“Whatever does it for your lot, I s’pose.” Personally, he would’ve been more than happy to never get dragged into the business of the Dreaming or any of the Endless ever again—well, at least where this guy was concerned anyways.

“Mate, if you’re gonna start your celebration of walking ‘long us petty mortals or whatever, could y’ count me out of it?” Grumbling, he then jabbed a finger off in the direction of the pub. “I thought I did me fair share o’ good work for you and expected t’ never see you again. Welcome to THELORDOFTHEDREAMING,  a rp blog for a comic based Morpheus, lord of dreams from Vertigo comics           Est August 8th, 2022 (yet another reboot).

Breathing, that was all that was in the dream Anakin was currently having; that mechanical breathing that was coming from a black clad individual ---- what Anakin would eventually become, but this wasn't an ordinary dream; Morpheus was doing this for his own amusement and giving the so called hero with no fear Nightmares? Well, that was simply going to be a highlight of his newest game.

Anakin watched the figure in slight horror. Memories tugging at the edge of his mind. That breathing was suffocating. A sense of dread was building up in him, this couldn’t be his future. There had to be more than this. He was trapped in a dream and couldn’t wake up.

           He was dreaming, not exactly his usual type of dreams either; for once, he was actually calm, and he seemed to enjoy the pace. 

           No war, no perpetual darkness, and nothing had gone wrong ---- no Empire, no Rebellion, and no former Republic. It was simply a calm dream, a reason why he wanted to stay asleep as long as possible, and he knew fully well that he was dreaming. It wasn’t that hard, reality was harsher than most would even believe, but he was still going to enjoy the moment for as much as he could.

          Or rather, that was what he thought for the time being as for an instant, the scene changed, and that deep mechanical breathing that he had been hearing for the past few years came back. He couldn’t escape it, even in his dreams, he couldn’t escape what might come, but he had to face it... alone.

While many wouldn’t have believed their was a Lord of Dreaming, Anders knew better; in the years the other had been imprisoned, Anders was making quite a name for himself. In truth, it was easy to consider himself as something more than simply typical demon. 

With Lucifer full out A B A N D O N I N G Hell, it seemed that everything had been going quite well, Morpheus had taken the keys, and done... whatever with them. Either way, it ended up giving Anders quite a lofty place for the time being, and it was time to finally meet the dreamer. Not that it mattered too much, he thought he could handle most things, but then again? He was born of N I G H T M A R E S  and not simply just dreams. There was a difference in his mind and he would make sure the other knew that.

“Morpheus.” The name came out thickly, “Things have changed since the last time I saw you; you’re no longer stuck in the cage designed for your sister.”
