first term: the top three stripes represent underground lakes and caves, the second through sixth represent the earth, the second represents time, the fourth and fifth represent evolution, the bottom four represent the origins of life, the sixth represents ancient organisms, and the seventh represents primordial soup. the term is ‘subter’ from ‘subterranian’/’ter’ from ‘terra’ (meaning ‘earth’), ‘primo’ from ‘primordial’, ‘olv’ from ‘evolve’, and ‘im’ from ‘time’!

fourth term: the top stripe represents weapons of mass destruction and rebellion, the next four represent flowers, the bottom four represent solarpunk aesthetics, the second represents individuality, and the sixth represents insects, technology, and nuclear energy. the term is ‘nat’ from ‘nature’, ‘destr’ from ‘destruction’, ‘rebe’ from ‘rebel’, and ‘tech’ from ‘technology’!

I wanna know, how would Feyd react to learning his spouse really liked spiders? Like, really really really likes spiders. In love with them, would/is keeping them as pets.

Hi anon! Thanks for the request, I had fun writing this :)

If this is the same wife!reader from my earlier drabble/mini fic, then she would have bits if neurodivergent-ness sprinkled into her brain, lol. I think Feyd would be a bit caught off guard with your hyperfixation/obsession, but assuming from his close observations of you, he wouldn't put it so far off that you would be interested in every type of arachnid the universe has to offer.

Although it is nearly impossible to find those cute, fluffy adorable creatures on Geidi Prime due to the climate, Feyd would absolutely travel to other planets just to bring you whatever it is that you like. Once, he noticed you reading a book about the history of animals, and how you kept rereading the page that discussed different and rare breeds of spiders, and how you gushed over a drawing of a cute little jumping spider on the page.

He got you one from a distance planet after he returned from a trading trip. You later mentioned that it had become your first child.

Feyd would be lying if he said that he didn't feel his heart flutter at the thought of your children, but that's a thought for another time.

Soon the fortress would have quarters where your beloved spiders lived, where you would visit multiple times a day and bring Feyd along with you as you rambled about their different characteristics and habits. And what would Feyd do during all of this? Well, his eyes would be full of love as he stayed close to you, holding your pets children with a gentleness he never knew he held for anyone other than you.

Feyd would soon grow fond of your spiders, and whenever you weren't around to care for them, he would personally take matters into his own hands. This would make you start to fawn over your arranged husband, and those defensive walls you've built would slowly start to melt down whenever you saw the Harkonnen care for your beloved eight-legged creatures.

Nonetheless, Feyd learning about your fixations and hobbies would help him in attempting to grow close to you, even if it means that a few cobwebs and loose spiders are roaming around the Harkonnen palace.

Here's a plot!

Spider dies on the Sea Dragon and wakes up in a world where Mr. and Mrs. Sully love him and adopted him when he was just a baby. In this alternate reality, many things are the same, except for this one change. Confused and wary, Spider can’t understand why they’re being so kind to him and assumes the worst. Haunted by the harsh truth of the life he remembers, he recoils from the love he’s offered, convinced it’s a lie or some cruel joke from the Great Mother. As he keeps his guard up, the Sullys are upset and confused, wondering why their son seems so afraid to open up to them.
