Tim Burtons The Corpse Bride is completely and unapologetically charming. From the get go, the art style is to be admired and it’s a really pleasant and unique visual experience. You know you’re watching a Tim Burton film! The story is equally as charming, the film absolutely flew by, clocking in at 1 hour 20 minutes, it’s a good watch, with plenty of story and not a lot of filler, the content felt relevant and it was an enjoyably story right until the end! It was maybe a bit short and probably could have added a little more depth (if I’m being picky), but it kept to the main storyline and I didn’t really have much to complain about! I have to say, Danny Elfman is fantastic, many a film I’ve heard his work, it’s distinctive, memorable and for films of this nature, sets them off. His soundtrack for this gives it that extra element that takes it to the next level. With Johnny Depp, Helena Carter, Christopher Lee and Joanna Lumley starring in this film, it has a great cast that all perform fantastically to bring this film to life! Overall, if you’re looking for a monster energy of a film, crack open this and enjoy. Thinking out loud Where i haven't got any time yesterday and do not have any will-power today. I wanted to draw a little Helena B. Carter 'cuz i love her so much but i fucked up pretty nicely. Fun fact of the year: one day i was making up conversations with her about random things to train my brain's english talking skills('cuz i read'n'write a lot but don't talk well) (my native language is hungarian) and that night i was dreaming with this amazing woman, she was telling me some deep stuff like what's the life for me or don't be afraid to show myself for ppl who worth it, it is okay to fail just stand up etc. We had some tea at a random teahouse with cinamon flavoured cookies. It was nice and when i woke up my body&soul was energetic as hell. End of the tale. Oh and can you recognise some proper lighting in this one? Fortunatelly i identified it and messed up as well. Where is my mind. from 2017
