Everyone knows by now Ramshackle is actually Mickey's house from Epic Mickey,

However, I played the remake demo and learned that

1) Mickey has created Blot

2) The paintbrush weapon has the ability to thin blot but also make blots friendly and fight on your side

3) The paintbrush can create and erase the environment around it

4) Mickey appears to have absorbed or is made of blot to an extent.

Yuu now has the paintbrush. The potential here. Imagine Yuu was actually made of blot their whole life and never knew. The angst. The horror. Maybe they were feeding on the overblots or caused them. Maybe they can be used as some magestone. Maybe we can cure blot or heal it. This could mean a lot for Idia's curse.

"Vet Bills Drained My Account" Commissions

Hey all,

After getting hit with an astronomically high (for me) vet bill this month that drained my reserves, as well as being saddled with increased med costs for my ESA, I'm fairly strapped for cash and could use any help I can get.

I know money is tight for the vast majority of people, and there are thousands of people right now in more dire need than myself, but I'm putting myself out here anyways because my current options are to get more cash, neglect my pets' healthcare needs, or give them up.

With this preface as background, I'd like to boost my commissions again with some adjusted prices. Please note that due to overworking my wrist I'll be a little slower, but I do my best to give a fair time estimate and progress updates when working on a commission, as anyone who has commissioned me in the past can affirm. meowdy there, there’s this one text post that i KNOW is on my blog somewhere but the tumblr search function has a personal vendetta against me specifically - near verbatim, it went something like “hey girl is that a 9/11 in your pants or is ur penis just two of them and exploding”. i think about it every day and i need her back

this one was such a fascinatin' phrase i couldn't help but look into it. now, i had never heard of this post, but what else is new? i took to google and started lookin' for this post by searchin' for the exact phrase. i didn't find a tumblr post, but i did find a reddit comment referencin' this post. thankfully, someone in the replies to that comment posted a screenshot of the original post, which i used to track it down. tumblr was bein' rather uncooperative, so i had to reverse engineer it through some reblogs, but i got it!

i called the ssa office to ask something and in the pre-recorded message they say, like it’s not fucking Insane, “if you’re calling with regards to a disability claim, due to a staffing shortage, current processing times for disability claims are between 250 and 300 days, after which it will take three to four weeks for you to receive your decision by mail” as though that’s just something that happens whoopsie sorry about that like die actually. how do these people sleep at night

#*#the welfare system has so many fucking hoops people have to jump through #for No reason #if you actually believe the majority of people on welfare don’t ~need to be #frankly if someone’s willing to go through all this bullshit to get a $200 unemployment check a week #they deserve it. like they make this shit stupid hard #when i informed the medicaid dept i had been put on leave from work #they requested - no exaggeration - Eight separate pieces of documentation #four of them needed to be signed and dated by people who weren’t me #one i didn’t have access to bc it was sent to my work email #which my workplace restricted my access to #and if i succeeded i would have gotten at most 60% of my average weekly paycheck #all of that bullshit. to - Maybe - get a minuscule amount of money #like. this system Exclusively oppresses people who are Already struggling #when you’re going through smth as hard as potentially losing a job #and then in order to have any sense of security at All #you have to do several difficult stressful tasks #in order to make sure you can Survive #life for ppl on welfare is already garbage i hate that these vultures make it even Harder

anyway she's on her way back now and it's sunny again. I did get to have the easier but more important of the two conversations beforehand tho, so I have a better idea of what the plan is with the money for the time being.

#she said she'll put $500 in the joint account each month #but I pointed out that if my personal allowance is still $300 that only leaves $200 for meds and groceries and helping out around the house #so she immediately raised to $700 #(even after I offered to instead re-lower my allowance)#and matt says I only cost an extra like $60 a week for food and meds #(not counting my most expensive med which I usually pay for directly from joint anyway)#(which is $60-$90/mo by itself)#plus $30 a month for utilities which they both think is highballing it #and he's like 'oh I might've moved into a 2br by myself anyway cuz it is really nice to have the space'#'so it's not like half the rent difference is due straight to you'#and she also says it'll probably go up once she's not saving up for a down payment on a car #I'm not sure if I'm still supposed to be keeping a running total of hypothetical rent payments we haven't made.#(not at his request but at her agreement - we do want to pay him back someday when everything is more settled)#(because he has been very generous with us)
