Heyyyy girl so, I'm at an impasse with my transition. The euphoria is gone and I don't know where to find it anymore. Everything is progressing sooooo slowly, still too afraid to fully present fem, I came out to everyone I could, I'm still figuring out my style

I just don't know where to chase that girl high anymore

the first year or so of transition, euphoria was abundant.

my skin changed, i grew boobs, my body hair thinned out, and my hair grew out. i got laser and my facial hair slowly started to go away. i figured out what kind of clothes looked good on me and what i felt good wearing. i did voice training and found my voice. i learned how to do makeup. i had dabbled before but i REALLY learned how do it properly, and in a way where i didn’t feel like i had to cake my face with makeup.

but things didn’t really change until i decided to come out and stop boymoding no matter what - even if people misgendered me, or were transphobic, i just decided that i was gonna do it because fuck them. i’m doing this for me and not for anyone else.

and that’s when i really learned what it means to move through the world as a woman. because even if i didn’t pass as well as i liked, being publically a trans woman meant that everywhere i went, people either saw me as a woman or treated me with misogyny because they saw me as a man pretending to be one. either way, i had to deal with misogyny every day, the way that all women have to.

i learned what it feels like to get hit on when i don’t want the attention and what it’s like to be followed while holding my keys between my fingers.

and i also learned what being one of the girls feels like, with girl talk, chit chat, and white wine. i learned how to tell my friends how im feeling and listen to them in turn.

and from those experiences, i learned what kind of woman i wanted to be. i learned that i didn’t really like wearing girly things as much as androgyny and rough femininity. i learned that i didn’t really like wearing all that much makeup all the time. i learned how to gently turn away men without offending them. i learned how to deal with a man’s ego by making them feel smart and capable and how to subtly shut them down when they annoyed the hell out of me.

and i also learned that this was MY experience with womanhood and no one else’s. that other women did things differently and were still every bit as much women in their own way.

and at a certain point i realized that there wasn’t going to be a next high, a next hit of euphoria, because that wasn’t what i was chasing anymore. i was building a life and it was finally the life i wanted. now all of my joy is euphoria. and also all of my sadness and rage. because i just AM a woman. i’m not a woman in transition. i’m just a woman.

there are still some things i’d like to change and there probably always will be. but that’s also just what it’s like to be a woman and to be human.

just keep taking it one step at a time and you’ll find your own way. i promise 🙂

Y/N and Travis had met during a The Eras concert, what seemed like a normal show turned into something entirely different. Y/N didn't expect it until she literally ran into this 6'5'' tall man. Travis leaned in closer, his face filled with emotion. "That's incredible! I can't believe it. I'm going to be a dad."

Tears welled up in Y/N's eyes as she saw his genuine excitement. "I'm so glad you're happy, Travis. I was worried about how you'd react."

Travis took her hands in his and looked deeply into her eyes. "Y/N, I couldn't be happier. This is a beautiful surprise, and I'm looking forward to this journey with you. We'll figure everything out together."

Y/N felt a wave of relief wash over her. She couldn't believe how supportive Travis was being. "Travis, you have no idea how much this means to me. I was so afraid to tell you."

Travis took her hand and said, "Y/N, I care about you more than I can express. In fact, there's something I've been wanting to ask you for a while now." He got down on one knee, pulling a small box from his pocket. "Will you do me the honor of becoming my girlfriend?"

Y/N's eyes welled up with tears of joy as she nodded and replied, "Yes, Travis, a thousand times, yes."

You counting them but Angel distracting you so much you had to double count everything like four times.

When he found them all the hotel surprisingly didn’t burn down, which caused almost everyone to give Husk money

Yeah Husk knew it wouldn’t be that dramatic considering if it had any involvement with you, or Lucifer, Lucifer could’ve easily fixed the building before it got to the point of that

He is fucking good

Alastor making the ducks dissolve in thin air once you counted them all and confirmed they were all found and Lucifer mourning the loss of his ducks while you and Charlie awkwardly comfort him.

Alastor instantly going back to his room with the worlds most irritating smile

“Please when you have this.. duck hunting again..you have it NOT HERE”

“Well that went better than I thought..”

And that was the end of the Great Duck Hunt of the century

It was the most fun Lucifer ever had.

And to see Alastor in that state was the icing on the cake.

He loved you so much and was 100% going to make himself a trophy since he found them all

It’s just the little things you do or even in this case the big things that make him appreciate you even more

Café crushes \\ Kyra Conney-Cross x reader

5:25am. It’s too early for anyone to be awake, let alone working. I reluctantly get out of the car and make my way into work. Work is a little cafe that my older sister and her wife own. They opened it about 3 years ago after moving over to England from Sydney. I initially came over for a holiday to visit but fell in love with London so I decided to move over and study over here as well. I unlocked the door to see your sister restocking the little pastries in the window while her wife was getting the coffee machines ready. I give them a quick hello before getting my apron on. As you finish tying your apron on, your first and regular customer comes through the door. 

A few hours later, a big group rocks up to the cafe and I smile knowing it’s the Arsenal girls coming in after training. 

“My favourite team, the usuals right?” I ask but notice there’s a new girl with them.

“Our favourite barista and yes the usuals. Oh Kyra, what do you want?” Steph asks, causing Kyra to pull her head from her phone. 

I look at the new addition to the team and give her a soft smile. Kyra seems to be shy as she kind of hides behind Alessia. 

“She’ll have a hot chocolate”

“No worries girls, I’ll bring those out to you soon”

Meanwhile, the girls go and sit on the long table outside in the sun and Kyra keeps looking at her phone. The girls keep talking while Kyra messages her best friend Charli.

Kyra: I need help

Cha cha: What’s wrong, you ok?

Kyra: No, some girls and I went to a cafe after training and we went to order and the girl behind the counter was so pretty. I froze when she asked me what i want

Cha Cha: Oh ky, you just need to woman up and ask her out! 🙂

Kyra: It’s not that easy, you haven’t seen her…

Kyra’s focus moved from her phone and to the hot chocolate that was being placed in front of her.

“And a hot chocolate for the newest member of the team” Kyra blushed and managed to get out a thank you without making a fool of herself. 

Over the next few months, I noticed the Arsenal girls coming in more than usual. Not that I’m complaining, Kyra can be a sight for sore eyes when the day has been unbearable. The girls again moved to the long table in the sun and I see Kyra and Alessia making their way to the counter. 

“What can I get my star striker and midfielder today?”

“I’ll have a hot chocolate and a muffin, what about you Ky?” Alessia asks Kyra. 

“Uh yeah, j-just a latte th-thanks” Kyra manages to get out. 

“Alrighty I’ll bring that out to you soon cutie” I wink at Kyra and her cheeks instantly turn red. 

Kyra immediately excuses herself to the bathroom and Alessia spills.

“I think Kyra has a crush on y/n and vice versa”

“How do ya know?” Katie asks.

“Everytime we come here and order, Kyra always gets all shy and awkward around her, not to mention the countless times she’s blushed over her. And y/n called her a cutie, with a wink!”

“So we try and help Kyra ask y/n out?” Leah asks.

“That’s exactly what we do”

Kyra comes back into view and makes her way to her seat. Everyone’s looking at her weirdly so she decides to bite the bullet. 

“Why is everyone looking at me weird?” Alessia tells Kyra and ultimately, Kyra confesses to her not so little crush. 

I brought out Alessia and Kyra’s order and added a little something to Kyra’s napkin. I walk behind the counter and see if she notices the little note on the napkin. An arm went around my shoulders and followed where I was watching. 

“Someone’s got a little crush huh?” My sister teased.

“Yeah well I put my number on the napkin hoping she’ll text or call but she probably has a more beautiful girl at the club or somewhere. Plus I don’t even know if she likes girls”

“Hey, you are beautiful too, don’t you forget it” My sister says holding my two cheeks before kissing my forehead. I turn out of my sister's hands to see Kyra leaving her table, wiping her eyes like she’s upset. 

Kyra leaves the napkin on the table and blamed that she felt sick, hence the sudden urge to leave. She walked down the street, wiping away tears until Kyra felt a hand on her shoulder. Kyra quickly wipes her tears before turning around to see someone who she didn’t expect.

“Are you okay? I saw you leave” 

“I- honestly no. I saw you with your girlfriend and - it doesn’t matter. I’m just going to go home” Kyra explained and started to walk away again, feeling as if the explanation was useless. I stood there confused for a second as I backtrack to my previous actions and realised where Kyra got confused. I jog after her and grab her hand, giving her a sweet smile before standing in front of her. 

“I think you got a bit confused. That’s my sister in the shop and she’s happily married to her wife” Kyra instantly found her shoes interesting as her cheeks turned a crimson colour upon hearing the explanation. 

“I feel like an idiot” Kyra mumbles.

“Hey no it was a misunderstanding. If the roles were reversed, I would’ve thought the same” I say giving her hand a squeeze and a small smile. 

“Let me take you out, as an apology?” Kyra offers with that cheeky smile of hers.

“I get off in about an hour, we can go after if you wait?” Kyra nods and I walk her back to the team. I ask her teammates if they want anything else and they all decline, claiming to have an early morning tomorrow with a gym session before training (or so you thought). 

A short while later I see the group start to split off and Kyra comes into the shop looking for a place to sit. She sits at a small booth that’s tucked into the corner, which turns out is my favourite seat. My sister built it for me when she first opened the shop so I had somewhere kind of quiet to study and have breaks. A nudge to my ribs pulls me out of daydreaming and I look over to see my sister’s wife. 

“Go bring her this, you can finish early” She says, sliding a cup with a neatly decorated milk foam heart on top.

“I only have half hour to go, plus I need rent money”

“Don’t worry about that. Just go talk to her”

I kiss her cheek before taking the apron off and carefully taking Kyra her latte. The saucer makes a small clinking sound on the table makes Kyra look up from her phone with that adorable small smile she sports. 

“A latte for the prettiest girl in the room, on the house” I say as I sit down and turn the love heart art towards her.

“I want to apologise again” Kyra starts but you stop her immediately, putting your hand on hers.

“You need to stop that or I’ll leave right now”

“Okay okay”

We talk for hours until I realise the shop is closing in ten minutes. Both of us say goodbye to your sister before walking down the streets of St Albans in the mid afternoon.

“Do you want to come back to mine? Movie and takeout night?” I offer, secretly hoping Kyra says yes.

“That would be good”

I arrive at the apartment building and intertwine Kyra’s hand with mine, making the Australian blush slightly out of sight. Eventually getting to your apartment and Kyra stands in the doorway, kind of awkwardly. I take her hand back in mine and pull her gently inside. She takes in the aesthetic and decor of the apartment and walks over to the photo collection of your friends, family and local soccer team championship wins. 

“I’m just gonna get something, I’ll be right back” I mention and Kyra nods before showing that adorable smile again.

I come back down the hallway and move over to Kyra. I saw her holding a photo of my parents and sister when they visited from Sydney last year. 

“That’s mum and dad, obviously you know my sister” Kyra giggles and puts the photo frame back on the little table. 

“Are we starting our movie night?” Kyra asks.

“Of course but first, we can’t have a movie night without a pillow fort”

Kyra and I spent at least an hour making the fort and it turned out perfectly. I quickly gather all the snacks from the kitchen my phone to order the takeout. Kyra gets settled in the fort first before I crawl in next to her. I suggest for Kyra to pick the first movie and she scrolls through and selects the Bratz movie. I roll my eyes at the selection and settle in for the movie. 

Throughout the movie both of you steal glances at each other, taking in each other's features and all the little details. Like the way Kyra’s hazel eyes shine in the fairy lights I hung up or how the freckles that line her nose and cheeks popped out due to the sunny day the past few days. I attempt to pay attention to the movie but feel eyes on me and glance at Kyra who looks like a deer in headlights. 

“Sorry” She mumbles, not taking her eyes off the screen. I put a hand on her cheek, moving her to look at me. 

“I really like you Ky, will you go on a date with me?” I ask nervously.

“I believe I asked you first” I look at her in confusion then remember back to the café and Kyra was right. I laugh and shake my head before realising Kyra is starting to lean in. I lean in the remainder of the way and our lips connect together in a soft kiss. Loud knocks on the door make us both pull away and move out of the fort to get the pizza and sides before returning quickly, the smell of pizza spreading through the fort. 

“This is going to be the start of something special” Kyra whispers as we both pick up a piece of pizza.

“I agree” I lean over and peck Kyra on the cheek and think that your life couldn’t get any better.

Familial Yandere! Adam

It doesn’t really matter if you’re adopted or if you’re his and Eve’s biological kid, you are his daughter and absolutely nothing will change that. 

He’s always been protective of his family in general and since Adam knows how dangerous this world could be for little girls like you, he vowed a long time ago that he would do everything he could to protect you.

He focused so much of his time and thoughts on keeping you safe, chasing off any boys/girls/etc. who showed any romantic interest in you, and always kept close to you (even if you don’t always realize it). Yet, it never occurred to him that someday there would be a time when you wouldn’t be a little girl anymore.

And he sometimes has a hard time grasping that fact.

Your distance starts out as natural behavior for a growing child, wanting to be with your friends more and branching out away from your parents, and instead of being an encouraging parent, Adam will resort to manipulation tactics. Mostly trying to guilt you into spending more time with him.

Aw, you wanted to skip Daddy-Daughter day because of a friend’s birthday? Alright, it’s just…he was really looking forward to it. Do you want more freedom to hang out with your friends more often? He supposes that he just worries about you, little one, and if something happened to you and your friends couldn’t protect you then Adam wouldn’t know what he’d do.

It works for a little while too, after all, he’s just being a concerned dad but then when your friends, who haven��t been chased away by your father, start to let you know that this isn’t normal behavior for a parent then you become a bit more distant and a bit more defiant.

When you confront Adam, he just comes up with the excuse that he’s doing what was best for you (because he genuinely believes that’s what he’s doing) and that you don’t know what could happen to you in the big scary world by yourself.

Adam is very protective of his family members and is willing to do whatever it takes to protect them. So he will lock you inside of the house and it really doesn’t help that the rest of the family would be platonic yandere as well, meaning that they believe that this is what’s best for you.

When you cry out of frustration about your freedom and life being taken away, Eve and Adam will hug you and rub your back patiently, as if calming and treating you like a toddler who was throwing a tantrum rather than a girl who had a right to be mad at the betrayal of her parents who thought it would be best to keep her their prisoner.

Familial Yandere! Buddha:

Buddha found you when he was visiting one of his temples and you had been abandoned in front of it, perhaps it would’ve been best to let the people who take care of that temple take you in, but there was something about you that Buddha couldn’t turn away from.

Picking you up in his arms, you were simply too precious for this world. Too innocent in his eyes. He felt a growing desire to protect you as he took you back to his home in the heavens to raise you as his own.

Your childhood was somewhat normal, you were well-educated and Buddha made sure that you were well taken care of and happy. However, there was much backlash from other gods who looked down on Buddha for adopting a human child but mostly, they looked down on you for being born a human.

Buddha tried to reassure you that despite this, you were his daughter. While you appreciated his encouraging words, it could not stop the feeling that you didn’t belong in heaven with other deities, and that you were honestly curious to visit the human world you were born in.

Buddha’s yandere tendencies do not start until he realizes that you want to leave. He becomes paranoid when you start asking questions about the mortal world, about if he had any idea who your true parent could be, or if he could help you in perhaps locating them.

“Perhaps I could but I don’t see the point in doing so. If they didn’t want you then, why would they want you now?” He snapped when you brought the subject up again. When you teared up at his words, he instantly felt remorse and pulled you into a hug, comforting you and apologizing for his harsh words.

He thought that’d be the end of it, while his words were harsh, he had hoped that perhaps you at least took them to heart and dropped the desire to go to Earth. To leave the safe and comfortable life he had created for you.

But you’d started shutting yourself in your room more, being more secretive, and trying to change the subject when Buddha asked what you could possibly be doing up there all day; he decided to look for himself and was horrified when he saw you were doing your own research to get to the human world.

He confronts you about it and it results in an argument, about how he was being ridiculous for thinking he can keep you up here when you belonged to humanity and he disregarded your feelings of you not feeling like you belonged. He’d argue that while he’d protect humanity, the world below was dangerous and that you were safer up here.

It eventually escalated to him using his powers to put you in a form of forced mediation, picking you up and setting you under a bodhi tree that he made sure was heavily guarded and safe. Either you sit and think about your actions and reach Nirvana like him and become a God, no longer being able to live amongst humans like you wanted to, or you stay preserved forever (with the help of magic) under the tree. Safe and close to him.

 He regrets not letting you live amongst humans because he knows what he’s done is wrong but when he lays next to you for a nap and lets you lay on him like you had done once you were little, he can’t deny the happiness and satisfaction he feels knowing that no harm will come to you. His beloved daughter.

On a Saturday afternoon, Christian brought your little family to the Pulisic Stomping Grounds. Your children, 6 year-old Luca and 1 year-old Lucia, were wearing their USMNT home kit with ‘Daddy’ and number 10 on their jerseys – Christian customized those jerseys and chose Daddy instead of Pulisic because he thought it would be cuter, and he was right.

Luca and Christian – and sometimes you – play all the time at home. Your house has a small football pitch in the backyard – sometimes Luca would bring his friends to play there. Luca already said he wanted to follow his dad’s footstep to be a professional football player, and both you and Christian are very supportive of his dream – especially Christian, he cried out of happiness the day Luca told him.

Luca is taking every advantage he has of having a professional football player as a father. He loves to watch every game Christian has played in and practices his techniques whenever he can. Christian is very proud of his son and tries his best to help him reach his full potential – no matter how tired he may be, if his son asks him to train him, he will do it in a heartbeat.

When he built the Pulisic Stomping Grounds, not only did he want people – especially kids who love football – to put the stomping ground to good use, he also envisioned him bringing his kids there and happily playing football together. Now the day he has been waiting for has come, and he couldn’t be more excited.

Luca was so excited to finally play football with his dad at the stomping grounds. Because your family doesn’t live in Miami, you didn’t get to visit it so often. Luca was the one who decided to wear the kit because he wanted to make it feel like actual training – he even begged his parents to wear the jerseys too, so you and Christian did.

“Come on, Daddy! What is taking so long???” Impatient Luca shouted from the front door.

“Okay, okay,” Christian grabbed the car keys and calmly walked towards the door, “let’s go, buddy.”

Finally arriving at the stomping ground, Luca immediately got out of the car and ran into the field. He had been holding his favorite ball all the way to the stomping ground, and once he got on the field, he started running and kicking the ball around.

“Mommy, Daddy, Lulu, let’s go!”

“Hey, don’t start without me!” Christian ran towards Luca and started playing with him.

Lucia saw her dad and brother and immediately went to join them. You were behind her and were ready to catch her – she just started walking so you were being cautious. Christian saw little Lucia was coming and as she reached his legs, he picked her up.

“Lulu, do you want to kick the ball?” Christian asked her, and she said “ball” in response.

He then held her close to the ground and walked her near the ball.

“Look, it’s the ball… Kick it around sweety!”

He then swung her little by little, made her feet touch the ball and was able to move it.

“Oh good girl! That’a a great kick!” He sounded proud.

You filmed it on your phone, and Luca was cheering at the back.

“Great job, Lulu!” Luca clapped his hands.

“Mommy… While Daddy’s with Lulu, do you want to play with me?” Luca asked you.

“I would love to! Come on!” You accepted his offer.

You love to play football – not professionally like your husband does, but you can definitely play – and you did some touch and passing exercise with your son.

Christian couldn’t help but pay good attention to what you were doing. He would throw some compliments and advice once in a while.

“Whoo, Mommy, nice touch honey!” – when the kids are around, he calls you “Mommy”.

“Look at that pass! That’s my son!”

“Try practicing more on your left foot!”

“Daddy!” Luca called his dad.

“What’s up, buddy?”

“I want to play with you now!”

Christian looked at you before agreeing – he wanted to play with Luca but only if you were okay with taking over Lucia during.

You nodded, letting him know it was good.

He grinned. “Of course! Let’s go, pal!”

He then handed Lucia to you, ran towards Luca and started playing right away. You and your little girl were watching the boys playing from the side, cheering them on.

That afternoon was a lot of fun. No one was around but four of you – your little family spent a really nice time there.

I took notice only during the re-watch and reading the original novel, but Nanzhu really acts differently inside and outside the Doors. While inside he's as cheeky and dramatic as inhumanly possible, in the real world he's very subdued and in his The-Ruthless-Boss-mode. The only thing that is the same is the way he looks at Qiushi.

This👆 was the part that convinced me that the show creators were completely insane. Like, Obsidian members taking turns and asking Qiushi if he was jealous of the newbie? It's not even framed as a professional competition! They're asking him, point blank, if he's upset that Nanzhu pays attention to the other person. The most het person to ever het the Earth would suspect that something's up here.

And Qiushi's reaction. He's maybe oblivious, but more importantly, he doesn't have any expectations of being treated as anyone special. He has always been abandoned, be it for selfish reasons or "the greater good", so why would this time be anything different? He was the newbie, got his experience, now there is a new person to take his place. He's not even sad, he's accepted and made peace with this part of human nature a long time ago.

hiiiiiii sorry it did take me a while to get to this because. well to be honest i have a threshold for how much tommynalysis i am capable of doing in a given week.

But, since we are relitigating 7x04 today in my inbox anyway. And I do want to preface this by saying like. this is obviously me reading into things and being uncharitable toward Tommy as like. a thought exercise.

If we are taking my original tommynalysis at face value, which basically posits that Tommy is, at all times, driven to present himself as a Nice Guy and contort his own negative feelings to fit that narrative which leads to him basically coming off as just kinda condescending all the time. then I do think the loft scene in 7x04 fits this reading.

Because well, if I'm being perfectly honest, what was Tommy even doing there?? There's no indication that Tommy is in any way aware of what's going on with Buck or knows why he knocked Eddie down at the pick-up game or that it had anything to do with him. Which can only mean that like. when he was taking Eddie to the urgent care Eddie was explaining all of this to him from his perspective as a Buck Understander. and Eddie, by tommy's account, feels bad about it all. he is sitting there ranting to Tommy that like he hurt Buck's feelings and made him feel excluded and that he's his best friend and no one could ever replace him and all this stuff that would probably mean a lot to Buck coming from Eddie himself.

Yet Tommy, for some reason takes it upon himself to go to Buck's and like. tell him all this stuff that's, let's be honest, not really his place to say? Like the whole, "oh you know I could never replace you....Christopher would be so mad for one!" It does come across as condescending to me because Tommy has known Eddie and Buck all of two weeks. He does not know their relationship, he definitely does not know Buck's relationship with Christopher, but somehow he's standing in Buck's kitchen reassuring him like, don't worry kitten....you're still important to them!

and like. IT DOES WORK. Because Buck is kind of easy that way. And it's not that it's not true. It's just why did Tommy think Buck needed to hear this FROM HIM. and not Eddie himself. it's just all very weirdly presumptuous. Like I do think you can look at this scene and read it as Tommy wanting to put himself in the position of peacekeeper, the nice guy who is not trying to ruffle any feathers. which he does by inserting himself into a conflict between Buck and Eddie that, from his perspective, he may have inadvertently contributed to but isn't really about him whatsoever. instead of recognizing that maybe eddie and buck have their own relationship that he does not have total insight into because. again. i have to stress. he just met them like two weeks ago.

And if I'm putting myself in Buck's place here for a minute, if my bestie suddenly got a brand new pal she was ditching me to hang out with and then New Pal came over to tell me 🙂🙂don't worry, 🙂🙂you'll always be important to your Bestie....id be sitting there like girl who the fuck do you think you are.

Obviously, I am not Buck and he is not me. but just like. trying to look at this situation objectively, what is Tommy trying to accomplish here.

I know some people hc that Eddie purposely sent Tommy over to talk to Buck but I really do not buy that at all. I do not think Eddie "lives to provide emotional reassurance to Buck" Diaz was like yeah Tommy, you go ahead and handle this, i owe you one.
