you could do a drabble about Jonathan Crane...a continuation about a drabble that he helps his patient with his sexual health problems, but now instead of observing he participates 👀 and Reader doesn't want to but does want to 🫠 I love your content, I'm so happy you're back.💜
seems like a perfect continuation to this c: HOW did it turn out so long lmaoooo 18+ ONLY OF COURSE
length: nearly 2k
warnings: noncon/heavy dubcon, abuse of power/manipulation, medical kink, praise kink, pain kink (at least on his part lol)
"How will I know when I'm ready?" you asked hesitantly. "For... sex?"
He smiled, very very slightly, and did that annoying therapist thing where he answered your question with a question. "What do you think are signs that you're ready for that step?"
You sighed, noticing how he'd flipped it back on you (he explained before why he did that-- because his job was to guide you to personal growth rather than just tell you what to do-- but you still wished sometimes it could be more simple) and tried to think about how to answer his question. "I guess... desire, would be a good sign."
"It would certainly help," he laughed lightly. "It's hard to feel much pleasure during something that feels like a chore. Have you?"
"Hm?"
"Have you experienced any desire for or interest in sex lately?" he asked.
Suddenly feeling a bit flushed, you looked away from him and rubbed the back of your neck. "O-oh, uh... I-- I guess that depends on what you consider--"
"So you have," he interrupted, smirking a bit, and you glanced at him before looking down at the floor with a nervous laugh. "I suspected as much."
"Because I brought it up today?" you assumed.
"No, for quite some time," he responded. "Weeks ago."
You blinked quickly, wondering how he could've noticed something like that. "Oh, did I... say something?"
"It's what you don't say," he explained, looking at you with a bit more darkness in his eyes. "It's what goes without saying."
You knew that he knew, but you weren't strong enough to admit it yet. "Wh-what do you mean, Dr. Crane?" you asked, playing dumb and hoping helplessly that it would work.
He sighed and shut his notebook, setting it aside and tilting his head a bit as he looked at you. "What do you think I'm referring to?" he asked.
You scoffed, seeing an opportunity to change the subject. "You know I can't stand it when you do that... you should just answer my questions," you decided.
"Yes, I bet you'd like that, wouldn't you?" he smirked. "Simply being told what to do."
You shuddered at the way his voice changed... and his stare, too, it seemed to rake over you. Even though you weren't sure if he was really asking, you found yourself nodding.
"Say it, out loud," he insisted.
"I want you to... to tell me what to do..." you mumbled nervously, "Dr. Crane..."
He smiled, wider than probably you'd ever seen on him and your gaze followed him as he stood up. "I'm glad you've finally admitted it," he said softly, stepping closer to you until his form towered over you as you sat on the couch-- your heart beat faster as you arched your neck to look up at him, swallowing thickly. "Dilated eyes, elevated heartrate, tightly crossed legs-- yes, I noticed all the signs of desire in you. You want me to help you with your aversion, yes?"
"Well, of course, but--"
He leaned down and held your chin softly in his hand, making your words fail into a whimper. "I think you'll experience much faster progress this way," he explained. "You'll do as you're told?"
You hesitated, your heart pounding in your ears, but you nodded slightly; you couldn't exactly say 'no' now, could you?
And he wasn't wrong-- you'd thought about this, with him. But not literally this. You just thought he was attractive, and though he was the one who told you to touch yourself daily at home to desensitize your mind and increase your libido, you never admitted in your self-reports that you were usually thinking about him.
But you weren't thinking about him as your doctor. You were thinking about him as some other person, who just happened to look like that. And though, in your mind, he always took charge... this felt strange in all the wrong ways.
He didn't quite force you down, he just guided you-- but it wasn't gentle, either. It ended up with you laying back on his couch, the decorative throw pillows supporting your back and keeping you half-upright as Dr. Crane slotted himself between your legs, running his hands over your body through your clothes.
He hummed a little, staring down at you in this greedy, voracious way that was totally unfamiliar. You whimpered a little when his hands groped your breasts through your shirt. "Don't worry," he offered, as if it were that simple. "I told you to stimulate yourself like this each night... did you?"
"Yes," you breathed, "but, um... not so... not exactly like that."
"Show me, then."
Your hands were shaking as they took the place of his, and you thoughtlessly bit your lip as you squeezed yourself a little slower, a little gentler-- you both sighed when your fingers pinched your nipples slightly through your clothes.
He reached down to your waist, sliding his hands up under your shirt. His touch on your bare skin was... unexpected, to say the least. His hands were warm, which was a relief, but you still felt shivers run all over you as his fingers delicately moved up your sides. Under your shirt and bra, he cupped your breasts as your own hands fell away. "Like this?" he mimicked your touches, only without the barriers; and even though it made your stomach flip, you couldn't deny that what he was doing felt better than it ever had when you did it to yourself.
Not wanting to admit that to him, though, you just bit your lip harder and nodded.
Just when you started to get somewhat comfortable with-- or at least used to-- what he was doing, he pushed up your clothes to your collarbones, exposing your chest to his lascivious gaze.
"O-oh," you blurted out at the rush of cool air, at the way he stared down at you with an open, hungry mouth-- which he then suddenly latched onto one of your hardened nipples. "Oh!" you whimpered, hips rocking up against him unintentionally when he suckled hard at the sensitive bud.
He wasn't subtle about it, or all that gentle, but it wasn't too much. Thought it was certainly much more intense than you expected.
He hummed against your skin, and you continued to shake uncontrollably beneath him; it was a raw and aggressive sort of pleasure, his tongue and teeth constantly stimulating you, each movement making your pussy clench inside. He'd always told you to be slow and careful with yourself, to even tease and edge yourself if you could... apparently he didn't practice what he preached.
Apparently he didn't need to. You could tell that you were soaking your panties already. Your head was spinning; how the fuck was this actually happening?!
His mouth moved to your other nipple, his fingers tweaking the one still slick from his thorough treatment. He tilted his head, and you regretted glancing down to look at him latched into you like that. This was your doctor, your psychiatrist... you knew it was wrong, you weren't that naive. But you were apparently too stupid to figure out how to stop this.
When he broke away, he grinned up at you. "You're so sensitive here," he purred, "what other places have you found, hm? Those little spots that make your toes curl?"
It must have been a rhetorical question, because he was already pushing your skirt up to your waist. You shivered, feeling that familiar anxiety swell in your chest, but you tried to keep it down. Even if this wasn't at all how you imagined it, you did want to be done with this, to finally say you were able to move past your fear. Maybe this was just as good as any other way-- to just get it over with.
But you had to take a deep, shaky breath when his fingers hooked into your panties... gently pulling them down your thighs-- or in this case, up your thighs, since your legs were forced up and apart by his body between them.
He purred at the sight of you-- or maybe just when he saw how wet you were, but he got the feeling he already knew.
"Very good," he praised, and you sucked in a sharp breath. "You look ready."
Your eyes went wide as he sat himself back a bit, his hands hastily working on his belt and fly; you didn't want to watch him do this, but you couldn't seem to look away.
If your eyes were already wide, then they must have nearly popped out when he opened his trousers and pulled his cock out.
"I-it's too--" you blurted out instantly, scooting back on the couch a bit, recoiling away. "Dr. Crane, you're too--"
"What?" he asked innocently, though it was terribly unconvincing.
"It's too big," you whispered, and he laughed lowly.
"Don't worry about that," he sighed as he leaned down over you again, sliding himself between your slick lips with a groan. "You-- fuck-- you won't have any trouble. My god, you're soaking me already..."
He seemed pretty distracted, and wholly unbothered with your hesitance. You took a deep breath, trying to calm yourself, but you couldn't seem to soothe-- especially not when he guided his head right up to your entrance. "W-wait," you stammered suddenly, moving your hips back, "I'm not-- I'm not ready."
"I think it's time for me to make that decision for you," he said firmly. "If you never challenge yourself, you'll never overcome this."
"But I'm not--!" you began, cut off by his hand covering your mouth. There was a ferocity in his glare as he watched your face, studying the changes in your expression carefully as he penetrated you.
As you had feared, his size was an issue. Even dripping wet, you had to stretch to accommodate him... it had been years since you took anything bigger than your own two fingers. He'd had you buy a relatively thin, 'ergonomic' (as the packaging stated) vibrator to insert in yourself at home, but you'd gotten too nervous and couldn't get it in past the first inch. He told you it was all in the mind, and you thought he was right at the time, but this felt physically impossible. And it just kept going.
You whined, nearly screamed, behind his hand, and he groaned in your ear with hot and heavy breaths.
"You can take it," he assured, sliding in deeper, "you can take my cock. It's going to fit... one way or another."
You sighed with relief when his hips were flush with yours; you were shaking, a thin layer of cold sweat all over you like you'd gone through some awful thing. But it wasn't over-- it had only just begun.
"Fuck," he grunted, starting to pull back and push into you all over again. "I know it hurts now... but you'll get used to it."
At first, you thought he meant just now-- that your body would relax and adjust, which it did eventually. But that wasn't what he meant, exactly. He meant something much more long-term, if not permanent; he meant that soon enough, you would be all too comfortable being his to use.

What do you like about the character of Raphael ?
A Feral Love Letter to the Devil We Know
Oh boy. Here’s my list of why Raphael is like catnip to me (it’s not short and it is possibly a bit extra deranged because I am currently sick).
Purely physical things that convince me that this man was made for me in a lab:
Brown eyes and dark hair has always been my type
The slight stubble and those cheekbones (generally just his whole facial structure is beautiful)
The fucking n o s e <3 <3
Those thick thighs (perfectly sittable and bitable). He is just perfectly shaped.
Those hands he waves in your face all the time and those long fingers (does things to me)
His clothes. Yes, even in cambion form and even the silly clown boots, I love them. It is just all too extra, and I live for it
Everything about his cambion form
I have this crazy theory. There has been made these studies that depending on hormone levels, women are attracted to different kinds of men. At one end of their cycle, they prefer more ‘feminine’ looking men, and on the other end they prefer more traditionally ‘masculine’ looking men. If I get tired of his human form, I get more attracted to his cambion form and the cycle repeats. I think that is why I just do not get tired of staring at this stupid man every day. I know I’m not crazy. It’s science (and we all know I’m a trusted scientist).
Non-physical things that intrigue me:
How expressive he is. I love how his face changes constantly and dramatically with each sentence he speaks. It’s mostly an act but he is so charismatic. He has ‘rizz’ like the kids would say.
I can’t fix him. I don’t want to. His mind games intrigue me. I want to study him like a bug and play mind games with him too (I’m not delusional enough to think I’d win). Let it be toxic as fuck on both parts.
This man is just chucking stones from his glass house like there is no tomorrow. He plays such a big bad devil, but he is really just a little wet cat with a god complex and daddy issues. Not to mention his little hissy fits if any of his perceived weaknesses are pointed out. I find it endearing (unfortunately).
His voice and his eloquence. I love it. Even his shitty poetry. I could listen to it for eternity.
He is so smart. I have been shouting it from the roof tops: he is not stupid. He is always ten steps ahead.
He’s honest. He doesn’t lie and you know where you’ve got him (if you know how to keep up with him).
Genuinely everyone thinks he sucks, both devils and mortals, and yet he thinks he is the shit, either genuinely or as a coping mechanism.
He just such a nuances character if you really dig into it.
Things I relate to:
The scheming and overthinking. Everything is meticulously thought out to the point of obsession. He is playing 4D chess but doesn’t even consider that the other players might just eat the pieces to win. He strikes me as someone who completely overcomplicates things for no reason, and I felt that.
His idea of order is very different from what’s actually orderly. It just has to make sense to him, like ‘what do you mean it’s not orderly to have dead people lying around, trash everywhere, and debtors running around aimlessly in my house? Completely intentional. What’s not clicking?”. I felt that too. There is order to my chaos, and you don’t have to understand it. I get it.
He’s a cringy theater kid with a love for poetry too.
I too find it annoying when other people don’t follow the script I had in mind for the conversation.
Just human enough to understand how human interactions works, but either doesn’t give a shit or genuinely thinks that just spouting vaguely threatening poetry to strangers is a completely normal thing to do.
The obsession and ambition that just completely makes him lose the plot of everything else.
He is just so obsessed with everything being perfect to a point where it almost seems silly.
Acts like he doesn’t care, but actually cares A LOT about how other people perceive him.
I could honestly keep going but you get the picture.
(Thank you for the ask <3)

[In reference to this comic and more specifically this page. This is an AU where Gollum survives the War of the Ring]
you stepped on a land mine Gollum's speech patterns are interesting to me and I am using them intentionally but I'm assuming you don't want a whole 20-page dissertation about it. so I'll explain this, but I'll try to keep it brief
(Note: I'm only referencing the books for this post. All quoted sections are from The Two Towers by J.R.R Tolkien)
Anyway, Gollum does speak in the singular first person on occasion, and there's even a specific reason given that he does so:
`He lied on me, yes he did. I did escape, all by my poor self. Indeed I was told to seek for the Precious; and I have searched and searched, of course I have. But not for the Black One [Sauron]. The Precious was ours, it was mine I tell you. I did escape.' [...] [Frodo] noted that Gollum used I, and that seemed usually to be a sign, on its rare appearances. that some remnants of old truth and sincerity were for the moment on top.
That's the reason outright given by the text, and my own interpretation
~~we are now entering wobbly headcanon land~~
-is that Gollum also uses 'I' on occasions of stress or panic because [also my own interpretation, may be wrong] his unusual speech patterns are partly an intentional habit that he formed out of boredom because he was sitting in a cave for 500 years talking to himself. He can be shocked out of them, and he can also drop them when he's being serious.
Observe!
Yess. Yess. No! ' shrieked Gollum. 'Once, by accident it was, wasn't it, precious? Yes, by accident. But we won't go back, no, no!' Then suddenly his voice and language changed [He shifts to singular 1st person] `Leave me alone, gollum! You hurt me. O my poor hands, gollum! I, we, I don't want to come back. I can't find it. I am tired. I, we can't find it, gollum, gollum, no, nowhere. They're always awake.
As an aside, here he is swapping between 'I' and third-person. I've bolded/italicized to highlight the swaps
'Day is near,' he whispered, as if Day was something that might overhear him and spring on him. 'Sméagol will stay here: I will stay here, and the Yellow Face won't see me.' 'We should be glad to see the Sun;' said Frodo, 'but we will stay here: we are too tired to go any further at present.' 'You are not wise to be glad of the Yellow Face,' said Gollum. 'It shows you up. Nice sensible hobbits stay with Sméagol. Orcs and nasty things are about. They can see a long way. Stay and hide with me! '
Sméagol smells it! ' he said. 'Leaves out of the elf-country, gah! They stinks. He climbed in those trees, and he couldn't wash the smell off his hands, my nice hands.'
Now, to get back to why he is using first-person in the thing you actually asked about, the 'where am I', it's because he just woke up in a strange place and he's upset.
a moment later he realizes he is in a safe place with a safe person, stops panicking, and switches back to the more artificial speech pattern.
In general he will be using 'I' a little more often in the comic because this is post-canon and he's supposed to be improving/he's aware the 'we' is a little odd and off-putting and he's trying to cut back on it. the 'we' still slips out because it was such a long/ingrained habit.
you will also see:
Sméagol catching himself saying 'us' and clarifying that he actually does mean 'us'
Sméagol catching himself saying 'us,' correcting himself when he meant to say 'me'
The aim is 'Gollum is in an emotional/psychological/social situation he never encountered in canon. His speech patterns are known to shift depending on his state of mind, what he's communicating and who he's talking to. So he should in fact sound different four years post-war, but still be recognizably the same person (or else the appeal of the character is lost and i should consider original fic)'
So to answer your question:

Could you do headcannons of Alastor with a S/O who has weather related abilities? Like being able to summon storms and control wind?
Preferably they would also be a cat demon, but if that's too much then that's okay too.
-Indigo
Cat cat cat cat cat-oh yeah, sure.
Thrills And Chirps
Alastor X Cat Demon Reader Oneshot
Warnings? ⚠
⚠ thunderstorms, snuggles, mentions of death, cat stuff, so fluffy and cute you could suffocate from it and be happy ⚠
~
The storm outside was raging. Dark clouds covered the sky, only lit for a moment as lightning struck and the loud roar of thunder rolling in after. The winds were practically ripping roofs off of buildings.
It would be absolutely insane if anyone was out there.
Only one demon could cause such chaos.
The residents of the pride ring wondered what had angered them so to cause such a storm.
.
You were purring contently on the couch, snuggled up against your loving deer under a blanket in the living room. The fireplace lit and both of you were enjoying the sounds from the storm.
Another flash of lightning and Alastor's shadow wrote another tally mark on the chalkboard hung on the wall.
"Looks like you got another darling.", the man in red said not looking up from his book.
"Mhm~", you hummed and continued purring.
[As you can see, you aren't angry.]
It was really out of curiosity and a bit of entertainment. Your radio man wanted to know how many demons you could kill without lifting a finger. You agreed and asked for him to use his shadows to monitor the deaths caused by your storm.
With everything planned out, you sat back and decided to demand for attention.
And now you were lying on the couch, snuggled up on top of him.
He held the book in one hand as the other was busy with lightly scratching the back of your feline ears.
"Prrrrrrr~", a pleased rumble came from you as your purring increased in volume, tail swaying occasionally.
Alastor noticed that the hands resting on his chest started to move. Tearing his eyes away from his book and looking down, he saw that you were "making biscuits."
His eyes lit up and he tossed the book aside, no longer interested in the story and proceeded to pet you, this time with both hands.
Your purring increased tenfold, but you had to hold back from letting your claws out too much, not wanting to mess up your love's clothes.
"Hm~hmm-hmmmm~", Alastor hummed, static lacing his voice as he continued lightly scratching your scalp and behind your ears.
The purrs coming from you changed slightly when the static came on. It was a little deeper, and the vibrations were more noticeable.
For you, Alastor's static was another form of purring or growling. Depending on the volume, which was a comfortable low hum: it meant he was also content.
You let out a thrill between purring.
The Radio Demon's ears perk up at that, his smile widening.
All is forgotten about the death tolls and he focused on getting you to make that sound again, static crackling slightly.
"Prrrrrrrrrr-row! Prrrrrrrrrrrrr~"
It happens again and he beams with full on excitement.
Hearing the static crackle, you rubbed your head against his hands and let out another noise, a chirp.
"Mrrp!"
If the man wasn't already a cat person, you would have been enough to convert him into one.
You opened your eyes slightly and looked up at him, giving slow blinks.
Like any cat, you were hard to read, especially with a straight face. Thankfully he's kept tabs on the way you've reacted and one thing he learned from when he fed a cat when he was alive.
Slow blinks are a sign of trust and love.
His heart soars, but he keeps calm and does the action back, blinking slowly and bumping his forehead against yours.
"Prrrrrrrrrr~"
.
You could clearly kill a multiple amount of demons without needing to lift any fingers. Alastor would make sure you wouldn't have to anyway.
~
Snuggles and brain go purrrrrrrrrrrr~
I'll kick myself out now. 🚶..🏠
~Seline, the person.

Hello! It's me again. Thank you for answering my last ask.
I went and found some more voice lines. Sadly, I cannot screenshot the audio, but here's the English translations of the lines from Jack's dorm uniform, Rook's Halloween costume, Malleus' GloMas outfit, Kalim's New Year getup, Silver's Halloween costume, and Silver's Birthday Boy clothes. It's worth noting that Deuce calls Kalim "Asim-senpai" in the New Year's duo.
Hope this helps! (I only have the Jack, Malleus, and Rook shown here, the rest I got via the helper cards in Crafter's Gauntlet battles. lol.)
Hello hello, thank you so much!! I checked the audio on all of the above cards and with the exception of the usual removal of honorifics, the official translations on EN are all perfect! :>
Have put together an original dialogue/literal translation comparison just for fun, but they're all great as they are!
Jack's phrasing here is probably meant to be a wolf-based pun, as the word he is using (かます) both means to defeat a person/win a challenge in one go, and is also pronounced the same as the word 嚙ます, for "to bite."
So technically he is saying both "let's bite them" and "let's finish them off" simultaneously, which isn't really something that can be portrayed in English.
Ruggie's response of "熱くなっちゃって" is kind of Ruggie saying, "You always get so heated!" or "passionate" or "worked up."
The word "hade" (派手) comes up a lot with Kalim, but can be so difficult to express in English. It can be said as "flashy," "gaudy," etc. Basically, to go very big!
Deuce's response is the same on EN and is a word of encouragement (it is actually かます again, from Jack's Duo, as Deuce is encouraging Kalim to take out their opponent), but Deuce is also saying "please."
And then there is Deuce's use of last-name-senpai being changed to a first name without an honorific which, as you say, is worthy of note!
Deuce's way of expressing himself connects directly to his past violence and his present-day efforts to reform himself; an important part of the character that might just be impossible to translate into english. (More here!)
Malleus and Sebek's lines are both perfectly accurate on EN, although "-sama" has been removed from Sebek's dialogue.
The game has an interesting relationship with the "-sama" honorific. Sebek's "Malleus-sama" gets rewritten into "Housewarden Malleus" or dropped, while it is localized as "Mr.," "Master," "O Great," "O mighty" or "Count" with other characters.
Rook's Halloween Duo dialogue is perfectly accurate! Interestingly, while Trey and Riddle both have "roses" in their nicknames, Riddle's is pronounced as the English/French word "rose," while Trey's is pronounced as the Japanese word "bara" (薔薇).
(All of Rook's nicknames (including changes made between servers) can be found here!)
Silver's Halloween Duo is also perfectly accurate, with just the loss of "-senpai" from Silver.
Leona's line is a great example of how flexible the Japanese language is, depending so heavily on context as it does: technically all Leona is saying is the word "show," in a command form. He isn't specifying what it is that he wants Silver to show to him, so while we can infer that this would probably be "show me what you've got" or "show me how it's done," etc, in English, he could technically also be saying "show me what's in your hands" or "show me what you're hiding," etc.
(If you've ever wondered how some translations can vary so wildly between sources, this is part of why!)
Silver's Birthday Duo is also perfectly accurate, missing only the "-kun" from Ruggie.
Unlike Cater, who also uses honorifics in 100% of his dialogue (except with Trey in important situations), when Leona overblots Ruggie doesn't shift to calling him by name: he calls him a casual form of "you," which is equally fascinating. (More here)
Also, combined the above screenshots with their corresponding audio for reference, here!

Okay hear me out so I was watching the “Hazbin Hotel” series that is streaming on prime video and as I was watching the show I got to thinking? What is the? LOV had a S/O whose quirk is similar to Alastor the radio demon from Hazbin Hotel (S/O has a regular voice, but only uses Alistair radio voice only for show)
and the first time they fought against the heroes or the MLA (re-Destro’s army) and they saw S/O’s transform into there, demon form (because that’s part of their quirk) and the LOV were like “that is terrifying, but also amazing at the same time!” And it made them fall even more in love with their S/O😅
I haven't watched this show to be honest. I remember only seeing the original (which I think is the pilot?) way back a few years on YouTube. I'm hearing the pilot I saw wasn't even canon but whatever, it's all I got to go by haha. From what I can remember, he seemed to be super strong and creepy but also pretty funny here and there. I see things on social media about the show but it's mostly videos of the songs and cosplays. Anyway, wish me luck because I did no further research for this and I'm sorry lol)
headcanon|scenario|imagine|match-up|drabble
-Impressed but a little scared: Surely Compress will tell you outright after witnessing you in action, that he's impressed (and whispers that he's a little scared). Up until this point you probably didn't display the full ability of your quirk. You never felt the need to and (yes, I'm capping your power) after using it you need to recharge for some days and possibly a week or so. It was a 'use fully only when needed' kind of power. He's not sleeping with one eye open, but he knows if you ever for whatever reason decided to do so that you could eliminate him and everyone around him. The danger never scared him too much. Twice knows you won't hurt him, but he also is careful not to step out of line. It's not like you don't love him as much as he does you...it's just that if one day you decided to turn against the villains then he knows he wouldn't be safe. This is BEFORE he harnessed his ability. Afterward he's a little more secure. Also is more than impressed and proud of you!
-In complete awe: (and yes I know Kurogiri wasn't available for the battle but if he were then you'd get a lot of praise from him) Spinner would have a small jaw-drop moment when he'd seen you pull your power out. He probably didn't know it could be so intimidating! He probably feels a small swell in his chest thinking of the bit of pride he has for you already increasing by the day. Then again, Spinner is proud of you for anything you do no matter what. Also in complete would likely be Magne too. She's going to be your biggest fan even if you were quirkless, but she assumed the opposite considering your voice changing on a whim. Feel bad for everyone else having to listen to her brag about you on a daily basis!
-Doesn't care and means it: No offense but Dabi likely doesn't care all that much. I mean, yeah he's slightly impressed but you won't see him fanboying over you or anything. However, your ability does make him take a second to look over his own. Perhaps he'll ask you to go toe to toe with him one of these days. Just be easy on him! Muscular is more along the lines of 'it aint shit unless you can beat me in a fight with it'. He challenges you just about everyday. He's pretty cocky to be honest. Refuses to admit you could possibly be stronger than him even if it's true. Not to be rude or anything but Moonfish doesn't care what your ability is or is not. All he really cares about it you. Which could both be an 'awe' or 'oh...' moment depending on who you are as a person. He doesn't mean anything negative by it! Just doesn't care is all.
-ACTS like they don't care but actually does: Shigaraki would pretend as much as he wants to but everyone knows he's rather amazed by you. He's always been this way with everything in the relationship concerning you. He's not all that open with you when it comes to how he feels. It's not till later in the relationship that he ends up opening more and more for you. So at the beginning "Yeah it's kind of cool I suppose but it really doesn't concern me in the least bit what power you have. It's about how you use it to benefit us and our organization." Then later it transforms into you being his heavy hitter on the team. He's conflicted between putting you on the frontlines because of your power and wanting to keep you safe near him instead.

Wriothesley SFW Alphabet
A = Affection (How affectionate are they? How do they show affection?)
Behind closed doors, Wriothesley is incredibly cuddly. Since he's wrapped up in his work most of the time he takes every hug and kiss he can get. He has a weakness for love bites, giving and receiving. Another thing he goes crazy for is sitting you on his lap
B = Best friend (What would they be like as a best friend? How would the friendship start?)
Wriothesley finds it hard to make friends, unable to just let himself trust people. As a best friend he will do what he can to make life easy for you or help you with whatever you need. He's dependable and reliable. Also, he's an amazing listener
C = Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?)
Many many many cuddles. Hugs, forehead kisses, nips at your neck, spooning. He will cram as much physical affection as he can into a small amount of time, since he's so busy
D = Domestic (Do they want to settle down? How are they at cooking and cleaning?)
While his childhood did prevent him from being able to trust people and form long lasting bonds he still does fantasize about getting married. He likes the idea of starting a family and giving his children the kind of love and support they deserve. He's not a good cook but he likes to keep a clean house.
E = Ending (If they had to break up with their partner, how would they do it?)
He would take you out, somewhere nice. It's almost like a last chance date. He will take you on a date with the intention to break up with you calmly at the end but it's possible you may say or do something that changes his mind. He's hoping that happens. He's hoping for the best.
F = Fiance(e) (How do they feel about commitment? How quick would they want to get married?)
It would take a long time before Wriothesley felt comfortable about settling down. While he does want to get married he doesn't want to get divorced. He has to make sure this is the real deal.
G = Gentle (How gentle are they, both physically and emotionally?)
Emotionally, it's going to be hard to get him to open up in the early stages of your relationship. Physically, he is all over you. Every bit of physical affection he can get he's , he's practically drowning it in and he loves it .
H = Hugs (Do they like hugs? How often do they do it? What are their hugs like?)
So many hugs all the time. His hugs are tight, they could break your back if you don't warn him. They also last a while because he just can't bear to end this bliss.. just a few more minutes
I = I love you (How fast do they say the L-word?)
Despite how long it will take him to decide to marry, Wriothesley can fall in love relatively fast. His heart aches for someone to share his life with. He's a bit of a hopeless romantic. He will date and the L word will pass his lips sooner than even he expected. He wants that, he really does.
J = Jealousy (How jealous do they get? What do they do when they’re jealous?)
He has a stoic and silent jealousy. Wriothesley won't voice his jealousy but... What if you like that guy more? What if that guy has more free time?! Wriothesley will never let you know he's doubting himself and unless you've been together for a long time you may never pick up on his jealousy... Unless the person he's jealous of meets him face to face. Wriothesley is surprisingly scathing and sassy.
"Oh, you must be Wriothesley! Your S/o talks about you a lot"
"Funny, they don't talk about you at all"
Like damn, Wriothesley.
K = Kisses (What are their kisses like? Where do they like to kiss you? Where do they like to be kissed?)
His favorite place to pepper with kisses is your neck. Peoples necks tend to be more sensitive which gives him all those little giggles he loves so much. He actually really likes when you kiss his ears. His ears are crazy sensitive. He loves giving you hundreds of little kisses, but isn't opposed to long hot make outs, if you desire
L = Little ones (How are they around children?)
Wriothesley is very gentle and comfortable around kids. He remembers what it was like to be a child, a skill it seems a lot of people lose when they get older and have responsibilities. Kids tend to be afraid of him which does slightly chip away at him. Hopefully, one day, his own kids won't be afraid of him.
M = Morning (How are mornings spent with them?)
Mornings don't last long. He has to get to work. He will wake up a little earlier than necessary just to be able to lie awake in bed with his beloved.
N = Night (How are nights spent with them?)
When night falls and work is done and Wriothesley can relax he is excited. His battery slowly drains all day but just one kiss from you fuels him up entirely. It's here that he gets all the cuddles and kisses he needs to function
O = Open (When would they start revealing things about themselves? Do they say everything all at once or wait a while to reveal things slowly?)
Wriothesley slow drips little bits of info about himself if you've been dating for a few years. However, all the important things you need to know will be dropped all at once. His past is something he needs you to know and while he is afraid it will be the breaking point of your relationship he knows it must be done. He will be beyond relieved if you accept him for who is has become.
P = Patience (How easily angered are they?)
Insurmountably Patient. The man is a saint his anger very rarely rears its head.
Q = Quizzes (How much would they remember about you? Do they remember every little detail you mention in passing, or do they kind of forget everything?)
Wriothesley is only human and is capable of forgetting things but he will NEVER forget anything about you. Birthday? Favorite foods? Favorite joke? He will remember it all.
R = Remember (What is their favorite moment in your relationship?)
His favorite memory will change the longer your relationship goes on. In the beginning nothing will be more magical than how you met. Then your wedding will be the greatest day. Then the birth of your first child. These will always be the top 3 memories
S = Security (How protective are they? How would they protect you? How would they like to be protected?)
He Protecc He Attacc but most importantly he will always have your back. Wriothesley is absurdly protective of you, especially if you have children. He needs to keep you safe, you're the lynchpin of the family. He will take absolutely NO disrespect about you. You're the jewel in his crown and as far as he's concerned you should always be priority
T = Try (How much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?)
Wriothesley gives you 110% for absolutely everything. Every date is perfectly planned, he will never forget an anniversary and if you like gifts he'll make sure to send them often. He also has a soft spot for sending love letters to you.
U = Ugly (What would be some bad habits of theirs?)
The Duke has a small gambling problem. Nothing major, he isn't risking thousands of mora on high stakes betting but he doesn't like how much low stakes betting he does. He believes that this problem could potentially become a bigger one if left unchecked. He also has a tendency to ignore health issues of his. He s had a persistent pain in his side all week but uuhh... He's too busy to get it checked out right now.
V = Vanity (How concerned are they with their looks?)
Not really worried about his looks... Though he did wish children found him less scary
W = Whole (Would they feel incomplete without you?)
Once he finds 'the one' he would feel so lost without you by his side.
X = Xtra (A random headcanon for them.)
Sometimes he will trace his scars with his finger, remembering where each one came from vividly
Y = Yuck (What are some things they wouldn’t like, either in general or in a partner?)
He has zero tolerance for someone hurting other people. Physically or Emotionally but he is VERY sensitive to emotional abuse. It drives him crazy to see it because emotional abuse can be so subtle that sometimes people don't even register it. He will go out of his way to give that person a better example of how they should be treated
Z = Zzz (What is a sleep habits of theirs?)
Wriothesley sleeps very sparingly. When single, he'll take brief naps in his office a few times a day. When dating or married he will sleep every night with his S/O but won't ever sleep more than 5 hours. He has work to do. He needs more sleep.

J.4.3 Are the new social movements a positive development for anarchists?
When assessing the revolutionary potential of our own era, we must note again that modern civilisation is under constant pressure from the potential catastrophes of social breakdown, ecological destruction, and proliferating weapons of mass destruction. These crises have drawn attention as never before to the inherently counter-evolutionary nature of the authoritarian paradigm, making more and more people aware that the human race is headed for extinction if it persists in outmoded forms of thought and behaviour. This awareness produces a favourable climate for the reception of new ideas, and thus an opening for radical educational efforts aimed at creating the mass transformation of consciousness which must take place alongside the creation of new liberatory institutions.
This receptiveness to new ideas has led to a number of new social movements in recent years. From the point of view of anarchism, the four most important of these are perhaps the feminist, ecology, peace, and social justice movements. Each of these movements contain a great deal of anarchist content, particularly insofar as they imply the need for decentralisation and direct democracy. Since we have already commented on the anarchist aspects of the ecology and feminist movements, here we will limit our remarks to the peace and social justice movements.
It is clear to many members of the peace movement that international disarmament, like the liberation of women, saving the planet’s ecosystem, and preventing social breakdown, can never be attained without a shift of mass consciousness involving widespread rejection of hierarchy, which is based on the authoritarian principles of domination and exploitation. As C. George Bennello argued: “Since peace involves the positive process of replacing violence by other means of settling conflict … it can be argued that some sort of institutional change is necessary. For if insurgency is satisfied with specific reform goals, and does not seek to transform the institutional structure of society by getting at its centralised make-up, the war system will probably not go away. This is really what we should mean by decentralising: making institutions serve human ends again by getting humans to be responsible at every level within them.” [From the Ground Up, p. 31]
When pursued along gender, class, racial, ethnic, or national lines, domination and exploitation are the primary causes of resentment, hatred, anger, and hostility, which often explode into individual or organised violence. Given this, both domestic and international peace depend on decentralisation, i.e. dismantling hierarchies, thus replacing domination and exploitation by the anarchist principles of co-operation and mutual aid.
Direct democracy is the other side of decentralisation. In order for an organisation to spread power horizontally rather than concentrating it at the apex of a hierarchy, all of its members have to have an equal voice in making the decisions that affect them. Hence decentralisation implies self-management. So, anarchists argue, the peace movement implies anarchism because world peace is impossible without both decentralisation and direct democracy (“a federated people would be a people organised for peace; what would they do with armies?” [Proudhon, Du Principe Fédératif, pp. 320–1]). As Benello correctly argued, the “anarchist perspective has an unparalleled relevance today because prevailing nuclear policies can be considered as an ultimate stage in the divergence between the interests of governments and their peoples . .. the implications when revealed serve to raise fundamental questions regarding the advisability of entrusting governments with questions of life and death … There is thus a pressing impetus to re-think the role, scale, and structure of national governments.” Moreover, ”[s]o long as profits are tied to defence production, speaking truth to the elites involved is not likely to get very far” as “it is only within the boundaries of the profit system that the corporate elites would have any space to move.” [Op. Cit., p. 138 and p. 34] Thus the peace movement implicitly contains a libertarian critique of both forms of the power system — the political and economical.
In addition, certain of the practical aspects of the peace movement also suggest anarchistic elements. The use of non-violent direct action to protest against the war machine can only be viewed as a positive development by anarchists. Not only does it use effective, anarchistic methods of struggle it also radicalises those involved, making them more receptive to anarchist ideas and analysis.
If we look at the implications of “nuclear free zones” we can detect anarchistic tendencies within them. A nuclear free zone involves a town or region declaring an end of its association with the nuclear military industrial complex. They prohibit the research, production, transportation and deployment of nuclear weapons as well as renouncing the right to be defended by nuclear power. This movement was popular in the 1980s, with many areas in Europe and the Pacific Basin declaring that they were nuclear free zones. As Benello pointed out, ”[t]he development of campaigns for nuclear free zones suggests a strategy which can educate and radicalise local communities. Indeed, by extending the logic of the nuclear free zone idea, we can begin to flesh out a libertarian municipalist perspective which can help move our communities several steps towards autonomy from both the central government and the existing corporate system.” While the later development of these initiatives did not have the radicalising effects that Benello hoped for, they did “represent a local initiative that does not depend on the federal government for action. Thus it is a step toward local empowerment … Steps that increase local autonomy change the power relations between the centre and its colonies … The nuclear free zone movement has a thrust which is clearly congruent with anarchist ideas … The same motives which go into the declaration of a nuclear free zone would dictate that in other areas where the state and the corporate systems services are dysfunctional and involve excessive costs, they should be dispensed with.” [Op. Cit., p. 137 and pp. 140–1]
The social justice movement is composed of people seeking fair and compassionate solutions to problems such as poverty, unemployment, economic exploitation, discrimination, poor housing, lack of health insurance, wealth and income inequalities, and the like. In the aftermath of decades of especially single-minded pursuit of this priority by neo-liberal administrations, the United States, for example, is reaping the grim harvest: wages stagnate, personal debt soars, homelessness stalks the streets; social welfare budgets are slashed to the bone while poverty, unemployment, and underemployment grow; sweatshops mushrooming in the large cities; millions of Americans without any health insurance while others face rocketing costs; obscene wealth inequalities and falling social mobility; and so on. Britain under the neo-liberal policies of Thatcher, Major and Blair experienced a social deterioration similar to that in the US.
It is not difficult to show that the major problems concerning the social justice movement can all be traced back to the hierarchy and domination. For, given the purpose of hierarchy, the highest priority of the elites who control the state is necessarily to maintain their own power and privileges, regardless of the suffering involved for subordinate classes.
In short, social injustice is inherent in the exploitative functions of the state, which are made possible by the authoritarian form of state institutions. Similarly, the authoritarian structure of capitalist companies gives rise to social injustice due to exploitation producing massive income differentials and wealth disparity between owners/management and labour. Hence the success of the social justice movement, like that of the feminist, ecology, and peace movements, depends on dismantling hierarchies. This means not only that these movements all imply anarchism but that they are related in such a way that it is impossible to conceive one of them achieving its goals in isolation from any of the others. To take just one example, let us consider the relationship between social justice and peace, which can be seen by examining a specific social justice issue: labour rights.
The production of advanced weapons systems is highly profitable for capitalists, which is why more technologically complex and precise weapons keep getting built with government help (with the public paying the tab by way of taxes). Now, we may reasonably argue that it is a fundamental human right to be able to choose freely whether or not one will personally contribute to the production of technologies that could lead to the extinction of the human race. Yet because of the authoritarian form of the capitalist corporation, rank-and-file workers have virtually no say in whether the companies for which they work will produce such technologies. (To the objection that workers can always quit if they don’t like company policy, the reply is that they may not be able to find other work and therefore that the choice is not genuinely free). Hence the only way that ordinary workers can obtain the right to be consulted on life-or-death company policies is to control the production process themselves, through self-management as production for need and use will never come from the employer. The owners of production in a capitalist society will never begin to take social priorities into account in the production process. The pursuit of ever greater profits is not compatible with social justice and responsibility.
For these reasons, the peace and social justice movements are fundamentally linked through their shared need for a worker-controlled economy. Moreover, extreme poverty makes military service one of the few legal options open for many individuals to improve their social situation. These considerations illustrate further links between the peace and social justice movements — and between those movements and anarchism, which is the conceptual “glue” that can potentially unite all the new social movement in a single anti-authoritarian coalition.

next up in my ffvii character pokemon teams is reeve. he's just a normal businessman nothing to see here
as always, details below
ok first of all, I just think this is hilarious: I did not edit this sprite at all. this is just straight up a clerk from gen v. suit and tie? check. dark hair? check. running on not enough sleep and far too much caffeine? check. no changes needed
species: banette
ability: cursed body
item: spell tag
moves: poltergeist, facade, role play, destiny bond
ok so some Deep Lore about reeve is that he can control cait sith because he is an "inspire." to my knowledge this is only ever mentioned in supplemental material and there is not much detail at all on how this works or how common it is or... anything. wondering if they will address this in remake part 3.
banette is a marionette pokemon. now I know what you're gonna say. when you think about ffvii and puppets, reeve is NOT the character who comes to mind. I initially considered golurk or golem for a pokemon named inspire because a golem is a perfect fit as a being animated from inorganic matter. BUT neither of them really have movesets that are fitting, so I went with banette instead.
facade and role play represent how reeve hides his identity behind cait sith and acts very differently than he does irl. destiny bond I guess is because it doesn't super matter if cait sith dies because reeve can send a new one
species: persian (alolan form)
ability: fur coat
item: loaded dice
moves: foul play, fury swipes, switcheroo, parting shot
here he is. the little guy himself. I chose alolan persian because he's got a bit of a dark side, and also because he looks a lil silly with his round noggin and big kitty cheeks. the ability fur coat is just because he's a cat, I didn't consider what it actually does at all lol.
the loaded dice item is a reference to his dice limit break in og as well as his roll o the dice ability in rebirth (which I assume is based on the og limit break anyway). in general many of cait sith's abilities and attacks are rng-dependent.
fury swipes is just a move that works well with the loaded dice, but fits the cat theme too. I chose foul play and switcheroo because of cait's shenanigans with the keystone
species: clefable
ability: magic guard
item: sticky barb
moves: moonblast, metronome, misty explosion, trick
clefable is much cuter than cait sith's moogle, but it's a chunkier fairy with lil wings on its back so I liked it for this.
the sticky barb is not super specifically linked to anything in particular, but cait sith has a bunch of tricks up his sleeve so it seemed like something he'd do.
metronome is another nod to how much cait sith's moves depend on rng, and you could even say it specifically represents his moogle magic ability in rebirth, where he uses an ability from his equipped summon. I chose misty explosion due to the moogle kaboom ability, where the moogle just fucking explodes when it leaves. trick is another nod to cait sith stealing the keystone
species: exploud
ability: scrappy
item: throat spray
moves: boomburst, uproar, disarming voice, roar
hp shout is cait sith's ultimate weapon in ffvii, although really I chose exploud more generally because all of cait sith's weapons are megaphones. the item and moves are all sound-based. not much to it other than that tbh
species: conkeldurr
ability: guts
item: flame orb
moves: facade, hammer arm, brick break, bulldoze
if anyone saw the name of this conkeldurr and had a fight or flight response, never fear - I'm not bringing gackt into this. yet. the world regenesis organization is basically the government or whatever that steps in after the events of ffvii when shinra is pretty much toast. and reeve is in charge. conkeldurr is kinda weird, but I chose it both because the wro is working to rebuild after meteor and because reeve was the director of urban planning in shinra.
the move facade is similar to the theme I went with for some of his other pokemon, since reeve kinda hides behind cait sith for a lot of his taking action. the other three moves are just based on construction-related tools, materials, and activities
species: blacephalon
ability: beast boost
item: air balloon
moves: mind blown, shadow ball, psyshock, trick
the gold saucer is cait sith's stomping grounds. blacephalon is just a silly little guy and a clown, which seemed fitting for an amusement park. he's carrying around a balloon for a similar reason. the balloons in the gold saucer in rebirth are so freakin cute.
mind blown could be based on the fireworks at the gold saucer, but I could also point to the moogle kaboom ability again, just for fun. trick again for more item snatching.
next up should be vincent. in the meantime, other characters are found here

Old Mondstadt hcs
I recently reread the biography of Gunnhildr so now I'm thinking about how that slots into my existing order of meeting for the Old Mond Gang hcs perhaps (also a bunch of general hcs bc I think about them a Normal Amount, this got l o n g)
These are also the hcs used in this small bit of writing I did!
Nameless Bard (and Venti!):
Rebellions take a damn while to happen! And I like the idea of Venti and the bard having more time to get close and form bonds. So Venti's "I met a boy not that old" in Boy and the Whirlwind is referencing when they first met (I like to think when the bard was maybe 16+?) and the bard would die at 19+ during the rebellion
They met either by Wispti flying smack into the bard's face while searching for the faint song in the wind or by nb catching a wisp stealing his apples lol
They are the closest within the group and have known one another the longest
Venti is actually the name given to the wisp by the bard, and thus the name that Venti prefers to use (alternatively the bard's name was Venti and Barbatos is pulling a Stanley I'm down for both hcs tbh)
The bard is the more chaotic one actually! Venti had his own level of chaos but the bard made it worse (affectionate)
Nameless Bard is the one that sparked the rebellion so obviously he's the first to join the gang
He was already singing about change I think, but his voice was never enough to be heard above the storms.
Venti carrying his tunes with the wind so that he could finally be heard over the storm gave him hope
The little wisp's stories of the outside renewed his ambition and made him yearn for the sky
The bard taught Venti the importance of freedom, to dream and fight for it. But Venti also inspired him, and gave him the hope to fight (THEY CARE ABOUT EACH OTHER SM YOUR HONOUR)
Despite how much I brainrot about NB I don't actually have an exact idea of how he died. My current thought is that he was shot by redirected arrows. As a wisp of the wind Venti had been helping during the battle by guiding the arrows to their mark. But he was but a wisp and Decarabian was a god. They could not stop everything.
But since he also climbed the tower with the rest of the gang (Amos Bow description) maybe the arrows were blasted back by the force of Decarabian's death instead?
Also does he get to see the sky with his dying breath at least? Or did he not even get that? Who knows depends on how angsty I'm feeling ig
Red Haired Warrior/Sir Ragnvindr
NB frequently plays at a small tavern in the city bc at least indoors he had a slightly higher chance of being heard
And heard he was, by a certain red haired bartender that sort of wandered into the city, couldn't get out and then set up said tavern (the Freedom Sworn description refers to him as a flame-haired wanderer)
The tavern later expands into the Dawn Winery of today thanks to the availability of trade post rebellion. The name Angel's Share was coined later. It was a nod to an old friend, one who the warrior was no longer close to but still held fond memories for none the less.
But back to the pre rebellion days! Ragnvindr was the first to believe in the wisp and the bard, and it was he who helped to fan the flames of revolt. He passed out the first windblumes, a code word created by his bard friend, and recruited more to their cause.
He came to care for both of them, but never truly saw the wisp as they're own "person"
Perhaps that was why he was so upset when the wind spirit took the form of the young boy he had watched grow and die too soon?
Either way he turns his back on the god, leaving immense emotional damage in his wake
He does cool down eventually, and comes to regret his words, just a little. So comes tales of a red haired wanderer, spreading the word of the anemo archon. A silent apology to the wind.
He eventually returns to Mond. But by that time Venti had already left to see the world on the bard's behalf. (left so he wouldn't hurt mond like he hurt ragnvindr)
Lady Amos
Ah Lady Amos. I feel like they'd be wary of her at first because of the chance that she'd tell Decarabian of their plans.
As Decarabian's lover though, she likely also had some authority
I feel like she either caught wind of the rebellion anyway and offered her valuable knowledge to gain their trust bc by then she had grew disillusioned with Decarabian too
or the funnier option (and the one I'm a bit more biased towards): nb is a rebellious little lad that sings of rebellion and overthrowing the king, possibly leading to a music ban of some kind. Guy lands himself in jail and meets Amos herself who lets him go. They do this song and dance a few times and the bard manages to charm the Lady with his determination and charisma and his cute little elf friend. (also his chaotic whimsy)
Big Sister Amos has joined the found family!!!
SHe acted as an informant because of her closeness to Decarabian but also hoped to reason with him and looked for solutions that didn't end in death. (she failed)
She taught the Bard to wield a bow (bc I think Windblume Ode was his) and Venti took up archery in her honour
She and the rest of the gang scaled the tower together (from Amos Bow description), but Amos was the one that dealt the final blow
Perhaps she had gone ahead to try and reason with him one last time, maybe the others stopped because NB got shot and she went ahead full of resentment, perhaps the wisp and Gunnhildr could only protect so many people. Regardless the result is the same. She looked the storm in the eye and shot the arrow that ended the tyrant's reign. But with his death she and the tower fell too.
Knight Gunnhildr
Okay so. According to the Biography of Gunnhildr the Gunnhildr clan used to live within the storm walls, but left after becoming disillusioned by Decarabian's rule. How did you get out???? Huh????
For now I'm going with the explanation that maybe the walls were strengthened soon after the clan left (and came back?) bc of said leaving but if someone has a better theory please lemme know
Anyway the clan finds a way out somehow and then proceed to start freezing in the blizzard rip.
As a wisp of the wind, Venti can move in and out of the storm walls (this is also how he got those eagle feathers he never managed to give the bard in his character story 4)
On one such trip to look for stuff for either nb or the resistance, he hears the prayers of the Gunnhildr clan, and above all Gunnhildr's faith
Dang their faith was strong enough to give him powers and using those powers they blessed Gunnhildr "with the power to protect"
This is part of the reason why I think she (and Venti) may have played a part in maybe shielding the red haired warrior from the worst of the blast when Decarabian fell but wasn't strong enough to save Amos and the Bard
With Venti's help, the clan makes it's way back within the walls and she becomes the last to join the gang
Though she's the last to join she's also the last one that stayed.
The bard and the archer perished, the warrior left to wander. And even her god friend departed after reshaping the land.
But she remained, from newcomer to constant and a pillar of support for the newly ascended Barbatos (as he was for her in return)
She was hesitant to let him leave, knowing the impact Ragnvindr left on them, but also knew that Barbatos did not want to rule and had been overworking himself to try and do right by the ideals of the bard. Seeing the world could be good for her old friend. He visits often and sends her messages by the Dandelion hotline so it's all good.
Then she hears of the Red Haired Wanderer, spreading word of the new god. She understands quickly, the meaning behind this, and when the warrior returns she meets him with silent understanding.
Gunnhildr was always a bit more quiet and hesitant because she was the last to join the group (+ she had more of a formal worship relationship with venti bc he saved her clan that the wisp wasn't the biggest fan of)
But she and Venti grew a lot closer as the two left in the group
She also got the other two to finally fucking talk (no diluc kaeya lack of communication here on her watch)
They were never as close as they used to be, and things were never the same. But Gunnhildr is nothing if not hopeful and faithful. And they do reconcile to an extent.
She was Venti's guide to being a person. They had learnt much from the bard in the years they knew one another but getting used to a whole new form was hard, getting used to human emotion was hard, grief was so, so hard.
And the immortal experience of realising that you'll outlive everyone in the end... that was hard too.
Gunnhildr was there for him in all those aspects. But she was only mortal and though she was the last to stay, Venti was still the last one left.
She also has a hair clip that kind of matches Amos' hair feathers which I think is cute <3 (keeping my hcs platonic for the most part bc I'm not really into ships but do what you will with this info)
Oh w o w this got long this will be quick I said I just have to expand a little on the general timeline I said
Anyway I hope you enjoy my brainrot rambles lol

Khusammish Sounds
so nothing here is final (even the language name) but here's ome of what I've been working on for my smallfolk/borrower language, attempt 2. a little self-conscious about having another one that starts with a k but I randomized my roots and the name is basically just smallfolkish. anyway.
Unlike with Kíkítok, I didn't want to make it "sound" small or whispery, so I didn't restrict what sorts of sounds were available to me. I decided to go with a four-way plosive voicing distinction like what you find in a lot of languages on the Indian subcontinent because...I think it's neat? There's also a length distinction made on both vowels and (intervocalic) consonants.
This is an incomplete spelling chart that I can't figure out how to nicely work into a tumblr post. Vowels that are doubled keep the same sound but are held slightly longer. (ie, something like chooba still uses the same o sound as in cone, not the u sound in boon)
IPA Consonant Inventory
For those who don't know, consonants are pronounced with a puff of air. English does this, although not in a way that native speakers tend to notice. When a word starts with a p, for example, we aspirate the p. When a p is clustered with another consonant, like in aptly or spin, we don't. In this language, the difference between those two 'p' sounds is contrastive and can change the meaning of a word. (I know that technically voiced consonants become breathy not aspirated but it's easier to just refer to them all as aspirated for simplicity's sake as they behave similarly.)
f, v, θ, ð, x, and ɣ are in parentheses because traditionally they're allophones, alternate forms, of pʰ, bʱ, tʰ, dʱ, kʰ, and gʱ respectively. when an aspirated consonant comes between two vowels, it softens into its fricative form. However, as I get past the root stage, they'll also show up in loanwords and most speakers would just use the English pronunciation of the letter.
The language uses 7 vowels and I'll probably add diphthongs later (because I'm a greedy English speaker who wants all the vowels ever). Right now, I'm just working on the roots which only use five of the seven vowels: a, e, i, o, u, like those in Spanish. Loanwords will introduce ɛ (as in bet) and ɔ (potentially as in caught, depending on your accent) and I'm planning on letting them become full phonemes.
Syllable structure is....my least favorite thing to work out... but it's roughly (S)C(r)V(C), I think? where S is an alveolar fricative, r is r, and of course C is a consonant and V is a vowel. Right now I'm only ending syllables in plosives and nasals, but I don't know that I'll stick to that yet. 🤷
Stress is not phonemic and also not particularly prominent. The light stress that does appear will fall on the first "heavy" syllable, one that has a doubled vowel and/or ends with a consonant. If there's no heavy syllable, the stress lands on the final syllable.
i don't have a good ending to the post, but I think that's most of what I have to say about the sounds for now :)
#g/t#is it fine if I tag this g/t even tho it's only worldbuilding related and only sorta#stsw lang#clong

anyway i’m making a ship of pirate ocs so far i’m rattling around captain annie read of “the arc”, maybe, and her first mate / lover circe the fuckass huge killer whale mermaid. annie read has the… “fur fur fruit”, maybe? if she wants it too, she can turn people who made contact with her [coughs] bodily fluids into animals that match their personalities, for variable periods of time. kissing obviously works— but in practice, she’s more often been known to sneak aboard enemy ships and spit in their booze. blood is more concentrated and effective, technically. pretty unsanitary though. lol. effect will range from anywhere between 5 minutes to an hour depending on the circumstances. …if you die in the form of an animal, you don’t change back. ………her crew always has a lot of fresh meat.
circe flat out eats humans anyway, but the variety is appreciated. she also refuses to wear any sort of clothing or bow to social norms. when she was younger, she’d been forced to sing, and now as an adult her voice is a bit— strange? angry, but… supernaturally mesmerizing.
her and annie are ~29 and want circe’s legs to split SO BAD because annie can’t swim and her beautiful mermaid wife is RIGHT THERE…. 🥺….
second mate saavy o. malley, otherwise known as “mal”. also fuckoff huge and getting on in her years, she’s an experienced pirate and navigator who avoids garps territory like the plague because she may or may not have fucked luffy’s grandma once. don’t worry about it. has a tendency to skate unharmed out of big historical events she’s tertiary too because she does not matter at all. her previous crew broke up because of polycule drama at the start of the grand line; but that was already her second or third ship. she has no particular ambition, to be honest, she’s just good at doing what she does (charting courses and cracking heads).
the ship’s cook is a young, uncomfortably intense but polite gay man named abel. honestly, annie’s crew doesn’t have a discriminatory hiring policy, but they kill recruits who don’t behave themselves and a lot of guys wound up scared off by the “scary woman ambiguous people eating” thing anyway so… not abel! to be honest he seems to have been extremely excited about the soylent green thing to begin with. is his name short for something….? ah, well.
….i need more pirates to round out the crew
annie knows what shanks fursona is now and the whole situation was so unspeakably embarrassing he won’t willingly bring it up.

Kinktober 2023 Day 12- Costumes
The Owl House-Lumity
On the eve of Halloween, Luz and Amity get really involved in playing their characters, and it leads them to new discoveries
written by @kinktober2023
requested by anon on tumblr
Warning the following story contains fictional minors in sexual situations. If this makes you uncomfortable or are under 18 please do not read. This story is rated E for explicit and is for adults only. This story is a complete work of fiction.
It was the night before Halloween, and Luz was putting the finishing touches on her Halloween costume. Amity had suggested an Aurza and Hecate theme custom and damn it was such a good idea, even with her down attitude that Luz said yes.
She was seeing how the hat would work with the green wig. She turned her head and neither the hat or wig fell off. The 14-year-old was standing in her (now) shared bedroom; looking over her costume in front of a full body mirror.
Willow’s head popped in. “She’s decent.” It was difficult to share a single room between four teens without everyone seeing a bit of T&A. It wasn’t such a big deal save for the couple, who tried to preserve their privacy with each other. Sure enough after Willow’s head went back in, Amity shuffled in. Luz’s throat went dry. Man, Amity looked beautiful dressed as Hecate. She seemed to have other opinions.
“This is a disaster!”
“Amity, what's wrong? Your costume looks amazing! And so book accurate.”
“Book accurate? Book accurate?! Luz I only have one face! Hecate has two. It’s her thing! I look like a poser.”
“Well maybe we could make something-”
“Already tried. I used a paper plate but I couldn’t keep it on my face.”
“Maybe Gus could…”
“That requires too much concentration and I don’t want him to miss a new human holiday.”
“Hmm, that is quite a pickle. Does it matter? Amity, your costume is incredible; second face or no.” Amity could only sigh. Luz racked her brain. “Hecate. How dare you say something so awful about my true love.” Remembering how the scene went in the book, she took Amity’s hand. “Your eyes sparkle like the greatest stars in the night sky. Your voice is merrier than the most musical of bells. And your lips are sweeter than the rippest of fruit.” Her face was inches from Amity’s.
“So we’re doing that scene?”
Luz blushed and pulled away embarrassed. The scene she was quoting was rather infamous in the Azura fandom. It’s from book five, where Azura says this to Hecate and they kiss… and the book jumps to the next chapter, where it is morning and the two characters are in bed together. It is about as risque as a 6-11 year old targeted series could get. It had become quite the meme.
“No, this isn’t wasn’t I-”
Amity took Luz’s hand. “Azura, you are the bravest, cleverest, and the most beautiful witch to walk this land. My heart is yours.” Their lips melted together in a burst of passion. Amity’s hands groped Luz’s chest while Luz’s hands explored Amity’s backside. The kiss broke. “Are we doing this?” Amity asked.
“I’m game if you are Blight.”
The teens resumed kissing. Carefully, they removed each other's clothes as they didn’t want to damage each other's Halloween costumes. It was the most care any 14-year-olds ever had when undressing each other. This was the first time Luz and Amity really had a chance to see each other’s bodies. While staying in the Noceda’s home, they had been some awkward moments of walking into the bedroom while changing but Luz and Amity did their best that those remain accidental and quick peeks. Never before had they drunk in each other's forms.
Luz’s brown skin was complemented by black nipples, both of which were hard against her small breasts. Luz was never much for grooming, and her bush was rather noticeable nude. Amity's pink nipples was similarly hard on her tiny boobs. But back on the Boiling Isles, Amity kept herself downstairs completely hair free. But human realm razors scared her. While she used them for her pits and legs (those were visible depending on the outfit.), she was not willing to put one of those things near her privates. So she had a small patch of fuzz the same color as her roots. Amity felt so embarrassed, her body hair exposed to her girlfriend.
But Luz didn't care. Fiercely, more passionately than they ever did before; it set their whole bodies a flame. Luz moved toward Amity’s neck while her rough tomboy fingers carcassed Amity’s tiny bush. They soon moved lower down to her sex. Her vagina was already wet and hot. "Amity, can I touch it?"
"Gahmm, yes. Please."
The witch gasped as Luz’s fingers penetrated her. Luz was nervous, never really done anything like this before. She recalled what she liked to do to herself while masturbating, and tried to mimic that. It seemed to have worked as Amity writhed under Luz’s touch. The human repeatedly kissed her as she was fingered.
"Luz, Luz, Luuuz!" Amity’s whole body shook as she came, her pussy squirting furiously.
As Luz sat back down and started wiping her hands with some kleenex, Amity made her way toward her girlfriend. Luz giggled as she felt a series of kisses up and down her thighs. Amity’s own fingers made their way to Luz’s own snatch. Her pink walls, wet with slick, shone against her brown skin. Luz’s head rolled as she took in the pleasure of getting finger banged.
Amity was determined to make Luz feel as good as Luz made her feel. Luz’s walls quivered around the witch's fingers.
"Oh Amity. Oh Amity!"
Luz came, squirting slightly less than Amity did, but the lavender haired witch's face was much closer, so much if it ended on her face.
"Oh Amity! I'm sorry. Here." As Luz wiped her slick if her girlfriend's face, Amity kissed her.
"I see why they skipped this scene in the chapter."
"I don't know. This was the best scene in the series."

Every Friday, the streets of downtown Amman, Jordan, fill with thousands of demonstrators waving Palestinian flags. “The people want the liberation of Palestine,” the crowds chant, their voices echoing across the city.
For more than a month, Jordanians have demonstrated in solidarity with Palestinians against Israeli bombardments in the Gaza Strip and voiced support for armed resistance against Israel.
Aside from the current seven-day truce, Israel has bombed the besieged enclave since Oct. 7, when Hamas broke through Israeli fences and launched an attack on Israel, killing about 1,200 people and taking around 240 hostages. Israeli attacks from air, sea, and land have killed more than 14,800 Palestinians, most of them women and children, according to the Gaza Health Ministry, and caused major destruction of housing and civilian infrastructure.
“We want an immediate ceasefire!” Jordanian Souad Bakir said at the frontline of a protest on Nov. 10. “The hospitals are being destroyed. All aspects of life are being killed. They want to exterminate Gaza.”
“No fuel, no electricity, no food, no water—and Gaza is the terrorist?” a group of young men draped in Palestinian flags said at a demonstration in October after Israel cut all supplies to Gaza.
As Gaza’s humanitarian crisis grows, so does the rage in Jordan’s streets. In addition to the mass protests every Friday, there have been daily demonstrations near the Israeli Embassy and several protests near Western embassies and in Palestinian refugee camps. Jordanians are decrying not just the relentless bombardment of Gaza, but also their own government’s diplomatic ties with Israel and Western leaders’ unwavering support for Israel.
The public outrage from across the political spectrum has put the Jordanian government, which depends heavily on U.S. aid, in a difficult position: Jordan’s monarchy now faces the challenge of maintaining its ties with the United States and Israel while also handling growing domestic unrest.
Jordan and Israel established formal diplomatic ties with the Wadi Araba treaty in 1994. Since then, the two countries have signed several trade and economic cooperation agreements, including a 2016 deal for Jordan to import Israeli gas. Relations were always tense, but they worsened in recent years amid Israel’s continued violation of Palestinian rights and incursions into Jerusalem’s Al-Aqsa Mosque, which is administered by Jordan.
The relationship was further strained last year when Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu formed the most right-wing government in Israel’s history. That government includes figures such as far-right National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir, who has advocated changing the longstanding agreement that governs access to holy sites in Jerusalem that are under Jordanian custodianship. After the Israeli elections, Jordanian King Abdullah II warned Israel against crossing what he called “red lines” and attempts to undermine Jordan’s “special role” at Jerusalem’s holy sites that Israel recognized in the 1994 treaty.
Since the outbreak of the war, Jordanian officials have taken a strong public stance against Israel. They have accused Israel of committing war crimes and crimes against humanity, called for an immediate ceasefire, and tried to secure humanitarian aid to Gaza. Last month, Abdullah denounced Israel’s aggression as a “collective punishment of a besieged and helpless people” and a “flagrant violation of international humanitarian law.” The king also criticized the West’s unwillingness to call for an end to hostilities, saying Palestinian lives appeared to “matter less than Israeli ones.”
Meanwhile, Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi said Israel has crossed “every legal, ethical, and humanitarian red line.” He has also criticized the selective application of international law. “If any other country in the world did a fragment of what Israel did, it would have sanctions imposed on it from every corner of the world,” he said at a security summit on Nov. 18. At a news conference on Monday, he said the events in Gaza “should be classified as genocide.”
Jordan is especially worried about the forced displacement of Palestinians. The creation of Israel in 1948 and the 1967 Arab-Israeli War led to the displacement of hundreds of thousands of Palestinians whom Israel never allowed to return. Many found refuge in Jordan, which is now home to more than 2 million registered Palestinian refugees and where more than an estimated half of the population is of Palestinian origin.
With 1.7 million Palestinians—more than half of Gaza’s population—now displaced within the besieged enclave, and Israeli settler attacks surging in the West Bank, fears of another wave of refugees are growing. Abdullah has said the expulsion of Palestinians would be a “red line.” Jordanian Prime Minister Bisher al Khasawneh has warned international displacement would be a “declaration of war” and announced that the Jordanian army is strengthening its presence along its borders.
Some policy changes have accompanied Jordan’s strong rhetoric. On Oct. 17, Abdullah cancelled a summit in Amman with U.S. President Joe Biden after an explosion at the al-Ahli Arab Hospital in Gaza killed hundreds of people and sparked global outrage. Jordan also recalled its ambassador from Israel and told the Israeli ambassador in Amman to stay out of the country after Israeli air strikes hit the densely populated Jabalia refugee camp, the largest in Gaza. Safadi said the ambassador’s return would depend on Israel “stopping its war on Gaza” and warned of the war’s potential to spread across the region.
A day after an Israeli air strike injured seven staff members at a Jordanian field hospital in Gaza on Nov. 15, Safadi announced that Jordan would not sign a deal to provide solar energy to Israel in exchange for desalinated water. “Can you imagine a Jordanian minister sitting next to an Israeli minister to sign a water and electricity agreement while Israel continues to kill children in Gaza?” he asked.
Jordanian protesters had been pushing their government to scrap the water-for-energy deal since it was announced in 2021. A grassroots campaign called “I’m not paying” has urged Jordanians to boycott electricity and water bills to protest deals with Israel, including the 2016 agreement whereby Jordan’s government—away from parliamentary or public scrutiny—agreed to pay Israel $10 billion for gas supplies over 15 years.
But as Israel cut off water, fuel, and electricity to Gaza, many Jordanians worried even more about the risks of giving Israel control over a key sector. The Arabic saying “blood does not become water”—similar to “blood is thicker than water” in English—appeared on signs and stickers across Amman to denounce the deal as a betrayal of the Palestinian cause.
Many protesters want the government to do more. For Hisham Bustani, a Jordanian writer and activist who helped organize a national campaign against Israeli gas imports, not signing the water-for-energy deal is a step in the right direction, but it’s not enough. “We demand complete disengagement with Israel, and an end to the funneling of billions of Jordanian taxpayers’ money to the Israeli war and occupation economy through gas deals,” he said.
Ending all diplomatic ties with Israel is a core demand of many protesters. The day Jordan announced that it would recall its ambassador to Israel, demonstrators gathered near the Israeli Embassy in Amman, chanting, “It’s not enough.”
The monarchy’s relationship with Israel is deeply unpopular among Jordanians, many of whom feel the partnership primarily serves Jordan’s elite. “It has not benefitted the population at large,” said Tariq Tell, a Jordanian political economist who teaches at the American University of Beirut. “There is a lot of questioning of the whole structure of the regime’s political economy because it’s creating greater inequalities. People are falling through the cracks.”
Many Jordanians see normalization with Israel and the monarchy’s U.S.-aligned policy as linked to neoliberal economic reforms and austerity policies that have weakened social protections. Even before the war, a worsening economy, 23 percent unemployment rate, and perceived corruption fueled growing popular discontent across the country, which the authorities responded to with increased repression.
Protesters have widely denounced the United States and other Western governments for their complicity in Israel’s assault as the West continues to provide military, economic, and political support to Israel. Strong anti-U.S. sentiment is expressed at every demonstration. One sign held up at a protest near the U.S. Embassy in Amman last month labeled Biden and Netanyahu “war criminals” and “partners in crime.” Another read: “We will not forget war crimes in Gaza sponsored by the U.S.”
A key U.S. ally, Jordan is the second-largest recipient of U.S. aid after Israel, receiving $1.45 billion a year. The Hashemite monarchy’s dependence on Washington raises internal challenges. “The reaction in the West has been almost uniformly supportive of Israel,” Tell said. “It opens awkward questions about what Jordan is doing as a pro-Western monarchy. … The regime is on a tightrope, and it will be difficult to land safely.”
As Washington sends warships and fighter aircraft to the Middle East to bolster its military presence in the region, many demonstrators are demanding an end to Jordan’s military cooperation with the United States. In 2021, a U.S.-Jordan defense agreement allowed U.S. forces, aircraft, and vehicles free entry to Jordanian territory and gave an estimated 3,000 U.S. troops stationed at bases in the country immunity from Jordanian courts. This deal, which was highly controversial in Jordan, “amounts to putting Jordan under a U.S. mandate and facilitates the use of Jordan as a military base to support American plans for rearranging the region,” Bustani said.
But Jillian Schwedler, a political scientist at the City University of New York’s Hunter College, said the Jordanian monarchy’s dependence on U.S. funds means it is unlikely to risk the bilateral relationship. “They are going to express outrage but won’t put the relation in peril,” she said.
As domestic pressures mount, the government has increased its efforts to contain popular anger. It has forbidden demonstrations or gatherings in the Jordan Valley and near border areas. In Amman, Jordanian forces have fired tear gas at demonstrators trying to storm the Israeli Embassy, closed roads, and prevented protestors from reaching the U.S. and European embassies.
Several protestors have been detained on charges of unlawful assembly, vandalism, disturbing public order, and assaulting security and public officers. Protesters have demanded the release of all detainees, chanting “enough arrests!” in the streets.
Still, the war has allowed the emergence of a unified street. “Jordanians are just as supportive of Gaza as Palestinians,” Tell said. “There is a coherent nationalist discourse that is able to overcome the communal divide the regime usually plays upon.” Carrying on without taking public opinion into account, he said, “could be dangerous for the current regime.”

In actuality, Moto is quite smart. In fact he's the most knowledgeable of the four heroes at the time of summoning (and yes, that counts Naofumi. Remember, Naofumi had to learn everything from scratch because he knew absolutely nothing when he entered. And had Myne not betrayed him, he would very well become an actually stupid version of Motoyasu because of that.)
I mean, he's the only one among them that went to college.
What Motoyasu isn't however, is rational. People, especially online, tend to think that intelligent and rational are one and the same.
They are not. It is very much possible to be very smart, yet very irrational. Of course there's the problem of this.
Why does he believe malty so heavily!?
This question is easy to ask from the perspective of an audience, particularly when Moto is an antagonist and we see the POV of the protagonist (Naofumi.) But take a step back a moment, remove that audience-centricism, put yourself in his shoes, and ask yourself if you would believe Malty so easy.
"Many of the truths we cling to depend greatly on our own point of view." -Obi Wan
You are Motoyasu. You've known Naofumi for less than 24 hours. Shielders in your game were always kind of sus. Suddenly, Naofumi's party mate runs up to you, butt naked. Crying at you about how she was sexually assaulted. Tears fill her eyes, and her voice is desperate and scared.
Yes, we as an audience knows she's putting up an act. But can you honestly say that were you in this situation, you would not fall for it? With the very limited information and time you had to process it, most people definitely would have.
If you say "Oh I would totally not fall for her bullshit." Well, I hate to break it to you bud, but you're either ultra skeptical, ultra paranoid, or you're still clinging onto that audience centricism I told you to stop having for 5 seconds.
Okay so how could Moto not turn on her after the whole slave crest confession thing?
Because this presupposes again that Moto is rational and that rational is the same as intelligent. Rational thought says that when you're wrong you accept the facts and act accordingly.
However, anyone who's ever had an argument with anyone else should know that people don't work that way. Instead, when people are proven wrong on a presupposed truth (particularly one they've held and reinforced for a very long time, as was the case with Motoyasu at the time of Malty's trial), instead of changing positions they tend to double down on it. This is not a Motoyasu problem. This is... as much as I hate using this term as it's severely overused these days for shitty political stances... a human nature problem. As Adam Ruins Everything points out.
Sure, clearing Naofumi's name like this works (less effectively than shown) on the common masses outside watching the whole thing on ball-o-vision, but for someone that's been with Malty for months on end, has a personal stake in this, and has had no real reason to doubt their companion up until now, all this does is the aforementioned 'backfire effect'.
As an old quote says: "The true form of stupidity isn't the lack of intelligence but the lack of caring to think."
The backfire effect is a psychological phenomenon where people's beliefs strengthen after being presented with evidence that challenges
Motoyasu would, without hesitation, betray his duty as a hero and to the world for his "friends". Motoyasu is a much more cynical depiction of how the "power of friendship" can very quickly devolve into tragedy
when it comes to people he considers friends he is overly trusting
and loyal
and will outright deny the possibility of them doing wrong
Ok
