hi lizzie, i just love your writing!! thank you for keeping us well fed! if you haven’t already, could you possibly write soft!rafe taking care of drunk reader? maybe it’s early into their relationship & this is the first time she’s seeing a softer side of him & maybe she’s a little embarrassed having to be taken care of but also secretly loves it!! 🙂↕️🙂↕️🙂↕️
she/her, mid 20’s, maybe not rafe’s typical skinny blonde model type 🧎♀️
thank you, sweet angel! i hope you enjoy your fic!✨
the night had started out innocently enough. kie’s birthday party was in full swing, her backyard strung with twinkling fairy lights and filled with the sounds of music, laughter, and the clinking of glasses. you weren’t much of a drinker, but tonight felt like an exception. kie had insisted you try her signature cocktail—something fruity and deceptively strong—and from there, the drinks had kept coming.
you’d been having a great time—kie and her friends always threw the best parties, and tonight was no exception. you’d been having a great time—a little too great of a time.
by midnight, you were feeling… light. maybe a little too light. your cheeks felt hot, your laugh was louder than usual, and walking in a straight line felt like a fun challenge. it wasn’t until the party started winding down that you realized you might have overdone it.
you leaned against the kitchen counter, your phone in hand, squinting at the screen. it was late, but you figured your parents wouldn’t mind a quick call to pick you up. the idea of stumbling into an uber with a stranger was less appealing now that the alcohol was hitting way harder than you anticipated. you dialed their number, listening to the rings, only to be met with a voicemail.
you frowned, dialing once more. still no answer.
then a text pinged through: "at a business party tonight. won’t be able to answer—call us tomorrow. we love you!"
you sighed, your thumb hovering over the screen. the party was getting just a bit too chaotic for your liking now, and the thought of getting some fresh air sounded amazing. it wasn’t like you lived far, anyway. ten minutes tops, you thought to yourself, tugging your jacket tighter around your shoulders.
“leaving already?” kiara asked, catching you by the door. her smile was bright.
“yeah, just tired,” you said, waving it off with a lopsided grin. “i’ll be fine. it’s a quick walk.”
she nodded, “text me when you’re home, okay?”
you nodded, giving her a thumbs-up before slipping out into the cool night air.
the silence outside was a welcome contrast to the noise you’d left behind. the streets were dimly lit, but familiar. you shoved your hands in your pockets and started down the sidewalk, humming softly to yourself, the buzz of the alcohol making everything seem a little less real.
the soft rumble of an engine broke the quiet night, the glow of headlights sweeping over the sidewalk as a familiar black SUV slowed down beside you. you glanced up, squinting against the light, and your heart skipped when the window rolled down to reveal rafe leaning slightly toward the passenger side.
“what the hell are you doing out here?” his voice was sharp, cutting through the stillness of the street. his brows were furrowed, a mix of confusion and something else—concern? “i thought your parents were coming to get you.”
you stopped, suddenly hyperaware of your slightly unsteady stance on the pavement. “they couldn’t,” you slurred, waving your hand dismissively. “they’re at some work thing. it’s just a ten-minute wa—i’ll be... fine.”
his jaw tightened, the muscle there twitching. “fine? you’re drunk, walking home by yourself in the middle of the night. do you even hear yourself right now?”
you opened your mouth to respond, but before you could, rafe leaned across and pushed the passenger door open. “get in. now.”
there was no arguing with the tone of his voice, not that you were in much of a position to resist. you hesitated for half a second before climbing into the seat, the leather cool against your legs. he waited until you were buckled in before pulling away from the curb, the tension in the car palpable.
the silence stretched for a moment before he spoke again, his voice low but firm. “next time, call me. don’t ever do that again. don’t walk home alone when you’ve been drinking.”
you blinked at him, your head still spinning a little from the alcohol. “rafe, it’s the outer banks, have you seen this island? t-there’s, like... no crime here. ever.”
he glanced at you, his lips pressing into a tight line. “i don’t care. what if something happened to you? what if you tripped, or someone—” he cut himself off, shaking his head as if the thought itself was unbearable. “just call me, okay? no excuses. i don’t care what time it is or where you are. i’ll come get you.”
something in his tone made your chest tighten, the weight of his words sinking in. he wasn’t just scolding you—he meant it.
“okay,” you said softly, your voice barely above a whisper.
“good.” he glanced at you again, his features softening just a fraction. “because i don’t want to find you wandering around in the dark again. got it?”
“got it,” you murmured, biting back a smile as you sank into the seat.
the air in the car was thick with unspoken words, the quiet punctuated only by the soft hum of the engine and the occasional sound of rafe’s fingers tapping against the steering wheel. normally, rafe exuded this effortless, untouchable cool—sarcastic remarks, teasing smirks, and that air of confidence he wore like a second skin.
but tonight, something was different.
he wasn’t making jokes. he wasn’t brushing anything off. he looked serious, his jaw tight and his gaze focused on the road ahead as his hands gripped the wheel a little harder than necessary.
you stole a glance at him from the corner of your eye, your head leaning against the window. even with your buzzed haze, you could tell this wasn’t the rafe you were used to. this was… softer. more vulnerable, maybe.
when you noticed he wasn’t driving toward your place, your brow furrowed. “i don’t think this is the way to my house.”
“i know, baby,” he replied, his tone leaving no room for argument. “you’re not sleeping alone tonight. it’s not safe. you’re coming to mine.”
your mouth opened, but no sound came out. you hadn’t expected that. “rafe, i’m fine—”
“don’t,” he cut you off, glancing at you with a raised brow. “don’t argue. you’ve had too much to drink, you’re not thinking straight, and i’m not dropping you off so you’re home by yourself.”
“end of story.”
you stared at him, the weight of his words settling in your chest. he didn’t sound annoyed or inconvenienced. he sounded… protective. like he cared more than you ever thought he would. it was such a stark contrast to the laid-back rafe you’d come to know that it left you momentarily speechless.
as he turned into the long driveway leading to his family’s sprawling house, you let out a breath you hadn’t realized you were holding.
“come on,” he said gently, holding out a hand to help you. “let’s get you inside.”
he led you upstairs with quiet confidence, his hand hovering near your back as if ready to steady you at any moment. the house was quiet, the distant hum of the air conditioning the only sound apart from your slightly uneven steps. when you entered his room, you hesitated, looking around the surprisingly clean space.
“sit,” he said gently, motioning to the edge of his bed. you obeyed, sinking into the soft comforter, and watched as he disappeared into the bathroom.
he came back a moment later with a cotton pad, a bottle of makeup remover, and a damp washcloth. “sarah leaves her stuff everywhere,” he said with a faint smirk, kneeling in front of you. “you can use this to take your makeup off. trust me, you don’t want to sleep in it.”
you blinked at him, surprised. “you… know about makeup remover?”
rafe gave a small shrug. “sarah’s made me her go-to errand boy enough times. i pick up things.” his voice was casual, but the way he handed you the cotton pad was almost… delicate, making you smile.
you swiped the pad across your face, your movements slow but steady, while rafe stayed there, crouched in front of you like he was waiting to catch you if you suddenly tipped over. when you were done, he handed you a glass of water and a toothbrush, his blue eyes meeting yours with quiet insistence. “drink all of this, and brush your teeth. trust me, you’ll thank me tomorrow.”
after finishing in the bathroom, you came back to find a neatly folded T-shirt and sweatpants sitting on the bed.
“you can change into these,” he said, standing a little awkwardly near the door. “they’ll be more comfortable than whatever you’re wearing.”
“thanks,” you said softly, picking up the clothes.
but when you tried to slip the his sweatpants on, your buzzed coordination made it nearly impossible. you fumbled, the fabric tangling around your legs as you tried to balance on one foot. “ugh,” you huffed in frustration.
rafe turned at the sound, his brows furrowing. “need help?”
you hesitated, your cheeks flushing. “uh, i think so,” you admitted quietly, feeling embarrassment creep up your spine.
he nodded, stepping closer, his expression careful and respectful. “okay,” he said simply, kneeling down. “just… hold on to my shoulder, and i’ll help you with these. don’t worry—i’m not looking.”
true to his word, he kept his eyes down, focusing only on pulling the sweatpants over your legs as you wobbled slightly, your hand gripping his shoulder for balance. his touch was steady and deliberate, not lingering even a second longer than necessary.
when he was done, he stood and stepped back, giving you space. “there,” he said, his voice softer now. “all set.”
“thanks,” you murmured, tugging at the hem of the shirt you were now wearing. it hung on you like a dress, the faint scent of cedar and something clean wrapping around you.
“you should lie down,” he said, pulling back the covers on his bed.
you blinked at him. “where are you sleeping?”
“i’ll, uh... take the couch,” he said automatically, but the words didn’t feel as confident as the rest of him.
“rafe,” you said, your voice a little steadier now. “this bed is huge. there’s plenty of space for both of us.”
his brows lifted slightly, and for a second, he looked like he might argue. but then he nodded, his jaw relaxing as he grabbed a pillow and placed it on the opposite side of the bed. “okay,” he said, his voice dropping to something quieter. “but don’t hog the covers.”
you laughed softly, slipping under the blanket as he did the same. The space between you felt safe—close enough to feel his warmth but far enough to respect boundaries.
as you settled in, you turned your head toward him. “hey?”
“yeah?” he replied, his voice low in the dark.
“thank you,” you whispered.
for a moment, he didn’t say anything. then his voice came, soft and genuine. “anytime.”
And with that, the quiet comfort of his presence lulled you to sleep, leaving you with the lingering thought that this side of rafe was something you could get used to.

First Impressions
Jessie Fleming x Reader
Summary: Varsity athletes are all the same. They aren't interested in a real relationship or connection. And Jessie Fleming - you've heard about her - she's no exception. But maybe, just maybe, first impressions aren't everything.
Warnings: Suggestive language, but nothing overly explicit.
A/N: I've gotten a few requests for frat boy Jessie. This is my version of that. Out of character (OOC) Jessie. From my perspective anyway lol. But hopefully it’s entertaining!
“Oh, sorry.”
“Sorry.”
You retracted your hand after reaching for a bottle of liquor at the same time as someone else and they did the same.
“Go ahead,” you offered with a nod to the bottle and the girl offered you a smile in return.
“Thanks. Here - I’ll make you your drink. What were you wanting?”
“No, it’s fine. I’ll make mine after,” you dismissed as you stepped back.
The girl gave you a teasing frown before giving you a quick once over that caused you to avert your gaze and cross your arms. She chuckled.
“Please. Let me make you a drink. It’s the least I can do for accidentally cutting in line,” she offered once more.
While you’d felt neutral about the whole exchange initially, now you felt irritation starting to brim. Between this brunette’s charming smile and varsity athletic gear, you really didn’t need to know more. They were all like this. They were all the same.
Unfortunately, one of your friends was now dating a member of the Bruins soccer team and, despite all odds, you found yourself tip-toeing into this world you'd heard all about and really had no interest in.
You rolled your eyes.
“Fine,” you relinquished flatly with a tired sigh. “Vodka cran.”
“Fancy,” she said simply with a smirk as she turned her back to you and made the drink.
You rolled your eyes once more though she couldn’t see you this time. You mustered up a stiff smile as she turned back around holding out the drink for you.
“Thanks,” you offered plainly and was about to turn to leave when she interjected.
“Hey, I haven’t seen you at one of Teagan’s parties before,” she commented lightly as she began to fix her own drink. “Who’d you come with tonight?”
You arched an eyebrow. “No. First time. And I’m friends with Mel.”
The girl frowned in thought for a moment as she took a sip of her drink. “Oh - [teammate’s] new girlfriend! Got it. Alright, cool. Well, welcome. Teagan’s winter break parties are the best,” she finished with a smile before extending her hand. “I’m Jessie.”
Jessie? Jessie Fleming, likely. So this is the famous captain of the Bruins. She’d heard about her through Mel. And seeing her now, all the stories and rumours made sense.
There she stood before you, smiling sweetly and acting so polite. And with that curly hair, those freckles and those eyes, she seemed perfectly nice, perfectly harmless. But you’d also heard of the girls she’d won over with her innocent charm and left in her wake.
You smirked as you took her hand.
“Y/N.”
She smiled wider, eyes travelling discretely once more and you retracted your hand as you lifted your eyebrows at her.
“Thanks for the drink, Jessie. Have a good night,” you said politely with a smile as you turned on your heel, admittedly enjoying the subtle flash of surprise on her face at your departure.
——————
A new semester started and you sat down in the one of the front rows of a class. You were opening your laptop when someone sat down in the seat next to yours. You paid them no mind until they spoke.
“I thought that might be you.”
A frown of confusion immediately crossed your face as you turned towards the voice.
“Jessie?” You asked, your tone not remotely veiling your surprise. She laughed good naturedly as she pulled out her own laptop.
“So you do remember me. You were in such a rush to leave I thought you’d forgotten our introduction,” she teased with a smile.
You rolled your eyes immediately and huffed. “I was not in a rush. We finished our introductions and that was that.”
“We exchanged names,” she said in mock contemplation before giving you a look. “I suppose that’s an introduction.”
You shrugged lightly returning your attention to the front of the class. “Suppose so.” You heard her snicker as she began prepping for class.
You couldn’t quite help yourself as you spied on the various lecture documents and notebooks she had pulled up.
“I didn’t take you for an environmental studies kind of person,” you said. This time she gave you a frown.
“Why? I wish I could take more of these courses actually,” she countered.
You blushed, feeling a bit foolish now. “I don’t know,” you mumbled as you tried to choose your words carefully. “I guess I’ve just seen, you know, other people, not have much interest in this kind of thing.”
She smirked. “By people’ do you mean jocks? AKA,” she paused to shift in her seat to face you more directly, “elite level athletes who, despite stereotypes, have to maintain a particular academic performance to remain on said teams and can actually be fully developed individuals with interests and passions outside of sports?”
You gave her a withering stare, but hated to acknowledge the way your cheeks burned under her scrutiny.
“I recognize that,” you said pointedly before turning up your nose at her. “But yes. That’s mostly what I meant,” you said facetiously.
To your surprise she laughed, sitting back in her seat once more.
“Well. You’re not entirely wrong. Stereotypes are stereotypes for a reason,” she acquiesced mildly. “But I, for one, don’t like being painted that way,” she said, mimicking your tone and demeanour. You had to laugh.
“Touché,” you relented. “So,” you started slowly, finding yourself fidgeting for some reason. “What is your major, then?”
“Materials Engineering,” she responded easily, not even bothering to make eye contact. “And considering a minor in environmental studies if I can make it work.”
“Oh,” you said, taken aback. You didn’t see that one coming.
“And you?” She asked, now looking over.
It took you a beat but you gestured vaguely to the front of the room. “Environmental studies.”
She smiled and gave you a nod before focusing on her screen momentarily. “It’s important work. Do you know what you want to do for a career?”
“Um. Government work - hopefully influencing policy,” you answered somewhat slowly, still processing that you were having this vein of conversation with Jessie. You nearly shook your head as you refocused. “What about you? I mean. I’m guessing you’re going to go pro?”
“That’s the hope,” she said as she turned to you. “But I know I’ll have a life and career after soccer. That’s really important to me. So I’m looking to find something that allows me to help promote sustainability in some way.”
Okay. You really didn’t expect this. The Jessie you’d heard about was not the Jessie you were actively conversing with. You were really having trouble reconciling the two images.
You had another question on the tip of your tongue but the professor began her lecture.
You couldn’t help but notice how attentive Jessie was throughout class and how thorough her notes were. Maybe there really was more to her than all of the team antics.
Still, academically-minded or not, the very real fact is that she was very casual with girls. That was not the kind of situation you wanted to get entangled in. She just wasn't your type.
Class ended and you were about to close your laptop when she reached across and started typing on your computer.
“My number. In case you want to talk about the readings or assignment,” she said simply as she began packing up. She stood and offered you another charming smile. “It was really good to see you again and to get to know you better.” She slung her bag over her shoulder and gave you a wink. “Same time next week? See ya.”
——————
“Hey, want to study together for the mid-term?”
You paused your movements as you turned to Jessie at her question. If she noticed your hesitation, she didn’t acknowledge it and merely continued packing up her things.
“I guess…,” you offered slowly.
You felt conflicted. She’d sat next to you each class and despite yourself you actually found yourself looking forward to seeing her. You didn’t even want to admit it to yourself but you’d started showing up earlier for class in case she did too and you could talk longer. You'd even started walking to your next classes together or grabbing a coffee in between.
This was dangerous territory.
She chuckled and gave you a sidelong glance.
“You don’t have to. I just thought we could.” She crossed her arms as she stood and gave you a smirk. “I was hoping by now I’d proved that I actually have a brain. I was also hoping, heaven forbid, that we might even be friends.”
You clicked your tongue as you stood, giving her a chiding stare. “Study buddies,” you said with a smirk of your own before going on facetiously. “Friends is really pushing it.”
She held up her hands in jest. “My apologies.”
“Yes, let’s study together,” you clarified, giving her a slight nudge with your shoulder and she beamed at you.
“And hey, bonus, practices start up next week. Even practices can be a lot of fun to watch. It’s a good time and we go out after. You should come. Support your new study buddy,” she finished with a grin.
“Mm that’s quite alright,” you said with a playful smirk. “Soccer’s not my thing. As you know.”
Jessie exhaled and placed her hands on her hips. You inadvertently looked away.
“Fine. Don’t come for the full thing. Just join us after. Won't Mel be there?” She asked. You shrugged a shoulder.
"I'm not sure," you replied patiently. "I haven't exactly asked."
She tilted her head as she gave a winning smile. “I’ll buy you a drink.”
“Yeah?” You asked in jokingly flirtatious matter. “And for how many other girls?” You couldn’t help but ask.
Her expression faltered briefly before she subtly narrowed her eyes, something dawning on her.
“Oh. I see. Well, I can’t say other girls are my study buddy,” she said with a sly grin before dropping it. “No. Seriously. I feel like we’ve had some very good conversations. I-,” she paused, blushing lightly now, “don’t talk to a lot of girls outside of the football world. It’s been really nice and different talking about real matters and serious things. I like it.”
You felt your cheeks heating up and you forced an eye roll while you folded your arms against your chest.
"Yeah, I'll bet," you teased.
"Come on," she coaxed. "Admit it. You like me at least a tiny bit." She tacked on quickly and placatingly, "As a friend."
You chuckled giving your head a light shake. "Sure," you relented as you cracked a crooked smile. "You're alright."
She made a fist a gave a single pump of her arm jokingly with a mouthed "Yes". She offered a playful grin. "I knew it."
"Oh my gosh," you said as you gave her a light shove and you two began to exit the lecture hall. "Now I'm definitely not coming."
----------
"You made it," Jessie said, freshly showered and with a bright smile as you walked down the bleachers to greet her at the sidelines.
"Don't get too carried away," you replied dryly. "I only got here 5 minutes before the final whistle. I didn't exactly see this skillful mastery everyone seems to rave about."
"There'll be lots of other times for that," she replied without missing a beat as she poised an elbow on the barrier and rest her chin in her hand.
"Uh huh," you went on flatly. "That's not presumptuous at all."
"Did you see my freekick goal at the end there?" She asked, again undeterred.
"I don't know what a freekick is, but I saw you score, yes," you went on allowing the faintest smirk as you recalled her waving to you as she jogged over to take the kick. You smirked further. "How many points do you get for a goal?"
Her face dropped and her arms fell to her sides as she looked at you in dismay. "You're just messing with me now." You laughed.
"Maybe. It's kind of fun." She smiled at your comment and you had to stop yourself from smiling too much in return. You cleared your throat and looked away briefly. She was still smiling at you when you looked back.
"Ready to go?"
Your stomach flipped over and over as you two caught up with the rest of the group on the walk over to a nearby bar. You were nervous - she made you nervous. In good ways and bad and you questioned yourself on if you should be here, but yet your feet carried you forward and your eyes found her throughout the night anytime she wasn't next to you.
So much for keeping your distance.
The drinks flowed and though Mel was there and you made a point of not staying too focused on Jessie, you might have to admit you weren't entirely successful.
"Here - and with some water this time, too. You should try to stay hydrated," she said as she returned with another refill for you.
"How thoughtful." You meant to say it sarcastically, but it didn't quite come out that way. She merely winked and took a sip of her drink.
You must be drunk because that stupid wink was enough to disarm you even further. A part of you tried to coach yourself into biting your tongue, but instead you spoke your mind.
"What are you doing?" You asked, spurring a perplexed expression from her. She took another sip.
"What do you mean?"
"What are you doing?" You asked as if it was entirely obvious. "I saw your little fan club at practice. I saw that girl chatting you up at the bar. Why are you here talking to me?" You went on putting on an air of both teasing and indifference.
She arched an eyebrow, holding your gaze and you had to steel yourself to not look away.
"Sounds like you're watching me pretty closely," she relayed with a similar nonchalance and you immediately scoffed.
"Don't deflect. I'm just curious," you said lightly with a shrug and a swig. "Mel's in this world now, so I've heard stories about you, Fleming," you finished as you set down your drink and leaned back, waiting expectantly and rather smugly.
This time Jessie was the one to scoff. "Yeah? Like what."
You didn't flinch or shy away, instead leaning in. "Oh you know, just about the girls you don't text back."
Her freckled cheeks started to turn pink and she broke your gaze momentarily, leaving you feeling vindicated.
She opened her mouth to speak, but paused and shrugged a second later instead.
"I won't lie. Yes...first year here things were a little...eventful. It was my first year away from home, living this new life, a fresh start where I could build whatever personality I wanted. And I had fun with that. But things are less so like that now." She held up her index finger. "And, I need to point out, that I don't make promises. I think I'm pretty clear that things are casual."
You digested her words and eventually gave a nod before taking another measured sip.
"Okay. Fair enough. So casual's all you're into then."
"No," she answered easily with a slight shake of her head. "That's all I was interested in before. There wasn't anyone I wanted to actually date. And, honestly, that's easiest with my schedule. But," she gave a light shrug, "if the right girl came along, I could commit."
You felt a smile forming and tried to hold back a laugh, but failed. She shot you an offended look and you waved in apology.
"Sorry. It's just kind of funny. You 'could' commit. Okay," you snickered a bit more as you took another sip. A hint of regret washed over you at the hurt expression on her face.
"I'm being serious here," she said. "And you asked me why I'm talking to you instead of those other girls. Because. I want to talk to you. I'm interested in you. And 'no' - because I know you're going to make a comment about it - this is not what it was like with the other girls. We've actually talked and I genuinely like you and want to know you better. And for the record - I actually hate studying with other people. I find it distracting and it slows me down, but I respect how smart you are and I love hearing you talk about things you're passionate about and I want to spend more time with you."
The rim of your glass was held poised at your lips as you blinked at her. You abandoned your drink, setting it down on the coaster before leaning forward, folding your arms across the top of your legs.
"Okay. I'm sorry. I hear you," you said, humbled by her declaration and feeling guilty about judging her the way you had.
She gave a quiet sigh and took a sip of her drink.
"It's okay," she went on quietly. "It's not your fault. You didn't create this reputation. I'm sorry," she went on. "That was a bit much."
"No. I'm glad you were honest. Thank you," you corrected her.
You two sat silently together, the din of the busy bar a continuous rumbling around you before you spoke once more.
"I am sorry, Jess. I judged you and I shouldn't have. And I've been holding onto that image of you even though, you're right, our conversations have relayed otherwise," you said.
"Thanks," she said with a soft smile before she turned her attention to her glass, swirling the remainder of her drink. She looked back up after a moment. "And, you know, hopefully we can still be friends. Oh wait," she paused with a teasing eyeroll, "sorry. Study buddies. Totally understand if you're not interested in something more."
You smirked and nudged her knee with yours. "We can be friends," you returned her eyeroll and spoke as though the offer was a great sacrifice. You smiled as she laughed warmly. She drained her drink and held out her hand to you.
"Friends?"
"Friends," you said as you shook her hand. Admittedly, it took you a couple of seconds too long to drop her hold. Your chest warmed as she smiled at you.
"Hey," you went on as you leaned in a touch. "Do you want to get out of here?"
She gave you a blank stare and it took her a beat to reply before she gave a shake of her head. "Yeah. Course. Let's go." She rose from her chair and offered you her hand. You took it.
Conversation was quieter between you two than normal as you walked back towards the dorms, but it was comfortable and easy all things considered. Any tension you were feeling right now was a kind you'd been too afraid to acknowledge previously.
"Your dorm's the other way," you said as Jessie walked past her turn alongside you.
"I know. I'll walk you back to your dorm," she replied easily and gave a nod of her head, urging you to continue walking with her.
Soon enough you were at your door, the two of you facing one another.
"Well, I'm glad you came out tonight," she said with a hint of a smirk. You mirrored it.
"Yeah. Me too," you agreed. "It was nice." A beat passed and you said in a rush, "Hey, are you busy this weekend?"
"Mm, I'm doing a few things with Teags, Mia and the crew, but, yeah, I have time. Did you...have something in mind?"
Your gaze shifted away and you felt your face begin to heat up. "Oh I don't know. I was just thinking if you're bored maybe we could, I don't know. Do something."
A smile grew across Jessie's face and she looked at you unwaveringly despite the way your gaze flit around the hallway.
"I'd love to do something. And not because I'm bored," she chuckled. "Can I take you out to dinner? Or is that too much."
You scratched the back of your neck distractedly, tucking one hand behind your back. "Oh, no, that's fine. Sounds good."
"Okay," Jessie chuckled. "We can go to that Mediterranean place you wanted to check out."
You gave a pointed nod of your head. "Ah. You were listening and paying attention."
"Of course," she laughed. She gave a half smile and held up her index fingers as though something just came to mind. "Oh. And, me and the girls are gonna play a pickup game Sunday morning and grab lunch after. It'd be cool if you came."
"Cool, huh?" You smirked and she rolled her eyes.
"I'd like it if you came," she corrected with a lopsided grin.
You sighed as though the request was a chore. "I suppose I have a few things to learn about soccer. Watching a game might help."
Jessie laughed. "If you think I talk your ear off about engineering and sustainability, just wait 'til you get me talking about soccer."
"Can't wait," you said without your usual sarcasm and with a quiet smile instead.
A beat passed and the tension between you was high. You rose onto the balls of your feet briefly before dropping back down. "Well, good night, then. Thanks for walking me home."
"Happy to," she said.
You pulled each other in for a hug and whether it was the liquid courage or something more, you found your hand weaving through her hair. She held you close and neither of you pulled back right away. And when you did, your cheeks brushed and it was only far enough for you to look at each other, seeking silent approval from one another before you captured her lips in a kiss.
All of your hesitation and careful control went straight out the window and soon your hands were wandering and exploring her body, as were her hands on you. Before you knew it, you were pulling her with you so your back was against the door and your kisses grew heavier and deeper.
Your core pulsed with want and you could feel arousal starting to pool in the fabric of your underwear as you both subtly ground against one another. The one shred of restraint left in you couldn't believe you were honestly contemplating inviting her in. Thankfully, she spared you the rashness as she broke off the kiss, resting her forehead against yours as you both caught your breath.
She chuckled with a smile. "Right. I said I was going to go." You bit your lip, your eyes trailing down to her mouth that you were craving more of. She kissed you slow before pulling back.
"We can take our time," she promised and it brought you back to your senses.
"Yeah, of course," you agreed, nodding readily. She took a step back, wishing you a good night.
"Text me to let me know you got back safe," you told her. She gave you a shit-eating grin.
"Aww, you care."
"Don't start with me," you warned her though you both laughed. She snuck a quick peck on the cheek.
"Sweet dreams," she said with a wink as she turned around. You watched her retreating form for a few seconds before calling out.
"On a scale of 1-10, how casual is this?"
She turned around with a smile, placing her hands in her pockets and cocking her head.
"How casual do you want it to be?"
Whether it was 'cool' to say it not, you said, "Not very."
Her smile widened and she gave a nod. "'Kay. I can do that. Legitimately though, I am on the road a lot. Is that okay with you?"
"Depends. Do you fuck around on the road?" You asked easily.
"If I'm committed to you? Then 'no'. Hard to believe based on the stories you've heard, but, context is key. To the people I care about - I'm really loyal. Ask anyone who knows me. They'll tell you," she said.
"'Kay," you said, ignoring how you toed the hallway floor like some silly school girl. "Don't break my trust Fleming and we'll be good."
She winked and began to turn on her heel. "See you in class tomorrow."
A/N: I was going to write this as smut, but it became too long! I definitely have a vision for Part Two (I.e. smut) in this story if there’s interest though.

・❥・a/n: part 2?
It had been there for a while, that nagging feeling in the pit of her stomach. It wasn’t particularly one thing that made her feel like that. It was everything.
After her semester was over and she had a break for a few months, she expected herself to go out and enjoy herself. But now halfway through this vacation all she did was sit at home, away from everyone.
Not on purpose though, all she wanted to do was be around her loved ones. But it seemed like the feeling wasn’t mutual. Her friends, who had been there with her through her whole life, almost seem like a distant memory now.
All she sees is pictures of them all together, hangouts that are hidden from her, an invitation never sent her way.
And Pau. Oh Pau. He was always her person, even before they started dating, he was the only person who was with her all the way.
But something changed. The phone calls started getting shorter and the messages she sent were left with no replies. She didn’t understand what had happened. It was like he was slowly pulling away and she didn’t even have the courage to ask him about it, afraid she might lose him for good.
The day everything went down began like every other day. She always had that little glimpse of hope that she’d wake up to one of Pau’s ‘good morning’ messages, that were a part of her old routine, but again all that hope shattered when she stared at the picture of her and Pau on her lockscreen, no messages, nothing.
The picture now mocked her; how she kept all this foolish hope even after everyone made it clear they didn’t want her around anymore. But she didn’t want to believe it, not now.
She sat on her bed, the house quiet after her parents left for a while, something about a family funeral all the way across Spain.
Usually she loved some quiet, but now it was suffocating. She grabbed her phone from her nightstand, opening her messages app.
She hesitated before opening her friends’ group chat, the one that had been silent for a while, which made her realize that another one exists; one she wasn’t a part of.
Her fingers typed out the message, and before she could reread it, she hit send.
y/n Hey, does anyone maybe wanna go to the mall?
The message was left with no reply for about an hour, with most of the girls seeing it but not replying. She let out a sigh, the hole in her chest deepening as she once again felt invisible to everyone. The hope in her came back when one of the girls started typing.
Isabela I'll go if Gabriela goes
Her heart dropped once again as she read the message. She didn't wanna go for her, she wanted to go if Gabriela went.
Her phone buzzed once again, more messages from the group chat
Gabriela fine I'll go
y/n swallowed the lump that had formed in her throat, forcing herself to type out a response.
y/n cool. let's meet there at 2
She dropped her phone on the bed, already regretting it, but she needed the air outside the house.
It was 2:30, they were late. She had been sitting there just scrolling through Instagram, seeing the recent pictures of Pau in training.
His carefree smile, how he didn't seem to focus on anything besides training, not even her.
“Sorry we're late, we had more important things before,” a voice said, making her look up at the two girls. Though her voice lacked any sign of guilt, y/n smiled and stood up.
“It's fine. where should we go first?” she asked, clutching her bag tighter.
“Isa?” Gabriela turned to the girl who thought for a second before answering.
“We should go to Zara. I've seen some things online that are perfect for tonight's party” she said, before Gabriela nudged her quickly.
y/n's smile faltered, before forcing it back again. Another party she wasn't invited to.
“Let's go,” she mumbled, though the girls had already started to make their way to the shop.
In the store, she felt like a ghost again. The girls were going through the shelves, suggesting clothes for each other, helping each other choose the perfect outfit for tonight.
“I think this color looks good on you” she tried joining the conversation, smiling at Isabela.
The girl gave her a look, before turning to her friend, making y/n's smile fade again.
“Gabriela? What do you think?” she asked, giving her a spin.
Gabriela inspected her dress for a second before shaking her head.
“No, I liked the one before better,” she said. Isabela nodded and went back to the changing room.
y/n opened the door of the house, dropping the keys on the nearby table and rushing to her room.
She thought a day out would make her feel better, but all she felt now was worse, and all she wanted to do was talk to Pau.
He was always the one to make her feel better, and she hoped, just slightly, that he'd answer her and listen to her.
She opened her phone, hesitantly typing a message to Pau before pressing send.
Hey Pau, I had a really bad day and I just wanna talk to you, please
She stared at the message for what felt like an hour, just waiting for something. anything.
After about an hour, she opened her phone again, only for her to see that Pau had seen her message. no reply
That was the last straw. Tears welled up in her eyes quickly, and before she could stop them, they were already falling down her cheeks.
She just wanted to feel visible for someone. She wanted to believe that she wasn’t alone; that someone cared. Her family. Her friends. Pau.

the paths we didn't take (cl16)
part7!
multipart story! part 1 part 2 part 3 part 4 part 5 part 6
Summary : Years ago, Charles Leclerc and Y/N promised to let each other go—for his dreams, for her freedom. No calls, no texts, just memories they buried deep. But when fate reunites them in Monaco, old scars and unresolved feelings resurface. Some loves are unforgettable, but can they find their way back, or is it too late?
✦ pairing - charles leclerc x female reader
Chapter 7: "Unraveled"
Y/N stood by the curb, her arms crossed tightly over her chest, the cool night air doing little to calm the storm inside her. Her thoughts were a chaotic mess, replaying the brief, heart-stopping moment she had locked eyes with Charles. The years apart had done nothing to prepare her for the rush of emotions she felt seeing him again. She blinked back the tears threatening to spill, silently willing her cab to hurry up.
“Y/N!” Lando’s voice called out behind her, his footsteps quick as he caught up. “Hey, where are you going?”
She turned slightly, her composure faltering when she saw the genuine concern etched on his face. “I just... I needed some air,” she muttered, trying to keep her voice steady.
Lando frowned, noticing the glistening tears in her eyes. Without hesitation, he pulled her into a tight hug, wrapping his arms around her as if shielding her from the world. “Hey, hey, what happened? Are you okay?”
Y/N clung to him for a moment, the warmth of his embrace grounding her. She took a shaky breath, her voice barely above a whisper. “I just... I saw him after all these years, and I don’t know how to react.”
Lando pulled back slightly, his hands resting on her shoulders as he studied her face. “You mean Charles?”
She nodded, biting her lip to stop it from trembling. “Yeah. I thought I was over it, you know? But seeing him... it just brought everything back.”
Lando gave her a small, understanding smile, his eyes filled with empathy. “It’s okay. It’s a lot to process. You don’t have to figure it all out right now.”
Y/N shook her head, wiping at her eyes. “I thought I moved on, Lando. I really did. But tonight... it was just so unexpected.”
“You don’t have to explain,” he said softly. “You’ve been through a lot. It’s okay to feel confused.”
As they stood there, Charles leaned against the balcony railing above, watching the scene unfold below. His heart sank as he saw Y/N in Lando’s arms, the way she leaned into him, the way Lando held her with such care. The sight of her tears stirred something deep inside him, but the rational part of his mind told him to let it go.
“She’s moved on,” Charles whispered to himself, a bitter smile tugging at his lips. “She doesn’t care anymore.”
With a deep breath, he turned away from the balcony, shaking his head to clear the lingering confusion. The weight of their history still pressed on him, but he forced himself to focus on the present. If she was fine, if she had someone like Lando by her side, then he had no reason to dwell on the past.
“Time to let it go,” he muttered, heading back into the club, the loud music and flashing lights quickly enveloping him once more.
Outside, Y/N pulled back from Lando, offering him a small, grateful smile. “Thanks for being here.”
“Always,” Lando replied, his voice gentle. “You sure you’re okay?”
“I will be,” she said, nodding. “I just need to get home and clear my head.”
“Alright,” Lando said, giving her one last reassuring squeeze. “Text me when you’re home, okay?”
“I will,” she promised, her voice steadier now. As her cab finally pulled up, she gave him a small wave before slipping inside, leaving the night—and all its unexpected emotions—behind her.
As the cab drove away, Y/N leaned her head against the window, letting out a long sigh. She had seen him, faced the past she thought she had left behind. But now, more than ever, she realized the journey to truly moving on was far from over.
----
A loud knock echoed through Y/N’s apartment, pulling her from the depths of a pounding headache. She groaned, burying her face deeper into her pillow, trying to escape the bright morning light streaming through the window. Another knock, more insistent this time, made her reluctantly sit up.
“Alright, alright, I’m coming!” she muttered, throwing on a hoodie as she stumbled towards the door. As she swung it open, the sight before her made her blink twice.
“Good morning, sunshine!” Lando beamed, holding two steaming cups of coffee, his grin as bright as the sunlight she was trying to avoid. “Figured you could use some caffeine.”
Y/N squinted at him, rubbing her temples. “Lando, it’s barely morning. What are you doing here so early?”
He waltzed in without waiting for an invitation, setting the coffee on the table. “It’s almost noon, you lazy bum. Besides, I thought you’d need this after last night’s little adventure.”
Y/N groaned, flopping onto the couch and pulling a blanket over her head. “I’m officially never drinking again.”
Lando chuckled, sitting on the edge of the couch and nudging her with his elbow. “Oh, come on. You were the life of the party until, well... you know.”
She peeked out from under the blanket, giving him a mock glare. “Don’t remind me.”
“Fair enough,” he said, handing her a cup of coffee. “Here, drink this. It’ll help.”
She took it gratefully, sipping the warm liquid. “Thanks. You’re not so bad for a nosy friend.”
“I aim to please,” he quipped, leaning back with a satisfied smile.
They sat in comfortable silence for a moment before Lando’s expression turned serious. “Actually, I came by for a reason.”
Y/N raised an eyebrow. “Oh? What’s up?”
“Well,” he began, dragging out the suspense with a mischievous grin, “it seems McLaren is interested in working with your business.”
Y/N nearly choked on her coffee. “What? Are you serious?”
Lando laughed at her reaction, nodding. “Completely serious. They want a meeting with you to discuss potential collaborations.”
She stared at him, wide-eyed. “Lando, this is huge! How did this happen?”
He shrugged, trying to downplay his role. “I might have mentioned your work to a few people. They were really impressed.”
Without thinking, Y/N launched herself at him, pulling him into a bear hug. “You’re amazing! Thank you so much!”
Lando laughed, wrapping his arms around her in return. “Hey, hey, easy! You’re going to crush me!”
She pulled back, her face glowing with excitement. “I can’t believe this. I owe you big time.”
“Don’t mention it,” he said, brushing it off with a wave of his hand. “Just promise me one thing.”
“Anything,” she replied eagerly.
“Don’t forget about me when you’re swimming in all that McLaren money,” he teased, winking.
Y/N rolled her eyes, laughing. “I could never forget you, Lando.”
He grinned, standing up and stretching. “Alright, I should get going. But seriously, congrats. You deserve this.”
“Thanks,” she said, her smile softening. “For everything.”
“Anytime,” he replied, heading towards the door. “Now, go get ready. You’ve got a big meeting to prepare for.”
As he left, Y/N sat back down, her mind racing with excitement and possibilities. The hangover was now the least of her worries, replaced by the thrill of a new opportunity—one that she wouldn’t have imagined even in her wildest dreams.

Something we can save
+ pairings. suguru geto x f!reader
+ tags. romance, a lil bit angst, dark romance themes, smut, relationship problembs, depressed Geto
The young woman's eyes darted over the crowded street, her heart racing like it was playing catch-up with the pulse of the city. Her breaths came in short gasps, each one carrying the scent of rain-kissed asphalt and the distant whisper of jasmine. She clutched a small bouquet of flowers, their vibrant colors stark against the muted gray of the evening. The city was a canvas of neon lights and shadows, the buildings stretching tall like sentinels watching over her every move. The rain had stopped, leaving behind a glistening sheen that reflected the hustle and bustle of the night.
With a deep breath, she approached the apartment building, the same one she had visited countless times before. It was a simple place, nestled between a noodle shop and a convenience store, but it had become a sanctuary of sorts for her. She knew the rhythm of its walls, the creak of the stairs, and the comforting silence of the elevator that took her to the fifth floor. The anticipation grew with every step she took, a mix of excitement and dread that coiled in her stomach like a tight spring.
Reaching Suguru's door, she paused, listening for any sign of life within. The quiet was almost deafening, the only sound the distant echo of laughter from the street below. She lifted her hand, feeling the cool metal of the knob beneath her fingertips, and knocked gently. The door swung open almost immediately, revealing him in the dimly lit hallway. His smile was the same, but it didn't quite reach his eyes. It was as if he was holding something back, a secret that painted shadows across his features.
They stepped into the living room, and she placed the bouquet on the coffee table. The room was a mess, with clothes strewn about and empty takeout containers littering the floor. She'd never seen it like this before — usually, it was a testament to his meticulousness, a space so neat it could pass for a magazine spread. The music was too loud, a desperate attempt to fill the void that seemed to have settled between them.
Suguru took her hand, leading her to the bedroom. The walls were plastered with band posters and photos from their past adventures, but they offered no comfort now. The bed was unmade, the sheets tangled like the thoughts in her mind. He kissed her, his touch urgent, as if trying to convince her — and himself — that everything was fine. But she could feel the tremor in his hands, the tension in his embrace. It was like dancing with a storm, trying to ignore the thunder in the background.
Their clothes fell away, a silent symphony of unspoken words. His skin was hot against hers, his breaths shallow and uneven. The room spun around them, a whirlwind of passion and doubt. She closed her eyes, trying to lose herself in the moment, to find the connection they once had. But it was like trying to hold onto a fading dream—just out of reach, slipping away with every beat of her heart.
Suguru kissed her neck, his hands roaming over her body with a hunger that bordered on desperation. She felt his erection pressing against her, insistent and demanding. She parted her legs, letting him enter her with a sigh that was equal parts relief and resignation. The initial feeling of fullness was almost comforting, a sensation she had missed. But as they moved together, the emptiness inside her only grew. It was a hollow embrace, a mimicry of intimacy.
"You feel so good," he murmured against her skin, his voice strained. She bit her lip, not trusting herself to speak. The words felt like a lie on her tongue, a betrayal of what she really felt. She nodded, letting the rhythm of their bodies speak for her. His hands found her breasts, kneading them gently. The friction between them grew, each thrust sending a shiver of something that could almost be mistaken for pleasure through her.
Their eyes locked, and she saw the doubt in his, the fear that she was slipping away. He quickened his pace, trying to hold onto her, to claim her as his. She closed her eyes, focusing on the feeling of him inside her, the way he filled her up and stretched her wide. It was almost enough to push aside the thoughts that plagued her, the whispers that told her this was just going through the motions. But not quite.
They reached their climax together, a crescendo of breaths and moans that echoed in the silence of the room. For a brief moment, she felt alive again, connected to him in the most primal way. But as he collapsed on top of her, his weight pressing her into the mattress, the illusion shattered. They lay there, sweaty and spent, the only sound the harsh rasp of their breathing. He kissed her again, but it was like trying to piece together a broken vase with sticky tape—it held, but the cracks were still there, glaring and unmistakable.
The aftermath was a tapestry of tangled limbs and awkward silence. He rolled off her, his arm draped over her waist. She stared at the ceiling, tracing the patterns of the cracks with her gaze. The room felt smaller, suffocating almost. The smell of their sex lingered in the air, a stark reminder of what they had just shared — or rather, what they had just pretended to share. She swallowed hard, pushing down the lump that threatened to rise in her throat. This wasn't what she had hoped for, but maybe it was all they had left.
Suguru sat up, his back to her, and swung his legs over the side of the bed. He reached for his clothes, pulling them on with jerky, unpracticed movements. Each button, each zipper was a silent declaration that he was retreating into himself again. She watched him, her heart aching with a pain she hadn't felt in a long time. It was like watching someone she knew fade away into a photograph, the colors slowly draining until all that was left was a sad, monochrome version of the man she had once loved.
As he walked towards the kitchen, she couldn't help but admire the strength in his stride, the way his muscles rippled with every step. Despite the weight of his emotions, he carried himself with an air of confidence that was almost palpable. She sat up, the cold air hitting her skin like a slap, and followed him. The floorboards creaked beneath her feet, a mournful tune that seemed to echo their current state. The kitchen was a mess, too — dishes piled in the sink, counters littered with dirty pans and half-eaten food.
He opened the fridge, the light casting a cold, blue glow over his face. She could see the exhaustion etched into every line, the shadows under his eyes like bruises from a fight with reality. He grabbed a beer, popped the cap off, and took a long swig. The sound was almost defiant in the quiet, a declaration of defeat wrapped in a casual gesture. He offered her one without looking, his hand extended blindly behind him. She took it, the cool bottle a stark contrast to the heat still emanating from her body.
The kitchen was a minefield of unspoken words and unanswered questions. She leaned against the counter, the condensation from her beer bottle leaving a wet trail on her skin. She took a sip, the bitter taste a harsh reminder of the truth she had been avoiding. They were two people living parallel lives, intersecting only in moments like these — moments of passion that couldn't fill the void between them. She searched for something to say, something that would make it all okay, but the words remained trapped in her throat, a jumble of fear and regret.
Suguru turned to face her, the fridge door now closed, the light above flickering. He studied her, his gaze intense. "You know," he began, his voice thick with unspoken words, "I thought this would be different."
The admission hung in the air like a question, a silent plea for her to explain, to justify her distance, her coldness. But she had no answers for him. Not ones he would want to hear, anyway. She took another sip of her beer, the bubbles fizzing in her mouth like the beginnings of a lie. "I know," she murmured, her voice barely audible. "Me too."
He stepped closer, closing the gap between them. His hand reached out, brushing a strand of hair from her face. His thumb traced her cheekbone, leaving a trail of warmth that made her tremble. "What happened to us?" he whispered, the pain in his voice raw and unfiltered.
She looked up at him, her eyes filled with a sadness that mirrored his own. "I don't know," she confessed, her voice cracking. "But maybe it's time we find out."
The tension in the room grew, a living, breathing entity that wrapped around them like a second skin. They stared at each other, the weight of their unspoken truths pressing down like an invisible force. And for the first time in what felt like forever, she saw a glimmer of hope in his eyes. Maybe, just maybe, they could salvage the wreckage of their love and build something new, something real. Or perhaps it was just a mirage, a fleeting illusion before the final curtain call.
But in that moment, with the cold beer in her hand and the warmth of his touch against her skin, she allowed herself to believe. She took a step towards him, her bare feet cold against the tile floor. He met her halfway, his arms wrapping around her in a fierce embrace. They stood there, in the heart of their shared chaos, holding onto each other like lifeboats in a storm-tossed sea. And for just a moment, she felt like maybe, just maybe, they could weather this storm together.

"brooke"
"Brooke get over here" her friend motioned as she saw a group of cute boys start a conversation with her friend. Not intent on being left out brooke made her way through the crowd. Pushing up and around as she fett several arms and bodies jump and press back into her. The crowds thick waves pushing her to and thro as she sneaked through the movement.
Just as she made her way out one of the men suddenly turned. A needle barely poking through the fabric stabbing into her shoulder as she yelped. "Hey watch it" she went to yell as the backpack pushed further in. Brooke quickly lost sight of him as she wiped her arm. Flicking off the slimy secretion left behind as she held back a gag.
Brooke turned to finally make her way to her friend. The group already in deep discussion as she tried to jump in. Making a couple of comments to not get left behind and make her presence known. The guy to her right chuckling as they made eye contact. He was kind of cute and tall. His tall stature in great contrast to her tiny frame.
Brooke purred the more she thought about it. Her body already heating up and getting hotter. Actually she was getting really hot. Brooke exhaled as she felt her skin blush. Why was she so hot. She tried to fan herself as she readjusted her bra. Her clothes felt tight and constraining. Her head grew dizzy as Brooke tried to keep her cool. Brushing off the few curious glances as she whimpered under her breath. Her skin flushing red as if waves of heat were rolling over her skin.
She couldn't hold it back anymore she let out a slight moan as she closed her eyes
Her skin rubbed and heated up as she tried to pretend like she didn't do anything. Some of the group turned towards her as she continued on and kept the conversation going.
As soon as they turned their heads away she checked herself out. What was wrong with her and why was she still so hot and "WHAT THE FUCK" She muttered as she stared down. The change wasn't super obvious to anyone but brooke but her tits were definitely bigger. Slightly pushing over her bra and digging into her shoulders. She felt raw heat emanating from them as she slightly cupped them. Holding back a moan as she nearly collapsed. The pleasure emanating out into her body as she removed her hands.
Her mind started to cloud with impure thoughts as she tried to refocus. Her friends were talking about going to a hotel room. She didn't want to be left out from this. And she definitely didn't want to end up with the guy no one else wanted. She opened her mouth to rejoin and maybe regain some integrity as she gasped.
Her body heating up as her tits jutted forward. Her body strained as she looked over to the guy next to her. Wait wasn't he taller just a moment ago he stood a full foot above her. Now her head rested just below his. Her body swayed with dizziness as she heard one of her friends scream after turning towards her.
"BROOKE YOURE FUCKING HUGE"
Brooke raised a hand to her head as she tried to balance herself. She was stunned as everyone stared at her before she glanced at herself.
She recoiled back as she saw the heaping amounts of cleavage her chest had donned. Her bra barely hung on as she realized everything about her was too tight. Her skirt dug into her hips and her sandals felt like they were about to guillotine her ankles off.
A couple people backed up as Brooke tried to salvage herself. "It's fine I got it under control how about we just go to that hotel room and someone gets to see these tits a bit cloSER"
Brooke grimaced as her bra flung off her body. Her tits careening forward as everyone took their eyeful and guffawed at her masive tits. Her feet stretched off her sandals as the straps broke off. Herfeet hitting the grass below her asshetries to readjusther footing. Her knees bending as her ass billowed backwards. Peaking out from under her skirt as her panties snapped off. Her skirt nearly busted off her hips as she tried to hold it back. Her face scrunching and strained in pain as she grunted
She felt her growth stifle as her eyes grew wide. She was just as tall as the man next to her. She was easily 6'4 maybe even 6". She raised an arm to block her breasts as her skin brushed across her nipples. Moaning in pleasure as she folded forward. Her legs nearly collapsed from the pleasure as she tried to stop herself from orgasming in front of everyone. Her lips pursed as she held it back. Her eyes watering as her forehead drizzled in a bit of sweat. Her skin was tender and sensitive to every micro movement she made. Her arm pressing Into her tits sending waves of pleasure down her spine. Her thighs rub together lighting her legs in heat. Her muscles contracted as she strained.
Her body heated up as she covered her mouth. Moaning through her fingers as she started to arrive. The group took more conscious steps backwards as she finally couldn't hold it back anymore. Her jaw dropped as she shut her eyes closed. Screaming out into the crowd as she moaned and collapsed. Brooke fell to her knees as her skirt burst into two. The crowd turning towards the now naked 8 ft tall women. Her hair swayed from side to side as she contorted her body and moaned Into the air. She started to draw a crowd as her friends made a real for the exits. The strangers of the crowd surrounding her as she grew.
Brooke spoke in broken moans as she tried to calm herself down. Every breath bringing her closer to another orgasm.
"c can't stop. Please somebody help MEee"
Her body ahuffed another foot across the floor. Her legs inching back as the crowd misunderstood her. One brave volunteer walking up and running up against her ass. Her butt bigger than half his body as he pressed into her. As soon as he touched her he was flung back by her body sprouting up again. Her legs knocking down a couple creeps as she fell to her elbows. Her tits dragged throughthe dirt as she orgasmed again and again. Each moan piling on more and more as she ascended through the crowd. Her feet digging into the grass as they dragged backwards. Her body sprouting over and over again as her head raised above the crowd. Her tits knocking over a couple people as she soared up into the air
Her body only rested at 50 feet after she fell unconscious. Still moaning through her breath as she collapsed out on the field.

Cardan’s pov.
It was almost too easy to follow Y/n, especially when it was all he could think of.
Cardan could see Y/n’s second in command catching up to Cardan on his horse from his peripheral vision, and he pulled his reins taut, turning towards the fae.
"My lord," He rasped, his eyes wide, "I'm afraid I can't let you-"
Despite it being very unlikely of Cardan, he almost snarled. "I am your king, and you are no one to let me do things."
The second in command winced, swallowing. "Forgive me, your highness-"
Cardan turned his horse around, his mind again set on what was more important. "Will consider it."
And then Cardan rode away, chasing his love.
°•°•°•○🌑○•°•°•°
Y/n’s pov.
The air was quiet, peaceful. So at odds with what was going on inside Y/n’s mind.
Inside, it was chaos, a chaos Y/n didn’t want to look into.
She had always been very good at hiding away her thoughts, the chaos. It had always been easy. Push the thought to the back of her mind, and she would be fine. But not now. It wasn’t working.
No matter how many deep breaths she took, the uncountable number of steps she took, her mind kept returning to how she had lost her cool just a mere hour ago.
It wasn’t one of her finer moments, to be sure.
Sighing, she settled down on a fallen tree, nibbling on her nails before she forced herself to stop. Instead, she began biting her lips, knowing they’d be bruised before she would stop.
It wasn’t long before she heard the horse hooves beating the soft, pristine white snow, crunching softly.
Y/n straightened, refusing to turn to look. She knew who it was.
Cardan.
The horse stopped, and then Y/n heard the unmistakable thud of him landing on the ground. She counted the steps he took towards her in her head, eyes focused on the bug crawling maybe ten feet away.
He didn’t say anything. Not a word as he appeared in her vision, then quietly settled down next to her on the tree. She didn’t either, trying to ignore his presence. He heeded her wishes, staying silent for long enough that Y/n saw the overhead sun move down, towards the horizon, its resting place.
Only after it felt like it had been too long since Y/n had settled on the tree, did she sigh and glance at him. His eyes were already trained on her.
"What." She mumbled, tired. "Why did you come? Was my speech not enough?"
He exhaled, looking away. "Y/n. You did not let me speak."
Y/n turned her head back to the front. "What was there to be heard?"
She felt his gaze on her again. "A lot. A lot."
She didn’t speak, not sure what to say anyway. And so he continued.
"Jude and I. We only married for show. You know that, no? She helps me out with the kingdom, I help her stay safe and make sure no one in Elfhame dares to harm her."
"You liked her. You told me everything you ever did with her."
"That is not true. We’ve become friends, now, yes. But it does not mean I like her in any way. Not in the way that matters." He paused. "Not in the way I like you."
Y/n stiffened. "What?"
He sighed. "Y/n, surely, being the general of the army, you could not be that oblivious?"
She glanced at him hesitantly, jaw clenching. "Get to the darned point, your highness."
Cardan stared back at Y/n, his distaste for the title she used for him evident. "I love you, general."
Y/n’s jaw ticked. "You… what?"
He rolled his eyes, grabbing her jaw. "It is you I love. You I live for. It was only because you never gave me any indication that you liked me too that I started pursuing Jude."
Y/n watched him, dumbfounded. But what was the point anymore? He was married. And she did not want to be a mistress.
"That’s… great to know. After you’re with someone else already." She muttered, sarcasm dripping from every word.
He reached out, grabbing her hand. "Jude and I are not married anymore."
Y/n almost heard her neck crack as she whipped her head to look at him. "What?"
He grinned lazily. "Why does it feel like you’ve forgotten your vocabulary? You keep saying what, what, what?"
Y/n scowled. "I swear, Cardan-"
He squeezed Y/n’s hand before she could say anything more, leaning his head on her shoulder. "Jude never liked me, obviously. She only did what she did to be in power. The reason I came here in the first place was to tell you about our new plan. She and I will no longer be married, and as much has been announced in the palace two days ago. I wanted me to tell you about it before the news reached you, so I came here."
Y/n stared at him for a long moment, trying to process and understand the near atrocities escaping his mouth. For a moment, she wondered if he was lying. But he was fae, and so was she, and she knew very well he couldn’t lie.
She huffed, looking away from him. "Well, it would have been nice to know that earlier before I made a fool out of myself."
She could practically feel him raising his brow. "Yes, my darling, loving daydream, you gave me so many chances to do so, yes?"
She rolled her eyes, standing and dusting off her pants. "You must return to the camp, or something is bound to come get you. And I won’t be here to protect your royal… butt. I have to go out to look at jewelleries for Herb’s childhood sweetheart. Apparently, he is going to ask her to marry him."
It was true. Herb had always had his sights set on a pretty fairy with iridescent butterfly wings. Only recently had Herb requested Y/n help him out.
He followed her, grabbing her wrist before she could even take a step away. "And you must return to Insmear, or my guards are bound to get you."
His voice was light, playful even. butY/n heard the hope, the insecurity, the question in it.
And she, for the first time in months, glanced at him and offered him a small smile.
"Of course. Can’t ignore his highness’ orders."
He blinked, his smile making an appearance, one she loved so much. It made her cheeks turn warm. He led her to her horse, waiting for her to be seated before climbing on his own and snapping the reins.
And maybe they had a lot to unpack and talk about, think about how they were going to move forward, but for now, it was enough.
He was enough.
Her love was enough.

Hey! Hope you're having a great day. I have a request but it's a bit dark so if you're not comfortable with it, you can switch it up yeah. Could I request a fic with Alex Albon where the reader is very depressed and SH but she hides it well, but one day she collapses and Alex sees the scars and how he deals with it? Thank you very much!
-beneath the surface-
summary : you can't tell alex about your feeling but you can't take it anymore.....
PAIRINGS : alex albon x fem!reader
WARNINGS : TW; self harm, depression, collapsing, bloody scars
note : If you are struggling with something please tell someone! There are some great hotlines you can call, websites(people) you can text and please trust me, everybody has times, long or short, where they need help or do not feel good. That is alright but please do not end it, you are so much more than a feeling!!! I love you guys so so much!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The chaos of the paddock had settled into a hum as the day’s press commitments finally ended, and Alex Albon found himself stepping away from the flurry of activity. The air was cool against his skin, and for a moment, he let the noise of the world slip away. He knew his job was to be fast-paced, to handle the demands of his career, but there were moments—like now—when he craved a little silence.
As he walked toward the team hospitality, his thoughts drifted to you. The person who had become an anchor in his life, a constant source of warmth, despite the fact that you rarely asked for anything in return. He could sense that something was off with you lately. You were always smiling, always polite, but Alex had a keen eye for noticing when something didn’t quite match up. Your energy was different—quiet, distant, almost like you were holding a part of yourself back.
He had wondered about you for a while now. You’d been so open, so kind, but there were times when it felt like you were hiding something—some deep weight you carried on your own. He wanted to reach out, to ask if you were okay, but you never seemed to need help. You always had it under control.
But today, something felt different. As he rounded the corner, his stomach tightened when he saw you standing alone near a doorway, your face pale and your posture stiff. Before he could even register the full scene, you collapsed to the floor, your body crumpling as if it couldn’t hold itself up anymore.
"Y/N?!" Alex’s voice shot out in panic, and he rushed toward you, kneeling down beside you. He was sure his heart was pounding in his ears as he gently tried to help you sit up.
You blinked, your eyes unfocused, trying to wave him off, though your voice was barely a whisper. "I’m fine… just a little dizzy."
Alex didn’t believe it for a second. He could see the tremble in your hands, the way your breathing was uneven, as if you were trying to hold something back. "No, you’re not fine," he insisted, his hand reaching out to steady you. "Talk to me. What’s going on?"
Your lips trembled, and for a moment, you looked as if you were about to push him away, to tell him nothing was wrong. But something in his eyes—a quiet understanding, a tenderness you hadn't seen from him before—seemed to break down the walls you’d built.
"Alex, I…" You bit your lip, eyes darting to the floor, struggling to find the words. It felt like admitting it would make it real, and you weren’t ready for that.
"Y/N, I’m here. You don’t have to do this alone."
The words were simple, but they settled over you like a blanket, pulling you out of the numbness you had been living in. For the first time, you felt like you didn’t have to hold everything inside.
He reached for you again, more gently this time, his hand brushing against yours. When you finally looked up at him, your face was pale and exhausted, eyes clouded with uncertainty. But the one thing that stood out to him the most was the vulnerability that now colored your features.
"I can’t keep pretending," you murmured, barely loud enough for him to hear, your voice laced with a sadness that broke his heart. "I’m not okay, Alex. I’m really not."
Without another word, Alex slowly helped you sit against the wall, his hands careful and warm. You didn’t look at him; instead, you tried to hide your arms, pulling your sleeves down instinctively, as if they could protect you from the truth. Alex noticed immediately, his brow furrowing. The signs were there, now clearer than ever—scars that hadn’t been there before, red lines crisscrossing your skin.
"Y/N…" His voice was thick with emotion, but he stayed calm, his eyes searching yours for a sign that you were ready to share, to trust him with whatever had been weighing on you. "You don’t have to hide from me."
But you pulled your arm away, the panic rising in your chest. "Please don’t look at them, Alex," you pleaded. "I don’t want you to see…"
He didn’t listen to your words. Instead, he gently reached out, lifting your wrist with the care he would use to handle something fragile. The sight of the scars—the visible evidence of the battle you had been fighting alone—sent a shock through his body. His throat tightened as he stared at the marks, his heartbreaking with the knowledge that you had carried all of this by yourself for so long.
"Y/N…" His voice was soft but filled with an undeniable sadness. "Why didn’t you tell me?"
You closed your eyes, tears threatening to spill over. "I didn’t want to burden you," you whispered. "I didn’t want to make you feel like you had to fix me. I didn’t want to seem weak."
Alex shook his head, his grip on your wrist tightening ever so slightly, not in pain but in reassurance. "You’re not weak. You’re incredibly strong, but no one should have to go through this alone. Not you. Not anyone."
You looked at him now, really looked at him, and saw the sincerity in his gaze. The warmth, the care, the love. You had always feared that your darkness might push people away, that they would see you as broken or unworthy. But Alex was still here. He hadn’t pulled away. Instead, he was sitting beside you, offering his support in ways you never thought possible.
"I’m sorry," you whispered, voice shaking. "I didn’t know how to ask for help."
"You don’t have to apologize," he said, his voice low and steady. "You don’t have to carry this on your own anymore. I’m here, Y/N. You don’t have to hide from me."
His hand brushed your hair back from your forehead, a soft, tender gesture that made you want to crumble. You were overwhelmed by the love and care he was giving you, a love that didn’t demand perfection or strength, but simply asked that you trust him. It felt like a lifeline, something you hadn’t known you needed until now.
"I don’t know how to fix this," you said, your voice breaking. "I feel like I’m broken beyond repair."
Alex’s expression softened, and he shook his head again. "You’re not broken, Y/N. You’ve been through so much, and I know it feels like you’re carrying the weight of the world. But you’re not alone anymore. We’ll get through this together, step by step. And you don’t have to do it all at once."
His words, filled with warmth and certainty, settled in your heart. For the first time in a long time, you allowed yourself to believe that maybe, just maybe, you could heal. With Alex beside you, there was a sliver of hope—hope that the darkness that had once consumed you could begin to recede, bit by bit.
"I’ll be with you," Alex continued softly, "through every dark day and every hard moment. You don’t have to hide anymore. You’re worth every ounce of care and love I can give, Y/N. And I’ll be here, always."
Tears spilled from your eyes, but this time they weren’t just tears of pain. They were tears of relief, of finally letting someone in, of realizing that maybe—just maybe—you weren’t as alone as you thought. Alex had already seen your scars, but now, at this moment, he was showing you that the love he had for you wasn’t just about fixing you—it was about being there for you, just as you were.
"I’m so glad you’re here," you whispered, your voice full of gratitude.
Alex smiled, brushing away the last of your tears. "I’m not going anywhere."
And at that moment, you believed him.

examining a seemingly normal image only to slowly realize the clear signs of AI generated art.... i know what you are... you cannot hide your true nature from me... go back where you came from... out of my sight with haste, wretched and vile husk
#BEGONE!!! *wizard beam blast leaving a black smoking crater in the middle of the tumblr dashboard*#I think another downside to everyone doing everything on phone apps on shitty tiny screens nowadays is the inability to really see details#of an image and thus its easier to share BLATANTLY fake things like.. even 'good' ai art has pretty obvious tells at this point#but especially MOST of it is not even 'good' and will have details that are clearly off or lines that dont make sense/uneven (like the imag#of a house interior and in the corner there's a cabinet and it has handles as if it has doors that open but there#are no actual doors visible. or both handles are slightly different shapes. So much stuff that looks 'normal' at first glance#but then you can clearly tell it's just added details with no intention or thought behind it. a pattern that starts and then just abruptly#doesn't go anywhere. etc. etc. )#the same thing with how YEARS ago when I followed more fashion type blogs on tumblr and 'colored hair' was a cool ''''New Thing''' instead#of being the norm now basically. and people would share photos of like ombre hair designs and stuff that were CLEARLY photoshop like#you could LITERally see the coloring outside of the lines. blurs of color that extend past the hair line to the rest of the image#or etc. But people would just share them regardless and comment like 'omg i wish I could do this to my hair!' or 'hair goallzzzz!! i#wonder what salon they went to !!' which would make me want to scream and correct them everytime ( i did not lol)#hhhhhhggh... literally view the image on anything close to a full sized screen and You Will SEe#I don't know why it's such a pet peeve of mine. I think just as always I'm obsessed with the reality and truth of things. most of the thing#that annoy me most about people are situations in which people are misinterpreting/misunderstanding how something works or having a misconc#eption about somehting thats easily provable as false or etc. etc. Even if it's harmless for some random woman on facebook to believe that#this AI generated image of a cat shaped coffee machine is actually a real product she could buy somewhere ... I still urgently#wish I could be like 'IT IS ALL AN ILLUSION. YOU SEE???? ITS NOT REALL!!!!! AAAAA' hjhjnj#Like those AI shoes that went around for a while with 1000000s of comments like 'omg LOVE these where can i get them!?' and it's like YOU#CANT!!! YOU CANT GET THEM!!! THEY DONT EXIST!!! THE EYELETS DONT EVEN LINE UP THE SHOES DONT EVEN#MATCH THE PATTERNS ARE GIBBERISH!! HOW CAN YOU NOT SEE THEY ARE NOT REAL!??!!' *sobbing in the rain like in some drama movie*#Sorry I'm a pedantic hater who loves truth and accuracy of interpretation and collecting information lol#I think moreso the lacking of context? Like for example I find the enneagram interesting but I nearly ALWAYS preface any talking about it#with ''and I know this is not scientifically accurate it's just an interesting system humans invented to classify ourselve and our traits#and I find it sociologically fascinating the same way I find religion fascinating'. If someone presented personality typing information wit#out that sort of context or was purporting that enneagram types are like 100% solid scientific truth and people should be classified by the#unquestionaingly in daily life or something then.. yeah fuck that. If these images had like disclaimers BIG in the image description somewh#re like 'this is not a real thing it's just an AI generated image I made up' then fine. I still largely disagree with the ethics behind AI#art but at least it's informed. It's the fact that people just post images w/o context or beleive a falsehood about it.. then its aAAAAAA

why won't my brain shut up why won't my brain shut up why won't my brain shut up why won't my brain shut up
#i'm overthinking something that i did and was told off for doing by my director#and on my way home i was thinking when was the last time i was even talked to like that during a production#and then i remembered the costume experience from hell of only a couple months ago that i've already began blocking out#but the thing is that that person was someone i knew i'd never have to work with again#i mean at first i thought i would have to work with them more. then they announced they were moving away immediately#so i only had to deal with them face to face for another weekish after that point and anytime they yelled at me#i was like 'cool. i'll do exactly what you say to do. and nothing more.' but then of course me being me#i did some extra stuff and they initially were like 'oh that's pretty' and then days later told me to cut everything i added#and like sure i get that the show was frozen but girl. that costume was unfinished. i was trying to finish it. it was frozen but looked bad#anyway. whenever they yelled at me and had actual malice in their heart i was like whatever. i was hurt. but i didn't care as much.#but this time it's someone i've worked with many many times before and it was about a habit i have that i know isn't great#but at the same time the thing that prompted it wasn't even me doing this habit it was something else#but she interpreted it as that habit and said that i can't do that on a production she's directing#and that if i couldn't stop then i could pull out from the production and there'd be no hard feelings between us#and honestly i think her reassuring that she knows i'm valuable and that she wants me there while also telling me not to do this thing#and the fact that she's someone i like working with and will continue to work with just made it all hurt so much more#especially since she referenced another past production we've done where i didn't even realize she had noticed that i do this.#and i found myself in near tears. and still am kind of in near tears. i can't decide if i need to cry or not.#and i had NO sleep last night so i was looking forward to sleeping tonight but now i'm just overthinking EVERYTHING#and like. i know everything will be fine. if i just stop inserting myself and stick to just my specific tasks. it'll be fine.#but this is one of the ways my ocd manifests. i feel like i have to personally fix something i notice going wrong. or it'll be bad.#because every single time i choose to sit back and not be nosy when i notice something it ends up bad in a way i could have prevented#if i just inserted myself in a situation i technically wasn't part of but knew i could help or fix. so i just need to not do that.#but then i feel guilt if it does go wrong in the ways i immediately assumed it would and in a way i could prevent.#and i've been trying to work on this for like 6 months and aaaahhhh it's hard and being called out on it from her just really really hurt#i still may or may not cry. i don't know. the irony of me telling my therapist THIS MORNING that it's been a while since i last cried.#and the universe being like 'i took that as a challenge' and handing me this situation for me to spiral over.#i need to leave things alone. i need to stare straight ahead. and ignore whatever isn't specifically for me to do. but ahhh i want to help#and then of course my mom has this same habit and it annoys me when she does it yet i do it to other people and ahhhhhhhh#brain please just shut up. i need to sleep. i have to work tomorrow.

ok yeah i know rwrb is a longer book, just over 400 pages, i understand that. i get things would need to be cut for the movie, i'm no fool.
i just don't... i'm not understanding the creative decision behind cutting a major supporting character completely. in fact, i'm baffled. like????
#june? JUNE? JUNE????????????#THEY CUT HIS SISTER???????#JUNE?????????#i just thought she wasn't in the trailers or smth not that they took her out of the movie entirely!!!!!#have i been living under a rock?#how is this going to work????#and his parents are still together???#tf??? fine don't include leo but just leave them divorced what in gods name#i can't figure out if percy is in this or not and at this point im not sure i want to know#i heard they're shifting a lot of junes stuff to nora which ok fine but#THEY COULD HAVE JUST LEFT JUNE IN THE DAMN MOVIE#why is this bothering me so much#sarah.pdf#seriously though how long has this been common knowledge#i'm still gonna watch the movie but i'm honestly confused how a lot of...... everything is going to go down now#edit pez is in the movie at least there's that i guess#edit edit oh cool they took out raf luna too#who made these choices turn on your location. i just wanna talk#did casey actually like. approve these choices? were they even involved?

ring pop proposal ♡
fem reader, pure fluff, childhood friends to lovers lemme alone do not perceive me yk the drill by now, lil self indulgent fic cus i love childhood friends to lovers and puppy crushes, polar opposite’s trope, this reeks of my oc x canon katsu ship sooooo shh shh do not perceive.
the first person who realizes katsuki has a crush on you is his mom because when she comes to pick him up one day from kindergarten he suddenly mentions you. it’s an innocent little interaction he had with you that mitsuki doesn’t think much about at first, simply surprised her son managed to befriend someone outside of his little group of friends until he starts mentioning you more and more.
soon you’re the only thing he talks about and katsuki even starts begging her to have you come over to play. mitsuki is extremely curious to know what kind of person you are to have been able to enchant her son the way you have, she says it’s fine as long as your parents agree.
you’re a sweet little thing, almost the complete opposite of her little devil’s spawn. you’re polite and a little shy when you ask “ is it okay if i come to play at katsu’s house, please miss katsuki’s mom ?” and how could she say no to you ? she pulls at your cheek lovingly and her son almost snarls at her.
“no touchin’ !” he snarks, pulling you against him like you were his teddy bear.
mitsuki was the first to realize her son had a crush on you when you were always around. when he found something cool during a class trip you were there and whenever he was upset it was always because you had argued about something irrelevant that seemed so much bigger in the eyes of a child.
she realized because katsuki had, and in some ways, will always be rowdy. he’s rough and temperamental and moody—basically, he can be quite the brat. (she wonders where he gets that from a lot) but he’s different with you.
he’ll always be a little rough around the edges but it’s the thought that counts. he drags you around a little too hard but it's to show you something he knows you'd like and you repay him by being patient with him and letting him drag you around to his hearts content. he let’s you use the crayons he’d just denied another classmate seconds ago and when it’s really early in the morning and you’re still sleepy unlike your more energetic friend, he waits for you. sitting with you in the reading corner quietly commenting on a little bit of everything in the book you’re sharing until you’re awake enough to start the day because katsuki wanted you to be together through anything no matter what, starting the day without you was simply unimaginable.
you offer him your kindness and he repays you with his loyalty. acting like your guard dog, protecting you from everything and everyone he considers a threat to you. he goes a bit overboard but it’s the thought that counts and he’s definitely got the right intentions.
“ i’m g’nna marry yn when i grow up !” katsuki proclaims from the backseat of the car after mitsuki had come to pick him up. she looks at him through the rear view mirror only to see he’s not even looking at her, looking out the window somewhat longingly, watching as his school fades away from his sight, further and further and further away from you. she smiles to herself.
“yeah ?” she asks “yeah !” he responds proudly, crossing his arms “ i asked yn if she wanted to be my wife an’ she said yeah, so we’re gettin’ married !”
“huh. how’d you propose ? you don’t have a ring.” she jests.
katsuki responds immediately and exclaims he does have one, shuffling around to reach for something in his pocket. he pulls out a plastic ring pop holder, the candy on top is missing and mitsuki can imagine what happened to it.
“gave her one of these !”
“so that’s why you had me buy those from the store last time,” she hums. “ you ate it, though.”
katsuki tries to roll his eyes but just ends up looking up and to the side, mitsuki recognizes it as him trying to mimic what she does a lot and she snorts.
“well duh, we both did ! ‘f i kept it in my pocket it woulda gotten gross !” he defends. mitsuki simply responds with a hum, smile on her face growing larger as she hears her son happily chatting about the rest of his day with you.
she knows her katsuki is hard to handle. extremely so. but when she sees the way you both interact she can tell something is there. you don’t ‘handle’ him. you like being around him. you like playing and talking with him, she sees how happy you make him whenever you come over for playdates. he holds your hand when you get scared and you hug him tight and beam when you see him again after he’s gotten over a nasty cold.
she can tell you make her son happy and he does the same for you in the way children do with pinky promises and shy cheek kisses, kisses over tiny wounds and refusing to be separated whenever the rowdier one of you both gets his recess time taken away for being naughty.
mitsuki hopes this crush, this love you have for her son can grow along with you. she hopes you’ll stick around as katsuki grows up more and potentially more rowdy and rougher around the edges but even more enamored with you. and with the way her son is squirming around in his seat and tugging at his seatbelt, giddy about you accepting his ring pop proposal, she has a funny feeling you’ll be sticking around for a long time.

back when satoru and you were just friends, he liked to make it very clear to your circle of peers that he wasn’t just good at sex.
no, according to himself, he was some kind of sex god — to match his power level in sorcery, of course.
and obviously, who was anyone to think otherwise? the great gojo satoru; such a cocky and confident demeanour paired with angelic white hair, piercing blue eyes, and a tall sculpted body that other guys at the gym double-take at. him..? a virgin? hah! good one.
satoru believes that he’s done a rather spectacular job at keeping his reputation sky-high.
the only problem was.. now he had a girlfriend with high expectations to please.
since the day you’d gotten together — going multiple months strong — satoru was starting to sweat more and more knowing that his rather crucial fabrication was bound to be brought up sooner or later. you had your needs just like him, and satoru wouldn’t blame you if you were a bit worried about why he hasn’t initiated anything; y’know, since he was supposedly eros in human form and all that.
little did you know your boyfriend felt equally frustrated. for slightly different reasons.
“bro, it’d be hot if she was a virgin, but me?!” flopping back against the armrest, gojo lets out a theatrical groan while his best friend — the only other person to know of his dark secret — snickers against the cushions nearby.
“everything’d be fine if you didn’t pretend to be some incubus that makes girls cum with a snap of his finger,” geto quips unhelpfully.
satoru lifts his head, sneering when he realizes that the raven-haired man was much too busy scrolling on his phone to notice how he’s resting a pair of dirty shoes on his white couch. “that would be pretty cool..” when he only receives a disgusted glance, he huffs, suddenly feeling a bit vulnerable as his thoughts wander further. “how’m i even gonna tell her? what if she doesn’t trust me anymore?”
at last, suguru looks up with a hint of sympathy in his eyes. “you know y/n isn’t like that. just.. wait for her to initiate something and go with the flow,” he advises, lips curling into a knowing smirk.
“you find a way to be good at everything, anyway, toru. she’ll be begging for you in no time.”
as usual, geto knows him too well, because those last few words have gojo shooting up from the sofa with a grin. “ya think so?”
“hell yeah, man.” the two idiots end the discussion by dapping each other up, a confident gleam in both of their eyes.
only a couple days later, satoru discovers that going with the flow isn’t as easy as suguru advised. with your plush lips sucking his bottom one through occasional moans, along with a delicate pair of nails scratching perfectly at his undercut, he already felt himself getting breathless and aroused like a teenager.
perhaps you’ve put him under a spell; how is it that he lasts through prolonged battles while barely breaking a sweat, but having your cute hand move to rub up on his abs and pecs send his nerves into overdrive? it wasn’t like making out wasn’t uncommon for the two of you, this time it just felt so passionate with the way your hips moved to straddle his, tongue practically begging for entrance while the movie on screen was left long forgotten.
gojo can’t help but groan as your muscle explores his mouth, core ever so smoothly grinding on his bulge and igniting heat through his entire body. even as you pull away to take a breath, his grip on your waist remains stable as if you’d disappear at any moment— growing even tighter with the way you bore into his eyes hungrily. “satoru..”
your unusually seductive voice makes him audibly gulp. “y— yeah?” he whispers, glancing to the hand thats now moving down over his grey sweats. shit, this was too much, was he dreaming? he should do something, pinch himself before—
“touch me, please?” as you voice your request, you squeeze his dick so nicely that satoru swears he nearly explodes in his boxers.
he swallows, words getting lost in his throat. “i— i uh...”
for the first time in history, satoru has been rendered speechless, and you visibly panic at this realization. yet when you try to carefully maneuver off his lap and give him space, the clutch on your waist intensifies. “what— are you okay? what’s wrong?” you murmur, brows creasing with concern.
though you never brought it up, satoru’s worry about your confusion was correct; you’d been expecting him to jump your bones a week into your relationship, but seeing how he never forced anything and remained respectful was cute.. at first. after a month of rejection and being pushed away whenever things got too heated, insecurities were bound to start brewing inside you.
he better have a damn good explanation.
“i’m fine,” he reassures, “it’s just— i should probably tell you something..” refusing to meet your eyes, the sorcerer resorts to drawing shapes against the skin under your t-shirt. in other situations, this would feel soothing, relaxing even — but currently, his lacking and lingering touch made you want to rip the hairs off your head.
all you wanted was to finally get a taste of your steaming hot boyfriend. what could he possibly need to say right now? you ponder, hasn’t he been dying to finally show off how amazing he is in bed?
“yes..?”
“it’s actually a funny story, ahaha..” he stalls, chuckling nervously as you turn his jaw to make eye contact. a feeling of impatience and neediness pulls through you, but you contain yourself with a deep breath.
“spit it out, satoru.”
there was no going back now, right? “so.. i’ve uh— i’ve never actually done this before.”
you blink.
“you’re a virgin?”
it was difficult to believe your own words; it sounded wrong no matter how hard you tried to wrap your head around it. satoru being inexperienced? the satoru with a rock hard 6 pack? the satoru with biceps that bulge out of his shirts and a face sharp enough to be sculpted by aphrodite herself? your satoru?
it sounded ridiculous, but the ugly pout rising across his lips tells you that it wasn’t a prank after all. “hey, don’t call me that, now it sounds way worse!”
a sigh escapes your lips, arms folded across your chest. “so all those never have i ever games and stories you told about one night stands were— mph!" before you know it, a large hand is covering your mouth.
“listen, how about we talk about this after having some fun?” a surprisingly determined gleam shines in your boyfriend’s icy blue eyes, making your thighs clench together in excitement.
who were you to say no to that?
—
next thing you know, pillows support your back as a shirtless satoru lies directly in front of your clothed crotch, hot breath making you wiggle around impatiently.
“jus— just take it off me, toru. so damn slow—“
“baby,” he scolds, looking genuinely upset, “this is my first time seeing a pussy in real life and you’re ruining it with your lack of patience.”
you can only roll your eyes and groan, head flopping back against the cushions in boredom. there was no way to predict how satoru’s first time would go, but you never expected it’d be this agonizing on your end — nor that he’d be so bossy.
though luckily, after another deep breath, your panties are gently tugged down your legs, and satoru can only inhale as he watches your poor hole clench around nothing. it only made sense that after all that dry humping and making out that your neediness increased, and it didn’t help that you could clearly see the way satoru was not only rock hard, but much bigger than average through his grey sweats.
“ooh.. oh shit..” like the invasive pervert he is, satoru moves even closer to the point where your thighs rest on his muscular shoulders before taking two fingers to spread your lips apart. this way, he has a clear view of the place that needs him most, and it makes a furious blush blossom on your cheeks.
“s— satoru.. what are you doing?” now you felt like the virgin, desperately attempting to shut your legs with no avail. damn this big idiot and his strength.
suddenly, his piercing eyes snap up to you, a feral look in his gaze. “shit, how’m i gonna fit in this little hole?”
you can’t deny the way his dirty words does something to you — not that you’d ever admit it. “that’s why you gotta prep me, toru. y’know..” you gulp, “fingering, or like.. eating me out.”
in response, you get a cheshire grin. “sounds fun. show me how you do it, sweets.”
“w-what?”
satoru leans back, attemping to hold in a mischievous smile. “how else am i gonna learn?”
even masturbating alone makes you flush in slight embarassment, so doing it in front of someone else — your cheeky, shamleess boyfriend no less — had you drowning in nerves. the bigger problem was that his words held a strong point; you’re supposed to be teaching him for his first time and ensuring it’s as enjoyable as possible.
these reminders make you mumble out a gentle fine, breath stuttering as you spread your legs further for the man in front of you.
satoru is now resting his weight on the palms of his hands, looking laid back and relaxed, but evidently still focused at the way your fingers move to unclasp your bra with skill. “damn..” as your tits are freed, he finds himself needing to adjust his sweatpants and nearly letting out a pathetic noise you would definitely tease him for.
you gulp, trying to ignore his blatant gawking. “it’s good to.. y’know, tease a bit before getting straight to it. makes it feel better — for me, at least,” you explain while massaging your chest, hiding surprise at the way he sternly nods in understanding.
now that you think about it, something tells you this is the most focused satoru has ever been in a learning environment.
after a bit more pinching and fondling, your hands slide down to your stomach and thighs, trying to get your breathing to relax. having gojo watch you do something so private was.. surreal, but you know for a fact you’ve never been this wet before, if that meant anything.
once you finally move down to your most intimate part, satoru takes a deep breath. he watches as you use your fingers to reveal a small bundle of nerves, pulsing and desperate for attention. “this is the clit, toru. s’very important.”
his eyes light up. “oh, i know that one!” he announces proudly, “i remember suguru saying i have to.. uh, worship it or something.”
you snicker at the thought of geto giving out sex pointers. “mhm, sometimes penetration isn’t enough, so you need to give it attention or i can’t really finish.”
gently, you start massaging the bud in circles, humming at the feeling of finally getting some type of relief. you move down to your hole to collect some of your wetness before bringing it back up, letting out a moan in satisfaction.
the way satoru licks his lips as you finally plunge a finger into your wetness has you shivering, but you remind yourself that for now, this was simply a demonstration and that you’d get a taste of him later.
after adding another, you attempt to reach your sweet spot by curling upwards, but it seems that even your hopelessly inexperienced boyfriend could tell that it was getting nowhere.
“aw,” he pouts teasingly, “lil’ fingers can’t reach anything, huh?”
“shut— shut up, satoru.”
before you know it, he’s moved onto his stomach again, face to face with your pussy and gripping your now soaked fingers. “you use these pathetic things when y’masturbate, huh? imagining my dick while having such tiny fingers up your cunt? kinda offended, babe..”
you feel your tummy flip, where did he learn to talk like that?
“do you have to be so vulg—“ you’re cut off by a choking gasp as a warm, wet muscle licks a stripe from your hole all the way to your clit.
“thanks for the lesson. ‘think i got it from here,” is all satoru says before he’s diving in, slurping up as much of your essence as possible before latching his plush lips right onto your poor little clit.
you can’t help but wiggle around at the jump in stimulation, but that only lasts about five seconds before a muscular arm presses you firmly against the mattress, rendering you trapped and unable to escape to his ministrations.
“hey, slow down!” your words are coincidentally yelped out right as he wiggles a much bigger finger into you. it explores your insides eagerly, caressing and feeling up what satoru believes will be his new favourite place.
“wow..” sluuurp, “so warm n’ soft in here..” he happily mumbles against your pussy. the vibrations of his now deeper voice shoot through you like electricity, eliciting another choked whine from your throat.
it felt like he was just toying with you; looking way too content drinking up everything you offered, fluid rushing down his chin and nose pushed firmly against your pelvis to inhale your scent.
suddenly, he’s jabbing his fingertip right into that pocket of sunshine that makes your eyes roll back, a loud whimper leaving your throat before you could stop it. “satoru, right there!” he swiftly seperates from your clit just to mumble out a here? in confirmation, prodding your sweet spot over and over in record breaking speed.
when you nod, he grins smugly, now adding another finger to stretch you further. “mmmph, this is pretty fun. could lie here all night.”
luckily, you barely process his words, much too busy enjoying the best finger-fuck of your life — and this was only his first time, you remember, what will the bastard do to you once he’s got some practice in?
a shaking hand tumbles into his snowy locks, attempting to pull him back weakly. “wait, m’gonna cum, toru—“
gojo growls almost animalistically, tugging your hand back onto the sheets. “then fuckin’ do it,” he demands. “c’mon, i’ve earned it, right?” then, he sucks even harder, fingers slamming and curling and making the loudest squelch you’ve ever heard.
“see?” he continues, “lil’ cunt wants to cum so bad for me. knows who 'er owner is already.” his filthy words definitely take part in the way your orgasm hits like a train, body shaking and toes curling as you let the feeling of bliss take over you. you flinch at how swiftly his tongue licks up everything you give him, the fingers in his hair tugging harder in overstimulation.
“toruuuuu..”
he simpers, tasting his cum-covered lips. “yeeees?”
“this— this is your first time, i should be making you feel good.”
slowly but surely, your eyes reopen, meeting your boyfriend’s relaxed gaze as he rubs your thigh affectionately. “dunno what you’re talking about, i felt pretty good just now.” when you only pout further, he snickers, pushing some of his bangs back smoothly. “c’mon, there’s lots of time for you to get me off later. m’ too excited for the main event..”
at last, he reaches for his sweatpants, more than excited to tug them down and finally give his aching cock some freedom. satoru doesn’t think he’s ever had a more painful boner in his life, but it was all worth seeing you release all over his tongue and fingers.
right as he finishes untying the knot, pale fingers drifting up to the waistband, you’re smacking him away to make room for your own hands. he watches with an open mouth as you pull his boxers down along with his pants, leaky, hard cock springing free and nearly hitting you in the face.
shit, of course his dick is perfect too. with a bit of white hair at the base, bulging veins adorned the entirety of his massive length, and the tip — shit, the tip was even bigger than the rest, mushroom shaped and angry red. his balls looked equally agitated and full — the epitome of breeder balls, and you gulped at the thought of him filling you up with everything they had.
now his question from earlier made sense, and he seems to be enjoying the realization on your face from his spot kneeling on the bed. “like what’cha see?” he coos, one big hand lowering to relieve the aching in his balls.
“toru, i don’t know if you’ll even fit. why— why do you have to be so big?” it’s annoying, you want to say — but the white-haired man has already laid back and manhandled you onto his chiseled stomach, a yelp escaping you at his suddenness.
he’s smiling so hard at your little dilemma that it’s almost sick, hands resting behind his head cockily. “tell me more while you ride me, baby.”
after processing that all you’ve been doing is feeding his size kink and inflating his already massive ego, you frown. “i’m serious, toru!”
“what!? i’m serious too!” the man defends with fake innocence, blue eyes shining in glee. “you’re the expert here, remember? ‘supposed to be teaching me how it’s done.”
all you do is grumble whilst moving down to sit between the sorcerer’s thighs, lightly prepping him with your fist and a dribble of spit from your mouth that has the white-haired male biting his lip. “fuck..” satoru can’t recall how many times he’s masturbated to the mental image of this exact moment, but now that it was finally happening, he promised himself to savor it as much as possible.
when you move to finally straddle him, hole hovering just above his length, he begins bucking his hips up desperately. “hurryyy…”
“are you in heat or something?” you snort, giving him a dirty glare as if you weren’t about to let him inside you.
“for you? yeah.” satoru offers you a cheesy wink and grin that dissipates the second your warmth encloses his aching tip. his hands slowly move up to grip your waist, jaw clenching in an attempt to not slam you down to his balls right then.
“ngh… fuuuck, baby,” he groans as you ever so carefully move down another inch. “jesus.. you’re sooo damn tight. dunno’ how you’re even taking me..”
you squeeze your eyes shut in attempt to bare the discomfort for him, a slight crease growing between your brows. “satoru, fuck— hurts..” he immediately reopens his eyes in worry, searching for a way to take your pain away.
yes, he could already tell that he enjoyed being meaner with you in bed — but it’s never fun if you don’t feel good as well. though he luckily recalls your lesson from earlier, moving a soft thumb down to massage your clit in tight circles.
when you jolt and nearly faceplant into his neck, he only grins proudly, now using one veiny hand to help push you further onto him. “theeere we go.. aw, feel better?”
“mhm, feels full..” you mumble back, looking down to see that you — unbelievably — still had a couple inches to go.
satoru feels like he’s about to burst on the other hand, thriving in pure ecstasy at the feeling of your walls massaging him just perfectly. he can’t help but thrust up and force his last inches inside you, an echoing smack! of skin against skin singing through the room and eliciting a startled yelp from your throat.
“toru!” despite your scolding, you can’t deny the perfection in which his tip kissed your g-spot effortlessly. his hands felt ever so soothing, comfortingly running up and down as you sat impaled on his cock, wiggling around to get comfortable and ruining him in the process.
just as you start to adjust, you feel yourself being lifted up. “m’ sorry sweets..” gojo suddenly voices, “i can’t..”
“huh? what do you m—ah!” you’re flipped onto your back before you know it, knees resting on the shoulders of your boyfriend who has a gleam in his pupils that you’ve quite frankly never seen before; he looked feral.
satoru carefully pulls out until only his tip is encased in your warmth, and everything is calm for a moment. you both take a deep breath, and he smiles down at your already fucked-out face with pride. “satoru—“
then he’s pushing back in with all the strength his massive hips can produce, and you think if it weren’t for his hands wrapped around your thighs, you would’ve got pushed off the bed entirely. you unintentionally let out the loudest sound of the night, and this sets him off.
now he was getting brutal, bullying your cunt with hit after hit against the spot that has drool dripping down your cheek and eyes crossing. you can’t even stop the pathetic noises and symphonies of right there! that leave your lips, no matter how hot your cheeks flush in embarrassment. it felt as though every time his dick jabbed back in he was right up in your tummy, veins pulsing and ensuring your pussy is molded to the perfect sleeve for him.
“toru, shit— nghh, faster, please! feels s’good!”
“nghh, toru, faster! ahaha..” he mocks you — of course he does, but picks up the pace nonetheless — now holding your lower body up so that your knees dangle higher over his shoulders and each stroke is angled exactly where you want him. “so cute when you’re gettin’ stuffed full, baby.”
he leers as you send him the harshest expression you can manage, reaching down for your clit and giggling as you start squirming in an attempt to escape the overwhelming pleasure. this bastard is having way too much fun, you realize, moans being forced out of you almost tauntingly.
tonight you discover that satoru’s way of fucking is rather animalistic, frantic, thrilling, and with the sole purpose of making you both feel as good as possible. if you want him to go slow or make love to you, you’d probably have to ask beforehand — or perhaps tie him up so you could have your fun in peace.
if your insides weren’t being rearranged, you’d grin at the thought of your boyfriend restrained and at your mercy. another night, you promise yourself.
“tightest pussy ever f’my first time baby.. haah.. can’t believe i’ve been missin’ out on this.” for once, something praising comes out of his big mouth, breathes getting cut short every time you involuntarily squeeze him harder. he swears there’s no better feeling then what you were giving him right now, not even singlehandedly resurrecting himself using the reversed curse technique.
and while no injuries have ever left a scar on gojo satoru, he decides that the claw marks you’re ruthlessly digging into his back will stay as long as his body allows — why should he hide how good he’s made you feel despite being a virgin an hour prior?
maybe if he’s in the mood to brag, he’ll show them to suguru later.
“feels good toru, fuckin’ me so good,” you feel the way his whole body reacts to your praises, a deep growl melting from his lips as the sounds of skin slapping increasingly grows in volume.
“babyyy,” he pants, legs being held higher while he digs deeper into your guts, “m’gonna cum.. need you to cum with me.“ the twitching of his length inside you gave away the fact that gojo has practically been on the edge ever since he pushed into you — and while he knows it’s completely normal to cum prematurely on your first time, when has he ever not gone above expectations?
in a split second you’re flipped onto your hands and knees, veiny hands pushing you into a deep arch while your boyfriend gives his body a moment to relax, pinching his base (a rather perverted method he’s learned by edging himself while masturbating) between his thumb and pointer.
when you needily wiggle your hips in an attempt to find his cock again, he grins boyishly. “lookin’ for this?” he sings the words right before plunging his entire length back into you, abusing your g-spot while a lanky finger impressively finds the bud between your legs right away (a skill that most ‘experienced’ men you’ve previously been with fail to achieve), circling and pinching in a frantic attempt to make your orgasms arrive in sync.
“fucking hell.." you whine, the new angle making his tip bump against spots that have never been rubbed before. “can feel you so deep..”
“oh yeah?” his bicep pulls you up so your head rests on his broad shoulder, now victim to the filth being whispered directly into your ear. “m’ i doing good? fuckin’ this lil’ pussy nice and deep like she needs?”
when you nod, he beams like a maniac, seemingly encouraged to pound you even harder as his hips pick up the pace. “damn, ‘think i’m already a pro at this, huh?”
for the sake of your sanity, you ignore his bragging. “toru, don’t stop. i’m— i’m gonna..”
“you’re gonnaaa?” he derides, kissing the corner of your lip sweetly. “tell me, baby.”
“gonna cum for you, please.” satoru almost decides to fill you up at those words, but his self control is just a bit stronger. he feels the way your cunt is pulsing, body practically shaking as you get closer and closer to release, and he’s determined to help you reach it.
his thrusts get a bit sloppier, and you’re too busy basking in your own pleasure to see the eye-candy that is gojo biting his swollen lips, sweat dripping down his temples all the way to his solid abs, snowy bangs a tad bit moist against his forehead. he looked like the definition of temptation; straight out of a wet dream with stamina that seemingly never declined.
“me too, baby. c’mon, cum on this dick. s’all yours to ruin.”
you moan as you allow yourself to let go, toes curling and nails digging into his toned forearms ecstatically. “thaaat’s it, good girl.. ahah.. such a good girl f’me.” he talks you through it as if he’s done so a million times, both of you looking down to watch your release coat his dick and the crumpled sheets below.
at his praise, you squeeze him just a bit tighter, making his lips curl up in interest. “my girl likes being praised, huh? yeah.. doing so good makin’ a mess on me..”
he pulls out, carefully lowering you to the mattress before tugging on his dick in hopes of reaching his own peak. satoru forces himself to open his eyes just enough to admire the view of you fucked out below him, body shaking slightly as you recover from the intense waves of your orgasm.
“y/n,” he abruptly whines, patting your shoulder with a subtle urgency in his voice.
“..mhmm?”
“where can i cum? quick baby— please, i’ve been holding this for way too long—“ this has your body moving, eyes popping open as you swiftly bend down so your mouth hovers directly in front of him.
you replace his fist with yours as soft lips move to suckle harsly on his leaking tip, and now it’s gojo who has his eyes rolling back; whimpers flying out of his throat every time your tongue massages the delicate underside, sending visible shocks through his body. “fuck!” he can only curse and run his fingers through your hair for support while you pump him dry. “just like that, good.. haah.. good fuckin’ girl, shiiit.”
you’ve never seen your boyfriend — the strongest — look so pathetic and desperate, but it only spurs you on further, enjoying the way he continues to blabber about how pretty you are and how he’s gonna fill your mouth like he would your pussy. in response, you greedily hum around him, licking through his slit as if you were pleading the little hole to give you what you deserved.
and only moments later, satoru’s words become reality; though he attempts to keep revelling in the feeling of your warm lips and hands, his body stills in place instinctively, one last warning tumbling out of his throat as your mouth is flooded with rope after rope of bitterly sweet fluid.
it seems like your accusations about his breeder balls were correct, because once it starts it seemingly never ends; cum now overflowing from the corners of your lips as you struggle to swallow frequently enough to not choke on how much he deposits.
meanwhile, gojo feels like he is quite literally ascending, everything becoming unimportant next to you and the feeling of pleasure being forced through him like an overwhelming earthquake, pulse after pulse as you suck him for all he’s worth.
“thas’ right.. take every damn drop, baby.” when satoru looks down and earns a glimpse of the white fluid trickling down your chin, his dick twitches in your mouth. “god, you’re so sexy..”
once he was done, you both flop onto the bed in exhaustion, and while the vulnerable moment has utmost potential to become something cute and memorable, a certain blue-eyed bastard decides to open his mouth once again.
“what’re you huffin’ and puffin’ for?” he sasses, shamelessly eyeing the way your tits rose and fell with every breath you took. “all you did was lie there while i had a full body workout!”
you take a very deep breath. “i just let you put your dick inside me. shut the fuck up.”
at your reminder of what’d just occurred, he grins like an idiot. “you’re right, thank you.” they’re soft, but he ensures his words are as audible and genuine as he can make them.
satoru isn’t exactly the best with words, but he knows damn well that — despite all the bullshit he'd spouted at those parties — you’re the only person he wanted to have his first time with, and the fact that you allowed his wish to become reality is something he’ll forever be grateful for.
“i love you..” you soften. “even if you’re a pillow princess.” you stiffen again.
nothing could stay lovey-dovey with him for too long.
a fake cry is pulled from his lips as you rudely smack his shoulder. “i tried to ride you but you flipped me over after ten seconds!”
“it’s not my fault you're as slow as a fuckin' snail!”
somehow, you both make it to the washroom despite all the banter. just as you bend over in hopes of starting the shower up, a mean spank is delivered to your ass.
when you turn to meet the culprit, he only narrows his eyes at you playfully. “round two, m’lady?” it’s almost like his voice lowers on purpose, dirty words rumbling in his throat, knowing what it did to your body.
you do your best to send him a disappointed glance anyway. “day one of not being a virgin and you’re already the horniest man i know.”
after following you inside, his fluffy hair flattens from the steamy water before nudging you back, encasing you between him and the solid wall.
“i might be willing to overlook the fact that you know other horny men if you agree to some very loving, extremely intimate making out,” he requests with a smirk, sleek nose poking yours in a much gentler way than expected.
you still send him a distrusting raise of your brow. “only making out, huh?”
the dirty smirk he sends you is all you need to know, along with his hardened dick pressing against your thigh as he moves in to kiss you.
what have you gotten yourself into?

03 | EVERYTHING IS AWESOME…
m.list | prev | next
The night was calm, as far as Gotham standards went. Dick leapt across rooftops with practiced ease, the crisp night air cooling the sweat on his brow. Patrol had been fairly routine so far—an attempted mugging here, a couple of carjackers there. But even as he flipped and fought, his mind was elsewhere.
You.
Why was it that for the past few days, he couldn’t seem to catch you for even a moment? Every time he stopped by the manor, Alfred had the same response: Miss (Name) is out at the moment, Master Richard.
Out? Out where?
He’d pressed Alfred for more details the first time, but the butler’s polite smile and vague responses left him with more questions than answers.
He ducked under a clumsy swing from a thug, twisting his attacker’s wrist and disarming him in one fluid motion. Were you avoiding him? The idea gnawed at him, even though he tried to dismiss it. Surely you wouldn’t do that. Not to him. Right?
But the signs were starting to feel undeniable. You answer his texts hours later, and even those were short and simple. Most of his calls went straight to voicemail and when you do pick up, it was to say that you couldn’t talk right now. Whenever he asked anyone in the family about you, they either gave noncommittal answers or shrugged. Even Damian had been uncharacteristically tight-lipped when Dick had broached the topic with him. That, more than anything, felt like a red flag.
Had the two of you not reconciled yet?
What did you two even argue about to get to this point? Damian wouldn’t tell him anything no matter how much he bugged him.
The thought made his chest tighten uncomfortably. Did he do something? Say something? He ran through every interaction he’d had with you in recent memory, trying to pinpoint where things might’ve gone wrong. But nothing came to mind. You’d always seemed fine, maybe a little quieter than usual, but he’d chalked that up to you being tired. Gotham took its toll on everyone eventually.
Still, the nagging doubt lingered. The idea that you might be avoiding him on purpose—it didn’t sit right. You were family. He thought he’d always made that clear (he did right?), that you could come to him about anything. So why did it feel like you were slipping away? Did he not make it clear enough? (did he even make it clear?)
Dick pushed off the railing, his footsteps echoing as he started pacing again. He didn’t like this feeling. He needed to figure out what was going on. What had changed? And why did it feel like you were determined to keep him at arm’s length?
“What’s got your panties in a twist?”
He knocked the thug out with a quick jab to the jaw and spun around to check on Jason, who was dealing with the last of the group. His voice, distorted slightly by the modulator in his helmet.
Jason, of course, was handling them with his usual… flair. A solid punch here, a sharp kick there, and the thugs were down for the count in no time. As Jason holstered his pistol, he glanced over at Dick, tilting his head slightly as though sizing him up.
Dick let out a sarcastic laugh, shaking his head. “Haha. Very funny.”
Jason lets out an audible scoff. Even though his face was obscured by his helmet, Dick could practically feel the eye roll.
“So?” Jason drawled, crossing his arms as he leaned against a lamppost. “Are you gonna speak up or what?”
Dick just sighs as he puts away his escrima sticks.
“It’s about (name).”
“What? She messed up again or something?”
Dick’s head snapped toward him, his brow furrowing. “What? No. Why would you even—”
Jason shrugged, kicking at the unconscious body of one of the thugs as if to test if he was really out cold. “I dunno. She’s always messing something up, isn’t she? And you have to clean up after her. At least, that’s the vibe I get.”
Dick’s shoulders tensed, a sharp frustration bubbling to the surface. “Jason, seriously?”
Jason raised his hands in mock surrender. “What? I’m just saying—”
“No, you’re not ‘just saying,’” Dick interrupted, his voice sharper than he intended. “This is exactly why I’m worried. You guys act like she’s just… this screw-up, like she’s some annoyance you have to deal with, and it’s not fair.”
Jason tilted his head, clearly surprised by the outburst. “Okay, hold on. Where’s this coming from?”
Dick sighed, rubbing the back of his neck. He leaned against a nearby wall, staring out over the dimly lit alleyway. “(Name) quit being Batgirl.”
Jason visibly froze for a split second at Dick’s words, the tension in his stance betraying his surprise. But it was gone as quickly as it appeared. He let out a scoff, straightening up and crossing his arms. “Okay. And?”
Dick blinked at him, momentarily thrown off. “What do you mean, ‘Okay, and?’” he asked, incredulous. “(Name) quit, Jason. (Name). The girl who literally begged B and Babs to let her become Batgirl. She didn’t just want it; she fought for it. And now—”
“And now she’s finally done being a liability in a cape,” Jason interrupted, his tone dripping with sarcasm. “Honestly, Grayson, shouldn’t you be happy about it?”
Dick’s breath hitched, the bluntness of the statement striking a nerve. He opened his mouth to argue, but nothing came out. He hated to admit it, but a part of him—the small, cruel voice he always tried to silence—had whispered something similar when he first heard the news.
Jason, noticing the brief flicker of hesitation on Dick’s face, took that as his cue to keep going. “I mean, come on. She’s not cut out for this life, and you know it. You’re just too polite to say it out loud. So, good for her. She’s finally realized what the rest of us already knew.”
Dick was silent, his jaw tightening as Jason’s words hung heavy in the air. He didn’t want to agree, not even a little. But the doubt had already been planted, and Jason’s callousness only made it worse.
“No,” Dick said finally, his voice firm. He shook his head, as though trying to rid himself of the thought entirely. “Don’t call her a liability, Jay. And that’s not the point. She quit, yeah, but she’s been distant ever since. When she had this huge fight with Damian—”
Jason snorted. “Probably demon spawn’s fault.”
“Don’t say that,” Dick snapped, frowning at him. “It’s no one’s fault, Jason. They probably weren’t in the right headspace and let their emotions get the better of them.”
Jason rolled his eyes. “Sure. Whatever helps you sleep at night.”
Dick ignored the jab, his focus still on you and the unanswered questions swirling in his mind. He wasn’t going to let Jason’s cynicism—or his own creeping doubts—stop him. Whatever was going on, he’d figure it out. And more importantly, he’d make sure you knew that he cared, no matter what anyone else thought.
Dick sighed, running a hand down his face. “Jay, come on.”
Jason turned to him, arms crossing defensively. “Seriously, what the hell do you want me to do, Dick?”
“I don’t know! Go talk to her or something!” Dick snapped, exasperation lacing his tone.
Jason gave him a flat, unimpressed look. “Oh, right. Like she’d talk to me of all people. Great plan, genius.”
Dick threw up his hands in frustration, his patience quickly wearing thin. “Come on. What’s your deal?”
Jason paused, the question clearly catching him off guard. “Excuse me?” His voice dropped a notch, low and warning.
But Dick didn’t care about the edge in Jason’s tone or the way his posture screamed “back off.” He was too fed up, too worried, and too frustrated to stop now. “No, seriously,” Dick pressed, stepping closer. “It’s like you don’t even care about (Name).”
Jason’s whole body tensed, his fists clenching at his sides. Dick could practically feel the anger rolling off him in waves.
“What?” Jason snapped, his voice rising. “So you want her to keep wearing a mask and fight battles she clearly can’t handle? You want her to keep throwing herself into situations where she’s gonna get herself killed? That’s what caring looks like to you?”
Dick stepped forward, his own frustration boiling over. “This isn’t about whether or not she’s wearing a mask! This is about you acting like you don’t give a damn about her!”
Jason let out a bitter laugh, shaking his head. “Oh, so now you’re the expert on what I feel? That’s rich coming from you.”
“I thought you two were close, Jason,” Dick shot back, his voice tight with barely controlled anger. “What happened? You used to care about her. You used to look out for her!”
Jason scoffed, the sound harsh and bitter. “What happened? Life happened, Dick. I’m not the same 15-year-old boy she knew back then. And I’ll never be that guy she knew again. So don’t stand there and act like you have any right to talk about my relationship with her when I don’t see you even having half of what me and her had before.”
That struck a nerve, and Dick’s jaw tightened. “You think I don’t care about her?” he asked, his voice low and steady now, the anger simmering beneath the surface.
Jason’s helmet tilted slightly, as if he was sizing Dick up. “Oh, you care, alright. But not enough to actually see what’s in front of you. She tries too hard, she’s always second guessing herself, and honestly? It’s exhausting to watch. Whereas you’re too busy running around trying to ‘fix’ everything to even notice.”
Dick flinched, the words cutting deeper than he wanted to admit. “That’s not fair.”
“Life’s not fair,” Jason shot back, stepping closer, his voice dripping with bitterness. “But here’s the thing—you want her to keep being Batgirl because it makes you feel better. Like you’re holding this family together or something. But did you ever stop to think that maybe, just maybe, she quit because she wants to?” He gestured vaguely at their surroundings. “And instead of giving her the space to do that, you’re chasing her down like she’s some mission you need to complete.”
Jason’s words hit Dick like a slap in the face, leaving him momentarily stunned.
“I’m just trying to help her,” Dick said softly, his voice losing some of its fire.
Jason sighed, running a hand through his hair, finally removing his helmet. His face was set in a hard expression, but there was something raw in his eyes. “Yeah, well, sometimes helping means knowing when to back the hell off.”
The two of them stood in tense silence, the night air heavy with unspoken words. Finally, Jason stepped back, shaking his head. “If you want to do something for her, stop acting like you know what’s best for her. I’d rather see her alive than rotting as a damn corpse, labelled as one of the old man’s fallen soldiers.”
With that, Jason turned and walked away, leaving Dick standing there, the weight of the conversation pressing heavily on his shoulders.
The thugs were all rounded up and still unconscious, whereas Jason was out of sight. But his words lingered in Dick’s mind, playing on a loop.
I’d rather see her alive than rotting as a damn corpse.
Dick sighed, sitting on the edge of the rooftop. His escrima sticks rested loosely in his hands as he stared down at the empty streets below. Jason’s parting words had hit their mark, and he hated to admit it. The thought of you… dying—just the word alone made his stomach churn.
Jason had already died once, and Dick hadn’t been there to stop it. He hadn’t been there to save him. If the same thing happened to you, if you ended up another casualty in their endless war against Gotham’s darkness…
That’s on him.
He swallowed hard, gripping his escrima sticks tighter as guilt began to settle in his chest like a lead weight. Jason was right. It was probably a good thing you quit. He wouldn’t be able to forgive himself if he let another one of his siblings die.
Siblings.
The word felt heavy now, laden with unspoken truths. Jason’s earlier jab suddenly clawed its way to the forefront of Dick’s mind:
Don’t stand there and act like you have any right to talk about my relationship with her when I don’t see you even having half of what me and her had before.
Did Jason really believe that? Did you?
He shook his head, trying to dismiss the thought. Of course, he cared about you. Of course, he’d been there for you. Hadn’t he?
But as much as he wanted to dismiss Jason’s words, they stuck with him, gnawing at the edges of his conscience. Slowly, memories began to surface, unbidden and relentless.
He was Robin then—young, brash, and full of anger. The grief over his parents’ deaths was still fresh, a raw wound he didn’t know how to heal. And you… you were Bruce’s kid. That was all he saw you as. He watched you grow up, become this bubbly kid, who, for some reason, looked up to him a lot.
But what did he do with that? He bailed.
He could remember it so clearly now, those moments when you’d ask him to play with you, to just talk—and he’d brush you off. “Not now, (Name),” he’d say, and ruffle your hair. The Teen Titans needed him. Gotham needed him. But you didn’t know that. Bruce wanted to keep you out of this life, and frankly, he did too. Which was why there was always some excuse to explain why he was so busy, why he couldn’t play with you for as long as you wanted him to.
He winced as another memory came rushing back: one of the many times you’d waited up for him in the living room, hoping to show him some new arts and craft you did, or one of your tests that you did really well in. He’d walked in with Wally and Donna, laughing about something from their latest mission, barely sparing you a glance.
“Wow, this is nice!” He’d say absent-mindedly, before ruffling your hair like you were some kid tagging along.
“I’ll catch you later, alright?” he’d say, and then he’d leave you alone.
And what had you done? You’d nodded, forced a smile, even as disappointment flashed across your face. He hadn’t noticed it then—not really. He’d been too caught up in his own world, too focused on proving himself to the team, to Bruce, to everyone.
Dick let out a shaky breath, the weight of those memories settling over him like a suffocating blanket. God, Jason was right.
He hadn’t been there for you the way Jason had. Jason, for all his faults, had always been someone you could count on when he first came to the family—someone who didn’t bail, who didn’t make you feel lonely.
But that was before his death. Now things were different between you two. Neither of you were willing to repair the broken bond you two once shared. Why? He wasn’t sure.
Dick rubbed a hand over his face, the ache in his chest growing sharper. “Damnit,” he muttered under his breath.
What could he even do to make this right? To show you that you mattered to him—that you’d always mattered?
But deep down, he already knew the answer. He couldn’t fix this with mere words or gestures or even the best intentions. He had to show you, prove to you, that he was here for you now. That he wasn’t going to leave you alone this time.
Even if that meant letting you go for now, giving you the space you clearly needed. Even if that meant accepting that you no longer wanted to be Batgirl, that he’d fallen short. But he was willing to do better. Even if it meant he’d had to wait.
The thought hurt, but it was better than losing you for good.
“This is nice.”
The warm sunlight filtered through the trees at Gotham Park, casting dappled patterns across the picnic blanket. Caitlyn was leaned against you, her sketchpad balanced on her knees, pencil gliding smoothly as she doodled. Adrien sat cross-legged across from you both, stuffing another bite of a homemade pastry into his mouth with an exaggerated hum of delight.
Adrien nodded enthusiastically, agreeing with Caitlyn, as he pointed his fork at you. “You can say that again! (Name), I didn’t know you could make treats like this! They’re so good!”
Caitlyn grinned, glancing up from her sketch. “Literally! This is amazing. You’ve been holding out on us, chef.”
Your cheeks flushed, and you looked down at your hands, a little bashful at their praise. “I… honestly didn’t think I could make anything this good,” you admitted, brushing a strand of hair out of your face.
“You’re kidding, right?” Adrien said, picking up another cookie. “These are, like, professional-level good. If you ever decide to stop… uh, doing whatever it is you do after school, you could totally open a bakery or something.”
You laughed, though the comment stung just a little—only because you didn’t know you were good at making pasteries.
To fill up your now free schedule after quiting as Batgirl, you had gone to Alfred and asked him to teach you how to bake.
Alfred, helpful and patient as always, agreed without hesitation. “Baking, my dear,” he had said with a faint smile, “is both a science and an art. It requires precision, but it is also a most rewarding endeavor.”
And so, your evenings became a blend of warmth, flour-dusted counters, and Alfred’s gentle guidance. He would show you how to knead dough, measure ingredients with precision, and even share some of his most guarded recipes—ones he claimed even your father was particularly fond of.
When you weren’t in the kitchen with Alfred, you spent your afternoons at the library with Caitlyn and Adrien. Studying with them, or rather, helping them study, had become another way to fill your time.
High school material was easy enough for you—thanks to your first life. You’d already tackled algebra, chemistry, and history years ago. So instead of cramming for tests yourself, you found yourself explaining concepts to Caitlyn and Adrien, who both leaned heavily on your ability to simplify even the most convoluted topics.
“Okay, so… if x is equal to 4, then y has to be…” Adrien tapped his pencil against his notebook, staring intently at the equation in front of him
“Eight,” Caitlyn supplied confidently, but her grin faltered when Adrien and you both gave her a look.
“Try again,” you said with a soft laugh, pointing to the part of the equation she’d miscalculated.
Caitlyn groaned dramatically, flopping back into her chair. “Math is dumb.”
“Math is logical,” you corrected, though your teasing tone made Adrien snort. “You just need to stop skipping steps.”
“Why does it feel like you’re giving us the cheat sheet to life?” Adrien said, glancing up from his notes. “You make this stuff seem so easy.”
“Yeah, seriously,” Caitlyn chimed in. “Are you secretly some kind of math genius or something?”
You shrugged, trying to play it off. “I’ve just… always been good at this kind of thing.”
They didn’t need to know the full truth—that you’d already gone through high school. They didn’t know the truth about you or your family before, and you weren’t planning to change that now. They didn’t need to know about the mask you’d taken off or the life you were trying to leave behind. For now, it was enough to help them, to enjoy their company, and to let this simpler version of your life unfold.
It was strange, almost surreal, how quickly you’d settled into this new routine. But you found that you didn’t mind it. For the first time in a long time, life felt… normal. And maybe that was what you needed most.
As Caitlyn returned to her doodling and Adrien polished off another pastry, you leaned back on your hands, letting the moment sink in. It felt… peaceful. A rare pocket of calm in the chaos that had been your life lately.
The park was lively but not overwhelming, the gentle hum of laughter and chatter from other families and friends creating a soothing backdrop. The late afternoon sun warmed your skin, and for the first time in what felt like forever, you felt grounded.
“Hey,” Adrien said suddenly, breaking you out of your thoughts. “We should do this more often.”
Caitlyn nodded. “Agreed. This is probably the most relaxed I’ve seen you in weeks, (Name).”
You hesitated, glancing between your two friends. They weren’t wrong. But a part of you couldn’t help but feel a pang of guilt. You weren’t being truthful to them, yet they were still being so nice. You didn’t deserve them.
You opened your mouth to reply, ready to brush off Caitlyn’s and Adrien’s comments, when a sudden, sharp flash of green invaded your vision. It was jarring—so vivid and overwhelming that you winced, instinctively bringing a hand to your temple. For a moment, it felt like the world tilted on its axis, the vibrant sounds of the park muffled by the ringing in your ears.
And just as quickly as it came, it was gone.
You blinked, your heart racing as you tried to make sense of what had just happened. The green was seared into your memory, the edges of it glowing like embers before fading entirely. The momentary pain in your head vanished, leaving behind nothing but confusion.
“What the hell…” you muttered under your breath, still dazed.
“(Name)!” Caitlyn’s voice was sharp with concern, snapping you out of your stupor. “Are you okay? What just happened?”
Adrien leaned closer, his eyes wide with worry. “You winced. Are you alright? Did you hurt yourself?”
You glanced between the two of them, their faces etched with genuine concern. You didn’t want to worry them. You couldn’t worry them. So you forced a laugh, waving a hand dismissively. “It’s nothing, really. Just a headache. Probably didn’t drink enough water or something.”
But Caitlyn wasn’t buying it. She immediately pushed herself off you, her sketchbook forgotten as she leaned in close, her expression dead serious. “Nope. No way. If you’ve got a headache, you need to go home and rest. Sun’s probably not helping either.”
“Yeah, seriously,” Adrien chimed in, nodding emphatically. “Don’t push yourself too much. We can always continue this another time, okay?”
You tried to protest, but their stubbornness left no room for argument. Caitlyn was already packing up the picnic, her movements quick and decisive, while Adrien carefully wrapped up the leftover pastries.
“You guys are being dramatic—” you started to say, but Caitlyn cut you off with a pointed glare.
“Nope. Not hearing it. We’re not taking any chances,” she insisted, brushing a stray strand of hair behind her ear. “Come on, we’ll walk you home.”
A sigh escaped your lips as you realized there was no point in fighting them on this. “Alright, alright. I’ll go.”
As the three of you made your way out of the park, Caitlyn clinging protectively to your arm, your thoughts drifted back to the green flashes. What the hell was that? It wasn’t just a headache—that much you knew.
You forced a smile as Caitlyn began chattering about her latest art project, Adrien throwing in jokes to lighten the mood. But in the back of your mind, the unsettling image of green light lingered, pulsing faintly like a warning you couldn’t ignore.
You finally managed to convince Caitlyn and Adrien to leave you at the gates of Wayne Manor, reassuring them for what felt like the hundredth time that you’d be fine. They only relented when you promised to text them once you’re feeling better, and with a wave and one last concerned glance, they finally left. You sighed in relief and turned toward the manor, making your way inside.
When you stepped inside, that’s when you saw him—a familiar, bubbly boy practically skipping towards the manor entrance. Jon Kent. Superman’s son. Damian’s best (and only) friend.
Wow. He looked so much younger than you remembered.
The moment Jon spotted you, his face lit up. Before you could even blink, he was flying over to you, his grin wide and infectious. “(Name)!” he called cheerfully as he landed in front of you, his feet barely making a sound on the gravel path.
You blinked, startled but unable to help the small smile that tugged at your lips. “Hey, Jon.”
“How are you? Are you okay? You look okay! Wait—were you out? Where did you go? Do you need help carrying anything?!” He practically bounced on his heels as he bombarded you with questions, his usual excited energy radiating off him like sunlight.
You chuckled fondly, shaking your head as you answered. “I’m fine, Jon, really. And no, I don’t need help. I was just out with some friends.”
“Oh, okay!” he chirped, looking momentarily reassured. “I was just here hanging out with Damian, but—uh, well…” He rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly, his cheeks turning a little pink. “I kinda didn’t tell my parents I was flying over here. So, you know, I should probably head back to Metropolis before they notice I’m gone.”
You snorted softly at that, a nostalgic warmth in your chest. “Your secret’s safe with me. I’ll pretend I didn’t see you.” You said, and winked.
Jon’s grin returned in full force, but it faltered slightly as he looked at you again. This time, his expression was hesitant, uncertain, like he was trying to figure out how to say something.
“What’s wrong?” you asked gently, tilting your head at him.
Jon shuffled his feet, his voice quieter now. “Uh… can I ask you something?”
“Sure.”
He hesitated again, looking down before blurting out, “Is everything okay between you and Damian?”
You froze. The question caught you completely off guard. Your mind stalled, your smile faltering as you stared at him, wide-eyed and stunned.
Jon must’ve noticed, because he immediately panicked, waving his hands frantically as he backtracked. “Oh! You don’t have to answer! Forget I asked! It’s just—” He fumbled over his words, his cheeks turning red. “I was asking Damian about you, and he… he kinda just glared at me. And then he changed the subject! Really fast! Like, super fast. And, uh… I’ve never really seen him act like that before.”
You blinked, his words sinking in slowly. Damian… avoiding the subject of you? Now that you thought about it, you hadn’t exactly seen Damian around the manor since that argument in your room. It was like he was going out of his way to avoid you entirely. Was he?
But you couldn’t let Jon worry about that. He was just a kid, and this wasn’t his problem. So, instead of letting your own thoughts spiral, you forced a laugh and reached out to ruffle his hair gently. “Don’t worry about it, Jon. Damian and I just got into an argument, that’s all. Nothing to lose sleep over.”
Jon blinked up at you, his expression still unsure, but he nodded slowly, leaning into the comforting touch of your hand. “Okay… if you say so.”
“Really. We’ll work it out,” you reassured him, giving his hair one last affectionate pat. Somehow.
He smiled again, though it was a little smaller this time. “Alright. I just wanted to make sure. You know… you’re important to Damian too, even if he doesn’t say it.”
You paused at that, something in your chest squeezing painfully, but before you could respond, Jon glanced at the time and jolted upright. “Oh no! I really gotta go now, or I’m so dead!”
With that, he gave you a hurried wave, his boyish grin returning. “Bye, (Name)! I’ll see you soon, okay?”
You smiled softly and waved back as he floated up into the sky, watching as he zipped off toward Metropolis in a blur of red and blue. Once he was gone, you let out a slow breath, your hand falling to your side as your thoughts drifted back to Damian.
Jon’s words lingered in your mind.
You’re important to Damian too.
It doesn’t really feel that way though….
Alfred Pennyworth, ever the watchful guardian of Wayne Manor, had always considered it his duty—not just as a butler, but as something far more profound—to care for the members of the Wayne family. For all their strength and tenacity, they were, at their core, human. Bruce and his children—each carrying burdens far heavier than any child or young adult should. And so, he noticed things. He always noticed.
Lately, what he noticed most was the way you carried yourself these past few days—lighter, freer. There was a spark in your eyes that had been absent for far too long, a small but significant ease in your posture. You looked happier. Relaxed, even. It was subtle, something anyone else might have overlooked, but not Alfred. No, he knew you. He knew what haunted you when you thought no one was looking. But now? Now you seemed… different.
Frankly, he hoped it stayed that way.
“Miss (Name), if I may,” Alfred began gently as he watched you measure flour into a bowl, a little puff of white powder escaping into the air. “You seem… at peace, lately...”
You paused, glancing up at him with a small, slightly sheepish smile. “Is it that obvious?”
“Indeed.” He gave you a soft, knowing look as he adjusted the cuffs of his sleeves. “Would it be terribly forward of me to inquire as to what—or who—has brought about this change?”
You shifted, focusing a little too hard on sifting the flour as you shrugged. “It’s my friends. Caitlyn and Adrien. They helped me realize there’s more to life than just…” You trailed off, searching for the right words.
“Than just the responsibilities placed upon your shoulders?” Alfred offered delicately.
You nodded, giving him a grateful glance. “Yeah. Something like that.”
Your friends. Alfred found himself deeply relieved to hear that you had people like Caitlyn and Adrien in your life—people who brought you happiness, people who helped lighten the weight you carried. “I see,” he said with a small smile. “It gladdens my heart to know you have such loyal companions. Though, might I suggest inviting them here, to the manor?”
You blinked, looking at him as though he’d suggested something preposterous. “Alfred…”
“Miss, it would seem only fair for me to meet the individuals who have been instrumental in helping you through your turmoil. They seem like lovely people.” His tone was kind, slight humourous even, as he mixed something in a nearby bowl.
You laughed softly, but there was a stubborn edge to it as you shook your head. “As much as I’d like for you to meet them, I don’t think that’s a good idea, Alfred. They don’t know about this family’s secrets, and I intend to keep it that way..”
Alfred raised an eyebrow, ever patient. “I’m certain Master Bruce and Master Richard can manage a polite exchange, at the very least.”
You gave him a pointed look, and Alfred sighed, though it was laced with fondness. “Very well, Miss (Name). If you insist.”
“Thanks,” you said softly, giving him a small smile.
Though Alfred was slightly disappointed at your reluctance, he respected your wishes. He always did. And if your friends made you happy—even if he wouldn’t be able to meet them—then he supposed that was enough for now.
“Now then,” Alfred said, turning back to the task at hand, “you’ll want to add the butter slowly while continuing to mix.”
You hummed as you followed his instruction, your brow furrowing in concentration. The two of you fell into an easy rhythm, the kitchen filling with the soft sounds of utensils clinking, the hum of the oven warming, and your quiet conversation.
“So, Miss Caitlyn and Mister Adrien—are they excelling in their studies with your assistance?”
“Adrien, yes,” you said, rolling your eyes good-naturedly. “Caitlyn… well, she’s trying, but math isn’t really her thing.”
“And yet you continue to help them both. How noble of you,” Alfred replied as he handed you a whisk. “And what of school itself? Are you settling in well?”
You shrugged, starting to mix the ingredients. “Eh…It’s alright. A little boring sometimes, but I guess it’s better than…”
Dying.
You stopped yourself short, quickly correcting, “better than not being in school at all.”
Alfred didn’t miss the slip, but he didn’t press. “Indeed. A dull day can be a blessing in disguise.”
You gave him a thoughtful look, lips quirking into a soft smile. “You always know what to say, Alfred.”
“I try, Miss (Name). I try.”
And as Alfred watched you work—your expression relaxed, your mind seemingly at ease—he hoped, quietly, that this simpler version of your life, this peaceful respite, would last just a little longer.
The soft hum of the oven filled the kitchen as you pulled the last batch of treats onto the counter. The warm, golden pastries sat neatly on their tray, a small comfort in a life that had otherwise been anything but neat. Baking had become your escape—an anchor to hold onto when everything else felt like it was slipping through your fingers.
But the calm was short-lived.
Alfred’s comm buzzed quietly, and though his expression remained composed, you saw the subtle shift in his demeanor—a slight straightening of his back, the way his gaze sharpened. Something was happening.
“It seems Master Bruce and the others require my assistance,” he said, his tone steady as always.
You already knew what that meant. Gotham was in chaos again.
Alfred turned to you, his expression softening with the familiarity of his next question. “Are you sure you do not wish to assist? They could use an extra hand, Miss (Name).”
The offer hung in the air, and for a second, you hesitated. There was always a small part of you that wanted to say yes, to jump back into action and prove yourself—to prove you could help.
But then you suddenly got flashbacks of a memory that you had kept stored away. Oh right. You remembered what this attack was.
Another one of Riddler’s bombing attacks.
Riddler had been terrorizing Gotham with a string of coordinated explosions around this time, targeting key buildings across the city. Chaos had unfolded over the city as your father, along with other available vigilantes in Gotham, scrambled to contain the damage, evacuate civilians, and track down Riddler before he could set off another series of bombs.
You had been told to stay put back then. “It’s too dangerous,” Bruce had said. “We need you to sit this one out.”
But you hadn’t listened.
You’d tracked down one of Riddler’s supposed locations on your own, convinced you could help. The moment you arrived, you knew you’d made a mistake. The building had been rigged, and your sudden presence sent everything spiraling. The countdown on the bomb accelerated. The Riddler’s men panicked and scattered, slipping out before Bruce and the others could surround them.
Dick, Tim, Stephanie and Cassandra had to swoop in to clean up the mess—disarming the bomb, calming the chaos, and stopping any further destruction. They managed to save the day, to prevent any civilian casualties, but Riddler himself got away.
Bruce’s fury still echoed in your head.
“Do you have any idea what you nearly cost us tonight?”
You hadn’t been able to look him in the eye.
“They got the job done,” you’d mumbled, your voice small, but that hadn’t mattered to him.
“Because they had to clean up after you,” he’d snapped, his words sharp enough to sting. “You disobeyed a direct order, and you let Riddler slip away.”
It was one of those moments you wouldn’t forget. Not because of Bruce’s anger, but because he’d been right. You’d wanted to help, and all you’d done was make it harder for everyone else.
Back in the kitchen, you swallowed hard, snapping back to the present. Alfred was still watching you patiently, waiting for an answer.
“I’m sure,” you said finally, your voice tight but firm. You offered a small, forced smile. “They don’t need me. They can handle it themselves.”
For a moment, Alfred regarded you with that knowing look of his, like he could see through every wall you’d put up.
“Very well,” he said softly, though there was a faint note of disappointment in his voice. “If you change your mind…”
“I won’t,” you cut in quickly, your voice quieter this time.
Alfred gave a small nod, seemingly accepting your answer, though you didn’t miss the flicker of concern in his gaze as he turned toward the door.
As he left to fulfill his duties, the kitchen fell silent once more. You leaned back against the counter, staring blankly at the pastries you’d worked so hard on.
Your hands curled into fists at your sides.
“They don’t need me,” you whispered to yourself, repeating the words like a mantra.
But it didn’t feel comforting. It felt hollow.
Because, deep down, the truth still hurts you even now.
You stood in the quiet kitchen for a moment after Alfred left, the hum of the Wayne Manor settling into the evening stillness. The smell of baked goods lingered in the air, but even that wasn’t enough to soothe the weight pressing down on you. With a tired sigh, you began packing everything away, carefully placing the treats into containers and wiping down the counters.
Once the kitchen was clean and silent, you dragged yourself upstairs to your room. It had been a long day—long week, really—and all you wanted to do was sleep. Kicking off your shoes and pulling the blankets over yourself, you let exhaustion take over. For once, you didn’t dream.
A sharp ringing jolted you awake.
Your eyes cracked open reluctantly, the faint glow of your phone lighting up your bedside table. The clock read 4:23 AM. Groaning, you fumbled for the phone, squinting at the screen to see an incoming call—and a series of missed notifications.
22 messages from Caitlyn.
The sight alone snapped you out of your drowsiness. Your stomach twisted, the urgency of it sinking in as you swiped to pick up.
“Caitlyn?” Your voice was groggy and thick with sleep, but there was an edge of concern as you sat up in bed. “What’s going on?”
“(Name)!” Caitlyn’s voice came through the line, panicked, frantic, and scared. It hit you like a punch to the gut. “Oh my god, I—It’s Adrien….He—He’s in the hospital…!”
What?
I think you guys should read the masterlist once more in case you missed out any key warnings…

slip up- o.piastri (no.81)
----------
----------
summary: oscar slips up about your marriage.
pairing: oscar piastri (no.81) x fem! driver! reader
----------
“How was your summer break Oscar?” Jack Doohan asked.
“Yeah, it was good. Visited my wife’s family in Ireland for two weeks. It was beautiful,” he smiled, remembering the happy memories.
Jack smirked, knowing what he’d just said and didn’t realise. “Feeling ready and rested for today? Ready to beat Verstappen?”
He chuckled. “We’ll see, I guess.”
----------
“So Y/n, how was your summer break?” Will Buxton asked, a smirk on his lips.
“Yeah all good Osc and I went back to visit family, it was a great holiday. We spent some time in Dublin, in Galway, in Tipperary, in Kerry, yeah. It was gorgeous. We finally got some good weather for once,” you smiled.
“Do anything special?” He asked, an eyebrow raised.
“We actually showed his family all around Ireland, and our extended families met for like, the first time which was cool,” you shrugged. “Yeah, Nicole is an avid hiker so we went up Carrauntoohil, which if you don’t know is the tallest mountain in Ireland. Hattie was not a fan,” you chuckled. “Yeah, but it was great, we had a bunch of fun.”
“Well, that sounds like a lovely break. How are you feeling about today? Worried about the weather and wind?” He asked.
“No, not really. Obviously Zandvoort is always a very unpredictable circuit in terms of weather, but I kind of grew up with this being the standard for almost every karting race, or just training session. If I’m not used to it by now, I’d feel a bit foolish,” you chuckled.
“And Oscar, your husband, how do you think he’s feeling?” Will asked, a smirk on his face, knowing that Oscar exposed you two.
You raised an eyebrow. “My boyfriend,” you corrected. “Is probably fine. He has the fastest car on the grid, and a bunch of talent. I’m not worried.”
“Do you think the McLaren’s will beat you?”
“I’m a realist Will, and I’m not stupid. Obviously they’ll beat us, are you mental?”
“Ok,” he chuckled. “Thank you for your time.”
“Bye!” you smiled, walking away.
----------
Nicole called you as you stepped into the McLaren motorhome.
“Hey Nicole,” you smiled. “How are you?”
“I’d be better if my son wasn’t stupid,” she deadpanned.
You chuckled. “How is he stupid?”
“Are you with anyone now?”
“No, just in the McLaren motorhome trying to find your stupid son,” you shrugged. “What’s up?”
“He said you were his wife in an interview,” she sighed and you face-palmed. “Yeah.”
“Fuck’s sake,” you sighed, picking up the pace to try and find him quicker. You went to his driver’s room, the canteen, even Zak Brown’s office as you chatted to Nicole, then ultimately hung up to try and call Oscar.
He picked up after two rings. “Hey baby, everything alright? I’m looking for you right now and I can’t find you?”
“I’m in the McLaren motorhome,” you told him. “Did you tell someone that we were married?”
“Ummm… I don’t think so? I’m pretty sure I’ve been keeping it under wraps pretty tightly,” he chuckled. “Why?”
“Your mum just called me and told me you said I was your ‘wife’ in an interview, so… yeah,” you explained.
“Shit,” he whispered. “I’m sorry love, I didn’t mean to- it was a complete accident, I swear-”
“Osc, I’m not mad. To be honest I thought you would’ve been worse, I thought you would’ve accidentally posted the wedding photos or something,” you chuckled. “We should honestly just tell people. Anyways, come meet me, I want to see you.”
“I love you,” he was smiling, you could tell, happy you two didn’t have to hide it anymore. It had been both your ideas to hide the wedding, just to keep it quiet for a while. You asked all the drivers (all of them came), and anyone else within the F1 sphere to not post about anything to do with Ireland. You even went as far as to shut down an entire Terminal in the Dublin Airport to get people in and out inconspicuously. You just wanted your wedding to be yours, no one else's.
It was gorgeous though, getting married in a manor house on the coast of Galway with all of your closest family and friends was definitely one of the best days of your life. Your ‘honeymoon’ had consisted of showing both your extended families around Ireland, and spending nights watching films and reading books with Oscar by your side. It was relaxing, but not exactly what a honeymoon should be, so you two had a month-long trip to the Maldives planned for the winter.
Oscar wrapped his arms around you from behind and kissed your neck as he hummed a greeting.
“Well hello to you too,” you chuckled.
“I have such a gorgeous wife,” he smiled.
“I have such a gorgeous husband,” you smiled back. You turned around to him and kissed him quickly as a greeting, then you grabbed his hand and led him further into the motorhome. You two walked to his driver’s room, and you sat on the bed as Oscar pulled out his phone. You all sent texts out to various family and drivers, giving them permission to post pictures of your wedding, then shared your own.
"It's out," he turned to you.
You nodded, biting your lip to stop your smile. "It's out."
He smiled bashfully. :you're the best thing that's ever happened to me."
"Ditto," you chuckled and he laughed.
"Ditto?" he gawked. "Baby-"
"I'm kidding," you cupped his cheeks. "You're the best thing that's ever happened to me too. I couldn't imagine my life without you, I love you ."
He blushed and leant in, pressing your lips together. "Now..." he smirked. "We can put our rings back on."
You smiled as you both pulled the necklaces that held you rings on them out from around your necks. You had Oscar's, and Oscar had yours. You took it off the chain and pushed it onto his finger, smiling as he did the same to you. Just like your wedding day.
"I'm so glad I married you," you smiled.
"I'm so glad you married me too."
