DnD Classes Dragon Edition: The Paladin ———— Good Evening Folks :D Finally, I finished another dnd class entry and it’s the paladin! I had so much fun to do its design. Especially his clothing and armor. Also the dragon paladin is my favourite of the 3 dragons. I don’t know why if it’s just his outfit or the pose in general. The lil dragon just looks very serious and bold. Like ready to fight for his oath. I will definitely make a sticker or a pin out of it in the future. Anyway.. Which class should I do next? Let me know in the comments :D.

Most readers who are stuck on Historical Fiction know the name Ken Follett. He wrote one of the best novels about the Middle Ages in recent memory, Pillars of the Earth. The sickbay was filled with the scent of sickness and blood, asmell that stitched, stitched, stitched like needles into Mars nosealmost painfully. It was a smell that made Mar realize where she was as her vision was blurred and her mind slipped into darkness and back without her having any control of it. It was the smell that made her realize that she was still alive as she no longer felt any pain. It was the smell that made the Halforcs guts turn and maybe she even would have vomited if her guts wouldn´t be thepart of her that lay tattered like red rags.The blurred mess of colours that was the world around Mar in the sickbay moved around her endlessly, never resting, never stopping and whenever she had enough strenght to open her eyes she was greeted by this whilrwind of colours and movemenmts. It was at auch a moment, when the young woman had forced her eyelids that were as heavy as stone, open again, when she saw a familiar shape move towards her, blurred, but still recognizeable by the colour of his hair and the shade of gold of his glowing eyes. Her eyelids became heavier and heavier with every moment, but Mar focused all her willpower to keep her eyes open and watch a golden shimmer, like focused sunlight wash around thePaladins hands.The bloody rags that were her guts were wrapped in the warmth of sunlight and started to weave themself back together, slowly healing, slowly starting to be felt again, slowly beeing covered with freckled skin again.  The Paladin did not stopped. 

The magic, warm like sunlight, bright like gold, continued to heal. It burned now, smoldeirng the flesh beneath as the scars continued to grow, move up, cover her stomach completly. The Paladin did not stopped.The Halforcs flesh continued to weave itself back together, bulge out of the scarpattern in big throbbing bubbles, creep over her stomach, her chest, her throat, close around her neck like a brutal hand and squeezed,                                                   

                                                       squeezed, 

                                                              squeezed. 

Mars hands had grabbed for her throat when she woke up, surpressing a cry.

Panicky, frantically she ripped her hands form her neck and grabbed for the edge of her tunic to pull it up and grab for her stomach to feel if there was something- anything!- that could have grown, moved, grab for her throat like a brutal hand. Her stomach was cold from sweat, no scar, no movement, no growing flesh. “Its fine…”, the young woman gasped, breathed, whimpered asshe felt tears ran down the sides of her face,  burning lines inher feverish skin like acid. She was trembling, her hands and legswere shaking so horrible, it was hard for her to control them enoughto pull down her with icy sweat drenched tunic: “Itsfine…its fine..its fine…”Noone answered her quiet whisper,the sickbay was quiet and empty, left forgotten in this latemidnighthour. “..its fine..its fine…”, the young womanwhispered to herself and felt as if her bed was a lost iselandforgotten in the sea that was the still darkness around her, alonewith her shaking limbs, alone with the tears that would not stoprunning down her face and alone with her useless whispers.

jaune will get an ability connected to the god of light after falling into the remnant of god of lights fountain

I think jaune will end up gaining an ability associated/connected to the god of light and taking a dip into the fountain of life and creation and receive a blessing in contrast to salems curse ( possibly after refusing a offer to bring pyrrha back )

what if jaune does get burned and in order to save his life he is put into the fountain of life and creation

after all joan of arcs ashes were put into a river ( he doesnt even have to have been injured he just has to make contact with the fountain ( oh and joan of arc as a catholic was baptised which comes in various forms including full immersion or sprinkling on her head

while water is painful for the wicked witch 

to further the contrast of jaune receiving a blessing connected to the god of light through the fountain while salem received a curse

I think jaune will come into contact with the fountain of life and gain a power of the god of light ( some people think that in order for salem to die we must teach her the importance of life and death which is the condition that the GOL put ) but given how long she lived it quite possibly hardened her heart so she will never understand even if she is purified what if jaune gains the power to get rid of the GOLs curse or negate it ( so that he would be the only one to be able to kill salem) given that ruby has a power to trump what she got from the grimm pools jaune would trump the curse she unwillingly got from the god of light I mean jaune is a paladin

and one of the roles in rpg games is the paladin whose a holy knight with holy weaponry  and can nullify CURSES and has magic includes healing people and amplifying their abilities and can do this to himself

He’s got armor, a sword, and a shield, plus healing abilities. He’s also developed something of a self-sacrificing mindset. which fits him being a paladin

and rwby takes alot from rpgs (so it would be fitting for jaune to be able to undo the curse or have an ability that relates to it like how rubys silver eyes to the grimm part where he can kill salem after all knights typically hunt witches and salem was first shown trying to kill herself with a sword

and given that salem is based on the wicked witch of the west who had a missing eye what if jaune causes her to lose an eye (though its possible that crwby decided to give the missing eye to cinder instead

and as a result of the effect of the god of lights powers jaunes eyes sometimes turn glowing golden like what happens when ozpin takes over which I think is a result of the god of light being the one to cause the perpetual reincarnation

maybe jaune will gain a resistance to magic ( due to gaining the god of lights power and magic coming from the god of darkness ( the dark god out right says that magic was his gift) @falling-red-petals @destincrowno

I have a suggestion for a story, during a battle with the glara nearby earth, the paladins crashed land nearby the garrison, and get captured and interrogated by iverson. Once thepaladins are deemed trustworthy, they finded out that the garrison have been working on their own version of voltron (vehicle voltron). They also meet the team that pilots the garrison voltron. ( I would really liked to see the interactions between the characters, because they have so much conflict between them)

You sound like you have this quite flushed out yourself. *You* should write it!

It definitely sounds interesting but not quite what I would find myself writing. I tend to avoid large amounts of original characters and when I do include them tend to focus on just one or two in a story to flush out and this idea would definitely have a whole barrel of them :p
