Missing the sea right now. Even though I live in #Devon, my hometown is not on the coast so I really wish I could watch the waves right now. Oh well, plenty of time for that when #quarantine is over! Coastguard landed at #lynmouthharbour - paramedics arrived via the green with 2 people (didn't film them out of respect for their privacy). Don't know what happened, hope it wasn't too bad. A reminder our emergency services down here in #Devon do an AMAZING and increasingly difficult job in all seasons. They put up with austerity and constant cuts to funding by our incompetent liar government. In some cases - like the lifeboats - they get literally nothing from the people at the top!!! Unbelievable. #Brexit will only make this worse in the provinces. Check out this moody vista I took of #Lynmouth this week. A bit of #Devon trivia ...That building on the right near the lamp post is called The Rhenish Tower. The Tower was originally built to store salt water for indoor baths. Later it acted as a light house. It's not the original - following damage in the 1952 floods, a replica was built 📚❤📚❤ .
