Back from service, chilling and scrolling through my December dumps to find This pics...😍 As a Thespian, this meant so much to me as I got to see my first Christmas Pantomime at the Paladium Theatre recently… titled "Jack and the Beanstalk”😂. It was so beautiful, the asthethics, scenery, costume grandeur, light and sound effects, and the bonus of having @alexanderburke with other amazing stars on stage was the icing of the cake. Had an amazing night at Guys and Dolls at the Bridge Theatre. It was wonderful catching up with old friends from Wall Street to Walton and meeting so many new friends. Having so many finance, PR, and entrepreneurial buddies from around the world in one place was truly a blessing. I loved every minute.

I can’t recommend the show enough! It has always been a favorite (my father-in-law played Sky Masterson alongside Bob Hoskins and Bernard Cribbins at the National). This version was spectacular—see it before it ends and make sure you stand in the pit! And stay for the dance-off!

It’s another thing to be in a musical and have stress dreams about it,

But watching a musical, yourself not performing in a musical anytime soon, and having stress dreams about your high school performing that musical is a WHOLE NEW LEVEL.

When I was 9, my grandmother took me to the 2002 revival of Oklahoma!. This week I got to relive the second Broadway play I ever saw. This revival is different from the one I saw in every way, except the way it mattered: the central story was there and grounded and the plot was the same. 📚It was brilliant hearing everything over again. I don’t think the power is something that goes away. I think it lives on in every production of a play or a musical.
