Titus picked up Nyx for a Glaive meeting after his guard duty. Even though he wasn’t in active duty, once a Glaive, always a Glaive. Driving in the car casually, the Captain looks around before parking in the garage. Once he did this, he looks over. 

“Ready?”

Instead of being given a reply through words, Nyx quickly pulls him in with a kiss, taking the Captain a bit back before finding their lips apart once more. Staring for a moment, he looks at the other unamused. 

“Nyx...”

Merc is an ass when he’s sick

Modern medicine had never played much of a part in Mercury’s life. Even the aftermath of the crush injury that had cost him his legs couldn’t be called modern medicine by any stretch of the imagination. The bottle Watts set on the table was regarded with suspicion and distrust, then. Antibiotics were hardly a dangerous substance, but they were unfamiliar--and face it, anything that came in a capsule looked at least ten times more intimidating than it really was.

“Nah. I’ll take my chances.”

Crossed arms lent credibility to his stubbornness. Mercury had never been to a doctor before, and he sure wasn’t interested in starting now, even if Watts was about as far from a traditional doc as he could get. The rattle in his chest and disgusting cough would pass on their own. He was sure of it.
