5 weird things that you’ve eaten in the Devildom.
A/n: i thought about what foods MC might’ve eaten in the Devildom since I don’t really see it on here going into depth for any other reason than smut. (no hate to those who do, I enjoy it too)
Warnings this post includes: Freaky demon food, demon body parts , MC pulls a William Buckland ( look up what he did to a king of France), spiders with muscles, just a bunch of dumb weird shit, Mc also wears a suit, in Diavolos section, nothing super romantic happens but you can think of it as both,
5# Devil Spider Crab Sushi Roll
When Leviathan heard that you liked sushi he immediately got all giddy and excited. He was the first one out of all his brothers to try it and the first one to introduce it to the rest of them.
“Really? Leviathan being the one to introduce people to new things?” You smiled as he blushed and looked away from you, the idea of it was so rare that you couldn’t help but be an asshole about it.
“Hey! I’m a shut in not a gatekeeper! Now are you gonna try it or not?!” He practically shoved the wooden chopsticks into your chest and you took a minute to glance down at the odd looking sushi that was still trapped in it’s container.
It was wrapped in the same way regular sushi would be wrapped. Rice, seaweed, more rice. It was just the main ingredient that made you hesitant.
3 gigantic spiders legs poking out through the middle of all 7 pieces of sushi.
If Levi hadn’t told you that those were spider legs you probably would’ve thought they were crab legs that’s how red they were, but that was just the meat of the Devil Spider Crab, the fact that they were big enough to muscle and bone in their legs made you want to almost throw up.
Using your chopsticks you pluck one of the sticky pieces of sushi out of the container and raise it to your face. Sniff sniff. “Doesn’t smell like anything weird…” That’s always a good sign right? You almost place the sushi in your mouth until-
“WAIT!!!”
You tilted your head as Levi set down small bowl of bubbling hot blue sauce. Sniff Sniff. It had a strong sweet smell, but you don’t remember seeing anything similar to this in the store where you guys bought the sushi in…
“uhh….this kind of Sushi can be kinda dry….s-s-so I made some dipping sauce for you!!! I didn’t even have to alter it because all the ingredients are totally human friendly!” You couldn’t help but smile at Leviathan’s thoughtful. He really went out of his way to make sure everything could be enjoyed safely huh?
Taking up your chopsticks with the piece of sushi in its clutches you dunk it in the still bubbling sweet blue sauce, blow on it in an attempt to cool it off, before giving up and just shoving the entire thing in your mouth.
Crunch!
Leviathan watches it all with intensity, watching as you crunch of the legs of the spider, shoving the legs that poke out into your mouth before swallowing it all.
“S-so….what do you think?”
Placing a finger to your chin and staring at the floor with a hardened gaze while attempting to put the flavors together.
“Hmm…..tastes like honey barbecue chicken.”
Not really the reaction he was looking for but hey, at least you liked the sauce!
4# Hellfire Zombie Body Ramen LIMITED EDITION FLAVOR
“Holly shit! MC! Come check this out!” It was about two in the morning. You and Mammon were at a gas station a few blocks down from the HOL. It was an obviously a bad idea to be out so late on a school night but honestly when did you ever go through with your refusals to Mammon anyway?
You shuffle over to where Mammon was excitedly pointing at, a flavor of his favorite brand of ramen came into view, one that you never seen before…
“Is that a new flavor? I’ve never seen that in the grocery store we go to…” You squint your eyes at the green packaging. ‘Hellfire Zombie Body Ramen: LIMITED EDITION!!! SPICE: XXXX’ There was even a picture of a Zombie on the front.
“Thought they stopped sellin’ these but the gas station has been loaded wit em all this time! Ain’t that right Belial?”
The Demon cashier slowly blinked as you glanced down at his name tag, sure enough it said “Belial.”
“…yes.” Man if there was one thing that the Devildom and the human world had in common it would probably be their retail workers hate for their jobs.
After about twenty ish minutes, the two of you snuck your way into the kitchen to prepare for your midnight snack. Once it was finished, you had a styrofoam cup filled with the ramen that you had recently bought.
“Tada! Enjoy!” You take a look at the ramen for the first time. The noodles were a dark bloody red to represent intestines, a few specks of brain and some teeth were scattered around in the broth, finally when you poked the noodles around to inspect some more you saw a big yellow eyeball hidden in the noodles, something that you promptly handed over to Mammon’s cup.
“Hmm…” After some poking prodding, you finally take your fork and twist it around some of the noodles. Raising the steaming red strings of intestines to your nose to give it a sniff. Sniff sniff….ugh gross and smells slightly….burnt?
Whatever, you thought while deciding to just bite the bullet and take a chomp full of the zombie ramen…before spitting it back into the cup again.
COUGH COUGH HACK! “Oi! D-don’t go dying on me!” Mammon practically teleports to your side and rubs your back as you cough up a storm.
Cough! “…It’s-“ hack! cough! “burnt AND sour!” Pushing away the cup, you grab the glass of water Mammon offers to you with a guilty, shameful look in his face.
“…I might’ve been on my phone for a little too long while those were in the microwave….heh” HE PUT THEM BOTH IN AT THE SAME TIME? “a-and it was super rotten flesh flavor! S-so the sour part ain’t my fault!”
Mammon then grabs his cup and takes a fork full before taking a big bite out of his own ramen….before spitting it back into the cup as well…
“Eugh…that DOES taste like ass…”
3# SUPER CUTE KITTY MEW MEW PUDDING
You and Satan stared down in awe at the plate that was set in front of you by your waitress.
“Your ‘Super Cute Kitty Mew Mew Pudding’ with extra ‘Cute Kitty Kitty Mew Mew sugar drizzle’….Lord Satan and….human master.” The waitress then grumbled about putting in her two week notice as more cats started surrounding your table.
“…It’s perfect”
“Marvelous….”
“A grace to this realm…”
“How could something ever be this glorious…?”
The two of you are, of course, talking about the giant massive portion of wiggling cat shaped pudding. It had everything on the head of a cat, two giantic ears, 8 whiskers, a big triangle nose and two adorable big eyes-
“Mew!”
and it was alive.
The two of you spent hours cooing and gushing over the Kitty pudding. Feeding it mapple syrup and sugar packs while one of the chefs goes on a tirade about how he’s ’Sick of his job.’ and ‘refuses to make another damn cat pudding for grown ass people.’ Oh yeah that’s right, about a good 70% of the people surrounding you had their own cute cat pudding and were happily munching away at it.
But not you and Satan no no no.
…Well, at least not yet. You had to get attached first!
So about 30 minutes before closing, you can Satan scooped up a massive ear of the kitty pudding and tap the ends of your spoons together.
Click!
“Cheers to cat cafes?” He smiled as you smiled warmly right back at him, glad that you approved of his new use of human lingo.
“To cat cafes!”
The pudding itself wasnt particularly all that special, but it wasn’t about the taste it was about the effect. Once you chewed the pudding into little bits the kitty just multiplied into even more tiny kitties, now your mouth was filled with meowing tiny kittens!
“This is heaven…”
“Indeed”
2# RAD CAFETERIA FOOD.
Quietly standing on the lunch line you watch as the goblin women in front of you, green skin, red lipstick, with a cigarette in her mouth, scoop up a large amount of dark purple slop and raise it up towards you slightly.
“Move ova ya tray.” She says bluntly in a deep raspy voice probably due to all the smoking she’s done. You do as you are told, shakily holding out your tray as she plopped the mush of dark purple slop right down in the biggest section of your tray.
“T-thank you ma’am…” Her face lights up for a second after you give your gratitude, before she slams down another big portion of purple bullshit on your tray again…mostly likely a reaction from your manners. Seems like the staff here aren’t exactly used to that…
You take a seat next to Beelzebub after paying for your food, by the looks of it he was on his 7th tray, staring intensely at it.
Munch Munch Chew “You gonna-“ gulp “finish that?” Guess the uncertainty on your face was too obvious.
“The lunch lady on line 9 gave me extra…I’m not sure if i should eat it but I don’t wanna be rude…” You continue to stare at your plate while looking back at the goblin lady who was still serving a very long line of hungry RAD students.
“You mean Ms.Pruin?” Beel questions as he slides over his next plate. “She’s the best cook in RAD, her food is really good. You should give it a try.”
You look over at the goblin lady, now Ms.Pruin, once again, still working tirelessly serving hungry students but every now and then glancing over at your direction with a hopeful look in her eye.
Well…if Beel says it’s the best, it’s gotta at least be somewhat okay, right. With that you take your spoon and scoop up a portion of the purple slop and stick it right into your mouth.
Munch munch munch
You brace yourself for a wave of overwhelming foreign flavors, something nasty, something that would numb your tongue right out your mouth, something-
Huh?
“Wait…there’s no flavor!” You stared at your spoon in confusion before taking some more bites out of the slop. Nothing.
“Really? Let me see.” Beel takes your spoon from you and pops a large portion into his mouth, munching on it carefully before swallowing it all down before putting a finger to his chin…then his face lights up.
“The original recipe has an ingredient that’s deadly to humans, angels, and even some demons. She must have taken it out and given you a modified version of the dish.”
You smiled wildly to yourself before gobbling up the rest of your tasteless lunch with glee and from that day, you made sure to always get your lunch from Line 9.
1# Demon Heart.
You sat from across Diavolo at the table outside in the large gazebo in the middle of the pond. Glistening clear water so still surrounds the two of you. Schools of fish circling around you constantly, the trees droop down and sway with the wind, flowers of all different colors are scattered all around the two of you. Just the two of you.
You unconditionally straightened your tie as Diavolo stares at you, elbows set down right on the edge of the edge, resting his chin on the back of his hands, staring. Deeply and lovingly.
“I cannot express enough to you enough how happy I am that you accepted my invitation.” You sigh, glad that he was the one to break the tense silence.
“No problem Lord Diavolo, I mean I don’t think anyone would turn down the opportunity to come to a place like this. It’s gorgeous.” You look around some more, taking in all the details as you were sure that you wouldn’t be coming back here anytime soon.
“I’m sure after that long day at RAD as well as that car ride, that you must be starving yes?” You nodded, Diavolo has asked you not to eat lunch after you agreed to his invite.
“I’m glad. I have a surprise for you.” As soon as he said that, Barbatos as well as some other staff members of the Demon Kings Castle, two hidden dishes are set in front of you both. His is revealed while yours stays in front of you. Some fancy looking meat and strange looking vegetables on the side, drizzled over the meat was bright blue sauce.
“The food looks amazing.” It looked like something you’d see in a five Michelin star restaurant, the fact that he got to eat things like that every single day whenever he wanted was a concept that you were still struggling to comprehend, even after all the time you’ve known him.
“Yours is something much grander. I promise.” With those words, he moves over your plates and take your hands into his own. Looking at you with full sincerity.
“MC…by now you know of my dream for all three realms, peace, equality, and prosperity for all.” You watch as frowns in shame after he spoke.
“However…give our past with eating humans in various ways, myself included,I feel as if that it would be right to set things even. An eye for an eye.”
You squint at him, what was he saying? Did he mean what you really think he means? There’s….there’s no way he actually….
Before you could even form another thought the your dinner plate was revealed, and you could stop your head from looking down.
“…huh?”
A big, brownish, reddish, demon heart laid in the middle of your plate, right in front of you, cleaned and prepared for your consumption.
He was literally letting you eat his heart to atone for his past.
“You don’t have to eat it, I would never force you to do something. However do know that I have more where that came from, I’m sure it’ll grow back eventually.” While you only really heard bits and pieces of that due to the fact that you were still in shock, you got the message.
“….MC?” Finally you relaxed your shoulders and calmed down, before a smile came on your face as you looked at Diavolo.
“I’ve eaten many strange things before in this world. But I’ve never eaten the heart of a future demon king before.”
And before he could get another world in, you sliced up the heart and gobbled it all up, bite by bite by bite. It tasted like human world meat….which kind, you weren’t exactly sure, more like all of them at once but you were sure about one thing.
“How does it taste?”
You grin widely.
“Tastes like home.”

Hey, how are you? could you write something with blackcat!reader? maybe they are in college and after a patrol peter manages to follow her and discovers that she lives in a frat next to his. Peter discovers her identity and is surprised that she went to school with him in midtown but doesn't remember him, just spiderman and the relationship they had before the spell.
(does that make sense? I don't know if it does, but whatever you want to do with it is completely fine✨️)
Oh boy, oh boy I love Blackcat x Spider-man as a couple. Me and Felicia are equally obsessed with Spider-man.
Thank you for the request! I really appreciate it and I hope I do well! University is kicking my ass right now.
pairing: college!Peter Parker x Fem!blackcatReader; Post nwh
word count: 3 k
warnings: It's cringe on purpose; drinking
Peter hated the state his life was in. He knew things were better the way they are now, for his safety, for everyone's. But it didn't mean he hated it any less. All his closest friends were at MIT and didn't even remember him. Not as Peter Parker at least. So, he decided it would be best not to go there after all. The idea of trying to get close to them again was giving him a headache. He desperately wanted to do it but he had to stop himself because it was better off this way. That was what he believed, at least.
If people could remember who he was, they would have been very surprised that he ended up being a frat guy in college. He didn't expect to become one either. After all, he thought these things were lame, propaganda from dumb movies or dream-sellings from romance novels. But Peter Parker was a frat guy. There was something about brotherhood that gave him some sense of security and comfort now that a new leaf was turned. It reminded him of the time he spent with the Avengers, in a way. He liked not feeling alone. The months he spent at college made him feel normal to some extent. He actually enjoyed this period of confusion, he could finally relax for a bit and feel normal. Go to a few parties, do his homework. It was nice, but so goddamn boring.
His life seemed so fucked-up, so different. He hadn't been on patrol for months, the thought of Spider-man was just too overwhelming. Plus, he needed to recover from everything he went through both emotionally and physically. He wanted to put the mask on again but whenever he did, he got vivid flashbacks - almost losing MJ, May dying. It would all come back to him, cold sweat running down his back, tears in his eyes. He just couldn't handle being Spider-man. But when he saw Black Cat running around in the streets close to his campus one night, everything changed.
All of the memories from patrols with the girl in a black suit hit him like a train. She never knew who was behind the mask. And somehow Peter felt like she saw who he really was anyway. The urge to put the costume on was strong now, plus he had added some new upgrades he needed to try out anyway. So, on the most ordinary wednesday night, Peter put on the spider suit again, and jumped out of the window of his bedroom to go on patrol.
He was swinging around the city and it felt like a walk in the park. It seemed like he had forgotten how freeing it could be. Despite all of the negative feelings linked to the red and black suit, he found comfort in it now. The memories were still there, in his mind, and the people he loved were there too. He owed that much to them, to keep their legacy alive, even if they're gone now. With time, he was sure he could heal. Time was all he needed.
Suddenly, his spider-sense tingled, making his head shoot to his left. He was swinging by some old brick buildings around his campus when Black Cat practically tackled him into a wall, wrapping both her arms and legs around his torso. He turned his back to take the hit for both of them, wrapping one arm around her waist for support. Sidey used the other hand to continue swinging both of them around the city.
"SPIDER!" she said, hugging him tightly. "Mi amor, I hate you, where have you been?"
"Looking for trouble, as usual." he said with a laugh. Peter actually enjoyed her warm embrace for once.
He never had anything against the girl, her excessive flirting and implications that she was in love with him could get a bit out of hand sometimes, but he found it charming. Plus, before he was dating someone else and he couldn't really pay her the attention she craved from him. He actually missed that more than he had previously realised.
"You still have a girlfriend?" She asked, her head rested on his collarbone for a while.
Peter landed both of them on a rooftop, letting her step on her own as her limbs untangled from his torso. She placed her hands on her hips, foot tapping on the ground while she waited for his answer.
"Actually, no. I don't."
Her eyes sparkled with his words, throwing herself at him again. Her arms wrapped around his neck.
"Oh, Spider! I'm so happy! And sorry, obviously, why did you two end it?"
Peter usually would reject the affection she offered, but now he needed it more than anything. She was the closest thing to a friend he had left. They finally let go and he still wasn't talking. She tought the break-up was probably still fresh.
"Okay, Spider. Patrols haven't been the same without you, I missed you." she told him, her hand resting against his cheek.
Oh how she wanted to kiss him, like usual. He used to jump and run whenever she touched him, in fear that it would somehow affect his relationship with MJ. But now he didn't. He let her touch his face, smiling softly behind the mask. Even if everything was fucked up, even if everything was different for him now, she just wasn't. She was the only thing that remained like a token from his past life. The Black Cat was the only thing he had left.
---
By the end of their patrol both of them felt really beat up. Fighting crime was not an easy job, especially when your opponents were skilled. No major super-villains were threatening New York right now, but there still were bad guys to fight.
Spider-man and Black Cat were sitting on the edge of a rooftop, swinging their legs as they took a moment to breathe. Cat had a few scratches here and there and Spider-man was probably bruised under the mask as well.
"Spider, this was so much better with you here!" She exclaimed.
The wind blew her hair gently to the side while she looked down on New York. Peter turned his head to look at her, her face showered in the sparkling city lights. He thought about how pretty she actually was, but he never had the chance to notice that before. Maybe it really was the comfort that she gave him that was making his heart beat faster while he stared at the scene. She looked like a Van Gogh painting - vibrant, breathtaking, gently touched by the warm light.
"Yeah." He replied, making her look at him in return.
"You were totally falling in love with me right now, weren't you?" she said with a giggle.
"What? No, no, no, no." he shook his hands in defence, denying her accusation.
She stood up, looking somewhere ahead of her.
"I would love to stay and let you fall deeper in love with me, but I have to run, early morning tomorrow." And with that she left.
Peter lay down on the rooftop for a little while, overthinking her words. Was he actually falling in love with her? Maybe... He didn't want to jump to conclusions, he didn't want to make her a rebound after MJ either. It was starting to mess with him, just as he found some serenity. It was like he couldn't have a single moment of peace in this costume. After a good 15 minutes, Peter decided it was time to swing back to the house, just like Black Cat, he had classes early in the morning.
He had almost reached his place when a familiar figure caught his attention. He stopped, sticking to a wall just to make sure. It was Black Cat, and she was on campus. His campus. Well this was getting a bit too interesting to pass up. He crawled and jumped around the buildings to follow her, stopping when she did. He climbed up a wall to a house next to where the cat stopped, peeking just enough to see clearly what was going on. The Black Cat took her mask off, placing it in a gym bag that was hidden next to the back door. His mouth flew open when he realized he finally knew who she was. Not only was she someone on campus, living a sorority right next to his frat house, but he also knew her personally. Peter hid behind the wall completely, trying to process the information. It was you, the girl that he went to high school with, the girl that took AP history with him. It took him a few seconds, but when he looked again, you were already gone. A room in the house light up soon after, and he started feeling guilty for what he did. He would have hated it if someone did this to him.
"Good going, Spyder-man!" he cussed at himself, finally going home for the night.
He tried not to make things awkward with you for the next few weeks, but oh gosh was he terrible at that. The two of you were never close, the fact that you came from the same school never really meant anything to the either of you. But now that Peter knew your secret identity, it meant everything to him. It felt like he had found a long lost friend in you. He tried to get closer, talk to you more whenever he saw you, even invite you to the latest frat party. If he knew one thing about Black Cat, she loved having fun. And what better occasion to have fun than an actual frat party, at a frat house.
Of course, you agreed. What was one night away from the crime scenes? You deserved that, plus, Spider-man got you covered, right? Nothing could really go wrong, you literally needed seconds to get into the suit and go if you had to. You did find Peter Parker's new attitude towards you a bit peculiar, but it was cute nonetheless. You were only really interested in Spider-man, but you loved attention no matter who was giving it. Outside of the costume, you still had this care-free, very self-assured personality but a little toned down. It wasn't always easy to be the one to fight the battles for yourself all of the time. And you had to do it, every single day. Maybe there was a reason why you liked Spider-man so much, you two felt like a team, like it wasn't just you alone against the world for a change.
----
The time of the party came quicker than you thought. Your "sisters" were already pulling you by the hand out of your room. In true Black Cat spirit, you just had to wear a tight black dress with a slit on the side. And a choker around your neck. It was only normal to make heads turn when you walked in the frat house. Your sorority wasn't one that liked partying all of the time, but when you did party, things just got crazy.
"Y/N!" you heard, turning your head to see an unfamiliar boy.
He shoved a cup in your hand.
"Peter is in the backyard, wanted me to take you to him when you got here."
"Yeah, cute, but that's not gonna happen." You winked at the boy and walked off to mingle somewhere else.
You actually really wanted to dance with your girls tonight. And you did just that, a full cup in your hand the whole time. At some point you couldn't really remember how much you drank, there were some shots involved. You were having so much fun, even dancing on top of a table. A hand grabbed your arm suddenly making you look, it was the guy from earlier tonight, you got off the table with a jump so you could talk. You were obviously annoyed by his interruption, crossing your arms in front of your chest. He scratched the back of his head nervously.
"Look, I'm so sorry to bother you, but it's been 2 hours and Peter was asking me about you-"
"I don't care." you interrupted him, turning around with the intention of leaving him there. He placed a hand on your shoulder to stop you.
"Please, I've been lying to him for two hours, I'll be in so much trouble."
You looked at him over your shoulder, gently removing it with your hand.
"If Parker wants to see me so bad, he should come get me." You winked at him and left.
Dancing on top of tables didn't seem so fun now, and your head was feeling pretty light from all of the alcohol. You overheard some girls from your house mention a pool and you immediately walked over to them, placing your arms on the shoulders of each one of them, standing between them.
"Did I hear pool?" the three of you giggled after the question.
----
Your dress was wet, along with your hair and pretty much everything else on your body. Yes, the three of you really did jump in the pool, which caused a chain reaction of other people jumping in as well. Soon the party had drunk, wet people, running around everywhere. Cats rarely liked water and you were no exception. You didn't mind it as much as long as you weren't in the costume. So, after swimming for a little bit you got out, squeezing out some water from the hem of your dress when you felt something cover your shoulders. You turned around, your eyes meeting Peter's, who had placed a towel on you and smiled. You squinted your eyes at him, letting go of the dress and standing up straight to look at him.
"It's cold." he said
"Yeah, thanks?"
It was so sweet of him to be so considerate, it made you feel very weird things, but maybe it was the alcohol. Peter put his hands in his pockets, rocking back and forth on his heels nervously.
"So..." he started "How's it going?"
"Are you usually this awkward or...?"
''Yeah, kinda"
"So it's not my stunning beauty, just you?"
"No, well I mean, your beauty does make it a lot worse for me, but no."
You laughed, drying your hair off with the towel.
"If I didn't know any better, I would assume you were crushing on me." you said, giving him back his towel.
"No, what? What gave you that impression?"
"Doesn't matter, I'm in love with someone else."
"Wait, who?" he asked, trying to act confused.
You turned your back to him, trying to hide the blush you had on.
"Well, I don't really... know yet." you said, already taking off so you could hide from him.
-----
It was kind of embarrassing to admit that you were in love with someone you didn't really know. It's not like you didn't know Spider-man, you just didn't know who the person behind the mask was. But truthfully, you never felt a need to do that. You were content with the teammate you had, the person who was there to watch your back. You were in love with the person who would put himself in harm's way to save others, the person who always seemed to know what to say. He was so brave and dedicated to his mission, his heart was pure. Sure, you used to be curious about his identity in the beginning but with time it just stopped mattering. There was something bigger, something greater about your love for him because of this.
And you couldn't help but feel conflicted when you started feeling the same things towards Peter Parker. He definitely wasn't the first guy to express an interest in you, or be consistent with said interest but there was something about him that just made you feel warm inside. Maybe it was his nerdiness and how smart he was, or it was the way he would smile whenever he saw you. How he would try so hard to find something to talk about with you and how he would research any topic you would mention. He was so overly-sweet and protective that it brought out a soft side of you, one you didn't really know you had before that.
So, meeting Spider-man and Peter was becoming increasingly difficult for you. It got to the point where you would avoid Spider-man on patrol so you could spare yourself some emotional damage. It didn't take him long to figure you out though.
"Are you going to tell me what's going on finally?" Spider-man asked you one night after probably the worst patrol the two of you ever had. You were so distracted the whole time that the two of you took quite the beating. His costume was torn and so was yours, wounds and bruises everywhere.
"I really don't know." you said, pressing your back against a brick wall in the alleyway the two of you hid. You slid down the wall, sitting on the ground and hugging your knees.
Spider-man sat down next to you, pressing his head to the wall and looking up at the metal fire-escape that the two of you were sitting under.
"Something from your personal life?"
"Well, I'm not so sure."
"How can you not be sure?"
"You know I have this undying love for you, right."
He laughed, turning his head to look at you.
"I know."
"Well, I might have it for someone else too."
"Someone else?"
"Yeah, he's... well he's not as great as you are, not even close, but he has this nerdy charm about him."
You turned to him, cupping his cheek with your hands while you looked at the mask. You leaned in, placing a soft kiss where his lips were supposed to be.
"You're still my greatest, biggest love, Spider."
He looked at you for a while, his hand hesitantly pulling his mask up enough to uncover his lips before he pulled you in for a real kiss. It was a sweet, warm kiss, your lips moving together while your hands were holding onto each other. It was a kiss that the two of you had anticipated to share for so long, dreaming and imagining how it would go. And it went even better.

"Something just told me it was that way."
"What?" Nick asks Chris.
"Something inside of me." He answers, "I don't know it could've been the coolers too."
"You're driving me insane." Dani huff following the three.
"Take the Takis." Chris passes them to Matt to hold as he opens the cooler to the ice, "We need a cart."
"A cart, Chris?" Matt asks so Chris takes off to get one, "How much ice is he planning on getting?"
"Too much. A waste of money." Dani laughs looking at him, "Wanna hug?" She smiles.
"Eww," Matt jokes with her.
"Rude." She turns away.
"I'm joking." He puts the Takis aside so he could hug her.
As her arms go around his waste his goes around her shoulders, "Enough." Nick says as they hug long enough for him causing Dani to laugh.
"You know Dani never wants a hug from me." Matt says still hugging her starting to rock them side to side.
"Because you're not me." Nick tells him.
Dani looks up at Matt with a smile causing him to smile back down at her, "Just look at this little Tater-Tot." He cups her face in his hands.
"I hate you." Dani moves away from him.
"No more hugs?" He laughs as she ignores him.
When Chris comes back with a cart he gets five bags of ice to add to the other five now making it a total of ten bags of ice.
Back at the house they use Nick's bathroom to do the challenge and Dani didn't help set up, "Dani refuses to help." Matt tells the camera.
"Because I don't care to help." She says watching them from Nick's bed.
"You're still taking part though." Chris looks over at her so she gives a thumbs up.
"Oh my god, where's my Pepsi?" Chris freaks out looking at the tub.
"It's in there." Nick points it out sticking his hand in the water before pulling it out, "Oh- my- god. I'm gonna have to like get naked right away."
"I have to pretend that I'm a can of Pepsi." Chris talks himself up before he goes in.
"You basically are." Dani joins them in the bathroom so they all laugh at what she said.
"In a big cooler." He adds going over to the tub sitting on the side.
"With socks on?" Dani makes a face hating the idea of wet socks.
Chris makes a face just by putting his heel in the water, "I can't. I can't do it. I can't do that." He says before trying again, "You have to go with the flamingo technique first." He gets in the water on one foot before getting back out. "I can't feel my foot at all. At all whatsoever."
Once again he goes to try again sitting down on the side before trying to sit in the water. The three tell him to get in all the way but he couldn't even get both legs all the way under the water. Trying again he goes like a spider man pose hovering over the water before squatting in the water.
"Go come on. You're doing the same shit over and over." Nick gets annoyed.
Chris gets on his knees before bending forward trying to get his shoulders wet then gets out.
Up next was Matt and he sits on the side putting his feet in, "If I think my feet stay in here long enough. Then I can just..."
"Get numb enough to slide in." Dani says so he nods his head, " I think you'll do better than Chris."
"Thank," Chris slightly shoves her as Matt works his way in, "That's what I did. See you feel your nuts just get cold." He tells Matt who just looks at him before getting out to try it again and gets all the way down as Chris cheers him on.
At the moment Matt was the winner till it was Nick's turn, who just goes for it not wasting a second. He sits down crossing his legs sliding down till his shoulders went under too. He stayed in for a few good seconds before quickly getting out tuning the shower on getting in the hot water to warm off.
"Now I have to beat that?!" Dani shouts looking at the water than Nick.
"You would have to last a little longer than me." Nick tells her.
"I've learned she's competitive. So she's gonna fucking try. She's gonna kill us if she's last." Matt goes on a little rant.
"You bet I'm going to try to win." She walks closer to the tub.
"Get in." Chris tells her as she psyches herself out.
"Hush." She tells him before stepping in, "It's not cold. It's not cold." She getting in all the way.
"Just gotta out last Nick." Chris tells her as she lays there with only her head out of the water shivering.
"I think she's out doing him already." Matt keeps track of the time.
"How are you feeling" Chris asks as she was still in.
"Oh, I'm doing g-great."
"Yes!" Nick cheers for her.
"Amazing Dani." Chris says as she gets out.
"I can't even feel myself shaking off." She shakes her body.
"Where did the other towel go?" Matt looks for it for her.

Arachne Law
You stood outside, excited about who your new roommate would be. You signed up for a program that incorporated supernatural creatures or someone would say monsters among humans, and a lot of your friends praised the program.
That's why you decided to register there too. However, you had no idea who would be assigned to you. The agency even came to your house and, at their expense, remodelled your guest room to accommodate your new roommate. However, according to that, you didn't find out much. Maybe just that it won't be an aquatic creature.
You were even more shocked when a truck pulled up in front of your house along with a car that belonged to the agency. You immediately thought it might be a centaur or something.
However, when the truck door opened and you saw giant spider legs climbing out, you immediately broke into an icy sweat.
You immediately remembered the fear box that you just crossed off. The list of species was long and you didn't even get to the end. However, you haven't read anything about spiders anywhere, so you didn't even think to fill it in.
The fact was that you suffered from arachnophobia. You didn't scream and run headlong, but you didn't look for it either. You hated having to come into contact with spiders. And now you had to live with one? That felt like a nightmare come to life.
"Are you all right?" the agency worker asked you as he got out of the car.
“Yeah, I’m fine,” you lied and smiled. You didn't want to come across as racist, especially when you didn't even know what your roommate was supposed to be like. You took a deep breath and tried to sound friendly.
"That’s good. I'd like to introduce you to your roommate. This is Trafalgar Law,” the agency worker said as the spider walked over to you.
“I'm Y/N, nice to meet you. I hope you like it here," you said with a smile, even though your voice trembled slightly against your will. You had the impression that the agent didn't notice anything.
Law, on the other hand, saw right through you. But he didn't say anything about it and let you deal with it. He was interested in how far you could go.
"Nice to meet you. I think we'll get along great," he said with a slight smirk on his face
This seemed to be enough for the agency. With that, they bid you farewell and left. Now you had a better chance to see him, even if you didn't want to stare that much.
From the waist down, he had a giant black spider body and you noticed that he had a white smudge resembling a smiley face on the spider body. He had 8 long slender spider legs.
At the waist, where as a human his legs would start, he had pedipalps that resembled human legs up to mid-thigh. From the knees down, they were short spider legs.
His arms were also covered in the same exoskeleton as his legs and body. The last distinctive feature was his eyes, as he had additional smaller pairs of eyes above the main pair.
That day passed quite calmly. You only spoke the basics and there wasn't much that could be done. The next morning was quite a shock for you.
You were making breakfast when Law walked into the kitchen. You were still sleepy and he completely caught you by surprise when he wrapped his arms around your neck from behind and his pedipalps around your waist.
"You look delicious in the morning. That I would wrap you up and have you for a snack,” he whispered in your ear, where upon you felt a weak string, a web as he loosely wrapped it around your shoulders.
He really wanted to eat you for a snack? Did his kind really eat people? You didn't have the slightest idea, because they only wrote a minimum about them in the brochures.
But just the way he wrapped the web around you and kept holding on to it made you shiver. You thought you had your fear of spiders under control, but this was too much.
“Y/N-ya. Y/N-ya,” you caught his voice as he shook your shoulders weakly, his face had worry written on it. "Breathe. I won’t eat you. I promise,” he said trying to calm you down.
"D-do you promise?" you asked in a cracked voice.
“I promise. I was just messing with you,” he said and was glad to see how you slowly calmed down.
After all this, however, he made fun of you here and there and teased you. Thanks to him, you also gradually overcame your fear of spiders. You didn't even have a choice. Although, you'd say Law was the only arachnid you didn't mind at all.
In addition, due to your clumsiness, it sometimes happened that you cut or scraped yourself and then you went straight to Law.
Over time, you found out that he was studying to become an interspecies doctor and this was an opportunity for him to train on humans. In addition, he had the biggest problem with practising with people, because they didn't want to come to him very much.
It was exam season for you and Law's exams were much more difficult than yours. He regularly studied late into the night to be sufficiently prepared.
You were making coffee and decided to make him a mug as well. However, you had never seen him drink coffee before, so you had no idea how much he liked it. You made the same cup for him as for yourself and brought it to him.
You knocked on the door and entered the room. He was sitting at his desk and was buried up to his nose in notes and textbooks.
“I brought you coffee,” you said, placing the mug in front of him.
“Thanks, Y/N-ya,” he said taking the mug in his hands. “This is the first time I've tasted it,” he said, and your guess was confirmed.
"Then you'll see if you like it," you smiled. Law nodded and sniffed the drink first before taking a sip. He seemed happy with his coffee.
He finally decided to take a break from studying and enjoy a coffee with you. As you both finished your mugs, you noticed a faint blush on his cheeks. But before you could ask him what was wrong, he leaned over and hugged you.
“You are so soft and warm. You're warm. I could easily have you as a pillow. Y/N-ya…” he said snuggling closer to you.
"I could easily fall asleep like this. You are so soft and cute…” he mumbled.
You had no idea what happened to him. It wasn't until the morning when he was hungover that you found out that for spiders like him, coffee was like alcohol and vice versa. From then on, you always brought him some booze instead of coffee.
And when you wanted to drink again, you drank your favourite alcohol while he drank coffee.
You knew Law had just finished his last exam so you thought he was catching up on sleep when you didn't see him in the morning. However, when he doesn't come out of the room even in the evening, it bothers you.
You wanted to make sure he was okay. You walked over to the door from his room and knocked. You were answered by a weak groan.
You immediately opened the door and walked inside. Law was lying in his hammock, as a normal bed was small and especially uncomfortable for him.
Law was much paler than normal, with giant circles under his eyes and white spots on his body that were most prominent on his spider half.
The room was dark and as you opened the door, he groaned more.
"What's wrong? Shall I call the doctor?” you had no idea how to help him. Law shook his head and took your hand.
“No doctor… I couldn't stay,” he said, still holding your hand.
"What do you mean? You are obviously sick…” you furrowed your brows.
Law knew how you were afraid of him like a spider in the beginning and he didn't want to give you reasons why you should be afraid of him. However, when he saw how worried you were about him, he decided to confess to you what was wrong with him.
"I come from a small island. All the other Arachne from that island are dead because something is missing from our bodies. Some thought we were sick…” he began to explain. You guessed these were the symptoms.
"When I was little, I was taken in by vampires, and I discovered by chance that blood helps me suppress the disease, the weakness. However, the agency does not know about it. If they figured it out, they'd send me back. Just getting here as an arachnid was difficult for me, and if they found out that I was drinking blood on top of all that, it would be almost impossible," he explained tiredly. You could see how exhausted he was.
"And how much blood would you need?" you asked him.
"Just a little. Much less than vampires,” he admitted. You didn't really know what he meant by that, but you definitely didn't want Law to be taken away for it.
“I can offer you mine,” you finally said, looking into his eyes. You saw how surprised he was.
"I can't ask that of you," he shook his head weakly before collapsing back into the net.
"Do you have a better idea?" You asked him. You walked over to him and took his hand. Law closed his eyes and groaned. At the moment, even thinking about him was too strenuous.
"Are you sure about that?" he asked you tiredly. You nodded your head firmly and gave his hand a light squeeze. Law sighed and let you crawl into the net to him.
As you held his hand, he lifted it to his mouth and kissed your wrist. He didn't want to bite your neck, because that would be harder to disguise. He looked into your eyes one last time if he could have seen hesitation, but it was completely absent from your expression.
He took a breath before carefully biting your wrist. However, he was careful not to bite too much. As he tasted your blood, he had the impression that he had never tasted anything better.
He could feel his strength slowly coming back, but he knew it would take a while for your blood to work. Once he was sure he had enough and only took what he needed, he pulled away.
Blood was still flowing faintly from the wound, which he licked and when it stopped flowing, he kissed the bitemark.
“Thank you,” he said softly, pulling you close. You lay there with him in the net with his head on your chest as if he was listening to your heart.
“I'm glad I could help,” you said softly with your fingers playing with his hair.

Peter Parker is staring at the ceiling and wishing he were somewhere else. This place is not his home. This apartment with its crumbling drywall and uncomfortable amount of black mold in the corners is not the place he grew up, it is not known by anyone Peter has ever cared for before, and it only serves to separate him even further from the life he once led.
All this is unavoidable, but if Peter slumps onto his bed (too small, too hard to be the one from before) and fixes his eyes up above, he can just pretend that he’s back there again. Back at home. Back where everything made sense, where his friends remembered who he was and he still had at least one family member still alive and breathing.
He’s better at excusing away the present moments on some days rather than others. The illusion’s slipping away for now; Peter squints one eye shut slowly, then the other, trying to get the world to lose just enough details so he won’t notice the fractures that could only belong to this apartment.
It’s not worth the effort, and soon enough Peter gives up, sitting up in a rush and swinging his legs over the side. There’s nothing he can do to pretend that he is back at home, that the life that had once seemed so certain isn’t locked away in the past, never to be his again. This is him now, a shadowed sort of existence full of people who have never so much as heard the name Peter Parker in their lives. There is nobody in this world who knows him. It is some of the worst solitude he has ever endured.
Peter hadn’t counted on how truly terrible the loneliness would be. Maybe he’s grown to rely on his usual support group a little too much, and that’s why he’s so beaten down by this latest turn of events. Even when the rest of the world hated him when he was revealed as Spider-Man, he could still go to his friends for solace. Now, they have no idea who he is. How splendid.
He’s missing his friends a little extra today. That would explain why Peter grabs his Spider-Man suit and throws himself out into the brisk air with the usual flourish, why he finds himself heading to one specific rooftop before he can stop himself.
Only when Peter’s feet hit the ground and he catches himself in a tight somersault does he realize what he’s done. Peter stands up slowly, looking around. He hasn’t allowed himself to come back here, even after weeks of solitary patrols came and went. Peter pretends that he could reinvent himself whenever he wanted, but some part of him knows, has always known this: the worst pain of all has been losing Y/N, and he will never get over that.
Y/N L/N is an honor student at Midtown. Y/N was Peter’s best friend. More than that, Y/N was Peter’s partner in patrols. They were an inhuman with enhanced abilities; faster and stronger than any human being. Better in every way too, but maybe that’s just Peter’s faulty memories glorifying them in his eyes, gilding their every edge, making him miss them even more than before.
Peter has yet to run into Y/N as Spider-Man. He did that on purpose; they met as regular people first, so he has no idea if they would have any memory of their patrols together whatsoever. Peter knows that he cannot bear looking at Y/N and seeing no sign of all the hours they’ve spent fighting and dying for each other, so he stays away. Y/N has yet to track him down, so clearly his presumption about their memories was right.
Still, Peter is here now, a mistake to be sure. Peter allows himself one final moment of pretending that they might be coming for him. He deludes himself into thinking that he can hear the pattern of their feet now, the swing of their arm reaching towards him, a smile on their face. The two of them have done this so many times. What’s one more evening together? What’s one more night? Peter wouldn’t risk his life for anyone else. He would give it freely, and he did, and that is exactly why he cannot have Y/N anymore.
A voice sounds from behind him. It’s far too cold and untrusting to ever be Y/N’s, but maybe that’s because he hasn’t experienced what it’s like to be a stranger to them in years. Regardless, he knows now that he wasn’t merely conjuring up the sound of them approaching, they’re actually here.
“What are you doing here?”
The words, leveled at him like a blade, pierce through Peter’s best efforts at pretending this memory spell hasn’t affected him. He can practically feel the blood dripping out between his fingers.
Trying not to choke on the overwhelming tang of copper, Peter swallows back his regrets and does his best to speak with a level tone. “I’m just patrolling. Same as you.”
Y/N’s in their uniform for patrols, mask and all. Even so, he can sense the way their eyes are narrowing, tightening with suspicion. “You never come over here, Spider-Man. What changed?”
“Crime,” Peter says pleasantly, “there’s a lot of it, in case you haven’t noticed. Figured this view was as good as any.”
“Yeah, that’s why I’m handling it,” Y/N’s voice remains hard. “Go back to your part of the city. This area is mine.”
Peter forces himself to laugh. It’s easier than despairing over how quick they try to get rid of him, certainly a far cry from how close they’d been before the spell. “Surely you wouldn’t mind an extra pair of eyes watching your back. It’s dangerous out there.”
Y/N shakes their head decisively. “I’m good, thanks. Always have been.”
Peter can’t help a quiet plea. “Always?”
Y/N hesitates a second, but their stony demeanor comes back up again in a flash. “Always. Now go back to your part of the streets. I’m fine by myself.”
Peter sighs, the ghost of his last promise to track them down and make them remember him disappearing into the wintry night air. “Alright, then. If you’re sure.”
Y/N doesn’t respond to that, and Peter allows himself one last moment of torment before jumping off the edge of the building and swinging into the endless black. Unable to stop himself, Peter glances over his shoulder as he goes. He notices that Y/N had walked to the edge of the skyscraper, staring out after him in surprise. Maybe they don’t remember Peter’s casual way of launching himself over the edge. Or maybe he’s just gotten more careless since he stopped having someone to look out for him.
Regardless, it’s not like it matters now. Peter’s last hope was that Y/N would remember their time together on patrols, even if they wouldn’t remember that it was Peter behind the mask, but it looks like that’s over. He does his best to distract himself from the aching hole in his heart, but it’s no good. Peter can hear Y/N’s voice whispering in the space between his eyes, calling out to him like the old days. He was always more attuned to them than anyone else. Even MJ.
The shriek of sirens drags his thoughts from the past. Distantly, Peter realizes that they’re headed in the direction of Y/N’s usual patrol spot. He panics for a moment, scrambling for his phone so he can check the police radio networks he hijacked. After listening for a few moments, Peter learns that some big showdown is going down between some unidentified inhuman and Y/N.
The situation is not great, to say the least. Judging by the amount of property damage, Y/N isn’t winning the fight. Peter may have lost his place in their heart, but he’s not willing to lose them, too. Without another thought, he throws himself into the air again, swinging from web to web as fast as he can. The only thing on his mind is making it to Y/N as soon as he can.
Sure enough, the scene is bad. Peter gives himself about half a second before launching himself into the thick of things. Some inhuman who seems to have super strength is throwing cars, lamps, and everything in sight towards Y/N. They’re doing a pretty good job of dodging so far, but Peter can tell that they’re getting tired. At some point, they’re going to be unable to move fast enough to miss a blow, and it appears that moment is coming right now.
The enemy inhuman hurls two cars Y/N’s way. They’re able to avoid one, but the second one is thrown too quickly and there’s no way they can escape in time. Peter launches a spiderweb towards the car, sending it spiraling down the street instead. Surprised, Y/N turns towards him in unison with the other inhuman.
Peter’s main focus is taking out the maniac, though. Shocked revelations are going to have to come later. He quickly shoots two webs at the inhuman’s hands, tying them down to the road. Peter adds layer after layer of web. Y/N quickly knocks the guy out while he’s distracted, and Peter ties him to the ground with another web for good measure.
Only then does Y/N stalk towards Peter. “Once again, what the hell are you doing here?”
“Saving your life,” Peter points out somewhat needlessly.
Y/N groans, aggravated. “I didn’t need your help.”
“Actually,” Peter counters, “you would have been pancaked by that Honda Civic if you hadn’t, so really, I feel like you should be thanking me instead of yelling at me again.”
Y/N folds their arms across their chest. “Really?”
“Really,” Peter says, “although if you aren’t into the whole gratitude thing, I will accept it if you stop hating me instead.”
Y/N scoffs. “I just met you. I can hate who I please.”
Peter feels his heart sink in his chest for the dozenth time today. “Of course. We just met.”
Y/N cocks their head to the side. “What’s that about? That attitude.”
“Nothing,” Peter denies frantically, “absolutely nothing. Anyways, see you around, new best friend.”
He isn’t sure about it, but he swears he hears Y/N laugh as he swings away. It could just be his overactive imagination, of course, but Peter is certain that they might not completely hate him anymore.
It takes a few more weeks for Peter to be sure of that. The first few times Peter tries showing up to their patrol spot again, Y/N forces him to leave. After the fifth time, Peter stopped rolling up with an expectation of conversation and just perched somewhere on the side of the skyscraper. That was allowed. Eventually, they gave in and let Peter stand on level ground, if only for the claim that it was freaking them out to see Peter sticking to a vertical surface.
It’s not the same, even after Y/N begrudgingly lets Peter tag along on patrols. Of course, it never could be. Peter doesn’t know why he keeps expecting something to change, it never will. That sort of memory spell isn’t the type to break. Still, he keeps hoping.
If there’s one thing Peter should know, though, it’s that hope has no place in a life like his. Every time Peter has dared to enjoy a dream, it is taken from him. This is no exception.
They’re back on that rooftop one moonless night, staring out over the never ending expanse of cars coming and going. Peter is bothering Y/N because he won’t stop pointing out all the purple cars to pass through the streets (Y/N swore they’d never seen one, Peter thought otherwise). Y/N’s been doing their best to pretend Peter isn’t funny at all, but he knows he’s wearing them down.
His point is proven when Peter triumphantly points out not one but two purple cars side by side. Y/N groans. “Okay, you were right. Happy?”
“Thrilled,” Peter calls back, “I may never top this moment. Maybe I’ll print out a certificate to tape on my wall. On this day, Spider-Man proved his favorite patrol partner wrong.”
Y/N makes a choking sound. Peter knows it for what it is, though, and he spins around, arms raised in victory. “Was that a laugh? Did you just laugh? After all this time, you’re laughing at my joke. Now that’s a real success.”
Y/N indulges this for a moment, then fixes him with a typical piercing stare. “Why are you so excited about this? Most people would have given up on trying to win me over by now. What’s keeping you around?”
Peter sighs. “I know how good it is to be your friend. Maybe I want to have that.”
“How would you know?” Y/N’s tone grows suspicious. “You know something about me that you refuse to share. What is it?”
Normally, Peter would deflect with a casual joke and let the past die just like it always has. He’s been faulty in his defense, though, and keeps slipping up. Y/N’s noticed it, of course they have. Peter hasn’t exactly been the best at concealing his feelings, either. He references things that Spider-Man shouldn’t know about Y/N. And then there was that one time he accidentally used their name instead of the code name Y/N uses on patrols. He immediately clammed up and pretended he misspoke, but Y/N knew.
So, Peter lets the anger and sadness and deep, deep regret out. It’s been bottled up for so long that it feels good to finally say everything that’s been on his chest.
“I know that I want to be your friend because I already was, Y/N. I was your friend for years, and they were the best damn years of my life. I thought that there would never be another person for me like you. We were friends outside of patrols and everything. I was happiest when I was with you. You don’t remember a single moment we shared because I had to get someone to cast a memory spell so everyone would forget me.”
Y/N’s brow is arched. “A memory spell?”
Peter nods, keeping his eyes firmly trained on the dark night so he doesn’t have to look at them. “The universe was getting messed up. It was the only way. You made me promise that I’d come back and make you remember anyway. We both knew it wasn’t going to work, but the thought of forgetting everything we did together was so horrible that we pretended otherwise.”
Y/N’s voice cuts through the midnight air like a blade. “Prove it. Prove this is real.”
“Alright,” Peter says, and he starts to speak. He pulls off his Spider-Man mask as he starts in the hope that maybe it’ll make some difference, but he knows even before Y/N looks at him that it won’t.
“Your name is Y/N L/N and you were my best friend until you forgot who I was. You started going on patrols when you were sixteen because you could do things no one else could and it made you sick to your stomach with guilt to think that people were getting hurt and you weren’t stopping it. Your first uniform was made out of supplies from the craft store down the block. We made the second one together. At one point, you wanted a cape but we saw The Incredibles after school one day and you decided it would never work out.”
Peter takes a deep breath and continues. “The first time you almost died, you were trying to save people from a burning building. It was that apartment four streets over from yours, for a moment you thought you knew someone in there but you went in even after you realized they were just strangers. You still have a scar on your right shoulder from a burning beam falling on you. I brought you food for two weeks afterwards because you swore you were too tired to cook. That didn’t stop you from trying to climb out your window every night for patrols, though. I had to web your window shut to stop you.”
Peter laughs bitterly at the memory, but it turns sour in his mouth when he looks over and realizes that Y/N is clearly recalling none of this.
They pull off their mask too. “I probably don’t need this if you know me so well,” they say, gesturing at it.
Peter dares to nurture even the smallest bit of hope. “Does that mean–”
Y/N cuts him off with a simple shake of their head. “I’m sorry. Really, I am, but whoever you knew, that isn’t me anymore. I’m just some person. I’m not your Y/N.”
Peter nods stoically. “And you never have been. Listen, I’m sorry for all this. I should have just let it go.”
It doesn’t matter that he never could. Peter shoves his mask back on his face and heads out. The night air whips at him, threatening to send him spinning into the multitude of skyscrapers surrounding him on either side, but Peter keeps going. Anything is better than staying still and letting the pain overwhelm him. He really thought he could convince Y/N to remember him, but even his best efforts are worthless.
Peter settles on a tall roof of an office building. He lands in a contained roll but just stays there on the ground, chest heaving, staring up at stars that will never look back on him in quite the same way. He knew the spell was permanent, but he had hoped that somehow he would be able to change Fate’s mind and let this all work out.
Footsteps appear around the corner of the roof. It appears that Peter’s time of self-pity is over. He gets up without looking at the intruder, assuming it to be the owner of the office building. Peter opens his mouth to apologize for trespassing, but the words dry up in his throat when he realizes that it’s Y/N who’s followed him all this way instead.
Their eyes are wide, but their stature is as steady as ever. “I may not be your Y/N,” they repeat, “but I could be. I don’t have your memories, but I have mine. Maybe I don’t want to be alone anymore.”
“You never have been,” Peter says softly.
He slowly crosses the roof until he’s in front of them. Y/N’s breath is rough in their chest, but they still look at him like Peter is all they’ve ever needed. Peter forgot what that felt like, how it struck him to be this close. It appears time has its way of messing with him as well.
“Before the spell,” Y/N whisper hesitantly, “were you and I– were we just friends, or–”
They can’t manage to complete the sentence. Peter knows enough of their mind to guess at the rest.
“No,” he answers, “just friends. Nothing more.”
“What if I want to change that?” Y/N asks tentatively.
Peter stares at them, then damns the past to the past. It is dead and gone and buried, but the future is as alive as ever. For once, that doesn’t haunt him like it always has.

Avatar Head Canons pt 1
[Avatar is consuming my life, I am have so man hyperfixations and fandoms on the go atm its insane. So we've started on the head canon route. Enjoy!]
-> Even after living years after being fully na'vi Jake still has nightmares about the mission where he lost his legs, it haunts him remembering being told he would never walk again. He wakes up sweating in the night and he always goes around the village, running, jumping and climbing on whatever he can to remind himself he can.
-> Neytiri got really self conscious when she was pregnant with Neteyam, she knew what she was giving up (even if it was only for a brief time) when she decided to have a baby but she still struggled with being incapacitated, not being able to fight, hunt and fly like she used to. Jake often helped her but she didn't want it, only when she was completely incapable of achieving something on her own (mainly late into the pregnancy) would she allow Jake to help her.
-> Neteyam was always very protective of his family, even Spider. He could never stand the idea of losing them and he took it upon himself to care for everyone whenever he could. Even his parents, it put a lot of strain on him but if it meant his family was safe then he was fine. The stress took its toll after a while. (I feel like that less of a head canon and more of a fact)
-> Lo'ak tried his hardest to live up to Jake's expectations and to make Neytiri proud, but when his relationship with Jake became strained after too many mistakes and close calls he started to realizes how much he was failing. (A bit clique but do I care? No. I will defend Lo'ak with my life).
-> Kiri hated the idea of not knowing the reality of her conception. She loved Grace so much but was frightened by the idea of her conception being unknown or potentially of malicious intent. It concerned her that she was born despite her mother technically being diceased.
-> Tuk hated being the youngest, she is never taken seriously and hates that she is scared all the time and that she relies on others to keep her safe. (I feel like this was kinda dumb considering she is literally 7 but I wrote it so I'm adding it, I will happily discuss this in the comments)
-> Quaritch lost the love of his life on Pandora, it's why he got so bitter, even more so than before. Well at least when he died, he died before his wife could give birth to Spider (she died in childbirth). (I wrote this as a place holder head canon for why Spider exists, coz I don't think it was explained very well and I just needed something)
-> Turns out Grace asexually reproduced Kiri, it's rare in the na'vi species but it happens at time, though with the Eytuakan passed on and Mo'at refusing to come near the RDA base there was no way to determine this, as this was information the RDA had not yet collected.
-> Tsu'tey was never really interested in Neytiri, they grew up together and they were close. But it was more about duty and honour than it was about love. (At least in their case) Neytiri and Tsu'tey had talked about this years prior but he was still mad when Neytiri got with Jake because it meant that he would fail his duty and role within the clan. (He died tho so that wasn't a problem I said it ok! I'm sorry I miss him too)

Ok fuck cannon for both series mech tma au
Also mech Martin as a treat
"W-wait." Jonny stopped holding up his hand before Nastya could set the dimension hop.
"The great Jonny d'Ville stuttering? Never thought I would see the day." Nastya rolls her eyes. "What's wrong? You want to get Martin, right?"
"I..." Jonny sighs and looks at Tim and then back to the rest of the crew and eventually Nastya. He fishes out a pair of glasses from his pocket.
"Smarts Jonny." Ivy raised her brow.
Jonny sighs and crosses his arms. "Tim and I have other versions of ourselves in that universe."
"So?" Raphaella quirks her brow. "Extra parts to experiment with."
"Not exactly." Jonny takes a breath. "Any universe or reality doesn't like copies and to remedy that well... we won't be able to stay here." He starts to motion his hands as his tail starts to lash back and forth. "The reality has a way to correct this, and that is to physically fuse myself with my alter, and the same will happen to Tim. I literally have no idea what that will even do."
Brian tilts his head. "So what you're saying that that there is a chance you'll both dissapear?"
"Not exactly, but kind of." Jonny shrugs, removing his glasses. "Eh, it's whatever just wanted to warn you fucks. Tim and I agreed to go through it. We all were already fucked around with the promise of actual death and waking up before, and who knows Martin's world goes through a literal apocalypse so that will be fun."
Tim nods. "We both have bets going on about how it works. I also get to go to a less advanced version of where I'm from. I really want to see what's that like. Also, I saved Bertie, and he got a long life, so I'm honestly fine with a true death."
Raphaella looks at both of them. "If both of you truly die, can I do an autopsy of your bodies to see what came over?"
"Why the fuck not? I don't give a shit I'll be dead." Jonny hums and raises a brow at Ashes. "What?"
"You'll be human." Ashes motions vaguely to his obvious status as not human.
"Huh." Jonny scratches his stubble. "I'll miss my tail if I remember any of it."
Tim snickers. "I'll be fine."
Ivy smirks. "What if your alternate has short hair?" She pauses. "Also, I want earth books."
"I have a new fear." Tim sighs.
Nastya pauses. "Are you sure?"
TS smiles. "I Think They Already Agreed. Bring Me Back A Earth Cat."
"You heard them let's fucking go." Jonny reached out and grabs Tim's hand. "I ain't living for the rest of time without Blackwood."
"Neither I am." Tim nods. "All speed ahead."
Nastya sighs. "This is a terrible idea, but if both of you still remain, I suppose stopping the apocalypse would please Aurora..... oh hmmmm." She puts the ship full throttle, and in an instant, Jonny and Tim vanish.
......
Martin woke up on his back, which honestly is the weirdest way he could wake up second to the alarm on his... he knew the word for the thing, but he couldn't recall it. He barely fumbled to turn off that obnoxious noise. What was a much more pressing manner was the fact his body was wrong, well correct but that was wrong. He can't recall when he had normal legs and feet... he could, but he would much rather forget the time before the good doctor got her hands on him. He was abnormal for a mechanism since his mechanism was organic in nature his lower half was that of a spider. Of course, he didn't hate it he wanted something different after that.
Ok, at the time, he thought himself a monster and tried to kill himself a multitude of times. He grew out of it. Obviously, it would have been a bleak eternity otherwise. He had a vague feeling of where he was, but the word peaches and worms came to mind. He kind of knew what that meant, but he was more so annoyed that this afterlife was basically before he became a mech. He had to figure out what he was doing.
Maybe if he went too... uh oh right the Magnus Institute, that's when he worked a normal job on earth. This was earth he hoped it wasn't in his head that this was some elaborate death dream because that would be a first. He should try to recall more of this if he is ever going to get through this weird afterlife. He hoped it was an afterlife because if not it meant that he wasn't dead, and he didn't want to do that without Jonny and Gunpowder Tim, and of course, the rest of the crew.
He got showered after figuring out the old-fashioned shower and got dressed in familiar clothes he didn't want to remember. He knew he had to remember, but he really didn't want to. He knew how this world worked. Public transport was easy, and soon, he arrived at the very institute that set everything in motion. What's that saying like a hover bike? Or a bicycle? He will remember what to do and go through the motions.
"You're late." A pretentious pompous voice sneered at Martin.
Martin paused, staring at the man studying him, and he reminded him of Jonny, and a name spilled from his lips. "Jon?"
"Did you hit your head on your way here? Of course I'm Jon." The short man shoved a stack of papers in his arms. "Get through these and try not to fall behind."
Martin frowns and takes the stack of statements. He knew they were statements. Some real some fake, and he had an unsettling feeling in the pit of his stomach that this wasn't the afterlife. He sat at his desk and stared at a computer, which he didn't recall the password for, and just started to read. He couldn't think about who he saw by him.
"Geez Marto, you ok?" That was Tim, not gunpowder, but Stoker. He was rubbing his eyes, but it was still him.
Martin knew the moment he saw her not corrupted by a thing that wore her skin poorly he might add he knew he wasn't in the afterlife and his death was a fucking lie. He wanted his final death with the rest of them. Did they also wake up before they became? Before the doctor got a hold of them? He takes a breath and sighs. "I'm fine." He forced himself to say. He noticed Tim was bleeding around his eyes. He chose to get up and wet some napkins to help.
"Tim, you really should see a doctor for that." Sasha frowns.
"I'm fine it's probably from my contacts. I'll wear my glasses, and the problem should clear up." Tim gives finger guns as his eyes water.
Martin sighs. "Tim, you're crying."
"Not emotionally." Tim snickers at his joke. "I'm fine. I probably just need rest and to get new contacts." His eyes stop watering after a moment, but it doesn't stop him from rubbing them like they ached.
Martin wasn't convinced, but he knew better than to push it normally got him shot or someone crying in his arms. He knew that didn't matter here. This place wasn't.... he wasn't home. "I'll make some tea for everyone."
"Thank you, Martin." Tim smiles as he rubs his eyes.
"Amazing as always." Sasha smiles.
Martin nodded and distracted himself with making tea. It didn't last long enough as he gave out the tea. He stepped into Jon's office, and he raised a brow at the scene he walked into. Jon was sitting on his knees in a chair not built for that position. "I made you some tea."
Jon nods, rubbing at his chest. "Right."
Martin paused and decided to push his luck. "Why are you sitting like that?"
Jon scowls and takes his mug of tea, and takes a sip. "My lower back aches, and it is worse if I sit normally. My painkillers haven't kicked in."
"Ah, alright, just be careful, alright." Martin smiles, hoping he was acting enough like he did before.
.....
Tim groans as he stares at the bottle of eye drops the doctor gave him. It did literally nothing. His eyes ached and burned, and no matter what he did, the pain wouldn't go away. It's been two weeks, and it's only gotten worse, and he hasn't been able to do anything to relieve it.
He used the heels of his hand and pressed them into his eyes for any sort of relief that wouldn't come. Doctors couldn't find anything wrong and called him basically crazy because there was nothing wrong with his eyes. He knew something was wrong. He knew something was happening.
Tim was desperate. If the eye pain wasn't enough, he was starting to have weird dreams of a man with mechanical eyes. They would talk, and Gunpowder, the other guy picked that name. Don't ask him why it suited him. The memories... no dreams, he keeps having to correct himself. The dreams Gunpowder tells him are his memories, and he apologizes for them all the time. At one point, these memories became his own, but the only thing it did was make Gunpowder more solid in his mind.
Tim liked Gunpowder he was kind and a bit odd, but he didn't feel alone. He hasn't felt seen or known since his brother. Fuck he really missed Danny.
"You have his memories."
Tim nearly fell backward. That was Gunpowder, but he was awake if the pain was anything to say about that. His eyes scanned the small bathroom, searching for the source of the voice, but he didn't see anything. Maybe he was hearing things. The statements were probably getting to him.
Tim sighs and shuts the lights off, and heads to the couch. He just needed to sleep, that's all. Sleep came quickly these days, and he woke up not in Gunpowder's memories but to a futuristic bedroom. He knew this place from some more steamy memories from Gunpowder. Speaking of him, he was lounging in the bed holding a bottle that no longer had labels.
Gunpowder flicked his mechanical eyes to glance at Tim. His long hair was pulled back into a ponytail, and a pair of goggles was around his neck. He held up the bottle. "Shit doesn't do much in here but wants some?"
Tim shook his head as he approached and sat on the edge of the bed. "Did you say something?"
"When you started to spiral? Yeah." Gunpowder sits up, putting the bottle aside. "I'm not as well versed in this theoretical nonesense as Jonny is, but I think it's almost complete." He reached his hand out, and Tim allowed him to grab it. "Soon we'll be together awake and asleep, probably when my eyes finally form. Again, sorry about the pain."
"I don't think I'm able to believe you." Tim had that sinking feeling of dread that he knew Gunpowder was right. "Why?"
"We wanted to save our third to complete us." Gunpowder pulls his hand away. "Eternity isn't great when you're missing someone that helps complete you. We were also promised an apocalypse, and that did sound fun."
"Love is a good reason." Tim wanted to reach out again but refrained. "So would you be able to take over like a ghost?"
Gunpowder laughs. "I ain't no ghost, but maybe again, Jonny knows more about this bullshit than I do."
Tim nods and gets up approaching the door.
"Are you sure?"
"If what you say is true, I might as well know more about you." Tim opened the door and vanished into memories that weren't his own.
Gunpowder picked the bottle up again and sighed. "I wonder if Jonny is having a good time."
.....
Jon felt even worse, he however did not go to the doctor even at Martin insistent, he was acting odd more so than normal, and it made his work even worse. He stripped off his shirt and pants, then finally his binder and groans. The red spot on his lower back right on his tailbone he could pass off as bug bite, now ballooned into a throbbing red mass that was completely solid to the touch.
He really wanted to keep ignoring it, but he felt something move under his skin, and it scared him half to death. Every part of him felt wrong, to his privates they were extra sensitive more so then when he started T to his ears that were bright red and painful, to his head that he can feel growing bumps on his head. The worst of it was his chest, his heart was constantly beating erratically, and he could swear he heard a ticking like a metronome in his chest. Everything was wrong, and yet he just crawled into his bed.
No to Jon, the worst part were these dreams that were nothing but fiction, and this Jonny character was a idiot, a violent obnoxious idiot. Jonny talked to him. He purposely argued with him and teased him. That ass was crude and didn't have a fucking care in the world the complete opposite of himself. He was some vile creature that probably spawned from the statements he read.
Jon bit down on his pillow, he moved wrong, and his sensitive privates sent nerves and sparks through his body. He was asexual he shouldn't have these desires, and he shouldn't be thinking about his coworkers in this matter. Why the fuck was Martin a spider creature it scared him but also thrilled him and he hated these thoughts. Tim was mostly the same, but his hair was long, and his eyes were machines. He blamed Jonny for all of this. But he wasn't real his mind just wanted someone to blame.
That obnoxious crazed laughter rang in Jon's ears. He groaned, spitting out his pillow. "Leave me alone, you annoying hallucination." That only earned him harder laughter. He gave a frustrated yell into his pillow. He refused to listen to the just jerk off from Jonny and grabbed sleeping pills from his draw, and hoped for a dreamless sleep, which he knew was futile. He kept seeing memories that weren't his of some nonesense syfy fan wet dream. Jonny wasn't real, and what he saw wasn't real either.
.......
Sasha moved closer to Tim. "Eyes still bothering you?" She motions to his the dark sunglasses you couldn't see his eyes through.
Tim nods. "Yeah, doctors aren't helping. They feel like they're going to pop." He sighs. "Do you know what's up with boss man?"
Sasha shrugs. "I was going to ask about Martin. He seems more lost than normal, and he seems less jumpy but even more depressed? I don't know he keeps avoiding me every time I try to press."
"I can talk to him if you talk to Jon about his attitude. I watched him yell at Martin first 10 minutes, and Martin just took it with a smile like he didn't care." Tim frowns, rubbing his eyes his vision was getting blurry, and he could feel something wet drip down from his face.
"Eye drops first, you're crying again, and it's not clear." Sasha hands him a tissue. "I'll go talk to Jon."
"You're the best, Sasha." Tim smiles and rushes off to the bathroom. He barely makes it inside when his vision goes dark. He can only whimper in shock as fresh pain blooms where his eyes should be. A wet substance drips down his cheeks, and he barely registers hands on his shoulder, guiding him to sit on the ground.
Soft hands carefully remove the black glasses and a soft curse on his lips from a voice Tim knows, but he can't focus or see who said that. He could feel a wet cloth wipe whatever was on his face.
"Tim, you gotta breathe." That was Gunpowder. He sounded so clear, like he was right next to him. "I know it hurts, but you have to let the machines build themselves. It's actually really neat to watch."
The soft hands were done cleaning his face as he let out a sigh at the loss of touch. And a flash of light burned, and then he heard a soft click like that of a camera and a softer moving of machines like a soft roll. His vision came back way too fast, and suddenly, it was too perfect, and he saw too much. He saw a familiar sweater connected to a man leaning over him. "M-martin?" Of course it was Martin his hands were soft... he didn't know why he thought of them like a cat's paw.
"Blackwood!" Gunpowder gasps.
Martin takes the spoiled hand towel and puts it in his back pocket. "Tim, can you focus on me?"
The soft whirl of machines and Tim was looking at Martin. "What happened?" He could see the hand towel and had a few theories on what the stains were.
Martin smiles softly, and Tim feels calmer.
"Feels safe into the den of the spider." Gunpowder hums. "Do you mind if I just uh..."
Tim barely registered what happened until he was in the spot where Gunpowder was. He saw his body move without him, and he just watched unable to process until it clicked what had happened. "Oh." He watches Martin tilt his head as Gunpowder looks up at him, then he feels a stinging pain as Martin hits them.
Gunpowder holds his cheek and looks to Tim, realizing they both felt it.
Martin takes a breath. "You didn't heed any of my warnings."
Gunpowder smiles staring up at Martin.
Martin falters, and he moves and sits down next to him on the bathroom floor. "Is...?"
"Yeah, Tim's here." Gunpowder hums. "Don't think he made the connection yet."
"That is a given." Martin pulls his knees up. "I haven't.... yaknow, and I'm worried when I do..."
"You won't be able to hide." Gunpowder nods and reaches out to Martin. "Aha, he made the connection."
Martin smiles softly, interlocking his fingers with Tim. "Yeah, a lot of shit happened. Welcome to the madness of it."
"Oh, we're well past madness and circled back round to sanity." Gunpowder chuckles, taking the glasses back. "Talk later?"
Martin nods and watches Tim return to his body. "Are you ok?"
Tim blinks. Well, he thinks he blinks, but he's pretty sure he doesn't have eyelids anymore. "I uh... I think so." He paused. "So where's the spider parts? Don't tell me my shared memories and adult fantasies are a lie."
Martin chuckles. "Oh, you're both horrible. Ask Gunpowder, you ass." He gets up and holds out his hand. "Come on, we have to get back to work before Jon throws another fit."
Tim nods, getting up with Martin's help. "Seriously though, where are the spider bits?"
"I don't actually know, and I don't want to test dying to see if they come back." Martin sighs.
"Ah, fair enough." Tim continues to hold Martin's hand. "I uh...you know what happens..."
Martin frowns. "Tim, for me, it's been well over a few thousand years. My memory isn't perfect. I remember what my mind thinks are the important bits, but I've really tried to forget this happened. The ending isn't a good one." He sighs. "We can talk after work, in the tunnels."
"Tunnels?" Tim raised his brow following Martin, never unlocking their hands.
......
Martin pulled Tim back as emts rushed out with a stretcher. "Who got hurt?"
Sasha rushed over. "I went to check on Jon, and he... he was bleeding, and he was barely breathing. I called the ambulance, and they rushed him to the hospital."
Tim frowns. "Is he ok?"
"I don't know." Sasha gives a soft gasp as Martin pulls her into a hug.
"Hey, you did the right thing. Jon will be fine." Martin smiles softly. "We can visit him after our shift. I'm sure he wouldn't mind visitors."
Sasha hugs him back. "You're right. You're right. He probably knew something was wrong and refused to see a doctor."
Tim sighs. "That does sound like Jon." He paused for a moment. "I, uh yeah, back to work."
Sasha nods, wiping her eyes and pulling away from Martin. "I'm sure he'll appreciate a cleaner archive when he gets back."
Martin nods. "Of course, that sounds great." He grabs Tim's arm. "Tim and I can grab some boxies and start moving things around."
"Oh, that's great." Sasha smiles, watching them leave.
.....
"Why did you grab me?" Tim raised his brow.
"So I think I know what happened to Jon." Martin frowns.
Tim paused, and his demeanor changed, and he sags his shoulders. "Oh, this is not going to be good."
"No, it's not." Martin sighs. "Fuck everything has changed now."
"So, did we do it?" Gunpowder raised his brow.
Martin snickers. "Yeah, not even close. We both know that gods won't take this lying down even if it's Jonny."
"Eh, worth a shot." Gunpowder shrugs. "Blackwood has told me enough to know what Jon ends up as I'll explain later."
.....
Elias adjusts his tie and smiles, looking over his archivist. The unfortunate nature of the Flesh and Stranger working together does have this outcome. Of course, he can pull all the strings needed to have this little incident swept under the rug and tied in a neat bow. He smiles softly, watching him wake up. "Are you alright, Jonathan? You've given us all quite the scare." He stops seeing a scowl that isn't Jon's normal one on his lips.
Jonny's mouth felt like it was full of cotton, and his head was fuzzy, and Jon's nagging didn't exactly help him either. His gaze moved up to the man in a suit. He looked like a prick, an obnoxious wealthy prick. Jon was yelling at him that's his boss and don't fuck this up. Of course he wouldn't fuck this up he knew how to act proper and can copy Jon's boring ass. If he could just focus.
"Jonathan, are you alright? You may have hit your head on the way down. You're on some painkillers." Elias smiles, leaning over him.
Jonny furrows his brows. He hated painkillers and always took the fun out of pain and violence. "...fuzzy..." He managed to mumble. His tolerance to painkillers was null and void due to his affection for actual pain. Couldn't he just get Jon's tolerance and not just the fun new parts to explore. He scowls again at the man above his bed, he wanted to rip that smile off his face.
Elias chuckles softly. "Painkillers will do that, and you're not even on that heavy of a dose. I'm sure your coworkers will be visiting you soon. Hopefully, you'll feel better by then."
Jonny grits his teeth. He had a few choice words for that pompous ass.
"You can't kill him." Jon looked drowsy floating next to him.
At least Jonny wasn't the only one suffering in this cushioned hell. He huffs and turns his head.
Jon chuckles. "Don't be mad. You've got control." He was very out of it. He felt the same effects Jonny was. "What's.... what is uh...." He blinks, unable to form a coherent thought.
Jonny huffs and can't fight the feeling of sleep overtaking him.
......
"So Gunpowder Tim cut a bloody path...." Jonny stops, noticing that his head finally felt clear enough and reciting old ballads of his friends wasn't needed. He looked down at Jon, who was staring at him. He floated down to lay next to Jon. "What's with that look? I already explained our situation to you at nauseum."
Jon scowls, looking away. He then makes a vague motion, unable to explain why he suddenly felt wrong.
Jonny raised his brow. "You've got my dick. Ain't you special."
Jon scoffs, but his face is turning red because he feels that is true. "No..." He huffs.
Jonny paused, watching Jon get frustrated. He didn't feel like sharing in that. He learned early in that they shared emotions, and he had to get used to feeling things that weren't his own. It was honestly worse than Nastya, making him feel Aurora emotions. "I can tell you."
Jon felt himself be pushed out from his body as Jonny took control. He scowls but sighs, watching and feeling Jonny's own emotions. "So? What's wrong with m- us?"
Jonny scowls. "They cut off my fucking tail! It's a fucking bitch to grow that back." He raised his ands and feels around his forehead. "Good, they didn't cut them too short. Actually, I like them short, so this isn't an issue... I'm narrating for you Jon be grateful."
Jon raised his brow. "You can't hear my thoughts?"
"Can you hear mine?" Jonny spits back.
"Fair point." Jon sighs. "Are we ok?"
"Fuck if I know. Everything is new, raw, and sensitive. My dicks never been this fucked before." Jonny growls as he is forced back out by Jon.
"D-Dont do that." Jon pulls the blanket over his body.
Jonny shrugs, not understanding Jon. "Whatever, we just have to adjust." He pauses for a moment, pointing at Jon. "This is earth, right?"
"Yes?" Jon raised his brow.
"Tim and Blackwood always referred to me as a cowboy. What's a cow? I don't think I've ever seen an earth cow."
Jon blinks. "But you have parts like a bull."
"Wait, I thought it was called cows." Jonny returned a confused look.
Jon shakes his head. "Alien, right, you're an alien. You don't know human er earth animals. Cows don't have sharp teeth like you, but uh, bulls are basically male cows, but cows are the general term used."
"Can I see what they look like?" Jonny floated to lay next to Jon.
"Yeah, when I get my phone." Jon paused. "Are you upset I wasn't born a man?"
"Why would I care? You've got my dick now, and I have a new hole to play with. This is a win for me." Jonny shrugs and raised his brow feeling relief pour from Jon.
"Thank you." Jon says quietly.
"Ok?" Jonny shrugs floating to look around the hospital room.
......
Sasha slams on the breaks. "Tim what the fuck."
Tim's eyes clicked and whirled. He was told only he could hear this by Gunpowder. Well, both can hear since they share a body. He reaches for his glasses and realizes he took them off because his ears were bothering him. He could feel the look from Gunpowder and Martin on him. "It's a long story."
Sasha rocketed to a spot to park, and she twisted her body to the back seat. "Tim explain now!"
Martin bites his lip and blurts out. "It's my fault. I'm supposed to be dead, both me and Gunpowder. Promised an end to eternity, and it was a farce and I'm back here like this, and I really tried to forget about this part of my life. I mean for fucks sake you die and get replaced Sasha and none of us notice for a year because of how it worked. Tim dies in an explosion, destroying the circus, and that isn't to mention the fucked up paranoia from Jon and extreme levels of fucked up creatures that I mean now I can look back at and laugh but you can't you're mortal. I mean, these are fear gods, so I mean they will get to you eventually."
Gunpowder grabs Martin's hand. "Martin, that's enough. The only reason Jonny knew about my past was because he was playing soldier and was with me. You don't have to..." He stops as Martin waves him off.
"No, it's fine. Tim and Sasha deserve to know." Martin sighs. "I'll tell you what I can remember it has been a few thousand years since I've been through this."
.....
Sasha swallows. "I believe you."
Martin blinks. "Why?"
"I've had a bad feeling, and I knew Gertrude didn't just go missing." Sasha then points to Tim. "Also look at his fucking eyes Martin that's pretty good evidence."
Gunpowder nods.
Martin gives a nervous smile. "I'm sorry I've gotten used to things over the years. I like Tim's eyes."
"Yeah, yeah, don't boast his ego." Sasha puts her seat belt back on. "So keep your glasses on Tim. We're going to visit Jon if the same thing happened to him like you."
"It's equally as possible. Jon worked himself into a delusional state and just hurt himself." Martin shrugs.
Tim blinks back in control. "That's really dark."
"No, no, Martin has a point." Sasha starts the car again. "Remember that incident in research."
"I tried to forget, but I see your point." Tim sighs, putting his glasses back on.
Martin sighs. "Hopefully that isn't the case."
.....
Jon shifted uncomfortably as he sat up. Jonny wasn't lying. The tail thing was incredibly uncomfortable and annoying. He stared at the hospital food in front of him and was told he couldn't leave till tomorrow. He hated hospital food, and he hated hospitals.
"Stop pouting." Jonny rolls his eyes. "I can feel your emotions and pouting won't get you nowhere."
"Oh, then what can I do? Please enlighten me." Jon scowls taking a bite of his peas.
"For one, actually eat. How the fuck are you in such shit condition? Do you even know what fun is?" Jonny shook his head. "You can't do shit without meat on your bones, and you look half starved. You're a fucking disaster."
Jon continues to scowl, not saying a word.
The door opens to his room.
"Blackwood!" Jonny floats through him, trying to tackle him. "Fuck."
Martin smiles softly as Tim and Sasha follow behind him. "We wanted to make sure you're ok."
"You gave me a scare, Jon." Sasha crosses her arms. "You need to learn how to take a break, or at least see a doctor."
Tim was odd wearing sunglasses that completely hid his eyes, but he knew Tim was having trouble with his eyes. "You look awful."
Jon can't help but give a soft smile. "Just wasn't paying attention and hit my head." He motions to the bandages around his head and ears.
"Don't lie to Blackwood. That man can see through any lie you spit." Jonny crosses his arms. "Besides, I bet you control of my choosing that Gunpowder is in your Tim."
Jon ignores him. "Ah you didn't have to bring me anything."
Martin smiles softly as he pulls out a chocolate slice of cake. "It's just some chocolate cake. I mean, you don't have to have it..." He stops as Jon's demeanor changes in an instant as he pushes his food aside.
Jon was forced out and watched Jonny make grabby hands.
"Give it here, Blackwood." Jonny huffs. "Don't you fucking tempt me."
Martin's expression changed, and Jon could feel a shiver down his back. "You and your sweet tooth." He tisks, placing the slice down.
Jonny grabs the container. "Fuck you." He huffs and has enough decency to use a fork. "Your fucking lucky I have to fix this body or I would end you."
Jon watches Tim snicker. "You lost height!" His snickers turn to giggles.
"Piss off." Jonny scoffs.
Sasha raised her brow. "How did you know the cake would work?"
"d'Ville only has one craving he can't quit, and it ain't cigarettes." Gunpowder smirks, taking off his glasses, revealing his mechanical eyes.
Jonny scowls. "Oh fuck you. I don't deny myself pleasures like you."
"I have manners you lack." Tim spits back.
Martin chuckles and has a glint in his eyes and a sinister smile that again Jon can't tear his eyes from. "Now, both of you, that's enough." He moves closer and leans over Jonny. "How about you behave and finish all of your food, and maybe I'll convince the doctors to let you leave early?"
Jon can feel the tug, no the crashing wave of desire, and just pure love spill from Jonny, and if they had his tail, it would be wagging like a dog.
Jonny, for his part, nods eagerly. "It would be faster if you fed me." He purrs back.
Martin steps back. "Don't push your luck. I'm mad at you."
In a split second, that emotion was gone, replaced with annoyance. Jon had to shake his head from the whiplash.
"We agreed!" Jonny huffs stuffing his face with food. "It's not like you were there with your bleeding heart. You weren't there, I woke up after that bar in that... look, I'm not having this conversation."
Jon could feel a bubble of an emotion, one that he knew should leave unspoken. He remains quiet watching Martin.
Martin gaze didn't break, let alone change. He crosses his arms. "Did you do the same?"
Jonny swallows his final bite. "I can't say I wanted to change it, so I didn't."
Martin's gaze seems to finally soften. "Good, he didn't deserve forgiveness." He reached out and pat Jonny's shoulder. "That's my cowboy." He pauses. "What's with the frown?"
"They cut off my tail." Jonny sounded honest and small.
Jon was taken aback.
"I never said humanity was a kind species." Martin brushes a stray piece of hair out of Jonny's face. "It will grow back."
"Not the point." Jonny sighs. "How's your former mortal." His gaze shifted to Tim.
"Probably better than yours with the adjustment." Gunpowder slides his glasses back on. "You look like shit."
"Not my fault." Jonny mutters.
"Never said it was." Gunpowder muses. "Maybe you shouldn't have asked Martin for his story."
Martin rolls his eyes. "Just because you're bitter doesn't mean you get to drag me into this argument again." He walks by Sasha, grabbing her arm. "Would you like to hear more while they complain?"
Sasha nods. "Sure, why not." She follows Martin out of the room as he shuts the door behind him.
Gunpowder frowns. "Don't give me that look. I already got an earful from him, and to be fair, he warned both of us to wait. Now, why do you think this didn't happen the first time?"
"Aren't you just full of dumb questions." Jonny adjusts his glasses. "They were already dead and gone by the time we crossed the first time. This place was fine. I dunno Blackwood said it's been. I dunno fifty years since it ended and started again." He raised his brow at something Tim couldn't see. "You do know what apocalypse means, right? Right well that happened, and you died before I came here the first time."
Gunpowder waves his hand. "Jonny, stop, we both know what happened in the end. They don't know the full truth yet, neither of them."
Jonny frowns and stares at Tim. "How long do you think it will take till being the good guy gets old?"
"Who knows? We've never tried it." Gunpowder shrugs. "You should hold off on being honest about this world, as much as I know you like your stories and songs. Unless you want to deal with Jon."
Jonny waves him off. "Whatever, it doesn't matter now he'll learn as I will annoyingly to see his memories. Just let me figure this out, and as much as I hate to see you two on good terms compared to my situation. Just wait."
For what, Jon had no idea, but this Gunpodwer did, who nodded.
"Seriously though, figure something out with this Jon. You seriously look worse than when we were starving, as a competition." Gunpowder sighs. "Blackwood..." He looks through the door. "Yeah, he already convinced the doctors and nurses to let you go, and they are on their way. Enjoy your new home, alone." He smirks as he leaves.
Jon was flung back into his body, feeling Jonny fuming, but the other man was uncharacteristic silent. He had to think this over and what this actually meant. So he died the first time, but when and how? Before or after the apocalypse?
.......
He wasn't truly alone, not anymore. Jon sunk into his bed and opened his phone. "How did Martin even convince them to let me leave?"
"He's got a way of trapping people making them do what he wants." Jonny hums. "Now, show me a picture of a cow."
Jon wanted to press, but he quickly learned pleasing Jonny was the best way to get answers. He pulled up a picture of a cow and a bull and held it up.
Jonny was quiet studying the creatures he saw. He broke into a wide grin. "They look cute, don't they. Good cows."
Jon hums and sighs. "You said Martin told you what happens to this world. What happens? Why did he become one of you? What are you guys?"
Jonny frowns. "I rather not feel your stupid emotions." He scratches behind his ear. "You won't let this go. However, Blackwood warned me you were insistent, so I might as well spin you a tale." Suddenly, a harmonica appeared in his hands. "A tragic fate of star-crossed lovers doomed by forces beyond their control, and a man turned to a monster that was left in the ruins."
Jon listened to the haunting story on a soft melody. He learned how his coworkers, no his friends, died. How he roamed the wastelands the fears as the apocalypse he caused reigned, how Martin stayed by his side even though he caused this by being tricked. The story ended in a sharp blade.
Jonny stopped. "And you were no more as the pancoption crumbled the archive now, just a man taking his final breath. An ending driven by a man afraid of death and so willing to please a god who didn't care for him as nothing more than a tool. Blackwood crushed but was not dead. A familiar doctor just happened to be passing by the rubble. She wanted to try something new, just not machines anymore, something animalistic, something new. And so Blackwood became a monster a first of his kind." He stretches. "Immortality such a boring goal, isn't it? You would think you would want something more interesting."
Jon was speechless he couldn't string together thoughts.
Jonny frowns, feeling the rush of emotions. "Look..." He swallows and feels tears drip down his face. He was frustrated that he couldn't stop this. He hated emotions, and he hated being honest to himself, but Jon still viewed himself as mortal, and he won't be raw without his partners. He floated down beside Jon and let him cry. He couldn't stop it. The rush of emotions overwhelmed him.
Jon finally spoke. "How do I stop it?"
"Fuck if I know. I wasn't here. I heard the story from Blackwood." Jonny was purposely looking away from him. "You have to ask him, but we promised to play the good guys this time around, or well, until it gets boring."
"We're going to stop this." Jon tried to muster confidence he didn't have.
Jonny just sighs. "Go to bed. Watch some of my memories. If you don't start trying to fix your body, I will do it by force."
Jon pulls his blanket up and frowns. He falls into an unsteady sleep.
......
Elias raised his brow, watching his archivist return to work. "Jonathan, I did tell you to take time to rest after yesterday." He had a smile and a silver tongue.
Jonny scoffs. "He's worse sober."
Jon smiles nervously. "I'm fine, Elias." He adjusts his hat covering his new sensitive ears. His tail had already started to grow back, and Jonny said it's a side effect of immortality, which Jon didn't believe in. It's supposed to be much longer than a cow's tail and semi prehensile. He wanted to test it but knew better than to try anything in public.
Elias frowns. "Now, Jon, I don't need you working yourself sick again." He knew the effects of the stranger and the flesh it probably hasn't hit the man yet, and he didn't want him breaking down having him explain the truth.
Jon frowns. "I'm fine, Elias. I know how to take care of myself. I'm going to get back to work."
Elias frowns, crossing his arms and watching Jon rush off to the archives . He raises his brow, and seeing the start of a tail, he is informed that it is cut off. It shouldn't be growing back this fast. He had a few connections to pull to get more information. He had no desire to pick another archivist nor start again.
......
"We should kill him." Jonny floats next to Jon, his tail lazily flicking behind him.
"Elias is my boss. I'm not going to kill him." Jon scowls as he hears Tim snickers. "Tim, that's enough."
Tim hums, Jon can see his hair is curling and is getting lighter than the black he has. "I don't think so, bossman. We think it's quite hilarious Jonny's on a leash."
Jon was pushed out as Jonny took control. "Oh go fuck yourself you fucking cunt." Jonny stomps off to Jon's office making it a point to slam the door.
Martin snickers from the entrance and refrains from explaining Elias can see them. Oh, that would be hilarious. Does he know Jon and Jonny are sharing a body, or does he think that the fears changed Jon? Either way, things have changed, and he wants to see Elias... no Jonah squirm with the unpredictability. Martin will force him to realize immortality is not worth it, and death is a gift. He silently walks to his desk and takes a seat.
"Enjoying the show?" Tim smirks. "We are."
"Oh, I'm enjoying something else." Martin smiles back.
"Already knitting a web, I see." Gunpowder nods. "I always enjoy the finished project."
Martin taps his fingers against his desk. "You know I think it's not a Web I rather not get mixed up with that particular fear I think I can recall the avatar is kind of a right bitch."
"Really? You have to explain the fear thing better because some of them just sound fun or fun to kill." Gunpowder smirks.
"Later, and Sasha already made a list." Martin points to Sasha sipping her coffee.
"You two share a body. Did you not pay attention when Tim was reading it?" Sasha raised her brow.
Tim huffs. "I couldn't figure out how to turn off the Xray vision on these damn eyes until like an hour before I slept." He had a slight blush on his cheeks. "Then the damn things wouldn't stop focusing on objects miles away."
Gunpowder took back control. "To be fair, I still have trouble controlling them. Human biology and mechanical parts tend to fight until they get into a rhythm. Also, I have like a million years of experience, and Tim does not."
Sasha frowns. "That sounds actually awful. Does Jonny have these problems?"
Gunpowder shrugs. "He never complains, and if he dislikes something, he's quite vocal. I think he uses the ticking as a metronome."
Martin nods. "As boney as he is, he's very nice to sleep too. The ticking is quite soothing." He sighs. "Granted, I won't be able to enjoy any of that for a long while, I reckon."
"Shit, I remembered that this isn't a desert planet." Gunpowder pauses. "Jonnys going to be a little bitch."
"Why?" Sasha raised her brow.
"Jonny's originally from a mostly desert planet, so his tail ears and horns were basically made to keep him cool. Even the nights were hot, so he doesn't exactly have any defenses against the cold, and he makes his complaints known as Gunpowder said." Martin hums. "Although he loves the snow and rain."
"We never said the man made sense." Gunpowder shrugs, letting Tim back in control.
Sasha tilts her head. "What was the planet like that you're from?"
"Gunpowder is from the earth of a different dimension." Tim taps his pen against his desk and adjusts his glasses. "He did however blow up the moon."
"Now you're just fucking with me." Sasha rolls her eyes and heads back to her desk.
Martin chuckles. "Don't feel bad about it. In this time, we've barely had any people on the moon."
"See, I told you!" Tim huffs. "He wouldn't listen to me or the facts I provided."
"Tim, you have to understand where we're coming from. We lived on a spaceship." Martin hums heading to his desk to start working.
Tim sighs. "Still annoying."
.....
Martin stares at the bloody fingernails in the sink. He knew his luck was running out. His body wasn't going to wait till his first death. He could feel how tight his skin felt and how it was hard to walk to breathe. He wasn't scared to become what he was supposed to be, but it would make this so much harder. He flexed his hand, seeing the black claw nails start to poke through his flesh. He doesn't truly care he made peace ages ago with what the doctor made him.
Elias watched Martin with a curious gaze. He can feel the Beholder use his eyes to watch intently. He had a feeling in his gut something changed something twisted in the mere fabric of reality. He hasn't even checked on Jon since he arrived this morning, and the Beholder agreed that something more interesting was happening. Martin was unassuming and predictable, but this was new, and he wanted to know why. He wasn't an avatar, and that also fueled his curiosity. How is he changing without one of the fears?
Martin rubbed his eyes and sighed. He had time, and he had time to prepare. He wanted Jonny. He just wanted that soft ticking, Gunpowder could soothe his anxieties, but Jonny was a comfort. Sure, the man was brash rude and a devil, but he was his, and that was enough. Gunpowder wouldn't touch him till Tim was fully on board with him, and Martin respected that. Hell he was fucking happy with that. Jonny, however, was a mystery, Jon was tighter lipped, and he knew how long it took for Jon to even understand his emotions, let alone actually relie on others.
Martin gathered his fingernails from the sink and threw them out with a sigh. Maybe he could go to artifact storage to slow things. Well, that has just a likely chance to kill him. He doesn't care. Maybe he could convince Gunpowder and Tim to head to the tunnels properly. He finished washing his hands, not even flinching at the exposed nerves.
Elias's gaze intensified as he watched Tim enter the bathroom. More importantly, he removed his sunglasses, revealing new eyes. When did he get surgery? More importantly, how can he still see? He shut his eyes, and he was seeing from Tim's eyes.
Tim scratched his chin. "Martin, you alright?"
Elias saw a man in the mirror that wasn't Tim.
Martin sighs. "I'm fine." He stretches. "Just a bit achey, what about you?"
"I'm fine." Tim crosses his arms. "Ok, maybe not entirely fine, but I'm getting used to it."
The man in the mirror that wasn't Tim spoke and Elias could hear him.
"I know my scars aren't pretty, and I'm sorry." The not Tim sighs.
Tim shook his head. "Dude, I said it's fine." He turns back to Martin. "I'm more peeved about the hair than I am about the scars, and I still haven't agreed to grow it out."
Not Tim huffs.
Martin chuckles. "The two colors look good together, and if you don't grow it out, what else am I supposed to grab?"
Tim swallows, and Elias sees him in the mirror, and he figured it out that this not Tim was in control.
"Oh, don't tease the man. He doesn't understand the fun a simple act can do. Let alone one with those..." Not Tim stops staring at Martin's hand. "When?"
Martin huffs. "Gunpowder, it's fine. You know how you can't hide what the good doctor does to you. I'm fine. I just feel a bit stiff and uncomfortable, but it will pass."
Not Tim or Gunpowder, ridiculous name if you asked Elias. He smiles softly.
"Fuck the waiting, from what I've seen its going to be brutal and he shouldn't be alone..." Tim was speaking out loud now. "He shouldn't have to go through this by him....self... ah, you ass."
Martin raised his brow with a soft smile. "I appreciate the offer, Tim, but you're not exactly desensitized enough for my liking."
Tim huffs. "Then Gunpowder will watch and be out. You don't deserve to be alone through this. I know you have an issue with that, I uh well, Gunpowder knows, and I saw the memory."
"Fine, if you insist." Martin paused, and Elias shivers with that look. "I've shared things with Gunpowder in secret. I don't want you to share with anyone." He grabs Tim's shirt. "Understand?"
Tim swallows and nods.
Martin smiles again as his features soften. "Good, I'll come by your flat tonight."
Tim watches Martin leave with a shudder. Elias doesn't leave yet.
"I warned you about being caught in Blackwood's web. You're not close enough with him to get comfortable." Gunpowder clicks his tongue. "He's not the man you knew, so please don't underestimate him. I would rather not die before Jonny does. We've got a bet going on."
Tim swallows and slides the dark sunglasses back on, and Elias is shocked to see his vision didn't change in the slightest. "He's still a good person."
"That's... well, none of us are good." Gunpowder responds dryly. "It comes with the territory."
Tim didn't like that answer, but he remained quiet as Elias came back to himself. He had a lot to think about.
......
"At least you know how to tell a story." Jonny responds with a bored tone. "These statements still suck, I still suggest we burn the entire place down."
Jon scowls. "No." He stretches and pulls out the used tape. "Can you think of anything that doesn't involve violence.... or sex." He gives a glare.
"Now you're just plain boring." Jonny raised his brow. "Being serious all the time must be fucking exhausting."
Jon sputters. "Just because I'm not some guy who thinks he's immortal and some sex pest doesn't mean anything."
"I don't care what you think of me." Jonny stares directly at Jon. "We are stuck together for the rest of time, and whatever comes after."
Jon scowls. "I won't devolve to be on your level."
Jonny rolls his eyes. "I don't care."
Jon huffs and leaves his office.
"Jon, you ok?" Sasha smiles softly.
Jon stops and sighs. "I'm fine, just getting used to an unfortunate roommate."
"That's one way to call it." Tim mutters.
"You two should try getting along." Sasha hums. "You'll be stuck together forever, I guess. I think it would suck if you two were stuck together fighting for all of that."
Jon scowls. "Oh, he's a right ass only cares about violence and sex. He's nothing but a pest, and I abhor the fact that I have to share my own body with him."
"Oh piss off." Jonny huffs.
Gunpowder sighs. "His attitude comes with his age. He is the oldest of us besides the doctor, but we don't know about her, though, really." He kicks his feet up. "Jonny, I know you're listening. You should be cautious he's going to see memories that you've forgotten. Funny how the mind works even if we forget they still exist in there, just waiting for a trigger to pull them free."
Jon expected Jonny to kick him out and take control, but he felt fear grip his heart that no longer beat. He swallows the dread that wasn't his and doesn't look at Jonny. "I will keep that in mind for when I sleep."
The conversation dies as Jon leaves as the day has ended, and he doesn't want to linger.
.......
The rusty hinges creaked on the old shack the teen called a home. He made sure he tipped off his shoes before entering, and he saw his father passed out in a drunken stupor. He carefully made his way to the small kitchen connected to the living room. If you would call it, that and stumbled upon a note.
"Jonny boy, I've left to clean up after your father. He pissed off some old doctor at the edge of town. I've left old Bessie for you to make sure she's in better condition when I get back, boy. Now, if I don't come back, I know you won't end up like your father. You're too smart for that. Use your ears to find a target to shoot. We both know your eyes aren't the best use that good hearing of yours. Don't file your horns too short boy they grow for a reason, and I love you forever and always."
Wrapped in leather by the note was a familair old looking revolver, the name Bessie was carved crudely into the handle. The weight would become familair in the teen's hands. He took the note scowled at his father and then headed off to hunt for dinner since that lazy piece of shit won't do anything but gamble.
Jon woke up with a start. He could feel a rush of emotions that weren't his. "I..."
"Don't say a fucking word." Jonny scowls. "Don't go telling nobody about that."
Jon nodded he paused, squinting at the clock that glowed, showing it was 3am. He sighs. "I don't remember my mother, or my father, with died at different times, but I was too young to remember them. My grandmother raised me, bitter she had to raise another child. Never told me that directly, however."
Jonny braces himself and grits his teeth. "I don't remember what my mom looks like either."
"Then we have that in common. Maybe the next dream will be my memory, and you can pick apart that." Jon sighs and curls under his blanket.
Jonny nods. "Just go back to sleep."
......
Martin grits his teeth and groans in pure agony. He could barely register the hand going through his red curls. His legs hurt, and he couldn't move them. His skin felt like it was on fire, and he didn't particularly like burning to death. He was stripped down to his birthday suit, and it didn't help with the fact that he was in pure agony.
Gunpowder continues to run his hands through Martin's hair. "It's alright, you're ok. It will be over soon."
"Just fucking kill me." Martin groans.
"We both know that won't help." Gunpowder sighs. "Would you like to hear my story?"
Martin takes a deep breath. "Please distract me."
Gunpowder nods and begins to narrate his origins.
....
An obnoxious alarm pulled Tim from sleep on the floor. He was laying in something wet and the smell of iron... no blood filled his nose, which caused him to panic and flail completely awake. His eyes lock onto a large spider, half then blood, then flesh and bone. Gunpowder takes over before he can throw up.
"Yikes, I thought the shared emotions wouldn't be this strong. Man, you are super depressed." Gunpowder gets up, smearing the blood off from his body. "You're going to need a stronger stomach." He looked over Martin, who was out cold. "See, he's breathing.... please stop screaming. " he covers his mouth, feeling his stomach sour from the sheer fear and disgust from Tim. He swallows the bile rising in his throat, turns away from the scene, and heads to the bathroom.
Gunpowder barely makes it to the toilet to empty the contents of his stomach. He continues to dry heave for a moment before turning to face Tim. "Are you done?"
Tim was pale, and he finally caught his breath. He was still radiating fear and disgust, but he was stable enough to talk. "Is he still alive?"
Gunpowder wipes his mouth. "Of course he is. What part of we can't die, don't you understand?" He frowns, pulling back his frustration. "Sorry you can't control how you react yet. I didn't realize how much I would share when we feel strong emotions." He sits on his knees and sighs. "I'll clean up, just try not to get sick again, please."
Tim nods and shudders. "I.... I'm not desensitized to this stuff. I'm sorry."
Gunpowder gets up, feeling the soft twists of sadness and self-doubt. "Tim, it's not a bad thing, means you're still human. Don't be too hard on yourself." He pulls out some cleaning supplies from the bathroom cabinet. "Tell me about Danny."
Tim frowns and nods slightly. "He was my younger brother...."
.....
Martin wakes up to someone touching his hand. He furrows his brow, pulling his hand back, and skitters up to be his full height, staring down at Tim. He hissed and then blushed, finally realizing that Tim was, in fact, there, and he wasn't a threat. He covers his face and groans, playing out his legs to be shorter. "I didn't mean to hiss at you."
Tim looked over to Gunpowder giggling, and he felt a laugh bubble in his own throat, and wow, no wonder he got frustrated. He didn't exactly know how he felt about feeling someone else's emotions. He gave a soft smile and reached out again to hold Martin's hand. "Your hands are really like a cat's paw."
Martin smiles and lets Tim take his hand. "Spiders have padded limbs and toe beans if you actually look at them."
"That's actually really cute." Tim blushes slightly. "Oh shit how are we going to get to work?"
Martin shrugs. "Might as well scare Elias first."
"Really?" Tim snickers. "What is he scared of spiders?"
"No, he's scared of what they represent." Martin hums. "We're going to be late, and I need a shirt."
"Right, you brought a spare one, right?" Tim paused and rushed over to a bag Martin brought. "Also, you're going to have to talk to my neighbors because of all the stuff we threw out, and they probably think I'm a serial killer."
Martin snickers. "I think I'll scare them into silence."
"Man, I've seen too much of Gunpowder, and Jonny and you having fun together to remember that I'm supposed to be scared of you because you're a spider centaur." Tim tosses over a sweater.
"I suppose I don't find myself scary either. Honestly, the fear left pretty quickly once I realized how my new body worked." Martin smiles. "This will be obnoxious getting to work. I don't mind walking. You live much closer than I do, but being stared at isn't ideal."
"Maybe a blanket?" Tim stops and covers his face. "That wouldn't work."
Martin chuckles. "I appreciate the concept idea, but Jonny tried that once."
"Wait really?" Tim raised his brow.
"Yeah, ended up in a bar fight." Martin snickers. "Although it was fucking hilarious."
"Huh." Tim crosses his arms. "Just bite the bullet and head out?"
"After you." Martin hums and smiles.
.....
Elias blinks, and the scene doesn't change. What confounds him the most is the fact that this has nothing to do with the web. The Beholder is taking it all in, and he can feel actual confusion from his patron. He clears his throat and approaches. "Martin, I don't believe it's near Halloween unless you've got an event planned."
Martin hums impressed at how well Elias can mask his true emotions. "I don't think a costume would be strong enough to carry someone on." He motions to Tim who waves.
"He insisted that he carry me." Tim smiles.
"Well, yes, but I hope I don't cause you too much trouble." Martin smiles. "Why the surprise this is your institute, and shouldn't you expect the supernatural?" He has a smirk as he walks past a stunned Elias.
Elias doesn't have a response to that. His mind was completely blank, and the Beholder was eerily silent.
Tim was snickering. "Double boss man seems quite stunned."
Martin chuckles. "Oh, this is quite fun."
That thought came crashing down with a terrified scream and wide eyed stares.
Martin felt exposed, and he couldn't remember the last time he felt bad about his body until this moment. He knows Tim can feel him tense. "I..."
"Jon, seriously?" Tim huffs sliding off Martin's back. "It's not his fault he's like this."
Jon was trying really hard to keep his panic and fear in check, and he felt a growing bubble of white hot rage directed at him and feeling it. The feedback loop was really confusing. "I uh..." He was forced out by Jonny.
"Fuck off." Jonny took back control his tail was lashing and puffed out at the end. His ears were pinned back, and the hair on top of his head was puffing out. "Seriously fuck off I don't judge you for who you carnally desire. Blackwood is mine, and you have absolutely no right." He goes o continue his rant, but a tooth falls out. He blinks as confusion fills his features, and he crouched down to poke it.
Martin opens his mouth and closes it. "You know I remember now what he was missing, the teeth."
"The teeth." Gunpowder repeats with a nod.
"I'm sorry Martin, are you ok?" Sasha vaguely motions.
"I mean, it was painful, but it doesn't hurt now." Martin pauses. "I have to figure out how to use my desk."
Tim is getting back control, pulling his eyes away from Jonny, now messing with his teeth. "I mean, you can get rid of the chair and move from there."
"That could work." Martin hums and looks over to Jonny. "Are you ok?"
Jonny holds a handful of his teeth. "What do you think?" He scowls. "Well fuck you too. No, I'm mad at you. That's a stupid fucking question, I don't care about spiders let alone being scared of them."
Three pairs of eyes watch the one sided argument.
.....
A fog seemed to roll into Elias's office out of nowhere, and a tall, muscular man in a captains attire steps inside. The man stops and stares at Elias, who had his head down on his desk. "Elias?"
Elias groans. "Peter."
"Shouldn't you be enjoying your new archivist floundering?" Peter raised his brow.
Elias takes a breath. "Peter, I have called every avatar I ever had contact with to ask if they knew what was going on with my archivist and his assistants. I have no leads, and the Beholder is clueless."
Peter opens his mouth then shuts it with a click.
"Do you have any idea what's happening? Because I don't have a singlaur clue." Elias throws his hands up. "One of the archivist assistants is a half spider centaur, and he's not even aligned with the web. The other has mechanical eyes that still work as eyes. That technology doesn't exist, and the Flesh doesn't bother with machines."
Peter reaches out. "I think you need a vacation."
Elias slams his hands against his desk. "Peter, I'm serious!" He gets up and grabs Peter's arm, and drags him to the archives.
Peter stared stunned.

thank you to @tinkerbelle05 for helping me write this by giving me ideas🫶🏽
gwen and hobie were walking to miguel’s office where he serves everything in the multiverse gwen had miles attached by a web dragging him so he didn’t wander off hobie smirked at this finding it funny.
—
you were speaking to miguel “so what are your powers besides the regular spider ones we all have” you smiled your hands swiping over nothing into for there to be a hologram of a dj board where there once was nothing.
miguel have you a questioning look “i can paralyze or stun my enemies for a period of type based off the best i play” you said with a proud smile miguel thought for a moment your in you smiled at him before three people walked in.
as you examined them your eyes find a boy with multiple piercings you hope in the air landing on nothing but you were sitting in the air deciding to listen to their conversation “i was going ti act like you weren’t there but i- i just cant” the boy responded “i’m not even here” before kicking his legs up.
deciding to ignore them you put your headphones on and started making a beat humming unconsciously to the beats, everyone looked at you but you were to focused on what you were doing.
hobie looked at you then back at miguel “who’s that?” miguel was confused before remembering you were there “this is y/n our newest recruit, y/n come introduce yourself” you moved one headphone from your ear confused before shooing the board away as it slowly disappeared and you slowly landed on the ground.
“i’m y/n and for the past 5 months i’ve been spider-v living my live, maybe a concert here and there basic stuff you know” you said with a smile.
gwen elbowed hobie in his ribs since he was staring so hard at you “y/n this is hobie, gwen,” he sighed “and miles” you smiled at miles “i like your suit it’s really cool” he looked shocked “th-thanks” you smiled before hoping back up and sitting in the air on nothing resuming your beat making.
everyone walked out gwen looked at miguel “you trust her in there alone?” he nodded and continued walking.
—
a few hours later and you where still making a new beat finally liking on and listening to it when someone walked in scaring you making you fall but catch youself before you hit the ground “sorry ‘bout that love.”
you looked up to see hobie and once again you shooed your board away “hey hobie what’s up?”
he shrugged “nothing really just bored and heard your music” you nodded “wanna hear it?” he nodded before you put the head phones on him making him listen to it.
“i think there should be a beat drop you know?, where the music gets louder” you thought for a moment before nodding “that board what is it?” you looked at him confused “it’s for my music and everything, i make beats sometime edit others, remixes etc.” you said showing him all the stuff “tell ya what make one right now randomly i’ll tell you how everything works and let you make your own beat” he nodded.
“like that?” “exactly like that now i want to learn to play this thing” you said holding up the guitar hobie smirked “fine but don’t feel bad when your not as good as me” you shoved him lightly causing him to laugh.
—
miles, and gwen watched the interaction as pav spoke in a quiet tone “they’d be sooo cute” the two friends jumped “pav when’d you get here?!” he shrugged his shoulders “sometime ago, but i totally ship it.”
i hate this sm, but it’s fine but i’ll get better

Cleithrophobia - Chapter 11
Cleithrophobia: The fear of being trapped.
Pairing: Yandere Male Drider OC x Reader
Warnings (for the entire story): Yandere, Horror, Graphic Discriptions of Injury and Death, Spiders, NonCon Touching, Possible NonCon (depending on reader's interpretation), Implied Female Reader (although it doesn't really factor too heavily into the plot), Extreme Dead Dove Do Not Eat
Chapter 10 Index
Author's Note: Aaaand that's a wrap! I was going to wait until next week to post this, but you've all been so good waiting for updates that I thought you deserved to get it early. It's been so much fun starting this blog and seeing your reactions to the new chapters, and I can't wait to get started on my next story. I have a few ideas bouncing around, so stay tuned! But in the meantime, enjoy the final installment of our angry spider man!
This story was inspired by cobalt-sphinx's Drider x Reader from Quotev.
You didn't die that night; no. Death would’ve been kinder.
Every waking moment, the events of that night haunted you. Every time you fell asleep, it was as though you were reliving it all again.
Mars hadn’t let up the second you fell into his den. You tumbled down the tunnel that would be too steep to ever climb out of and slammed against the cold ground of the hollowed-out nest below, dimly lit with the lantern you had left in your meeting spot earlier in the night. The impact caused you to lose your breath, but almost immediately he was lifting you up again, roughly shoving his tongue down your throat as you weakly attempted to push him away.
Then he carried you to the newly laid webs in the corner... you shut your eyes. You didn’t want to remember what happened next.
But even now, you could still feel his hands ripping through your clothes, shredding them and leaving you in your most vulnerable state. You could feel his fangs tearing through the soft, delicate flesh of your body, the wet sound of his mouth slurping up your blood in between his loud proclamations of hate. Your voice was gone from all of the screaming, and crying, and begging for mercy, and you weren’t sure how often you passed out only to wake up again in the throes of your torture.
He had left no part of you untouched, unviolated, and you haven’t seen him since.
At some point, you had woken up to find him gone, and although it was impossible to tell how long you’d been here, it had to have been at least a few days. You were forced to lie there, starving and weak in a pool of your own blood and waste, as you fought with yourself to maintain your sanity. There was something inside of you, some weak desire to escape from the hell you’ve been subjected to, that was keeping you alive.
It was quiet, but eventually you heard the scratching of his legs against the dirt walls of the tunnel. He stopped when he reached the bottom, no doubt confused by the darkness of the den. You couldn’t bear to look at your injuries anymore, and over the course of a few excruciating hours you were able to roll over and turn the lantern off.
“This,” he said, as you heard him approach, “was supposed to stay on!”
The lights flickered on and you saw your captor’s irritated face, which quickly turned to surprise. It would’ve been almost comical, if you had the heart to laugh. The two of you looked each other over, him, holding the corpse of a goat by its broken neck, and you, looking like a prey animal that had met a much slower end. As he took you in, his confusion turned to an obvious disgust, and the embarrassment and shame you felt at your current state overtook you.
“...”
“They’re infected.” You were quick to explain. “The wounds, they’ve, uh... they’re festering. They need to be treated.”
It was awful and seeing them again was nothing short of nightmarish. There had been nothing here to clean them when they were fresh, and you wouldn’t have had the strength to do so anyway. In your solitude, you slowly watched as the area around the lacerations swelled and reddened, while a thick, foul-smelling pus leaked out of them. They burned and the redness spread around your body, along with the fever that’s been plaguing you ever since. Your skin glistened with sweat as you watched your skin begin to yellow, and then blacken, shriveling away to reveal the deep-seated fascia and layers of fat underneath. You laid there in agony as your condition worsened, all the while remembering your readings about the necrotizing properties of spider venom.
You were rotting away, from the outside in.
“Please...” you begged, your voice so weak and pathetic sounding that it only embarrassed you further. “Please, let me go. I just have to... have to treat it. I have to go to a hospital.”
He remained unimpressed. “Do you really think that will work on me?”
“I’m serious!” You begged. “I’ll do anything... I’ll come back the second that I can. But I can’t put it off any longer...!” He eyed your injuries again, observing old blood stains on the webs underneath you. The smell was nauseating, and perhaps that was what made him compromise.
“I’ll get you water-”
“No! Water would not do anything at this point, not this far along.“ The only thing that could save you now was a clean environment, with plenty of antibiotics, steroids, skin grafts.
“Please,” you tried again, “I swear to you that I will come back. I’ll die if I don’t!”
“You’ll die?!” He scoffed. “What do you think I do every day? How do you think I feel, knowing that you’re here, wanting to be close to you, but then remembering all of the shit that you did to me?! What I suffer, [Y/N], is a fate worse than death, and all of it is because of you.”
He leaned closer and held up the dead goat.
“This-” he said, shaking it in front of your eyes, “is what I’m supposed to be. An apex predator, one that listens to no one, especially not a useless human like yourself!”
And with that, he tore into its flesh. He maintained eye contact with you as you watched the meat of its body break down and liquify. You imagined yourself in the later stages of your necrosis, with your internal organs falling apart the same exact way.
You didn’t have it in you to be sick anymore. You were too numb. As you watched Mars devour his meal, you realized that this was the exact fate that you deserved. For all of the things that you’ve done to the people you claimed to care about. For Laura, Stan, and Shadow, whose deaths you had caused. You could never be allowed to make a full recovery, physically or mentally, because you have not earned it.
You sighed, closed your eyes, and waited for nature to take its course.
---
Mars stared down at your unconscious form. You hadn’t been responsive for a few days, and he had lost the last of his patience. He knew, in his heart, that you were being dramatic, that your injuries THAT HE INFLICTED UPON YOU were not nearly as bad as you claimed. He even cleaned your wounds for you, scrubbing them down using water from a nearby pond YOU’D TOLD HIM WATER WAS NOT ENOUGH TO HEAL YOU and the scraps of your old shirt.
He’s done everything he could NO HE HASN’T but you still refused to wake up.
“Hey.” He barked out. Silence.
“HEY.” This time he kicked you. Again, silence.
He knelt, taking one of your hands in his. He briefly glanced over the withered, blackened fingertips and yellowed, peeling nails, before biting into your cold palm. Blood gushed from the puncture, and he waited intently for you to wake up screaming, but he was still met with silence.
He stood and dropped your hand, which fell listlessly to the ground, and licked your blood from his lips. It was off, somehow, extremely sour and not at all as warm and sweet as it used to be.
His hands raked through his hair as he thought to himself. He wasn’t stupid, he knew what a rotten carcass looked like, he had seen them many times out in the woods. But you weren’t dead. You couldn’t be.
Slowly, he approached you again, and even slower, he lowered his ear to the marred flesh above your heart, ignoring the bit of yellow puss that rubbed off onto his cheek.
A heartbeat. He could barely feel it, much less hear it, but it was still there. He looked again at your disfigured face, at the deep cuts in the muscles that so closely resembled the raw meat that you used to bring to him.
He wasn’t stupid. He knew what a creature in its final moments looked like.
---
You had no way of feeling your naked body being wrapped in a dirty threadbare blanket, or the night’s cool air on your face. You couldn’t feel the way it rocked back and forth as it was carried through the forest. You couldn’t feel it being propped up against the wooden balusters of a front porch, either.
You could, however, hear a voice pulling you back from the darkness that you had been lost in.
“Alright, you’ve won.” It said. It kept tugging on the fabric around you. Adjusting it.
“I’ll take your previous deal.”
When a star is about to die, it receives one final burst of energy before it diminishes completely. Why that was the first thought you had as you mustered up the strength to open your eyes... you could not tell.
Your vision was blurry, and in your left eye it was almost entirely gone. You didn’t have a way to see how milky and deteriorated it had become. But somehow, you were able to make out a few pairs of red eyes staring at you, and a wide, thin mouth which revealed black fangs when it spoke next.
“Go, then, to your little human hospital and sort all of this out. And then afterwards – immediately afterwards – you'll come home again. Don’t... don’t you di-”
His voice caught in his throat, then he huffed in annoyance.
“Don’t you try to screw me over, okay? I’ll know if you try to get out of this one...!”
He stood up then, seemingly miles above you, and gave one final warning:
“Go there and come right back, [Y/N]. Just like you promised.”
Your eyes began to defocus as you heard him bang loudly on the front door and run away, into the pitch-black forest behind you. The door opened, and you heard the woman’s voice change as she processed the macabre scene before her.
“Hello? What is...? Oh... oh my God! Kids! Brandon, Kayla, get in your rooms! Get in them, right now! Charlie, I – Charlie, call 911! You- hey... are you alive? ...Listen, we’re going to get you help! We’re calling an ambulance! Just... just stay awake, alright? Just don’t fall asleep...!”
You held on to her words as much as you could. Deep down, you still felt the animalistic urge to continue living. No, a part of you still wanted to believe that you could get through to the other side of this, as little as you may deserve it. But as your eyelids pulled themselves closed, and as you felt your conciousness begin to slip, you weren’t so sure that you had the strength to hold on anymore...
THE END.

how do u think vinnie would react to habits true form. methinks it would conceptualize a lot of his quirks for him like of fucking course the guy who snarls and growls is. dog
I'VE ACTUALLY THOUGHT ABOUT THIS ALOT!! I don't know if I can actually expect people to agree with this but yk.. whatever😞‼️
this song is them to me btw.. yeah. Vinnie pov obviously
I CANNOT answer for habit as much as I can for Vinnie's pov of it all
This is probably in the candleverse/ somewhere that habit can just show his true form and I think at first Vinnie would be scared, but not necessarily because of what HABIT looks like but by the idea that HABIT is gonna eat him alive HEELPP. Though once Vinnie were to realize HABIT isn't gonna devour him he'd probably geek out or something, I mean this is a real thing he can touch and that other humans probably barely get to see and live to talk about it. And CANONICALLY!! Vinnie LOVES dogs. Vinnie would not really be a fan of all the spider legs but he would put up with them for sure. He would probably wanna take like thousands of pictures and videos (although it's probably impossible to capture habits true form on film just like most other entities) and Habit would thrive off the attention.
Vinnie would be looking at that true form and he probably just kinda forget it's HABIT for a moment and his brain goes full on "I need to feel the fur rn" and like any (in)sane person would do he would just pet him, NOW... It's a good 50/50 chance habit might bite one of his hands clean off but it's worth the risk. He would probably be embarrassed and back off pretty quickly when he remembers that he probably shouldn't just be reaching out to pet habit like he's some domesticated dog. But idk part of me feels like habit would encourage it?? he IS rather affectionate with Vinnie, I don't know if he'd really mind.
I feel like Vinnie is actually pretty thrilled to be seeing habit's true form, I mean being allowed to see something so powerful and elegant??? Vinnie can't help but feel special. (which is what habit wants, habit wants Vinnie to wanna worship him basically so he can get vinnie to make the Northstar/ just so he can get some company) and since he feels special he can't bring himself to hate anything that's going on.
now, he does obviously find habit to be unsettling (albeit beautiful) but he doesn't find habit to be a threat to him, Vinnie is very convinced that him and habit have a bond and that Habit would not kill him, atleast not with his own hands. Which this is proven in canon over and over again, vinnie finds safety and solace in habits company. Vinnie probably finds habit's true form to be stunning, especially since habit can still talk to him which is what reminds him that it's real.
Habit however has never had a person react the way Vinnie has to him EVER. he's always ready for screams of terror and people trying to get away and fight and kill him but Vinnie's first instinct is to get CLOSER and to ask just a shit ton of questions. And to be fair I honestly think Habit would snarl or growl at first until he remembers that it's better for his plan to just let Vinnie do whatever he wants. Obviously I think habit would joke with him and act like he's gonna kill him but not actually do anything because he likes to watch Vinnie's reaction which range from him getting pissed at habit, laughing, freaking out, or literally no reaction at all. All of which habit likes pretty much equally.
Imagine Vinnie just being like "WOAH. HOLY SHIT. UR A WOLF?#!$!$ YOU HAVE SPIDER LEGS??*?$! YOU HAVE TWO TAILS?$!!! WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME THIS BEFORE!!!!!!!!!!" and habit just thinks it's so funny and kind of charming that Vinnie even cares.

Looking Good
Summary: Peter 1 hates himself and MJ reminds him just how amazing he is ❤️
(First fic with Michelle Jones! ❤️ Zendaya characters still terrify me to write because I don't think I can do her characters the justice they deserve, but it doesn't hurt to try ❤️ This is for the one Anon who asked about Peter 1's MJ :) Also, I had to play on the fact Zendaya is 5'10 while Tom is only 5'7 😁 Enjoy!)
Peter studied himself in the mirror. He had always been grateful for the spider bite muscles and worked hard to maintain them, but he still felt self conscious about his looks. He was skinny but didn't have the height to pull it off. He had the muscle build but the wrong facial structure to go with it.
He was just forever a skinny, awkward teenager.
As he continued to study his body, another figure stepped into the doorway of his bedroom. "Peter?"
The young teen whirled around. "MJ!"
The taller teen smiled at her boyfriend before her eyes trailed down to his bare upper half.
Peter blushed as he wrapped the shirt in his hands around his body like a towel. "Hey! Hey. W-what's up?"
MJ furrowed her eyebrows as she studied her boyfriend's face. "Peter, everything okay?"
"Yeah, why wouldn't it be?"
"Because that's not how you wear a shirt."
"What do you mean?"
MJ raised one eyebrow.
Peter cleared his throat as he turned away. "Yeah I-I guess you're right."
While he moved to pull the shirt on over his head, MJ stepped further into the room. "Sorry, did I make you uncomfortable?"
One whirled back around to his girlfriend. "No way! You could never make me feel uncomfortable."
"Are you sure? You seem really tense."
"It has nothing to do with you MJ. I promise."
The taller female wasn't ready to let the subject go just yet. "Did something happen?"
Peter scoffed. "Absolutely nothing."
"Peter."
One looked up at his girlfriend with no vocal response.
"Peter, please?"
After a moment of silence, Peter finally responded. "I don't know. I just wish . . . I was better looking."
"What are you going on about?" MJ wrapped her arms around her boyfriend's shoulders.
"I wish I was taller."
MJ smiled. "No you don't. You'd have a higher chance of hitting your face more than you already do."
This managed to pull a smile out of the teen. "I wish my face looked better."
"What?" The taller teen couldn't resist smushing her boyfriend's face with one hand. "This adorable little face right here?"
Peter playfully pulled away. "Ihim serious."
"Pete, listen to me." MJ pressed her forehead against his. "I don't care if there were a million different versions of Peter out there. You will always be my favorite. Looks have nothing to do with it by the way. Those are just an added bonus."
Although MJ wanted to boost her boyfriend's self-esteem, he still seemed unsure of her compliments. The taller of the two wracked her brain for a cheerup when a wonderful idea suddenly made her grin. She knew something that was sure to put a smile on her boyfriend's face.
MJ led Peter over to his bed and sat down. "If you won't believe my words then I'll just have to show you how amazing you are."
"What are you up to?" Peter asked suspiciously.
"You'll see." MJ pulled her boyfriend toward her. "Come here."
Although he was still suspicious, Peter let his girlfriend pull him between her legs and rest his back against her chest. "If you wanted to cuddle you could have just asked."
"Where's the fun in that?" The taller teen wrapped Peter in a hug. "Plus I didn't think you'd willingly be the little spoon."
Peter's blush reappeared. "I like being the little spoon."
"I'll remember that." MJ snuggled closer to her boyfriend. "But now you need to listen to me compliment you on how amazing you are."
The smaller teen groaned. "I could get free."
"But you won't. I know you won't."
"You're such a jerk Michelle Jones."
While Peter was distracted, MJ slipped a hand under his shirt. "No. I just know how to put a smile on your face."
The smaller male's eyes widened. "What are you---?"
MJ started spidering her hand across One's tummy. "Nothing."
Peter squeaked before dissolving into giggles. "Ehem Jahay."
"What was this negative talk you were saying about yourself? About your looks?" The taller teen let her finger lazily trace her boyfriend's abs. "Because I could trace these abs all day."
"Nohoho! Dohont yohou dahare!"
"Just think, if you were any taller, you wouldn't fit so perfectly in my lap."
Peter didn't respond. He was too busy giggling from the finger gliding around and around his hyper ticklish stomach. However, he had yet to move her hand or squim away from her either.
MJ lifted her other hand to scratch under his chin. "And if your face was any different, your smile wouldn't look right."
Peter's giggles became higher pitched from the affection.
Now the taller teen's finger circled her boyfriend's belly button. "You know, you and your belly button have a lot in common."
"Nohoho!"
"Yeeees," MJ teased as she ran her nail around the rim of his belly button. "You're both tiny and cute, you went through a lot to get here, and you're both so very important."
"Whahat?"
"Well, your belly button gave you a lot of nutrients in the womb. Now your torso looks incomplete without it." MJ finally paused her tracing. "And now my life would look incomplete without my tiny and cute little boyfriend."
Peter collapsed into a puddle of giggles, but the grin never left his face.
"Yeah, my life wouldn't be the same without you Peter Benjamin Parker."
With two of her fingers, MJ gently lifted her boyfriend's chin so she could give him a kiss on the lips. Both of them stayed quiet as the kiss lingered on, MJ's hand laying still on Peter's tummy.
Once the two pulled away, the taller of the two brought her hand up to run her fingers through her boyfriend's hair. "Feeling better about yourself?"
"Aha littlehel." The blush on Peter's cheeks darkened. "Think Ihi mihight neheed some extraha persuahasihion?"
"Oh absolutely." MJ immediately started dragging her nails across Peter's tummy with the lightest touch ever just to drive him up in pitch. "You're too stubborn to give up right away."
And for several minutes, MJ 'persuaded' her boyfriend to see just how amazing he really was.

👀😁
hello to you! not this one actually being something that was fun and recent.. will it be complete! much to think about! But like it screams love tri i fear xxxxx
Peter takes the stairs three at a time, his thighs burning with exertion with how fast he’s moving. He needs this job. He’s not even sure how he got this job because he’s an amateur photographer at best and this is a big gig but he’d be foolish to not try everything to keep it.
Being twenty-five minutes late is not going to help his case, so he runs a little faster.
He hasn’t even seen the location before, let alone checked the lighting, or any of the setups he wants to try. He’s not even sure what he’s supposed to be capturing. All he really knows is that he hates working for Jameson, his electricity is about to be shut off due to something silly like not paying his bills and he was asked for personally by the model which is one of the stranger things to ever happen to him. And he’s fought aliens before.
He has no idea who it is because he doesn’t have any friends and the only model he knows, or knew, is MJ. She doesn’t remember him because he’s an arsehole who told her he’d tell her everything and then was too terrified to lose her that he spent the next year convincing himself he was doing the right thing in not going back to the doughnut shop. Even if she did know who he was now, she was propelled into stardom the second she hit college, and she was always miles out of his league anyway. He’s not sure she’d even look in his direction anymore.
When he reaches the front door, Peter wipes the sweat from his brow, shakes out the legs of his trousers and takes a deep, I’m definitely qualified for this job, breath. The door opens before he can raise his hand and he’s ushered into a bustling room that would have his senses going haywire if everything in his body wasn’t focusing on the fact he can hear her heartbeat.
“MJ,” he whispers.
“Yeah,” the guy in front of him answers as he takes his bag for him. “I don’t know why she picked you either but she did so can you hop to it?”
MJ turns to look at him then, her eyes flicking over him as people surround her touching up makeup and hair that already looks flawless.
“Oh hey, Peter,” she says. And he allows himself a second to think that maybe this was all a dream as she walks over to him. Maybe she's always known who he was.
"Hey," he stumbles. "Thanks for - er - how did you know -"
“You take the photos of Spider-Man, right?”

Emotional isolation
Existential crises
(implied) EDs
Saviour complexes
Suicide
self harm
please stay safe <3
Some people were born with hearts of glass that could break at any second, others with hearts of gold that keep giving and never tarnish, no matter what. I could never understand whatever heart I had, or if I even had one to begin with, I lived with poison running in my veins, rushing through me and telling my life’s ending as soon as it had begun, Now I’ve thought of it, I must have a lead weight in the place of a heart throbbing inside my chest, crushing me with pressure and turning my blood to poison yet no matter what it wouldn’t ever let me die. A life in agony was a fate worse than death to me, after all.
Since I could remember I felt as though there was something separating me from the rest of the world, a pane of stained glass obscuring their faces ,voices and souls if those are real. I don’t know what it was but something had felt wrong like something inside of me was missing but I could never figure out what it was. I pushed and shoved it to the back of my mind until I felt real again but the glass which obscured my eyes and brain slowly melted that could leak out into me and whoever I was with like black tar. Looking back , I knew it would corrupt me for I was nothing but a hollow porcelain doll that could never have a heart , a soul or a personhood.
The days until I shattered into a billion pieces, slicing red ribbons into the hands which had held me were numbered and seemed to be counting down rapidly, even back then I had an idea of the pain I would cause. I hated it the way I knew that my true nature would burrow into me, boring into my arms like maggots which would make me rotten and repulsive to anyone who so much as thought of me.
Another part of me that felt wrong was that I seemed to lack the right senses, not as in common sense but as in my physical senses, I could see and hear perfectly and yet they were always so different from those around me. On cold days I would be perfectly fine in a summer dress that was so thin it could’ve been made of spider’s webs but on summer days I insisted on wearing a jumper over my school uniform. Gradually, people started to ask questions
‘Rhiannon, aren’t you cold in that?’
“You must be boiling, it’s thirty degrees outside”
All I knew was I had to let people trust me, I didn’t care if I corrupted them or they corrupted me, that was simply how it had to be, back then you’d look at me and wouldn’t suspect a thing, I was the perfect actress flowing into whatever they wanted like how water changes shape after it’s poured into glasses. To my parents I was a ray of sunshine who could dissolve the room into puddles of laughter, to my teachers I was quiet and always had my nose stuck in a book. I managed to do well in just about everything. School was a breeze for me, I moved through it in a sort of bubble, like I was watching the others as an observer.
This worked until it didn’t… I soon realised that I had to be what the other students wanted me to be as well as the teachers, something inside me shifted right to the bottom, the corruption that made itself at home squirmed down to my legs turning them into cement. When they yelled at me and called me names I froze and felt pieces of me leave and float out of my head like ashes of burnt paper floating up from a bonfire.
I thought what was floating out of me was corruption but it was my humanity. As I saw their true natures lashing out at me, as though they were spiders that seemed harmless but left venomous bites all over my body. At that moment I knew that if I didn’t change something soon I wouldn’t be a person anymore, if I ever was, and if that happened, well, I wouldn’t have anything left. I’d live as an empty body, floating through life with no ambition. I wouldn't have sadness or happiness, pain would be the same as poking somewhere that had been numbed with anaesthetic.
I would have neither happiness nor unhappiness, I would simply dissolve to nothing
Maybe becoming nothing would be the best for me, if I threw away what was left of me like it was old clothes then I would have extra space to become whatever they wanted and more. In becoming nothing, I had to become everything. The only difference was that ‘everything’ was always changing, the only constant with me was change. With my teachers I was quietly enthusiastic, my nose was always in a book and I always had my hands up but with my classmates I was always the most outgoing, the short, perky girl with pigtails and a wide smile that was plastered across my face and never seemed to quite leave. I used to hope that if the wind changed my face would get stuck like that for ever and ever.
I liked this Rhiannon, she gave me the permission to blurt out whatever I wanted, to sit cross legged on the chairs in class and best of all to seem out-of place enough so that I didn’t feel like I was telling the most enormous, all encompassing lie to ever be told, I mean I’m sure if the world was powered by lies then power cuts would be a thing of the past but how many people bethe lie themselves. I was a walking lie and I hoped with all my heart that the spider's web of smiles and antics that I had cocooned myself into would never unravel or if it did then I would just be reduced to nothing but the slime inside of actual cocoons.
Even then it was hard to keep up the act with some days just begging me to drop it completely. Of course I never did but I got dangerously close to it, I was beginning to learn more and more about the world outside of the small town in the middle of nowhere that I lived. I can’t remember everything , if you told me I just turned up to reality at the age of 12, I’d believe you. but I do have one strong memory which is as clear cut as a diamond.
I was 10 and It was a burning hot day sometime in June. I had finished an end of year test that really meant nothing but seemed like the end of the world at the time. The back of my summer uniform clung to my back like a nagging thought. I sat in the back of my dad’s car, waiting for him to start driving and answering the usual questions that he asked at the end of every school day: ‘how are you’ (I’m okay) , ‘how was your day’ (too hot but it was good) and a few other things that are stuck to the edge of my memory trying to escape but can’t.
The radio turned on and for a while it was silent as we drove down the streets, I stared out of the window watching people as they walked to their cars down the sun-speckled pavement. I never listened to the radio when I was younger but that day I heard a word that I didn’t know, I turned away from the window and peered over the carseat, twisting the green ribbon fixing my ponytail between my fingers I piped up
“Dad, what’s suicide?”
what followed was a speech that seemed to last a thousand years (you know the ones and they’re always when you just want a short answer) but was really just the rest of the journey home, after the first few words his borderline yelling faded into droning white noise but what left his mouth first always stuck with me, mostly because it came so suddenly as did his seeming anger at me for asking a simple question
“It’s a way for weak people to weed themselves out” .
Even then what struck me was the sarcastic way he said the “people” as though there was a hierarchy for causes of death and if you had committed suicide, you were somehow disqualified as a person no matter what else you had done in life besides that one thing. It felt like knowing something other people didn’t and not in a good way. Once again, I was dirty and corrupted and nothing would ever change that besides hiding it behind more and more perfection like it was a speck of dirt on a wall I could paint over like nothing had happened. Later that year I transferred schools, I wasn’t told why and honestly thought it was so I didn’t tell my class what suicide meant and assumed I’d just keep being passed from school to school to stop me from telling somebody else.

(doesn't have to be today, take your time)
Doesn't even have to be something too long, just needs to be something lmao
So remember the Cairyx roomie thingy? (not the same anon btw) I know there's no established timeline, but there's hints that Cairyx "moves in" with Roomie before 2009 a.k.a the beeg cdta disaster
I wanted to make a request about : what if Cairyx decided to bring Luce along to meet his roomie, at fucking 2 am or shit, and now roomie has to put with the titan goat man as well for the next hour or two
If having one troublemaker is already enough stress on your sleep schedule, imagine two troublemakers who are divorced and one of them is the literal Devil
(Optional : DJ Roomie)
(Also optional : They wake roomie up by turning music up at super loud volume)
(I wrote all of this on my phone btw)
Okie-dokie!
If there is one thing you hated most in the world, it's rowdy neighbors waking you up in the middle of the night. Add a spider roommate that fucks around with your stuff and you might as well be begging for death.
Tonight was no different although he decided to bring his goat demon whatever-the-hell-it-was to your room. At 2 AM. And how do they wake you up? By blasting heavy metal music at a really loud volume. You were already scrambling out of bed, screaming and reaching for the plug.
"CAIRYX, I SWEAR TO GOD IF YOU DON'T TURN THAT SHIT OFF RIGHT NOW, I AM GOING TO-"
You stop your screaming when you see a towering goat like figure staring at you. It was standing on its hind legs, its head tilted in an inquisitive manner. There were two sets of horns on its head. One was goat horns, the other was straight and pointed. Its eyes were bright, glowing red with its pupils shaped like pentagrams.
You try to process what you were seeing, but the screaming voices coming from the loudspeaker made it hard to focus. You just stare at the eight legged abomination that is your roommate.
"Cairyx. What the fuck?"
A few minutes later, you sat at the kitchen table, staring at Cairyx and his friend, coffee cup in hand.
"So. Are you gonna tell me why exactly you brought the Goatman to my place? I already have to deal with drunk people picking fights on my property during parties. You could've broken my stereo."
"we couldn't think of a better way to wake you up. :::)"
"Don't you mean you? My idea was much better." The goatman retorted.
"you mean dragging roomie here to the nightmare sand pit? i don't think so."
"You just don't like fun."
"yes i do. i bring them food. :::("
"By food, you mean bringing me animal carcasses that stain my freshly cleaned carpets?" You blankly asked Cairyx.
"you were starving. i had to bring you something."
"Let's be honest, anyone would lose their appetite if you keep bringing dead animals."
Cairyx turned to his goat friend. "soooo.... i've been thinking."
"If you say we should watch Titanic again, I'm gonna throw you out a window."
"uno."
The goatman groaned.
"c'mon, luce. it'll be fun."
"Fine. But I'm winning this time."
"You guys do that. I'm gonna go to bed." You say, sauntering off to your room.
Luce did not, in fact, win. Even with the pillow over your head, you can still hear them bickering at each other in a language that you didn't understand. You thought you heard crashing and glass shattering. You groan.
I'm never gonna get out of here, am I?

I joined Cellbit stream in a raid because I caught the very end of Pac's stream And I've been there for around 3 hours Meanwhile, I've managed to fix a create machine Cellbit asked the admins to give him more difficult enigmas and they did a good job on it They managed to get a man and some many other people to look at the same image for hours I looked at his discord to see if anyone managed to find the answer and apparently not even them got it Also I've saw those insane duo reblogs, it's not like you like them, right? Romance is good, but sometimes I question if I'm not aro at this point platonic relationships are everything to me, the favela six on general are just... THEY LOVE AND TRUST EACH OTHER SO MUCH YOUR HONOR Insane duo is one of the best relationships on this island, be it romantic or platonic however you prefer, they are just auashfuadshuasdfas But the fact that the brazilians have a surprisingly healthy relationship is so funny Like, let's start from the moços 2 guys who got arrest and have... I don't how to say this on english but they basically have confessed the crimes to incriminate one another if I remember well Alright, they tried to escape (and Mike might have killed a office, is never clarified but still agression towards a autority figure) Got caught Got send to Alcatraz Met Jvnq trying to escape, who got caught and later send to solitary and stayed there for a week And then- Hold on Cellbit might be finally solving this AND IS PLAYING ELEANOR RIGBY Or maybe not I don't know anymore BUT IS PLAYING ELEANOR RIGBY You got to see a lot of my reactions watching today's stream Thanks for listening to me, king Going back And then met Cell, local canibal psycopath And yeah I think that enigma might be getting into Cellbit's head, I was writing and then I just hear a sound kkkkkkkkkkkk WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT I can't say anything, I do those weird sounds sometimes To no be to long The moços try to escape with Jv, wich was a plan that would only include 3 people, wich Cell forced them to include him but then Jv said they would escape without him AND CELLBIT DISCOVERED IT FINALLY "ABAIXAR ATRÁS DO SOFÁ"(CROUCH BEHIND THE SOFA) LES GOOOOOOOOOOO AFTER I DON'T HOW MANY HOURS Now he just have to find the right sofa Cell kills Jv, Pac and Mike bury him At some point Cell eats Pac's leg, wich people who watched recently said to not see that scene and people don't know if it happens in other series or if it's a collective delirium The point is, Felps is somehow alive and they are all friends and family now and they raise a son together This is the apice of humor to me
Like yeah, their family is 3 ex convicts(one who is a canibal-) a fomer guard who was suposedly dead, a carioca, an egg with a cow head and now a amneasic Oh, and the spider husband one of them The average brazilian family fr And the serve closed while Cellbit was trying to find the sofa, the world is agaisnt him Ok, I DON'T KNOW IF HE SOLVED IT OR NOT ANYMORE -God of the Plate anon
ive had cellbits stream open since he started but i only started paying attention to him after slimecicle ended stream JKNSDVKJASN im sorry enigma man but the slime guy is default fav...... its not your fault he just keeps my attention....
NOOO CELLBITS DISCORD!! I BELIEV EIN YOU!! I BELIEVE THAT YOU CAN SOLVE IT QUICKER THEN CELLBIT HIMSELF!! DON'T LOSE HOPE!!
plate anon is here to keep me in check. god bless them i hate insaneduo <33
i think you can easily see insaneduo as romantic and platonic, like no matter what you can't ignore how they care about each other so much and will lietrally do anything for the other person and the amount of trust they have in each other it's insane i adore them. I ADORE THE ENTIRE FAVELA SIX AS A WHOLE - WAILS - THEY ARE ALL FAMILY AND THEY WILL STICK TOGETHER NO MATTER WHAT TT IT MAKES ME TTTTT -CRIES-
im obsessed with seeing you react to cellbits stream as you write this ask btw akjsdvnjksda its very fun keep it up <33
i love the idea that like. somehow all four of them (cellbit, tazercraft and felps) all have such a rough past with each other but all went on a boat together for no apparent reason (made peace with each other maybe? a little bit?) and somehow along the way picked up Forever, someone NONE of them know well or have heard of but he's also here on the boat and going with them across the sea kjasdnvjaksdj
the favela are the superior family i simply love them i want them to be happy
#✉️ asks or whatever#🍽️ anon#the french are almost equally as funny though#because someone all of them EXCEPT for Etoiles is apart/have some sort of connection to the Federation#Baghera's a kid who grew up(?) in the federation but escaped and came back#aypierre has been experimented on (?) by thee federation?? i dont remember exactly what but i know theres a connection there#and kameto and antoine are both like spies/actively working for the feds lol#only etoiles like super hates the federation you know?
