Smiler and Alice went first, making a pale orange smiling pumpkin and a white cat pumpkin respectively, while I kept Victor busy looking at the handful of pumpkins Petey had included in the display. He then took over Smiler’s station once Smiler was done (they carved a Masterpiece of a pumpkin! Victor’s and Alice’s were just Excellent, which, still great), while Smiler chatted with Alice and checked out a pumpkin themselves. Once everyone was done, I made sure all the pumpkins were lined up on one side of the display, properly preserved (so they won’t ever rot), and lit up –

Then had Alice take a picture of them all together! :D Which proved to be a BIT tricky, as my initial attempts to get her lined up had her looking at the pumpkins from a very awkward angle, and then when I got her straight on, Victor’s elbow was in the corner of the shot. XD I just zoomed in as much I could while keeping all three pumpkins in-frame and took my wanted snaps, playing around with filters and sizes a bit as I do. (What can I say – I like variety. And the medium picture size.) And once THAT was all settled…

-->It was time to turn off autonomy for a little bit and set up the tripod for some group pictures! :D Which, again, proved to be a little trickier than anticipated – I initially set up the tripod in front of the display I’d made with the mini-cowplant and the falcon, but when I sent the trio over there, the interaction first just canceled out, then the camera just kept beeping for ages while the three lined up around the SIDE of the tripod. And then I accidentally canceled out the interaction AGAIN by accidentally moving the camera trying to get Alice to try the picture again. I decided that they probably didn’t have enough room with the camera facing the side wall display and turned it around so the backdrop would be the specters-in-jars display and the stairs up to the bathroom, prompting Alice to try one more time. Again, the camera timer beeped for AGES, making me worry that something was wrong –

But I did eventually get to take my pictures! Whew! I promptly had fun putting everyone into various poses (silly, romantic, and just plain random) and taking a variety of small and medium-sized pictures. :D Gotta commemorate the moment, after all! And I will never stop loving that the tripod allows me to take group pictures of the three. :D It’s great, it really is.

Even if that kind of energy might not drive a plot, it could be interesting to have as a contrast to the people who do have big feelings about them - good or bad.

There's the friends who can't wait til they have a pack of their own, and the one friend who isn't against it but couldn't care less. There's the group in the office who are all about scent compatibility tests and figuring out one's best match and what sprays most highlight it, and the coworker who has no intentions on putting that much effort in. There are parents who hover and protect their offspring by scenting them multiple times a day, and others who don't see what the fuss is as long as it's done in the morning.

...also: packs with introverts who show care by giving each other space. So often, closeness is depicted through physical touch and tactile affection, but comfortable silence is meaningful too. Knowing people are near, but not having to interact until you're ready. Sitting in the same room doing different things, knowing that all it takes is a "hey, look at this" to share what you're up to. People understanding and accepting each other's differing or fluctuating needs for how and when to recharge. Seeing somebody reaching out or sharing space, beyond what's their norm, as a signal of the fact that they care.

i havent spent too much time with infinity nikki bc i move at a snails pace and only play a little bit at a time so i cant say much on its lore

Siffrin and Loop absolutely play fight each other almost to the death but here's a fun idea. Siffrin goes out on their usual night excursion to beat up whatever poor misfortunate Sadnesses they can find on the trail when Loop tags along.

Loop is chiding Siffrin to go back to sleep and Siffrin isn't having it. And to be petty Loop steals a Sadness kill from him. And now it's on, both of them having a competition to see who can kill more Sadnesses. At some point Loop accidentally friendly fires at Siffrin and it devolves into beating each other up.

Bonnie wakes up at the crack of dawn and finds the two weakly healing each other while arguing who won. Bonnie is not having it and snitches to Petronille so she can chew them out for doing whatever it is they're doing.

He was very chill with Alastor interrupting him and Vox last time, but do you think he might get jealous of Alastor in the future, as Vox's obsession for him is only deepening now that they're spending more and more time together? He seems possessive and volatile enough for this... (mostly with Angel Dust who he sees as his property, but Vox also expects to be the "ungrateful whore" Val is angry at in ep2)

Hello! I've gotten some fic comments that are a similar question to this over the last couple of 666 fics, so I appreciate the opportunity to answer it on my blog, haha.

I'm going to be totally honest, as much as the radiostatic side of 666 is part of my aroace agenda, the staticmoth side of it is just as much my poly agenda and I don't (currently) have any intention of writing a jealousy plot of any sort from Valentino's side of things! This is for a few reasons:

I'm just not a huge fan of jealousy plots as a whole, and despite being Like That, this fic series is kind of a comfort series for me.

This isn't very clear from the lack of timestamps and whatnot (though this makes me inclined to be clearer about it in future fics), but radiostatic aren't actually spending very large swathes of time together. Alastor's "dealing with Vox" meter is too resource-poor for that, lmfao.

I think Valentino is a possessive fuck but the way that I write him, he wouldn't register what radiostatic are getting up to as worth getting legitimately jealous over, especially because:

Part of Vox's character progression in this series is actually transitioning from obsession to genuine affection, not increased obsession!

The natures of their respective relationships are really different. (As is the nature of Valentino's relationship with Angel Dust.)

Val and Vox already have their own relationship bullshit going on in the background at any given point in time. Someone should financially compensate Velvette for that. Oh, wait, that's probably what Love Potion is for.
