The Corpse Bride (2005) When Victor is practicing his woeful wedding vows in the woods, he slips his ring onto the finger of Emily, a corpse in the ground, who takes him to the land of the dead. Tim Burtons The Corpse Bride is completely and unapologetically charming. From the get go, the art style is to be admired and it’s a really pleasant and unique visual experience. You know you’re watching a Tim Burton film! The story is equally as charming, the film absolutely flew by, clocking in at 1 hour 20 minutes, it’s a good watch, with plenty of story and not a lot of filler, the content felt relevant and it was an enjoyably story right until the end! It was maybe a bit short and probably could have added a little more depth (if I’m being picky), but it kept to the main storyline and I didn’t really have much to complain about! I have to say, Danny Elfman is fantastic, many a film I’ve heard his work, it’s distinctive, memorable and for films of this nature, sets them off. His soundtrack for this gives it that extra element that takes it to the next level. With Johnny Depp, Helena Carter, Christopher Lee and Joanna Lumley starring in this film, it has a great cast that all perform fantastically to bring this film to life! Overall, if you’re looking for a monster energy of a film, crack open this and enjoy. It’s an 80 minute film, full of energy and character, that will leave you with fond memories and a feel good feeling! #TimBurton #TheCorpseBride #TheCorpseBrideReview #Review #FilmReview #JohnnyDepp #DannyElfman #MovieReview #HelenaCarter #Omareviews #HorrorComedy #SpoilerFree https://www.instagram.com/p/B4mii5EF155/?igshid=1ah6ws52bvzho
