Where do i begin?

So heres the thing, I watched TPOT 12 then took a shower right after. While taking said shower i took a moment to think about everything that went down. And thought of the wildest theory ever..

LETS START FROM THE BEGINNING,

One and Three, right?

These two fellas have FINALLY appeared after 15 years! Why is that?

Here is the scene when X found out their value: 7!

Four, Seven, and X are celebrating and generally very happy. Who isnt happy?

Three and one.

Theyre clearly angered by this whole situation, but why? Who are they angry at?

Theres three possible options:

1. Seven. But that wouldnt make sense, huh? Basically every algebralien has SOME sort of grudge held against him, so its nothing new. Scratch that!

2. Four. Its possible, four has done alot of things. But thats not who im personally going to focus on. Well, partially at least.

That leaves one more person!

3. X. But why them?

"Theyre just a little silly dude, they did nothing wrong!" And youre right. Thats exactly why theyre a target.

• THREE AND ONE'S CAPYIVITY

Youre probably wondering, why am i focusing on X, and not four? Four is more of a suspect, after all.

Think about it this way,

Three is trapped in a prison inside of Four's school, so four put him there! (They are the only one with control over that place anyway.)

One is trapped inside of the moon. There isnt really any solid proof to prove my theory with this one, but she came out during TPOT. She clearly had the ability to escape and didnt seem tired out and/or surprised that she finally left her prison. One actually seems happy and collected, even going as far as "greeting everyone" once she's out. She chose to come out at this time, just like how she chose to mess with Two's show.

One also confirmed that shes an "old friend of Two's." If One is suddenly against Two after all the years of them knowing each other, Two clearly did something to her.

• MUTUAL CONNECTIONS

And youre STILL probably wondering, "Chim! You still didnt explain what X has to do with all of this!"

Four and Two hate eachother, this hatred being caused by Two when they stole more than HALF of the bfb cast.

(They seem to not be familiar with eachother when they "first" meet. Im not exactly sure why here HELP.)

But anyway!

Who does Four have a good friendship with? X!

Who does Two have a good friendship with? Also X!

X is what keeps them sane around eachother, the only main reason why they stick around.

If anything bad were to happen to X, Four and Two clearly have the power and ability to get back at whatever or WHOever caused this harm.

One and Three did something to X, and it resulted in Two and Four snapping.

• THREE'S PERSONALITY

Three has basically ZERO information on himself, we know nothing about the guy. But what we do know, is that hes agressive.

In the Number Playground Chronicles, we get an article that explains an event that takes place, Three being apart of it. The article reads:

"FOAMING THREE INTEGER"

The horrible, tragic incident happened at 10:13 AM. Three Integer became Upset.

Three Integer at 10:16, Angry.

Three Integer at 10:31, Furious.

Three Integer at 10:24, and "Foaming."

Three Integer at 10:39, when he started to produce smoke.

(Five)Integer picked up the ball at 6:17 PM."

This event did truly happen, we can see the beginning of it play out in the first few seconds of XFOHV:

Three was so angry and REFUSED to even touch the ball. Five had to go pick it up themself HOURS after the incident.

Three also WILLINGLY closed the cell door after it was opened. He couldve escaped, yet he didnt. I have two possible reasons for this:

1. He's afraid of Four catching him, so he followed orders and stayed put.

2. Three's gone insane after a decade and a half of being all alone, to the point that he WANTS to stay inside.

• ONE'S MOTIVES

One seems like a friendly character, shes smiling in basically the ENTIRETY of her screentime, (minus the part when she conversed with Fanny.)

But something about her smile isnt right, its almost disturbing. The way she grins in the oddest situations,

She is seen with a list during the post-credits scene, with four names on it that are all crossed out, meaning they are "completed."

□ Bell.

□ Bomby.

□ Fanny.

□ Ice Cube.

Notice how all four of these contestants were in some sort of distress during that moment, and One helped them out! In exchange for a "favor."

1. She helped Bell escape elimination by removing her string (something that annoyed Bell constantly due to contestants activley climbing it.) And hiding her.

2. She helped Bomby escape elimination by hiding him.

3. She gave Fanny a new mouth, discarding the need to spend hours at a time searching for it in the ocean.

4. She gave Ice Cube a new pair of legs, allowing her to walk again.

What exactly does One need these favors for? Revenge against Two, of course!

● ONE AND TWO'S FRIENDSHIP

Theres a popular theory stating that Two was kicked out of the equation playground, this would clear up the confusion as to why they basically NEVER appear in the subscriber specials.

Maybe this is because Two hates math! They said it to Gaty in one of the episodes.

I also believe that One was also kicked out. Why, you may ask?

Take a look at this scene in the beginning of TPOT 11:

One's picture was hidden underneath Seven's. As if nobody(COUGH COUGH. Espcially four) wanted her to be mentioned so they simply hid her.

Maybe this is how One and Two became friends, two rejects.

● RANDOM THINGS THAT GET THEIR OWN SECTION CAUSE IDK WHERE ELSE TO PUT THEM

1. How the HELL did One get a mouth and... legs?

2. Judging by One's little room, she probably really likes space and astronomy, maybe thats way the moon was where she was sent.

3. Kinda freaky to think that One was there in the moon the ENTIRE time. Throughout every single episode of the series from BFDI 1A to TPOT9, and we never knew.

was writing this at work so apologies if it doesnt make much sense

started wondering abt dany’s nissa nissa, if it was drogo or rhaego or herself. this also got me thinking abt the azor ahai prophecy and how he attempted to forge lightbringer three times. we know the first time is when dany puts an egg in her brazier, and we know the third time is when the eggs hatch. but what was the second?

the nissa nissa to dany’s azor ahai (imo) is another example of the theme of three — specifically two “failures” and one success, w two of the failes nissa nissa’s being drogo + rhaego. and it didnt make much sense to me at first why that was such a simple and immediate answer, bc dany didnt sacrifice rhaego and, even if she did unintentionally, rhaego was sacrificed for drogo— not the dragons right?? but i think he WAS sacrificed for the dragons— in an instinctual and not quite correct way.

dany believes at the beginning of agot that viserys is the last dragon. but then he dies. so who’s left? she doesnt accept that its her— bc shes just a woman. her only role is wife + mother— not a woman unto herself. and as a woman, anything that is hers is her husbands. *drogo* is aegon the dragonlord come again, not dany.

dany believes drogo + rhaego r the key to bringing back dragons, that they r the ones who r “the last dragons” that they r the ones who will conquer + rule + be the stallion that mounts the world.

and she also, i think in her naivety and mistaken interpretation of her dragon dreams, believes that the Dragon that’s being awoken is a person— a targaryen. bc thats whats been taught to her, waking the dragon meant waking Viserys’ rage, meant conquering Westeros + bringing back the utopian dynasty that viserys proposed to her in her childhood.

perhaps, if she goes along w mmz’s plan to save drogo, *something* will happen that will explain to her what to do, something will happen that leads to Waking the Dragon and going back home— which she needs drogo for. plus she doesnt want to lose her husband, the only person on her side + the only person who could grant her the power to save ppl in situations similiar to her own. (the scene where dany tries to save a bunch of women from being raped and then murdered by claiming them as her own— if she wasnt khaleesi, she wouldnt be able to claim anything, if she wasnt khaleesi, she wouldve been one of them)

dany is going off of instincts and her dragon dreams w magic— its not surprising that she didnt anticipate that rhaego was going to be sacrificed. but i think the reason she questions whether or not she knew rhaego was going to die, and why rhaego is dany’s 2nd nissa nissa, is bc she does sacrifice rhaego, completely unknowingly but rh’llor and her magic pushing her towards a sacrifice, and her heart telling her to save the one person who cares for her.

but when she wakes up, with rhaego gone, and drogo hanging on by a thread, she learns that magic is more complicated than that. mmz teaches her that death and life meaning nothing on their own, blood is worthless without the power to use it. and she’s the only person who can take on that power now, the power to wake the dragon, especially bc mmz tells her she can no longer have children.

rhaego becomes daenerys’ first nissa nissa, a failed attempt to bring back the dragons. she didnt intentionally sacrifice rhaego, but he was sacrificed nonetheless. and the price for drogo’s life was paid already, as dany points out. mmz cheated dany, and her ultimate goal in sacrificing rhaego wasn’t to bring back drogo, but to kill the future stallion that mounts the world. rhaego’s sacrifice was “no gods work”— not a part of the spell. it was just mmz.

and she puts together the story we’ve been following— her first attempt to birth the dragons, putting the eggs in a fire, didnt work. bc of this, she thinks the eggs r truly dead, the dragons r gone, all thats left r the targs who she thinks is the Dragon her visions r calling her to awaken. the brazier wasnt hot enough, dany realizes later, after drogos death + when the pyre is burning. (also notice the great white lion skin is given to dany directly after her first attempt. similiar to azor ahai plunging the sword into the heart of a lion)

her second attempt to rebirth the dragons is sacrificing rhaego. not intentionally— but she was following her gut instincts and what her heart wanted. notice how after rhaego’s death she immediately asks for the eggs, almost like she anticipated something changing. like she anticipated them hatching. this fails because it was an unwilling sacrifice (all parties were unwilling. drogo was unaware, dany believed she was saving drogo, and rhaego was unaware bc hes a fetus lmao). also azor ahai plunged his failed lightbringer into water— which i thought could be connected to the water of dany’s womb? ik thats a stretch but figured id put it in there anyway lol

rhaego thus becomes dany’s first failed nissa nissa. this is only further re-enforced by dany’s dragon dream, where rhaego’s heart bursts into flames.

drogo’s death comes later, at daenerys’ own hand. just like how nissa nissa was killed by azor ahai. his death does not coincide with an attempt to hatch the dragons— but magic isnt exact, and it doesnt follow an exact recipe: as grrm has stated. his body, however, is sacrificed on the third attempt. dany places drogon’s egg next to drogo’s *heart* once again calling upon the imagery of a burning heart. for drogo’s egg to hatch, the fire must have reached drogo’s heart.

so on her third attempt, she puts together all of the pieces. a fire, three sacrifices, and a willing sacrifice. so she sacrifices herself, willfully, literally skipping into the fire.

and then, on the third attempt, and the only successful attempt, dany herself takes on the role of nissa nissa and willfully sacrifices herself to forge lightbringer— the dragons.

- Luther's jobs were in a bar for so long so it doesnt really made sense on why he was a pole dancer. I feel like after looking less hairy and buffy he would try to socialize more. Maybe hes that one barista who is overly talkative but so done with people. We could see some Karens absulutely wailing at him. And Sloaine. Shes with him. BECAUSE WHERE IS SHE???? But Luther begin a 'dancer' was really funny af sooo

- Diego wouldnt become a mailman thing. He was trying to be a police in the first season and tried to save Kennedy in the second. He would try to be a police again. Yk the Police Academy and all that. The CIA thing was good but if he cant get in the legal way he is getting in another way. You cannot stop him as he was a literal vigilante.

- Allison, Claire and Raymond lives together now! She wouldnt overwork herself, She is finally with her daughter and her husband now. She would work a small but stable job so she can provide and have time for her family. (Keep in mind that Raymond isnt from this timeline so hes still learning about the future) And yes Klaus does visit her time to time so he can babysit Claire, even thought its more like Claire babysitting Klaus.

- Klaus is eighter a psychiatrist or has a 9-5 job while is studying in community Collage. Eighter way he is helping drug addicts, homeless people, LGBT+ people, angsty teenagers in his own way. People know him as a friendly weirdo but they all like him! Hes not doing well financially tho. Güven that he doesnt have a stable job experiance.

-Five working in CIA doesnt make a lot of sense. For all the means he probably swore wouldnt work anything like that at all. He lives in the countryside now. And is a farmer! He tells the other people who lives close to him that he inherited the place by his dead father (haha) and the others learned the hard way to not pity him.. The boy maybe cant travel now but he is sure manically dangerous!

- Ben... Agh Ben. Not sure about him. He is obviously an asshole. But in the season he was more open. He was getting better. He doesnt have a lot relationship with the other siblings so I dont think he wants to hang out with them at all. But I dont think he would be a criminal (minus minor law breakings but who is counting?) Maybe he teaches martial arts? But a really competitive teacher and his students always go to home with bruises. He swears its a part of training. The parents are not amused. His yelp revievs sure is something!

- Victor wouldnt have a thing with every woman come on.. He loves Sissy too much for that. And his relationships never ended good. Him having his own place is nice but he strictly never dates. He adapted to the powerless life better that the others given that he didnt have them for a long time. But he still felt like the little kid who was locked up again time to time. Would be kinda cool if he and Allison bonded over it. (Allison couldnt talk for a year remember?)

- Lila wouldnt be a stay at home mom. She would still be on the 'book club' but her, a stay at home mom??? She has insane abilities in physical power, she would maybe be a coach. And for her AND Diego having three kids bespite begin scared to have one?? Nope those babies are poof! Gone!AND NO SHE DID NOT CHEAT.

You were fast asleep, for the most part at least but you were way too tired to get out of bed and see what Satoru has been doing for the past two hours.

For the past two hours, you've been hearing the clicking and clacking of things, doors being opened and closed every short interval. You were just so thankful you've gained the ability to sleep through whatever chaos satoru causes- he can even ask you nonsensical questions and you're capable of answering him through your slumber.

You wake up an hour later and find the house to be so silent. Eerily silent. You know he's safe or at least alive by sensing his cursed energy. Thinking it's always better to get ready for the day before even thinking of facing your dear husband. Especially now, you know something is up.

"Sato-" Your eyes widen when you see him, your husband, one of the strongest sorcerers of the era on his knees, looking sorry. You expected a prank, a joke, something random but not whatever this is.

Before you could recover from your shock he gets on his one knee, grabbing your hands "I'm so sorry for always annoying you and creating troubles but please don't leave me" he pleads.

"WHAT??? Wait wait- who's leaving you? What is happening?" You question him, bewildered by his strange yet worrisome actions, nose scrunched with your head tilted.

Finally, he decides to explain how he interrogated the sleepy you and asked you all the wrong questions. Of course you said yes when he asked "would you leave me tomorrow when you wake up for always annoying you?" leading to the current scenario.

Though you had the magical ability to sleep through things but there was a major drawback- you would say yes to everything when being questioned.

You sigh as you pull him into your arms "My love, my dear husband of three years please do not worry about my unfortunate habit of saying yes to everything in sleep and me going anywhere." you pause, taking his hand in yours before placing a gentle kiss on the wedding ring while looking at him "i fear I love you too much to even leave you after death" you chuckle.

The rest of your day goes pretty well with him having breakfast with you where he insisted you both feed each other, as according to him, it helps make the couple love each other more. Him cleaning the dishes before settling on the couch which was surrounded by your favorite flowers where you both went through the special, as he called it, the special married couple skincare routine before the both of you painted each other's nails. Ordering the food through online services as you both binged your recent favorite series, intensely discussing the plot.

It was a perfect stay-in date, the one you both desperately needed to recharge from the exhausting lifestyle you both lead.

"soooo.... tomorrow even if you say yes to your most hated food, I shouldn't make it right?" Satoru questioned, his voice laced with mischief.

I HAD COMPLETELY forgotten why i was here, i was supposed to be scavenging.. but i got side tracked by a cluster of ducks off the edge of this pond.

they all looked oddly peaceful, even when walkers were snarling quietly behind the doors of the barricaded houses from when the world went to absolute shit.

my keys dangled loudly from my pant pocket as i crouched down, but i no other place to put them because i lost my bag a while ago, probably nabbed by a walker that was wandering around and i didn't notice.

a duck waddled by my feet slowly, something in its mouth. "whatcha got?" i whispered, the duck looking me straight in the eye before dropping the item on the dewed grass.

i picked it up slowly, inspecting it. i realized after a solid 15 seconds of looking at it that it wasn't anything interesting — just a piece of overly rusted metal.

i shoved it in my back pocket before getting up from my grass mound i had made, and set off to wherever i found solace in for the time being.

a duck quacked behind me loudly, but i ignored it before i heard the crunching of flesh. i turned around hesitantly, a sob slipping between my lips as i saw multiple ducks being torn apart piece by piece — blood spurting everywhere.

i turned around before the walkers could notice i was still there, using all of my strength to climb up one of those tall, darkened trees until they disappeared.

EVEN AFTER SOME time, i was still stuck in that damn tree. why did i even fucking choose to go up here? i knew they wouldnt leave until the sun rose — chasing after it idiotically.

i think i started to doze off before i heard a gunshot ring through my ears — watching the walkers being shot from probably about two or three spots.

i sat up after they all dropped to the ground, my feet swung over the trunk. i guess the people that killed them hadn't realized my presence.

"who are you?" an older man had shouted out, i guess he didn't realize i was a damn kid but, better safe than sorry.

i called out my name before all three of them seemed to relax, the same man who yelled at me had beckoned me to come down.

"you all look rough," i said, crinkling my lip backwards for a second. i never really had a filter — but that didnt seem to affect any of them.

"yeah — we probably do," the woman said. her voice was nice, she sounded kind. well, some people are straight up horrible and they sound sweet as a damn peach tree.

"i'm michonne," the woman said, seeming to grin like she couldnt do anything but.

"i'm carl!" the young boy introduced himself enthusiastically, smiling. why did they all smile so damn big?

"rick," the older man husked out, not smiling. well, finally one with some sanity i guess.

after a few seconds of silence, carl handed me a piece of chocolate that was half melted. "do you like candy? i have more at the house —" he talked with a certain enthusiasm i couldnt reciprocate, especially after watching those ducks being torn apart.

rick interrupted him, "we can't show them the house! what if they have people?" rick whispered, but i heard every word.

"i lost my people 'bout a week ago. mainly just sticking to this neighborhood for now," i spoke up. i didn't want these damn country people to conspire about me.

"dad, let them come to the house!" carl pleaded, "they seem nice, and its already like nighttime now."

okay so i need to put my thoughts somewhere before i forget so uhhh heres a quick theory about what ep 6's adventure might be

(i could be extremely wrong though so glitch if youre seeing this and thinking about how wrong i am: i cannot wait to be proven wrong bc i am hyped for episode 6 either way)

so in the ep 4 trailer we can see this suggestions box, and based on Caine's conversation with Zooble in ep 3, i think all future adventures will be based on requests from the cast. like episode 5 being baseball themed. we saw an unfinished version of the stadium in the s1 teaser, and in ep 4 we can see Ragatha with a baseball. if ep 5 is the baseball episode, it'd make sense if she was the one who put that adventure idea in the suggestions box

so then i think we can safely assume the spudsy's adventure, even if it does seem to be rushed by Caine, might've been suggested by Gangle. why? not sure, im guessing we'll be told that in the episode itself, but if she did, then that means that yes, future adventures will be suggested by the character the episode is about

since episode 5 is the last episode that was teased in the s1 teaser, we have little to no info on episodes 6-9. i think its still a bit too early for me to guess what will happen in the final 3 episodes, but i think based on some other things we've been told i can make a safe guess about ep 6

i think it might be a dance themed episode. which, okay, hear me out, i have some more things i want to share with the class:

ONE: this would not be the first time one of Goose's "wait and see" answers would hint towards a future episode's adventure. back in september, before the s1 teaser released, someone asked her this:

which, as we know, a haunted house adventure DID happen in ep 3

(there was also this one, which if the ep 4 theories about someone being high are to be believed, then this one could also be a hint of something we didnt know about at the time. but take this with a grain of salt because ep 4 isnt out yet at the time of writing this)

TWO: "but why would Jax's episode be the dance one?? he wouldnt suggest something like that!!"

well, yes, he probably wouldnt let anyone else see him suggest something like that for an adventure, but who said you had to sign your name on the suggestions? couldnt he do it anonymously without anyone knowing who suggested it? doesn't seem like he's the kind of person to admit something like that

maybe in the episode, someone figures out it was him (maybe recognising his handwriting, since episode 4 has shown us what the cast's handwriting looks like on their spudsy's nametags), and that's what starts to cause problems. the point of the episode isn't the adventure itself, it's about Jax and his issues

THREE: this is the weakest piece of evidence here but im just thinking like, it kind of makes sense that a dance episode might feature a lot of different outfits. maybe Goose was talking about a later episode, but again, i have 0 ideas on what might be happening in those final 3, so my safest bet is that this was referring to episode 6

the only thing i DONT have an answer for, is why ep 6 would be described as "guns":

unless this post was made before the episode 7/8 split (which resulted in a total of 9 episodes), i have now idea how "guns" fits into this theory. we know thanks to the fandomcon QnA that Jax's weapon of choice would NOT be a gun, and would be revealed in canon to be something else. if Jax isn't the one with the gun, why is episode 6 described that way? i have 0 answers for this, and this one word could be the thing that destroys this already flawed theory lol

WAAUAUGHHGH HELLO FRIENDS ITS UPDATE TIME!!!!!

if you have or havent kept up w my talky posts lately heres a general rundown of all the things + an update! A LOT'S BEEN GOIN ON ALDKJASD

this is the promised more detailed break down of events, so feel free to scroll down to the end to get the TLDR!! <3

i realized thru therapy n talkin to friends/my sisters that my mother is an Abusive Gaslighting Narcissist (thank u therapist i love this title sm) and a whole lotta things in my life started making sense (like why i felt worthless/like a burden! my mom was actively trying to make me feel this way lol!!)

SO i reconnected w my sisters who i hadnt spoken to in ages bc i thought they hated me (guess why lol) and started keeping them updated win all the happenings that were happening! we agreed to keep our reconnection a secret from our mom for now, as it became clear she had tried to keep the three of us apart so she could guilt us separately for money and we wouldnt ask any questions if stories told to one didnt make sense with the other (none of them made sense LOL)

tho i tried to keep it on the dl it was hard to hide the fact that i was now aware abuse was happening, even if i didnt say anything i had p much decided to stop grovelling/begging for love/begging for respect bc i realized my mom was never gonna give me any of that no matter how much money i gave her ( in retrospect it sounds obvious when i put it like that but when youve been living it your whole life its quite a shock! :,o) ) so the lack of grovelling/paying for love started to make my mom quite angry and she started to escalate her abuse bc at this point none of us were giving her any money and she was aware i had money and was refusing to give it (i told her i had to save for one of my kitten's spay surgery, which was true, and the idea that i would use my money for anything other than giving to her made her veeerry angry) suddenly there wasnt enough money for food, not enough money for gas to drive me to work ( a less than 5 min drive vs a nearly 45 minute walk with no sidewalk along a busy road aa), etc u get the idea all the while my mom kept trying to guilt me for more money while always seeming to suddenly have the money when i kindly held my ground and refused to give anything (she kept buying her blonde hair dye, kept getting her car washed, buying JUST enough food for when she was in the house etc) in the end walking all that way was good bc the 5 min car ride was a lot more stressful and i was able to stop and get food on the way during this time i had talked w friends and my sisters about moving out, I REALLY WANTED TO, but no one could house me and my four cats and honestly i dont fault any of them for that, taking on a whole other person is a lot, much less someone w four cats no matter how well behaved they are ^^;

as my mom got angrier she made it clear how much of a burden i was now that i was saving my money, telling me the sooner i move out the better, threatening to call police if i dont leave etc (all very clear bluffs in hopes that id pay up out of fear, she refuses to admit she relies on me to take care of the house and her dogs) until one day i was taking notes on a class on my laptop and she walked in front of me and slammed my laptop shut and started ranting about why should i get to use the water or electricity etc essentially telling me i wouldnt be allowed to shower, take classes or do work until i started giving her all my money

also for those who dont know i wasnt living with her bc im a huge bum that loves mooching off my mom lmao we had an agreement, and she emphatically told me that i didnt need to pay to live there so long as i was working on my career and took care of my cats -> all things i continued to do despite it all lmao shes just very good at making me feel worthless enough that i give her all my money, i have no savings bc of this and didnt even realize why asdkl;jasd

ANYWAY one night she got angry enough that i genuinely felt scared, i had mentioned before that in my teens and early 20s i thought my mom was going to kill me and hadnt felt that way in some years til that night the look in her eyes was so ... dark? like immediately i felt "oh shes going to hurt me" she didnt, she just walked past me and didnt say anything but the look was there. i called both of my sisters the next day and told them that if anything happened to me to not believe our mom if she said it was an accident or that i did smth to myself etc and that 100% she did it and did it on purpose that was enough for my oldest sister who said suddenly during the call "what if i just come get you??" my oldest sister lives in virginia and i lived in ga which is a roughly 8 hour drive so i didnt think she'd really do that, and i reminded her i have 4 cats to which she responded "FUCK MY LANDLORD" LMAO she has a big house and told me theres plenty of room and tho the landlord said no more cats (she already has two and theyre registered as therapy animals) they hardly ever visit and always call first so we can do a quick hide or take the kitties for a ride or smth when they come

im mostly settled in my sister's house now and things are going great!! everyday im realizing just How Bad my mom's house was and it boggles my mind!!! ive never Not lived in an abusive home and finally being out is like!!! Dance lessons, decor planning, seating arrangements, guests, food, guards, flowers, attire fittings and so much more. That was what filled your schedule the past few weeks. The wedding had been delayed by another month due to extreme weather's that had balegan in the region but now preparations were at full swing.

You sat in the women's bathhouses releasing the stress and tension in your shoulders in the steaming hot water. Lyra had been dismissed for the day to attend to family matters leaving you to peruse the places a princess was allowed to be in the kingdom. Meaning no visits to the sea.

Secretly you were hoping to catch a break from it all. The questions like " How do you feel now that you're getting married?" and statements such as "Congratulations,my lady." You were getting tired of seeing prince Cassius attending to your every step and move like a love-struck puppy.

No offence to the man ofcourse , he was lovely. He brought flowers almost all the time he met you. He littered your hand with soft kisses when ever he'd greet. He'd humour you with tales of his upbringing as well as asked to know more about you. He was everything a maiden would dream of. But in your eyes it felt like a farce.

You didn't even know how to explain it. Like that feeling in your body that gives you warning signals about people. Sometimes they were wrong, most times they were right.

You hoped to whatever high power that was out there that you were wrong.

"Fancy seeing you here." Your older sister, Ophelia, broke you out of your thoughts. She was like the carbon copy of your mother. Dutiful, kind, obedient and gorgeous. She deserved the best. Why couldn't she marry Cassius? She is the eldest daughter and is far more graceful than the young woman who sits on precarious rocks just to stare longingly at the ocean.

"I got tired of people stripping me bare to fit me into wedding dresses."

Ophelia held in a laugh," You make it sound like it's torture." She settled into the water, making sure her hair didn't touch the wet surface.

"Picture getting naked infront of a bunch of strangers." You reached out for the small cup of sake you decided to treat yourself with.

She frowned," We are forbidden from drinking."

You downed the cup infront of you and poured yourself another,"Hasn't stopped me, has it?"

"I swear that tolerance of yours is just as high as father's, maybe even worse." She moved closer and stole the bottle, placing it far from your reach, much to your chagrin. "What's got you in such a stupor– you gave her a look–besides the whole wedding situation?"

Before the words of complaint could even leave your lips you refrained. If you told her what you truly felt it wouldnt change much, maybe she might report to mother. Then you'd be scolded for not being grateful at being married to such a kind prince.

"The weather. It's been looking rather awful." You sighed and looked away, the bottle looking quite comforting as it sat out of your reach.

"That doesn't make sense."

You looked her in the eyes, "Some day it will, I just don't know when." Standing up from the water you grabbed a towel and the your bottle and left the place, making sure to leave the place decent.

Damn, I miss Lyra.

It was yours and Prince Cassius wedding.

Celebrations, well-wishers, and sexual innuendos thrown by that one uncle. Happy times.

"Lyra, get me another bottle please." You whispered to your trusted handmaiden and friend.

"It's not that bad ,my lady!" She chuckled.

Noble men, women,and honoured guests were feasting. The bards played songs of victory about past battles and later sang love songs to soothe everyone's hearts.

"A TOAST TO MY GORGEOUS DAUGHTER!" A half drunk king yelled," MY PRIDE AND JOY!" Everyone cheered with him and downed their drinks in one go. Mother shook her head with a smile before throwing a wink at you and mouthing "We love you."

Honestly seeing your father drunk was both concerning and heartwarming. Concerning because he never could get drunk with his alcohol tolerance. Heartwarming because he said what he truly felt about his family. About you. Then again there were times when he'd be violent, arguing with his advisors. Then other amusing times when he had refused to sit next to your mother because , to quote, "I LOVE MY WIFE ONLY WOMAN! DONT TEST MY PATIENCE!" which had occured years ago. He thought mother was trying to seduce him but he refused thinking she was another woman.

Now he was yelling blessings like a proud man. Mother took a small sip of her wine beside him, making sure that atleast one of them was a bit sober. That sound decisions could be made.

Your brothers; Amav and Kyro, twins , were dancing with a few ladies, sharing some funny jokes. Their eyes crinkling as they laughed. Ophelia sat beside mother like a dutiful daughter, not taking a sip of the drink in front of her. But she definitely was enjoying the cake. Rhen, the youngest of you all, only ten, was busy climbing on father's chair to try and take a sip of his drink only to be taken away by Lyra who scolded him on his actions.

Maybe getting married wasn't so bad. Maybe life would get better from now and for years to come. You felt an uneasy feeling, the mark at your wrist stinging. Maybe your soulmate was hurt? It's not disappearing so he's not dead.

Forgive me my love, I may have left you before I could even learn to love you

"Berry for your thoughts, my bride?" Cassius asked, his right hand linking with your left. His gaze falling to yours, eyes bright. Lips smiling. The same lips you had kissed when you said your vows. The man you'd be bound to for eternity, not by fate but by law.

You smiled," It's a wonderful day. The kingdom rejoices. No wars to be fought. It's perfect."

"And how are you? You speak of everything else but yourself, darling." He brought a spoon with cake to your lips. You ate it.

"To be fair, this arrangement felt so sudden. I have yet to learn who Cassius from Arkland is and he is yet to know me." The music faded as the two of you conversed. Dancing had begun and soon your mother and father were on the dance floor and Cassius' parents.

"You have yet to learn about me, my bride." He stood up, offering his hand,"For now you can learn about my exceptional dance skills."

You hesitate,"That's a start I guess." And he whisked you away, carrying you bridal style towards the middle of the ballroom and gently placing you on your feet.

His right hand went to your waist, his left holding onto your hand and soon he led you across the floors to the rhythm of the song.

The crowds of guests had stood aside, watching the two of you as if the both of you were a fairytale. Like you were meant for each other, like soulmates.

A wolf whistle could be heard coming from the crowd," THATS MY SISTER!!" Kyro yelled, a proud smile on his features. Amav hit him over the head before he could embarrass himself further. "YOU LOOK AMAZING!" He yelled, forgetting his earlier intentions and screaming his heart out.

You nearly laughed at the sight.

"We may have started off as strangers, my lady. Trust me when I say I was against the idea of suddenly marrying a woman and trying to get to know her for a few months." Cassius admitted , his breath fanning your neck sending goosebumos down your spine.

"You and I both then."

The music crescendos and he spun you around before lifting you into the air and placing you back down gently. "But now that I've seen you. Now that I know your gentle heart. I can't help but fall into the abyss of a foreign feeling. "

You kept up with his pace, moving in and out before spinning again. Your dress billowing around you. You took note of his wording. Smiling up at him as he smiled at you. Only letting the false smile go when your back was to him.

Lyra watched as the both of you danced like two swans in a lake. It was clear to her that Cassius was leading. She saw all those dance lessons making her lose hope in your sense of rhythm.

Her eyes went to see Cassius' mother and father. They hadn't drunk the wine at all throughout the wedding. Maybe they were abstainimg from it? No. It was something more. Lyra herself liked to indulge in a drink or two but since her lady was keeping those drinks occupied throughout the wedding she decided to be sober in the case of making sure no one took advantage. Not even her husband. She held little Rhen by the hand, leading her toward the exit to get her changed since some food had stained her dress. She passed a coughing attendant and handed her a glass of water. "Are you alright?" She knelt down and gave her a napkin seeing an alarmingly red substance get wiped off when the woman let go of the napkin. "Blood...?"

"Do you want to know what that feeling is my love?" Cassius whispered back to you. It was like he was sharing a secret nobody had to know but you. An intimate secret.

He pulled you in, grip gentle but firm. You furrowed an eyebrow, moving in a bit closer to try and hear him over the music. "What is it, if I may ask."

He went in, giving you a soft kiss on the lips. Once they parted, he kissed your temple. "Guilt my love. As much love as I may harbour for you, I doubt it would be enough for you to reconsider and forgive me."

Your eyes looked into his, the music blocking out almost everything going on around you. Almost.

Coughs had erupted from everyone. The results of their coughing dripping down slowing from their lips, eyes wide in fear and shock.

"GET A DOCTOR!" Ophelia had yelled, trying to get your collapsed father from the floor. You mother had tears in her eyes, tears of pain. On the other side of the crowd lay Amav and Kyro unmoving. Their hands held tightly together from trying to previously pick each other up once the other had collapsed. Their lips coated in blood.

It was something out of a nightmare. Blood splattered every where, on the floor, on the table. Your eyes widened in horror.

"What did you do?!" You tried to push against Cassius chest to try and assist your family. To try and save your guests.

"I don't like it at all. But mother says it's the most effective method." He said, no longer whispering in your ears . "Painless."

Lyra's eyes widened and quickly she ran and pulled Ophelia away from the dead bodies of her mother and father. Rhem was frozen in shock , being pulled away by Lyra.

"Come on, we have to get out of here!" Her eyes went to her friend, to you. She'd promised herself she would save you later. That she'd make sure to get you back alive. First she had to get the royals in her care out if harm's way.

Tears cascaded down your cheeks as you begged for Cassius to let you go. Your heart unable to take the loss of your family and friends. You pushed and kicked but it was as if he felt nothing. All your strength had left you, and not even the buzz of the alcohol in your system could numb the hurt.

"YOU MONSTER!!!!"

He hushed you, placing your head on his chest as you cried. Your voice faded into a whisper, "You monster!?"

True to what you had thought , promises are merely words used to appease fools. A wedding to unite families. A promise. Everyone was a fool.

Zoro woke up in a cold sweat, his eyes searching the room. Everyone was asleep in their beds, fully knocked out from all the fighting they had done in Enemies Lobby. He stood up and headed for the bathroom.

His hands held the sink as if he was trying to steady himself. Zoro looked in the mirror. Locks of green strewn all over his forehead, dark circles under his eyes, heartbeat going to fast. What the hell was happening? It's like his heart was shattering into pieces but he didn't know why. From what he knew, he thought the mark on his wrist was just there to tell himwho his soulmate was. What's with all the random emotions?

"Are you alright Zoro?" Robin's voice broke him out of his thoughts. She had a cup of tea in her hands.

The swordsman nodded, though it wasn't believable to the woman."I'm guessing it's your soulmate?"He stayed silent before turning on the tap and washing his face to try and wake up.

"I may be able to help you. If you want me to..." She offered. Ever since she had joined the Strawhats she felt safe, happy. The thought of them getting hurt because of her past had scared her. Made her surrender to CP9. Now she had been rescued from the World Government's clutches thanks to her friends, her family.

Zoro deleted his pride for the moment, thinking about the pro's and cons of opening up the shell that is his soulmate. "Yeah,"

They found themselves outside, Zoro facing the waves as they lapped against the ship. Robin took a seat at one of the chairs that had been left outside. She took a sip of her tea.

"So..."

"So?"

"What do you wanna know, Swordsman.?"

Zoro stood silently, thinking about whether or not he would want to ask the question. The crew would tease him if they found out how much he really cared about whoever he was connected to. That he would be willing to die for them. He grew up with the mark as a reminder that he wasn't alone out here in this great big world. Now he was never alone with this crew. But what about the person he was meant to love?is she alone?Does she have a family?

"Do soulmate marks get you physically?" He didn't know how to word the question.

"Well, according to research made for centuries, your type of mark does infact connect you to your soulmate, anything like strong emotions and injuries, though those are faint when felt." She answered, adjusting her gown due to the cold wind.

"What does it mean if it actually felt really painful?"

Robin hesitated then looked at him, "Then it must be something extremely traumatic or extreme happiness."

Zoro frowned, there was no f-ing way that the feeling he felt was happiness. It was a feeling of broken hopes. Hurt. Mourning.

"And is there a way we can trace where my soulmate mark is bonded to?"

Robin shook her head, a small frown on hsr face.

Zoro sighed, maybe it truly was up to fate to bring both you and your love together and judgkng by how the mark is slightly faint anything could happen.

i love dumping random shit onto my tumblr anyway weird discussion of the most random fandoms combined go! mostly discuses love as core themes of stories.

i think my favourite pieces of media are those that just dont make sense if you dont view them as a love story. i came across this discovery as i was watching code geass ep 17 when lulu goes insane when he realises the one thing thats in his way is also the person he trusts completely. there is no other genuine explanation other than love for the reasoning of his reaction in that scene. with shirley he had this mellow yet sorrowful reaction when he realised he couldnt be with her anymore. not saying there wasnt a part of him that didnt love her but with suzaku? he goes berserk. whatever he felt couldnt have happened if he didnt love suzaku.

other good examples of this are frieren, orv, and house. there are more my brain is just kinda fried rn and i think these three are good examples of like. varying levels of how explicit the message is. (theyre all obvious af tho)

ill start with frieren because i think if youve even like. heard about it youll know but himmel and frierens relationship really is the core of like the entire story. a boy who loved too soon and a girl who loved too late. frieren just isnt. frieren when you take that away. frieren at its like core is about love you cant just remove that because then the story wouldnt be the same it probably wouldnt even exist!!! and im sure everyone knows this its just surprising how frieren isnt officially a romance manga considering its entire premise

another example is orv which is a bit harder to know if youve only read the webtoon. orvs story just wouldnt exist if hsy didnt love kdj. if she didnt write yjh and then kdj wouldve died, plain and simple. and if kdj didnt love the story back then he wouldve also died. hsy, yjh, and kdj at their core are their love for each other. hsy spent 12 years writing a book everyday just for kdj to keep on living and in kaizenix she waited 50 years for him. yjh spent the entirety of orv learning how to love from kdj, through fighting alongside him, through protecting him, through seeing him die, even when he learned he wasnt real he still believed him, and in the end yjh was the one who let kdj be known in every universe. his mission was something that he only could brave through if he loved kdj. and he did. speaking of kdj, i think its very obvious to everyone but his self-sacrificial nature is due to him only knowing that as a love language. something else is how without kdjs love, orv also just wouldnt exist. if his love for twsa, for the chars, for STORIES, didnt exist, he wouldnt be alive. if he didnt keep on molding twsa, to be alongside every yjh and co, to suggest new plot points, he wouldve never came to love it.

onto my last example, house. now i think you gotta be a very specific type of person to catch them (its called not being homophobic) but man are house and wilson like. house the show itself. their love defines the show, from the first scene to the last. he only took that first case which started everything because of wilson. half of his stupid antics are because of wilson. his love starts and ends at wilson because he knows wilson will be the one person who will always be there consistently for him. because no matter what happens, like house getting sent to trial by tritter, or house failing to save amber, they will be together, whether they want to or not. so when wilson is diagnosed with cancer, he breaks. the one person who he thought would always be there for him. isnt. in fact, he'll die first. and so, he does everything. he listens to wilsons stupid fucking ideas because he needs wilson to be there for him, he needs wilson at his grave, not him at wilsons. thats why he gives everything to wilson, his vicodin, his attention, and even his life. the only reason he dies is so he can be with wilson. none of this actions can be done without love in them, absolutely none. i think my favourite quote of them is "if house chops down a tree, and wilson isnt around to hear it, did it really fall?" it just sums up their stupid, needy, insane, and romantic dynamic so much.

all of these pieces of media need love in them to be them, so i hope ive loved them more than they could ever want, despite some of their flaws 🩷🩷🩷

lottie/nat/travis theory!!

read something about the possible idea of lottie/nat/travis polycule idea and wanted to expand <3 (this is long lol sorry ill make a tldr)

so, obviously we have nat and travis already together and as the majority of yj fans i come across agree on, they're relationship is lowk toxic. and i can't imagine them just sort of staying together even if its an on and off thing until they get rescued, cause they're trying to make five seasons total so three more seasons of just them kinda being weird and toxic? doesnt make sense imo

especially since we see how lottie and nat had that weird sort of relationship as adults, and how lottie is the one who killed travis technically, and with the travis boner situation it just feels like lottie is so involved in this couples story.

so my idea is that in the teen timeline travis and nat are fighting maybe its lottie related maybe its something about nat being the new antler queen maybe its something else entirely but travis ofc starts trying to find comfort in lottie who, with her personality, would immediately try and guide him and this pisses nat off ofc.

now in my head, this is sort of like a love triangle: nat wants travis to just focus on her and care for her but as much as he loves nat he's intrigued with lottie but lottie is more intrigued with nat. (not necessarily saying travis likes lottie or lottie likes nat i think its more complicated than that).

so lottie and nat sort of get closer and nat is getting annoyed w lottie for comforting travis but then nat sort of finds comfort in lottie as well? like somewhere in between romantic and just lottie being a good person. i think they might even have sex but its less of a love thing or a passion thing its more spiritual if that makes sense.

i think nat would automatically shut lottie down after that and lotties left confused and hurt maybe even thinking she likes nat (which liike i said before i think its more complicated than that).

now my delulu gay ass loved this theory like oh lotties just the side chick but she really liked nat and nat didnt like lottie back til they were adults but then she went and died. however - and im just 100% running wild with this - if this is true and nat kinda left lottie stranded then when lottie said "shes my friend" and nat said "is that what we are" wouldnt really make sense. it would be the other way around. like i said, this is a huge stretch but i thought maybe instead of nat just hurting lottie, lottie hurt nat back.

i think after lottie and nat have sex, lottie is hurt so she goes and finds comfort in someone she knows would be willing. travis. her and travis have sex, out of pure passion from travis' side and out of hurt from lottie. its a co-dependence sort of thing between the three of them. it does feel very shauna/jackie/jeff coded but i do think this theory is kind of realistic.

i think something like this will def happen except for the lottienat sex scene thats the only thing im iffy about but as a lottienat thruther i really want it to happen. i do think theyre leading up to lottie getting involved with these two but ultimately travis and nat get back together (but travis and lottie dont really end off on bad terms which is why travis feels comfortable reaching to lottie as an adult).

tldr: teen nat and travis are getting distant, they both look to lottie for comfort, lottie and nat end up fucking before nat sort of ghosts her so then lottie fucks travis but ultimately travis and nat get back together.

theres a lot i could say about her because shes been around for long enough and now that this arc is 100% done i can safely voice my opinions which will never have any future opportunity to change. this is 3 years (and particularly the last 3 months) worth of angry impassioned and disillusioned thoughts but its still not everything. and maybe someday ill better describe what i actually wanted from her

i dont like frostpaw because everything about her and her story was pathetic and horrible. frostpaw had every chance to be a great character but unfortunately she was born into a corrupt fictional world and raised under a broken system and she never stood a chance to bring about any real change (i knew this all along and i hate to whinge but really i did. nothing ever changes! meditating isnt going to solve anyones problems no matter how nice and agreeable a concept it sounds). frostpaws story is one full of couldves shouldves and wouldves

everything about this arc bothered me and there wasnt a single chapter i couldnt find something to complain about. i know this makes me sound like a total bitch. but somehow she still managed to be the better protagonist even when the bar was set incredibly low which is a feat in and of itself

i could be pedantic here and bring up smaller scale things about her story that bother me like the way she would have made more sense as an only child (for the exact same reasons as shadowsight), or the age retcon at the beginning of the arc and how she should have just trained as a warrior first, or i could rave about the way her friendship with splashtail hardly had any spotlight which ultimately made the dynamic difficult to enjoy for anyone who isnt named cheyeh. maybe im just sick of light-haired girls with blue eyes. but those are for another day. they add up quick though. my biggest gripe is probably her relationship with her mother (and by extension starclan) and the way both of them were treated over the last three years. i wouldnt feel so negatively toward frostpaw if she hadnt been so quick to turn on the one who raised her and kissed her skinned knees and made her hot chocolate after school. she agonizes over the realization of what her mother has done, but she is incredibly quick to toss out all sentimentality and claim that curlfeather deserved her fate and worse. theres not much heart here (and thank god that wasnt her suffix). its poor writing, its incredibly angering boring and disappointing and its something ive been meaning to write about for a long time

actually i might as well bring up the splashtail problem now because i know im never going to get around to making a big post about them

frostpaw and splashtail were supposed to be important to each other at some point early on in their lives, but we are never properly shown this and so the general fanbase was put off by her sudden crush on him. and i undersand that. i know were all sick of the same thing over and over. but frostpaws feelings for him were completely reasonable, and if either of them were written even a little better i know it would have made a lot more sense. and yet instead of the writers trying for anything remotely interesting, frostpaw becomes obsessed with marrying him and having his children. she says shed like to name one after her mother. because this is what all women are meant to do with their lives and this is what being a warrior is all about. she cannot just have a best friend and be done with it; she needs to want this and he needs to give it to her because its what they do. this is all very fucking stupid and it almost ruined both of them for me

we dont see inside splashtails head at all so we have no idea why hes doing all this or why he cant bring himself to care about her as a person anymore, and we are left to watch frostpaw mourn the relationship with her best friend that never came to be. and once again, although she didnt want to admit it for a while, she simply accepts the fact that, like curlfeather, he is just evil and theres nothing to be done but get rid of him. that sounds like a major oversimplification but it really isnt. she doesnt examine this in any way that matters and neither does anyone else. and no one else was ever going to! that should have been her job as the protagonist! she is supposed to think differently. its not so much a frostpaw problem as it is just flawed writing overall. curlfeather and splashtail were just a few bad apples and we dont need to think about the rest of the bunch because now that theyre both dead and in hell well never have to consider the possibility that something like this could ever happen again or think about why it even happened in the first place. thanks for getting rid of the problem for us frostpaw. no one will ever know just how much this hurt you because they never knew him like you did but since they didnt you can just spend the rest of your life pretending those feelings arent there

im also very put off by the fanon interpretations of her character, and while this doesnt affect her canon characterization its still something that drives me completely insane. theres a pattern ive noticed over the years where people try to paint every medicine cat protagonist as wimpier than they actually are and will act like they need to be protected by the other two (and most recently, inferior) protagonists. i shouldnt have to explain why this is annoying and sort of ruins any enjoyment i could ever possibly get from fanart. i dont want to sound mean but i dont find anything sweet or cathartic about her ending and i think art celebrating it is lame and makes me feel absolutely nothing

ive said it before but frostpaw can be very angry and defensive and i wish people utilized this aspect of her personality without making her look like some naive idiotic crybaby! (and without having her direct ALL OF IT toward her mother. she has more to be angry about) its one of my favorite things about her. i love how ugly she can get. i wish she had been angrier about a lot more. another common occurrence over the years involves characters getting angry at starclan for using them or lying to them or refusing to leave them alone, but in the end the protagonist always ends up forgiving and accepting their ways because they are holy and righteous and good. starclans overwhelming significance to the story isnt the problem here; its the way no one ever seems to learn anything of value and instead come out of their arcs wearing the same black and white colored glasses. frostpaw fought the whole way until she couldnt anymore. her arc went nowhere and she drowned in a deep dark puddle of erin hunters pen ink

i will say i do genuinely enjoy frostpaw for what she could have been, and i always have. unfortunately this version doesnt fully exist. but she was still the best protagonist and her chapters were all i ever cared about. ive enjoyed her more than any other protagonist in the last 10+ years (aside from shadowsight, but even his ending disappointed me). she was fun and fresh for a while but at her core shes just another soldier and she was always going to end up exactly like everyone else in the end. which of course i mean dull and indistinguishable and a stickler to the status quo (which is ironic considering the themes of the last two arcs, let alone her own story and personal goals). i care about her a lot. i would even go as far as to say i love her truly and deeply, but she is terrible. im not joking when i say that she sucks. but shes better than most and somehow thats what matters here. she isnt my favorite. but she probably is in her own special way

i do not dislike frostpaw for the reasons other people have bashed her for over the years; she got a lot of hate when this arc was just beginning, and i never agreed with any of it. she was never just a camera, she was never a whiny bitch, and she wasnt just a lovestruck schoolgirl down on her luck. frostpaw is smart. frostpaw is kind and brave. frostpaw is not a child and she hasnt been one for a long time. its not frostpaws fault she exists in an arc from a series so overtaken with a deep-running hatred for women spanning 20+ years with a fanbase that has never known how to act right, but she also isnt real. so whatever. i hope she enjoys her future of irrelevancy and lack of any real and true relationships and the occasional outlandish and/or ooc remark shell spit out that makes the next medicine cat protagonist look sympathetic in comparison. i hope she enjoys knowing shell never see her two favorite people again. thats what she wanted all along!

A night that changed your life. It wasnt really uncommon for you and Jiwoo to go out; she is your best friend after all. The late night walks or when both of you went to an ice cream shop which weirdly made you fall for her even more!

Either way whatever it was you couldnt seem to fall deeper in love for her. You did try to deny it, shes your best friend so it wouldnt make sense if you were in love.

Going out also wasnt that you both did, at least not alone. Of course you went out with her but usually there was someone with you, it was the case for anything. It did sort of get annoying, both of you wanted time alone but knew it would end up with it being quiet (which you or her dont really mind) and just awkward, however when you did get the chance you said yes.

“Lets go out.” Jiwoo said

It sort of sounded like a demand, the way she said it but you just thought she wanted to finally go out alone. Which sort of was the case. Both of you planned the time when you would go out and the wait began. As it is exam season this night out would be something both of you need.

The day finally came and you would be lying if you said you werent nervous. You were very nervous and a lot. However Jiwoo was the one who was probably even more nervous.

“Hey!” Jiwoo said as she ran into you

“Hey?” You said “Need anything-”

“Yeah.” Jiwoo said

“Alright what is it?” You asked. Honestly it should have been obvious, but you didnt catch on.

“When exactly are we going out?” Jiwoo asked “I mean we talked about it agreed to it but it never got anywhere further than that”

“Tonight?” You said “I mean look, whenever is best for you and me”

“Tonight sounds good” Jiwoo said

“Alright!” You said

“So you are going out tonight? On a date?” Kyujin asked

“Its not a date!” Jiwoo said “Its a hangout”

“A hangout which will turn into you breaking the news to us tomorrow?” Bae asked

“I dont get it, you and Y/n never hang out alone.” Kyujin said “What made it change your mind?”

“I dont know really, we were sitting in the library studying and she threw the idea of going on a night walk” Jiwoo said

“And it turned out into a date?” Bae teased

“Its not a date.” Jiwoo said, bringing her attention fully to the taller girl.

“Well whatever it is, i will definitely want to hear the full story tomorrow!” Kyujin said

Maybe it wasnt a date. Thats what you and her thought, it was just a thought at first to hang out but now it turned into something more. It was already evening and Jiwoo was at your shared dorm room with Haewon, Lily and Sullyoon to go out. You got up and went to the door.

“Im ready!” Jiwoo said the moment you opened the door “Hey…” “Sup” Haewon said seeing Jiwoo

“Have fun!” Lily said the moment you went out. You noticed how nicely Jiwoo dressed, you were wondering if you should quickly go in to change but that plan was quickly changed with Jiwoo dragging you outside.

“Are they your friends?” Jiwoo asked, you knew who she was referring to. Sullyoon, Haewon and Lily.

“Dorm mates” You said “I mean i guess friends too”

“Is it fun living with three people?” Jiwoo asked

“Yeah” You said “They are fun people to hang out with”

“Oh, then thats good” Jiwoo said

You wanted to sort of reveal why exactly you wanted to go out with Jiwoo but that changed as you didnt really want to ruin the night (or date) this early on. Jiwoo dragged you into a coffee shop, the one where you always went to with others, but never alone with Jiwoo. You and her ordered the usual and sat down at a nearby table, you thought she would just sit next to you instead she sat right in front of you. You hoped that she wouldnt see how nervous you are.

“Why are you nervous?” Jiwoo asked

“Im not” You said “Just…its rare for us to be alone, you know?”

“I understand” Jiwoo said “Why have we never tried being alone?”

“We cant, we just get quiet” You said “Remember when Sullyoon and Kyujin left us for a couple of minutes?”

“Yeah and we were just quiet” Jiwoo said “I wanted to say something but i just thought it would be awkward”

“Yeah i know” You said

“But hey! We can at least now get closer” Jiwoo said

You were grateful that this hangout (more of a date at this point) wasnt that awkward. The time spent in the coffee shop was more of Jiwoo talking and you falling even deeper for her. It was pretty much you falling even deeper in love, if thats somehow possible now! But with Jiwoo anything is possible at this point.

Next place she wanted to go was an amusement park and who would you say no to at this point. The walk to it wasnt far away but at least you talked to her a lot, in fact so much that you didnt even realize you were there already.

“Where do you want to-” You said before Jiwoo dragged you to a game already, it was one of those where you had to make a shot of some sort which was almost impossible, nonetheless you agreed to it. You didnt think Jiwoo would actually win, but when you did you were probably more excited than Jiwoo herself.

Maybe Jiwoo knew that you would agree to everything she suggests or she just wanted to have fun whatever it was both of you went to games after games you were sure that you will get through everything and Jiwoo would only have one reward (which was at the start, at this point close to an hour ago), however you saw how smiley and how happy she was, it made your heart flutter at the sight of it. The whole night was mostly you looking at her and not paying attention to anything else.

Midnight was slowly approaching and the last place you wanted to go to was the nearby field, where a firework show would happen. A good way to end the night and hopefully a really opportunity to finally confess to her.

“What are we doing here?” Jiwoo asked

“Just wait and you will see” You said while finding a nice place to sit at, it was away from anyone else but still a perfect place to watch the end of the day show.

“You know im glad we went out” Jiwoo said “What else would we do right now?”

“Honestly probably nothing” You said “Tonight was fun”

“It was the most fun i had in a while” Jiwoo said “Probably in years”

“Yeah me too” You said

“We should do this more” Jiwoo said “You know go on dates”

“This was a date?” You asked, dumb question you should have known. A trip with Jiwoo all alone even.

“You are really that blind?” Jiwoo asked “Y/n i have been giving you signs for months now.”

“Signs?” You asked “What kind-”

“I love you Y/n!” Jiwoo said a bit too loudly making couple of people turn around to look at you, if the sun was still up and shining Jiwoo would see you blushing.

“Come on you really think us going to the coffee shop and coming here is just cause?” Jiwoo asked “A night out really?”

“No of course not” You said “I just never thought you liked me too”

“Yeah i understand i didnt show signs” Jiwoo said

“I love you too” You said “I think this was a successful date”

“It was” Jiwoo said “Im glad thats that…”

You finally confessed to her, honestly you were never sure if Jiwoo liked you. You werent even sure if she even sees you two other than best friends but now that she did confess to, its a huge relief. Especially for you.

The next day Kyujin started the day by asking Jiwoo questions, as Bae had her own dorm she wasnt there currently.

“So let me get this straight, you took her out on a date but didnt tell anyone?” Kyujin asked

“Yeah” Jiwoo answered

“And you confessed without even telling me you had feelings towards her?” Kyujin asked “You really wanted to surprise your other best friend too!”

“Yeah sort of” Jiwoo said “She took me to a coffee shop and then we went to the amusement park and then-”

“Alright i will invite Bae over and you will tell the full story!” Kyujin said before picking up her phone.

You werent safe either, Haewon, Sullyoon and Lily automatically started asking you questions.

“So you have a girlfriend?” Haewon asked

“Yeah” You answered

“Congrats!” Haewon said

Just wanted to say that i f ckin hate that one theory about Ruby being a wingless fairy

no offense to people who headcanon this but for me it deeply makes no sense.

First i think it sucks to reduce the "strong" only female human character to that, like, she's already a marginal, it wouldnt add anything to her character in my opinion

Plus from what i saw, people base this theory on that one sentence Alex said in "The Song of the Stork" about "only fairy can make stork sing" (i say that from memory, maybe i mistake and sorry if i do). It's a bad translation ! In the original version he just says that they would find storks on the wood but that they are difficult to find.

Ruby is already a complete and complex character and this theory would just give an excuse to the fact that she never fit in. But i think it's less relevant if she's not human. She's a marginal because of the way she acts, because of the way she thinks and the things she wants.

And i wanna add that for me, there's other women on gunpowder Island. Then why dont we see them ? Well i have two explainations for that. First when we see gunpowder island we see more the port area which is full of men cause in their mentality, traders and pirates are men job. And Secondly, animating women in gunpowder island would be pointless cause they wont be used as relevant characters in super 4 episodes since it focus on adventure.

So I dont see her being the only girl in the whole island, it wouldnt make sense. (but maybe shes could be the only girl in the port era) It's like in Kingsland, theres only three girls with Leonora cause it wouldnt be usefull to see more women since, accurately to middle age, would be housewives which are useles roles for a show that focus on adventure.

-He's willing to share, but only with the club, he continues to promise that its what's best for you when he gives you a prescription of Cyclobenzaprine, just enough to not give you too much serotonin syndrome, but a little extra joy is normal! Not being able to get up just means he needs to get you another prescription or eight! You trust him, dont you?

-Eventually when you try to distance yourself, all the drugs hes been giving you, all the prescriptions you now dont take will come crashing down on you. Hes not going to necessarily mock you when the kidnapping happens and you go through extreme stress and withdrawl...but this wouldn't have happened if you!-

-He gets along best with stan and mike, since all three want what's best for you

-He has his problems with, surprisingly, bev. She got you hurt once and he still hasn't completely forgiven her though he will back her up when you try and vent to him about her manipulating you

-Your overreacting! hes hurt you think she would ever spread rumors about you when she was bullied herself. shame, shame, shame on you

-Manipulation to the max, she will make you want to spend time with her. There is no other option

-She's one of the more patient of the group though, when you finally start to distance yourself she will calmly help create a plan to help bring you home. You will inevitably be back after all whether its due to drug dependency or the loser club knocking you out on your way back from a party, is up to the universe

-She wouldnt hurt you to a certain point, if she believes its for the greater good then your tough out of luck. But she prefers to just make you feel guilty and dependent

-she gets along best with stan and ben, as the other two are too scared to stop her

-Its not that he doesnt want you to not be a tad scared of him, but you make it so difficult! I mean, hes the worst at hiding his tendencies about you

-He doesnt fully get why you get bothered when he curses out your crush? What could possibly be wrong?

-It goes without saying that he wouldn't hurt you, but he cant bring himself to rat on the others when the kidnapping happens. He locks the guilt even further back in his mind at that point and refuses to acknowledge when you call them crazy

-He gets along best with eddie and bill, all three are deeply concerned for your safety just about constantly

-Pomegranate??? When he's especially feeling in debt to god for giving you to him, he encourages you to pray! before bed...when you wake up...before eating....whenever you feel like leaving him...yknow when you should be grateful for things!

-If your not super religious he's...ok with that. Sometimes he may wish you were willing to engage with that stuff but he tries not to bring it up too much

-Besides that, hes somewhat tame. But he doesn't feel guilty

-He goes with the vibe of the group so if you do something wrong or when the kidnapping comes around and they feel you need repercussions he's not going to stand up for you but he wont be cruel to you

-He gets along well with bill and mike, theyre all pretty chill with you

-You wont know hes a yandere unless they kidnap you, he's a scrawny little guy with a stutter who is barely keeping on after georgie's death...do your really think hed ever do stuff like that?!

-You help him with his stutter, your one of the big reason he tries to overcome it when hes a bit older

-Theres not much he does besides a bit of manipulation about him feeling guilty for what happened to his brother, after all, who wouldn't feel bad for this poor guy!

-He gets along best with bev, they both like each other...and you so it works out for them to share you

I unfortunately feel very pessimistic about Lottienat this season... I was somewhat hopeful for more of them in the 90s timeline given Lottie passing on the crown to Nat (for example Lottie trying to guide Nat, Nat feeling resentment due to the responsibility, etc, I could see a storyline there) and possibly paralleling the present with Lottie having an internal struggle between her belief in the Wilderness and its power and it causing such a tragic thing like Nat's death (like my dream plot would be Lottie ultimately having to double down on Wilderness, needing to convince herself in the Wilderness' greater good, that it loves Nat and she is in good hands with it, otherwise Nat's death, which she would partly blame herself for given she started the hunt, is for nothing).. But with every new bit of info on season 3 I feel worse..

For starters, at that panel them mentioning they're against fanservice and don't bring input from the fans into the writer's room. I do feel like this is pretty pointed, but not limited to, shipping. And the main fandom ships are Taivan, Jackieshauna and Lottienat. And of the three, Lottienat is the only one that's not canon/completely embeded in the narrative. So as soon as I saw that, my expectations, even platonically, kinda dropped to zero.

Then that photoshoot dropped with Misty wearing Nat's jacket and in another interview the writers were talking about how Nat's death impacts Misty the most, though the repercussions are felt for all of the women. So Nat's death ultimately doesn't affect Lottie more than the other women, implying her feelings dont go deeper (romantically, platonically) than the other women's do. And I feel like that's pretty crap generally, like even taking off my Lottienat goggles, given Lottie spent the last season helping Nat recover and ultimately played a part in what happened, I feel like no way she wouldnt also feel worse than the others (aside from Misty who literally did it), but whatever. I think she ultimately is doubling down on the Wilderness/this being the greater good, but not out of grief, which sucks.

Regarding the season getting more gay, my complete shot in the dark theory is actually Lottieshauna. Present day Shauna is now their new queen, according to the writers. And Shauna, unlike Nat, is someone who craves that type of power/recognition, and doesn't shy away from her darker side. This, coupled with a Lottie who's all in on the Wilderness again, I could see going somewhere. I could also see this tying to a theme of a Shauna who's been repressed, finally letting go, in terms of both her darker impulses, along with sexuality (and possibly calling back to homoerotic Jackieshauna?). Plus, Lottie had an interest in Callie from the moment she met her "she's so powerful", paralleling wilderness baby. Shauna most embodies the wilderness (as the writers said), and Lottie is the wilderness' prophet/serves the wilderness. So whether romantic or not, I do think Lottieshauna is gonna be a central dynamic this season.

In terms of the 90s timeline, given the tendency for parallels, I don't think we'll get much, if any, Lottienat. Especially if Nat loses the crown early on. I feel like we'll probably get a lot of isolated Nat or some Nat/Ben, before he probably kicks the bucket. And most likely Mistynat, since I feel like they gotta develop that at some point in the teen timeline, at the very least from Misty's side, to make sense of why she was so attached to Nat and it'd make sense to do so now to parallel her grieving Nat in the present. I can see this especially once Nat gets isolated, potentially exiled, with Misty possibly feeling a kinship towards her as another fellow outcast.

I was also thinking, with that intial teaser with the drop date, with what looks like Travis's hands around Lottie's neck, whatever that context is... we'd probably be getting more of the two of them to some extent as well given they have to maintain some kind of relationship in order for them to remain in contact post rescue.

Ultimately, as a Lottienat girlie I have dropped my expectations to zero going forward :(((

•I love the idea of Lottie struggling with her belief in the Wilderness and her resentment of it for taking Natalie. Such a great internal struggle there that I hope they do end up exploring in S3.

•I know the writers said that Misty will be the most affected by Nat’s death, but I don’t think that means Lottie won’t be extremely affected by it as well. The writers said all of the characters will experience the effects of it. I think Misty obviously has the most guilt to grapple with as she was the one who killed her and she felt that Nat was her best friend so she is clearly going to struggle the most. But I don’t think that rules out Lottie struggling with Nat’s death, too.

I think Lottie will struggle with guilt of being partially responsible for Nat’s death and fear of the harm she is capable of causing others, but she will justify Nat’s death by telling herself that it was an honorable sacrifice to the Wilderness. At the end of season 2, we saw that Lottie was sobbing after Nat died, but she told Tai and Van “We gave it what it wants.” I feel like the expression on her face (that desperate denial) when she says this really shows us the internal battle she is going through. Grieving deeply but telling herself Nat needed to die. I think most of Lottie doubling down on the Wilderness is her way of coping with all of the loss and trauma she has experienced. She has to justify it and believe it was for the greater good; she has to believe there was a purpose for it in order to cope with the grief and terror of it all. The same applies to her feelings around Nat’s death.

•I do think the writers are at least partially referring to Lottienat when they say they are not listening to fan service. I unfortunately don’t think we’ll ever have Lottie and Nat kissing or anything like that. But I do think there’s a possibility of some more subtext, questionable interactions, or some canonical hinting that they have feelings for each other but will never act on them (or one of them having feelings for the other and it not being requited). But there’s no way those two are ever blatantly getting together, I’m sorry y’all😔

•So I’ll be honest…I have never been a huge fan of Lottie/Shauna. I’m not against it or anything I just personally don’t see the appeal of a romantic dynamic between them. That being said, I agree that Lottie and Shauna’s storylines will be very intertwined this season. I think Lottie will definitely take an interest in Callie and will argue that Callie has a connection to the Wilderness that needs to be explored. We saw in the promo pics that Lottie is going to be at Shauna’s house, which I can only assume is Callie-related. And, if Shauna does end up taking the throne from Nat in the teen timeline, I can see Lottie training her up to be the Antler Queen and being her advisor. This would be paralleled with Lottie and Callie in the adult timeline. I don’t see anything romantic happening between Lottie and Shauna, though.

•I am also worried about a lack of Lottienat interactions in the teen timeline due to the show’s tendency to parallel the teen and adult timelines. That’s a major worry for me about Nat’s arc this season in general. My hope is that Lottienat interactions in the teen timeline will be paralleled with Lottie dealing with Nat’s death. I am hoping Lottie will be on Nat’s side and will believe in her leadership (especially given Lottie’s “You were always its favorite” line in the Season 2 finale). I’m hoping that Lottie and Nat are actually allies this season, and that is part of why Nat resents her so much in the adult timeline (because she blames Lottie for leading her towards the Wilderness and all of the bad things Nat did as the leader of the group).

•More Mistynat in the teen timeline is basically a guarantee, which I am excited for! They have to start developing their relationship more in the teen timeline to justify Misty’s grief in the adult timeline. So far we’ve barely gotten any scenes of Misty and Nat interacting as teens. I think they might bond over not wanting to kill Coach Ben, and being outcasts like you said. I also think that Misty loves being a loyal follower to whoever is in charge, so we’ll see her being very loyal to Nat in the teen timeline.

•And we’ll definitely get more Lottie and Travis scenes. I really need to know what that choking scene is about. I like their dynamic and I think their interactions are interesting, I am just praying that nothing romantic is going to happen between them, I would personally hate that🤞🤞
