Send, "Ow!" for sender to accidentally walk into receiver.

( !!! ) ren had just gotten off the train and was walking toward the school from the train station . it was busier out here than normal . maybe he hadn't been watching where he was going , well enough . either way , he felt a jostle which caused him to glance up from where his eyes had been glued to the sidewalk in front of him . another girl had bumped into him .

instinctively , he reached out and grasped her upper arm as she stumbled back . to catch her before she tripped over her own feet and fell . ren stared across at her , not recognizing her . his gaze roamed down , noting a similar uniform to his own . shujin , huh ?

" watch where you're going , " his voice was blunt , maybe a tad harsher than he'd meant it to sound . he didn't enjoy being bumped into . without waiting , he let go of her arm and walked by her . if ren didn't hurry , he'd be late on his first day of school .

( stop it. leave me alone. ) she stammered , and awkwardly chased after him . he was only half listening as this strange , persistent girl mentioned that just because they were attending the same school that they should walk together . if ren had the energy , he would've laughed in her face . as it was , all he did was give her a blank expression .

" why . " is his immediate & blunt response . before giving her a chance to reply , he continues . voice as even and as dull as that look in his gaze , " i see no reason to walk with you . pardon me . " at least he remembered to be semi-polite near the end . outside of school staff , ren saw no point in trying to befriend anybody at the new high school . too much energy required that he barely had , it was a struggle just surviving day to day .

Being sent back in time was not what Sumire expected to happen. Still in the Shujin Academy uniform, she was back on the train on the way to school. Checking her phone confirmed her suspicions - the date was April 11th again. Great.

Does anyone else know…?

Hopping off the train, Sumire immediately began sprinting towards the school. She wanted to burst into tears, yet she can’t in public. Maybe a secluded corner in the school itself would offer some privacy-

Bam.

“Oh, I-” Sumire began to apologize as she re-found her footing after colliding with someone. Yet all words were caught in her throat upon realizing who it was.

Ren.

She was probably staring like a deer in headlights. He didn’t seem to recognize her. “H-Hey, wait!” Stammering, she sped-walked to stand next to him. “Uh… we’re attending the same school, yeah? We should walk there together.”

Gotta play it cool, need to act like she wasn’t just sent back in time with her memory of the past timeline in-tact. Although, with the harsh tone that was in his voice, she wasn't sure if he would actually say yes.

Getting into musicals the same way that I loved them last summer is an incredible feeling.

I feel like I'm discovering them again, but because I have memories with them from last year, the New Thing joy is coupled with such nostalgia that it's almost overwhelming.

I remember the feeling of writing at three in the morning with a cup of black tea next to me and The Story of Tonight coming through my earbuds.

I remember the feeling of spending days in my room, laying out storylines on my window with a dry erase marker, with For Forever in the background.

Of doing schoolwork to Michael in the Bathroom.

Of hearing Life Support over the sound of my typewriter.

Each story meant something to me then, but there's so much more to them now. The sentimental value that each one holds means that I couldn't let go of them if I wanted to.

I'm not mad about it.
