(R) Blurb: Vernon & Ciri: Best Part

The trip to Kear Morhen already was one that tried out even the best of witcher. Cirir and Vernon had gone there thousands of times, but never to just spend a healthy flightless weekend.

A weekend was bound to be filled with peace, training, and good sex.

A full weekend just for the two of them. Everyone else had managed to leave Kear Morhen. It was cold and dark when they first arrived, and it only got colder as Vernon and Ciri settled in.

It took nearly two hours before the two of them had a good warmth traveling around the rooms.

Vernon had caught a good-looking stag hauling with them as they made their way up to Kear Morhen.

"You know you might wanna cook that Roche," Ciri said as she gathered clean fabric for the beds. Vernon could cook a good meal even when the two of them were on a dirty path traveling together in the winter's cold breeze.

But here at Kear Morhen Vernon was the master of food. Cirir and Vernon hadn't gathered much hoping that Kear Morhen had some food left behind. Both being right, that night Ciri and Vernon ate like kings and queens in their books.

Stag, some small potatoes, and wine. A good meal that any witcher or traveler would dream to have every night. Cirir and Vernon didn't talk much during dinner. Rather than stuffing their faces with juicy meat, a wine that soothed the throat.

Later that night Vernon couldn't stay still from the lull of sleep coaxing him to bed with Cirir but that big beautiful sky that Kear Morhen looks out on was dragging him outside before he could manage his own feet.

It was beautiful outside. The contrast of lower city lights that were like stars in the distance, and cold that splashed hard against his warm flesh. Cirir hadn't noticed Vernon was gone til she walked outside, her gear had been taken off. A loose-fitted shirt that looked like it once belonged to Vernon was wrapped around her frame. Concealing her from the harsh cold outside.

"Vernon?" She said quietly. "Hi, doll." his words are short a roughness to them. "Are you okay?" The ever-concerned Cirir couldn't help but feel on edge even here at Kear Morhen. Not with her lover standing in plain sight.

"Yes, everything is fine, the stars they just caught my eye. We should go back inside. The cold is making your nose redden." Vernon said turning and taking Ciri's hand his own. The warmth was still laced around his skin heating Ciri up even with her cold witcher skin.

Ciri was like a heat magnet when she was in the right place and it didn't take long for the two of them to gather underneath the sheets.

Between the sheets, the warmth only grew. Legs tangled as the two of them faced each other with small smiles tracing both of their faces.

"You said the stars caught your eyes, "Ciri said first. Her hand was combing lightly through Vernon's hair. Small talk isn't what Vernon is good at, but something about Ciri always caused him to do the unthinkable and the uncomfortable because she was worth everything to him.

"Yeah, the stars they remind me," Vernon said, his hand resting nicely on her hip. The dip of her warm skin. "Come now Vernon don't keep me on a short leash," Ciri said tugging lightly on his short hair. "Fine fine, you win Ciri but only because you're so warm."

"They remind me of what it felt like. My childhood. Cold nights on the streets watching my mother from afar. Wishing and hoping for a better life. I wished on a lot of damn stars. But nothing ever came." Vernon said. The truth of his words hit him a little too hard for his liking.

"I wished on stars when I was a child to Vernon. I always wished for someone a warmth that I could never find. That was stripped away from me as a child." Ciri said as she snuggled deeper into Vernon touch. His body was a solid brick but it gave her safety and warmth. Even though she was a witcher Vernon had always been her safety. Her secure place. Arm and legs tanlged together in perfect harmony. Blancing on the string of love, hope, and tender moments.

Warning: Expect everything to be way out in left field, then take that expectation and throw it in a river. Remember, this is the witcher universe. It’s a cruel and violent world. Gore/sexual situations(con or not) will be described, strong/offensive language will be used. People will emotionally break and have their ability to “live on” tested (some might fail). What happens really just depends.

“Did you really have to rip up my tights? I would have removed them,” Regis questioned, a hard line forming between his eyebrows as he bent over to pick up a large scrap of cloth from the ground. The garment, much to his dismay, was totally unsalvageable, no amount of coin could save what used to be his favourite pair of green winter tights. Magic might have been an option; he was far better off than he used to be. The fact that he had managed to shift into his true form without skull crushing pain was proof of that. Still, he was no elder.

Whatever he conjured up from the scraps would have been nothing more than an illusion. Pretty to look at, if not totally useless and a waste of effort. Nope, all the tights were good for now was to wipe away the evidence of their violent and much-needed coupling.

Lovingly cursing his and Dettlaff’s ferocity and making a mental note to buy a new pair when they had a few moments to spare, Fitheach set to digging through his discarded satchel. The bag was fuller than ever before, thanks in part to his inability to enter the crypt that he had called home for the last two months. Thus, he had to pack more than just the usual medical items and herbs he tended to carry. Digging through the many interior pockets, Regis pushed aside the chew stick he used for his teeth and his favourite wide-tooth fish bone comb, before letting out a small aha!

Well, it seems the one thing everyone can agree on is that The Witcher: Blood Origin is absolute garbage. In fact, it basically represents everything wrong with modern entertainment. So let's take a look.

A Long time ago..Saphira was Waiting at the alter for a wedding...but then Her father Comes to the alter with Her Soon-to-be-ex fiance who’s name is Daniel James Wticher...He was grabbed by the ear by her father..and then Saphira was shocked and then Daniel’s mother grabbed His “Mistress” By the hair and She Brought that wench to the alter..and Saphira was Shocked and she said Saphira:” What is going on here?..And Who is She!?..” Daniel: “Saph..this isn’t what it looks like!..I swear” Mordue: “Oh you better tell her right now mister! No One is going to Cheat off my Daughter For some Harlot On the Big Day of the wedding!”  Then he yanked Daniels ears hard as Daniel squeals in pain.. Saph:”Is this true?..you cheated on me on the day of our wedding!?..Are you Serious!?..” Daniel:”Yes!..I cheated on you...I’m sorry...it was Just a Fling!” Saph:” A Fling?...A FUCKING FLING!! I’ve done nothing but a good woman for the past 5 years and now it went down the drain no thanks for your affairs..I’m leaving..and i don’t want to see your faces again!” Saphira angerly throw a Ring at him and left the wedding in tears, Then Daniels parents was Livid toward their Son, They began to make him and His Floozy to be married and Paid Saphira and her family compensation..plus a wedding cancellation fee as well..Then Saphira was now being bugged by Daniel...And No matter How many times daniel begs saphira forgiveness and all..She refused..and She said,”I’ve had enough! when i say it’s over...it’s...over..” Then saphira decided to move somewhere far far away from the town..So She found a nice and lovely mansion..they say it was haunted...by a Handsome man who was Cursed by a bride who was greedy for money..but Now..Saphira settles in..but then they told her to never Summons him...at the dead of Night..wearing a lovely bridal Gown..but then that night..She dressed up as a bride..and she holds out a lovely Blue roses..and she said in summoning words..,but nothing happens after she finished plucking the rose...but then the Cold air came..and the wind blew causing the petals to arise..and yes...Saphira has awaken the undead groom..and the voice said...

Hello! My current project is a ciri x Roche- lol sorry, I couldn't resist, what is with this girl. 😂 I'm working on a jaskier/Geralt fic today, or I will when I'm permitted to move. Right now my labor is required to pet a very good cat. He is orange and very fluffy. Do you have a current project you're excited about? If you're still taking prompts, how about something with cutagens? :3 Do you think cat wtichers, or witchers in general, scent mark the way real cats do? Now I'm picturing Geralt rubbing his jaw against Roach lol. Or you could do something with Jaskier discovering that wolf witchers all sleep together in piles in the winter, like puppies. I hope you got into safety from your hostage situation and managed to work a bit on your fic!

My creativity is a bit all over the place right now, I'm doing lots and lots of things. I returned to journaling, did a lot of crocheting, drew a bit, wrote a bit, got into fantasy map making, consumed a lot of Gab Smolders horror Let's Plays, started learning norwegian for no reason, etc. etc. Chaotic, but I'm having fun!

Fandomwise I'm also all over the place, but maybe returning a bit to the witcher? Honestly I just love this fandom so much, that's why I keep coming back. So many talented people. ❤❤❤

I have SO MANY cutagen thoughts. So many. So, so many. Have you read my stories? You should totally (re)read my cutagen stories! My main... focus? when I think about how different schools interact with each other is to think about how each school should have different cutagens to make them unique and kind of to keep things interesting? (a cut here because this got long)

See, I've had cats for most of my life and currently we have one cat and two doggos, so I can get a bit particular about cutagens. So whilst I definitely love the thought of all witchers purring when they're happy, part of me says NO! only kitties purr! (which would include Griffins and Manticores) What do wolves do then? Dogs and wolves have this kind of happy growl that's not really a growl just a kind of noise they make that varies from dog to dog. Some have a barky-howl, a soft awuu, others whine or huff. It's a bit hard to describe if you never heard it, but if you watch enough funny dog videos you know what I'm talking about. Especially some of the more vocal wolves just growl constantly which sometimes sounds like a dangerous growl, but they just have these... gravely growly voices.

Cats playing versus dogs playing is also super interesting. Both chase each other around the house, swat and paw at each other, biting is on the table but cats will just use their paws a lot more and dogs definitely bite more. If your cats get loud while playing, 60-70% of the time that's an angry noise. Dogs are almost always loud when playing rough and they're having the time of their life.

I actually fell in love with dogs when my friend took me out to walk two of them and she let them off leash and they immediately started playing like two feral viking gods- It looked so rough, they were so loud and fast and you could see the power behind it when they tackled each other with their full body weight. Absolutely chaotic. But they were having the time of their lives. (they were very well matched strength and size wise and had known each other for years, so it was totally normal for them to play this crazy)

Okay getting off track, you did this to yourself nonny. ❤😂

My favorite wolf witcher cutagen headcanon is that they have hackles. Just- a row of really dense, thick fur that starts just above their shoulder blades and grows along their spine/neckline up and into their hair. And it first starts to grow in when the mutagens slowly settle into their genes (there's this whole eating magic mushrooms thing before the Grasses) and some of the wolves decide to shave it off (especially those that spend more time in cities - makes them appear more normal) butthe hackles actually help a lot with communication. A raised hackle means distress of some sort and depending on how high it's raised the higher the level of stress is. But it's also great for character design- A dog's hackle depends on their fur texture and length. Really short hair means a spiky little hackle, icredibly long hair means you can't really see it rising and some dogs (like my own :3) have a type of fur that makes their hackle look like a hyena/dinosaur monster. Very prominent, very obvious and easy to read. (Lambert would have one of those.) I actually drew you some fanart that I will add to this post if I remember, where you can kind of see what I mean. 👀😁

Scent marking is a dominant trait in the cat cutagens. Everything and everyone has to be marked as someone's. No argument here. I don't really know if wolves do it as much as the cats, but at least a little bit. (I do like to write it into my stories because it's the right kind of possessive behaviour *swoon*) I think from a logical standpoint the big difference would be that dogs/wolves smell very strongly when wet and that anything they use a lot (like a favorite blanket or Jaskier) equally starts smelling like wet dog when wet. Can't say I noticed that with my cats. Also wet dogs are more prone to rub themselves against you? Don't know if that's a scent thing or a "you make a great towel" thing.....
