who does he feel closest with in terms of romantic partners? what can one do to get there?

oh ho ho ... now you get to learn about my adventures in talking to friends about ships on discord ohohoho well!

for gan's main verse, he went from 0 to 100 with @perditos's zelda, and by this i mean "ganondorf doesn't understand that he can't just IMMEDIATELY decide to try and court someone he literally just met" (elsa vc YOU CAN'T MARRY SOMEONE YOU JUST MET) - there are red flags in her story but all flags are red flags when you're wearing rose colored glasses! he's fascinated by her and for anyone following the thread, he's really just taking his shot and he's got not the slightest clue that things are going to go to shit no matter what he feels for her or what she feels for him! he's so curious about her and she is also curious about him! he hasn't experienced anyone of hylia's blood who was Interested in LEARNING about him or his people before, so honestly that's some top tier things right there!

for his pkmn verse, which is still a MASSIVE work in progress, he's rather infatuated with yuri (@moonkssd)- they have a great sun/moon dynamic in the way of "gan is sun and lion coded and you can pry that from my cold dead hands" which leads to yuri being a moon maiden and having a dude who is like the sun- they compliment each other there!

actually, now that i look at it ... both his ships so far are sun/moon coded ... i think that's very sexy of me and my writing partners! we know where it's at!

on the note of how to win gan's heart, be patient with him! as in, understand that he has some real problems, and while he can be quite charming and charismatic, he's also ... really a bastard lmao. he seeks power and there's a place he wants to take over (usually hyrule but honestly verse dependent, whatever i can work in lmao) and nothing is going to stop him from trying- don't try to change him, gan is, pun absolutely intended, rather pig-headed about how he does things. if he wants to change, he'll do it on his own accord. loving someone won't stop him from making bad choices- heck, per his main verse, he wants to give zelda hyrule as a wedding present-

he likes others who are also curious. he's drawn toward those who are wise and those who are courageous (match his wit, stand up to him even when he's at his worst, that's a surefire way to get his attention in the best way!)- and whether or not that's a triforce thing or just something he has learned to value in others over time is??? who cares, it all leads to the same point. he will be more willing to open up if someone shows genuine interest in learning about him and the gerudo instead of immediately slapping down stereotypes- which is done all too often (looking at you, rauru!)

other fun things: gan loves to cuddle! his love language is absolutely physical touch, so if he's getting to the point of casual touches (read: i have this thing about the symbolism of hands and whatnot and something something about gan has hands with the power to create or destroy, to hurt or to heal- i'll die on this hill too!) it's a good indication that he likes someone a lot!

So before i start, i had a little problem deciphering the emojies bc my phone and computer show me completely different things so I'll assume you meant moon and sun? If not I'm sorry, feel free to correct me and I'll do another post :3

☾ - sleep headcanon

The man is a chronic insomniac. It takes a long time for him to fall asleep and the slightest shift in the air to startle him. He grew up in an environment which conditioned him into being half aware in his sleep- he couldn't afford to be caught off guard. The smallest noise wakes him up, which is mainly why he prefers to camp out in nature than to actually get a place in the city. Sometimes he can't fall asleep several days at the time- which drives him to overwork himself to the point he hopefully passes out at night. At some point in late teenagehood/early adulthood he was prescribed sleeping meds, but stopped taking them due to how much more vivid they made his nightmares.

The nightmares where he's back in the streets, cold and starving, small and weak, and in the dreams he can't find his dogs; it's a neverending chase with shadowy tormentors and no respite to be found at the end of the line. He hides and hands find him, sneers and jeers ring out as he hits the ground again and again, and he wakes up with the iron tang of blood on his tongue. Sometimes he goes for a run when the sky's still dark, other times he just summons Crazy Slots, clutching the clown in his hands until the sun rises and the birds sing so he can tell himself i survived another day.

That being said, he can sleep much easier with someone to keep him company, being a pack of cats and dogs, or his team crashing into a cuddle pile (or Wing, bc the man is a human furnace).

☼ - appearance headcanon

Kite is easily 7 feet tall- which is one of the only physical features that he actively likes about himself. It helps him in combat, and admittedly towering over people dissuades them from messing with him.

It's not only the hair on his head that's white- his eyebrows and eyelashes are also white, almost to the point of being translucent. His legs and arms are quite hairy, but he barely grows any facial hair at all and despite that, keeps his face clean shaven. He doesn't remember ever having short hair at any point in his life, but one of his earliest memories is of a less than kind caretaker trying to cut his hair and after facing Kite's resistance, beating him. He doesn't quite trust anyone around him with scissors even years after and trims his own hair.

He has many scars, from his childhood living situation and the time he spent travelling with Ging; the ones that stand out most being one on his throat and the burnmarks covering his forearms. He hides them with clothes and doesn't undress in front of others less out of vanity and more so people don't ask questions. He wouldn't be able to stop himself from being snarky if they did so.

His nose was broken in childhood and has a badly healed bump, so do two fingers on his left hand. His front teeth are crooked- overlapping a bit, and one has a chipped corner. By his late twenties he has pronounced crow's feet when he smiles and asymmetrical smile lines.

I always headcanon that he got tattoos, maybe as a way to claim back ownership over his own body. I think maybe an ouroboros (SYMBOLISM!!!) and possibly flowers.

And honestly i could keep going but i will end my waffling here. Who knew i still had so much to infodump about this man.

a still rough version of a proposed design for a transmasculine flag that isn’t just some configuration of blue and pink horizontal stripes? i’m not sure abt these colours, and i’m vaguely worried it looks too much like the muslim moon + star symbol, and/or a fried egg... so... input wld be appreciated?

(also, anyone who might want to use any part of this as inspiration for a transfem flag is more than welcome to do so! 99% of this is not transmasc-specific)

(also note that i have nothing against the existing trans flag and am not trying to like... split the trans community??? just that transmasc and transfem experiences are different and it might be nice to have specific symbols as well as general ones. like, if we have an nb flag, why not?)

transmasc symbol - the infinite range of transmasc experiences and identities - binary or nonbinary, masculine, feminine or androgynous - while all sharing some part of a common sense of identity. (note: the lack of a venus sign is not an exclusion of all femininity, just of binary femaleness.)

(plus - resemblance to antlers, stags being a symbol of wisdom, protectiveness, and regeneration? possibly something someone with better design skills than me could make more visible)
