Holy shit. I’ve had an epiphany about my beloved, tragic duo.

I’ve never done something like this before, but I’m willing to spill my heart out into this post in my sudden, autistic motivation. Arcane will be my new hyper-fixation for the next few weeks.

**SPOILERS FOR ARCANE SEASON 2**

Viktor and Jayce are two sides of the same coin. Like the “order” and “chaos” that Viktor mentions in his great speech, they cannot exist without each other. They are a foil.

By the start, before Viktor died, Viktor was adamant that Jayce should discontinue the Hexcore, realising the weight of the danger it held (as it was responsible for the evaporation of Sky). And we know that Jayce instead used the Hexcore to revive Viktor, adamant to save his friend and to continue the development of Hextech. To Jayce’s naïveté and dismay, Viktor walked off, rather than reciprocating his relief. Jayce didn’t understand. This wasn’t what he expected.

However, after taking time away from Jayce to reflect, Viktor found himself being led by Sky to The Sump. This is where he healed the first of the sick and realised the power the Hexcore wielded, finally understanding Jayce’s point of view. He could fix the shimmer problem and, starting from the ground up, he could heal Zaun. This is when Viktor sets off to mend the ills of the people in The Sump, unbeknownst to Jayce. Viktor becomes a sort of ‘messiah’ come to save the people. There are many obvious parallels between him and Jesus, with all the Christian imagery. It just makes me wonder who his partner would represent. Judas, perhaps, as both their names start with a ‘J’ and they were both partners, like some of the theories about Jesus and Judas.

Jayce, on the other hand, The Man of Progress, the man who will bring a bright future to Piltover, later got sucked into the Hexcore with Ekko and Heimerdinger and was sent to the future to see where the path of magic led. He had a change of heart. He touched the Arcane, while becoming a touch insane... He understood Viktor’s point of view. The wrath that Viktor and Heimerdinger once warned him about was impending and seemingly unstoppable. This was when he saw the messianic figure Viktor became, and his failures, and finally promised himself “he wouldn’t fail” when setting off to put a stop to the Hexcore.

This is where it becomes tragic, yet so frustratingly amazing for Arcane’s plot. When Jayce claws his way back and out of the Hexcore, he was greeted with Salo, surprised by his ability to walk. He questions him, leading to the revelation that Viktor, his partner, was behind this. Becoming enraged at Viktor’s change of mind he, well, basically murders Salo without remorse.

Beginning his pilgrimage, meaning a holy journey with the goal of meeting God, he meets Viktor. Who symbolises Jesus, a person of the holy trinity— JAYCE IS LITERALLY MEETING GOD (wow, I am a genius 😏). But, unfortunately, he remembers he “will not fail” and will go to any length to prevent the preventable end, even temporarily, and charges his hammer, shooting Viktor square in the chest— LIKE JUDAS RATTING OUT JESUS. And, just like Jesus and Judas, we know Jesus comes back from the dead.

Therefore, Viktor arises again, but with the goal of converting absolutely everyone for his final, glorious evolution.

A few times skips later, it is revealed that the cloaked figure Jayce met at his time in the Hexcore in the future was. Viktor. His partner. He realised that this evolution will only lead to the absolute end. Absolute perfection. As Viktor said “There is no prize to perfection, only an end to pursuit.” Sure, it leads to the end of all misery and hate, but also to joy and passion. Hate cannot exist without passion, chaos cannot exist without order, and Jayce cannot exist without Viktor.

Throughout this series, we find that Viktor and Jayce swap their roles, flipping like a coin or the cog that represents them, boosting the plot and leaving us on the edge of our seats, whilst they both have intention of good. But, as Viktor said, “in every possible outcome, there is always you.” It’s always Jayce and Viktor. Chaos and order.

At the resolution, we find both our protagonists in the Arcane and finally destroying the Hexcore, the overarching antagonist. Finally, they unite agian. They both die in this process in order to save all of humanity. Jayce wouldn’t let Viktor do it all alone and, despite being pushed away, joins Viktor in the end.

Chaos cannot exist without order. So, it is either both of them, or neither.

BnHA Chapter 408: Orphaned Cryptid to Billionaire Supervillain

Previously on BnHA: HE WAS BORN AN ARROGANT BABY.

Today on BnHA: Horikoshi decides he’s going to cover the rest of the AFO/OFA saga in the span of just seven pages, the majority of which are mostly just filled with lovingly detailed closeups of AFO and Kudou’s eyes. Back in the present day, Kid For One takes a couple of seconds to trample the last of the “Kacchan is OFA II or is related to OFA II” theories into the dust, and is then all “fuck it, I’ll just take him out with one last spectacularly grotesque supermove.” Kacchan is all “lol you fucking dipshit”, and he says it with such confidence that it truly makes me believe he can defeat AFO’s “ALL THE QUIRKS EVER!!” attack with his piddly little exploding bloodsweat quirk. AND IT WILL BE A SIGHT TO SEE.

Yoichi’s name btw is written with the kanji 与 which means “bestow” or “give”, and 一 which means “one.” so basically “one who gives”, which is fitting as the creator of OFA, but also fits in with this new context of being the first “possession” bestowed upon AFO

oh yes and also AFO I guess has just torn his brother to shreds or something too. idk. I’m going to be honest with you guys, this panel has such a surreal vibe that I just sat here blinking stupidly at it and wasn’t even shocked or anything. like what. is he dreaming this?? or did he really just make a “STOP! IN THE NAAAAME OF LOVE” gesture and in doing so remove half of his brother’s jaw

Killian was a man that has been through a lot. Losing his brother because of dreamshade, then his lover and his hand because of the Dark One, then having to deal with the 'bloody demon' Peter Pan and his crew of Lost Boys alongside many other hardships. Yet there was this one person that made it all better. His sweet, darling Y/N. The true love of his life, the ray of sunshine that always shined through his darkest of days and he couldn't be more thankful for him.

Both men currently laid on their shared bed in their apartment, cuddling. It was one of those days when Killian was simply… Tired. Of everything really. Call it a depressive episode or an existential crisis. He didn't have the strength to do anything, from the moment he woke up he was felt like shit. Leave it to Y/N though to be there for him and get him through it.

-I'm sorry that you have to deal with me right now - he said quietly, feeling quite defeated and empty, running his fingers gently up and down Y/N's back. That made the man cuddled to him lift up so he could be face to face with his boyfriend.

Another sleepless night. Another day. Another bleary morning where you slip into your routine. Go to work, come back home, heat up some ultra processed canned meal, another groundhog day feeling like a crazy person over the radio silence on Han's side.

It's 6.30 pm and you're restless. You barely pick at the spaghetti in your bowl and dial up the same number once again, it goes to voicemail, predictably. Shit. Fuck. You groan and spring to your feet.

This has to end, you can't go on like this. It's not something you've ever thought you'd ever do but here you are, turning on the ignition and speeding down the road, headed to Han's apartment. He has to talk to you. He has to face this. Your heart needs to be put to a rest or else you're going to implode.

You spend the whole 35 minuets drive mentally preparing for the moment you'll see him, going over and over your speech as it frantically forms in your head with every mile you drive. As soon as you pull up to his driveway your mouth goes dry. Every single thought in your head disappears and you're just climbing out of your car and waking up to his door by pure inertia, your brain empty, your instincts kicking in, driven by mere impulsiveness.

You ring the bell a few times, impatiently knock on his door as well, silently praying no other resident will walk up on you looking like a dishevelled lunatic who didn't even bother changing out of her fuzzy pink sweats and battered Uggs boots. No answer. You helplessly look around the hallway. Looking for God knows what kind of signal he might have left.

For all you know he might be hiding inside, refusing to acknowledge you cause he's being a coward. "Han Jisung please open this fucking door", you exclaim once, frustratedly knocking a few more times, to no avail. You try to press your ear to the hard, reinforced surface of the door, trying to listen to any noise that might be coming from the inside. But you hear nothing.

Eyeing the little pass code activated electronic lock on the side, the wild, deranged thought of punching in a random code flashes in your mind but you immediately hold yourself back from even trying to hover your hand above the touch pad.

An old lady with a lovely bouquet of pink flowers and a white crocheted cat shaped bag walks past you, she smiles politely at you and greets you briefly, and you try your best to look casual, bowing slightly to her in greeting, "are you waiting for your friend, darling?", she asks curiously, stopping before her door, "y-yeah, he lives here, we were supposed to meet a few minutes ago but I guess he might be... napping?", you blurt out, a deep shaded of pink creeping up your cheeks.

The nice lady purses her lips and taps her chin cutely, lively eyes lighting up in realisation once she gives the door to Han's apartment a quick glance over," ah! The nice young man with the the bright smile! What a lovely boy he is, I think he left a few days ago with another handsome fellow, he had a little packet of cat food with him, he even gave it to my little darling, Mee", she elaborates, opening the door to her apartment, a white fluffy cat with green eyes peeking out from the door frame.

You weren't going to get a speeding ticket on a regular thursday night but your foot did push down dangerously hard onto your gas pedal more than once. Minho didn't even live that far from Han but the urge you felt rushing through your veins made you drive there almost too exceedingly fast.

With sweaty palms and wobbly legs, you climb out of the car and walk up to the doorbell, ringing twice: this is the moment, you think. Here goes nothing, he's either going to yell at you for basically stalking him or break down into tears cause he realised he missed you. Though that might just be your sleep deprived brain talking.

Minho curses under his breath and scrambles to the door, his face falling the second he sees you standing there behind the gate, eyes bloodshot and watery, your whole demeanor so subdued and miserable: "y/n? What are you doing here?", he doesn't wait for your answer, instead he just opens the gate with a click of a button on his front door video intercom and then quickly walks up to you.

It's not properly disappointment the emotion you're feeling right now but it's still somewhat resembling the feeling of being let down, even though you know you did it all on yourself, this isn't a movie or a novel, happy endings just don't write themselves like that.

Minho approaches you cautiously, concern written all over his face, big eyes poring into yours as he nears your trembling body: "is he here? Please tell me he's here and he's okay", is all you can say before the floodgates open and you're overcome with rugged breaths and loud cries.

The dark haired boy hesitates, he reaches out to pat your hair gently, his voice soft and whispery, "it's alright, y/n, it's alright", he coos, "he is here. He's basically been camping here for the past week and a half. He's sleeping right now. I can't even access my own bed room cause he moved himself in there and won't get out", he tries, slipping a soft giggle in his words.

Meager relief, at least you know he's not completely shutting everyone out. You knew Han well enough to know he knew how to keep a grudge when upset but mostly, you knew he sometimes despised his head enough to get lost in it and let it swallow him up to the point where he didn't let anyone in.

Minho's perceptiveness pleasantly surprises you when he motions for you to give him a little side hug, like he knew you needed that, even though he's not that into physical closeness like that, "I've been looking after him, he's eating his meals and getting all the sleep. I know you're wondering if he's beating himself up over what he did: he is. He hasn't been very kind to himself, I'm sure if he feels bad you must feel ten times worse. For what is worth, I'm sorry, little one", he says calmly, using his fingers to dab away at tears still pooling in the corners of your eyes.

You nod quietly and sniffle, "I-thank you. He-he's been ignoring me for days I thought he was... I thought he was mad at me and mad at himself and maybe not doing so good and I'm-I'm going insane, Min. I need him. I need to talk to him and I need to talk to Felix and I can't do either and it feels like I'm loosing it", you ramble, feeling the sting of the fresh unshed tears beading beneath your lashes.

Minho nods in understanding and pats your head, "he's not mad at you. He never was. You know how he can be sometimes, a little too impulsive. He's been agonizing over you for so long he just combusted that night. I might have suggested to him to act fast if he cared enough about you and about his sanity the most, I had no idea he would straight up confess and break the news over Yongbokie, that wasn't his place to do that, but I believe he did so cause he's genuinely, madly in love with you, he was really on his last resort".

He's is in love with you. It's not even the first time you hear that, Han said it himself. Yet the weight of those words still crushes your soul in the best way possible. It makes your heart pound so hard in your chest it physically hurts. What about Felix though. His spirit would certainly be destroyed if he knew about any of this.

You ponder on your words for a second, your eyes focusing in the distance first, on the bedroom window in the front part of the house where you know Han is sleeping. "I feel like... I feel like I've been blind this whole time, and now there's too many colors and the lights are too bright and I can't see clear. I want to say I'm in love with him too, but I can't shake the heaviness from my heart, cause Felix is my best friend... no offense", "none taken", Minho chuckles, rubbing your arm slightly.

"You'll be okay, you'll figure it out. If the both of your are serious enough about your feelings for each other and the mutual respect for our blue haired angel, you'll find a way to coexist with that heaviness. But you need to face it together".

A few more days go by. They all kind of merge one into another. You try to send Felix funny memes and have basic conversations here and there but it feels like play pretend all the while. You're sure he can tell you're not being 100% yourself, even more so when texts start popping up in your group chat with the boys and you never reply.

When Chan suggest you all meet for drinks one night, you quickly make up some excuse about being sick and turn off your phone, not before seeing the chat fill up with hearts and get well soon wishes which only make you cry cause you miss your friends and you wish you could turn back time and remain blissfully ignorant and enjoy your time with them without worrying about either breaking your own heart or Felix's. Or both.

It's past 9pm already and with no plans for your Friday night beside wallowing in your own pity party, you jump into a scalding hot shower, making sure you're blasting your music as loud as possible, hoping the steam from the hot water and the songs on your playlist will drown out your intermittent crying.

You don't necessarily feel better once you step out but clean hair and a lotioned up, hydrated body do feel like a little treat despite the mental state you're in. You throw on a black tank top and some shorts and gather up the used towels and laundry, your hair still damp and falling into your face when you have to bend down to pick up a sock that fell out of your dirty laundry pile.

And then the door bell rings. And you hit your head on the side of the sink from the jolt. Shit. Grumbling and pressing your hand on the back of your head, you quickly run downstairs, the door bell still ringing and ringing. Exasperated and annoyed by your clumsiness, you thrust the door open without even checking the peephole first.

Hello, i am here with a take that people might hate me for but we'll see.

Xander is the worst sibling out of all of the siblings and Ryoma is better in quite a few aspects (keep in mind all the siblings are my favorite characters and both these two are rather low on my list of fave sibs)

Don't get me wrong i don't hate him, i actually really like him, i might out myself saying this but one of my fave ships of Xander is with my favorite sister and one of my favorite characters in the game, Hinoka; it's great support that give actual royal courting vibes and he is very nice with her it's just sweet.

But, besides the fact he becomes obsessed with killing us in Birthright, being Takumi's counterpart, in Conquest he is not really that better. Besides the fact he attacks us in his reintroduction after a (for me, i'm not that great :,v) lowkey traumatic battle just to "keep us in our toes" like bruh read the room.

The siblings in general but specially him wait UNTIL THE LAST FUCKING MINUTE TO KILL THESE ANNOYING PIECES OF SHIT IAGO AND HANS WHEN THEY COULD HAVE EASILY DONE SO FROM THE BEGINNING-

Which connects to my other point, his speech of Justice is an illusion infuriated me because, taking the upper point in consideration and the fact he does have a lot of power in goverment is a fucking joke, CEO crying when people complain about them without doing anything to make their employes lives better type of pathetic.

Ryoma's reintroduction is him defending us of a Bully basically (in this case it was Leo and like come on both Leo and Takumi are, they are the same guy) and his interactions in story are just so nice man, he just screams big brother and in Conquest he continues, his sacrifice fucking broke me because he really cared for us.

"Oh but his obsession of bringing us back is weird because we are not blood related" I hear you whine and, my sibling by the gods, you do not understand this family dynamic and that's sad for you; but if you take into consideration that Mikoto was not only married and loved Sumeragi, she most likely loved and married Ikona as well, since both Sakura and Takumi are younger than Corrin. They had a very close knit family relationship and they were, in fact, chosen siblings in a way.

In general people have a lot more empathy towards the Nohr siblings than the Hoshidan siblings which i think it's fucking stupid because not only is all of Hoshido martyred and victims of crimes AGAINST HUMANITY (worse than war crimes) like everyday, their family was ruptured by an assasination and a kidnapping on the. Same. Day.

On May 3, new tariffs will be implemented for the auto industry. We had a meeting today to discuss these changes and what it means for us yet again.

So my manager starts off saying how during Trumps speech (that none of us watched), he wants to “help” the auto sector out. Mind you - all while he was giving the speech in Warren, home of most of the auto plants that shut down and moved to Mexico that past few years. It was a very strategic location to hold this rally.

He’s giving “good news” and “help” by eliminating stacked tariffs on imported goods. Well wow, even to us this sounds pretty good. Stacked tariffs is all the shit he created the past few months. First the additional tariffs on MX and CA, then the exempt tariffs he placed on MX and CA if they have USMCA that he forgot about, then aluminum and steel tariffs, then the reciprocal tariffs….I’m telling you it takes ages to complete entries now because you’re reporting 4-5 tariffs per item now trying to keep it straight based on different statuses.

So he’s gonna help take that away and if the tariff falls within the auto sector (vehicles and parts included), he will reduce it to one additional tariff that eliminates the others. Isn’t that great!?

Except as she was talking and I was looking at her chart, I noticed the duty amount.

Me: wait so he’s eliminating all the other shit but they have an additional 25% rate still?

Manager: yes

Me: sooo say someone had alum content on their item and was paying less. Now he’s doing them a favor by not reporting that and just charging them the full 25%?

Me: and importers who had no aluminum or steel….now they’re being fucked over by this flat 25% rate?

Manager: language….but also yeah.

Me: how is that helping? It’s gonna make them pay more!

In short, he’s still screwing everyone over if not worse. In fact, you’ll have to pay more than what you were possibly paying anyway. If you weren’t paying for aluminum product before, you basically HAVE to now. And these smucks here in Warren that are with the auto unions believe he’s helping them while he smiles in their faces.

Also if they have Usmca qualifying items, then it’s duty free anyway, and it still doesn’t make sense to bring back manufacturing here so there still is no incentive for American companies to comply. The rich just keep getting richer.

WAKE UP PEOPLE!! He’s destroying jobs and the economy within months!! A friendly reminder that US companies pay for the tariffs!!! And the cost is offset to consumers aka YOU!

I just want to say: the darker AUs you have on your blog are just *chefs kiss*. The prison AU has so many venues for underhanded dealings, manipulation and just prime psychological warfare. Heartslabyul's dynamics as wardens is just? asking for trouble and I am all for it. I guess my question would be: How would the prisoners take advantage of their wardens' weaknesses? Seeing as some are more rule-bound (Riddle, Trey) in a sense, you could also consider them the most predictable. Meanwhile other wardens may underestimate the prisoners (Ace because he's arrogant, Deuce because he's a little naive) and that could lead to other problems. Although lowkey, Cater kind of seems like the guy who is actually a double-agent working for the prisoners... I mean that signature spell is literally the perfect alibi... any more info on him? I apologize for going on and on but I am just so genuinely intrigued by your prison AU. I would kill for any more details about it, it is just seriously so good.

Thank you very much for liking darker stuff and this AU in particular! The character writing is so great in TW that putting them in literally any setting and thinking about how their relationship would slightly transform because of that while trying to remain as close to the original as possible is just a treat. And since we all know they are villains... it’s going to be exactly like you said – dealings, manipulation, smuggling, warfare and whatnot.

Half-way though this reply turned into an instruction, for some reason?.. I’m sorry lol I spent too much time writing all of this.

Your take on the Heartslabyul boys is pretty much on point, so I’d probably describe their weaknesses in a similar manner.

Riddle is extremely predictable because he follows the prison rules to a T. You can abuse his regime and his routines; his patrol routes follow a very distinct pattern, so if you find any of his blind spots, it’s basically a golden mine for smuggling. Even if Riddle’s aware of that, but sometimes he can’t change what he’s doing atm because it interferes with some of his Queen of Hearts rules, so he’s bound to obey them no matter what despite the fact that he’s not a student anymore and despite the fact that someone breaks prison rules right in front of him. I think prisoners would learn quite a large number of Queen of Hearts rules to use for their advantage. It sometimes can be something simple, for instance, like abusing the rule 153 - the only tea you may drink in the evenings is herbal tea. They can freely put something like sleeping pills in it because they know that Riddle is definitely going to drink this tea and not anything else in the evening. Or rule 25, which lets you know that his shift is going to end sooner than usual that day, not to mention he’s going to drag a bunch of other wardens with him to help out with a tea party.

Trey, on the other hand, isn’t as strict, so he’s less convenient for the prisoners, esp in comparison. However, he doesn’t lack common sense unlike Riddle, who is rather eccentric, so his “normal guy” attitude also leads to him being rather predictable, just like you said. Nothing special comes to mind for me except for the usual ways to trick people, but Trey isn’t exactly the most trusting guy, so he might actually see through you. Prisoners can sometimes abuse his poor eyesight, though.

Ace really is arrogant, he’s the one you can easily manipulate if he has some respect for you, and if you seem cool to him, then despite being a prisoner you definitely have some (respect). It’s the same as Floyd described, basically, where Ace does dumb shit thinking it’s part of a master plan, and that he won’t get caught for it, so he follows your lead. He’s also very short-tempered, and this, with his provoking manner of speech, leads to him being one of the “weakest” wardens in prison. One of the most troublesome and funny...

Deuce is somewhat the same, he gets angry quickly and is ready to fight anyone who disses people he likes or respects (he’s less likely to jump someone if they offend him personally). He’s naive and will believe you if you say you want to change, but only because of his own experience,and only after he gets to know better. He’s not exactly trustful and is well aware about different types of delinquents and their behaviour patterns, although his knowledge about really creepy and dangerous dudes is worse. He also won’t believe you the second time after you betray his trust. He also runs fast, that’s his strong point.

Cater... I honestly don’t know or remember much about Cater, he’s one of the neglected boys by us (sorry, Cater), but I think your idea of him being a double agent seems perfect for him, as well as his unique magic that’ll make him one of the most knowledgeable people in the prison in terms of rumors + will always provide him with perfect alibi. He’s profitable, so I think prisoners will try to maintain nice relationships with him. He seems like one of the smugglers, who would bring stuff to prison for trade. Kay-kun is here to deliver your cigarettes!~ and stuff.

Jack’s weaknesses are related to him being a pup – anything extremely stinky (hi, beanfest), loud, or distracting and abusing his sharp senses is a nice go-to for disturbing with his work. If he’s transformed into a wolf, anything that helps you to drag out the situation would also be beneficial – I’m pretty sure that after transforming back he’d be too tired to do anything. Since his nose is very powerful, to erase tracks and your own smell from objects it’s better to use stuff that’s extremely chemical and/or includes bleach or even worse stuff. Now it sounds like I’m writing a tutorial...

Kalim is a walking weakness disaster. The only thing that’s on his side is his luck and his positive attitude. He’s a nightmare for his colleagues, even though he’s pretty hard-working and listens to every order without complaint... I’m sorry. He’s so easy to abuse, even if he learns his mistakes and tries not to repeat them. I wouldn’t even call him stupid, he isn’t, it’s just everything else about him.

Rook doesn’t have any weaknesses, although maybe he might get distracted by Vil’s beauty or some other stalking activity – you never know where he is, which can be both a pro and a con. Plus, Rook doesn’t take his job very seriously, he’s more here to have fun and discover something beautiful by being among the lowest scum of the earth, or something like that, so he might neglect his duties from time to time.

Vil’s weakest spot is his face, so doing anything to destroy it or disturb his beauty, despite this being a dick move, is a nice way to get rid of him. Also gross and dirty stuff might stall him, so he’ll spend at least some time to overcome his disgust, but that depends more on his mental state. If he’s confident, which he often is, it just won’t do you any good. It’s still possible to overpower him, but that’s for very strong prisoners.

Epel is on the same line with Ace and Deuce – quick-tempered and fast to punch you in the face, so he’s easy to manipulate as well. He’s not as scheming as Ace and not as nice as Deuce, so he’s probably the dumbest warden there is (sorry, Epel...). He also tries to look cool, so if you stroke his ego in the correct way or prove that you’re super cool and worthy of his respect, he’ll be your minion. He’s good at lying in people’s faces, though, which can also be used if he’s on a prisoner’s side.

Idia is a scared kitten who’s very weak physically, so he won’t put up any fight – you can bully him into lots of stuff with threats and violence, even if he’s going to complain about it along the way. He gives up easily if he sees that chances to win aren’t on his side, and that’s definitely going to be the case with most of the prisoners, unless he can use his technician skill somehow. He’s hard to spot, but if he falls into prisoner’s hands, his go-to is to get out of situation with the least amount of losses from his side. Wow, he’s so useless he’s with the Ace-Deuce-Epel team.

Ortho is a little bit naive, but his super strength, super hearing, super eyesight and literally all of his other settings and his gear compensate this weakness. I’d recommend avoiding him as much as Rook, he’s too OP. His basic weakness would be water and humid stuff, but I’m pretty sure Idia has this covered by giving him magic shields and air dryers or something.

Sebek – very aggressive and stupid. If you offend him or anything that he respects, he’ll probably try to murder you and not think about anything else. On the downside, he’s very strong and has sharp senses, so after teasing him it’s important to get out of his reach. He seems silly, but I wouldn’t count on it too much without getting his emotions involved in the process, he’s attentive and analytical.

Silver is also somewhat naive and goes with the flow. He’s gullible, so if your acting is mid or higher level, it’s very easy to trick him into believing you, even if you say something dumb like “zombie breakout, run” while going with your escape plan. And, of course, his narcolepsy, which makes him one of the favourite wardens for prisoners.

This sounds more like a character analysis post than me trying to name their weaknesses, but I hope it works! Once again, thank you very much for you kind words and this wonderful ask ❤️

S19 Mini Theory - Staff of Charon Fight

Okay, so I was rewatching some S13 stuff for funsies (a funny af "shotgun" moment). . . but I kept watching to the end. So here's a theory I had before, but now it's changed up a bit because I was wrong about the ORDER... and now I'm actually kind of flipping my shit just a touch if I'm right. I'll add a read more break here:

So lemme just start off all of this Preamble saying, IF we actually get to see the Staff of Charon fight, which was possibly teased by the Simulation run teaser Church was doing... Then this is my new theory for this fight (Which I assume will be at the very beginning of the movie). Okay, so at the end, Church is giving his little speech and saying how this is gonna have to be his last real moment with everyone. He's got to 'deconstruct' himself, and that the fragments he leaves behind will help them all get through the fight. When he says this, the fragments flash on the screen in a particular line up order. . . which also line up with certain characters in the same shot. A line up I was originally got wrong. This is the line up:

There are 6 fragments and technically six characters in this shot. When I first thought how the fight would go, I imagined some people would get some of the fragments somehow. I wasn't sure how it would be done until Church basically said he'd have to break himself up, but I digress. One of my first assumptions was that Delta would go to Simmons. He's typically the "smart" one and Delta is a logical AI. I also assumed this because I figured there might be a Holo-Lock they'd have to break through and so far, Simmon's is usually called to lock-pick a door. (*coughYorkVibescough*) Now however... After seeing this shot? HO-LY Fuck. Delta staying with Tucker makes sense. He's going to need a logical voice helping him with that suit. He'll be able to do his Big Damn Hero thing but with also with a calculated precision Delta can give him. Theta, almost invisible but there in between Tucker and Caboose, would go to Caboose. They are both childlike and find a lot of things scary, but Caboose is also good at not letting those scary things get to him. Theta will be able to protect him, I feel. Gamma with Lopez. I don't think I need to expand much on this. The Twins - Eta and Iota. . . Would go to Doc and O'Malley. Two Minds. Sarge getting Sigma somewhat surprised me, but after mulling it over, I realized that Sarge has always had the fiery passion of battle burn in his heart. I feel this will help keep Sarge sharp and speedy, and possibly we may even see him use his shotgun with new strategy.

Which leaves Omega with Simmons. This kind of shocked me at first. But then, again, taking a moment to reflect on it, this could possibly be fitting. Simmons can fight fairly well as it is, however, he can crack under pressure pretty fast. I feel like Omega is going to drive him to keep fighting even when shit looks really bad. He may even lose a bit of fear. He already seems to have a penchant for fighting - he enjoys it. He also at some point when Omega was a threat before, made sure to prep himself mentally in case Omega jumped back into him.

Of course, this is all speculation and theory over a fight that may or may not happen . . . but like, after that teaser with Church, I feel like if we DONT get that epic fight we're getting kinda robbed. But if I'm right about this, just. . . holy fuck. Anywho, regardless of all of this, I also have this far out/introspective Comic Idea that takes place at this moment. I'm going to call it an AU at this point because we get S19 in a month. But I wanna see if I can get the comic done before then. Let's say Church has one last internal conversation with someone, and gives them a temporary promotion... providing they help him and step their lazy ass up.

why did jon have to die right when i started liking his character :/ i’m sure he’ll be back bc i’ve already been spoiled for this and like everyone says he’s gonna warg back to life. him stannis and tyrion are the ceos of having terrible pr. like what he was doing was not wrong at all but he’s just not good at dealing with people. to be fair the odds are stacked against him but telling everyone IN A SPEECH he’s gonna ride to winterfell was the same level of stupidity as ned in kings landing. i do want him to clear his name though. at least unlike ned he was doing what is best for the people. whereas ned…he really didn’t need to be doing all that for…robert? his sense of duty? what was the reason?

anyway daenerys has become one of my favourites i never really cared for her pov that much in the previous books except maybe agot but she becomes such a strong person in adwd. i like how her storyline parallels jon a lot like they’re both attempting to lead the best they can in a compassionate way and making a lot of mistakes bc they’re so young and then they both “die” at the end. tbh im really hoping she can get away from khal jhaqo but i did see that mago will become an important character in the next book so i doubt it. maybe she’ll take over their khalasar that would be kind of slay. the one thing i don’t want her to do is join up with victarion or euron like euron for obvious reasons but victarion needs to die too. he’s a leech that thinks he’s a king. I have somewhat changed my mind about some of the Greyjoy pov characters like all that didn’t need to happen to aeron or Theon or Asha who has grown on me a lot. but like also this is the culmination of their culture, could they expect any better? Aeron is still yapping abt the old way like dude euron is the old way. The ultimate form of the old way. and ngl quentyn is kind of an idiot. Dumber than Jon, dumber than Ned, almost as dumb as Theon but at least Theon has the excuse of he was kinda screwed no matter what he just happened to choose the most painful option. Tbh I was kinda hoping he could do it it’s a little disappointing but rip in peace. Quentyns moron friends pissed me off though never talk shit about the queen. also i was talking shit abt cersei last book but i hated the walk of shame. it was nasty. very very nasty thing to do to someone. seeing her conversation with kevan in the epilogue made me sad. cersei shouldn’t be like that she should be an evil paranoid bitch that’s who she is 😢 they took away her fire. i’m sure she’s just biding her time though. Nonetheless Cersei character development is 🫶🏽

also i’m not gonna lie i hope the jon connington/aegon stuff gets shut down quickly i don’t care for them and they’re getting in the way of daenerys future rule. they were introduced too late like who do they even think they are. Basically Victorian 2.0 I liked aegon better when he was a dead baby. tbh i’m actually hoping the people of Westeros form a democracy or something but baby steps. then again all this death needs to be worth something like the system has to change by the end. i’m kind of hoping all the female pov characters inherit the world but daenerys on top of course.

i apologize for the wording in that ask lol. using the lalondes as an example again but better hopefully,, kid rose is sent in place of kid roxy and the same with their guardian counterparts. so rose grows up in post apocalyptic fish land with jake, jane, and dirk, while roxy is raised by guardian rose and is friends with john, jade, and dave. you can do this with any player duo like the captors, vantas’s etc but only just them. ur just swapping them around pre and post scratch. ig the question is more what swap would u be most intrigued by :)?

It's kinda hard to imagine how some characters would be in different circunstances, as the enviroment is one of the primary things that shapes a person. But I doubt The Condesce/Adult Meenah in Beforus would be the same tyrant she was on Alternia. Meenah has been shown to be cruel (with bullying Damara so extremely that Damara straight up killed her) but also as someone who cares about their friends, like when she starts crying to June about Aranea.

So I think a Condesce rulling Beforus WOULD definitly change the way it is. First I really doubt they would have the Cuddling system the way Beforus Feferi had it, as Meenah literally tried to shape her team to become stronger, in the worst way possible and she ended up failling, but at least that was her plan. So Beforus in the rule of The Condesce would probably start to become like a less hellish Alternia?

But also Meenah was shaped by Beforus Feferi and not wanting to be like her so maybe The Condesce wouldnt have a need to try to make everything harsher? I think she would just be like, Royalty who is worshippped like Gods. Maybe she pulls up fight tournaments from time to time to not get bored and to shape the Trolls to not be ''lame''. This place is probably ridden with lots of inequality, but so was OG Beforus so its not that much of a change.

Basically she would be an uninterested Ruler who is just enjoying the fruits of being basically a Goddess to her people

Like I feel she wouldnt try to change things in Alternia after coming to power, like I really doubt she is a fucking Nice ruler considering how Alternia is, but I think she has her doubts of how things are like, with how much unnecesary death there is. I think she would be a harsh and cruel ruler who definitly see's Lowbloods pitfully, but when she listens to the Sufferer's speechs and decides to meet with the him in private to hear his demand, I feel that The Handmaid would frame The Sufferer as if he was trying to murder Beforus Feferi and she would quickly change her mind.

Meenah in Alternia I really doubt would be having a good time, she would have to be feeding her lusus on her own, threat of murder with her ancestor, and the general Murderland that is Alternia

I don't think Beforus Feferi left the planet in this case or maybe she is much closer than the OG Condesce, pressuring Meenah to become a fit ruler for Alternia makes Meenah stressed

She calmed down instantly, became super respectful, all of the sudden I was allowed to disagree and she understood where I was coming from, even though my arguments hadn't changed at all. All it took was pretending to be a man pretending to be a woman. No more snarks, no more personal attacks, no more rudeness. My friends saw the conversation and were bewildered as well. EHEHEHEHEH YES okay so this is still a very early draft brewing in my head rn, it’s basically an oc x Serennedy thing.

this is gonna be long, sorry.

it starts with my oc —i’m giving him my default self-insert name of Sylas as of now but that might change later— is an Umbrella researcher alongside Luis, (lab partners with unresolved romantic tension) and Sylas discovers the shady shit Umbrella is actually doing and travels to Raccoon city to testify against them. but he’s captured by Umbrella only a day before the trial, about 10 days before the outbreak.

the events of RE2 progress as normal for a bit, but there are multiple files that can be found in the police station talking about an Umbrella whistleblower who mysteriously vanished the day before his trial.

Luis goes to Raccoon city to search for Sylas, but instead finds a shit ton of zombies! Leon finds him and saves his ass and they buddy up for a while. Luis is shaken and kinda guarded so he doesn’t mention his affiliation with Umbrella, only telling Leon that he’s from out of town and came to look for his missing friend.

Scattered across the different areas are multiple cassette tapes left behind by Sylas, giving insights about Umbrella and the viruses. he mentions that he feels that he’s being watched and gets more and more paranoid with each recording. when the gang reaches the NEST, they find Sylas’ last two recordings, the first is a conversation between him and Annette Birkin, basically confirming it all to be true but that he won’t live to tell anyone. the last tape is badly damaged, only distorted screams being audible, and at the end, a weak farewell to his old friend.

a body was never found, but everyone comes to the conclusion that Sylas is dead, and Leon advises Luis to get out while he still can, and he does with the help of Ada. he returns to his hometown and tries to forget everything that happened.

the rest of RE2 plays out as usual, and same with RE4 until Leon and Luis team up again, it takes them a minute to recognize each other, but their dynamic doesn’t really change.

Sylas never died, instead he was experimented on and eventually turned into a B.O.W. his mind just barely still intact. he somehow ends up in the custody of Los Illuminados, and one day while wandering aimlessly he hears a familiar voice in the distance.

the gang (Leon, Ashley & Luis) is truckin along, Luis is yapping about something or other when they all hear what sounds like whispering. as they continue on they realize that the weak, raspy voice is calling out for Luis, who is reasonably freaked the fuck out. the voice gets louder and seems to be approaching them. Leon turns the corner, weapon drawn and ready to fire. but instead of the owner of the voice attacking, it cowers, with barely understandable pleads for mercy. the B.O.W. is seemingly passive and capable of human speech, even if horribly out of practice. the rest of the gang approaches to find out what’s happening and the creature clearly recognizes Luis, and after a closer look, so does he. Luis realizes he’s looking at what remains of his old —supposedly dead— friend and lab partner.

B.O.W. Sylas joins the gang and helps them through the rest of RE4, turns out he can actually fight when he wants to! because of this, Luis reveals his past affiliation with Umbrella to Leon a bit earlier here.

that’s about all i have planned out currently. Luis survives in this, i have two scenarios in mind for the end.

if Krauser’s knife misses and Luis doesn’t become paralyzed, everyone escapes the first time. Luis and Sylas return to the States with Ashley and Leon. and they begin the process of clearing Luis’ name, and figuring out what to do with Sylas so that he won’t be killed immediately out of fear. (i haven’t figured out a design for B.O.W. Sylas yet so there might be a way for him to disguise himself as a normal human to some extent)

if the knife hits and Luis does become paralyzed, Sylas stays to protect and nurse him back to health. Sylas urges Leon to complete his mission and get Ashley back to the States, reluctantly, he does so. once the mission is declared completed, Leon starts to pull some strings to bring Luis and Sylas back, if they’re even still alive… (spoilers, they are.)

i know you've spoken about it before but i was wondering if u had any like,,, extended thoughts on ik being nightbrought? sorry if it's too much to ask lol i'm just in such a brainrot over lesson 12 rn!!!

i do have some!! some things have changed since the game first came out... i'll jot some down under the cut ^^

after giving it some more consideration i've changed my mind about removing the future!solomon lifeline, since nb has since opened up a whole BUNCH of cool stuff you could do with his character that only really works if its the solomon from the og game

so he's there too now!

there are like two main directions you could take with ik in this situation; one where she's incredibly stressed out (and understandably upset) about the whole situation, and another where she takes a look at it and just goes 'fuck it we ball'

considering that she's still only just gotten out of the whole belphie arc in jtta, i'm gonna go with the latter because she deserves to be whimsical

also it kind of goes with nightbringer - despite seemingly being much darker on the surface, it's a lot goofier than the og in many aspects

so ik is obviously extremely disoriented upon first getting nightbrought, but i think she'd actually figure out what's happened really quickly - after having done it before, she recognises the ~feeling~ she gets in the aftermath of time travel

also she knows the brothers extremely well at this point, so she'd recognise that they're very different demons suddenly

future solomon shows up and confirms ik's suspicions, and he starts doing this whole reassuring speech thing about how it's all gonna be fine, i'll take care of you, we'll be home in no time

solomon ends up essentially acting as ik's guardian, and he takes the duty very seriously ( rather than ebing his apprentice he refers to ik as his ward)

meanwhile ik's having the time of her life (as long as she doesn't stop to think too hard about her situation)

she's barely even intimidated by any of the brothers anymore - maybe mammon would, because she's never had him get violent or genuinely angry with her and isn't expecting it, but that's the thing - he's never gonna do that with his kiddo, no matter the time

basically it's like that ask about how she'll respond to satan getting all snarly by growling back at him. her responses to being threatened are always so happy-go-lucky that it just makes the demon threatening her forget to be evil and stuff

in terms of the thinking she's a demon thing... i do still think diavolo would recognise that someone this small couldn't possibly be a demon, but it'd be funny if solomon was like 'nah she's just small for her age' and he's just like 'oh word'

belphie and ik make fast friends! i still like this idea, and while the lilith wound is still very fresh, ik's always been good at patching scars up

i think this fast friendship also works better for making belphie question his convictions about humans - since he starts liking ik of his own volition and not necessarily because she's already done stuff for his brothers

in my head i feel like belphie would see that as him being obligated to like her - like, you saved my twin brother, i have to be nice to you now... he'd still come around to just genuinely enjoying her company, but it'd take longer (and make it more difficult for him to confront the lilith thing)

but! i still think mammon would be ik's first friend among the brothers - in the beginning, belphie avoids her since she's human, and it's only after she's already close to mammon that he starts talking to her

ik befriends the other brothers in a similar order to in jtta, with the exception that lucifer doesn't truly warm up to her for a little while longer

in jtta, he starts getting fond of her pretty early on, it just takes a while for it to manifest as the same sort of bond she has with, say, mammon

whereas in this nightbringer situation, because ik's so unafraid of him and not willing to put up with his shit, while still fiercely fighting for him to be kinder to himself, lucifer's not sure how to handle that - and compensates by being extra cold

of course he's also probably the most affected by the recent celestial war, and while ik helps with that, it's only when she's in combination with the rest of his brothers (once she's befriended them) that lucifer would be able to start healing properly

in general, ik's sheer confidence in the devildom (despite being a very different place to the one she knows, there's just a feeling of familiarity and home that transcends time) helps the brothers get settled in too

like, if this human can be so at home down here, as demons, they should be able to as well

diavolo would especially like ik's attitude - she was already friendly in jtta, but here (having already known his goofy future self), she's extra affable with him, and he just likes having a friend

barbatos appreciates ik for this reason - but he's also cautious, because he can't shake the feeling that she knows more than she lets on... something is off about time, and he can't figure out what

aside from her relationships to the characters... let's bring this back to ik being unexpectedly flippant about the situation, and solomon acting as guardian

to take this in the direction of angst (which you were probably more expecting in the first place): ik would potentially get very reckless in nightbringer

more so than she already is in jtta - remember that stunt she pulls in asmo's arc, where she has a stupid idea and charges at henry 1.0 to try acting as bait? she's like that all the time now

while solomon's glad she's not taking this all too hard, it's extremely worrying how little ik seems to care about getting home in one piece

part of it is because ik's still holding that trust she has for the brothers in the future - unconsciously, she fully believes that they'd never hurt her, even if her logical mind tells her that nothing's off the table with these past versions

part of it is because ik is torn up that her family suddenly doesn't know her again, and some piece of her just... doesn't care anymore? if you're going to take away that from her, you might as well kill her

and maybe a part of ik just wants to see if they'd care if she did get hurt

solomon, while also pretty easy-going for someone in his situation (similar to in canon nb), is at least cautious about his and ik's safety. ik just straight up doesn't seem to care

... and that's about all i have for now! i'll ruminate on it some more ^^ maybe i'll have some more thoughts once i've finished lesson 12
