(I’d include some doodles but I’ve already turned off my pc, RIP)
Ok so basically, you know that tall space guy right? The BUFF one? Well as I’ve already explained he’s not exactly human, but here’s another thing 👀
His (unknown) species, which only his brother and him are part of, is a parasitic species by nature
If any part of his body gets cut off or destroyed, he can regenerate it (of course, regenerating a finger will take less time than regenerating a whole arm lol)
Then the severed part turns into incandescent dust, which can be deadly if inhaled (truly EVIL‼️‼️‼️‼️)
He can indeed survive decapitation, it just takes a looooooooong time to regenerate his entire body
The ONLY thing he cannot replace is his “brain” (which looks more like a void blob tbh), because this whole ability depends exclusively on it
That means his only weak spot is his head, so.. if for some reason you’re trying to get rid of him, aim at that lol
Also, destroying Pipedom (his “heart”) doesn’t kill him, even tho it forces him into a coma-like state until he can generate another one
Am I the only one who finds it interesting just how much Alton Towers decided to change the description for Burial Grounds from last year?
Here's last year's Burial Grounds description: "The Unchosen, a cult obsessive of modern-day fanatics obsessed with the lore of the Beornen invite you to their sacred sanctum of ancient burial grounds. Keep your pace amongst the desecrated realm of unearthed bodies, flaming shrines and monstrous deities. Stay too long and they will choose you too - are you ready? Burial Grounds is a free-flowing outdoor scare zone shadowed by the mighty Wicker Man where you'll encounter the rejectors of modern-day society fulfilling their terrifying primal instincts.”
And here's this year's: “Burial Grounds is a free-flowing outdoor scare zone shadowed by the mighty Wicker Man where you’ll encounter the rejectors of modern-day society fulfilling their haunting primal instincts.”
They just...cut out the entire beginning of the description and changed "terrifying" to "haunting." Which is particularly strange to me considering how much effort last year they put into specifying that the characters we interacted with in Burial Grounds were the Unchosen, NOT the Beornen. The description they put out this year, however, could easily imply that it's the Beornen that we're encountering.
Now for the real question: Will we still be encountering the Unchosen in Burial Grounds, or will it change and we walk through a Beornen ritual instead?
in this video i wanted to explain why Duckling (my okpo land duck ride oc) has to wear the mask (also Keira doesn’t have her scars yet, it’s something that happens later in the lore)
Also weird infection going on (mlp infection aus fault lol)
song 1 is poniko’s room (lights off) and song 2 is Block world all from yume nikki
The “pixel voices” are little parts of mafuyu (from project sekai) and diluc and Bennett (from Genshin impact) voicelines
This is actually my first time doing something like this so, if it’s badly made, that would be explain why lol
Yes. Brickworld does exist. Yes. It still does a show and has rides that highlights the entirety of TAKOS Tuesday... from the perspective of somebody who was sitting in a mansion far away from the action. Risky did add an entire show in the rotation dedicated solely to the events of the Battle For Syspocalystar. No he doesn't know who Rex Dangervest is.
You ever watched that episode of Avatar: The Last Airbender where the fire nation created a whole show about the avatar and his friends that was absolutely ridiculous and wildly inaccurate? That's both of his Lego movie related shows. They have characterization so wrong, if RJ still had the money he had when he was Rex Dangervest he would have started a class action with the Fellowship of Strangers for slander. This man does not research.
A few rides were also added to reflect everything that had happened since his initial building of the park.
The Royal Gardens and Court: it's a very Queen Wa'nabi coded. Mostly just a small garden where they occasionally hold meet and greets.
Mayhem's Orb of Awesome: it's a dark ride that functions similarly to Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. It's a tour of the Systar System that ends in a disaster when raptor ships attack.
Raptor Ship of Terror: it's a ride similar to Disney's Tower Of Terror, if it had an element of an interactive Haunted Mansion and is layered with a dash of a light shooter ride. You're in what Risky believed to be the inside of the Rexcelsior. You're fighting against Rex and his raptors as the ship is crashing into Syspocalystar's moon. You don't actually see Rex in it. He's mostly just a disembodied voice.
Brickworld is a very popular attraction among Minifigures and minidolls. It seems everyone at large has forgotten what happened when the park first opened.
I have mentioned Cobra Curse's immersive theming before, and how it's one of my favorite aspects of the Egypt section. The queue and ride follows the story of a vengeful Egyptian God, The Snake King "Venymyss", his followers, and archeologists discovering that "There is no escape from the Cobra's Curse."
Venymyss was, at one point, a kind ruler with many followers. He blessed their land, and in return gained more power with more followers. The Snake King became corrupt, and obsessed with power, and began to neglect his followers. They experienced drought, loss of crop, famine, disease. He betrayed his subjects, and so his subjects betrayed him by destroying his idol, smashing it to pieces. Snake King Venymyss vowed vengeance, he will release a curse upon the world when his idol is replaced to its glory.
Two-thousand years later a group of archeologists surveying the land uncover the idol in all its pieces, and begin reconstruction, unaware of what awaits them. They use a tall, 70 ft. crane to hoist the final piece of the 80 ft. stature into place. With the placement of the head, The Snake King is free to seek his revenge.
The queue is as heavily themed as the ride itself, as you enter the line you can find notes scribbled on the wall, on bulletin boards, noting the amount of cobras in the area. Scientists uncovering proof of the curse, but far too late. The queue line is littered with mining gear and archeology sites and pieces of the idol. You board the rides train, and are moved into the elevator lift - the crane that is hoisting the head of the cursed idol back into place. You come face to face with that cursed idol as King Venymyss releases his curse.
The structure of the snake statue is actually hollow, with the ability to climb in and change the lights that sit behind the eyes. They go through several different colors throughout the year, depending on if they have any current events such as Howl-O-Scream. The eyes may glow blue, which is its most common, white, or red, which is usually done for the parks Halloween event. The base of the statue is a steel spine, with the walls being made with foam and fiberglass. Each and every car you get in on the ride is unique as well, both in color scheme and emblem on the front. There are 3-D emblems, stickers, and blank cars!
I feel like Thunder Junction would have been better served as a one off plane not connected to the metaplot (something we apparently don't get to have anymore) or even something closer to a What If? Style un-set where the gimmick of "your favorite magic characters...but cowboys c]:)" is more transparent as a goofy gimmick. The way they tried to have their cake and eat it too with having the cowboy plane AND artlessly dodging the baggage the wild West comes with AND shoehorning in both the plot and so many previous characters just makes the entire thing come across tacky and stupid from a flavor standpoint (at least to me). You can tell a serious and compelling fantasy story with Western elements* or you can have the mtg version of the Futurama cowboy universe. You can't do both.
*In the sense that somebody could. I don't have faith in anybody at Wotc to not make it the most insensitive thing possible.
