this was a request so thank you anon for providing the idea, i changed some of the detailing ever slightly to fit it more into the social media format but overall i followed the request so i hope i did it justice! 

as a bit of a background: you and charles have been together for a few years now, but nobody knows because they’ve kept their relationship secret from the f1 community and private from anyone who follows you. everything is going great until photos of you and charles on vacation get leaked. normally you’d deny it or ignore it but it was very obviously charles in the pictures which cause fans to go crazy, wanting to know everything ultimately resulting in you and charles deciding to go public and hoping for the best. oh and the request included having other drivers on the grid having gone through recent breakups which was another reason charles liked that your relationship was private. 

warnings: none, just pure fluff and charles being a simp for his girlfriend !!

“Merci mon amour” You smiled as he situated himself next to you in bed. Having been dating now for almost 3 years, you had picked up on french terms and were able to have small conversations only speaking French with Charles 

“I posted you on instagram” you told him as he wrapped an arm around your shoulders pulling you closer into him but being careful not to spill the drink in your hands 

“Oh what did you post? My phones charging” he explained as you unlocked your phone and showed him the post you made for him “You’re now being referred to as mystery man” you chuckled. 

Out of all the names people had given him throughout the years, this was definitely your favourite. Charles also chuckled when he heard the name that was given to him 

“Can I ask you something?” Charles asked after a few seconds of comfortable silence passed between the two of you 

“Of course, what’s up?” you asked after taking a small sip of your tea “Do you ever think about going public with our relationship?” He followed up 

You turned to face him fully “Of course, mon amour but we both agreed it was better this way” You reiterated the promise you made early on in your relationship 

“I know but I hate that I cant comment on your posts or even post you myself” he sighed “I want to keep you safe but I also want the whole world to know you’re mine and I’m yours” he finished. 

“I know it’s not fair” you exclaimed while running your fingers through his hair, something you did for him when he was stressed or feeling anxious “I love you all the time though regardless if you post me or not you know that. Right?” You asked him 

“Of course I do” he told you in response closing his eyes feeling relaxed “One day we’ll go public. Im making you that promise” he told you opening his eyes again 

You smiled at him “Sounds like a beautiful promise” you responded, leaning in to kiss his cheek “As much as I would love to spend the rest of the night talking with you, you have to be at the airport early tomorrow” you reminded him as you stopped playing with his hair, to turn and put your mug on the bedside table next to your side of the bed, Charles putting his own mug on the table next to his side 

“Im gonna miss you” he told you when you were both situated in bed, the only source of light coming from the evening sky outside “Not as much as I’m gonna miss you” you told him, snuggling into his side while his arm pulled you closer to him. 

Even if you had been dating for awhile, the start of the race season was always a struggle, neither of you wanting to be apart for long periods of time but it was moments like these that you held close and savoured until the next time you could be this close again.

Charles was standing with the other drivers, whenever the new season started they always had to do a bunch of media and although some drivers may hate how childish some of the antics were, overall it’s always a nice time getting to be in the same place as everyone and not be competing for once. 

Charles turned to George and Pierre who were in conversation with Carlos and Lando. Somehow they had gotten on the topics of relationships, Lando having told everyone that the girl he was seeing at the end of the previous season before the break, wasn’t in the picture anymore. 

“Aw mate I’m sorry” Charles told him “Its okay, we weren’t anything serious” Lando told him, seeming to be completely fine with the outcome. “Carlos how are you and your lady?” Lando asked Carlos taking the attention off of him 

“Ehh, its alright” Charles’ teammate answered the question directed at him “We barely talk and now with racing starting, I don’t see her sticking around much longer” he explained his current situation. 

To Charles it seemed as though everyone who had been relationships or atleast talking to someone, now had no one which made him a feel a bit guilty as he had been in a 2 year long relationship that none of them knew of. 

Later in the day, the guilt in Charles stomach only grew when he somehow found out 3 more drivers on the grids long term relationships had ended. He was feeling unnerved because it seemed as if there was some sort of relationship ruiner going through the paddock and he didn’t want to be the next victim. 

That night, he called you up, for a moment forgetting about the time change but remembering its only a small change. You answered after a few rings, you had your painting scrubs on indicating you had been working on a new piece of art 

“Hi mon amour” you exclaimed happy to see your boyfriend “I was just in the middle of painting, let me just take my scrubs off so I can move to the couch” You explained, Charles nodded his head acknowledging you

“Okay tell me how everything went today, I want to hear it all” you started talking again once you were situated on your couch. Charles started telling you about his day making sure to include what he learned about his fellow racers, which only caused you both to feel content keeping your relationship to yourselves.

Charles was resting in his drivers room. He was trying to mediate which meant he had his phone silenced. This was something you started doing with him when he would get in his head about racing and it helped him regain his focus especially during the moments when he was to hard on himself.

He had been in here for probably 30 minutes before there was a rapid knock on the door “Charles, its Carlos can I come in?” his teammate asked from the other side 

“Yeah” Charles answered. Carlos opened the door and stepped into the room “Have you been on instagram?” Carlos asked holding his phone in his hand 

“No why?” Charles was confused, what was so important on there that had Carlos wondering of his activity on the app “You should see this” Carlos told him while passing him his opened phone. 

When Charles looked down and saw what he saw, he felt his heart stop. There you and him were on his boat, last summer. He couldn’t believe what he was seeing. He scrolled through his tagged and it was flooded with the same pictures posted by various accounts 

“This isn’t good” he mumbled to himself as he passed Carlos his phone back so he could pick up his own phone. He went to go text you immediately when he remembered you had told him, you and your best friend were going camping for a few days which meant you wouldn’t have reception until you got back home. 

He opted to still text you something rather than nothing, that way you would see his message once you turned your phone back on and would give him a call. 

“Can I ask who she is?” Carlos asked after a few moments of silence “Shes my girlfriend. We’ve been together now for almost 3 years” Charles answered his friends question, figuring the secret was out now and there was no point in lying. 

“Oh wow, you’ve kept this going for that long and its just now coming to light. Thats impressive” Carlos told him 

“Yeah we decided early on to keep it between us” Charles sighed “We were planning on going public eventually but I guess the public beat us to it” 

Carlos just gave his teammate a sympathetic nod, there wasn’t anything he could say in the moment but he could still be there for his friend. 

A few days after this, when you were on the drive back to your place, you turned your phone back on, having a few texts from Charles. One that stood out, read ‘Babe give me a call when you can. I have to talk to you about something’ the text from Charles read. 

You weren’t sure what this could be about so you didn’t wait to dial his number once you were in the comfort of your apartment. After a few rings, Charles answered, asking you how camping was and catching up before moving on to talk about what happened while you were offline. 

That night you and Charles had a long conversation on what you both wanted to do in this situation and after some back and forth, finally came to a decision regarding your relationship that you both hoped you wouldn’t regret down the line.

well hi :3 welcome to deja’s skinblending guide. this is my first full written tutorial so excuse me if its not very good LAWL before we get started, here's the tools i'll be using

sims4studio

tray importer

photoshop 2022 (theres cracked version everywhere on tumblr)

blender 4.1

sims 4 ripper

blender + the ripper aren't required to make skins, plenty of people don't go that extra step, but i love using it for placement help

okay lets fuckin go gamers heres my very in depth process for making my ocs skins

miss dolly is gonna be our model today. she already has a skin but im gonna add some little details for the sake of example + some tats cause ive been meaning to anyway.

so when i first get started on making someone a skin, ill find a good base to use and then add details from other categories like nosemasks, eyebags, contours, etc.

my fav skin creators are @sims3melancholic and @thisisthem. my bases are usually thisisthem, and then i'll pick through a couple s3m skins and make notes on my phone about what parts i wanna take off of them (like, say, i like how a certain s3m skin's nose looks. i'll use that instead of a nosemask)

my goal when im gathering things i wanna add is to free up as many slots as i can. id rather add cheshire's freckles onto her skin than use up the freckle slot in skin details that i could use for something else, yknow?

ill repeat this process for makeup next. obviously im not giving my ocs permanent full glam, but some lipsticks can add better texture, you can get highlights/blush from........the blush section LOL and i love using this obscurus eyeliner at a low-ish opacity

just adds an extra level of detail i love. i think what keeps my sims looking consistent next to each other is that i tend to use some of the same details all across the board

make sure for all makeup/skin detail/tattoo category swatches you use, you make note of what swatch it exactly is. when you go into s4s to export the file, you're gonna have to manually select it and if u cant remember what skintone u chose out it can be annoying :/

note that she is completely nakey aside from her piercings while i pick what im gonna use for her skin! no clothing but u can keep on their hair. this is so we have a clear view of everything (and i mean EVERYTHING) for blender.

after you make sure u save the sim/household to ur gallery, you can close out of cas and save ur game! i forgot to do this bc im a fucking idiot but its okay bc you will not. its not REALLY necessary to do this as long as you know exactly what packages you need to locate for texture exporting

step one is done!!!! close out ur game

i have a million fucking characters so i made a deja senti skinblending folder to keep it all organized :-)

this is what it looks like inside. gives u a pretty good overview of what ur gonna be doing tbh. the 't' folder is all the textures we're about to export

thankfully i do have a version of dahlia saved in my gallery so even tho i didnt go it before i closed my game i can still show u what to do in tray importer lol. i have multiple sims in one household, so i narrowed it down by going up top and selecting dahlia / human / and her everyday outfit.

since im gonna give her this blush, i right click and hit open w package viewer so itll find it and open s4s for me

anime wow sound. im gonna change the color manually in photoshop so it doesnt matter to me what swatch i export. hit that green export button under the list of diffuse/shadow/etc (u dont need to worry about all those options, just diffuse) and save it to ur folder!

once ur done gathering ur textures ur good to close out of tray importer and s4s(we'll come back to s4s later tho)

thats step two! the quickest step lawl

this is where i start being a little extra. u dont have to rip ur sim and use blender if u dont want to, but i think it can rly help bc the default sim in s4s doesn't have ur sims facial features and can make ur skins look wonky/wont give an accurate representation of how itll look in game. this cuts out having to go in game/out of game over and over to check

so in simripper once u load up ur sim, the important part is to make sure u have it set to export the dae with separate meshes. once thats done u can import it into blender and there's plenty of other tutorials out there how to use simripper n all that.

so once u get the dae loaded into blender im gonna send u on a little side quest over to this ask i answered where i explain how i separate eyes from the head mesh. next thing ur gonna open is photoshop! or whatever u have thats similar

say hi to flat dahlia. u should have ur own guy but flat open now too :-) along with everything else ur gonna combine. in my case its blush and a titty mask. im gonna start w the blush so i zoomed into her face in blender. i went into the blush file and copied, then back into my base skin file and pasted into place with crtl+shift+v

please do not be like me. make sure u rename ur layers as you copy and paste them into the main skin file. do this because it DOES matter what order ur layers are in. u dont want to put ur highlight under ur nose mask cause the nose mask will just cover the highlight etc etc. i already lost what layer the new blush i added is. what is wrong w me

so when u have ur first detail pasted on and in place, ur gonna save the base skin file as a psd. then go into blender, and in the little textures window ur gonna replace the diffuse file ur dae came loaded with with ur new psd file

u should see the change u made but mine was super subtle so im gonna show it to u when i put on the cleavage overlay

when it comes to stuff like this, ur obviously gonna want to pick the closest to ur skintone swatch as u can. i did not do this, because again, im an idiot

mine is way too pale LAWL whoops. we can fix this tho

i add a hue/saturation adjustment and make it a clipping mask using that square w the arrow so the adjustment will ONLY affect the mask

from there i just make little adjustments until the color match up is as perfect as i can make it. for example for this, ik that it needs to be a little warmer and a little more saturated, so im gonna bump the hue and saturation sliders to the right and it was pretty much perfect

tiddies with no mask > with mask no adjustments > with mask and adjustments

and ur gonna go ahead and repeat that process with every single thing u wanna add to ur skin.

so as for tattoos! this is another thing ur gonna wanna rename the layers for because depending on how heavily ur sims can be tatted it can get A LOT

here's psyche's neat little tattoo folder. its separated into where the tattoo is and then

what it is

i find all my tattoo inspo on pinterest using flash sheets/keywords in the search. my ocs usually have sub-boards that i hoard inspo in for them specifically. dahlia doesnt have one bc ive never seen her as the most tattooed person, but i think she'd have some at least

this process is pretty much the same as putting on skin details! its all about adjusting to what u like. for example, i like when my sims tattoos are a little faded and a bit blurred at the edges cause it looks a little more real

when it comes to images i find on pinterest, ill save the image and first try to make it as clean as i can

for example, this lil guy

a curve mask made the whites brighter and the blacks darker as u can see. then ill go into filter > reduce noise to soften the harsh edges

then i flatten it, copy and paste to the skin file, n place it wherever i want it to go :-)

louder anime wow!!!

okay so now ur gonna want to make sure u .psd file is saved (it should be bc we've been checking our progress w blender) and then merge the visible layers (NOT flatten, merge visible. we need the transparency around the skin to be in tact)

ur done in photoshop and blender!!! good job :-)

step whatever number we're on. back into s4s!

ur focus is over here. make sure the option filled is the top one, and then hit the cas button

this menu will open, ur gonna go up to part type and find the option skin details, forehead. pick the first forehead wrinkle option that appears and hit 'next.' itll prompt you to save ur new file n give it a name, i usually just make it my sim's name cause i have a folder in my mods folder for specifically my cc

remember wayyyy back when we were exporting the skin details? ur gonna go back to that same section and hit 'import' instead of export. select ur skin's .png file, and poof !

ur skin :DD it looks great man good job

this part is EXTREMELY important. go up to the warehouse tab

in the 'data' section ur gonna see a box at the top labeled 'filter.' thats where i typed in 'compos' just so it would show me JUST the compositionmethod section since theres a lot of shit in there lawl. yours is initially gonna say '3,' but we're gonna change it to '0' mind you, this is because MY skins are all alpha. maxis match overlays do not show up on my skins because my comp method is set to 0, meaning it has top priority essentially.

after you do that, you can hit save and place that .package file you created into your mods folder!!! and GUESS WHAT BESTIE UR DONE!!!!! U DID IT :DDDD

48. Who is your favorite character to write for?  Has this changed since you’ve started writing for that fandom?

forever donnie (he stuck out to me the SECOND i watched the show and has not left my brain)... but i actually find raph second easiest to write pov for, i wanna get into the meat of him at some point because he's really interesting and surprisingly unexplored compared to the other three!!! even though he ends up showing no matter what i do ive been a little hesitant to do anything super duper leo-centric out of spite and mikey is FOREVER THE HARDEST TO WRITE OUT OF THE FOUR OF THEM AUGGHHHH SHAKES HIM!!!! love him though

68. Are there any fics that influenced you to write the way you do?

shout out to firefight for getting me to write again <3 unmaking by corvidown is also a personal favorite of mine, i HIGHLY recommend it

79. Do you have any writing advice you want to share?

im mostly intuition when it comes to writing and not very technical about it (which is my folly, i need to get better at going back and mastering the basics) but what i CAN say is that, from experience, if your pacing seems way too fast there is a very good chance that's just you. if youre like me youll probably skim instinctively because you already know whats on the page (which is why its recommended to read out loud when editing because its easy to skip over mistakes), but for most readers its going to feel a lot longer than it is!!

like genuinely with both caged lungs and coming undone im still like "wow i need to pad this out with more scenes" but so many people sing my praises about pacing, and thinking that things are well-rounded and detailed, and im like... Huh. i genuinely considered adding like 6 more scenes to coming undone and had to literally stop myself because i was going to Die if i did that (i actually think the uhhh. third to last scene? the last mikey one. is way too fast still, id go back and rewrite it if i could)

oh also i recommend character bibles! character bibles are always good, i like writing sample dialogue and keeping track of little vocal quirks/body language things (it also helps me pick out and avoid things that get really deeply rooted in fanon when theyre kind of frustratingly off the mark, although i do have a couple of headcanons that remain consistent across fics like the painkiller thing Because i use it for EVIL!!!!!!). and when i feel like im slipping ill go back and rewatch some episodes to make sure i can HEAR it in their voices

Bill, georg and gustav were all away doing there on thing on the bus, being alone and bored you decide to finish off one of the drawings of tom you had started on a couple days ago.

You put on your headphones playing a playlist you liked to listen to when you were drawing, unbeknown to you the person who you were drawing had walked behind you and was now watching as you bopped your head and drew.

You being to feel a bit uneasy so you decide to look behind you and see a tall man looming over you, at first you get shit scared and jump away a bit but after realising that it was tom you sigh a bit in relief before looking down in your lap and seeing the drawing of him on display.

You take out your head phone while quickly snapping your book closed, hoping he didnt see to much, but the sly smirk on his face tells you other wise.

"Wow ___ your goood" he says cockly moving to sit next to you. You roll your eyes and try to change topic.

"Wheres the others?" you question "Bills out getting food- obviously, georgs outside talking to his girlfiend and i think gus is sleeping" he says rubbing his chin trying to think "oh yeah" you say before putting one of your headphones in leaving one open to listen if tom was gonna say something else.

"What you listening to?" he questions holding his hand out for one of your headphones to listen with you "Oh just ___ ____" placing the other headphone in his palm. "nice" he mutters putting in the other headphone jamming out with you.

After a while you gathered enough courage to show him the drawings of him in your book the finished ones and the one you were previously working on.

"Hey um tom did you want to see the drawing i did of you" you say a blush tinted on your face immanently regretting what you had just done.

"Yeah sure, was hoping you would say something" he chuckles taking the headphone out giving it back to you moving his body to face you. You reach next to you flipping to the pages of the tom ones.

"Yeah this is the one im working on, its still in its ugly phase" you giggle trying to make the air feel less heavy.

"wow ___ you did this, its amazing and not just cause its me like look at this apple i could like eat it! " tom mutters out fascinated by the level of detail you put into the drawing you did of him and the other random objects he sees scattered throughout the sketch book.

"Yeah um i- oh god im doing this- i kinda draw you cause i- like you" She says quickly puts her face into her hands, feeling her heart pump loudly, her thoughts running wild.

"I like you to ___" Tom say calmly amused that the girl was blushing so hard. Hearing that ___ snaps her head towards tom "really, you like me" she sighs out "yeah, i like you, ___ more than friends" he says feeling his heart beat fast aswell.

They both lean in cautiously before pressing their lips togther softly before pressing in deeper. ___ heart beating faster than ever letting her eyelashes flutter closed, trying to enjoy this moment.

"Hey yeah babe ill call you back soon mmk yeah love yo-" Georg says stopping mid sentence when seeing Tom and ___ kissing on the couch.

The pair look back quickly to see a shocked Georg standing in the entrance of the bus "I owe bill so much money" he mutters before walking back outside.

The two break out in a fit of laughter and the situation they got themselves into.

Guys, I've been so excited to talk about Paleshade. With the limited format of a clangen blog, it is hard to discuss all the details of Paleshade's life and the effect she had on the story. But now I get to share her life story with you!

Paleshade: 46 (at death), female, codekeeper, daring, great speaker.

Paleshade was born into a litter of three in AshClan to two elders. The birth was risky due to her mother's age and severely strained her mother's body. This would weaken her until she passed partway through Paleshade's apprenticeship. Paleshade was about two moons younger than Weedfoot, so the pair grew up together. From the moment Paleshade was old enough to comprehend her surroundings, she and Weedfoot were inseparable. They were a powerhouse duo that caused chaos through camp but were just charming enough to get away with it.

As apprentices, this friendship blossomed into a crush. That, combined with her mother's passing, made it hard for Paleshade to focus on her studies. She was good with her words, however, and excelled in trials. This would grow into a reputation as one of the best inquisitors/defenders in all the Clans. Her grasp of the code and her willingness to call others out meant that when she was assigned to a trial, she usually won.

Paleshade's skill allowed her to graduate at the same time as Weedfoot rather than with her littermates. She dramatically asked Weedfoot to be her mate as soon as their vigil was over, to which Weedfoot said yes. Together, they tore through AshClan, making friends across the Clans and having fun. As time went on, both Paleshade and Weedfoot saw issues in how the Clans viewed certain issues such as the forced celibacy of clerics, the negative attitudes around outsiders, and the over-reliance of violence to resolve certain issues. Paleshade and Weedfoot were the progenitors of the Ripple ideology and spread it through the other Clans.

The pair did their best to keep their founding a secret as Autumnstar became more outspoken on the "dangers" of the new ideology, exiling a couple of their friends who dared to speak up. After the first exile, Paleshade and Weedfoot named their little group (at least the AshClan part) the Ashes in the Water, drifting to somewhere better. This tension grew over the course of a year, wearing on Paleshade. She relied on the determination of some of her friends, like Downdapple, to push on and believe she was in the right.

Eventually, the Ripple ideology formed into a cohesive separatist movement. The Ashes in the Water formally announced their intention to leave AshClan. They didn't expect their own friends and family to turn on them so viciously.

Eelgrowl severely wounded Paleshade during the battle, leaving her and Weedfoot as the only survivors. They were imprisoned within camp without medical treatment. Weedfoot worked hard to help her mate, as her wounds were not so severe, but she was no cleric. The pair expressed their love to one another each day as Paleshade grew weaker and weaker, until she fell asleep and never woke up.

Paleshade was overjoyed to learn all her friends in the Ashes in the Water made it into StarClan and their movement at last had the backing of their ancestors. Paleshade was proud to give Downstar a life for courage and guide RippleClan to their home. She's promised herself that she would work for RippleClan's security until Weedfoot finally joined her. She helps StarClan as a Judge, almost as a way to thank her ancestors for changing their minds, and because she gets to participate in more trials than ever before now.

In RippleClan (as of Moon 16), Oilstripe often sees Paleshade's spirit lingering near Weedfoot, occasionally whispering words of encouragement. While Oilstripe hasn't has the chance to talk to the Celestial of ideology herself yet, she knows Paleshade keeps an eye on her old mate and is determined to see her through her darkest moments.

i fully agree with everyone who has ever talked about the "i'm a bitch and don't know how to say no" line because it never should have been changed. it resonates so deeply with me and i know it does with so many other people too, and 'it's better than being alone' changes the meaning entirely and does not hit the same. the whole point of the song is that he doesn't want to love her, why would you remove that crucial little tidbit? it's the foundation of why he puts up with her anyway, even if he doesn't want to. changing the line changed the meaning from 'i do it because i feel like i can't decide for myself to 'i do it because it's whatever, who cares.' it pisses me off. ALSO, you are now rhyming 'alone' with 'alone.' are you fucking kidding me??

i am not one to ever speak kindly of my ex, but i will say that the first tfb show he took me to, i wasn't very familiar with the band yet. i didn't know what song was playing or what lyrics were coming yet in the way that i do now. (hell, i can predict what song is coming purely by the transitions.) when peach started playing, he turned around and looked me dead in the eyes and sang it to me. i think my heart exploded in that moment. it was probably the sweetest thing he had ever done, because i had no idea it was coming.

"Take a slow, deep breath and then a drink sweetie", Sandra said soothingly as she passed me a glass of wine, "honestly, anyone would think this was your first time stepping out with a gentlemen caller".

I looked at Sandra in the mirror, shooting daggers out of my eyes at her as she winked at me and laughed. Of course, this was my first time going out on a date...with a man...as Becca. Not only did Sandra know this but she'd been pushing all of my buttons almost non-stop for the past week since she'd arranged it.

Scott you see was one of her exs. She'd been telling me I needed to "put myself out there" and find someone who could fulfill my "womanly needs" and then one day when we were out shopping, she got a text on her phone, saw the id and snapped her fingers. "Oh, that's just perfect! Becca honey, Scott's back in town and he's just perfect for you."

I'm not sure I ever actually agreed to a date but that's the way things go with Sandra, she's a force of nature and you end up getting caught up in her energy and before you know it you're sitting in a chair in her apartment as she works magic (professional level) makeup skills on you. "Remember, you always need to make an extra effort on the first date Becca, not just for him but for you too. Get your makeup done, use that expensive perfume you have for special occasions, dress up, maybe even buy some expensive new lingerie in case things go well..."

I didn't notice at first but since the date had been set, Sandra had been teasing me and priming me and making innocent little comments about Scott and me and what might happen. It may have been planned, I don't know but two other things happened about a month before this which really left me in an almost permanent daze of arousal.

First up, Sandra had taken my chastity keys. This wasn't a big deal I thought at the time, I was locked almost constantly anyway and was past the point where I even had the urge to play with myself like that. Sandra had explained to me that it was about trust and a sign of how close I was to her and to sweeten the pot, she also told me the idea was very arousing to her. Did I agree to it? Well, I'd laughed it off at the start but the more she did it and the more suggestive she became the more and more turned on I got. Now she could twitter on to me about almost anything and in a couple of minutes I'm so aroused I can barely see straight. Something about the way he would hold me, I thought so safe in his arms. Remember darling, he likes girlie girls so don't come on too strong and let him lead."

She paused as her attention switched from my cheeks to my eyes. "Really hunnie, all you need to do is smile, laugh and ask him questions!" Sandra giggled at this, "His hands are so big and you know what that means don't you? Oh well, I won't spoil it but if he takes your hand it's a very good sign and make sure you use both of yours on his."

"Anyway, our last date, we both knew this was it, he was having to move because of his job and neither of us were quite ready to see if this was ready to be something serious so we'd decided to end it with one last date."

"We were going for a meal and then out to dance but I was late and we only had time to wolf down salads. We were walking across a public park and I kissed him on the side of his neck...right here," I felt her fingers brush the side of my neck, "don't tell him I told you but that spot drives him wild!"

"Tell me sweetheart, is that the kind of girl you are? Do you want to drive men wild? Are you prepared for what he might do?"

"He turned to me and I could see the fire burning in his eyes. He smiled and, OMG Becca, his smile lights up the night! He said I'd missed dinner but as I had been a good girl he'd saved me a little something for desert and then he changed direction and headed for the public restroom."

"When we went inside, he opened one of the cubicle doors. He spoke so sweetly, as he held me and firmly positioned me on my knees.

"Does my Princess deserve a treat?" I looked up at him with big, pleading eyes. He reached his hands to his zipper, "well, she cleaned her plate so well I think she deserves a little desert."

"Slowly, the biggest chocolate eclair I'd seen appeared from his trousers. My eyes were saucer wide and my mouth was watering. Hmm, do you think you'll want dessert tonight Becca? I know you're watching your figure and keep in mind, if a boy sees you eager for dessert on a first date a girl can get a reputation as willing to eat dessert with anyone who'll buy her a drink...but I know that putting on a pretty dress and getting dolled up can really put you in the mood for some dessert, so maybe a little nibble of something at the very end won't be a disaster?"

At this point, if I wasn't consciously forcing myself not to move and ruin Sandra's makeup application, I think I'd have vibrated off the chair. I was straining against my chastity cage like never before and I had my mouth clamped tightly closed otherwise I'd be drooling like crazy.

"Where were we? Oh yes, I gave Scott a chaste kiss on his cheek as a thank you for my treat and then began to enjoy it. I nibbled and licked it enjoying the taste and smell and feel of it in my mouth. I didn't want to rush but I didn't want to be interrupted and have to share it with someone else either. I worked on the tip trying to get to the cream inside and Scott just chuckled and told me I'd have to work a lot harder for that."

"I do love watching a girl play with her food," Scott moaned. I pulled myself off the eclair to catch my breath. He began playing with my hair again and this time, he pulled my mouth over the entire treat and just held me there as I stared into his eyes and felt so much love."

"Nearly done now sweetie," I felt the pencil on my skin as Sandra began to outline my lips. "Oh I can tell you honey, once you give in to yourself and accept what you want it's the greatest thing in the world! The first time is the hardest, not even that, the very start of the first time is the hard part but once you're out of the door and on a date the magic can start to happen and you can let yourself go (she whispered "a little "into my ear) and begin to enjoy dessert again."

"Scott let go of my hair and as I pulled back a little, his head tipped backwards and he began to moan. That was it, cream started to gush out of the end of the eclair into my mouth. It caught me by surprise when it happened but even more surprising was how of it there was! Even though it was on of the biggest eclairs I'd ever eaten I couldn't believe it contained so much cream. I was swallowing and swallowing but not fast enough and it began leaking out of my mouth and onto my face."

"Scott looked down at me and started laughing. After all the cream was drained, he reached down and used a finger to scoop some up and feed it to me and rub some into my hair. He took a picture on his phone just after that, I look a fright! My makeup running and cream everywhere. I've got a copy on my phone but I think it might be a little too racy an image for you to see."

"We never did go dancing that night. Ok, all done you can open your eyes now."

I opened my eyes and saw...nothing, Sandra had covered the mirror with a blanket. "Patience sweetie, let's do the big reveal when you're really ready!".

Sandra went to her bedroom and came back with some boxes and a bag. Opening the bag, she pulled out a dress in the typical Sandra style. Short and showing some skin, slowly it hit me that this was for me. I started to explain that I couldn't wear that but she kept up her (mostly one sided) conversation as she opened the boxes and pulled out heels and a purse.

"Really Becca, all of this effort and you're squeamish about a pretty dress? You're going on a date, you want to look sexy and femmy for yourself, this outfit is your power and it will make him act appropriately towards you"

With Sandra's help I got dressed, almost hypnotized by her voice as she was telling me about holding hands with a man, settling for a kiss at the end of a first date even when you're aching to invite him in for coffee, wanting to go slowly so you can understand your desires but knowing that there's a reason some girls get a reputation.

Sandra maneuvered me in front of a covered full length mirror, the dress felt so short and the heels so high. She took hold of the cover and pulled it off in one motion. My mouth fell open in amazement, I looked so hot and quite slutty, I couldn't believe my eyes.

I opened my mouth to speak but before I could, there was a knock at the door. Sandra went to open it, "Becca, it sounds like you're Prince Charming is here! I was so busy earlier I forgot to mention Scott had texted to move the start back an hour."

The last couple months have been filled with a lot of work, writing multiple books, as well as my next fantasy novel. But after the major grind that saw me produce over 90k words in a single week, I'm able to sit back and relax a little.

As I imagined this to be an architect’s home, the study on the upper floor is accessible only from the stairway on the outside because in case they want to have professional meetings there, clients won’t have to walk through the living space to get to the office. This is the only reason I built it like this. Absolutely not because I temporarily forgot about the existence of the upper floor and had already decided on a layout for the groundfloor when I remembered it...

I originally started building this years ago at about 4am in the morning, which was also when I came up with the roof shape and garden design. Probably explains a lot...

For some minor changes (mainly for resizing some rugs and the wooden frame under the roofing of the outdoor dining space) the T.O.O.L. mod was used, but you don’t need the mod in your game for this to show up the way I built it.

10. Has a piece of writing ever “haunted” you? Has your own writing haunted you? What does that mean to you?

When I was. like. 8. i wrote this original story about five girls and a boy. it was, in short, very bad: none of the character traits were consistent, the plot moved along terribly, and scenes were messy. every chapter was in a different font and Oh Dear God was it unreadable.

and i fucking loved it. i was so proud of it. i still kind of am? 35 pages for an eight year old isn’t bad. but there are printed copies i still find around my house, and my mom still talks about it to this day, and every time i read it i wince.

i’m not sure if this is the definition of haunted, but it follows me around to this day. you maybe thought this was gonna be a fanfic, but this story. Oh God.

17. Talk to me about the minutiae of your current WIP. Tell me about the lore, the history, the detail, the things that won’t make it in the text.

Gotta talk about fight or flight baybee!! okay so when i started this it was basically because i had many thoughts on the fact it was kristen’s siblings who convinced her to go during family in flames and not. her parents. and also the fact her parents names combined were McDonalds. that cracked me up. also actually i was talking to a lovely irl about this and they said “wait a character is Christian Applebees??” and i went ally beardsley how dare you. the google doc is titled ‘the mfing MacDonna Applebees’

i brainstormed a rudimentary layout for Mordred for this fic, as in i thought about the first floor and went ‘everything else doesn’t matter’. the chapel is canonically disconnected from the house but kristen also canonically has a secret passageway to tracker’s room, so i decided all the secret passageways link up and let people just. into the walls. kristen and riz are the only ones who have any semblance of confidence in there bc they sneak around so much. kristen uses the passageways mostly for tracker’s and bee’s rooms, but she knows how to get to the kitchen and about midway up the tower staircase.

bee is trans. i debated for a while whether her name was spelled Bee or Bea, but i decided on Bee bc i know a Bea and the vibes are. Different. kristen’s nickname for bricker is bricks, and bee calls him rick or ricks, and when they’re a bit older on their Fantasy Discord she Nicknames him Dick and kris doesn’t let Bricker change it back. bricker is bi; he kissed one of the luckstones under the bleachers and that’s what McDonalds was angry about. he’s also religious (bee goes i know the gods are real but i think i’m taking a step back please); he probably becomes a cleric of helio and does something similar to tracker in the sense he worships his own version of helio, not the widely accepted version.

they’re all two years apart: if kristen’s going into jr year, bee’s going into freshman, bricker’s going into seventh, and cork’s going into fifth. this means cork was seven or eight when kristen left, and you know, third graders are Little and have the object permanence of baboons, so. he’s fine. he’s not really in this fic sorry. when i listen to songs, i like to imagine animatics, and so fics are based around them often, and this one is no acception; the first line of the song is ‘i think it might rain today’ and a separate 3+1 line i was debating was ‘3 times kristen found her siblings in a storm and the one time she had them’.

Day 25: If you could go back in time to a competition where they didn’t win and be able to this time award them gold, which comp would it be?

The obvious answer may seem to be the 2014 Olympics.. which of course I and many others (from basic-knowledge fans like me to those who actually choreographed the damn steps) believe they should’ve.

But I’m actually gonna say something different..

I’m choosing GPF 2013.

When I first thought to do this answer for this prompt I had this whole long, detailed explanation why in my my head which now I can’t remember.. so I’ll just put down some dot points.

I felt they deserved a more substantial win with those programs- they were lovely dances and they performed them exquisitely- especially at GPF.

Their reactions after each skate. You could tell immediately after they were so happy and proud of themselves. Those post skate reactions are very telling about how they felt about a skate, and how they feel is the most important thing to them.

I don’t think them winning would’ve changed the fate of the Olympics- ie whatever happened there would’ve still happened, but they maybe wouldn’t have gone into the olys feeling so defeated (an underlying feeling of defeat) if they had had a win against DW before hand. Still wouldn’t have changed their relationship with Marina I don’t think

The scores were so close. I think barely a point between them.

I could go on further but I don’t want to ramble on repeating the same point for the sake of it.

I’ll just quickly add a couple of other comps I would very much like to change the result of but not over GPF 2013:

GPF 2017:

The main reason why and has been said by others (including TS) that I agree with in that it happened at exactly the right moment for them to get so fired up to get as close to perfection as possible by Feb 19 2018. For the team that beat them, they were then riding high on confidence and they felt they had the oly win locked up. They hadn’t beat TS in the 3 previous meetings- not even close, so they now felt ok, we’ve figure out how to compete against TS (and imo there was some sneaky business going on with feds and judging etc.. as with other disciplines on many other occasions). But as someone else said around that time: no one would remember GPF.. both casual viewers and hard core fans- in an oly year the GPF is an oly lead up event and the olys is the competition everyone remembers. I love TS performances from GPF even though there were little errors, but the 2nd place wasn’t important there- important to win that one event. It was another step in their plan that they had prepared for and came out of that event stronger and more hungry that ever. They also had the experience of two times before not win the GPF in the Olympic year.

Worlds 2013:

For some reason this is an event I often forget about.. I think there could be a general lack of appreciation and discussion around the events they didn’t win- I’m certainly guilty of it, even though there is always so much to appreciate- especially when almost every time we are talking about them “not winning” they were the very next place- no lower than 2nd in international competition not more than and handful of times- (5 that I can count) that’s an incredibly high standard to hold for so long. But anyway- of course I would’ve wanted them to win this competition - a world champ in not only their home country, but home city! How many times is that gonna happen? And it’s not as though it’s a big city like where most other worlds are held- a large regional city many outside Canada maybe hadn’t heard of. The potential to defend their title, performing (the FD) the most ambitious and groundbreaking piece of art (in ID) since bolero. OF COURSE I wanted that title for them. Same with my initial choice for this prompt- Carmen deserved a more famous victory.. but for some reason- and to be fair I haven’t watched the majority of the other competitors in this particular competition - so I can’t fairly say exactly that they ‘deserved’ to win over anyone else- they are just point blankly so far ahead of what anyone in their era as well as immediallty before and long after had and will accomplish in their sport… I just don’t see Carmen and what they attempted to do with it: the art, the story, the provocative nature of it that made so many people uncomfortable to the point is was forcibly toned down, still the version they ended up with was spine chilling, the athleticism, performance.. all of it.. it’s one of those things that’s beyond being awarded anything, any medal.. I think through that process they gained so much personal satisfaction that by the time worlds came around they were just focused on skating their best- getting the best result possible, but giving themselves and their home town an performance to remember… it was beyond competition. Maybe if it was any of their other FDs I would say yes absolutely competitively they deserved gold and I would give it to them.. but with the dances they did that season it’s hard for me to think of it like that.. and especially in hindsight I can appreciate it in that respect-as art for themselves and the audience, not the judges.

I share opinions of people that completely different to mines id say daily probably (about his rs, his friends etc)./// Okay… Then please explain how you see a loving couple on all of those pap walks. Because I see a man who is so over all this shit that he literally can’t smile with his eyes anymore. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t think this is a contract, as in actual papers were involved. But I do believe what DM and Enty said about this being a set up with some pretty strict boundaries and how they don’t even consider themselves GF/BF to other people. I think he enjoyed his time with her to being with but he is Seb and his relationship last maybe about 18 months to 2 years and then he gets bored and moves on. He looks like he getting a little bored. They badly interacted at the wedding, yes he was there, we know, but in multiple videos and pictures from multiple people all throughout the night, they hardly even acknowledge each other. She had his jacket for like 2.5 seconds and then put it on the back of her chair. But other than that they were like a couple who had been in a fight and were putting on a pleasant face for the crowd.

I don’t see lovey couple from them. I see friends who are traveling together and just enjoy not being alone. What goes on behind closed doors… who knows. But he sure as hell doesn’t act like he did with previous GF’s and yes people change but not that much. Your love language doesn’t just change and Seb’s is definitely physical touch (you can tell by how he acts with past GF’s, friends, family, and fans.)

I’m saying all this with the utmost respect for you and your blog and just trying to get someone else spin on this situation. Cause how I see it is not ✨endless love✨ it’s more ✨2 years and onto the next✨

Ok so i am trying to reply in the most complete way i can but i am sure other anons will be able to add their interesting thoughts/points to mines.

The most important thing that is important to not forget about is we absolutely don’t know them (vali for both sides) and that we see just 2% of their lives. This is why I can’t understand why you draw so many conclusions in that ask with statements that seem the one and only truth.

On our side we act following the easiest path: two people are seeing together, kissing each others, walking hand in hand, hang out with each other’s families because they are together, as a couple.

Important: none of us ever said they are gonna last or that they have been the most important person for the other in their love life. I feel like some people pretend to think we said that to make us look stupid or something. We very well know seb’s love life history, this doesn’t mean we shouldn’t think these two are dating.

If i was you i would NEVER believe DM and Enty, every time I heard that from someone i go 😳. They have gossip pages just like this one with the difference that at least we concentrate our energy on ONE person and take time to analyse details, while they chose to speak about EVERY celebs, taking infos from non verified sources AND fans. They don’t directly follow the celeb in question they just report the infos sent. Sebastian is not Kim K, if he is getting married you will firstly know about it and DM will know it after you from some fans. Not from a PA or an insider. This is valid for every infos about him. And remember Enty is also 4738292 time worse than DM. (If you believe what they said about seb and annabelle i have to think you also believe the drug addiction rumours….)

About the wedding… this is the part that surprised me the most: with the most respect, i feel like people who genuinely think what you wrote is the truth just can’t accept facts. so speaking to my mom on the phone this morning, i asked her something ive asked her before, but im always hungry for more details.

'what was i like as a kid?'

i dont remember what i was like before 20 or so

so i ask her again, only this time, she asks me a follow up question.

'which ages are we talking?'

i like this answer. shes engaged with me. i like moments like these, where i feel like im actually speaking to my mother, and shes actually hearing me. usually it feels like im being written off.

'what was i like when we lived in south dakota, and compared to how i was when we moved?'

we lived in south dakota until i was seven. after around my seventh birthday, i was bombarded with thing after thing after thing until i was a different child, she's told me before.

she tells me something similar, but i get more details this time around.

when we lived in south dakota, she tells me, i was very happy. i had an abundance of energy and curiosity, i never ran out of things to say, and i was convinced to make friends with anybody i saw. i was really outgoing, she tells me.

she cant see me, but im nodding along.

i remember these times. life really was idyllic, from my point of view. i had two loving parents, and we lived in a pretty nice house in a beautiful neighborhood. i had a baby sister i adored, a dog and a cat, a swing set and a bike. i had friends in the neighborhood, at school, in girl scouts, at gymnastics. i was active. i had so, so much fun. and i really was happy.

when i was seven a cascading series of events turned everything i knew over, and the catalyst was the day i remember a knock at the door.

when i answered, i was met with a tall, lanky man who looked unfamiliar to me. but he was happy to see me, so i suppose i was happy to see him.

this was my dad, they told me.

i remember not really understanding. what do you mean, this is my dad?

i have a dad, he's right there.

but this is my real dad, they said. we were going to go hang out for a bit, so we did. he took me to the mall to play in the arcade, he took me to the fair, and i had fun.

this is my brother, he told me. this made me happy. i really like family, i was happy to have more. he was a little older than my baby sister. i havent talked to him in over ten years at this point, but thats a story for another time.

things were strange and new, but i still had fun.

that fall, i started at a new school.

my mother had gotten out of the air force and it wasn't convenient to drive me to my old school by the base, so i started taking the bus to school. i really didnt like it, leaving all of my friends at school. but id make new friends, i thought.

school wasnt very fun from that point, i had a hard time making friends. i didnt have to experience that long. a couple months into the school year, my mom told me we were moving to california.

so we loaded everything up. my grandmother flew out to help us make the drive. we took the cat, and left the dog and fish. my mother, grandmother, sister, and i began the couple days drive to the west coast.

nobody told me my dad, the one i had always known as my dad, would never be coming with us.

i ask my mom what i was like after we moved.

i grieve the person i was before, because i never got to be them again, and i dont know who they are anymore. i miss them, and im trying to get back.

she says i changed.

i no longer made friends. i came home crying from school every day. every day. when, months later, my mother finally told me that she and my dad were divorcing and he was never coming to california with us, i was crushed. my mom took a job in san diego, about an hour commute, and so i began to barely see her.

my new school was really bad.

i dont know why i was made the target. maybe it was the speech impediment. maybe its because im neurodivergent, and they could pick up on it, maybe in ways younger kids couldn't. maybe it was because i was one race, and that race was by and large a minority in this school.

all i know is my entire class bullied me. the teachers were complicit. the administration was complicit. and i was a little kid who was so scared.

one day in third grade, my mom finally got the chance to come to an open house. i was so excited, she didn't get to come to the school often. it was hard to get off work.

this next bit i dont remember, this is a story she told me. my heart breaks for the child that had to endure this.

we walked into my open house and the entire class, in unison, turned and faced us and exclaimed, "Ew, it's ____!"

and then... everyone just went back to the open house. all the children, all their parents, the teacher, like nothing had happened. even me. everyone except for my mother, who looked on in horror as she tried to process what had just happened.

she didn't say anything. she made it through the open house. ig bc i was so happy to have her there and she didnt want to ruin it.

she phone the administration the next school day. this was not the first time she had called. she demanded to know why nothing was being done about this.

the principal told her that maybe if i didnt wear dirty clothes to school, i wouldn't get picked on.

as if it was my fault.

im sorry, i really loved that casper hoodie. it wasn't dirty, it was just stained, and i loved it, and it was not a valid reason to make me feel like scum.

leading up to this, i had a rough go of it. the summer before third grade i had inexplicably gained a lot of weight, which just egged the kids on more. i cried at school, so they made fun of me for that.

after that open house and that phone call with the principal, my mom pulled me out of the rest of the school year.

i returned at some point for a field trip, where the kids were eerily nice to me, but they couldn't take back how they made me feel.

i wish this was something that only happened at school, but it didn't. in my neighborhood, kids i thought were my friends eventually started bullying me, too. i remember one valentines day in particular, i went to a friends house, only to be ambushed by the neighborhood boys who hid in trash cans to surprise me and they all started pelting me with spiky Sweet Gum balls.

this wasnt the worst thing to happen in that neighborhood.

all of this to say, by the time i finally moved to a new district for 4th grade, i had a lot of emotional problems. something she told me today is that i had a deal with my new teacher, that i would get a prize if i could make it to the end of the day without crying.

i wonder then... if she saw me cry so much, why did my mom never get me help?

I grew up in Iraq. When people hear this in the US, where I now live, they usually say: "Wow…that must have been hard."

I mean? I guess? I've been a couple hundred meters from ISIS bombings. The government is spectacularly dysfunctional. You never know when the electricity might be on. Most summer days are 50 C. The tap water is salty.

And I also love the wonky little generators people wire everywhere. I love the weird shark statue with Saddam torn off the top. I love the guys fishing in the river despite the fact that it's greenish black. I love how excited everyone gets about the government building one tiny new overpass. I also love the random overpass sitting in the desert connected to zero roads. I love hearing our friend giggle as my dad ribs him for driving a Toyota Hilux, a favorite of terrorists transporting weapons. I love the stray cats that carefully pick their way over the barbed wire on our walls. I love the people that run towards a bombing instead of away because they want to help the survivors. I love the guy who fixed my glasses with a wrong-sized screw because he lived through sanctions and doesn't need dumb things like correctly-sized screws.

But it's almost impossible to explain this to most Americans. They picture a normal Iraqi life and think it would be their worst nightmare. So I'm used to just not sharing that part of my life, or ever seeing it in media.

So this game totally caught me off guard. We're in a setting in between apocalypses, starring an alcoholic fuckup from a corrupt occupier-aligned police force, who at best might keep a couple people from dying in a gang war. It's pretty bleak. It's also incredibly fucking joyful.

Just the prose alone is so sincere. You can't write stuff this goofy, flowery, beautiful, dumb, and moving ironically. The writers clearly love words far out of proportion to how much they might be able to actually change fundamentally broken systems.

And all the characters, the worldbuilding details, the interruptions from Shivers and Esprit de Corps, hell, all the bits and pieces of your brain. There's so much attention and thus so much love everywhere in this game for humans and what humans do. Doesn't matter if they might all get shot, blown up, or wiped clean by pale in a couple years. Doesn't matter if they brought it all on themselves. Right here, in this moment, they are human, and so they matter.

I feel like this game gets why my life in Iraq was worth living. Even if a lot of my fellow Americans think the world sure would be nicer and simpler if Iraqis just didn't exist.
