On a plot of farmland near the beach, my family sets up their modest tent. This place has become a shelter for my family after the devastating war forced them out of their warm home. Now, they suffer the hardships of living in a tent, which neither shields them from the heat of summer nor protects them from the harsh cold of winter.
My older brother says that he had to buy a tent for 3,600 shekels ($1,000) after enduring for a long time in a makeshift shelter, made of wooden sticks covered with a piece of nylon, a blanket, or any worn-out fabric. The problem with such a shelter is that it provides little cover, and if you need to move, it’s impossible to take it with you. So, you leave it behind and move to another area. This happened to him at least twice, prompting him to search for a tent that could be easily moved whenever the war forced him to relocate.
After getting the tent, a new struggle begins: finding a place to pitch it. It’s as if life has returned to a primitive state—no kitchen, no bathroom, no water taps. This is how my brother describes the hardship of living in the tent.
A tent is even harsher than the idea of a shared room in a stranger’s house, as it means that the bathroom will be inside the tent itself, set up in a primitive way. Otherwise, you’ll have to use a shared bathroom located half a kilometer away, set up by a charity organization. You have to carry a plastic jug or bottle of water with you. If a woman needs to use the bathroom at night, she can’t leave the tent alone without waking one of the men to accompany her in the embarrassing walk through the tents to reach the makeshift bathroom, which consists of a marble seat surrounded by fabric or rusty tin sheets. And the story doesn’t end there.
This is what my family’s nights in Gaza look like. More pain!
I urge you to look at my displaced and torn family with mercy and give them the chance to continue their lives in peace. I now stand before you with hope, seeking help for what remains of my family to provide them with a better life and to allow them to live in safety and peace.

Pay attention to Turkey. 🇹🇷
Pay attention to Iraq. 🇮🇶
Pay attention to Russia. 🇷🇺
Pay attention to Saudi Arabia. 🇸🇦
Pay Attention to Europe. 🇪🇺
Why?
Because these are the countries that are doing the dirty work by subduing Israel. 🇮🇱
Not Donald Trump!
D. Trump did his job when he offered Benjamin Netanyahu a peace deal. It was declined. You have to understand Iraq is going to be the power house next to America in the Middle East. Not Israel.
How?
Because Israel does not control the trade routes required in order to have the contracts needed to have close diplomatic ties with other countries that share their views of conquests who will support them. That is why Benjamin Netanyahu came crying to the US Congress for more money.
Everyone reading this needs to look up the Iraqi Development Road Project. This is the momentum needed in order to pull off what B. Netanyahu is attempting to do in Gaza. But he can't. Because Saudi Arabia is in the process of recognizing them as a state.
Guess who is not coming out against this?
Donald Trump. You have not seen anything on D. Trump's social media accounts denouncing this maneuver by Saudi Arabia who will ultimately defeat Israel.
Stop looking for D. Trump to verbally assault Israel.
Stop looking for D. Trump to say anything negative about Benjamin Netanyahu.
Stop looking for D. Trump to come out and denounce war against terrorism.
None of this is neccessary. When there is a sting op occurring the honey pot is placed to attract the bees away from the nest that is being removed. Who could be the honey pot(the distraction) Donald Trump?
You do not have to swat a single bee. While they are distracted with the honey you can peacefully remove the hive and get rid of all of them without using any spray. Especially if the queen is no longer there.
The Monarch gone.
The Rothschilds trapped.
The Deep State in panic.
The media is useless.
The puppet masters removed.
The Normies are clueless.
But you who are paying attention are "The New Republic".
You all need to start acting that way. You can not run around reacting to everything like the general public is doing. What use will you be once disclosure gets here and they run to you and you are just as confused as they are?
Please, nothing is happening haphazardly in any regard. You are watching a controlled demolition of the old guard in slow motion. That way as it is happening you can learn about all the agendas that were created to enslave you and be prepared to share that with others who are oblivious to everything you are reading here.
The WTO announcement already that the world is waiting on Iraq. Not Israel. They are a non factor. Which is why they are being ignored and have no major trade deals on the level that Iraq has. No competition. Why do you think China removed Israel off of their largest map platform 24 hrs after the Belfour Declaration expired late October 31st last year?
But that was just a coincidence right?
F♤ck outta here with that sh¡t. 🤔

Do you support Israel or Palestine?
the way this question is phrased just lets me know how much yall have truly lost the plot. these are real peoples LIVES youre talking about, theyre not two sports teams pitted against each other.
I've lived in Israel for the first 12 years of my life; unfortunately I know what its like to live through war, I know what its like to run to the shelter and be a terrified lil kid thinking you could really just die. you guys have been treating this topic on social media like its the next oMGgg hashtag israel is sooo cancelled!!!🤪 and you can't even be blamed for having such a privileged standpoint because you literally can't even fathom what it's like to live through war.
with that being said, what's been happening in Gaza is x10000 more horrific than what is happening in Israel. Palestinians need support right now way more than anyone else. if you can't extend your empathy to ALL the innocent people that have been affected in this war, that's okay, Palestinians do need it more right now, more empathy, and all the support we can possibly give them.
I've been using this tumblr account since I was like 14 and I've always been vocal about not supporting the IDF/the israeli government. always talked about how much I absolutely hate Israel and hated living there. all this stuff might be news to you, but I've alwayssss had this view point, I've always been aware, and I've always wanted peace. I signed papers saying I will not be joining the IDF when I was 16, as soon as I got my american citizenship. moving here and being able to legally opt out of the IDF is a HUGE privilege.
every day that I live here I'm so grateful I'm here and not over there, I'm so happy I don't live in fear anymore. just because people in Israel absolutely have it better than the people in Gaza, doesn't mean they have it as good as you do living in the US. so if this war hasn't affected your life on a personal level, if you had the privilege of not knowing about this war until the past year, if you wouldn't have known about it at all if it weren't for social media and news outlets, if you don't have any loved ones in Israel or Gaza, be very aware of your privilege and be very grateful.
Instead of blindly hating the people of Israel and ragging on Israel on social media which is entirely fucking pointless, use that energy to show Palestinians your support instead. (also very ironic that hate is whats fueling this whole thing and you guys are choosing to spread unnecessary hate at a time like this...... just makes me lose faith in humanity tbh 🫤)
Find reputable organizations you can donate to (anything that directly goes to families over in Gaza, I think operation olive branch is a good one but please do some research about it first incase new info about it came to light, I can't remember), write to congress to ceasefire now (search it up on google you will easily find it, they also have prompts already written out you can copy and paste), support Palestinian-owned businesses and artists, look up if there are any Palestinian restaurants near you thet you can eat at, support Palestinian artists!! you can find more ways to help by looking it up on google or tiktok. spread some love today and do atleast one thing to support Palestinians today 💗 thank you if you read all this with an open mind :)

what's happening in gaza?
i know first hand that it's very difficult to fully understand what's going on in the world right now, especially coming from somewhere that is so different culturally, geographically, and historically as palestine. being online recently and seeing that people are being called zionists for simply asking questions about what's going on or not fully understanding bc, for the most part, it isn't your fault that you are so ignorant to the issue at hand. news sources based around the world and misinterpreting the situation in order to put palestine in bad lighting, so it's important that you all take some time and do your own individual research to look into what's going on, what your stance is, and what you can do to help. no one is asking you to donate your last $100 if you cannot afford to do so, but the acts of declaring your side and participating in boycotts are enough support to at least show the people of gaza that THEY ARE NOT ALONE.
below i've put together a few articles from different sources with different backgrounds, if you're interested, please read a few of these sources and educate yourselves on the situation. i've included sources to explain what's going on now, what's happened between israel and palestine in the past, the kinds of things that are happening in gaza, and why this is being treated as a genocide instead of a war. this is what i've been able to find, but if you discover some more pls feel free to reach out and i'll add them to my list!! everyone be safe and be kind to one another <3
What is Hamas and why is it fighting with Israel in Gaza (BBC)
Israel and Palestine: a complete guide to the crisis (The Guardian)
Timeline: A look into the long history of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict (ABC)
The history of conflict between Israel and Palestinian militants in Gaza (CBC)
A 'cultural genocide': Which of Gaza's heritage sites have been destroyed? (Al Jazeera)
Key takeaways from UN court's ruling on Israel's war in Gaza (AP News)
Israel-Palestine conflict: what is the two-state solution and what are the obstacles? (Reuters)
'Chilling effect': People expressing pro-Palestinian views censured, suspended from work and school (CBC) (this one is not directly about gaza, but shows the way that people are being punished just for supporting the people of palestine against this genocide)
ALSO PLS KEEP IN MIND THAT any acts of violence being committed by the hamas group is NOT a representation of the people of palestine, and the inhumane and monstrous treatment of these people absolutely is not deserved in return for the things being done by the hamas. regardless of your political stance, if you believe that the way that israel has treated palestinians in the past and continue to treat them in the present in deserved or justified in ANY WAY, pls unfollow and block me bc i want nothing to do with you.

Before I say anything, please read this with a friendly tone because I am absolutely not saying this in a nasty way.
I think it’s wonderful that you are spending time at your school’s encampment to protest the genocide in Gaza. Our voices are being heard, it’ll just take some time before we see results.
But, when you say Zionist, I have the weird feeling that you mean Jew. And the reason I say that, is because I have seen so many videos, tweets and interviews where the protestors are calling for violence against Jews. Not Zionists, Jews.
And please, please don’t try to say that’s a lie because I have seen way too much evidence that support what I’m saying.
No one in their right mind would ever support what’s going on in Gaza. The Israeli government MUST be held accountable for what they’re doing.
But when there are people calling for violence against Jews, people will react violently. This has happened before & it’s terrifying that even though I don’t support Israel and am disgusted by their actions, I am still a target for these people simply because I’m visibly Jewish.
I am proud of my heritage and being Jewish, I had family members who survived the concentration camps, which is a major part of why I would never support what Israel is doing to the innocent people in Gaza.
Maybe I’m being sensitive, but when you say things like this, I can’t help but feel that I would need to avoid you and your friends simply because I’m jewish & don’t want to get attacked for it.
Thank you for being friendly about this and explaining your feelings in a comprehensive way. I think it’s important to set any misunderstandings right, especially when liberation calls for unification and compassion.
When I say zionist, I do not mean Jewish. I won’t gaslight you into distrusting the evidence you’ve witnessed of others’ words, especially since I haven’t been given that evidence to watch for myself, but I need to make it clear that I am strictly referring to those who support the genocidal entity of Israel when I call out their brutality.
I understand why you might feel hesitant, as precaution is a given when you’ve been exposed to past discrimination. But please do not misrepresent my words. I am very against antisemitism. Within my school’s encampment, Jewish students have been one of the loudest voices calling for peace, and even if that weren’t the case, I am intelligent enough not to conflate them with a proper fascist doctrine. In fact, part of my advocacy against the state of Israel discusses the fact that their actions done ‘in the name of judaism’ are directly harming the Jewish community by associating them with this attack, and so it would be hypocritical of me to then believe such disinformation.
I don’t know how many other ways I can say it, but in the future, please don’t apply accusations onto someone who has never given you reason to do so. I am very careful upon choosing my words, and I have never pushed the narrative that the Jewish population is responsible for what’s happening in Gaza. They are not the ones who should face the consequences, and I’m sorry that you seem to have come across those who believe otherwise, but that is not me.
I also didn’t call for violence, if that’s what you’re concerned about. In my previous post, all I meant was that we should call out zionists for their brutal reactions to peaceful protests (look at what happened at UCLA for example). That is, to hold them accountable, since the state isn’t interested in doing so.
(and if anyone is using Israel’s attack on Gaza as an excuse to express their rotten prejudices and antisemitism then block me. this is not a safe space for you)
#again thank you for being respectful#i would never attack someone for simple being jewish#or for any unwarranted reason for that matter#༄dee answers

Saw video today of a young boy in Gaza, no older than early teens, sobbing as he prayed with his community over the bodies of his entire family who had been slaughtered by Israel. His entire family.
As we watch the most gut-wrenching scenes, the most horror filled images filling our screens every second of every day, I know I personally feel helpless and devastated and lost on what to do. We may not feel as though we have much power in these moments, but there are things we can do to make our voices heard and to help as much as we can. Here are some important ways you can help the people of Gaza:
purchase e-sims and send them to this email, where they are distributing the e-sims for free to people in Gaza. This ensures that they can stay connected, both to the world at large but, more importantly, to their families and communities. As Israel continues to cut off all internet in Gaza, this is crucial. This account on tw*tter has more information about their efforts to distribute the e-sims.
Share what is happening wherever you have a platform and, most importantly. Speak out what is happening with the people in your real life community. For 75 years Israel has convinced the world that the situation is "complex" and have managed to dissuade "normal" everyday people from speaking out on the atrocities they have been ceaselessly carrying out. Don't let them undermine your intelligence and don't let them try to convince you that what you are seeing isn't actually a genocide. Share posts from Palestinians and Gazans and be vocal about your support for a ceasefire and a free Palestine.
Boycott!! BDS (Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions) has released a list of companies to boycott who are profitting from or contributing too the genocide in Gaza. There are, unfortunately, so many companies that profit and contribute to Israel, but BDS has put together a list of targeted companies to ensure we can narrow our focus and make maximum impact. The most commonly known right now are McDonald's, Starbucks, and Dominoes, but this link has more information and a list with different categories for us to be aware and use our most powerful tool, our money, to make an impact.
Read!! There are dozens of book lists out there now that contain different kinds of writings for every kind of person. Novels that tell the stories of the Palestinian people through fiction-style writing. Academic texts. Historical non-fiction works that tell the history of the occupation. Find something that will be of benefit to you and READ. An informed populace is a powerful populace.
Protest! Find a protest in your area and GO! Not only does this help to show the world and our governments what it is the people stand for, with more people attending sending a stronger message, it will also help you find community and support with people who understand the devastation we feel.
Reach out to your elected officials!! Call, email, fax, or even write letters! This is a huge way that we as individuals can change the policy positions of our elected officials. The more people who tell them "this issue matters and will effect my voting decisions in the future", the more likely they will be to change their position. And even if it feels like you're just yelling at the wall, it will feel good to say what you feel and what you believe to someone that you KNOW has the power to change things. It won't be automatic, and can be disheartening, but it is important.
I'm sure there are even more ways to help, and please share them below if you have any! Keep your head up and keep going. Don't look away. The people of Gaza have asked us to bear witness to the atrocities being carried out against them, to speak out for them as they lose their voices, and to pray for them and hope for them. Don't abandon them, and don't abandon hope. Hope is the strongest force we have in times of such darkness. Together, we can and we will see a free Palestine.

Weekly Summary October 20, 2023
Hi peeps, lots of stuff happened this week, so I'm going to do my weekly summary instead of individual posts or answering individual Asks. This is a LONG one, so grab a drink, and dive right in for: Ringgate, Sam and the City, and Sam and open letter and follow up statement. Also, starting tomorrow, I'll be off for the weekend, my man surprised me with a trip away to the beach before the weather starts to cool down.
Anyhooo, let's start off with something light. #ringgate. For different reasons some fans get verklempt when Sam wears jewelry, and panties definitely get twisted or wet, depending on who you are, when Sam dons RINGS. Sam wore the 2 rings he's been wearing lately during his appearance on Jimmy Fallon a few days ago. Sidenote: Samshine is EXTRA Samshiny is in this pic. Say what you want about him, but the man is BEAUTIFUL 👇
So, of course, Extreme Shippers are convinced Sam is "finally" wearing his wedding rings because he's married to Cait. Um, one small problem, Caitriona Mary Balfe is already married to Tony McGill. Some Non-Shippers get excited to see him wear rings because maybe it makes them think of when Sam WILL get married. There is something about a man wearing rings. I find it sexy as well. But, alas, these rings are on the right hand and Scottish people wear wedding rings on the left hand. Also, Sam's definitely NOT married to anyone since we've seen him linked to several women lately.
For the people who had doubts the copper looking ring is an Oura ring, it definitely is. Here is what the two rings most likely are. The silver one I'm told by some of the Team is
And here is the Oura ring he's wearing, most likely in Rose Gold. It's basically a ring with a computer in it to keep track of physical stuff, the way a fitbit or Apple watch does. Seems EXACTLY like something Sam would wear 👇 So, let's put #ringgate to rest now, please.
On to WHERE in New York had Sam been hiding. Everyone thought he had left and that his recent appearance on Jimmy Fallon had been taped earlier, until we saw THIS fan pic with him. 👇
My New York sources said he had not been seen at his usual hotel The Crosby. I'm putting out the name now just because EVERYONE knows that's where he stays in New York. He used to stay at The Bowery Hotel, but the last few years it's been The Crosby. None of the usual pic and autograph hounds got pics with him, so we assumed he wasn't staying there. All those hounds have contacts at the different hotels and restaurants frequented by celebs, so they would have been alerted to Sam staying there. Soooooo, if he wasn't at The Crosby, BUT he was in New York, THEN the possibilities are. He's aware too many fans know he stays at The Crosby, so he's switched hotels. Or he decided to rent an Airbnb instead. Or he stayed with friends. Or he does have a lady friend in New York, like some think, and he stayed with her. Who knows...but I'm sure we will find out...
Onto more serious matters. I'll preface this by saying I have made it a policy on my blog to NOT talk about anything political and to also not talk about any world events happening, which are upsetting. This blog is my escape from real life. So, I want to continue on that path. But I'm making an exception this time because based on the DMs an Anon Asks I'm getting there is some confusion as to why Sam posted this message on his social media. I just want to give people some clarity on it. And them move on. So, Sam posted this. 👇
It was in response to Sam and other mostly UK celebrities signing an open letter asking Israel to cease fire on Gaza, and explicitly claiming Pro-Palestine sentiments. If you click below, you will find an article on it and then keep scrolling down and you can read the actual letter. That's the letter Sam signed. A few days later, he clarified his feelings and regretted signing it because it doesn't represent fully what he meant. 👇
Here's the thing the history of Israel/Palestine is LONG and COMPLICATED. And most people haven't done enough research to know it fully. Most people go by sound bytes they see as they scroll social media. Or they give in to confirmation bias based on their political party, nationality, ethnicity, religion, affiliations etc.
I'm not going to get into the specifics because all of the information is easily accessible if anyone TAKES THE TIME TO RESEARCH AND READ THE HISTORY, both of Israel and Palestine...with an OPEN MIND.
The reason Sam got himself in trouble with signing the open letter and then the subsequent damage control message is that he didn't take the time to do his research. In extremely simplistic terms: Most of the UK, and in fact, most of Europe has traditionally been Pro-Palestine (except for European Jews, of course). The U.S. has traditionally been Pro-Israel and are allies. Up until recently that is. Due to the divisiveness in the US since the Trump era, Conservatives (Republicans) in the country became even more Pro-Israel, which then meant Liberals (Democrats) had to be the opposite. The rhetoric that Israel was the oppressor and Palestine was the oppressed grew louder. You had to pick one or the other. You couldn't take a step back and look at the history of the Jews being oppressed pretty much since Moses kept trying to get back to The Promised Land aka modern day Israel and Palestine. Or the Palestinians also being oppressed and their lands shrinking year by year.
The Jews have always been fucked over throughout history. And the Palestinians have always been fucked over, but especially since 1948 when modern day Israel was created. So, then, TERROR GROUP, Hamas decides, we're gonna fuck you over, Israel, REALLY BADLY, and engaged in some of the worst atrocities in recent times. No matter what anyone's beliefs are, when you saw what Hamas did (I'm not going to write the details because it's a horror show we all already know about) EVERYONE in the world should have said "Not today, Satan, not today," and DENOUNCED their savagery.
Hamas is NOT the Palestinian people, Hamas' ONLY goal is to terrorize and destroy. First the Jews, then their allies. Look up in the sky if you're in the US, one day a missile will be coming your way if they aren't stopped. After Hamas committed their savagery, Israel, understandably attacked back. They defended themselves from TERRORISTS trying to literally annihilate them. That was NOT the time to chant Free Palestine or write Free Palestine open letters. Just like after the murder of George Floyd, the Black Lives Matter movement came to the forefront in the US, but you had people countering "All Lives Matter!" Yes, all lives matter, but RIGHT NOW we're focusing on Black Lives, ya dopes. Breast Cancer awareness month. But what about Lung Cancer, Colon Cancer, they're important too?! Yes, but JFC, FOCUS people. Should Palestine be free from Israeli occupation, should they have more land? OF COURSE. But when the world SAW what Hamas did to HUMAN BEINGS, regardless of nationality or religion, the ONLY thing that should have been chanted is "DESTROY HAMAS." Hamas fucked things up for Palestinians, not just Israelis. And because of Hamas' actions, now Palestine is getting destroyed by Israel. And then Hamas will counter attack. And it will go on and on. There should be NO sides. There should only be ONE side, the HUMAN side.
So, when celebs seemingly "pick" a side, especially without considering the repercussions, they will get pushback. I love Sam and he's a good man, but he missed the mark on this one. Not through malice, but rather, naivete and ignorance. By cosigning that letter he didn't realize he wasn't simply signing a Pro-Palestine letter, he was simultaneously signing an Anti-Israel letter, Anti-Jews letter. And the reality is he alienated his Jewish fans, his more US conservative fans, his more centrist fans, assorted other fans...and I'm just going to state facts...he forgot WHO runs Hollywood, has always run Hollywood, and will always run Hollywood, including people who run Starz, as well as WHO are some of his agents, and publicists, hence the "better late than never" damage control quasi apology.
If you're wondering about MY stance: I feel badly for the Palestinian people and I feel badly for the Israeli people. There, that wasn't so hard to say, right? You CAN be Pro-Palestine AND Pro-Israel aka Pro-Humans. In the end, ALL HUMANS want the SAME basic things: food, clean water, shelter, safety and peace for their loved ones. To pick sides is to say that one set of people is more important than the other. And that can't be true. It isn't true. I pick the Human Side. Simple as that.
*big long sigh* Okay, peeps, you can leave comments, but I'm not going to answer them because I'm TIRED now. Also any hate comments, antiSemitic or antiPalestineMuslim comments and they will be deleted, and you will be blocked.
I'll check in later today. And then I'll be off until Sunday evening. Of course, still feel free to DM me and send Asks. I'll answer when I can.
Peace, people, PEACE.

I’m so sorry to ask you to do this, but you seem to have a relatively big platform on here. If you’re comfortable doing so, please urge your followers to research the Ben Gurion Canal Project. It is a canal that would connect the Red Sea to the Mediterranean and would be a 3rd longer than the Suez Canal, it’s one of the reasons why the US and the rest of the west is so adamant on eradicating Palestinians.
This is a map of Egypt, Sinai Peninsula, and Palestine. What is happening right now is the mass genocide of the Palestinian people in the Gaza strip and other mass murders in the West Bank. Israel wants to push all the men, women, and children they didn't murder from Gaza into the Sinai Peninsula which is a desert. They want complete control of Gaza, look at how small Gaza is, look at how small. There have been the equivalent of Hiroshima levels of bombs dropped into a place that is barely a few miles long. Palestine is NOT BIG, and Gaza isn't a country it's a part of Palestine, its a city.
I posting these to show the difference, I won't post all the gore and death pictures of the victims, people can look that up for themselves.
Gaza houses millions of Palestinians, many of whom are refuges from the 1948 Nakba, where their homes and lands in the north, south, and center of Palestine were destroyed or stolen by Israeli Settlers. Despite that they have a beautiful city, they built their lives there, through all the wars Israel waged on the Palestinian people they built beauty. This isn't the first time Gaza is being bombed. Gaza has been an open air concentration camp for 16 years, the people inside cannot leave, no one who isn't cleared by the Israeli Military can enter. They have cut off the people of Gaza from the rest of the world for years. No amount of peaceful protest by the people of Palestine asking Israel to take down the wall, to let them have rights, to let them return to their homes, to visit any other part of their country has worked. They murdered the peaceful protestors. This time though they don't want to just make war on Palestine, or drop the annual bombs, they want to eradicate the people of Palestine in Gaza. They are leveling this place to rubble. They have bombed grocery stories, schools, bakeries, universities, churches, mosques, hospitals, cancer centers, more hospitals, they have murdered over 10,000 people in one month, UN workers, Doctors, Journalists, civilians, babies, children, women, men, the elderly, the queers, the Christians, the Muslims, everyone, even the Israeli hostages they keep screaming about, 60 of them have been murdered by Israel themselves. Every form of life they can find they kill. They have cut off all aid. They have cut off all water. They have cut off or destroyed any sources of food. Even before this they have ships in the sea to stop fishermen from fishing too far out. They saw the starving people of Gaza fishing for food in this ongoing massacre, they bombed the boats. This is a genocide. They have been very open about how this is a genocide, there is no confusion here this is the deliberate genocide of the Palestinians. Israel has the support of America. Israel and America will not do a ceasefire. This is very deliberate. Why? The land is so small, they already have almost all of the other land, so why? Besides hating all Palestinians, besides that, why?
Gaza has oil/gas, the resource belongs to the Palestinian people. Israel has already made contracts for companies to come mine the resources. They don't have that right. It belongs to Gaza. Palestine has been slowly suffocating under the Israeli Occupation for 75 years, no human rights, no way for the economy to make money, no self determination, olive trees are burned, farmers land have been stolen, Israel pushes their own products for sale, everything is controlled by Israel. This resource would have brought in money to the Palestinian Economy, it could have lead to more jobs for people. They wouldn't have to rely on trying to get work visas to work in the occupied territories.
But the biggest reason? The Ben Gurion Canal Project.
We all know the Suez Canal, how could anyone on tumblr forget the Ever Given and the Suez Canal?
The Suez Canal brings in over 9 million dollars yearly to Egypt. Egypt controls the canal. Western Powers, America, UK, etc. don't like that. Israel wants to cut Palestine, they want to tear into its earth, they want to rip a scar down Palestine to make Ben Gurion Canal. If they did this, then they would control the canal, and all those millions of dollars would go right back to Israel and America and their allies. All that money made from the blood of innocent people. Built on the destruction of stolen land. Paid for with the lives of Palestinians. This is why Israel is will not stop murdering people. This is why America gave them the green light to murder as much people as they want. This is why they do not care about the history, bombed old historical buildings like the 3rd oldest church in the history of the world. This is why they do not care about a single Palestinian life.
It's not about religion, it's not about "arab terrorism", it's not about any of the lies that they tell. This is about leveling Gaza to dust so they can build their canal and bring more death and more control over neighboring countries and controlling resources in the middle east.
If you want to learn more about Palestine then follow @palipunk who has great resources, there are lots of books, and information out there just ready to teach people about who we are and why we fight so hard to survive. We deserve to live free on our land. Don't just listen to lies the Western and Israeli media tells everyone, do your own research and share if you all can.
Palestine is small. It's a country that wants to be free, from the British, from America, from Israel. Palestine has been fighting for so long to be free, all the people want is to live on their land, to grow their olive trees, to fish in the sea, to create, to love, to be able to visit each other without walls or soldiers controlling us, to pray, to share in humanity, to be respected and seen as humans. Palestine is old and small and beautiful. Palestine is made up of so many beautiful people and religions, we have such a rich culture and history, we love to sing, we love to dance, and write poetry, and tell stories, and cook, we love to learn, did you know we have the highest literacy rate per population? We love each other, we love the world. Palestine is our hearts, they are killing our hearts.

saw a prominent israeli user on here say that Hamas wants to create a totalitarian government and that whether or not you support palestine you still shouldn't support hamas and I really wanna talk about that.
I'm jewish. I have Israeli and Palestinian relatives. I have arab and jewish friends from all over the various diasporas and I know black and indigenous people who have spoken from their community's experiences with these things. I'm not speaking out of my ass here.
It. Does. Not. Matter. What. Hamas's. End. Goal. Is.
There is no excuse in any way, shape, or form for the subjugation and oppression the Palestinian people are facing. Yes, Jews have our history in the Levant. Many of us never left. The Palestinians ALSO never left. Many young men are joining Hamas because it's the only militarized organization that will let them at least TRY and fight back. Palestinians are scared people and they have the choice to either lay down and die, or at least try and fight to let their families survive.
I don't really care how you feel about Hamas in the face of a genocide. I don't. Israel could have at any point sinply funded a proper government for Palestine that wasnt left over from the Ottoman/Arab war, but they didnt. Israelis want to get on here and talk about totalitarianism when their government just shot a missile at Israelis who were protesting the war. The only reason Israel hasn't simply solved the problem by funding a Palestinian government and healthcare is because they are ALSO A TOTALITARIAN GOVERNMENT.
Yes, Hamas should have never taken Israeli hostages or killed anyone. This is unforgiveable. However, I want you to guess how many Palestinian hostages Israel has taken in the last fifteen years. How many were released on the ceasefire? Not even half. Israel also shot released (two of whom were brown) Israeli hostages because they decided that they were Palestinians.
Israel has milled more innocent Palestinians in the past month than Hamas did with the October 7th attack. This is not about stopping Hamas. This was an excuse to kill Palestine. This does not mean Israeli citizens are at fault, or that Jews have done anything wrong. This also does not mean that Hamas should govern if they win this war. What it does mean is that the Israeli government does not care about anyone but itself and is inherently corrupt. It means that Hamas is not relevant to the conversations surrounding the war efforts anymore, because the citizens of Palestine are the only ones getting targeted. It means that the exile is not over and that if we ever eant to truly return to Israel that amends must ve made with Palestinians.
Anyways, if you're looking to support Palestinian families and queer people trying to escape war, and you'd like proof that your money is Actually doing something, please go to Rain Dove's page on Instagram. They are a queer model and activist who is currently in Gaza helping families escape. They went to Ukraine as well to help refugees, and I've been following them for years. They are living proof that Gazans are not a threat to the queer community as well as proof that there is a genocide happening right now.

Read a very beautiful post by a jewish person living in or around the Gaza/Israel border. They really, truly, had me in the first part. It was not aimed with hate towards any of the parties and for a while I wondered where it was heading.
But then it came to a precipice. And the author chose to make their arguments positive toward Israel. To their credit, they did in fact credit them - the only problem was that the sources came from wikipedia and NYT - sources that, in this current conflict, cannot be trusted considered the information we have seen with our own eyes.
The author was right about the conflict not needing to be a division between jewish people and muslim people. It doesn't have to be.
It shouldn't be.
And for a lot of us, it isn't.
For most of us, it isn't about Hamas vs Israel. It isn't about Judaism vs Islam. It's about humanity.
And no matter from what angle you look at it currently, there is nothing, not within international law, common law or even humanity, that can justify what is currently happening.
I fathom that some people may think that what is happening in Gaza currently is not Israel's fault, but instead Hamas'.
"Hamas are the ones blocking aid, food, sources, not Israel."
"Gaza is at war because they chose Hamas and Hamas is in control of everything that is happening."
But that is simply not the truth.
I urge you to trust not Wikipedia, but the United Nations, for your sources in the future.
Please.
We, the people of the world, the people that you have willfully and woefully ignored, the people who have been labelled as hateful and anti-semitic for fighting for human rights, urge you to see the bigger picture.
The people who march, and boycott, and scream from the rooftops - we urge you to consider that what you see on the news may in fact not be the entire truth. We urge you to look it up - in a deeper, more thorough sense, than what you get from your usual, immediate sources. We urge you to watch real, raw footage sent live from Gaza. We urge you to listen to international law, to lawmen and lawwomen whose entire livelihood and jobs are based upon judging this exact matter.
We urge you to listen when those people tell you what the truth is. It should no longer be a question.
For the rest of the world, it is no longer a question.

Hi. I know things can tend to get lost so I wanted to make one big post for any of my followers to see.
If you enjoy any of the stuff I put on here or any of my works on ao3 and want to see more of it in the future, the best way to support me is to follow what is happening in Palestine right now.
For those who don't know, the country of Palestine is the area between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea that was colonized by Great Britain and Zionist armies after World War II (though it started in the 19th century). After Palestine was taken over by Zionists, the country was renamed Israel and Palestinians were pushed out of their homes in a ethnic cleansing called the Nakba. Since then, the areas that were designated for Palestinians (the Gaza Strip and the West Bank) have continued to shrink.
The Gaza Strip, a piece of land that is only 141 square miles, holds 2 millions Palestinian people. It is often called "the world's largest open-air prison" because Palestinians living there are not allowed to leave or move about freely, the water, food, and electricity is all controlled by the Israeli government, and the Israeli Defense Force (IDF) regularly arrests, injures, and murders civilians there.
On October 7th, 2023, a radical group known as Hamas attacked the boundary between Gaza and Israel, killing over 1000 people. In response, Israel has launched a full-scale assault. In the last 13 days, Israel has launched over 600 bombs and killed 4000 people, more than 1000 of them being children. This is all sanctioned by the 3 billion USD the United States pays Israel every year and their refusal to call for humanitarian aid to the people of Gaza.
There is a genocide happening and my government is complicit in it. Chances are your government is, too.
If you want to learn more from people far more educated than I, please go to this website run by Palestinian people. If you wish to help, please go to this public toolkit. And don't stop there: do your own research, look at other people's resources, because I promise there's a whole lot more than can be fit into one post.
Please don't look away from what is happening. If the worst does happen, the least we can do is remember the people who died for something they believed in, the children who never knew anything different, the once thriving culture that was decimated because of racism and Islamophobia.
Thank you for reading and Free Palestine 🇵🇸

This stinks to high heaven, or Jannah, or Valhalla, or whatever makes you happy
My big sister is gay. I was the first person she came out to when we were kids, not quite 20 yet. I care deeply about her. And as I matured + unlearned much of my ingrained adolescent homophobia, with my sister’s help, I have come to care deeply about the LGBTQ community. Even the white ones, and all the other non-Black ones too
I’m trying really hard to imagine hearing about something like the Pulse nightclub shooting and somehow not caring about some of the non-Black victims because they might not have shared my exact political beliefs. I can’t. I can’t imagine not caring. Not caring because of something so trivial by comparison of being murdered by a crazy person in cold blood.
Look, I guess at some point either you care about people or you don’t. And if you’re able to turn off who you feel sorrow for based on their race, religion or ideology, then I don’t know what to tell you. I don’t know how to relate to you.
I’ve been trying not to post too TOO much about some specifics of what’s happening in Palestine and Israel, but I’m sorry: I feel bad for the innocent children and civilians who were murdered in cold blood in Israel. I know that the “any means” tankies crowd wants everyone to ignore their deaths (or worse celebrate their deaths), but I guess I’m not built that way.
Some of those people murdered at the concert, for example, were not only innocent civilians, but they were also pro-Palestinian activists who spent their time working for peace. I shed tears hearing their family members talking about them. Hamas murdered Holocaust survivors, ffs.
I absolutely can understand Jewish people feeling uneasy right now. They lost a ton of noncombatant civilians —not to mention children. And oh yeah, antisemitism has been at an all time high, unfortunately, just like Islamophobia is about to be. Again.
I might be wrong, but I honestly just do not think that Hamas did Palestinians any favors.
Yes, yes, I dO understand that violence is always a necessary part of freedom and decolonization.
“Nobody in the world, nobody in history, has ever gotten their freedom by appealing to the moral sense of the people who were oppressing them.” —Assata Shakur
So I’m a big podcast listener (helps occupy my mind whenever I’m working on long tedious projects), and I was listening to one where they interviewed a Jewish soldier who was recently activated, but he was out of Israel and had to fly back. He said something like, “If they had only attacked military targets, then I would get it. We got caught with our pants down, and all is fair in love and war, right? But the mass slaughter of civilian families, women and children is the reason I’m going back.”
I wanted to reach through my phone and ask him about Israel preparing to do exactly the same thing to Palestinians in retaliation, but alas I guess I just sounded like a crazy person yelling to himself in my office.
And yeah, before you read too much further, please understand that I dO support the fuck outta Palestine. Let me be unequivocal here: Israel is in the wrong. Israel has oppressed Palestinians for decades. For actual generations.
Remember when Israel literally bulldozed over a woman to build more houses in Gaza?
Yeah, seriously heinous shit, right?
And we don’t actually have a solid count for all the innocent murdered Palestinian civilians who were living in apartment buildings that Israel has been bombing to smithereens for the past few days. I understand that Israel and the West would have us believe that everyone in Gaza is a terrorist and nobody is an innocent civilian, but hopefully, if you’re reading this, YOU know better than that.
But that said ….. I cannot get with tankies—who, safe and sound in their homes, not being perpetually bombed—want to sound “hard” on social media, and make no distinctions with the people who were just minding their own fucking business at a goddamn concert. I think about all of the mass shootings in America (movie theaters, grocery stores, night clubs, concerts, schools, office buildings, etc) and I just cannot imagine justifying or excusing ANY of them because of the shooter’s “ideology.” I know it’s not an apples-to-apples comparison, but it’s close enough.
“If they were on colonized land then they deserved to die” is one hell of a fucked up take. The slippery slope is that if any of our loved ones are gunned down by “freedom fighters,” then we should just be happy for “the cause” and not shed any tears, because ALL of us deserve to die in America and other Western countries, because we’re all living on colonized land.
I cannot even begin to explain how flawed and fucked up that so-called reasoning is.
You have to have some fucking lines and boundaries.
We don’t just do a shoulder shrug when children are murdered in cold blood—and no, I’m not talking about the 40 babies allegedly beheaded, I’m just talking about the little toddlers who were shot through walls and died, and the elderly and disabled who were shown being dragged away. Yeah, I feel sorry for them too. And I won’t apologize for that.
Rape is wrong. All the time. Under all circumstances. Even when it’s happening to people who you don’t like.
Murdering children is wrong. All the time. Under all circumstances. Even when it’s the children of people who you don’t like.
Do I really need to spell this shit out? JFC.
If you don’t care about any of this because you’re “down for the cause,” then you. are. lost. Like really and truly lost. You aren’t a radical. You’re a fanatic. And hopefully you won’t be in a position to ever receive the fanatical Karma that you’re asking for.
Anyway…
I am on the side of Palestine in all of this. They never deserved to be oppressed by Israel or anyone.
Innocent Palestinian women and children are dying as you’re reading this. I’m shedding tears for them too. They’ve been going through this for way too long. That fact alone is beyond being a tragedy.
Palestine has already suffered and will suffer 10 times more than all of the civilians and noncombatants who were tragically murdered in Kfar Aza.
As always, my usual reminders:
The Holocaust happened
Antisemitism is real
Hamas ≠ Palestine
Israel is an apartheid state
Collective punishment is a war crime
Benjamin Netanyahu is a war criminal
You can support Palestine without being antisemitic

Reminder that if you're pro-israel block me. Dni. Or even if you are remaining neutral!!!!!! 🇵🇸
There is a genocide still ongoing! Read this post before interacting with my page as it's important.
__________________________________________
And no. By supporting Palestine I don't mean supporting Hamas.
I mean supporting the civilians who have been bombed, killed, and displaced by Israeli attacks. The innocents who are being slaughtered. Those who are the victims in this horrific genocide.
___________________________________________
Block me if you remain neutral. I just can't fathom how anyone can remain on the fence after hearing about the one-sided onslaught in Gaza. Stand with Palestine or stay away from my page as you are not welcomed here. Please, if you don't know alot about the situation that well- ATTEMPT to educate yourself! It is not an excuse to remain neutral due to not knowing the extent of the situation. The resources are readily available.
Sorry if this sounds blunt, my intentions are just in support of spreading awareness for Palestine.
_____________________________________________
here is a link to a useful masterpost of ways you can educate yourself about Palestine and support them.
Please take a look.
While most of us sit privileged and comfortable there is a GENOCIDE ONGOING. This is not meant to be rude or come across as aggressive. it is just a fact. Alot of people (including myself) will probably (and hopefully) never have to firsthand experience such horrors that Palestinians are going through. the fact that innocent people, including innocent CHILDREN AND INFANTS are suffering in such unimaginable ways is vile. it's heartbreaking how cruel the situation is.
I am forever grateful that I am not in such a horrible situation and it's so important that we never take it for granted, so please, all of us can contribute in some way shape or form, no matter how small it may seem. Every contribution helps. Even if it's supporting in free ways without donating.
_________________________________________
Remember to DO YOUR CLICK EVERYDAY. IT TAKES A SECOND AND IT IS FREE.
-i understand some people can't donate. But there is no reason not to take a moment to CLICK A BUTTON everyday. Everything adds up and helps.
even if you don't, just remember to engage with any pro-palestine posts you come across in your feed. Please, spread awareness no matter how you do it. Educate yourself and others on what's happening in the world and about the conflict if you are able to.
_____________________________________________
Yes I am aware I'm a ST blog, a show of which has Zionist cast members- I would like to make it clear now that I do NOT align myself with such vulgar and cruel views and neither should you!! I have no respect for Brett Gelman, Noah Schnapp or ANY other Zionists. I pirate any content I wish to watch from big streaming sites and I will not be streaming ST5 on Netflix or funding a subscription that will benefit Zionists. I won't shame anyone for doing otherwise but I advise people to look into alternative ways of seeing content... especially content of which could POTENTIALLY fund Zionists!!!
____________________________________________
That's all, thank you- please remember to stand with and support Palestine 🇵🇸🇵🇸.

Can I ask why you dont like her? (Brittany)
(Please ignore this if you dont feel comfortable)
this is my opinion, my views and if you dont like it, you can happily leave :) It's long...I know
I just sent this exact reason to a friend so I’m copying and pasting what I texted her but with more context
Alr here it goes, to me she’s become a hypocrite. Sometime ago she had said that people should talk about any cause that deserves attention. (BLM or what is happening in Palestine for example) When she was asked to speak about what is happening in Palestine, she made a comment on her close friends that left me annoyed with her. It annoyed me bc I was such a huge fan of her and the way she said that her voice as a white woman wouldn’t matter to the conversation of Gaza made me mad. Just educating someone about something as tragic as what is happening is so important, she has a huge platform and her voice could reach more people, it can help. She can't claim to be an activist when she picks what she can and can't talk about, white privilege shit. She set the standard for herself, this is not me just hating. She said she cares about what is happening but associated with people like that Ethan guy from the H3 podcast, he's a zionist! It's so sad to know that someone I supported is just putting an act, she's performing for us and her so called activism.
She always says that how dare we or anyone that has a platform for that matter, stay silent or not use our platforms to speak about what is happening, the injustice that we see or that others are going through. I'm not making it up. She cries and rants on camera about human rights, she preaches about this but doesn't say shit when we need her to speak up? be for real girl
I know you or others could be fans of her and hate me for my opinions but know this; If a man would stay silent during women's suffrage, like in America with abortion getting banned, would we not be mad at him? would we understand that he isn't qualified because he is a man? we as women would be mad, upset and disappointed that he didn't back us up, so why let her stay silent? a man doesn't know shit about women's reproductive health, and maybe she doesn't know much about what is happening to Palestinians, but why are we allowing her to just sit back and not speak up about this?
The war doesn't affect her but it affects people who are her fans, strangers, children, mothers, fathers and the future of that country, so why stay silent?
Maybe to her or any person who doesn't go through social injustice doesn't see the importance in this. But the next time you see a father or mother carry their dead child, the one that should've seen more of life, think about those who stayed silent and didn't make this a bigger deal, that because of them, we can't do much because our voices are smaller compared to theirs.
On another note, she, to me is the kind of person to speak nicely to you but hate you to others. The Tana and Brittany thing, I get it, tana is controversial but so is that Ethan guy and that other Theo dude. She keeps appearances when it comes to sitting down and talking with other women who yes, tana is an ableist and all but look at those two other men. Ethan, a zionist, Theo a misogynist. The only reason why she posted on her TikTok about the whole Palestine thing, which I'm sure she wasn't happy about, is because someone recorded her close friends and people saw it, got mad at her and she had to backpedal like Watcher. (their shit isn't as serious as her imo)
Hate me all you want but don't you dare say I'm not a girls girl. I am but I also don't support women or men who are hypocrites.
Remember she said this when she was asked to speak about the genocide, "It's dystopian that I have to speak on this", yeah...no thank you girl
I'll end my rant with this, "If you have a platform, and you have people's ear, you have their attention, how dare you not speak about the things that matter." Brittany Broski
