in truth, lucifer did find this amusing; the whole situation was actually the most amusement he had in years. the only problem was he wasn’t exactly going to let his own amusement interfere with what he personally wanted. if that meant protecting an insect? so bet it. he had done worse before and more than likely would do so again.

rather, lucifer could move on, and everyone could go back to their ‘normal’ lives. he would protect what was his and there would be nothing anyone could do about it. well, they could, but that was ultimately besides the point.
