Leah. Leah I’m shaking and I am literally crying rn. I’m so happy for them. I know they’re not real, but they got their happy ending. To some it all up: if you added All those songs lines up and percentaged it out you know who comes out on top? V! He gets 23.8% of the lines with JK coming in 2nd at 22.6 and JM in third with 21.2%. So again maybe you should be claiming that they favor V and RM and not JK. I mean they gave V a movie too. Jin also has the most OSTs . ( I got this from a Korea boo post of all places 😂)

2. Your second piece of evidence is that they didn’t tell JM that his song was being used in the movie.

Ok. He didn’t know at the time of that filming. Why is that some nefarious plot against him? They were busy. I mean they somehow messed up on the taxes too. I am sure that whoever was in charge is a human who messed up. Or JM was told but at a time when he was busy thinking about something else. Who knows why? You sure don’t and neither do I. But does that mean that they favor JK? No. It is of no benefit to him to withhold this information from JM.

3. Your third piece of evidence is that Sungwoon asked JM to do the OST.

JM has been the top rated idol in Korea for years. He consistently tops the charts for brand rating. He is in the undeniably biggest group in the country and, in my opinion, world. They have left the status of idol group behind and are easily musical legends that will be discussed for decades to come. A group like that has many inquiries for their time and talent. I am certain it is very hard to get anyone in BTS to do a project for someone. A good business person will use any and all methods to reach their intended target. In this case, they used JMs friend Sungwoon to try and get his attention. And it worked. They were clearly using Sungwoon because they wanted only JM but JM had them both do it together. That says a lot to me about JMs character and his respect for his friend. Did the OST people use back channels to get their intended target? Yes. Does that mean that “the company” deliberately withheld it from JM? No. Does that mean they favor JK? No. Again. He does not benefit in any way from this.

Last claim, Nothing will ever reach JM if it is going through the company.

You seem to have a bad opinion of Hybe. You know that BTS partially owns Hybe, right? They have a lot of stock in the company. They have re-signed their contracts. They speak well of them and how they care for them. I will never pretend to know their exact relationship with the company, and neither can you, but they spend a lot of their downtime at the building. I just don’t see any drama between the group and the company.

I don’t know what your beef is with JK but you really haven’t done your homework. So back to to your original question… how do I feel comfortable saying there is no favoritism for JK? Because I see this group for what they are. Each one is uniquely contributing to the success of the group. Each one is a special and valuable member. Despite what I did here to argue against your claim and evidence, I don’t count their lines. I don’t put their value or worth on how many collabs they have or how many lines they get. Or how many minutes of video time they have. I see that they love one another . And I love each of them. I don’t see any evidence of anything other than talented, kind, smart men who have the ability to pursue whatever they want to and who are actively choosing their own paths in life and the company actively helps them to do that. The best thing about their success is that they no longer are the outcasts waiting for someone to give them a chance. They can turn down BBMA confidently. They can turn Las Vegas purple. They can dance in the UN. The world is at their feet.

Anon, I hope you start to see BTS for the special people they are and stop with your solo member agenda. Especially for JM. He is the least solo person in the group. sorry to potentially derail,, u know, the actual topic of this blog, but you’re a horse trainer !! that’s so cool, it was my dream job as a kid 💛 can you tell us a bit about it?

you have reached the point at which my two greatest passions in life intersect. one thousand words betide thee

i've always been a horse girl (gender neutral term), i took lessons as a kid for several years until it got too expensive, then volunteered for a while, then started working at camps as barn staff in high school. this summer i'm doing my 6th season as camp barn staff. i thought i was done but this lady was really nice and really wanted me to work there and i have problems saying no to people. however teaching summer camp is not the same as actual horse training and i don't intend to do it forever. i also do french classical dressage (as opposed to modern/competition dressage sorry for sounding pretentious but theyre different), i did 15 months as a working student for that over the pandemic and i'm actually going back there for like a month and a half before the camp starts because they need help and i miss my horse friends.

specifically i am invested in ethical, soft, compassionate, scientifically backed approaches to training and problem solving. also i'm literally two inches away from finally getting my fucking degree in animal science, which is related. i also would like to do internships/working student jobs in eventing and rehabilitation, and there's a place in spain i'm looking at going to as well. so i'm not actually a horse trainer yet, but hopefully that's where i'm headed (unless and until i break my spine at the age of 26 or something and then i will probably just study theology and become a nun)

now i'm going to make this tangentially about god because i never get to talk about the spiritual dimensions of animal training and husbandry but now i am because it IS a good church and one of my favorite things to think about and this is my blog. working with animals can be a deeply spiritual experience if you allow it to be. many people come to it (especially with horses) with the mindset that you must be "dominant" or "#1" or "the alpha" in order for the horse to "respect" and obey you. not only is this shit fucking obnoxious as hell, it has been disproven numerous times and no good equine behaviorist will ever be saying people should act like that towards animals. horses literally do not have the brain function to understand concepts like respect (or spite, or mind games, or intentionally being evil, or most of the other things people make up to justify undesired behaviors). which is not to say methods that perpetuate these ideas don't work, they can, but it is going to come at the cost of the mental, emotional, and possibly physical health of the horse and likely yourself, and it is going to create other issues that it cannot solve. incidentally, communities where this kind of mindset is popular tend to run rampant with sexism, racism, toxicity and abuse (fuck you clinton anderson, rick gore, george morris, etc). actual good horse training requires more work on yourself than the horse, which is why it can be very spiritual. it also takes longer than most people want. horses are honest and true to themselves, they cannot be otherwise, and in this way i think they are excellent mirrors and conduits for the divine. if you can know this and recognize that there is always a reason for what they do (even if it's not a "good" reason or doesn't make sense to you) and not pass judgment or take offense, then you begin to let go of your ego and move towards compassion and understanding.

horses also require a level of consistency and being present to build genuine connection that is difficult to maintain, but is so immensely important....they don't have a concept of the future. they are entirely in the present with what their past has taught them, an aspect of which may be whether or not they can know what to expect from you, which for a prey animal (really for all of us) is vital. animals know when you are not there with them mentally, and they understand lack of consistency. one of my favorite quotes regarding horses is from ray hunt "they know when you know, and they know when you don't." they are simply there, and if you can really be there with them, that is a very great gift.

a cornerstone of my philosophy about horses is that they (and we) want to "be seen and heard, feel felt, and get gotten" (sarah schlote) and i think this is also what god does for us. there is immense power in being with someone in their vulnerability with a total lack of judgment, it facilitates connection like little else. horses get trauma and have to relearn trust too and helping them through it is a very unique and rewarding experience. i channel the stability and peace and consistency i get from god when i work with horses and it's like the most important part.

also there's undeniably an esoteric aspect of working with animals that people don't necessarily talk about because it's hard or impossible to quantify. i say this as a person invested in science with a not insignificant skeptic streak, when animal training is reduced to pure quantifiable reinforcement quadrant behaviorism it becomes quite flat. this is the other side of the pendulum from "the horse is playing tricks on you" anthropomorphism. fortunately modern animal behaviorism has moved beyond the skinner box so i want to say this isn't really a problem and i'm definitely more concerned with anthropomorphization, but worth mentioning that science is a growing thing and there are areas it hasn't reached yet.

He’d already been there for almost 20 minuets yet he was still panicking over the tiniest of details. Who knew Jake Wyler could be such a baby when it came to your father, Ransom Drysdale?

The two of you had been dating for over two months now. The only reason you had really met Jake and had so much in common was because his mother just so happened to be your private tutor. Hired by none other than your father, Ransom Drysdale, who just so happened to be the one your boyfriend was terrified of.

If you’d have known that then maybe you would have never actually invited him over in the first place. No scratch that, you definitely still would have brought him since Jake pacing and panicking was 100% becoming your favourite and thing in the world. Causing it to almost land you in a fit of giggles on your bed. Of course you’d attempted to hold back your laughter but no matter how hard you tried it only came bubbling back to the surface much stronger then before. Due to that very issue, it had only been a matter of time before the giggled got the best of you and you were doubling over in fits of laughter.

Noticing this Jake whined, he fucking whined to show his disapproval with your actions. Could he not have growled? At least then he wouldn’t have fuled your enjoyment. “Y/nnnnnnnn” he whined, drawing out the last letter of your name to make it sound even whiner.

“Whattttttttt?” You responded, repeating his technique of drawing out that last words. Practically mimicking his comment.

“Your father is thee Ransom Drysdale!” He yelled, pretty much terrified of him.

“Yeah I know he’s my father after all...” you replied, clearly not in the mood since all you really brought Jake up here for was a quick make out session and some cuddles before he’d have to escape out the window so Ransom wouldn’t notice him.

“Stop laughing y/n! I really like you but I also really like my head attached to my body” He panicked, causing you to instantly stop your hysterics and look towards him with as much sincerity as physically possible, yet you just couldn’t stop yourself from laughing just a tiny bit more.

After a little while longer you finally managed to calm your short breaths from laughing, slowly standing up as you pulled him towards you before cupping his cheeks in your hands. That little pout on his face getting slightly wider as he looked into your eyes “I can’t help it baby! You look so adorable freaking out. It’s cute. But you seriously have nothing to worry about. My dad won’t find out. You just have to be gone on an hour so just relax okay?” You explained softly as you ran your fingers of your right hand through his hair whilst the other caressed his cheek gently.

Finally Jake calmed down, leaning into your touch as his own hands made their way to your waist somehow fully calm at this point as he leaned down and captured your lips. Kissing you with a lot more passion than before just enjoying the moment until he finally pulled away to speak. “Okay okay. I’ll stop worrying but I’m trusting you” he groaned before pulling you back into yet another kiss. It wasn’t long before the both of you were on your bed, Jake on top of you as the two of you were making out. Clearly this was all Jake needed in order to calm down and you were happy enough to fulfill that.

“That Fucking Walt!” Ransom groaned to himself as he stretched his arms out infront of him, cracking his neck ever so slightly before finally pulling himself from his car.

Being at his family’s home for the last couple of hours had seemed to do much more harm to Ransoms mood then it had good. Then again he had always despised the rest of his family, never truly getting along with them due to the fact that they were all truly dicks. But today? Well today had been all kinds of stressful. For some unknown reason Linda had decided that today of all days was the perfect time to force Ransom and the rest of the Drysdales and Thrombys into one room so that they could ‘catch up’. Although it wasn’t exactly a catch up, it was more just argument after argument. However, this particular argument had been worse than the others.

Ransom had always been good at keeping you out of conversations, always making excuses as to why he was always busy at home when he didn’t have a job. However, today he hadn’t been so quick at hiding his phone as Jacob had noticed the incoming call appearing on his phone with the words ‘Y/n’s Tutor’ in a large font appearing alongside it. At first the former playboy had attempted to play it off as some kinky nickname for some girl he’d fucked,but that hadn’t seemed to work well due to the words on his phone.

He’d fucked up. So he came clean. Explaining very viciously and rudely that you were his daughter. Of course that hadn’t gone down to well, in fact the family had resulted into just insulting and threading each other as well as Ransom. Clearly pretending to be hurt by his decision to keep them in the dark about you. But he saw through that facade, they weren’t brilliant liars none of them were. What had pissed Ransom off the most though was Walts last words.

“you should bring your daughter here some time to meet us. Don’t we deserve the right to meet her?”

The fact that Walt had even suggested that in the first place had caused Ransoms blood to boil to the point where his fists clenched. He’d kept you out of their lives for a reason and now they wanted to be in your life? Hell no, he wouldn’t ever allow that. Yet everyone seemed to agree it was only ‘fair’ that he did that. But why should he bring you into this part of his life? You didn’t deserve that yet he was forced to take you there next Saturday....he may have hated his family but god did that have a brilliantly twisted way of manipulating people into doing exactly what they wanted. Not that Ransom was manipulated, he just couldn’t force himself to listen to his parents yelling at him and calling him a failure anymore. So he went along with it. Oh he was aware you’d hate it but what other choice did he have? Exactly he didn’t.

With one more grumble the former playboy pulled himself away from his beloved Beemer, running his hand across his newly shaven face before finally walking over to the front door and letting himself in. He was an hour early but it wasn’t exactly like he cared, especially since he knew you would probably just be up in your room watching tv or studying. Or at least he thought that’s what you were doing.

Little did he know that you were actually practically making with your boyfriend of 2 months. Yeah you shouldn’t have continued kissing him but you were happy with him clearly.

“Y/n!” Your father called from the front door, taking a quick scan from where he was standing to see if he could see you. Which of course he hadn’t, so like any other parent he just assumed that you were upstairs catching up with homework.

However, the ever so slight sound of the words ‘Jake window now!’ seemed to concern Ransom. Surely he’d heard it wrong right? He didn’t want to believe it. Did you have someone over without his permission?

Assuming he’d heard wrong, the male shook his head. Wandering into the kitchen to get get himself a light snack before dinner. But, as soon as he heard that same words repeated again he was up the stairs in a flash.

What he saw when he swung your bedroom door open had his blood boiling even more than it had been before. You, his (up until now) innocent 16 year old daughter, making out with your tutors son. This had to be a dream right?

“Y/n what the fuck were you thinking?!” He growled, not exactly giving a shit about the fact that he was most likely spooking you. Of course you hadn’t exactly expected him to react the way that he had but you couldn’t blame him.

“Dad I c—“ you began before being cut off.

“No! We’ll talk about this later!” He explained before turning back to Jake “now you get the fuck out!”

“Dad no! He’s not leaving!” You spoke angrily as you looked towards Jake, practically begging him not to leave.

Oh he was mad now, that much was clear from his face. “You don’t get a say in this!” He growled once again before turning back towards Jake “you get the fuck out of my house now before I drag you out!” And with that Jake had zoomed out of the room, racing down the stairs and practically throwing himself out of the door. Yeah he wasn’t coming back.

“D—“ you began but before you could Ransom interjected.

“I’ll talk to you later! Now do some studying or something and don’t come downstairs for a couple hours. I don’t wanna see you right now!” He once again growled raising his voice before turning on his heel and leaving.

Yeah you were in for it.

Some stuff from 2020 that I actually liked

Okay, so 2020 was a godawful year, we all agree. But a lot of good did happen to keep us sane, so I want to go ahead and list everything that made me happy last year. Also, note that some of these things actually debuted earlier than 2020, but I came across it in 2020, so it counts for me.

TV!

-The Hollow.

The Hollow is a truly underappreciated show. A cool premise and interesting characters that just got better every episode.

The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance.

This is one of the best single-season shows I’ve ever seen. Absolutely brilliant, and fuck you Netflix for pulling the plug!

Keep Your Hands Off Eizouken!

This show is not my thing by any means, and I would never have checked it out if the opening wasn’t so attention-grabbing. Glad I did, because it gave me genuine joy. Though it probably should have debuted later in the year, since it seems custom-made for the quarantine months. 

She-Ra and the Princesses of Power: Season 5

What more can I say? One of my favorite shows of all time going out with a fantastic bang. God, I love this show.

There wasn’t a lot of movies worth talking about this year, and fewer that I actually saw. This one had the good fortune to drop just in time to dominate the box office right before quarintine shut everything down. And for a film with such an uninspired premise, such a problematic production, and being a video game movie no less, it just brought me so much joy.

Homestar Runner was my first favorite thing on the internet, and I spent many hours playing through Stinkoman 20x6 well over a decade ago. So when they finally announced the final level mere days before flash died forever, it was a big of closure I never thought I would get.

This game was a surreal delight. More like this, please!

Hollow Knight

On the other end of the spectrum, good lord was exploring the world of Hollownest a joy. Can’t wait for Silksong!

This is probably my guiltiest of guilty pleasures, because unlike other guilty pleasures like To Love-Ru or the Hollywood Undead in which their unashamed schlockiness is part of the charm DitVB is largely a fantastic vampire story with a richly drawn world, great characters, a compelling plot, and some truly great action. It just has that one really gross aspect that overshadows everything else, and unfortunately is promoted as its main selling point. That being said, I was happy to see it return.

you were a senior at andover high school on a roadie up to your annual trip in duluth. youve been taking this trip since your freshman year as you were one of the first players to ever make varsity as a freshman. that being said, this was your year, this was the year you had to show out. being named captain this season not only did you have to step up and lead the team, but you also had to focus on your game as it was your year to get scouted. you’d been looked at by minnesota-duluth, boston college, and minnesota, but all you wanted was to go to wisconsin, and this was your year to make it happen.

“y/n/n, are you ready to see all the hot duluth boys this weekend? i heard their varsity team plays at the same time of us and they have the wisco hot shot ryder donovan.” lilly said bouncing up and down in the seat next to you. you and lilly had been best friends ever since you met eachother at little wild camp 12 years ago. “y/n are you even listening”, “oh yeah sorry lil, just thinking about this weekend, did you know wisconsin scouts are gonna be there, i dont know if i can do this lil, i cant mess up, my future relies on this weekend” you exclaimed, trying not to freak out. “y/n/n you’ll be great i promise, but we should get some rest, weve still got 1.5 hours left and we’ve got a big game against east tonight.” you nod your head in agreement, dozing off into a deep sleep.

after an hour and a half of driving you arrive at the rink, getting up you fix your hair and adjust your sweats and parka and get ready to go grab your bag. after grabbing your bag, you start to head into the rink when you hear lil and ken start screaming, turning your head you see what all the fuss is about. and there he is. standing right before your eyes. ryder donovan. you’ve seen him in pictures as you followed him and some of his friends on instagram, but wow he was even prettier in person.

stumbling into the rink you make your way into the locker room gearing up to take the ice for warmups at duluth heritage. stepping onto the ice you complete your typical warmup of one-timers, slaps, and some stretching before noticing two big things in the stands. wisconsins top scout, and wisconsins top recruit, ryder. you didnt like it, but you just couldnt take your eyes off him.

the game begins and you take the ice playing your heart out making a clean goal through the five hole and racking in two more assists. after taking the ice to begin the last 20 mins of play, you get ready to take the faceoff for the third period. you win the faceoff clean and go to prepare to set yourself up to take a one-timer on the net. thats when tragedy strikes, when bringing your stick back to recieve the one-timer, before you know it you’re slammed into the boards on a cross check. tumbling down you hear a snap, a snap so loud that you watch the scout and ryder jump to their feet. as the athletic trainer scrambles to try and get you off the ice, you’re taken off the ice on a stretcher as you cant seem to put any weight on your right leg.

on the way to the hospital all you can think is why me, why now, why today. knowing it was probably your acl, you knew you were done for the season, that was it, it was over. scrolling through your twitter you saw your team won 5-2, which put your team in an excellent spot to start the season.

you arrived at the hospital and settled into your bed when a quite familiar but unfamiliar face walked into your toom. left speechless you see the 6’3 brunette standing in your doorway. “hey im ryder, i know you probably dont know me but i know you, you’re all the wisconsin scout has talked about for the past year and as im committed there i knew i had to see what the girls team is gonna have to offer and let me tell you, you looked incredible out there” ryder says shakily, messing with his fingers. you thank ryder and invite him into your room to sit on the chair. “trust me ryder i know you, youre all the girls have talked about after finding out that we played east this season, and youre committed to my dream school so theres that too, but theres no way the wisconsin scout wants anything to do with me, especially now that i have a double torn acl” you said, pointing down at your stitched up and wrapped knee, trying not to cry.

the next day, lil picked you up to bring you back to your hotel. on the car ride there you told her about everything that happened last night but when telling her you felt you sounded crazy, theres no way that thee ryder donovan went to visit YOU at the hospital and there’s absolutely no way that the wisconsin scout actually liked you. that was until you saw the instagram notification pop up on your screen... rydesdono would like to send you a message. you were shocked, theres no way that actually happened, but you opened the dm anyways to see what there was to say.

speechless you instantly call lilly and tell her everything, who freaks out the second you mention his name. as much as she doesnt believe it, you dont either. how is it that getting injured led you to a hot shot hockey player that is committed to the same school you are (yep thats right, wisco gave you an offer!!), one who’s actually genuine and nice AND insanely attractive. its mind blowing, but knowing theres no way this goes anywhere, as youd have to take the 2 hour drive back to andover in two days and probably wouldnt see ryder again until next year when you were both at wisconsin.

about an hour and a half later you hear two quiet knocks at your door, yelling “come in” at the sound. from your bed you see the cute hockey player who walks in from the doorway carrying the bag of food he got from grandmas, which happened to be your favorite restaurant in duluth. ryder sets the food on the table getting your food prepared so you didnt have to get up. he brings your food over to you and you invite him to sit next to you on your bed. you turned on your tv to the umd vs minnesota game as you rest your head on ryder who had just put his arm around you after you both finished eating. after talking for hours, that really felt like 10 mins, ryder decided that he should probably get back home and even if you didnt want him to go, you agreed.

for weeks after that you and ryder talked and talked for hours on end nonstop whether it was through snapchat, messages, or facetime. even though you only lived two hours apart, your schedules clashed too much to ever be able to meet up with eachother again. eventually after a year later you had completed your physical therapy and were ready to start your first year as a badger, but most importantly you were eager for ryder to get into town so you could hug the gorgeous brunette again.

when arriving at labahn, you were preparing yourself for the first day of practice and your next meet up with ryder, as the boys were using labahn as well as kohl center was undergoing some remodeling. you pull your bag out of your grand cherokee when you saw the brunette, and just like the first time you saw him your heart stopped. dropping your bag you ran in a dead sprint to see him as he dropped his bag and ran towards you wrapping his arms around your shoulders as if its been decades since youve last seen him as he held you for what felt like forever, when ryder whispered into your ear, “so hospitals really do make miracles happen” as he picked you up to kiss you before making your way into practice, knowing that without your injury you may have never found eachother the way you did.

“Yes Bullet Club is for life, but we’re Eternity.”

“Nova, Veronica, Sawyer you’re on in 10!” The producer yelled, knocking on the door of the dressing room. Though it wasn’t a dressing room, more like a closet. “We’ll be there in a second, damn!” Yelled Sawyer, trying to get her gear on in the tiny corner.

“It would be nice if they gave us an actual dressing room like the guys or something.” Veronica mumbled, pulling on her gear pants. Nova and Sawyer agreed. There could be thousands of dressing rooms, but they always got stuck in a janitor’s closet. “Could you imagine all three of us in our own private dressing rooms?” Nova fantasized as she tied her left boot.

The group of three had always had dreams, as small as a dressing room, to as big as being on the greatest stage of them all. But for now, a janitor’s closet, a couple bucks a night, and a high school gym would satisfy them.

“I got extra tips at the diner today so we can go out to eat after the show this time.” Sawyer announced, smiling towards Veronica, who had just told Sawyer about her craving for a milkshake earlier that day. “Oh thank God, the family I babysat for today only paid nine bucks for FIVE hours.” Nova complained, touching up her makeup.

“Nine?!” “Yeah, spoiled little white kids, AGAIN.”

Veronica and Sawyer chuckled, walking out the janitor’s closet, Nova following close behind.

The three friends had so much in common, but were so different. Like Sawyer for example, the tallest of the three and by far the smartest. She wasn’t afraid to take a bump in front of 10 people or 10,000. She would do whatever it took to make sure she ended up as one of the best professional wrestlers of all time.

Veronica, one of the sweetest people you’ll ever meet. Most people would call her a submission specialist, but making someone tap was just all in a day's work for her. She’ll do anything to put on the most entertaining match anyone in the crowd has ever seen, even if it’s acting like she almost died.

Nova however, was definitely a person who was ready to put on a show, taunts, hyping up the crowd and “OMG” moments were her specialty. She has gotten injured doing those special moves, many times, but she always got back up and showed out to put on the best performance.

All three of them had a purpose and decided they would stick together to reach it.

The whole roster was fond of how close they were. Others envied their success on the independent scene - except one of their closest friends, Warhorse. He was going to be on Dynamite tomorrow` to challenge Cody for his TNT Championship, but tonight, he was at the show, watching the trio wrestle.

They were walking closer to the “stage”, when he stopped them. “You will not believe who’s here!” Sawyer groaned, “Jake you know I hate guessing games so can you jus-”

“Tony Khan and Kenny Omega.” Their jaws dropped. “THE owner and EVP OF AEW?” Nova questioned. Veronica’s palms started to get sweaty. “Why are they here? I don’t even want to be here; there is no way the ACTUAL Kenny Omega and Tony Khan are sitting in a high school gym.” She wiped her hands on her pants and crossed them over her chest. “You don’t believe me? Well you guys will see in about an hour or so.” Warhorse smirked.

“We’re going out now, dipshit.” Sawyer insulted. Nova and Veronica laughed, but Warhorse had more to say, “Didn’t you hear? You guys have been bumped to the main event since the rich guys are out there.”

Suddenly calm, cool and collected Sawyer had her jaw to the floor. “Sawyer?” Nova whispered, shaking her friend's shoulder. “I can’t fly high and be energetic for the last 30 minutes of the show! I’ll break something or pass out!”

Veronica giggled at her friend’s nonsense, “You’ll be fine. C’mon, let's go watch the matches.”

Nova, Veronica and Sawyer sat by a monitor, watching the last few matches before their main event match. They were enjoying some of the two newer wrestlers face off when a hand slammed down on a table. They looked up and saw Madi Wrenkowski, fuming.

“They CUT my match so you guys could have your dumb main event.”

Sawyer held back laughter while Veronica spoke up, “Well it’s not our fault, we didn’t find out till five minutes ag-” “You think you’ll be big cause of a few matches? No way. Just stick to the janitor’s closet.” Madi scoffed, storming off.

“A few 5 star matches to be fair!” Nova called out, receiving a high five from her friends. It had been like this for a while, Madi going off on how she was “better”, but mean girls were SO high school.

They all took a deep breath, knowing it was their time to main event.

When the three reached the gorilla position. They saw Warhorse standing by the curtain waiting for them. Everyone was pretty happy that they got the opportunity to perform for someone like Kenny Omega, but deep down inside Veronica, Sawyer, and Nova knew that they deserved to be in the main event spot a long time ago.

“You three are going to kill it.” Warhorse smiled at his friends. He wondered how cool it would be to see them all in AEW at one time. “Thanks Jake.” Nova said. Sawyer was standing at the curtain, waiting for her cue.

“Say, bitch, I don’t wanna talk.”

Realer by Megan Thee Stallion blasted off the gym walls. The couple hundred of fans there jumped out of their seats to show their love for Sawyer, though she wasn’t supposed to be having such a loud reaction. She walked down the entrance way stopping at a young child who had their hand out for a high five. Sawyer went over to make it seem like she was about to, but smoothly pushed her hair back instead- flipping off the parents as well. As she got in the ring she took a quick scan to look for Kenny and Tony. She spotted them front and center in the front row she gave a sly smirk and went to one of the corners of the ring.

“TOOONIGHTTTTT-“

Nova shot out of the curtain while 24K Magic by Bruno Mars played in the gym. The crowd was also feeling the song as they got up and grooved. Even Tony Khan was bobbing his head along. Nova walked down to the ring, pep in her step. She gave people in the crowd high fives and hugs. She entered the ring and tried to get Sawyer to dance along, but backed away when Sawyer stood over her, glaring and clenching her fists. She walked over to her corner, climbing up to the second turnbuckle, waving at the whole crowd.

“I fly with the stars in the skies…”

Veronica pushed her black shades on as she smoothly walked through the curtain as “Moment 4 Life” by Nick Minaj came on the speakers. It was a perfect song to describe how she felt as she took the audience in at the top of the ramp. Her swagger was untouched but when she stepped in front of Kenny Omega, she felt his eyes never leave her which made her confidence blast through the roof. She used the stairs to get in and leaned on the ropes and waved to the other people that were there.

The three stared each other down, “this is awesome” chants from the crowd already starting. The ref asked all of them if they were ready, then called for the bell to ring. They all circled around the ring, the crowd wondering who was gonna hit first. Nova started taunting the two, planning to get the crowd on her side early in the match.

Sawyer had enough and tackled Nova to the ground, throwing punches, keeping away from the head. Veronica pulled Sawyer off, Sawyer widened her eyes, Veronica irish whipped Sawyer into the ropes, clotheslining her as soon as she came back. Veronica turned at the crowd, cheering along with them, not paying attention that Sawyer just did a kip-up behind her.

Veronica turned around just to be met with a kick to the face. Veronica turned around once, swaying side to side before falling to the ground, selling coming in clutch.

Nova came up from behind Sawyer, drop kicking her and making her fall to the mat. They planned to live to the phrase “fight forever”. Nova walked towards Veronica, dragging her up. Veronica started to gain her consciousness back, kicking Nova in the legs and Nova dodging as many as she could.

While they weren’t paying attention, Sawyer crawled towards the corner, climbing up the top rope, getting in position for a frog splash. It wasn’t till the crowd started screaming till Veronica and Nova looked towards the corner, Sawyer jumping off and crashing into both of them.

She stood up, hyping herself up, looking towards TK and Kenny, smirking.

*match skip*

Sawyer, Veronica, and Nova all struggled to get to their feet trying to use each other for balance. It had at least been 25 minutes of non stop action, and everyone was on the edge of their seat. Sawyer threw a punch in Veronica’s direction , but she attempted to counter it with an arm bar bringing her down to the mat. Nova saw the opportunity as she started to climb to one of the top turnbuckles. With Sawyer’s strength she manages to deliver a powerbomb to Veronica getting out of the arm bar. She crouched in the corner as Nova hit a devastating Macho Man like elbow drop.

But Sawyer broke up the pin by pulling Nova’s leg. Nova slapped Sawyer making Sawyer deliver a right hand back but harder, making her roll out the ring and on the apron. Veronica was slowly getting back up and Sawyer noticed as she charged towards her, making Veronica pull the top rope making her land on the outside. Veronica made her way to the apron where Nova was at; her back turned to Veronica not seeing her jump and wrap her legs around her neck for a reverse hurricanrana. With a loud thud, both of them rolled onto the floor in pain.

Sawyer crawled over , throwing Veronica in the ring and seeing Nova began to stir. Sawyer climbed to the top turnbuckle with her back turned to deliver a perfect moonsault, making the crowd gasp, and Tony and Kenny to stand up. Sawyer held her side, and rolled into the ring ready to finish the match. She stood in the ring, waiting for Veronica to get in position for her finishing move. Veronica stood and it was too late, and she tucked her chin ready for the impact of Sawyer’s devastating Canadian Destroyer.

Sawyer stood up, referee raising her arm in the air. She tried to bite back her smile but simply couldn’t. She watched as Veronica and Nova started to walk backstage, exiting the ring, breaking out of character as soon as she was behind the curtain.

Veronica, Nova and Sawyer started talking about the match, complimenting each other. “Excuse me ladies?” They looked over, and saw Tony Khan and Kenny Omega walking towards them. Nova spun around and almost caused Sawyer and Veronica to fall over. “Really impressive match out there. You know I didn’t think you guys would have met my expectations but I was way wrong.” Kenny admitted, and Tony agreed. “Yea , we would really love for you guys to come over to our company for a bit. Not on Dynamite yet, but some Dark matches maybe?” Tony suggested. They were beyond excited. Sawyer started imagining all of the memories she could create at AEW, and seeing some people she hadn’t seen in a while - until a certain person popped into her head. “I would love to wrestle for you guys, but does Wardlow know? Or is he even okay with this- “ Veronica gave Sawyer the death stare and Nova let out a laugh. “Wardlow? He’s the one that brought you guys up. He said you were all really talented, and since we’re looking for more women wrestlers you were the right people. Is there something going on between…” “NO.” Sawyer interrupted Tony.

“It’s complicated. I just wanted to make sure he was okay with working with me again.” Nova couldn’t believe Sawyer’s actions and it was making it extremely hard not to burst out of laughter on the spot. Veronica stood in between her friends listening closely to what Khan was saying. She felt eyes on her so she looked up and was met with Kenny’s soft stare. He smiled and looked away making her do the same.

“Yea, so tomorrow I was thinking you guys could get to Jacksonville and see Dynamite, then wrestle after the show?” Tony said. “That works fine with us.” Nova said, smiling wide

“Great!” Kenny said, smiling at Veronica. “Sawyer, Veronica?”

Sawyer and Veronica looked at each other, they could tell what they both were thinking just by the looks on their face. Veronica nodded, Sawyer spoke up, “Let’s do this.” “That’s great, the flight leaves at 11 tonight, so get there as fast as you can,” Tony said, looking at his phone, “Oh and Sawyer?”

Sawyer looked up, “Don’t interrupt me again.”

Nova couldn’t keep in her laughter anymore, not even when Veronica punched her arm and told her to shush. Tony and Kenny left the building, leaving the friends beaming and damn near tears. “Veronica and Kenny sitting in a tree!” Nova and Sawyer started to sing, making Veronica roll her eyes, “Yeah I’ll remember that when we see Wardlow tomorrow.”

Sawyer huffed. “But remember we promised if things ever ended up like this, we would stay together no matter what happens between any of us.” Nova brought up, talking about the promise they all made years before.

“Friends, no matter what.” They all said in unison, knowing in the back of their heads they would be friends for eternity.

It was still so terribly strange to be walking the paths of the Churning Mists, walking upright with the feet and toes of a girl rather than the claws. She still remembered the day she was struck down and sank beneath the waves of the Ruby Sea, the day her life forever changed. In the eyes of a human, it had been a millennium. For most dragons, it had only been yesterday.

To her…to Kadlin, it felt like eons.

The wind around her shifted, a strong gust bearing down on her from above and the light horned auri woman turned her gaze to the sky as the great, white feathered wyrm, Hreasvelgr, floated down to land in the clear beside her. She smiled softly and followed him, standing before him as he lowered his head to her.

“Kadlin, my daughter,” His rumbling voice soothed her as she embraced his snout, rubbing her cheek and scales against his fur, “I have missed you. It is good to see you well and safe.”

Kadlin nodded, looking up into his eyes with a sad smile, “I’ve missed you too, father.” She was glad the ancient tongue of her scaled ancestors had not left her just yet.

Hraesvelgr hummed, “Your eyes always remind me of your mother…And she would have been proud of you.”

“Perhaps not of everything, but hopefully most things she would have. I at least avenged her partly…in some way perhaps.”

The wyrm sighed in a low hiss, “Revenge was never Ratatoskr’s way. Her nature was far too kind and understanding…but yes, you have set that vengeful spirit free.”

Kadlin nodded, “I um…I’ve had a lot to think about lately and…” She stepped back from him and moved to settle herself on a rock behind her, pushing back the skirt of her red dress to not bunch up the fabric around her scaled tail, “And I think…I have an answer for that question finally.”

Hraesvelgr knelt down to lay in the grass, curling his tail and wings around her as he listened. She took a deep breath before looking him in the eye, “I…I wish to remain amongst the mortals. Amongst man and his world.”

“Thou wouldst still trade thy wings for legs?” He replied, “Even after so long of being without them and being so far from home?”

“Please, do not misunderstand, Father. Full glad am I to be able to come home again and you know not how happy I was to see you all again and to still be able to see you when I like…but I have also lived in another world. I have seen its joys, its sorrows, and I have felt them myself. There are experiences I would have never dreamed of having while clad in the scales of my youth.”

“You say as if you are not still young,” He chuckled, earning him a look from the little blonde form of his daughter.

“The point I mean to say is…I love my home here, but I also love my home there…and I wish not to have to choose between them…if I may. Meaning i wish to be able to choose freely between my wings and my flesh as a please…if possible.”

The white dragon pondered this for a moment before a question rang through the air, “You have already learned to call upon your scaled form again after your battle with Nidhogg’s shade, but I sense that is not the issue. What made you come to this decision?”

Kadlin smiled weakly and looked down at her hands, fiddling with the ring on her finger, “I don’t mean to answer your question with a question but…do you remember…what it was like when you first met Shiva?”

Hraesvelgr growled softly at the mention of the Elezen woman, his eyes turning to the clouds where the setting sun was streaming through them, “I shall never forget that day. The moment our gazes met, our hearts never parted, and never have to this day.”

Kadlin smiled up at him, “I never understood what you meant as a hatchling when you would say that. I thought it was such a crazy notion to think about, but…now I…”

“You have found your heart in another then?” Kadlin froze, listening for the anger in her voice or the disappointment, yet it was entirely unreadable, “And He is a mortal, isn’t he? A son of Thordan.”

Kadlin’s hand shook as she fiddled with the ring more, swallowing hard, trying to keep herself calm in the face of the powerful wyrm, “Are you angry with me?”

There was a silence that felt as if it lasted a century until saw his shadow shade her and felt him push his nose against her head with a soothing purr, “Never, child.”

Tears spilled over from Kadlin’s eyes as she nuzzled against him again, smiling gratefully as he continued, “I have learned thy heart enough now to never be angry with you for following your heart. As I said, your mother would have been proud.”

She wiped her tears as he drew back, confusion rewriting her features, “You knew? How?”

The great dragon laughed, pointing his nose to her ring that she was still fiddling with, “I may be an old wyrm, but I still know the customs of man.”

She scoffed lightly, “I never said you weren’t! But I am sorry if it seems I deceived you or hid something from you. It was not my intention.”

“I know this. Your intention is ever the purest one,” Hraesvelgr lowered his head until he was eye level with her and they gazed deeply into one another eyes, “I have spent centuries isolating myself from the world, pining for the loves I have lost. ‘Tis a fate I choose for myself in remembrance of those we have lost, but I would not wish it on anyone, especially not you, little one.” He touched his nose to her hand and said, “Kadlin, my daughter and daughter of Ratatoskr, first of the name ‘Sailehsdran’…of the dragons chosen by Hydaelyn, you are always welcome home, my child, and you have my blessing to follow the path your heart leads.”

Kadlin smiled brightly through her tears, wiping her damp cheeks with the back of her hand again and again to be able to see him clearly, happily laughing at her inability to stop them, “Thank you, Father. Thank you so much.”

“But tell that son of Thordan that if he dares to harm thee, I will see to it that there will be ought left but ash.” He chuckled darkly.

“I highly doubt you will need to worry about that with Ser Aymeric, but I’ll be sure to let him know, just perhaps a bit more gently so as not to scare him away,” Kadlin laughed with him.

He hummed in response, “I expect to see you before you are given away to him. Both of you, of course.”

“Whatever do you mean? I wouldn’t think of anyone else giving me over to my husband to be but im father. ‘Tis how the tradition must go, after all.”

It was sure to be a wedding Ishgard would not soon forget.

As the cool Autumn breeze hit her face, MC took a sip from the hot cup between her clothed hands. Today would mark the 15th year since the orphanage- her orphanage, had burned down. All 23 children and her parents except she had burned to an ash- less than that truly. She, with her ill body and frail stature, she, with her poor value and level of importance, she, the one who had been trapped in the building longest of all.

Every time she had walked into the toy store around the corner, MC felt pulled towards the puzzle sets. Specifically, the 24 piece sets. MC was the 24th child. But she was also the first. Every day, she’d buy a set, just to lay it on their graves, sorry that she had been left behind. 

“Come little children, I’ll take thee away, into a land of enchantment…oh momma, I’m so sorry I let you all down...I’m sorry I played with the fire, I’m sorry.” A tear had poured down, slid to her dry lips as she desperately held them back.

“I’m sorry momma...papa...I’m sorry I didn’t listen...I’m sorry I killed you all…”

And, as she walked away from the tombstones, a heart that was not hers broke.

{Reactions}

LUCIFER:

1.Never before had Lucifer been so...disturbed.

2.The song was stunning, and that was true….but somehow he could relate

3.He would definitely stay on the down low for a while, his pride showing when he has to come up with lies as to why he wasn’t talking to you

4.Okay, flashbacks for weeks. He was genuinely affected by the song.

5.In the end, he needs more comfort than you once he finally kicks pride out the window and sheds tears in front of you.

6.“I’m sorry, MC…”

MAMMON:

1.Okay...he wasn’t the best at spying on you-but he was worried! Your behavior was odd since last Sunday...actually, every Sunday.

2.He ran out to you, crying hard as he tackled you, saying how sorry he was for digging into your personal life. 

3.The demon was holding fistfulls of little puzzle pieces, candy, and notes, claiming they were from the souls of the children, who wished you the best in life and to move on.

4.He, the avatar of greed, had done something of huge charitable value for these children as he held you close

5.Yes, he got flashbacks….but decided not to dwell on them, more so trying to comfort you.

6.“Stupid human...you can come to me always, ya know that?”

BEEZLEBUB:

1.Beezlebub doesn’t always show his feelings, sure. But he does, forever and always, come for those he cares about. 

2.It’s like a magnetic pull as you cry. He’s there, wiping the large tear threatening to spill with his thumb, licking it off before wiping his hand off. 

3.A kind smile with eyes pain ridden as his big hands engulf your own, for he too, had a tragic past and lost someone he considered blood.

4.“It’s okay, MC. They’re right here, and always will be. Please don’t cry.” He says as he points to your heart, right by your breast, but with no sexual intent. Only comfort. 

5.“Come on, big girl, don’t cry, I’m here.” He says, holding you close and running his fingers through your hair with the gentlest of touches.

6. No one can harm you in your vulnerable state as the Avatar of Gluttony protects you.

Satan and Asmodeus: The Hanging Tree

It was in class- herbology. The lesson was on wisteria trees when MC bordly began to hum a tune.

“Are you, are you, coming to the tree? They strung up a man, they say who murdered three. Strange things did happen here no stranger would it be, if we met at midnight, in the hanging tree.” 

“Miss L/n quiet down! I’m trying to teach!” The professor had called out, but MC was lost as tears began to bubble up. She continued her little song quietly as her desk mates huffed in annoyance. She’d done this every day of the week, only to end up crying. Nobody knew what was wrong with her, nor did they get a word out of her. Not until Amso took MC and Satan out for a spa treatment.

Filing her nails, Asmo blew off the dust, his brows furrowed.

“Say, MC?”

“Yeah?”

“Why is it you sing that depressing song every time someone brings up wisteria trees?”

Now Satan looked up, lifting a cucumber off his eye, his curiosity sparked. MC looked away, pulling her hand away from Asmo’s as she pulled her knees to her chest, a deep sigh escaping her lips. Asmo quickly waved his hands in front of him.

“Oh, sorry, sorry MC! I didn’t know it was a touchy subject-”

Satan interrupted. “Care to share?”

“Satan!”

“No, no, Asmo- it’s okay. It’s...it’s just not something I really talk about.” MC said, finishing off with a whisper. 

The two leaned in, eyes big and expectant when MC looked to them.

“You know, my father passed away when I was really young. It was a selfish reason, really- to put it into his own words, it was, “To escape the responsibility of life.” , but that wasn’t the case.” MC  raised her pant leg, revealing all the burn marks and scars covering the skin. 

“It was really to escape the guilt of hurting me.”

The brothers went quiet for a moment before Satan put a hand up.

“So what does that have to do with that song you were singing?”

MC smiled bitterly. “Because he was the man in The Hanging Tree my mother always sang to me.”

“So what happened to your mother?”

“She too, joined him in death…and left me alone.”

{Reactions}

SATAN: 

1.He was at a loss for words, to say the least.

2.Never, in the demon’s countless millennia had he come across such a pitiful soul

3.Taking a bite of the cucumber before tossing it aside, he took the other off, tracing his fingers across the burns that resembled his rage: Ugly, loved, and traumatizing

4.As the room was quiet, he just felt intrigued to know more, had to know more. 

5.“You’re very strong, MC.”

6.The Hanging Tree did not leave his mind for quite some time as he tried to figure out the mystery MC had unknowingly left implanted in his brain.

ASMODEUS:

1.He has never ruined his makeup by crying in front of somewhere. Never ever.

2.But he sure as hell came close to it. 

3.Asmo had nothing to say but grab MC’s hands and kiss them softly over and over again before continuing the manicure he had initially started.

4.A mental note to take MC’s mind off other things so as not to give her wrinkles from stress or depression. 

Leviathan and Belphegor: Lullaby of Woe

She never had a peaceful night's rest. The dreams always came back to haunt her.Each night, she’d live through it, again, and again, and again. Oh, how the false man in white would come to her, a mischievous grin on his handsome face before cutting into her mind, showing her the deaths at her fault. Her mother, kind and beautiful, always coming in to protect her, reassure her that it wasn’t real, that she was seeing things. 

“Momma, please! I’m scared! I don’t wanna see him again momma!” A little girl wailed, holding onto her mother’s waist, legs wrapped around in a firm hold, hands bundled in her clothes.

“My darling, please just sleep~ I’ll always be here love. Always.”

And always she was, for her remains laid in that rotting home to this day, not yet known. Still, no one would believe the late Mrs. L/n’s daughter.

MC shuffled more in her sleep before finally waking up, eyes puffy from the unconscious crying. Slowly she got up, getting ready for the school day as she washed her face, prepared, and left the room. 

“Good morning.” Each of the brothers would greet her, to which she’d return a small nod. There was nothing to talk about. Not when these nightmares haunted her so.

A little girl sat by her mother’s corpse, a man beside her.

Drink, child. Feast in the blood of a sinner.

“...But….but mother wasn’t a sinner…”

“Ignorant child. You are but a bastard, for she was never married. Drink and cleanse yourself of the blood of a sinner. Repent and be saved.”

Truly, the false man in white was but a liar, wanting nothing more than a child’s innocence and fortune as he toyed with her. 

Lost in her own fantasies, she began to sing, the tall Jubokko tree towering beneath her with the damned’s skulls by her feat. 

“For the witcher, heartless, cold...Paid in coin of gold, He comes he’ll go leave naught behind, but heartache and woe…”

“Deep, deep woe, for the witcher, heartless, cold, Paid in coin of gold, he comes…”

MC’s voice broke into it, pathetic cracks of the voice clear but quiet as she stopped.

A small applause was heard behind her; Belphie and Levi had seen and listened patiently, attentive and concerned.

The Avatar of Sloth put his arms down, kicking a skull as he sat down.

“That was a beautiful song, MC. What has made you so upset?”

Levi too, had sat down, his eyes no longer focused on the forgotten D.D.D.

MC just smiled sheepishly, sitting down with the boys as she tucked back a loose strand away. 

“It was nothing important. A story for another time.”

*my current projects/wips: i have.... many wips bc ill have an idea and a basic passage and i’ll jot it down and take forever to actually finish it – the attached series is on hiatus for now while i write for another fandom, but i’m working on that, a spiritual sequel to another mason fic i wrote before, another mason fic, a felix fic w my new detective, and some prompts i might get to eventually. i am the literal worst at finishing wips LMFAOOOO
