Hiii! First of all, I ADORE axolotls! They’re so cute and just a little dumb in their instincts, it’s very charming. Secondly, since I already have pearls and ravens I went with mostly just axolotls; I hope that’s okay! 🩵🌸

Gem doesn't understand Avian culture, like at all. So when Pearl brought up that her wings needed some preening, Gem happily volunteered without knowing how intimate that is for avians. Gem doesn't know why Pearl kept blushing and stuttering!

Another example of this is when Pearl gave Gem one of her feathers. Gem was confused at first, but she accepted it. She proudly displayed it on her neck as a necklace. She doesn't know why Pearl basically jumped around in joy when she next saw her. Oh- Pearl kissed her. Hm. GRIAANNNN HELPPP!!!

Grian was fully planning to tease Gem. He really was! 'Can you give me lessons on avian dating culture' is far too perfect an opportunity.

And then Gem turned up with a notebook. And started taking notes as Grian talked. At that point, it gets too absurd even for him to make a joke of...
