It would've been incredibly distasteful to not put this beauty on top of my list. I have been a fan of this one since 5th grade, the literal backbone of my insanity.

I may complain monthly over the agnoizingly short chapters, but the narrative and storytelling in this manga is one of my favorites ever.

3. Berserk

Let me make one thing clear!!! I am NOT a berserk reddit fanboy who completely ignores and neglects the narrative of this story in order to fill whatever inner void that needs to be filled.

I am suuuper passionate about the Golden Age Arc and the Pre Eclipse era of Berserk, it would be impossible to shut me up about it.

I could go on billion rants about Griffith's character and his actual complexities throughout the narrative. (no, he isn't emotionless, that would destory the whole point of the story lol)

Also I want to give a not-so-subtle shoutout to @bthump for validating every single thought I had while reading Berserk and always providing textual evidence. Thank you for being the light in the darkness of this fandom!

4. Death Note

sighs yes I am still in the fandom of an anime that has only one season and ended so poetically that it makes perfect sense that it doesn't have a continuation yet my brain screams for content when obviously it will never happen.

Before anyone asks, I am not team Light or team L, both of them are selfish people and used others lives in order to beat one another.

I am a constant defender of the fact that the Death Note consumed Light. Not only is it textually stated; but it's visually stated

Anyways, this story is absolutely awesome and I think most people can agree with that.

I don't rewatch this anime often, but when I do I get shooked by the big brain plans and big brain confrontations lmao.

the thing about my experience with the sonic level select cheat scene from ep s1e4 is that, when i first read it on the synopsis, i couldnt help but think it sounded like a mood breaker, something that shouldnt be there, but when i finally got to it. arghhh. it really is so fucking worth mentioning.

well!! to be completely honest i think theres no way to NOT make nightingale kind of a mary sue here because, come on now, theyre a combination of two of the most powerful god kids in the entirety of toh. its important to remember also that, due to the fact of collectors human-looking body being only a vessel with no inherent powers of its own, when collector in his true form jumps into king, kings body is acting as a vessel for his power as well, and so most of the things nightingale can do with using the collectors powers- like summoning spies, flying around, keeping up a cleansing field- is just collector lending king that power

however when their powers DO actually combine is when it gets really scary, because kings titan powers are already pretty strong with his sonic shouts and later shield projection, so with collector helping, those just get powered to the maximum. their sonic shouts become as powerful as those of an adult titan, coupled with star projectiles that can act as honing missiles or just sort of follow a path around before exploding and bursting, and their shield can burst into blasting whatever is around it away. in general, collectors aid acts as a power up to kings existing powers, and will usually add some flair to it as well

and yes, since collector is channeling their power through kings body and therefore manifesting nightingale, nightingale could move the moon. the stars too, probably. typically they dont however because king is in control and collys kind of a co pilot who can influence things only with king letting him do so.

15. What sort of muses do you tend to write?

i actually have a pretty wide spread of muses!! there's like. 5 subgenres going on in my head. the less used one is like.. teenage hero protag! like sonic and sora. the type that hold way too much of the world on their shoulders, and carry that weight by themselves to try and keep their friends and others safe. you know the type. the type who have secret deep misery. the second type is like. very morally grey. or just very complex. okay i asked someone else in call thank you for the input ellie BUT. a lot of muses i write go through like... really harrowing really traumatizing experiences that leave them VERY different from who they were previously. and a lot of them get thrust into VERY different situations after said event. like to name a few theres obviously bill, but in other places i write anakin skywalker, starscream, gaster undertale my best friend. and i really enjoy seeing how characters operate under situations that make them change and bend so drastically and how they cope with that.

yapping there's gotta be a lotta yapping. i love yapping i love telling people all about my muse and i love people telling me about their muses and throwing them at each other and see what happens. just a willingness to throw muses together and share opinions ... the brainrot prevails.
