Prompt 15 - Afterlife

He remembered falling. He seemed to fall forever into the darkness, and then everything was white. He remembered Harry’s smiling face and Bellatrix’s shouted words. Then nothing. 

Where he was now was just endless white. He’d tried finding the end of it, but it just went on and on. Eventually, he sat down. The floor being the only solid thing he could find. 

He stayed there for longer than he knew how to count. Oddly, he never got hungry or thirsty or had any other urges. He was still able to transform into Padfoot, which he’d checked once he’d stopped looking for the end of the white. He got used to the white and began to find it quite calming.

He was dozing sometime into eternity when the white changed. A small dot appeared and it slowly spread. He was transfixed as he watched grass and trees sprout out of nothing. Blue sky and sunshine flooded the white in front of him. But hard as he tried he couldn’t move any nearer to it. He sat down and huffed. 

He watched the trees swaying in the breeze he couldn’t feel. The sun moved slowly across the sky and just as it was setting someone cleared their throat. 

“Hello, sweetheart,” Sirius’s eyes welled up as he spun around at the familiar voice. His voice caught in his throat as he stumbled forward to the figure surrounded by the white. Sirius fell into Remus’s outstretched arms and inhaled the familiar scent of chocolate, cigarettes and cedar wood. 

“I’ve missed you so much,” He wept into Remus’s shoulder. Remus’s arms tightened around him, and he kissed the top of Sirius’s curls. 

“I’ve missed you too, sweetheart, so, so, so much.” Remus sighed, stroking his hand up and down Sirius’s trembling back. “That looks nice,” Remus tilted his head towards the forest. Sirius nodded. 

“It arrived just before you did. It’s only been completely white for me before now, but I can’t get to it,” He replied sadly. 

“Well, maybe we can try together?” Remus smiled down at him. Sirius noticed that Remus's face was no longer marred by the deep claw marks that had criss-crossed it since he was a teen. Remus took Sirius’s hand and began to lead him forward. 

Sirius looked at the darkening trees and caught sight of the full moon rising above them. 

Remus dropped his hand and was gone. In his place was the wolf, but the change had been instantaneous, with no pain and the wolf didn’t seem at all bothered that there was a human standing beside it. 

The wolf turned its enormous head to look at him and Sirius’s breath caught. Remus’s eyes stared back at him. He knew it was Remus looking at him and not the wolf by how kind the eyes were. He transformed into Padfoot, and they walked into the woods together, where they were met at the tree line by a magnificent stag and a tiny doe. All four of them walked into the forest and disappeared into their forever.

i am. tired. u may have noticed that i am... "American" n what not.

I dont have the mental stability to keep up w all the... everything. but news of so and so trying to take citizenship from ppl born here whose parents came here Illegally (unconstitutional, not feasible, most likely just a scare tactic) made its way to me. and 2 things.

1) "we're gonna stop illegal immigration by retroactively making more people into illegal immigrants" ...very cool guys. very smart.

2) im like. 2nd gen i think? my mom was born here but her bio dad was not lol. hope my bio gramps doing ok wherever he is. never met the guy and tbh he sounds like a dick from what lil i know of him, but no one deserves. yknow. the. well i dont think theyre called camps but i cant remember the word. detention center or smth? im tired lol

awesome first shiny! my first shiny (in sv) I got was today and it was an exeggcute (I was playing the indigo disk dlc)

NICE yeah i ended up with fucking. TWO shiny exeggutor and a shiny exeggcute while i was shiny hunting other pokémon. the game has kinda cursed me a little bit to the point where i'll be doing everything in my power to increase my shiny odds for One Specific Pokémon that i'm hunting and then the game decides to give me full-odds shinies for Literally Anything Else. i have a clip saved where the game decided to give me TWO shiny exeggutor on ONE SCREEN while i was shiny hunting trapinch one time

you can see from the long pause how distraught i was. that this happened. i did the math and without the shiny charm the odds here would be somewhere in 1 in 16 million i think. i have many more clips like this but none of them are of this Fucking Magnitude

↑ this would also be a pretty cool name. i think. it's certainly easier to pronounce than "fiarrow"—"flarrow" would be a totally badass name for talonflame. pokémon company take notes

Thinking of Holiday’s parents asking how Beverly’s treatment is going at Providence and Rebecca being unable to give updates and trying to reassure them. Meanwhile she’s stressed and trying to make sure her sister is okay and knowing that she’s an incurable for a good long while.

Look Holiday only mentions her parents once and that’s when Beverly is cured. How much guilt was she holding? We know she was so self determined for a cure. The weight of Beverly being an incurable is probably the most heaviest thing for the family. It’s a shock with how little we know of Rebecca. It’s understandable that we don’t know much of Six or White Knight, but we know Rebecca has family and just thinking of how heartbreaking the who EVO situation is. The parents probably believed that Beverly would receive go treatment at Providence.

I don’t think it was intended, but Nanites is a disability/illness allegory, outcast allegory and racism allegory. The disability/illness allegory is sad when consider the fact that they were intended to cure people. Then you incurables and family members worrying for your health. Gosh darn it.

more c!tommy thought. what if he had killed himself in exile and Dream just revived him. what if Tommy had jumped over and over again. how long would it take before Tommy saw old photos of himself and realized his hair is a full shade lighter than before? would he ever acknowledge it, or would he just shake a little more as he told the story about how he “tried” to die?
