One of my favorite blogs, which isn’t just a musing blog but for so many muse-related things, is @museinspo​​. Love the admin, love the blog, love everything. @thephoenixwrites​ is also another favorite, great quality blog with a variety of content for roleplayers and the like.

Her Sebastian is by far one of my favorite Sebastian’s out there because while she keeps him in character, she gives him even more of a personality and background that I was admire and adore. 1. Teaching. Last year was my first year teaching and I almost quit it was so horrible, but I’m so glad I didn’t. This year has been incredible and I have students who actually beat the bunch I had during student teaching. There’s a lot of negative talk about teachers and education and I don’t get paid as much as most people in any other career, but I actually wake up in the morning and enjoy going to work. I love my students to death and I feel like I’m doing what actually matters. This year I’ve been really sort of pushing aside the expectations of the state and the school and doing what I believe is truly important while still teaching reading and writing skills, and I’ve had so many students come to me and say that they appreciate me, and that I’m influencing them and opening their minds to major issues, and that I’m making the school a better place, and I know that no other job could ever give me that feeling.2. Julia. This seems silly to put her specifically and I know I used to say this a lot, but I don’t say it enough. Julia saved my life and she’s the reason I’m here and happy and not crying every day. My friend and sister who actually live near me tried to help, but Julia’s the only one who never got fed up with me, even when she should have. She let me cry and vent to her every single day for months on end. She didn’t just give up on me even if I was probably the most negative aspect of her life with the things I went to her about. She believed in me when even I didn’t and I love her more than anyone else. She’s my best friend and I’m so grateful to have her. I talk to her every single day and RPing with her and talking to her makes me happy.3. Storytelling. Whether it’s books, movies, or TV shows, I love listening or watching stories. I love getting invested with characters and their stories. I love following a plot whether it be just the span of one book, a series, a TV show with 8 seasons, or a movie that lasts two hours. As a teacher, I wish I could create a class where we did a TV show study because there’s a negative connotation with television. People say it’s for stupid people and I’m glad that Netflix is sort of changing that because I know people who hate reading, but can analyze their favorite show more intelligently than some people can analyze a ~class novel.4. RPing. I’m really glad I got back into RPing because it’s how I met Julia, and it’s also just a really fun hobby/activity for me. I’ve been in a funk for over a month now with my replies and everything, but I really do love it, as much as I complain about it. I love Sebastian and that I have so much freedom to give his character more depth and write out his relationships with others. Sure, it sucks that when people ask what’s new, I’d rather tell them about my plots than most other things, but it’s how I choose to spend my spare time for a reason.5.Theatre. I can’t sing, act, or dance very well, but I never go to see a musical or play and then leave in a bad mood. There’s something about watching a live performance, especially one with singing, that makes me so happy. I love listening to soundtracks of my favorite musicals or ones I haven’t seen it. I love listening to people with crazy talented voices hit notes I didn’t know existed. I love the storylines of musicals and how the songs fit into them perfectly. I can never get enough of watching people get on stage and give it their all just to give the audience an amazing show. I just love musicals and you really should never talk to me about them because I get overly excited and it’s honestly embarrassing, but I love it.

1. Roleplying. I love it. It can be used as an escape or just a way to pass time, to have some fun and I absolutely adore it. I love playing Hunter Clarington with so much of my heart and I’m very grateful I get to play him in so many ways with so many other roleplayers. I get to explore him, his personality, his characteristics far beyond what I could ever imagine and I love having such a creative outlet on hand all the time and where I can grab it whenever I like.

2. My cat. Of course. She just turned fourteen a few weeks ago but she’ll still my little baby. I don’t care how ridiculous it sounds, but she makes me incredibly happy and she can lift my mood by literally just being there. In the rare moment I ever cry, she’ll come up by me to see if I’m okay. And now I’m getting emotional, bye.

3. My friends and family. I have a pretty huge extended family and they’re always there for me whenever I need them, and I’m insanely close with a few of my cousins that they’re both my family and friends at the same time. I know that as long as I have them around, I know I’m loved and I know they’ll be there for me the moment I ask even if we don’t take for months on end. It’s harder for me to make and keep friends because I feel like I don’t need them, but the few friends I do have, I’m incredibly grateful for because they remind me that a life living by yourself isn’t really one living. They push me past my comfort levels, and I do the same for them and I’d anything for so many of them. I get protective.

4. A day where I don’t feel any anxiety. These are hard to come by, but when they do it’s very hard to not just stop what I’m doing and just appreciate life and what I have. I’ve been through quite a lot and to know I’m still here, I’m still alive and breathing and stronger than ever is quite the accomplishment. No matter what shit you’ve been through, there is always hope, and if you don’t like yourself today or your life today, tomorrow you can change it. Your life is entirely up to you, and I know that now.

5. I’m going to cheat here and say three things instead of just one. Reading, listening to music, and watching movies/shows. It’s insane how much a few words can change your mood, or even your life, but these three things do that and so easily. If you’re feeling down, just turn on a comedy and if the problem is small, you’ll find yourself wondering why you were angry or sad in the first place. Or pick up a book that makes you realize how much potential you have, how much control over your life you have and you’re changed forever. Or listen to music that speaks to you in a way no one else can, that tugs at your heart harder than you could ever expect and you can’t stop thinking about that one song for days, and you’re baffled that something so simple could change you. I love these sorts of outlets because they surprise you in the best way possible.

🔟: How many active muses do you have in total?

That is a very good question and once I can find an answer, I shall give. No, but like that depends on what you consider active bc in terms of actually writing and RPing I suck, but liiiiiike in terms of muses I headcanon and plan and talk about on a regular basis? I’d say about eleven. Fourif you include the fact that eight of them due to total lack of control are essentially the same character in a different setting. There are also a few NPCs that need to be fleshed out some but are discussed fairly regularly too, so that might up that number.

🔜: Are there any muses you want to add, but aren’t sure about?

One day, a snarky girl of mine shall becomes platonic soulmates and best friends with one Mr. Sebastian Smythe, that is for certain. And as can be surmised from my username, my desire to somehow play a certain orphaned French fanmaker is unrelenting. 

👪: Are any relationships between your muses? (friends, family, enemies, etc.)

Of course. Thanks to my complete lack of trust, I play my own character’s twin brother and of course vice versa, in the form of Hunter and Alex. In the case of literally every other Hunter ever, I suppose Grace could technically be considered a muse and she’s his older sister. I have two other siblings, Camille and Sugar, who I both play out in my head from time to time. 

🌠: From what you know of my muse, which of your muses would you recommend me to play with and why?

Honestly, all of them. You can seriously play with any of my muses whenever you want in whatever world, they are all yours bbycakes. I mean you already have babes and bun in all their forms but you can pick any of my muses any day of the week, 24/7. Maybe though anyone but Torie, unless any of your pups is down to befriend a hipster.

🎭: With which of your muses can you identify the most?

Camille Naomi Motta because I too have an obnoxiously loud, annoyingly whiny younger sister. No but for real though, probably Alex.

👄: Which of your muses would probably get sexual with each other, if they met?

None of them, I don’t think? Unless NPCs count as muses, in which case Alex and Benny would be all over each other in a hearbeat but they’re already together so I’m not quite sure that it counts.

👻: Which is your most mischievous muse?

Camille, if only by process of elimination, though she herself isn’t exactly any level of mischievous that could be credited as a personality trait.

Let me date Carter and give him all the goodness and kindness this world has to offer and make him smile.

Victoria just because the rest would kick my butt in like -8 seconds and she’s just far too hipster for me to be anything less than unimpressed.

Hunter in all his forms, but particularly Royal! and Spy!verse Hunters.

Victoria/Torie. She is so chill and mellow like… 97% of the time that she prides herself on being a peacemaker. She chalks it up to being a middle child, but really it’s just in her nature

Evelyn/Sugar Motta, though her sister Camille is a close second. 

🐎: Which of your muses is the fastest?

Either royal!verse or spy!verse Hunter, because they have both been trained in the art of combat and have quite the agility as a result.

Again, either royal! or spy!verse Hunter, simply because their jobs demand it. Mutant!verse Hunter is rather physically strong too due to circumstances, but he also has a very strong sense of mental strength that his abilities require him to keep up at all times.

🐷: Which of your muses is the naughtiest?

None of them are what you’d classify as ‘naughty’, but if one of them had to be chosen, it would be charme!Hunter. He’s a little punk sometimes especially if him and Julien are left unattended.

In terms of physical size, Torie is only 5′2″ and pretty much a little pixie. In terms of how they hold themselves though, probably Carter, who has a tendency to fold in on himself quite a bit and tries to make himself rather unseen, on top of being quite small for his stature.

Both Alexander and Hunter Clarington are six feet tall. They are tall tall trees boys.

17, but it was during a game of Truth or Dare where everyone in the room was kissed so I don’t consider that to count. Otherwise, I haven’t yet.

I’ve always been told green, but I’ve also been told red.

1.) I have seven nieces and nephews. The oldest one just turned 12 and the youngest will be one in April.2.) One of my nieces and one of my nephews have Brittle Bone Disease. We call them the breakable ones. They call themselves the breakable ones.3.) I have the same initials and middle name as my momma. 

Allium: What’s the best thing you can cook?

Honestly, anything that has the word ‘garlic’ in the title. I’m a better baker than I am a cook, though.

I don’t know? Probably not, but there are parts of my appearance that I would hope they either do or do not inherit, if that makes sense. Like they can have my hand shape but I ain’t about to curse a child with my nose and small eyes.

I don’t know if it counts as a holiday dish, but every year for Christmas my mom would make this egg casserole thing with sausage and mushrooms and cheese, and we had it with cinnamon rolls and it was the only time a year we had it and it was delicious.

I’m not going to say no but I’m not going to say yes either.

I don’t know that I would. Right now, I don’t eat red meat or fish and I’m looking to switch over to cruelty free and vegan makeup products but I dunno that I’d ever have the willpower to go full vegan.

I’ve only flown once (twice, if you count going there and then coming back) and I hated it. It makes me very nervous.

Hibiscus: Did you ever play an instrument? If so what?

I did, I played the flute for about a year during sixth grade but my lung capacity sucked and it physically hurt to try and keep up so I had to quit. Then I took up piano when I was like 15 and learned off and on. I can still play some simple things. I sing too, for what that counts.

Zinnia: Who was your best friend when you were six years old?

I don’t remember, but I feel like her name was Amber, and we became friends because we were both the only girls in our first grade class who were invited to a particular birthday party. The kid’s name was Cody and he was like the “heartthrob’ of our class so ofc we thought we were cool because he only invited us. We played with his sister’s barbies. I’m pretty sure she moved.

★ childhood headcanon for angelhubs

Hunter has been a storyteller for much longer than he’s been a writer. Of course, the only difference is between him speaking his stories and actually writing them down. Anyone who knew him as a child will say he’s been telling tales and stories since he was about four years old. One of his earliest memories is of sitting on a swing at a playground, not very far from the base his father had been stationed at at the time, with a small group of like-aged kids seated around him while he told some story he’d made up (he doesn’t remember what it is now, but his brother will swear up and down it was about pirates trying to take down Godzilla.) It wasn’t until he was in the first or second grade, when he actually learned to write in sentences, that he started to put these stories into words. Even then, he doesn’t consider himself to have started “writing” in the sense that he knows it until his early teens. Still, he does remember the stories he used to tell - to children on base and at school, to his brother when neither of them could fall asleep at bed time, to his parents during long car rides where he couldn’t sit still. They’re the same stories his adult brain will later pick over and refine (or as much as he can refine - they were pretty good stories, if he may say so himself) and tell to his children and godson whenever they ask.
