorry its taking me so long to upload imagines. Also this was the most challenging piece I’ve written so far so sorry if it sucks, i hope it doesn’t, but I’ll take any comments or pointers as a way to improve so thanks. Hope you guys like this.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Life isn’t always simple. Life is complex and full of ups and downs. Life is full of hidden and unknown secrets, but you, you were supposed to be different. Your Ex had kept secrets from you and your sisters were keeping a secret from you and you didn’t want to end up having a bad relationship because of it. So when your sisters finally told you the reason for wanting you to leave town, you told yourself you would immediately tell Betty about it.  At least that’s what you thought before Doc Holiday swore you to secrecy. You should have never listened to him because now you were stuck with watching her and Jughead together. You stand at your locker thinking about the night everything had changed for you.
________________________________________________________________________________
You were currently in Betty’s room sitting on her floor doing homework. The two of you had two classes together and History was one of them along with English but you two flew right passed the English homework like it was nothing.
You were brought out of your thoughts by your girlfriend hitting you in the arm with the history book.
“Ouch, what the hell was that for,” you question turning to your girlfriend.
“Were you even paying attention to the homework question that I literally just asked you,” Betty laughs.
You stare at her and bite your lip before shaking your head.
With a sigh Betty puts the textbook down and gives you her full attention,” at least you’re honest.”
For a split second your smile falls before you plaster another one back on,” its one of my more positive features.”
Betty rolls her eyes. “Do you want to talk about what’s bothering you?”
You make a face,” is it an optional question or one of those that you make sound like a question when really you just want an answer?”
Betty raises an eyebrow.
Sighing you close your textbook,” I have a secret that I just can’t tell you about. And I know that sounds terrible and you’ll hate me but I just can’t tell you.”
Betty frowned but nodded her head. “Is the secret something that will get someone hurt?”
You put on your poker face as you shake your head. Deep inside you could feel your heart shatter for lying to her face but you made a promise to your sisters and you took one of Doc Holiday’s oaths.
“Is there someone else,” Betty asks.
You play all the possible options in your head before hanging your head. This was what you were going to have to go with in order to keep her safe.
Betty taking your silence as her answers tears her eyes away from you,” do I know her?”
You felt your entire world crumble as she began to cry. “No you don’t know her,” you say picking up your books. “I’m going to go. I’m so sorry Betty.” You stand and grab your bag before running down her stairs and out to your car.
________________________________________________________________________________
Closing your locker you feel Archie pat your shoulder. Archie was the only one who knew everything about you and your family. He knew it was hard for you to be away from Betty and to watch her become closer to Jughead.
“You know after what happened with Jaelene I’m surprised you didn’t tell Betty about the curse,” Archie whispers to you as you two go to class.
“Yeah, well, when Doc has you swear that you won’t tell anyone on your life, you sort of do as he asks,” you say with a sigh. You were frustrated not only with Doc and your family but with yourself for not being honest. Had you been honest with Jaelene maybe she’d still be alive, but with Jaelene you had waited to long to break things off.
“Oh come on,” Archie groans,” Doc isn’t even in Riverdale he won’t know if you tell her.”
“Archie, I know you’re trying to be a good friend and all but could you just let it go Betty is with Jughead anyways,” you walk into your English class that you share with Archie and Betty. You take your seat behind Archie and beside Betty. Betty thankfully wasn’t in class yet so the two of you kept talking.
“So not true but if you’re going to sit here and believe that then fine,” Archie says taking out his notebook and writing the notes down.
As class goes on you get an unsettling feeling in the pit of your stomach. You look over to the seat next to you and notice Betty never came in. You text Veronica and Jughead to see if either had seen her or if she was with them. When both answer back with a ‘no’ you instantly start to worry. You hustle through the rest of your day making phone calls here and there to Betty and when you don’t get a text back or even a call back you call your sisters.
“Vincent is here Waves, no you don’t understand its not just about the… Fucking hell Waverly could you please stop trying to tell me that Revenants can’t follow me here.” Releasing a frustrated sigh you roll your eyes before telling Waverly about the Earp before Wyatt that lived outside of Purgatory. “Yes theres another completely different curse it only happens to the last child of the family. No, Waverly its not that. Waverly, are you going to let me finish or did you just want to speculate the entire time, because I am in a bit of a rush to get to my ex before she gets murdered by a revenant. No, I don’t know where...wait yes I do, the church in Purgatory I think by midnight he’ll do the dumb ritual. I’m driving as fast as I legally can Waves. Don’t put Wynonna on the phone, no Waverly please… hi Nona,” you grimace. Wynonna gives you an ear full as you drive to purgatory.
Once you get there you drive straight for the church and park a few yards away.
You run into the church glancing around looking for anywhere or anything someone could hide a body in. You glance at your watch before sprinting down the stairs in the church to the basement.
“Betty are you down here,” you yell out. The first thing you notice is the ankle-high water thats rising slowly. The basement of Purgatory’s church was huge and stretched for at least a mile. The panic really started to set in when I thought of the number of rooms and boxes you’d end up having to go through. “Fuck my life.” You take off running to the end of the hall and start searching.
“Y/N! Oh, this is like every horror movie.” Hearing your older sister call your name you sigh in relief.
“Waves help me look through these rooms for Betty,” you yell from the room you’re in.
“Come on Betty, where are you,” you say to yourself as the water rises to just slightly above your knee. Thinking back to the riddle Vincent told you the day he took Jaelene you run out of the room you’re in and run to the hallway looking for the door with the upside-down cross. “Waverly look for any upside-down crosses.
 After finding three you begin to piece together the riddle.
Waverly glances at you and then at the waist-high water. “The others started looking around town shortly after you called. Any ideas where your girlfriends is?”
You think long and hard about the riddle before looking up,” Oh fuck.”
“What?”
“The bell. She’s chained to the bell. Which means,” You get cut off when something pulls you under the water.
Squirming you kick at the revenant that grabbed you. Your sister ends up underwater next to you and you instantly grab for the dagger hidden in your boot and stab the revenant before resurfacing. “Come on Waves we have to get to the bell and we’re running out of time.”
You and Waverly wade through the water to the stairs leading back up. You spot your sister, Doc, Nicole, and Jeremy fighting off some of Vincents revenant friends.
“Waverly I have to get to the bell and tell Betty the truth or else she will plummet into that basement full of water and I refuse to let that happen. So, you are going to come with me and distract Vincent so I can tell her the truth.” Waverly looks like she’s about to argue when you had her your dagger. “You might not share the same Earp blood but it’ll work for you.”
Waverly nods before following you up the stairs to the bell. As you get to the last time you spot three revenants and instantly tackle one taking his weapon and using it on the other two before kicking him out of the window.
You look for the rope to pull the bell towards you. “Hold on Betty, I’m going to get you out of this mess.” You pull on the rope before tying it to one of the window panes. “Betty I have to tell you something. I’m not who you think I am. You know how I always get mad in history class when we talk about Wyatt Earp and Doc Holiday.” Seeing Betty nod you notice the strap in her mouth. You go to remove it and continue,” I’m an Earp and Earps have this curse where revenants come back to life. But that’s not the only curse we got stuck with. The last child born to the family after age sixteen has to tell the person they love the most the truth about the curse or they’ll die and it’ll count as one of Wyatt’s kills. Anyone that an Earp kills will be brought back to life as a revenant and the only person that can kill a revenant is an Earp,” you say as you hear Waverly yell your name. You look to where she is and gulp,” look I know that’s a lot to take in at once but the catch to my curse is you have to find it in your heart to forgive me even if its not now but thats the only way that those chains will let you go. I know I don’t deserve your forgiveness but if you could find it in your heart to forgive me one day I’d really appreciate. And also sorry for lying it was Doc Holiday’s idea not mine.”
“Y/N!” Waverly yelled as she gets tossed into you. Wynonna comes up the stairs with Doc close behind.
“Fucking hell, I’m tired of this shit. This is why I moved in first fucking place,” you groan sitting up. Waverly hands you your dagger as you stand up.
Vincent takes Betty as the chains break meaning she has or will forgive you. “Tell your sister to drop it or your girlfriend dies.”
You look at Wynonna than make a face,” wait, what? We broke up. She knows the truth, she’ll forgive me whenever she wants why are you making this so difficult.”
Vincent laughs and you make a disgusted face. “Thats not how your curse works she had to break up with you but you broke up with her. She had to fall out of love with you.”
You look at Doc as you feel your blood boil. “Did...Did you just feel like leaving that part out? Did you not do your research? You said if I broke up with her she’d be fine you didn’t say that her falling in love with me would complicate things. What you have nothing to say? I had to lie to her face twice because you said she’d hate me after.”
Doc holds up his hands,” I thought-”
“I’m tired of everyone telling me what to do and thinking for me,” you yell at the three. “I lost my friends because of you but I’m not losing the one person I love more than life itself because you idiots.” You turn and toss your dagger into Vincent's arm. Wynonna takes that as her cue to shoot him and send him back.
“Nice job Y/N,” Wynonna says. She gives Betty a nod. “And you must be Betty. I wish we had met under different circumstances.”
Betty nods. “Me too.”
Waverly smiles at Betty before hugging her,” thank you for taking care of my sister.”
Betty smiles looking at you over Waverlys shoulder.
“Doc you and I are going to have a long talk about why you don’t interfere in Y/N’s life,” Wynonna growls. She gives you a pat on the back before going back down with Doc and Waverly.
“Betty I’m so,” your cut off when you feel her crash into you.
“You should have told me, we promised no secrets and I told you all about the things I’ve done,” Betty says.
You hold her close as you feel tears run down your cheeks,” I know and I regret not telling you. I just didn’t know how to tell you. I didn’t want you to like freak out and stuff but I realize that lying to you was a big mistake and if I could change what happened I would.”
“You know he wasn’t wrong.”
“Huh,” you ask into her shoulder.
“I did fall in love with you and even after that night I was still so madly in love with you,” Betty says.
Pulling back you frown at her with raised eyebrows,” we have to talk about your standards. I literally said I cheated on you and you still loved me after? Honey.”
Betty laughs punching you in the arm,” shut up you ass.” She captures your lips with hers and gives you a soft kiss. “Lets get back to Riverdale before people think something happened to us.”

Chapter One

Tumblr media
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The clock was slowly ticking by, as if time had just abruptly stopped. Pencils clicking against the wooden desks could be heard throughout the classroom as your teacher collected the tests. Most students had their heads down, ready for the bell to ring for break. You, however, had your eyes trained on the window to your right, continuously looking around the schools yard, as if something would magically appear and take away the boredom etched in your eyes.
As time went on, the ever lasting quiet continued, and the peers around you began to slowly drift off, drool evident as it seeped onto the geometry books in front of them. And you couldn’t blame them, with the mix of the silent room and the fact you had woken up merely two hours ago, drowsiness had fought its way to you as well. Your hand rested against your head, as you leaned onto the front of your desk, head slowly slipping down your arm. Everything was calm as you found yourself being in between your dreams and being awake.
What felt as hours had only been a few minutes when a sudden burst of yelling was heard through your closed classroom door. Your eyes snapped open as you slowly brought your head up. The confused eyes of your classmates travelled around the room, everyone looking around at each other as if they knew what was happening outside. Murmurs of what was going on were drowned out by the resounding noises that grew louder and more apparent. The bearded man who was once grading everyone’s tests rose from the spot behind his desk, stepping out to the door.
You sat in the corner, slumped by the window, curiously watching the teacher to see his reaction of the chaos outside. “Everyone stay here, and please keep calm and stay quiet. I’ll be back, I want to see what this uproar is about. Stay in your seats!” The teacher dismissed the class, opening the door and disappearing into the havoc taking place. As quickly as the man had walked out the door, it was slammed shut behind him.
Almost immediately after the adult had left the room, the air grew loud with conversations surrounding the events that could be happening just outside your classroom walls. All though you remained in your seat, not mixing in with all the rising talk, you couldn’t help but wonder yourself what exactly was going on. Was someone in your school? Did a famous singer suddenly show up at your schools front door? Was a fight going on? All these options had you slightly worried, no matter how big or small they may possibly be.
As you aimlessly looked at the classroom door, praying what was going out there stayed out, the boy with the rounded face that had been sitting next to you since the beginning of the school year, turned over to look at you.
“What do you think thinks going on out there? Soonyoung said he thinks it’s the freshman’s rallying against the no sugar ban.” As if you were brought back out of a trance, you turned to face the owner of the questions.
Honestly, you didn’t know what was going on out there. You didn’t even have a good guess as to what was happening. All the ideas that were temporarily filling up your thoughts were just irrationally based off of the curiosity and fear of what it could be. Sighing, you leaned back into your chair, sliding away a fly away from your face.
“Honestly, Seungkwan, I wish I knew. I don’t have a solid guess. I mean, for all we know maybe Soonyoung’s right. It just seems weird that all the screaming, and what seems like bombs going off, would be from a simple ban of sweets and sugary shit.” You glanced over at Seungkwan, then turned your head to look back at your original gaze of looking out the window.
Seungkwan hummed in agreement, his hand moving to ruffle his hair back. “That’s true, for all we know a horde of zombies could be roaming our halls.” Seungkwan booed like a ghost as he wiggled his fingers in your direction.
Laughing at the boys sad attempt to lighten the mood up, you swatted his hands away from getting closer to your sides as they inches closer. You grinned before reaching over to shove his shoulder, “you’re going crazy, Seungkwan.”
“Quite possib-“
Before Seungkwan could finish his retaliation, a loud thud banged against the shut classroom door. As everyone got up to examine what was now stuck against the door, you leaned over the desk trying to get a peak for yourself. Unfortunately for you, your desk was sat in the far back corner, not in a viewing distance of the silver door the students were gathered around.
A loud series of screams and curses were heard, the crowd jumping away from the door and scrambling to stand as far back from the entrance as possible.
“THERES A FUCKING HAND ON THE GLASS” the tall grey haired boy pointed to the door, ducking behind the now deceased teachers desk.
Not believing what the giant had,
ear-piercingly screeched, you stood up from the comfort behind your desk, walking your way over to the once crowded door.
You rolled your eyes at the immature words that were said, “Seriously you guys, were not 5. How about we don’t play sick jokes like tha- WHY IS THERE A BLOODY HAND ON THE DOOR, AND WHY IS IT MISSING FINGERS”.
Your hand grasped across your mouth, your
e/c eyes beginning to widen like the bug you spotted on the way to school. You looked around the room, making sure you and the now terrified Mingyu, whom was still hiding behind the desk, weren’t just going crazy.
In the midst of the freaking out and panicking everyone was doing INSIDE the classroom, you all had seemed to forget just what was happening outside. The bickering happening between you and the class was soon cut off.
“WAIT”
The class immediately shut their mouths at the sudden outburst from the class rep, Seungcheol. All heads turned toward the boy who was etching his way closer towards the door.
Soonyoung furrowed his eyebrows together, stepping away from Seungkwan, who was just ranting about the bloody hand, whose blood was still tragically smeared over the glass.
“What is it Coups?” Seungcheol looked out the door, scanning over the scene outside the safe haven classroom, his face mimicking the one the younger boy was showing. He turned his body back to his peers, them all messily scattered across the room.
“Do you guys hear that??”
You looked over at the boy by the door, walking over to where he was standing.
“Um, I don’t.. hear anything” you tilted your head, glancing over to Seungcheol. You pondered for a moment, maybe Coups is going crazy? His face frowned upon that, but his eyes told a different story. If he kept rolling them they’d end up falling out of his head, pft.
“EXACTLY- you don’t hear anything! Do you not recall the screaming and bangs that were JUST happening?”
As if on cue, your eyes widened once again. Your mouth widened, as a long oh fell out. You turned back around to the door, looking out the reddened glass.
Parts of bodies were left along the hallway floor. Massacred bodies were pressed against the long lockers, and splotches of dark red painted the once white walls. The lights that had previously lit up the narrow corridor were now glitching and hanging from wires off the ceiling. It truly looked like a scene from a horror movie.
Your hand covered your once hung open mouth, tears threatening to leak passed the surface of your eyes. “Oh my God, I- is.. is this what we were hearing?” You turned away from the horrifying scene. Your classmates. Your teachers. People you’ve known since you were 5, they were gone.
Mingyu got up from behind the desk, walking over to your huddled figure. His arms wrapped around you, pulling you away from the door. “Hey, hey, you’re alright y/n-ah. It’s out there, your fine. We’ll get through this, yeah? Cmon, lets sit down, hm?”
Mingyu was the closest thing you’ve had to a brother, a sibling in general. You grew up together, he was literally the boy next door. The first time you met the goofy giant wasn’t the best first impression a person could have. One minute you were playing soccer with your cousin, next minute you had a baseball flying at your face. One bag of frozen peas and a black eye later, you became friends with the frantic brown eyed boy who came rushing over apologizing endlessly. Truly the rest was history, the frantic energy never left him and he was there whenever he was called.
Mingyu sat you down on the widow ledge by the desks, leaning you against the wall. Everyone either came over to comfort you, or filed over to the door to see what had you worked up. Gasps were heard from the group huddled around the door.
It must have been near lunch time now, yet no one had the strength to make a move out the door. The images from the other end of the door were still glued in everyone’s brains. You were now sat in the teachers desk, rummaging through the drawers to find anything to get in communication with someone. Of course, the one time your school decides to get rid of any tech use.
Quiet conversations could be heard throughout the small room, and things seemed to be awfully silent outside as well. Out of the corner of your eye, a movement outside the door caught your attention. You tilted your head over to the door, narrowing your eyes towards the figure. “Pst! Cheol! Come over here!” You waved your hands over to the dark haired boy.
Seungcheol got up from the desk across from you, slowly walking his was over to your shrinked down figure. You both crouched down behind the door, popping your heads up just enough to peer over the glass. The figure you noticed earlier was now getting closer to the door, it’s pace steadily increasing when it sensed yours and Cheol’s presence.
“Fucking Hell I think it sees us! We need to move back, go, GO!” Seungcheol ushered you away from the door, the two of you fast crawling across the dirty floor. Your bodies immediately hid behind the desk, once again only showing enough to see what was coming at a quicker pace towards the classroom.
The figure was now directly in front of the door, it’s disheveled face practically stuck to the blood smeared glass.
“Is- is that Mr. Jeong?!” The blonde haired girl, whom you didn’t even know the name of, walked over to the door.
“JINAH NO, Get back!” Oh. So that’s her name. Her friend, you had presumed, pulled her back from being in the sight of the horrifying figure outside. Too little too late.
Your now rotting teacher had already seen her. The corpse began pounding on the door, it’s body jamming into it repeatedly. Not risking what could happen if it kept that up, you began to push desks in front of the door that was slowly beginning to creak open.
Taking your lead, a group of boys began to mimic your actions, quickly placing things in front of the door. They began stacking the desks, building up a wall in front of the thing on the other side. The door began to break from the constant beating, it’s hinges coming off of its sides and the wooden frame cracking into pieces. Everyone jumped back, praying the stuff in front of it would keep the decayed teacher out. The door began to crumble down, bringing the corpse with it.
Soonyoung walked in front of the group, getting as close as possible to the hallway as he could. A small ew could be heard from the red haired guy, his shoulders visibly cringing back. Soonyoung turned back a round, a slight smile on his face.
“Good news, the zombie thing is dead! Bad news, we’re trapped in our school during a zombie apocalypse.”
“Thank you captain obvious, please, any more info we should know?” The boy to your right spoke up, a displeased look taking over his features.
“Actually, Minghao, yes. That was the first undead thing we’ve encountered the past few hours we’ve been here. And luck just happened to be on our side when the stupid thing killed itself on accident” Soonyoung walked over to your now dead teachers desk, spinning the chair around with his foot
“...Butttt not every zombie is going to do that, and I have an itching feeling that’s not the only dead thing with us here. So. We need a plan, my friends.” He finished his little speech with a grin, sitting himself on top of the wooden desk.
Everyone’s mind went blank as the realization set in. You were in a zombie apocalypse. Flesh eating zombies are now roaming everywhere, and you just happened to be in a school.
You sighed, running a hand through your h/c hair. “Alright. Let’s come up with a plan then, and one that doesn’t end up with us all becoming a zombies lunch.”
Others aren't so lucky
Others aren't so lucky, she says, referring to her peers' dips into coerced sex and assault. "Guys who are in charge of these business, they don't respect the girls, because of this job. A girl who does this doesn't deserve to have respect — that's just the mentality. But at the same time, Anna downplays the prevalence of studio abuse as "exceptions", or even complete fabrications — ploys for sympathy and the money that might trickle with it.Exactly! That's where I got my first taste of sex positivity. Going through my relationships and going to university I was like ‘woah, nobody thinks the way I do, I must be weird'. But being a webcam model, I realised everyone is into something different, they just feel like they can't talk about it.Model, producer and co-creator of YouTube channel ComeCurious, Reed is essentially the physical embodiment of sex positivity, which she defines as trying to make people feel like what theyre doing and what theyre into isnt wrong, its normal and its absolutely fine. Shes a huge advocate for removing stigma and taboos around sex, and we caught up with her to learn more about webcamming, a line of sex work that is seldom talked about. The first time I went private with a guy I freaked the fuck out. All he wrote was get naked. And so far all Id done in a chat room was flash my boobs for an influx of tokens. I froze up in stage fright and closed the room. In my group chat I wrote: Sorry, cam froze. And I logged off for the night.
Three young women have revealed what it is like working as a 'camgirl', taking their clothes off in front of a camera and performing sex acts for strangers online.It is true that when I am up on stage I feel powerful. In my 7-inch heels and latex leotards and frilly skirts, my body feels beautiful in a way that I dont see it in everyday life, and I feel confident and empowered. When the music comes on, I go with it, when I dance it is natural and its fun. The money is ultimately what I am here for, but this isnt just something I do just to pay the rent. This is my art, and whilst I am making myself sexually desirable, nobody can objectify me, as I hold that power. I am in control, because I objectify myself, if you like.Three young women have revealed what it is like working as a 'camgirl', taking their clothes off in front of a camera and performing sex acts for strangers online.Sometimes self-regulation regarding finances is the best option for some people: Ive been treated better and more fairly as a Cam Girl and nude model than I was in my last retail job where I, no word of a lie, got fired for looking sad. Yet despite how much control one can have over their career as a Cam Girl there are certainly discrepancies within the industry, including safety issues and issues of future employability, as well as what is considered a fair payment and no guarantee on a basic minimum wage for hours put in. It leaves a lot up to chance.
I made $20AUD in ‘tokens’ (how payments were recorded via the site) my first night. 20 bucks for six hours of sitting around in my underwear, netflirting with dudes. It wasn’t much, but it was more than I’d make scrolling through Tinder looking for someone I actually wanted to bone IRL. I knew the way to make real money was either by going private (opening a private show chatroom that costs the user a certain amount per minute) or by spending many months on the site building up a following, just like any other chaser of internet work/fame!Another cam girl named Tegan gets paid $5 per minute to be naked online and currently makes about $60,000 a year while studying full time. They work a lot less often than most Americans with minimum-wage, full-time jobs. When asked how many cam shows she'd have to do to make roughly minimum wage at 40 hours a week, she said, "assuming I work with a figure of $10 an hour @ 40hrs/week, this would work out at roughly 4 shows for me. Granted, minimum wage in America is $7.25 per hour, which is a far cry from $10, but that's still a hell of a lot better than a 40-hour work week. Inside, Studio 20 feels like the Paramount Pictures of camming. You walk in and theres hallways and hallways of rooms. One of them is decorated for a surfer girl, one of them is a girly teen-looking bedroom, one has teddy bears, one has a stripper pool, one is a fake bathroom with a tub. And theyre all just these fake sets where one side is a bedroom and the other side has a huge monitor, camera, computer, and professional lighting. CONTINUED BELOW...
OKAY OKAY, LONG THEORY POST, SO BARE WITH ME HERE
So first things first, in Taylor’s live stream yesterday she gave a big nod to the hallway scene, and said “huge shout out the window in the first hallway scene of me walking.” Now she said that this has to do with fans, so I think this could possibly be a two parter. One part is an actual nod to us (the fans), as when she sings “theres a lot of cool chicks out there”
Tumblr media
I think is a partial nod to a possible collab between Taylor and the Dixie Chicks, but I think its also a nod to us as fans, and another way she's saying thank-you to us over the years for “being cool chicks.” (I also know that chicks can be referred to as a term of endearment, like my mom always calls me “chickie”)
Here is also the Dixie Chicks and Taylor having a little moment on Twitter, and this could be another nod to the fans as we will always love Taylor.
Tumblr media
Now the second part of that, is also back in reference to how there are musicals involved in the music video for ME!
Mainly I think the only one to really focus on is the Wizard of Oz
If we go back to that hallway scene, we see that she is wearing red shoes, which we all know Dorothy was wearing in the movie, and was told to “click her heels three times to return home”
Tumblr media
I think another interesting thing to note here, is also how the floor is yello checkered tile. The sidewalks are also checkered, and in The Wizard of Oz they always say “follow the yellow brick road.”
Tumblr media
And why do we follow the yellow brick road???? TO GO HOME!!!!! I know that this has been a theory that home is going to be a single or an album, but I think that HOME is the title of the album for multiple reasons.
Tumblr media
First the mural Taylor posed in front of was in Nashville, and Nashville where one of Taylor’s homes is.
Tumblr media
Another reason why I think it could be called home is she is seen wearing cowboy boots later on in the video, which could just be for fun, or it could be a nod to how she got started in country music and is now returning HOME.
Tumblr media
Tay also told us to count the clouds and the brief cases, there are 13 clouds and 7 brief cases, leading us to the date July. 13. Some other users have pointed out that if you go back to July 13, 2018, you get this picture:
Tumblr media
Which is Tay in her first childhood home. (And there is also a stamp on the calendar for July. 13, which we all know could mean something, or we’re all playing boo boo the fool again)
I think this could be a possible album release date, as it is a few months away.
There is also another nod to HOME in the beginning of the video with the snake (You have to look hard to see it) but it looks like the scales spell out HOME, which is more evidence to the album being called home.
Tumblr media
Some fans have also pointed out that they think this song is in Taylor’s heart, due to all the hearts in the video, and all how it looks like she's in crystal the entire time. Which there is always the saying “Home is where the heart is”
Tumblr media
Now onto the singles, I think there are two possible options: Lover or Intimate
I think lover is a bit more likely, but these are the two pieces of evidence. The reason why I think its lover is due to the big sign that it posted, it seems like an obvious easter egg, but a fun one.
Tumblr media
One eagle eyed fan pointed out Intimate though, by rearranging the letters of I IN TEAM, you get Intimate. I think this would be a really cute song, so I’m down for either (OR BOTH!)
Tumblr media
Either way, no matter what Tay does this is me
To investigate, I visited the biggest camming
Inside the building, Studio 20 occupies the first and second floors. Forty rooms open off pristine, white corridors, their walls adorned with pictures of women in states of glamorous undress. A closed door means business. Inside that room a woman is live and direct via webcam with international clients - and as long as she is alone in the room, it is entirely legal. In this world of virtual relationships and cybersex, those in front of the camera are "models" and the men who watch are "members". Some sessions earn her $10 – others $2000 depending on how much the men on the other side of the screen are willing to give her in tips. How did you get into webcamming? plus they have the best cyber sex online. Inside, Studio 20 feels like the Paramount Pictures of camming. You walk in and theres hallways and hallways of rooms. One of them is decorated for a surfer girl, one of them is a girly teen-looking bedroom, one has teddy bears, one has a stripper pool, one is a fake bathroom with a tub. And theyre all just these fake sets where one side is a bedroom and the other side has a huge monitor, camera, computer, and professional lighting.Basically you get to be your sex-positive self to your full potential.
  I choose who I perform for, when I will perform and for how long it will last. I choose how I perform. When I dance, I feel like I have found liberation in the free expression of my sexuality, in a world that usually tells me to be ashamed of my body. And it is true, I do feel a curious kind of control over those who watch me, a feeling that is so far removed from the usual feeling of my body being controlled by men in my everyday life. I have felt more objectified being a waitress where I politely and quietly serve the needs of men than I do as a stripper.Being a cam girl, specifically, can be a great option for sex workers because it’s a lot safer than when you are with a client in person. Cam girls still have to protect themselves, of course; making sure people can’t find out their addresses or real names. Those are things that workers in all facets of the sex industry have to worry about, whether you’re a stripper or an escort. But cam girls have the privilege of working from their homes or a studio, where they don't have that threat of violence or diseases. Or they just don’t have to deal with a client having bad breath.Some sessions earn her $10 – others $2000 depending on how much the men on the other side of the screen are willing to give her in tips. anyways, you will find the free chat with naked girls. I am angry and I am allowed to be, because I am tired of being put in a box. But what is most important is that I do not have regrets because I know what I am.But despite fulfilling all my internet male expectations, Anna's impossible to really pin down. On both IM and video chat, she's prone to mannerisms and quips that make you want to pay for her time. A lot of it. She's beautiful without surfeit, an honest form that's pleasing even over a low-resolution video stream. Her English is fantastic, her personality disarming. She'll sit casually, like a girl the morning after a sleepover, musing about her cats and future. When she first "performed" for me on camera, discarding her herd of cats and cigarette for a bottle of baby oil, a few alarmed neurons felt like I should rush to Bucharest and wrap a blanket around her. Her innocence is a cool switch. The tokens evaporated.
  A lot of their clients are really freaking mean for no reason. The downside to raking in that sweet cash is that a lot of people can be really mean for no reason. She says a lot of guys can't even sit there and watch her without saying mean things to her, and many of them don't tip either. Granted, that happens in minimum-wage jobs too, but I'm guessing what guys say to her is probably way worse than what people say to fast-food employees. So who are these tireless women (or girls), these internet sex pioneers? Where do they live? Where did they come from? How did they wind up these poorly furnished, fluorescent-lit rooms in this oversaturated, low-res corner of the web? We wondered the same thing. So I talked to them.Her conditions at the next studio were bare at best, and at times the most personal privacy she had, while performing for strangers on live camera, were a few hanging sheets separating her from the others walking in and out of some rundown flat. Although she was the frequent victim of what would certainly qualify as flagrant, physical sexual harassment in any other business, Anna stuck through it, priding herself on her ability to talk a path out of a "bad situation" with male employers. plus they have the best cyber sex online. This comes off as somewhere between cynicism and naive denial, but the fact that she knows of any girls at all who've raped and beaten suggests that it is, at the very least, a real occupational hazard.I am angry and I am allowed to be, because I am tired of being put in a box. But what is most important is that I do not have regrets because I know what I am. CONTINUED BELOW...
