I’ve been an artist and teacher now for more years than I haven’t. Better part of a quarter of a century. Maybe the best part of that time has been collaboration. Whether with students, friends or my significant other. What’s best part about of the collaborative process? That you put into existence something you could not do alone. That seems way more relevant today than it did when I first started putting pencil to paper. Artists know the importance of being part of a larger picture, working together to make something bigger than the one. Creativity through community. Just sayin’. .
