Ongoing Series - Thai

My Stand-In (Thai Fri iQIYI) ep 2 of 12 eps - I love love love Sol! Pink-haired baby idol blast from the past nursing a crush = absolute catnip for me. This is def my favorite Thai BL currently airing. And it’s probably because it has a sort of odd queer authenticity to both its gayness and its rep of the film industry. I mean, of course it’s sanitized into BL fantasy-landia, but there’s an underpinning of something real, for lack of a better word. Normally I prefer the fantasy of my dumb BL worldview, but in this one I’m kind of liking a little chew and grit.

All of which is to say: this is very fucked up messy gay, which normally I’m not wild about, but for some reason I’m really enjoying this version.

On the other side of the BL coin we have:

Wandee Godday (Sat YT) ep 1 of 12 - And I like it a lot. It’s fun and I’m enjoying it (possibly more than it deserves). I like how it’s a little absurdist. I like that it starts with a one night stand. I like all of the side characters. I love the asexual representation. Bonus LUBE! It’s a fun show. More FUN that GMMTV usually goes for.  

Two Worlds (Thurs iQIYI) ep 8 of 10 - The sketching in the cave scene was v sexy. And I’m enjoying this BL, but not for any other reason than MaxNat being MaxNatty all over my screen. 

1000 Years Old (Thurs iQIYI) ep 12fin - I don’t know what I feel about this one. Mostly just indifferent. It was meant to be the paranormal Thai BL pulp about vampires that we were all waiting for, and it ended up just being boring. Frankly, I'd rather be pissed off than bored. 6/10

Only Boo! (Sun YouTube) ep 4 of 12 - I truly love the naked lust on our side couple's pining friend's face. Usually only Japan get this thirsty.

Book is perfectly cast as Moo's older bro. They even look a bit alike but it might have been a mistake, because he’s so damn charismatic. Stole all the breath from the show for a bit.

Boys Be Brave AKA Roommates (Korea Thurs Viki) ep 3-4 of 8 - Ah poor lonely neglected child. They are all such weirdos. I don’t understand any of these characters or their motivations except they are strange kind of cartoons of... something.

Love is like a Cat (Korea Mon Viki) eps 9-10 of 12 - The guy who plays the vet should be playing a vampire. That's it. That's all I have to say.

Lady Boy Friends (Thai WeTV grey) 16 eps - reminds me a bit too much of Diary of Tootsies only high school. Not my thing. DNF unless it turns a corner and is truly amazing.

Soooo, now that all my wedding madness is over I'm catching up on everything and seeing a lot of weird ass energy towards black writers here (and Wattpad specifically was mentioned too). As a writer, ALL OF MY ORIGINAL CHARACTERS ARE BLACK WOMEN AND WILL BE DESCRIBED AS SUCH!! Idgaf if that hurts your fragile little feelings, you can find your way to the block button, respectfully.

The POC that are not into your fics probably have a reason!! A lot of women in the IWC especially yt women are constantly practicing racial fetishization in regards to these specific men not to mention the other micro aggressions and stereotypes/inaccurate portrayals. "A POC didn't like my portrayal of POC character! Poor pitiful me." See how dumb that sounds? As a yt person writing about people of color it is your job and your responsibility to educate yourself before doing so and not to expect us to just grin and bare your stories that were written without a care in the world about us or the people you are writing about in mind. to tag on to that post that’s like “why am i nostalgic for my teen years??? bitch i didnt even have fun!!!!” that i’ve reblogged probably in the last few months (im too lazy to go back through my blog to find it if i have, leave me be) .... i think some of the reasons im nostalgic for my teens years are the following:

- no real responsibilities other than homework and assignments that i barely ever did from years 7-10 

- i feel like time went so fucking fast (courtesy of some of my old fb memories posts in various months during 2012 and 2013) that i just wasnt prepared to be in my early teens & 20s- let alone to my mid 20s so fucking soon.

- there was a solid routine in the morning of each term- get up at 6:45am, wash my face and skin care stuff, then straighten my fringe (or sometimes all of my hair, halfheartedly), tie my hair up and have my breakfast etc etc etc. then leave for school

- despite all my jokes about being a Useless Failure Of A Human Being™️ when i left school or whatever, i did have a genuine hope underneath it all that i’d some day hopefully be successful (even if my facebook posts from year 10 to year 12 (ie 2011-2013) weren’t very good tbh).

- oh yeah NO PANDEMIC

- it was ~actually fun~ being an unabashed emo/scene kid lmao- no matter how much i cringe at 12-16yo me’s peak All Time Low Phase™️

- again time just zipped the fuck by and i was suddenly in business college and then uni and then fuck. i had a mental breakdown in postgrad bc it was too much work and pressure and fuck how do i cope. i kinda felt like i’d reached a point, like a stunted point in my emotional growth or whatever once i hit my 20s bc i went through so much stuff in the last 3 years of high school and then some other shit all before age 20 really hit.

- also like. instagram and snapchat weren’t huge so we took loads of corny unedited emo kid photos, but also did edit some of them with shitty 2008/09 nintendo dsi filters or photobucket filters for myspace. like we were actually allowed to be cringy asf and not be instagram/snapchat flawless for a bunch of followers on a constant basis. like yes my haircuts were awful and i do cringe at the stupid poses i did in some of my photos with my friends. but still. we got to have FUN.

- you could look like a fucking hot mess with your makeup. like yes there was a bit of pressure to learn proper makeup, obvs. but generally it was almost like.... like the more of a hot mess you looked, the better. because you were allowed to make mistakes with it. but thank god it wasn’t the level of the YT beauty gurus “baking their face” and whatever other irritating names they can come up with for new techniques.... and having to know exactly what the fuck that is and having to buy $75 setting spray so your face that’s full of $250 or more worth of makeup never falls off your face. i mean, come on! shine bright like a cheeto in your incredibly mismatched maybelline foundation which said it was matte, fuck damn it, but it’s making you look shiny!!!! you can use your strawberry lemonade lip smacker balm as blush to cover up the shiny bits??? but who cares??!! it’s 2000 and fucking 9 babey!!!

but now, if you don’t have an almost professional level of expertise/knowledge and lot of makeup stuff, then it’s a monstrosity. a mistake. what are you? how do you NOT know what baking is in regards to makeup? you fool! no! we don’t care if you’re 14! YOU HAVE TO KNOW CASSANDRA! YOU! HAVE! TO! KNOW! now spend 163863733 hours on youtube to revise your know how and skills, so then you do your makeup better than fredia, who doesn’t EVEN KNOW what blush is and how to apply it. i mean how embarrassing 🙄??? am i right?! YOU DONT KNOW WHAT A LIP KIT IS AND WHY YOU NEED IT??? SICKENING. DISGUSTING. YOU HEATHEN. also please spend $100 at sephora on a kylie jenner mega lip kit, boo!!! you do you!!! but if you make a mistake during applying anything in the lip kit or on the rest of your face, EVERYONE WILL KNOW!!! anyway, you get the picture.

like yeah high school did fucking suck for me like it did/does for basically everyone... but god it was much better having a sense of routine in the morning and having at least a minor glimmer of hope that i’d hopefully get somewhere eventually. but that’s all been upended completely by covid and self-isolation. my routine has been out of wack for the past month, with the pandemic rising again in victoria and also in new south wales, with restrictions resetting and stuff again in NSW and vic, like.... will i ever get a job (no matter what is is) in the fucked aussie economy?? just who the fuck knows??? uncertainty sucks.

and also i generally don’t know how to keep to schedule without some 3rd party entity like uni to help. like i miss the structure of on campus study bc i didn’t really have to set that myself, in a way, bc the uni scheduled the classes for the profs in the subjects i had. and i followed the same schedule of doing my face and hair etc every day that i went to uni. but now that’s gone as well.

I’m stressing out. Like it’s very low key but my face is breaking out. I’ve been tryna figure out why. I’m hoping it’s because of my detoxing of my body and mind. But then I’m like is my body subconsciously reacting to the times and now my skin is suffering? I’ve delayed checking my face map cuz for some reason I feel like that area of my face is gyno related. But video conferencing really isn’t a fair educational opportunity if a student has fucked up internet connection. My sound goes out. The internet cuts off my view of the lectures!!! Nawww! Schools gotta do betta! I’m not use to such ghetto-ness. I’m already dealing with a racist History Professor. Bruhh... makes it hard to focus when every time I think about him I remember this fool@said nigger multiple times in his YT lecture. The same lecture he tried to justify why some Gringo can teach Mexican American History. And his communications with us screams privilege, tenure....I keep tryna remember why th am I in school taking classes that I don’t NEED. The set up was a simple one for the video; camera set up in the TRC training room and microphones in hand. Yuta had thought each of them would enter when their parts came up and could handle the song in a relaxed manner. There was no need for dramatics or energy, just step up and lay it out. Do what was comfortable, no pressure. Maybe it was because Yuta didn’t want it to feel like an evaluation between them. Chanyeol, Sowon and himself. They were now some of the more senior trainees, quickly approaching two years together. Chanyeol had been there with him since he signed with TRC, he’d been there for the racquetball attempts, he’d been through evaluations and he’d been there in Jeju. It might have taken this long for them to do a video together out of Yuta’s ability to easily be distracted and pass over what is in front of him. Sowon on the other hand may have come in later, but she’d been the one who Yuta had opened up too most; the person he expressed himself and his thoughts to with comfort. Their presence in his life was more valued than he would likely ever express, and he wanted to do something with the three of the together.

His hand loose around the microphone as the beginning beats started, glancing over at Chanyeol and Sowon who were they chose to stand out of frame. With most of his videos, he wore what he had on for training. Shirt, sweats, his sneakers; whites and greys and blacks. A wardrobe he’d loathed when he first began in TRC. Now he wore them every day without a second thought. His fingers combing through his hair as he bobbed his head to the beat. He was first, and it doesn’t take many steps to enter into the camera’s view, his tongue darting out over his bottom lip. It’s easy for him to slip right into the beat and flow, practised in his free time and finding where he was at ease in front of the camera. One hand keeping him in pace unconsciously, until he comes up to the pre-chorus rap. Two fingers tapping to his head when he mentions the dirt on his psyche, the shrug of his shoulders when he talks about love. Movements he slipped in without a second thought of them.

Sowon came into frame second, singing the chorus in a sweet voice and he liked to think he chose right for her. The emotion of the song fitting to her. His gaze flickering to her, always wondering if he didn’t give her enough chance to shine with him. There had been a number of times where she was the only one he thought would listen to what he thought and felt, and she absorbed his frustrations and pain without any complaint. She should have been given the chance to let her own out more, whether through dancing or singing. Yuta hoped that she would get the chance to do that in the future, microphone shifting in his hand too soon and he was repeating the end of the chorus, lifting up a hand and moving it in small motions with the beat.

The second verse was Chanyeol’s, something Yuta happily passed over to the other rapper and let him do as he wanted with. He knew and trusted that whatever the taller trainee came up with would have been good; suitable and re-written into more than anything Yuta could have made up. Still, he was impressed whenever they came together for the brief practices they could have. Each time, there was a freshness and newness to what Chanyeol had done with his part of the song. An ability to hone and improve the rap until every word was where it needed to be -- not where he just wanted it to be. Yuta biting on the edge of his tongue as he moved with the beat, nodding and shifting his weight, moving around the space with ease, throwing his hand whenever Chanyeol’s rap came to a peak. A childish delight that Yuta had had since he was in his teens and first got into hiphop and rap.

A quick shift in beat and there was Sowon again, Yuta inching back as she sung her lines, wanting her to have her space and spotlight without any of his interference. Whenever he listened to the song, Sowon’s part was what smoothed the two different styles of rap together, what cut through like a vocal mirage and soothed out the breathing of the listens. Microphone coming back up to Yuta’s mouth as he jumped right back in with the end of the chorus, and dropped right back into his rapped verse.

With the last lines of the verse, Yuta inches closer to the camera, lifting his hand to cover his eyes as he mentions being ‘gone’, playing peek-a-boo and then dropping back. i have recs!!! first of all ty for asking me abt it hdgfs !! i’ll make u a list !! i will try to stay concise but i have bolded n linked the most important stuff since i tend to blabber a lot! there r groups i purposely didnt recommend! also! i advise you to look up who did what if you want to know why idcs abt certain artists that r big in kpop (like big//ba//ng, su//ju, bl//ock//b, ma//ma//moo & so on) tl;dr: kpop basics (spotify) + @tearera (my kpop sb)

i’ll start w some RECS but jsyk kpop as u might have heard of it is mainly composed of groups! which is why i’ll start w groups then soloists! of course u can check out most of them on spotify (u can listen to their playlist of the most famous songs atm!). please notice that the kpop industry is very ‘classic’ when it comes to concepts (cute r for gorls! badass r for boys!) so um. yeah. yikes. if i had to argue abt all the things i find wrong in this industry this post would become a manifesto, u can always pm me if u want to hear me complain lmao 

GIRL GROUPS

honestly…. TWICE are the first one that came to my mind when i thought of ggs to rec. they’re a 9 member group labelled under jyp entertainment n have debuted in 2015 with the bop like ooh aah… that u can listen to! their genre is mainly cute songs but dont be fooled!! they have extremely powerful songs & lyrics as well! some good starts with their music are LIKEY (2017, a bop, great melody, great rapping, one of their ult feel good songs, played @ the olympics), TT (2016, queens of halloween!), and also their most recent song WHAT IS LOVE (2018, iconic!! gay!! bop!! sweet!! great album!!). as twice are the kind that can set you off by their cuteness and playful vibes, i recommend you to check out some of their side tracks. personality wise, the girls r very fun and sweet! they’re all angels and i love them all THIS MUCH!! if u want to know, sana & dahyun r my favourite members!         

also queens, but from sm entertainment this time, Red Velvet are a 5 member gg who have debuted in 2015 with the song Happiness (at that time they were only 4 but the youngest member, Yeri, joined later on!). some very famous songs of theirs are… basically all their title tracks but i’d mainly recommend Russian Roulette, Dumb Dumb (also my fave rv music video!!), Peek-a-boo (what’s better than lesbians witches slaying men and eating pizza), Bad Boy (honestly… one of their best songs… title track of their repackaged album…good shit if u will). of course! there are some side tracks i will recommend! i will frankly say that i listen to a lot of their music and they’re my favourite musically! some faves in no particular order are automatic, cool hot sweet love, huff n puff, something kinda crazy, about love, kingdom come, little little and talk to me! they have very versatile genres and have two main themes of music, the red and the velvet, though these mix often! rlly! their music really good. they have amazing choreographies too!!!!

the third gg i will rec are one that have not debuted yet, it’s LOONA! get ready bc they are a 12 member group with one girl for every month. each girl was revealed every month staring from 2016 with a single album composed of one song and one side track that usually features another member! as this group has yet to debut, i cannot show you anything with all twelve members but! they work with units, there are three: loona 1/3, odd eye circle, and yyxy (tune in for their debut scheduled for may!) that each have an album. 1/3 r more of a cute girly concept, while odd eye circle have played strongly on the girl crush & rnb concept. we have yet to see what yyxy has for us n im frankly v excited!!! my fave singles are Around You (hyunjin), Let Me In (haseul), Singing in the rain (jinsoul, best girl), Eclipse (kim lip), and Heart Attack (by chuu!! also best girl). they have already released a lot of music so go ahead & listen to it! their music videos have a plot and it’s one of those theories fandom (loonaverse)! the positions that all the members will have wasn’t been revealed yet!

then here’s a list of ggs that’s not as detailed bc it would be too long: clc (they r…the girls….), exid (vocals, social criticism, sexy), blackpink (5 songs out but theyre all top notch), f(x) (v good music! bring them back from the war), gfriend (cute & refreshing concepts! v tight choreographies! sweet girls!), aoa, & many more! groups i dont rec bc i dont stan but that u should know of: snsd, 2ne1; that have disbanded but shouldnt have: sistar

BOY GROUPS

ok i stan two boy groups so that’ll be quick! i’ll also rec plenty of music!

the main group i stan is BTS aka the bangtan boys and yes… they’re everywhere… they deserve it tbh… so theyre a 7 member boy group and they’re the first kpop group i ever stanned! they have released a lot of songs already but i’ll just mark something! bts are known for their cinematography and plot in their music videos as well as their politically/socially engaged songs. they debuted in 2013 with the youth-conscious song no more dream and um. forget the mv. the message is what’s important. secondly! my favourite eps & albums are DARK&WILD (forget abt war of hormone), The Most Beautiful Moment in Life pt2, WINGS, and Love Yourself 轉 Tear (which will be released on May 18th so stay tuned!). here’s a beginner’s list to bts & their music videos: spring day, blood sweat & tears, run, fire, i need u, and intros: singularity, serendipity. i cannot recommend bts songs bc i’d be unable to pick some, but here is my bangtan favourites playlist and spotify’s This Is BTS! n their most known song atm, still on charts, DNA. another thing!! they dabble in a lot of genres! there is a constant symbolism in most of their songs and music videos, which is why there are theories! also, here are my fave choreos (x x x) & non-official releases (x x x)! also! j-hope recently released a mixtape! check it out! it’s v good! the bad thing is that the fandom is massive n it is filled with young fans so a lot of fan-created content is cringey. apart from that! theyre lovely as a band n i’m not ashamed to say that they bring me most of my joy these days!

then there is… NCT. ok, let’s dive into them. nct is the acronym for Neo Culture Technology, they’re currently an 18 member boy group but hey! don’t be scared! they too work in units and have only released one song which features all 18 of them! it is likely that the band will expand later on & that the name NCT will become a brand (like akb48 u know). so far! there are three units! NCT DREAM (based on age, with the youngest members who r still minors), NCT U (the first unit to have debuted, aka nct united, a rotative unit with no fixed genre or members list) and NCT 127 (seoul based unit, fixed, with 9 members). they’re known for their experimentative and diversified sound, which goes from ballads to… this. while each unit have their distinct genre and vibe, they’re all under the same label of nct! and um, check out spotify’s nct playlist if u want! here r some songs that are basics! bolded r the faves! jsyk i hated their music & their clothes @ first bc it’s so unique so dw if u dislike them!

the last group i’ll present in length n that u should know about is SEVENTEEN. they’re a 13 member boy group & work in units as well but mainly promote w all the members! they’re the fun, sweet, talented, heartfelt refreshing boys we all love tbh! so! seventeen debuted in 2015 with the bop adore u and since then it’s been great song over great song… they also have great choreos! they’re the easiest group to listen to imo bc their songs are mostly light and very similar to what you can hear on teen top radios! then, they get stuck in your head very easily! here are some songs u can listen to that will make your day! mansae, very nice, pretty u, clap, don’t wanna cry, change up, n there are many more! some of my faves are when i grow up, trauma, still lonely, rocket, crazy in love, lean on me, and uhgh rlly all of their songs tbh! three units better known as teams: hip-hop, performance and vocal, with a leader in each. they put up great performances!!

then there is shinee, mostly nicknamed the kings of kpop, i’d make a very long desc but! i suggest you to see for yourself as the fandom is v helpful!

“So I left my pass in there…” I told the guard and he nodded, opening the large door and I walked in. I was invited to playlist this year and it was so amazing but I happened to loose my pass while walking around.

“Where could it be?” I asked myself and looked around the room. My eyes stopped on two teen boys looking for something as well. I sighed and walked to the place I was last. “Have you boys happened to come across a pass?” I asked as I searched the ground.

“Nope we're looking for mine as well.” The boy laughed and I looked up, knowing the voice. “Hey you're those Sam and Colby dudes.” I realized. “And you're that Y/YT/N girl.” Colby mocked me.

“Wow two big YouTubers know me?” I laughed and continued to search. “Of course we would know the hot girl from Kansas.” Colby said and I chuckled. “I'm not hot but thanks.” I laughed and a pass caught my eye. “Found it!” I yelled and picked it up.

“Damn it's yours.” I groaned loudly and held the pass out for Sam to take so I could continue my search. “I found yours over here!” Colby called out and I turned. “Yes! Thanks.” I smiled and the boy and took the pass from his big hands.

“Well it was nice to meet you boys. See you tomorrow at the panel and stuff.” I smiled brightly and started my way back to the hotel room. “Hey wait.” A hand shot between the elevator doors and they reopened for the person.

If you didnt know, Sam and Colby were my favorite YouTubers and were my inspiration to even start my own channel. I played it cool earlier but I was absolutely starstruck. The two boys walked into the elevator and I stood off to the side.

“So Y/N, how are you liking Washington?” Colby asked with his extremely attractive deep voice. He was so fucking hot like wow. “Uh haven't been out much but it's okay.” I shrugged.

“Ah.” Sam nodded and the small room fell into silence. “Are you doing anything tonight?” Colby asked and I shook my head no. I was probably just gonna sit in my hotel room and watch some videos.

“Wanna come to our room? We have nothing to do and maybe we can film a video?” Colby questioned and I had to think for a second. “Sure.” I gave in and then we got to the floor. “I'll meet you guys there in a minute, what's your room number?” I asked as I followed them off the elevator.

Looks like we are on the same floor. I walked to mine and noticed the boys were still by me. “Go to your room.” I laughed and unlocked my door then I saw Colby pull out the card and unlock the door beside me.

“Oh.” I laughed and nodded. “Be there in a minute.” I walked into my room and went to my suitcase. I pulled out a pair of black sweatpants and a dark blue long sleeve. I pulled my long hair into a messy bun and quickly fixed my makeup.

I grabbed my phone and went to twitter.

I tweeted and automatically people began favoriting and asking questions. I laughed and left the room walking to Sam and Colby's. I noticed the door was propped open so I snuck in quietly.

Sam was laying on the white bed and Colby was shirtless as he searched for a hoodie. I smirked and pulled out my phone, holding record. “Boo whores!” I yelled and they screamed. I fell over laughing and Colby took my phone, posting the video and starting another.

“Hey look who Y/N is with! The great Colby Brock! Go subscribe to me.” He winked at his shameless self promo. I laughed and took the phone from his hands. “Hello boys.” I smiled and sat on what seemed to be Colby's bed since Sam was on the other.

“Are we collabing?” I asked and crossed my legs. “Yeah did you bring your camera?” He asked and I nodded, setting the large object beside me. “Okay what are we gonna do?” Colby asked.

“Well I have nothing else so truth or dare?” I suggested and they both nodded. “Great.” I smiled brightly and Colby took the camera, setting it up on his tripod and then sat on the right side of me. Sam went on the left and we all pulled out our phones, writing down a few truths and dares.

“Colby, truth or dare?” I turned to him what the a mischievous look on my face. “Uh dare.” He smiled. “I dare you to kiss Sam on the cheek and uh if you don't you have to uhh run down the hall naked.”

“You're terrible.” He groaned and leaned over me, pulling Sam over and pecking his cheek. “I'm gonna stop the video right before you kiss his cheek okay?” I ask and they nodded. “They need to earn that clip.” I smiled and they nodded along.

The rest of the night we kept screwing up and refilming stuff so by the time we finished it was around 3 am. “I'm sleeping here.” I groaned and turned off my camera, cuddling into myself at the end of Sam’s bed.

“Here I'll sleep with Sam and you can take my bed.” Colby picked me up and carried me to his. I was out like a light. Tomorrow would be a long ass day.

as most peeps well know, my bg is SEVENTEEN TEEN TEEN and ugh i love all their songs so much this is a real struggle but i think Pretty U, Beautiful, NO F.U.N, Healing and Fronting are the ones I listen to most consistently ??? (this was my biggest struggle in my 19 years idk man i like all their songs listen to them all)

Well this is even more difficult but I’ll list some I’ve been listening to a lot recently bc I am super indecisive: Blackout by VIXX (bc i finally added it to my playlist thanks to cass), CAMO by BoA (dude this song is so good i’ve listened to it so much she is my queen), Running 2 U by NCT127 (ah this song is so lit by i wish it was longer tbh), Happy by WJSN (i go so hard to this song) and You Smile by ASTRO (this might be my favorite astro song ever idk i just love it so so much like i love baby a lot but 10/10 shoulda been their title imo)

ahhh mariah i totally agree w you~~ my ‘style’ is just generally comfy lol usually i wear leggings and a t-shirt tbh but my job requires me to wear real pants rip so for work i usually wear jeans and an okay shirt ? my staple piece is long sleeve t-shirts tho i wear them all the time even in summer here it gets p hot but if i can i wear log sleeves and pants bc i’m crazy apparently. i like sweaters a lot too and jeans but idk i’m just so lazy when it comes to fashion help me

okay i was like why vixx bc i didn’t realize someone else wrote this lol but kpop in general i found through youtubers yes yes and i was like wow dope then i only listened to bts for a couple months and here i am now (you can find a more detailed synopsis in basically any questions tag i’ve done if you haven’t seen it by now lol) BUT WOW VIXX HOW INTERESTING OKAY so i liked chained up and dynamite ya know back in the early days of my kpop career so like early 2016 i think then that spring/summer 2016 i was like okay i like bts and svt but i know there’s more out there *clenches fist* so i set out on the yt channel learnkpopnameswithme (?) and i saw vixx and was like wow cool i know a bit abt them and i watched a couple and i think i saw error and was like hollup this is too damn intense bye so i still listened to their music and stuff but i thought there were unattractive and i hated ken (I AM SO SORRY I LOVE HIM NOW IT’S OKAY) but i think when milky way mv came out i was like wow how good and pure! and then a month or two ago i really started watching more of them and their variety lol. but in conclusion i’ve known their names for forever but i was like not into them much haaaa sorry

I’m a hard stan for EXO but for my bby Yixing i’m soft. For most of the members i’m kind of a hard stan (especially Chanyeol oml) but idk what it is about Yixing i just want to cherish him nicely (?????)

I don’t own any, but i don’t mind because i couldn't listen anyway because i don’t own a CD player. Id probably only get one for the photo cards.

Q4: Do you try learning the Korean lyrics to the songs if you don’t speak the language? And if you do speak Korean, the question instead is what do you think is/would be the hardest thing about learning Korean/ about the Korean language?

i dont learn the lyrics i just tend to make weird mumbled noises pretending i know what i’m saying, but i kind of accidentally learnt some Korean from the worrying amount of kdrams i’ve watched.

Chanyeols covers are my favorite because i love his voice, deans cover of ordinary people  and half of BTS’ cover of fools

I once tried to learn Dope but i failed because i cant dance. I wish i could dance but i have as much skill as a giraffe on roller skates.

I love yixings nose idk why but its just so nice?? I remember when I watched yixing on go fighting  and i was just like WoW hes so funny and i related to him so much because he was confused 90% of the time and he was so giggly and cute i just ufhghg. But one of my favorite things is definitely his laugh.

Yeah no my primary anxiety is just like…everyone always only seems to know me for my hair. When it was long I was gonna cut it and everyone was like “what no!!! its so pretty and unique!!!” and I’m getting the same response from ppl who are not my friends. Everyone feels entitled to my hair which is bullshit (and when its yt ppl its fetishistic af). But like…I need to do this.

I’m just gonna miss my curls for a few months. They mean a lot ta me.

Got any headcanons for Cynthia and Iris if she joined the team?

I smiled so wide when I got this because yes the fuck I do.

Okay so I’ve established in my mind that Iris is a Bubbles/Blossom mix (Powerpuff Girls), while Cindy is a Buttercup/Blossom mix. Iris is a Neutral good, while Cindy is a Lawful Neutral (again, in my mind). So, there’s that. So I’d take their dynamic as being that Cindy is more focused on getting the job done rather than how she gets it done, while Iris is a lot more gentle with things. 

Iris is a really good shot caller and Cynthia is really good at carrying things out, but also I’d say they’re both adept tacticians. So I’d love to see them teaming up in the field for Star Labs or even Iris asking Cynthia to help her with stories. 

Cindy’s the type that would be like “Move” To to a security guard even though the two of them have no business being where they’re going, and Iris would sputter for a second before apologizing for her and finessing out a story about why they’re there. 

Or if they’re in a situation that’s gotten out of hand because they were snooping somewhere and got caught, and Iris is trying to talk their way out of it until Cindy pulls her to the side and just gives her a we-don’t-have-time-for-this look and Iris sighs and is like “go ahead” And Cindy flips a table and fucks everyone up and they dip.
