Never cleans the sink well after he shaves. Every time you go in the bathroom after he’s trimmed his beard, it’s like walking into a crime scene of a hamster massacre

I know I don't need a label to live but god do I feel miserable sometimes (paradoxically from the label and the unknown)

I am genuinely happy for my friends and their love but it is such a maze for me and maybe that's how it's supposed to feel

I've confused a friendship with what my ex friend considered "romantic" and I regretted it when I agreed to date, all this was resolved later because I confessed our feelings vary a lot

Thing is I do not feel miserable because I do not have a partner right now, absolutely not, I feel so happy because I get free time for myself and for my friends and other stuff and hobbies

Streamer!Jinx Headcanons!

Just some basic ideas and drabbles pooled into one post. I see a lot of streamer!ellie and streamer!vi, but barely any jinx if any at all. I don’t know, I just think she’d be the funniest streamer ever.

Streamer!Jinx who got surprised when she blew up pretty fast. For the wrong reasons, Ofcourse (controversy, because she can’t keep her mouth shut), but once it smoothed over she gained a lot of following

She has no filter. None. The second something pops into her head, she says it aloud. She deals with the consequences afterwards.

Her room is either really messy, or oddly tidy. On that note, Streamer!Jinx that decorated her whole setup and desk, plus her headphones. They’re all covered in scribbles and spraypaint.

Streamer!Jinx that sometimes manages to convince you to play on stream with her, addressing you as a close friend to keep you both comfortable and safe online.

She constantly says “chat” and “gang”, even when she’s not streaming. Vi and Ekko pick up on it and comment on it frequently, using it to tease her.

Rages at Minecraft. 100%. She joined MCC, just to ragequit half way through because her team was in dead last. Her chat watched her leave the server and walk out of her room on the webcam. She had to take a whole 15 minuet break and come back with a cup of coffee to calm down.

She would start a Minecraft hardcore series just to hide in a hole as soon as it turns night, before logging off and never returning.

It got taken the wrong way and had to explain that she’s infact Queer with a girlfriend. She defended herself with "Guys, I’m literally dating.." after she revealed your relationship, and then went on a rant sesh about you. She’s the biggest yapper ever.

Her twitch account got banned or suspended once because she got so mad at a kid on Fortnite that she cursed him out and went overboard. (Again, she has no filter).

She mainly plays Minecraft and gun games. But sometimes she’ll do longer lives for charity where she’ll play the chat’s top pick.

She accidentally showed your face on stream once, forgetting to tell you her webcam was on. You didn’t realise until later that day there were edits of you on your own fyp or twitter TL. "Babe, you might wanna see this.."

Jinx still gets confused whenever she sees an edit of herself. Also, she has a public favourite folder of edits of you. She doesn’t know how to edit it to make it private.

Once you got comfortable showing your face on webcam, Jinx hosted a “do my hair and Q&A” stream where you braided and brushed her hair while you both answered questions. Any excuse to spend time with you at the same time as working.

they 100% were academic rivals. i love academic rivals and i love the idea of both of them being prefects and lily getting so frustrated that dorcas is a prefect AND on the quidditch team and she still manages to keep up with her. meanwhile dorcas is just like "huh. this random lil redhead is glaring at me. i'll glare back i guess" - dorcas 100% is the one who can keep up with lily, 100% the one who asks her questions and really facilitates academic discussions in a way i can't picture even remus doing.

RAHHH SO!!!! dorcas and lily bonding over the slytherins. they get it! they get what it's like to be friends with someone who is going down the wrong path (lily w snape, dorcas w regulus, barty, and evan) and i just love the idea of them bonding over that! maybe dorcas is the only person who agrees with lily that not all slytherins are bad but she still brings her down to earth to say "but ours are. our ones are going to do something bad."

dorcas is very cool very calm very collected until lily turns up and teases her and then she's a flustered mess. everyone makes fun of her for it because she has suchhhh a resting bitch face but lily can just wave and it fades away

lily on the other hand is alwayssss on the move, always doing something! and dorcas is the only thing that can get her to slow down

i like the idea of them driftung apart a bit after SWM, lily gives up snape and sees dorcas is still friends with the slytherins so she drifts away a bit because she's angry. she's angry and she's jealous until dorcas sees the mark one day/something Big happens and then she's turning up at gryffindor tower in the middle of the night asking what she can do - boom, ootp.

dorcas tried to teach lily how to fly one day and it ended with both of them falling into a massive muddy puddle but they just laid there talking for hours instead

What is the main lesson of your story?

People are not 100% good. Nor are they 100% evil. If someone does something wrong, what matters is what they do after. If someone does something right, what matters is if they keep that up. (Very shaky but this is the general lesson idk lol)

What did you use as inspiration for your worldbuilding?

My inspiration comes from a lot of things (music, things I read, stuff from dreams) but I never really committed to writing all of them down, lols

What is your MC trying to achieve, and what are you, the writer, trying to achieve with them? Do you want to inspire others, teach forgiveness, or help the reader grow as a person?

Arbor’s main goal throughout the story is to figure out who he was, and figure out if he can be redeemed for what he’s done. My goal, simply put, is to finish the damn story (/hj), but inspiring and entertaining others is always a plus to me!

How many chapters is your story going to have?

She’d even apologized, in her own way—this woman of authority, lowering her guard and acknowledging she’d been in the wrong. She’d had a rough day after that disastrous evening and hadn’t been fair to me. Those were her words.

I’d seen the worry in her eyes when she thought I might leave. And I’d stayed. I wanted to see where this would lead. She irritated me, got under my skin, even exasperated me. Yet I was drawn to her, irresistibly. In those moments when our eyes had met, we’d challenged each other. I was going to stay, to test her limits, to finally play the game my way—and, of course, to finish this major project, crucial for our young firm. I’d come close to walking away minutes before, but I’d managed to reach Lucy. I smiled to myself.

When I arrived at the site, the workers helped me bring the rugs into the living room. I still favored the gorgeous Persian one. Two months into the project, significant progress had been made. Most of the flooring was installed, including redoing some in the infamous office. The walls were largely finished, and the workers were now focused on the grand Italian-style bathroom. This house truly had charm.

“Hello, Ona!” Lucy’s voice surprised me.

“Hello, Lucy!”

She looked tired, her features drawn. I showed her the three rugs, awaiting her verdict.

“I really like this one,” she said, pointing to the ochre rug.

“This one, no,” she added, indicating the gray one. “As for this last one… I’m not sure what to think. I can’t decide if it’s completely outdated or stunning.”

I smiled. She must like it but found it hard to admit I’d been right.

“You know what I think…”

“Tell me what you think, Ona…” She looked at me with those piercing blue eyes. We were finally reconnecting.

“Well, the Persian contrasts with the room’s tone, which is why, in my humble opinion, it’s stunning.”

“Can I keep them here for a short while? I’m going antique hunting in Brittany next week—maybe I’ll have an epiphany!” she said, smiling.

“Who knows? That works for these two rugs. As for the coffee table, I have some ideas in this booklet…”

She interrupted me.

“Let’s discuss this over a coffee. I owe you a drink for last time!”

Unexpected… and intriguing. We headed to the café from before.

By the time we were on our second drink, after discussing coffee tables, sideboards, and chairs, she sighed.

“All right, let’s stop talking about the project. I finished council meetings at 3 a.m. yesterday—I’m exhausted!”

So that explained the tired look that did nothing to diminish her beauty.

“All right, you’re the boss!” I said with a smile. Then, “So, going to Brittany on holiday?”

“Yes, for a week at my vacation home, to recharge after these intense weeks. I hope you won’t miss me too much,” she teased.

“Or, maybe, the opposite—a week of peace. Relieved?” I teased back, meeting her gaze.

“I’ll let you know next week when I send you daily updates on how much I miss you.” I could see my words had unsettled her. Ona: 1, Lucy: 0. She smiled, slightly flustered, then changed the subject.

“And you, any vacation plans?”

“No, not this year—way too much work,” I said, making a mock disappointed face that amused Lucy.

With the third drink, the usual barriers, her cool demeanor, were slowly crumbling. We laughed, and for the first time since the night of the incident, there was a genuine camaraderie. Her warmth surprised me; she could be witty, even charming. I found out she was quite well-traveled, like me, so we shared stories.

My phone pulled me from our conversation. It was Alessia, waiting impatiently for me, now for almost an hour. I checked the time—10:30 p.m. We’d been at the café for two hours, though it felt like ten minutes. Lucy noticed my distraction.

“Your girlfriend waiting?” she asked.

“Something like that. I lost track of time.”

“Me too…”

Our eyes lingered, brightened by a little too much alcohol. There was a spark between us. Reluctantly, I got up to leave. As I was about to shake her hand, she took it, pulled me closer, and gave me a kiss on each cheek. I felt warmth spread through me; my cheeks flushed.

“Ona, let’s skip the handshakes, all right? And don’t forget those emails next week.”

Star Angels - A Hellaverse Concept/Fan Thing

(Also known as: star speakers, star readers, star children, sky woven, tapestry angels, time weavers)

(Disclaimer, you can use this concept if you want, I just ask that you give appropriate credit! And thank you to @speak-easy-anon for bouncing ideas back and forth and helping me develop this)

Star angels are an incredibly rare subgroup of Heavenborn angels, with only about one hundred (100) having ever been created. They are notable for their connection to the stars, planets, and space, this connection granting them the gift of a unique brand of prophecy. They can come from any species of Heavenborn angel, from cherubs to virtues.

The exact circumstances required for the creation of a star angel, or if those circumstances could be artificially recreated, are unknown. What is known is that they must be created/conceived during a unique/incredibly rare astronomy event. The current youngest star angel is an exorcist who was created in 1833, during the meteor shower known as The Night The Stars Fell.

During their creation/conception, as their stardust is pulled from the fabric of Creation and used to make a new angel/embryo, some of it essentially gets tangled. This leaves a part of their mind, soul, and self forever tangled in the threads of reality, and that’s what grants them their prophecy. They are capable of seeing the threads of possible futures and judging which are most likely to happen. “Knots” are events that are almost guaranteed to happen, the tighter the knot, the more ironclad the event. Each star angel sees the threads a little differently, but overall their abilities are essentially the same.

Unfortunately this tangled state and their prophecy isn’t all positive, and comes with a heavy mental toll. It’s actually not uncommon for star angels to be mistaken for being autistic, since they share many traits. They have a tendency to avoid crowded places, finding large amounts of people and/or chaotic environments incredibly overwhelming. So many people means there’s a lot of threads all jumbling together.

They are also often highly sensory seeking, looking for ways to increase sensation in their body so that it feels more even with the chaos in their mind. The more uneven they feel, the more likely they are to seek destructive stimulus. This need can manifest in a multitude of ways, such as seeking novel textures, flapping their hands, chewing on clothing, seeking sexual arousal and sensations, plucking their feathers, rubbing against rough surfaces, scratching their skin, and pretty much anything else that provides physical stimulation.

The stereotypes of prophets being secretive and antisocial were likely partially influenced by star angel’s tendencies to make their living space geared specifically towards their needs to the point where if they don’t have a reason to, they just won’t leave, as well as the fact that socializing is usually difficult for them. They can’t process language the same way that most do, and so their speech can be difficult to understand. Many people compare how they speak to riddles or poetry.

Many star angels struggle with names, so instead they give people nicknames themed around the stars, planets, and space. Place names are also difficult, so for example they might call Heaven “the right sky” and Hell “the wrong sky.” Constellations are a common nickname source.

All star angels have picked up at least one art form of some sort. Embroidery, painting, sewing, sculpting, glass blowing, music, photography, and knitting are some examples. Many dabble in multiple kinds of art, but always have a favorite. Pretty much everything they create reflects their origin in some way, depicting the stars, planets, and space. Having this physical medium to focus on helps keep their minds from becoming fully tangled in the threads they see.

On to appearances, if their behavior doesn’t give away that a new angel is a star angel, as mentioned earlier they’re often mistaken for being autistic, then their markings most likely will, though a few of them can be mistaken as well. These markings are,

Fading pigmentation from their elbows to their fingertips (can be mistaken for similar purely genetic markings)

Fading pigmentation from their knees to their toes (can be mistaken for similar purely genetic markings)

Patches across the body and wings (can be mistaken for vitiligo or piebaldism)

Tear stain marks under the eyes, something down onto the neck

False third eyes on the forehead

False eyes on any part of the body

Crescent marks on any part of the body

Star shaped freckles on any part of the body

These markings are always white, gray, silver, or black, with a wide variety of shades. Usually they only have one type of marking, but occasionally they can have two or three.

When a new star angel is created/born, their caretaker/s are provided with information and assistance to help them ensure the new angel is as welcomed and valued as any other in our glorious kingdom.

What you wrote about the shift in the online definition of feedism is interesting to me! I was exploring the online scene during that time (2011), too, and I feel a bit the same and a bit opposite. I saw “feedism” being used as a catchall term that folks lumped everything involving eating or gaining weight under. Stuffing and bloating were included under “feedism.” Even vore was occasionally under that umbrella.

I think now I see it as similar to the label of “queer” vs more specific labels within the queer identity. Queer itself can be an identity or an umbrella term. Like feedism can be a kink in its own right, or an umbrella term for other kinks. I hope this makes sense.

Sorry for sitting on this ask for ages, I was trying to find a few sources I *know* I have read with different definitions of fat fetish related terms, and I was curious to look back and them and see what they said. One was an older webpage and one a 2010s-ish? webzine, I believe, with like infographics and everything, but for the fucking life of me I cannot find them!

That's interesting, though! I agree, I have definitely heard feedism used as an umbrella term for as long as I've known it, I just don't think it was as common back in the day in my memory. It was (/is?) my impression that people who weren't as invested in the nitty-gritty of various terms used a looser definition, kind of like people now who don't distinguish between "feedism" and "feederism".

But with all of this kind of stuff I can never tell what might have been representative of the communities at large and what might have been a reflection of the specific slice of the Internet I happened to be exposed to, so who knows. The way feedism was always explained to me when I was learning about it was a feeding dynamic 🤷‍♂️ That's more useful for me personally but I don't make the rules about how other people want to identify, and I've kind of started seeing in the past year or 2 that if I really cared enough to make it a battle it would be a losing one lol, all the youths seem to be using it as an umbrella term to mostly mean weight gain kink at this point. I also may be 100% wrong and just made up the definition in my head without realizing it back in the day and have run with it for years!

I do think that it's worth being very intentional about how terms are defined and used in formal or academically-minded writing about ourselves, though, and making sure we're acknowledging the nuances in how the term is used, and I think my points I made in my reply to the post we're referencing still stand.

I once read a line in a paper or article or something that expressed the opinion that after so much research done on BDSM over the decades on what BDSM, what engaging in fetish dynamics and acts "means", the most solid conclusion that can be drawn is that the BDSM community are the worst people to ask about what BDSM means because nobody fucking knows and there is 0 consensus lol. I imagine it would be similar for our side of the tracks, too, there's a lot of variation and diversity among us.

What I really wish could happen is getting a huge sample of free-text submissions of terminology definitions from people in the fat/feeding/weight gain fetish realms just to see what everyone's similarities and differences were!

There's a certain CCCC summary video that we really, really like. We think it is a great video for people if they want to grasp the story more clearly, if they're confused, or if they're listening to the album for the first time.

That video being Chonny Jash and the Weight of the Mind on Youtube by W3tBl@nk3t. We think they cover it really well.

However, I'm sharing this for a different reason; they say few certain things that really struck with us until now, that I'd like to share with the fandom. Sometimes, we see people really just.. Miss the point of CCCC entirely, and I'd like to shine a light on what was said here. If you'd like to hear this for yourself on video, the timestamp is 35:57-36:45.

Keep in mind that the idea behind this album is being whole, and that means neither of these sides are entirely in the right or the wrong; this album is about inner compromise and acceptance(3).”

1.) The side of you that suffers; Heart. He is representative of Whole's emotions, he holds them. Your emotions can go haywire, especially when one's mentally ill and has no way of their feelings being validated. An emotional person like Heart suffers under the weight of crushing, devastating feelings. He wants to feel things out, have time to just process everything, even if it takes them days or weeks to get over it. It's not healthy, but feeling is what he does, and he wants to help because he knows he has importance. Solely focusing on just your emotions isn't the best thing to do, however.

2.) The side of you that so desperately wants you to get over it; Mind. Many people have been there, have wanted themselves to stop wallowing in their own emotions and just do something else, even to the point where you think feeling things out is unnecessary. This is also unhealthy, but not intentionally. Like Heart, Mind just wants to help, everything he does is in best interest. This is what he thinks will get them to move on the quickest; to leave behind emotions and focus on anything BUT that. Also not the best thing to do.

3.) This album is about inner compromise and acceptance; About being whole. Neither of Heart and Mind are right nor wrong. They have their own ways of doing things, of what they think will help their whole self out the most, but both are unhealthy despite the good intentions. They fight over who's wrong or right, when they shouldn't even be doing so in the first place. It's your thoughts against your emotions, basically; your feelings contradict your thoughts, and it leads to an inner war of sorts. This won't make things better, which is why you can't have Mind over Heart or vice versa; you'll need both of them. In the album, they are only able to be whole when they get along. They harmonize, they 'combine', they see eye to eye with each other and work together instead of fighting over and over. Inner compromise is achieved with this, and acceptance can lead them away from any disaster that there's to come.

What we're trying to say is that mental health is a large thing tackled within CCCC, and yet we see a lot of people who overlook it; thus, end up missing the point of the whole album. We see a lot of people believe Mind's perspective a little too much and treat Heart quite harshly, or the other way where people demonize Mind and say that Heart is perfect, when it's not really that in the slightest.

This is not a hate post towards people's interpretations of CCCC or how they view characters, I'm just saying that people can tend to overlook what's in the very narrative, and we see a concerning amount of people do such.

Fun fact: Hajime’s height in Japanese is 179 cm and in feet, 5’10.

Meaning that not only Mikan and Hajime would be the same height, but Hajime’s the tallest of the DR protagonists! Makoto (160 cm, aka 5’2), Komaru (163 cm, 5’4), Kaede (167 cm, 5’5) and Shuichi (171 cm, 5’7). RIP Makoto.

I've used so many different converters online and it seems the most consistent number for 179 to feet is 5.87 which would translate either to 5'8"or 5'9" if you're feeling generous. ok ok but THEN you get converters like THIS:

So then WHY does shit get weird with height around Hajime's and Nagito's??Well. I noticed something while trying to figure out Mikan's height since originally I had wanted to put her in CM since that seemed simplier but I couldn't gauge how much two more inches would be in CM thus I went back to the converters to convert once again from cm to feet (mistake).

Well interesting enough, when I put Mikan to 182 cm google converts it to 5.97feet:

which should be about an inch more than Hajime who's at 5.87 yeah? Then it implies that every inch is roughly 3 cm which google confirms as well:

ok ok the logic then would be that if I want Mikan to be TWO inches taller than Hajime then she'd need to be at least 185cm as 179cm+6cm = 185cm which should translate to around 5.8 feet + 2 inches = 5.10 feet

Here's the deal alright. Because 3cm is actually a bit more than an inch (1.18 inches), those extra inches start adding up and can add ALMOST an inch which is why we can get those sudden jumps. I acknowledge this and accept this as fact.

But I will NOT accept Hajime nor Nagito being 5'10" or 5'11" because really they're approx 5.872feet and 5.905feet and even if we're being kind and rounding up then really they'd be 5'9" and 5'10" on a good day. Though really Nagito should still be 5'9" because im sorry honey you juuuust made it to 5.9 and you're only 1cm taller than Hajime not 3cm not even 2cm. Hajime and Nagito have little to no height difference.

So thus, 5'10" Mikan would still, in fact, be taller than Hajime AND Nagito. Now, all that being said, what would Mikan's height be in cm? Well, for simplicity's sake we'll say she's 182.

TLDR: Converting metric that is based on the powers of 10s with the Imperial system based on the division of 3s, 12s, and whatever the fuck you feel like that day messes everything up and gives you wildly different perceptions of height and everyone is simultaneously correct but also wrong and Byakuya is 6 foot tall fuck you he's doesn't get to round up he has enough height already he needs to learn to share and be humbled. true!! i imagine playing Guys With Something Wrong With Them is somewhat more compelling than Average Normal Well-Adjusted Guy. and also more difficult lending itself to a more interesting performance. i say as someone who has 0 acting experience. but it's about the Diversity of Guys With Something Wrong With Them.

take villainous roles only. fabio's dramatic and flamboyant and obsessed with fame and the manifestation of what's Wrong With Him is a lot of screaming and dancing and also mass murder plots. and violent killing. diabolik, in contrast, is a guy who was very evidently raised around a bunch of criminals until the age of 22 and therefore has 0 social skills. and also likes crime and killing. what's Wrong With Him is much more subtle but still very clear. and primo is. well. primo. his problem is everything (been a while since i watched trust but specifically power and ambition and all that). guess what? also kills! but can act nice when he wants and violent when he wants. a real enigma of a Guy With Something Wrong With Him.

and yet? all the Same Guy. same actor. without even getting into like, paolo il padre d'italia, which is another one of my favourite performances of his for personal reasons. and other more restrained dramatic roles. for my top 2 compare martin martin eden to pietro le otto montagne and they are both super different from each other AND paolo. and again even though i know in theory they're played by famous actor luca marinelli whenever i see the movie i am less like 'wow that's famous actor luca marinelli' and more like 'wow that's my good friend pietro le otto montagne'. which is not true for all actors. super diverse range of roles super skilled actor very good at his job. oscar when
