(The Pirate and the Kraken AU)

*the ship had been torn apart by red and gold tentacles while they chased the infamous pirate ship Eden, the ship was known for being staffed by exclusively female pirates called the Exorcists in spite of it being said that it was bad luck to have a woman on a ship and the captain was an equally beautiful man who was rumored to have a sea devil guarding him, the royal captain Michael struggled to cling to a piece of debris, he was the only survivor, sitting on the debris was a man with slicked back blonde hair white skin with red circles on his cheeks while shark like fangs filled his mouth, he wore black pants and black high heel boots, a white shirt that was half open and white jacket with red and gold accents, while the tentacles coming from back were no longer gigantic, he recognized the red and gold tentacles*

Michael: You’re the Kraken, the Sea Devil himself Lucifer Morningstar.

Lucifer: I have to keep telling everyone that I don’t like you chasing my future Queen.

*Michael gaped at Lucifer, he was planning on marrying one of the pirates on Eden, but Lucifer used his boot to shove Michael’s head under the water which made him thrash until he was dead*

Lucifer internally: Thankfully I have Charlie pretend to be a new recruit to the Exorcists so I can keep an eye on my rare gem.

*on Eden Charlie was in her human disguise being given a tour of the ship from a beautiful pirate lady named Vaggie, Charlie stopped in her tracks when she saw a man and a woman talking, the woman was the first mate Lute, but it was the Captain who held her interest because he was her father’s rare gem as he liked to call him, he was tall with short brown hair, he was dressed in dark blue, black, and gold there was a scar running through his left eye where he lost it when he started out as a pirate and he put a gold topaz in the empty eye socket, his remaining eye was honey brown*

Vaggie: Sir, this is Charlotte Magne.

*Magne was the fake last name she gave because Morningstar was the last name of legendary sea devil her father*

Charlie: Most people call me Charlie.

Adam: As long as you are willing to work you are welcome, my name is Captain Adam Kadmon, welcome to Eden.

*Vaggie finished giving Charlie the tour and gave her a job, while working she kept an eye on Adam since her father gave her the job to guard him while he found the potion to make it so Adam could live with him underwater, that night Charlie waited as Lucifer used his tentacles to climb aboard*

Lucifer: I have to see him Charlie.

*Charlie could tell her dad was deeply in love with this pirate Captain*

Charlie: He is sleeping, so it should be easy.

*Lucifer snuck into the captain’s quarters, he was struck by how beautiful the sleeping man was, he could tell by the thin sheet being the only thing covering Adam that he slept naked*

Lucifer internally: You are such a beautiful and rare gem, soon you shall be mine.

*Lucifer then leaned forward and kissed Adam on the lips as he slept*

Luicfer softly caressed his face, he couldn't wait for the day that he could make Adam his Queen.

He looked over his body that was only hidden by a sheet and Luicfer wished he could see all of him. He's been keeping Adam and his crew safe all these months since he laid eyes on the captain.

If Lucifer found out who took his eye he'd kill them too.

Lucifer: Soon darling.~

Adam sighed in his sleep, he was having such a lovely dream.

When Lucifer left he handed Charlie a map to the island where the crown was.

Lucifer: Make sure he goes after it alone once he's inside.

Charlie: Yes dad.

Lucifer left and now he waited for his love to come to him.

In the morning when Adam got ready for the day he felt so good. He felt even better when his new hire came to him with a map.

Charlie: It's said to lead to a very valuable crown captain.

Adam looked it over and smiled: Good work Charlie. We'll set sail at high noon.

Double Life AU

Part 1

After the failed extermination, and the death of Adam. The hotel was rebuilt, all returned to normal. 300 years went by in a flash with Charlie hotel being a success. And her dream of having sinners being redeemed came true. The extermination was stopped and dismantled resulting in the exorcist being disbanded. Lucifer was so proud of his daughter.

Lucifer standing in the hotel lobby chatting to his darling daughter: Char, how everything is going so far honey. I thought I would swing by and check up on you before I go to my meeting with the sins.

Charlie rolls her eyes and smiles: Everything is going fine as usual dad,I have a meeting with Emily later on. But enough that you seem more happy lately, did something good happened?

Lucifer beams with joy of how proud he was for his daughter. Then sweats and smiles nervously: Oh you know the usual created more ducks, and I started getting into a new hobby baking.

Charlie is excited and hugs her dad: That’s wonderful dad, I’m glad you’re trying new hobbies. I’m so proud of you

Lucifer releases a sign of relief: Oh look at the time sweetie it looks like I got to go. I shall come by tomorrow to check up on you. Tell Maggie I said hi

Charlie: Ok dad I see you later, would you also bring some of your baked goods by the hotel? I would love to have the hotel resident to try your baked goods.

Lucifer smiles and waves goodbye: Okay Char I do that, I see you later.

Charlie waves him off: By dad

Lucifer then opened the portal and stepped into a lush green forest. Lucifer put on his human disguise, he has blue eyes, pale skin, claws turned into human hands, red circles on his cheeks change into a light blush, nose and ears. As he makes his way out of the forest towards the cabin. Lucifer stands at the front door, and dust himself off and fix his clothes and hair. With a snap of his fingers, a bouquet of sunflowers appeared.

Lucifer takes a deep breath and smiles as he proceeds to open the door and steps into the cabin: Honey, I’m home!

A beautiful woman with long wavy red and brown auburn hair that reaches down to her butt. With striking gold eyes that simmer when the sun reflects it. Sun kiss tan skin, and curvy in all the right places. Wearing a long flowing white sundress with sunflowers embroidered in it with a pair of white sandals. Adele walks from the kitchen to her husband and kisses him on the lips. Notice the flowers Lucifer holding: Lu-bear welcome home and happy 5th anniversary. Oh, are these for me they’re so beautiful and my favorite flowers.

Lucifer melts into her kiss and smiles as he hands her the flowers: Anything for my darling beautiful wife and happy 5th anniversary love.

Adele blushes as she sticks the sunflowers in a vase, her husband has a way with words: I made all your favorites Lu-bear, I made you this, I hope you like it

Adele went to receive Lucifer's present under their shared bed and proceeded to hand it to him. Lucifer smiles and proceeds to open his gift and his eyes wide. As he pulls out a cardigan that looks at it as the most precious thing he ever gotten. It looks like it’s been crocheted, and proceeds to put it on. It’s a white cardigan with little ducks and apples crocheted into it.

Lucifer gave Adele a deep passionate kiss: Dove I love it, this is the best gift I ever gotten.

Adele was breathless and flush and a bit dizzy: I’m glad you love it Lu-bear.

Lucifer pulls out a small box and proceeds to hand it to Adele: Dove I also got you something

Adele opens the box and there sits a gold heart locket with two ducks cuddling together. Adele opens the locket and it has a picture of them on their wedding day.

Adele smiles so brightly: Oh Lu-bear I love it, would you put it on me.

Lucifer's eyes softened and smiles. He took the necklace out if the box’s and put it around Adele’s neck: Of course dove, allow me

Adele hugs and kiss him again: I love you Lu-bear

Lucifer grins with a goofy smile, with lust in his eyes and wiggles his eyebrows: I love you too dove, shall we make love?

Adele’s blushes and laughs: What about dinner?

Lucifer smiles mischievous and picks up Adele bridal style and starts to kiss her while heading towards their shared bedroom: We can eat after, and besides I would rather eat you first.

Adele's eyes widened and her breath hitch: L-Lu!

Lucifer laughs as he throws Adele onto the bed and climbs on top of her and made love to Adele. Morning rays leaked through the blinds, and the morning birds were chirping. Adele slowly woke up and noticed Lucifer wasn’t there in their bed. But there was a note left by Lucifer that said.

“Dove, I have an important meeting this morning for work, sorry I couldn’t be there when you woke up. But I made you my famous pancakes, I see you as soon as my meeting is over. I love you with all my heart and soul Dove. ~Love, Lucifer ”

Adele was sad, but she understands his job is important and she knows he always makes it up to her. Adele gets ready for today, puts on a light green dress with a white cardigan, and a pair of brown slides. Adele heads towards the kitchen and has some breakfast that her husband made her.

Down in Hell

Lucifer arrives at the Hotel with the baked goods he promised his daughter: Char, I brought the goodies!

Charlie excitedly smiles: Thanks dad your the best

Charlie grabs the container of sweets and hands them to her wife Vaggie to put away. Charlie notices her dad wearing a handmade cardigan.

Charlie: Dad, that's a cute cardigan, did you make it?

Lucifer beams with pride, and puffs out his chest: My wi— I mean my friend yes friend made it as a gift.

Charlie: You made a friend dad. I would love to meet them.

Lucifer sweats nervously: Ah well they’re one of my old friends you already met. So there's no need for you to meet them again.

Charlie looks at him curiously: Who

Lucifer think to himself he would apologize to Ozzie later: Your Uncle Ozzie made this as a gift for me

Charlie: Uncle Ozzie! I wonder if he can make me a unicorn and rainbow one. I’m going to text him right now.

Lucifer eyes wide and panics: No Char! I let Ozzie know, I’m supposed to meet with him later on today.

Charlie jumped a bit: Are you sure dad

Lucifer: Yes Sweetie, how about we have some sweets I made and some tea? And you tell me how your meeting with Emma go.

Charlie: Okay dad can Vaggie join us as well?

Lucifer relaxed: Of course sweetie go ahead and get Maggie. And I go prepared the tea and snacks.

I was thinking of a cool AU that is a crossover with Hazbin Hotel and MHA. It is Applepie where Adam, Lucifer, and Eve are top three heroes in training in their class of their hero training school. They are sent to Japan to help the heroes there against the League of Villains. Adam is the top of his class with Lucifer as the second and Eve as third. Here is some info about them.

Name: Adam Kadmon

Hero Name: Exorcist

Quirk: Able to shoot powerful beams of light from his hands and flight.

Unique Feature: A pair of gold wings that grew when he was a child and his quirk developed.

Hero Uniform: Black leather jacket with gold spikes on it, black leather pants, dark blue shirt with the gold A design his robes have, black combat boots with gold spikes on them, and the horned helmet/mask combo he wears in Hazbin Hotel.

Name: Lucifer Morningstar

Hero Name: Morningstar

Quirk: Can shapeshift into pretty much any animal, it can only be an animal that exists so he can’t turn into something like a dragon or griffin. He can modify his shapeshifting so he just takes on only the features he wants like growing wings.

Unique Feature: White skin with red circles on his cheeks and fangs for teeth. His feet are hooves and parts of his body have fur on them under his clothes.

Hero Uniform: He wears the white and red suit with knee high black boots with heels like his Hazbin Hotel counterpart does. But he doesn’t wear a top hat like his Hazbin Hotel counterpart does.

Name: Eve Barlow (last name I chose for her)

Hero Name: Lady Eden

Quirk: Plant manipulation and plant creation, can make weapons from the plants. Is also immune to any poisons created from plants.

Unique Feature: Flowers grow in her hair.

Hero Uniform: A short dress with long billowing sleeves made from vines that she can use to fight with. Wears knee high combat boots with flowers on them.

I can see Adam in this AU really getting along with Katsuki Bakugo and the rest of Class 1-A going “Oh no, there are two of them” when they see Adam hanging out with Katsuki.

How Many Words I Wrote in 2024: 158 050

Question Stuff:

What was the most surprising thing about writing in 2024? Hmm, honestly I would have to say the amount of Diasomnia in my Twisted Wonderland fics this year. I don't have a bunch that are Diasomnia-centric, but I do have them featured a lot more in fics this year as compared to last year. I'm not disappointed by that; I'm actually really happy because I really love writing things from Sebek's perspective (when he will *let* me) and I'm wanting to become more comfortable with writing both Malleus and Silver; as I find I struggle more with them.

What was the most enjoyable to write? I had a TON of fun writing the single Whumptober fic I did this year. Your Black and White needs a Little bit of Red is a Haikyuu! cannibal fanfic featuring my fave couple: Bokuto and Akaashi :D. It was so fun to write Akaashi becoming worse and worse the more he frets about staying close to Bokuto. I love reading and writing cannibalism as a metaphor for love, and I love love love the imagery of red on white. I'd have to say that my favourite parts are the scenes where Akaashi is bleeding in the tub.

Which fic is the most underrated? Well, when I consider fandom and how popular a ship is as well as how long each fic has been posted, I feel like my underrated fic this year is My Little Vampiress, a Link Click Halloween fic where Lu Guang dresses up as a Vampiress and Cheng Xiaoshi dresses up as a Vampire Thrall. I had a lot of fun writing it and I put a lot of work into it. I posted it on October 31, of course, lol. The Christmas shopping fic for that same series that I posted in December (Shopping in a Winter Wonderland) has already flown past that one in hits, kudos, and bookmarks. Of course, it's not that I'm really upset over that, because I wrote both those fics and I love them both! And, I am so happy anytime someone leaves a kudos, comment, or bookmark! I just really love Halloween and really worked hard on the Halloween fic too, so I would be overjoyed to see it get more attention and love :) That being said, I totally understand not everyone likes Halloween, and I would never want to force people to read something they don't like!

Which fic(s) had something "cut" or an idea that never happened? We'll Light up the Dark, the Twisted Wonderland fic I gifted Kimium for Christmas, was originally going to have Yuu walking Sebek through each step to putting out the grease-fire. I decided to scrap that version because 1. I figured Sebek would know at least a little fire safety and be able to think enough to turn the heat off and know the difference between a grease fire and a regular fire, and 2. it felt far too clunky for the scene. I also toyed with the idea of another scene in Don't Take These Beautiful Things That I've Got, a Blue Exorcist BonRin oneshot. I thought about adding a small flash-forward to the wedding, but in the end I liked where it ended and decided to discard that idea. I also considered describing their night out more, but it wasn't so pertinent to the story so I left it vague.

Which fic(s) did you want to write but didn't get around to? I wanted to write a second Whumptober fic, for the Body Horror prompt. I love horror, and I love body horror. I had an idea involving an ominous garden (again) and was thinking about using Haikyuu boys (again) but I ended up not having the energy and then my will to write the idea kind of died after November. I think that's the only one I didn't get to working on this year that I really really really wanted to do. Other fics may not have been published but they definitely got some work done on them, so I won't count them here.

Any WIPs that never got published? Oh, a few! - Pomefiore Poison fic for the Saw AU Kimium and I write. I have put a substantial amount of work into this one, but unfortunately it is not ready for posting yet. I am hoping to have it done and posted before the end of January, as I now have a few less other projects going on and can focus more on it. - 2 of my 3 merperson AUs for Link Click have multiple chapters written but nothing posted yet. (I need to be able to bounce between writing projects when my brain won't brain for certain ones, so when that happened I would write a few paragraphs for those wips and then bounce back to my other ones). I want to keep those ones not posted until I have my Inconvenience Store finished because posting too many multichapter things at once makes it hard for me to keep up with what I'm doing and make sure I'm working on them both instead of favouring one over the other... - my vampire Idia x human Kalim fic. There are, again, a couple chapters written, but I haven't gotten to posting it and I do want to wait because as I said, too many multichapter fics at once is more stress for me than it's worth, lol.

               Silence greeted her. She glanced around again, looking for any hint of movement or any sign of a hiding place. She ignored the ringing in her ears and the tiny voice in her head that whispered none of her friends were the prankster type. She tried again. “Really, guys, I get it. It’s a good one! Lock the reporter in the murder trap. But, I have things to do. Let me out, kay?”                No one answered. Nothing moved. Jessica’s heart sped up and the room started to spin. She stumbled over to the table and sat in the only chair in the room.                The chalices were tall and elegant, like something from a themed dinner. She looked around again, for something – anything – that would give away who had done this. There was nothing.                With trembling hands, she set the tape recorder on the smooth table. “Alright, fine,” she mumbled, trying her best to sound annoyed rather than scared. “I’ll play your little game. This is an escape room thing, right? You guys know I hate puzzles. Fuck you.” She pressed ‘play’.

8. Which fic was the one you were most excited to write? I'd have to say I was most excited to write Stay With Me, Darling, a Link Click wing-fic oneshot; based on the sheer fact that it was less than 24 hours that I saw the inspiration, had the idea, and wrote and posted the fic. Like, I don't know if I've ever been that possessed by an idea. Kimium showed me the promotional music video 'Break' since I hadn't watched it yet, and within 16 hours of watching it with her, I went home and wrote that wingfic, lol. Definitely felt like I was but a vessel for the story, hahaha.

9. Fic hopes for the New Year? I want to write *more*. I didn't write/post as much this year as I have in past years, and that kind of made me sad, even though there were a lot of external factors impacting my abilities this time around. I just love writing so much and I have so many ideas I want to put out there and I have so many fic ideas that I'm in the planning stages on. I have so many fic ideas that I've started. I just want to write them all so much. Maybe I should start a spreadsheet...

5$ for 500 words. (500 word min) 

10$ =1k

20$= 2k 

30$= 3k etc 

Max 10k words 

Every word past 5k is discounted at 5$ every thousand words rather than 10$ (ex: 60k fic would be 55$ rather than 60 etc etc. 10k stories for 75$)

Three rounds of edits for free, anything past that I will charge an additional 3$ So please please be specific in what you want. (this does not include grammar or spell check, those will be done before I offer first edit rounds)

What is this AU?

It is a universe where there is a crossover between different fandoms and different universes, the curious detail here is that… each character is a magical or mystical creature! They even live exposed to the magic of this world.

In this AU there are different creatures and kingdoms in all the confines of this alternate universe. There are different types of magic that make up the variety of powers and spells that its inhabitants can possess, although in its uses it can be used for attacks, defense, healing, invocation and among others.

But although it sounds like a magical fantasy world and with a lot of wonder to show, don't trust it, there are also dangers and dark forces and creatures that can be a threat if you have no idea how to guide yourself or be very careful where you walk.

What magical or mythical creatures exist?

In this world there is a great variety of creatures or races that fill this Au with life, among them there are:

-Harpies -Sirens -Faeries -Ajins (or geniuses) -Nymphs -Goblins

-Elves -Fauns -Ghost -Demons -Angels -Dragons

-Beastmen (insects, marine, flying, reptiles, transmutable creatures etc)

What magic, spells or powers are there?

There are a variety of powers and types of magic that each creature possesses, such powers usually have categories or classifications or are already specific to each race. These would be:

-Elementals (fire, water, air, earth, etc)

-Psychics

-supernatural

-summoning magic

-healing

-alchemy

-creation magic

-taming or taming of beasts

-delusions

-music or harmony

-white magic (light, energy, purification)

-black magic (darkness, corruption)

-gray magic (an intermediate point between white and black but its dangerousness or safety will depend on its use and the morality of the person who uses it)

-red magic (just as dangerous as black magic but it is a mystery, its counterpart is blue magic)

-blue magic (just as safe as white magic but it is a mystery, its counterpart is red magic)

-purple/violet/purple magic (just like gray magic is intermediate between blue and red...its dangerousness or safety will depend on its use and the morality of the user).

What places exist within this Au?

So far there is only this information that speaks a little about this world except not the locations, towns, kingdoms and others, since it is barely in development so a map for it will still be thinking as the concept ends.

How do they get their powers?

The way to obtain this magic depends on the genetic inheritance of both parents to the son/daughter, either inherited from one of them or a fusion/variant of both powers

However, there is also the one that they can learn other types of magic and spells in addition to the one they are born with, giving them the possibility of acquiring more abilities and greater possibilities.

But also, it is common for some races or depending on the individual to be born without any power.

What categories or classes of occupations exist in this world?

In this world there are different occupations or categories that the character can decide to be if it refers to combat and adventure, among them there are:

-Warrior -goalkeeper -magician -medicine man -cleric

-alchemist -explorer -Puppeteer -fighter

How do you get to this world?

The way to get there is complicated, since many other AUs do not know how to travel to this universe so far. The way it would be achieved would be to find hidden portals or that appear randomly anywhere in some universe (in all or some), mostly some opened by someone else or by a being of greater power.

In case it is discovered, there would be the possibility of creating an artifact or portal that needs some energy source to keep it active or thanks to the use of an object that you can find but rarely.

With just over a day left to sign up as a creator for Fandom Trumps Hate 2023, here's a quick roundup of all of the numbers:

We have 705 offers by 527 creators (I've had to update this three times while writing this post!). Of those, 97 are offering to work in ANY fandom! The rest have signed up offering fanworks in 273 fandoms, including 177 write-in fandoms! (To compare that with roughly the same time last year, as we approached 24 hours left to sign up for FTH2022 we had 680 offers from 525 creators in 257 fandoms including 153 write-ins … meaning we have 23 more offers in 16 more fandoms by the same number of creators for 2023 … SO FAR.)

Jibaku Shounen Hanako-kun: Ghost Hotel’s Café (Part 1)

Sneaking into a collaboration café that has the image of a “ghost hotel”! A cute and horrific space where one can feel at home for an “eternity”.

The Ghost Hotel’s Café, a collaboration café for “Jibaku Shounen Hanako-kun” - one of the mangas currently being serialized in G Fantasy (Square Enix) -, was held in Tokyo, Ikebukuro’s AniPara Café, for a limited period from 12/05/2019 to 02/11/2020. In this collaboration café, the inside of the shop was decorated with “Jibaku Shounen Hanako-kun”, where people can taste collaboration food and drinks, as well as purchase exclusive goods that cannot be acquired anywhere except in this café. This time, Pash! PLUS has been there for the first half of the event, which lasted from 12/05/2019 to 01/08/2020!

Welcome to the interior of the “Ghost Hotel”. You can relax here forever.

Ikebukuro’s AniPara Café is located on the 7th floor of a building that sits at a five-minute walk from the east exit of Ikebukuro (the Seven-Eleven on the 1st floor is a landmark!). This time, the collaboration café is based on the image of “Jibaku Shounen Hanako-kun” x “Ghost Hotel”, and when the door is opened, the characters of “Hanako-kun”, who became employees at the “Ghost Hotel”, will welcome you.

The adorable characters drawn by AidaIro-sensei are everywhere in the store! As there were already many pop-like and cute illustrations in display at the entrance, we were stuck there for a while. However, this is a “ghost hotel”. Perhaps something more than just cute may be waiting...!?

Enormous panels of Hanako-kun, Nene and Kou were installed at the entrance to the main floor. By the way, if you looked veeery closely at the panels, there was a certain hidden message in them, or something like that. What’s more, the characters of “Hanako-kun” were hiding around the store in miniature versions... Check out every corner if you visit this collaboration café. The playfulness of the “ghost hotel’s employees” may be hidden all over.

Moreover, an original story by AidaIro-sensei was posted on the official Twitter of this collaboration café (@hanakokuncafe). If you check the backstory that led to the opening of the Ghost Hotel in advance, you may enjoy it from a different perspective!

In addition, there are many display panels of “Jibaku Shounen Hanako-kun” around the store. It is a luxurious space where you can enjoy the adorable and vivid world drawn by Aida-sensei during the meantime until the collaboration menu arrives. It’s cute everywhere.

And when it comes to the place where the protagonist Hanako-kun belongs to, it has to be the toilet. This collaboration café’s toilet is a beautiful one at first glance, but when you sit down...

Just like ghosts, they “suddenly” appear everywhere in the store. While at this collaboration café, it may be best to pay attention to signs of their presence, so that you will be ready to encounter them anytime.

When it comes to collaboration cafés, the food and drinks are indispensable! This collaboration café has the “Ghost Hotel’s Café Afternoon Tea”, which includes an invitation to the Ghost Hotel; Hanako-kun’s favorite food, “Hanako-kun’s Floaty Doughnut”; “Mistuba’s Showy Pasta”, a pink pasta that aims for “flashiness”; the sparkly “Mokke’s Delightful Candy Cake”, modeled after candies, the Mokke’s staple food; and “The Edible Plots of Nene from the Gardening Club”, which looks almost like a plot and has a connection with the fact that Nene is part of the gardening club.

Cute and unique foods and drinks such as “Natsuhiko’s Room Service Cocoa”, which has chocolates shaped as screws as its main point, and “Teru’s Holy Exorcist Blue Soda”, which seems to be refreshingly purified by a combination of blue syrup and lychee soda, also made an appearance.

On the occasion, we ordered “Hanako-kun’s Vampire Berry Tea” and “Nene’s Welcome Drink” out of the many menu items. We actually tried them!

Berry tea with the image of a “vampire” Hanako! At first glance, it has a dark red, tomato juice-like color (metaphor), but it is a beautiful drink that looks like rubies when you hold it in the light.

On the topic of berry tea, there are many people who wonder, “Doesn’t the taste of the black tea get too light because the taste of berries is too strong?” but Hanako-kun’s Vampire Berry Tea presents a good balance between the taste of tea and of berries, so we wound up humming without thinking, “I was waiting for this balance!”. There are three types of berries as topping and you can enjoy their texture, so for the people who are indecisive about their drink, we recommend Hanako-kun’s Vampire Berry Tea!

■ “Nene’s Welcome Drink” 600 yen (tax included)

Nene’s Welcome Drink welcomes the visitors into the Ghost Hotel. Gold leaves floating on a pale bluish ramune soda, and rather than being “a nostalgic drink from childhood”, it has a mysterious beauty that makes you feel like you “might be able to go to a different world” if you drink it.

As the name “Welcome Drink” implies, you can enjoy a refreshing feeling with this beverage when it goes down your throat. It might be a good idea to firstly have a toast with Nene’s Welcome Drink, and then order the food and drinks that you are curious about!

Now, if you order a “Jibaku Shounen Hanako-kun” collaboration food and drink, you can get a random coaster (9 types in the first half/12 types in the second half). ♪ (Picture is from the first half.)

And these story cards (12 types in total) are available at random for each visit!

Also, if you eat at the café for more than 1,500 yen and collect three stamps, you can get an original can mirror. This, too, is cute!

Come to this a cute and slightly horrific (?) space interwoven by “Jibaku Shonen Hanako-kun”. Is it up to you whether or not you will become unable to ever return from the cozy Ghost Hotel.

Day 30 & 31: Showdown and Anticlimax

“Why don’t you show yourself, ‘Mistress’?”

Reimu Hakurei looked around, trying to find the mastermind of this plot.  The moon had risen by this late hour; not that you could see it clearly, just a pale red glow behind the scarlet fog.  There was a great rumbling in the air, and a cloud of bats flew past Reimu, converging in a swarming mass.  From this writhing, a figure emerged.  

A slender young girl, her skin a bloodless, pallid shade.  She was clad in soft pinks and vibrant reds in an aristocratic, gothic, western style, two leathery bat wings, black as night against the red mist, spouted from her back, lazily flapping far too slowly to support her, but still she hung in the air before her.  She brushed a lock of her wavy, powder-blue hair behind one pointed ear and looked down at Reimu.

“Ah, just one?  I was told there were two human intruders,” she said in a vaguely western accent.  

An outsider then, Reimu guessed, based on her voice. “Sorry to disappoint, but it’s just me for now.  The other one is dealing with your pet wizard,” she said.  She and Marisa had been ambushed by the maid and the librarian, and they had split up to deal with them.

“Oh, so that’s how it all worked out.  I look forward to seeing the book Patchy will bind with her skin.”  The looks of quiet amusement as she said this betrayed her age, thought Reimu.  The hint of bemused malice in her child’s voice and the shadow of sadism that crossed her too-young face told Reimu that whatever this thing was, it was nowhere near as young as it appeared.

“And I assume you’re looking to do something similar to me, yeah?” Reimu asked.  She shifted her grip on her gohei purification rod and stared back into those blood-red, slit-pupiled eyes.  “Something cruel and unspeakable?”

“It’s not polite to assume things, especially about your host,” the girl responded.  She folded her hands in front of her, like they were making polite conversation.  “I’m rather thinking of asking you to leave my manor for this behavior.  You’ve harassed my staff, disrupted their work, annoyed my friend and if you don’t leave soon you may disturb my dear sister.”

“Well, remove the red fog from Gensokyo, and you might make it back to your dear sister in one piece,” Reimu said, drawing a handful of ofuda talismans.

“If you think this is a game, priestess, you’re sadly mistaken,” the girl said.  She flicked her hand and a massive, intricately ornate winged spear flew into her outstretched palm, too fast for Reimu to tell where it had come from.  “This is all too real.”  They both smiled tightly.

“Looks like it's going to be a long night.”

“Looks like it's going to be a fun night.”

Reimu Hakurei awoke from another dream, again anxious, disappointed and confused.  These dreams of a fantasy land were always so exciting, but when she awoke it all turned back to crushing disappointment as she remembered her real life.

She rolled checked her bedside clock, and despite wanting to stay in bed another hour, she judged that it was time to start her day.  She rolled off her futon and began her morning routine.  Boil a kettle for tea, brush hair, toast bread, find clothes.  As she spread a tiny amount of jam on her toast, she tried to remember what her dream had been about.  Another of her many heroic fantasies, like all dreams they faded almost as soon as she woke up.  But this one had been so intense, was she fighting a vampire with a spear?

She finished her toast, and found some clean clothes.  A once-bright red hoodie, now a deeper, faded color, and an equally old pair of khaki cargo pants, now devoid of almost all color except the dull smear of age.  She slipped into her pair of beat-up sneakers and tied up her hair into a loose bun, tied with one of her keepsakes from her mother, a red, frilled ribbon.  The locals had always talked about her with such admiration, Reimu felt a private shame that she couldn’t remember much of anything about her, but the ribbon and the two red fabric tubes she wore on her long sidelocks felt familiar in a way nothing else did.

Finally dressed, she slid her front door up, and stepped out into the mid-morning fog of Gensokyo, Tokyo.  Tucked away between Shinkaji and Shimokitazawa, the neighborhood was oft-forgotten by the authorities, filled equally with retirees and hipsters.  Reimu grabbed her broom from inside the Hakurei Shrine, and closed the door.  She checked her donation box on her way down the stairs, and pocketed the spare coins; judging them enough for a sandwich lunch from the corner store later in the day.  She set to sweeping the path between the torii and the shrine, trying to keep this tiny corner of nature wedged between urban sprawl clean.

“Um, hello?” came a voice from behind her.  Reimu turned to see a pale salaryman, sick mask over his face, looking around nervously as he stood on the threshold beneath the torii gate.  She turned and answered him.

“Hello, what are you looking for?” she said, leaning on her broom.

“Are you…the manager of this shrine?” he asked, looking around.

“No, but I would be if shrines had managers,” Reimu responded, wondering what this could possibly be about.  Another real estate stooge trying to buy up the shrine?

“Oh well, um,” he stumbled over his words before continuing. “I’ve got a bit of a weird problem, and I was given this flyer about it…” he produced a slip of paper and offered it to Reimu and she took it.  It read in white lettering outlined in red: “Exorcisms and Spiritual Exterminations: Hakurei Shrine Services” with a picture of the shrine and the address.  Marisa had made these for her months ago, and little had come from putting them all over the neighborhood except for one near-signed old woman trying to get Reimu to handle her tatami mite infestation.  Did Marisa print more of them without telling her?

“Where did you get this?” Reimu asked.   

The man looked even more nervous.  “Well, I was out drinking after work a few nights ago, and I may have started complaining about how…” he paused, looking embarrassed.  Reimu gestured for him to continue, and he collected himself.  “About how the apartment above mine is haunted.  One of the other regulars at the bar said that she knew a great exorcist who could settle the spirit, and she gave me that flyer.  Is that you?”

“Yes, that’s me,” Reimu said to try and calm his obvious nerves. “Do you know this regular?”

“Um, I don’t know her name.” Reimu gestured for him to continue again, and the man explained: “Tall, middle aged, blond hair, dressed in a dark purple business suit.  The bartender says she’s a night owl: stays until dawn, then leaves.”  Despite the right hair color, that didn’t sound anything like Marisa.  After thinking it over for a moment and coming up with nothing, she returned her attention to the salaryman.

“So, a haunted apartment above yours?” she asked.

“Yes, I’ve spoken to the building manager, but she doesn’t believe me.  She walked me through the apartment when I lodged a noise complaint, she said it’s empty because of some kind of rot in the floorboards that she can’t find anyone to fix, but…”

“What kind of noises are you hearing?”

“Moaning, scratching, and loud thumps at the floor,” he said.  “At first, it thought it must be someone that was kidnapped, or held against their will, but since she showed me that it’s empty and she keeps the door locked, I’m convinced it’s haunted.  It’s happened every night for two months now, and I can’t get any sleep.”

Reimu mulled the problem over.  She needed cash, but a locked apartment might not be so easy.  She wondered if Marisa still had her lockpicking kit from her B&E days - who was she kidding? Of course Marisa still had it, the girl never threw anything away.  Reimu checked her watch, and tried to remember when Marisa would be out of her classes; not until 5 pm at the latest, which left them plenty of time for a nighttime ritual and exorcism.

“Alright, if you can pay, I can remove this spirit for you,” Reimu said, shifting her tone of voice to her saleswoman pitch.  “Base fee is thirty thousand yen, with additional fees if the spirit is troublesome and takes longer, and a down payment of five thousand yen for materials.”

The man swallowed behind his mask.  “So, you can do it soon, then?” he said as he removed several bills from his wallet.

“Yes, we can do it tonight.  I’ll need my associate, who should be free tonight.” She accepted the five bills with a bow. “And besides, exorcisms are best performed when the spirit is active, so we’d have to wait regardless.”  She pocketed the cash, and directed the man into the shrine to get his address and take stock of her supplies.

While she may not have been as fearless as the other Reimu in her dreams, she was still an exterminator of spirits, and a keeper of Gensokyo’s balance.

Hijinks, chaos and hilarity ensue.” ^^ A prompt supplied by me and I’m smirking so wide because the fic Imp came up with delivered more awesomeness than I could have hoped for! 

A Star At His Side: “Accidentally Fall Asleep Together” for Endragoneel on tumblr. Natsu and Lucy spend the day together at a festival in Magnolia. Natsu ends up watching more than just the stars when the festival is over… 

Christmas Gifts: When Erza walks Wendy home from the Guild’s Christmas Party, Wendy realizes how alone her friend and mentor is feeling. She sets out to recruit Lucy, Natsu and the rest to break Jellal out of prison for just one night, as a Christmas gift for Erza. Meanwhile, Natsu has accidentally burned some of Lucy’s writing. Will she forgive him? 

Dark Shining Light: One of the best and most welcoming writers I have ever interacted with! I’m still gobsmacked she’s a friend! She’s a legend and I don’t know what else I could add to any discourse about her writing - but the classics are classic for a reason, yeah? Fallen Ark Angel: Admittedly I only have interacted from afar with this writer. I mainly read Nalu fics but I love her take on Mira and Laxus and her next gen offspring characters. She’s got a lot to offer and it’s all superb. @fallen029

Loving Satan: Loving Satan is never easy. But when she loves you back, its twice as bad. 

Madartiste: Another one-sided love affair with someone else’s writing. And her stories are all wonderful and prolly appear on hundreds of Fic Rec Lists - but here’s one of my Favs! @madartiste  

Hoarding: Getting interrupted gets old fast. 

UranoMetria: I added her to my stable of fav authors 05-03-2014. Wow. Eons ago and even if I’m not sure she’s still active in the fandom, I salute her. Kudos. 

The Goddess Gate: With six years of partnership, Natsu and Lucy are torn apart by a mysterious visit from a secret magic council. Lucy is kidnapped and her memories suppressed. She fights her way back home to regain her life - with a startling secret revealed as she begins to remember. The lives of all Earthland hang in the balance. **Okay, this is a wicked old fic - but amazingly written and fuelled my own desires for writing. Last updated in 2018 but who knows? Some current attention may slay any demons on her back in regards to writing - and even if not - the hours of enjoyment reading this is worth giving a comment just to say, ‘thank you for writing.‘ 

Wild Rhov: Do I even need to say anything about this author? Famous, famous, famous. Excellent. Writes a lot of pairings and fleshes every relationship into something REAL. I Can’t Even. @wildrhov  

Beastly Possession: Something is murdering people in Magnolia. When Lucy is attacked, Natsu goes on a rampage to find the culprit, and everyone in Fairy Tail wants revenge. But could this bloodthirsty attacker be someone they know? Warning: High octane nightmare fuel! Do not read while eating, and beware of red eyes in the dark! 

Shell1331: Introduced via Imp. This writer is in a few fandoms and is worth reading. @shell-senji  

Juicy: Impulsivity and poorly chosen words get Natsu into more trouble than he’d expected, which is saying something for him. 

AbsentAngel: Everyone should know this writer. Been stalking her since 2014 so that says something. Tho, it’s prolly just that I’m creepy. ;) My suggested fic here is being re-written/has been? into something original and worth being purchased when it becomes available and re-read over and over. No, I am not being paid to shill but I am open to having senpai notice me. @absent-angel  

To the Flame: She stares, transfixed, as the blood runs down his fingers and begins to pool in his palm. He holds his hand up to her lips in offering, and she tears her eyes away from the blood to study his face. He is smiling softly. “Go on Luce, I didn’t cut them for nothing.” [Vamp AU]

Ricardian Scholar Clark-Weasley: Not sure I spelled that right even after checking three times! I usually short hand that to RS-CW in my head. And she’s prolific - has a tonne of fandoms and is a tower of talent. Is anyone reading all my fangirl gushing? 'Cause she follows one of my fics and comments (sorry I haven’t updated that fic in a while) and it’s a source of happiness that someone who writes so well happens to enjoy some of my content. Blessing in Disguise

Blue Exorcist fanfic based on prompt 9. Bees, from the March Prompts posted by @creativepromptsforwriting (link to the prompt list here)

Blue Exorcist fic beneath the cut. Bon/Rin, crushes, mutual feelings, studying, picnic, au where Rin has an allergy.

Rin hummed to himself and swayed in the kitchen as he finished packing the lunches he made into a little wicker picnic basket. His tail flicked behind him lazily. The sunlight streamed in through the window, brightening the room. Rin took another glance over the lunch, pursing his lips.

"Sandwiches, juice boxes, veggies..." he frowned slightly. "Was there anything else?..." A tug on his pants had him looking down to a little purple demon with a red nose. Once the demon had his attention, he held up a little box to Rin. "Oh yeah! The dessert!" He grabbed the box of chocolates and placed it neatly in the basket. "Thanks, Ukobach!" The little demon nodded and gave an approving grunt. Rin closed the basket lid and fastened it. He glanced at the clock. "Crap! I have to go or I'll be late! See ya later, Ukobach!!!"

Rin raced out the door, grabbing his bookbag from the corner on his way out, his basket hung over the other arm.

The sky was a brilliant blue, with fluffy white clouds, the ones that look like cotton candy. Rin couldn't help but grin, the sunlight warming his skin. He remembered to tuck his tail under his clothes before he got to a more heavily populated area, and slowed his pace when he saw Bon leaning against the tree they agreed to meet at. Rin couldn't help but take a moment to stare, enjoying how this angle highlighted the sharpness of his jaw, and the way the sunlight glinted off his piercings. His forearms were showing, his sleeves rolled up halfway, and if Rin denied being weak at that then he would be a liar. Bon gave a sigh and ran a hand through his hair before turning toward Rin. He started slightly when their eyes met. Rin also jumped and felt his face heat up, but he ignored the sensation and rushed forward, forcing his grin to be even wider.

"Bon!" He greeted with a wave as he trotted over.

Bon nodded at him, adjusting his own satchel on his shoulder. "Let's get go - What's in the basket?" Rin glanced down at his wicker basket and then back up.

"Well, you said we were gonna be studying a while, so I brought us lunch!" he announced with a nervous laugh. Definitely not because I wanted to have a picnic with you, he thought to himself. Bon blinked.

"Oh. Uh. Thanks." He rubbed the back of his neck. "Uh, let's get going then." He turned around and started walking away, still on the school grounds, but to an area where hardly any other students passed through. Rin followed him, trying to ignore the pang in his heart at how unenthusiastic Ryuji was about the lunch he brought. He adjusted the basket and dropped his bag to the ground as he sat down next to Bon.

A low buzzing sound came from nearby, and Rin glanced up. His eyes caught sight of a bee's nest. He tensed, but Rin did his best to ignore it, hoping to impress Bon more by showing an interest in studying. Bon cracked open his book. "Ok, let's get started on the Fatal Verses we're supposed to memorize this week." Rin nodded and leaned closer, very aware of their position in relation to each other. He very consciously kept a couple inches of space between himself and the other boy.

The buzzing faded into the background more as Rin listened to Bon read. He focused on the power of Bon's voice, the tones he used on certain parts, the way his voice stayed at a constant volume. Rin's tail wiggled under his shirt and he nearly hummed in contentment, but caught himself at the last minute.

It wasn't long before both their stomachs were growling. Bon sighed, but Rin grinned and grabbed the picnic basket. "This is why I brought lunch," he announced. He started laying out the lunch for them. They both dug in.

Rin was so hungry, and so focused on how close he was to Bon, that he didn't realize the buzzing had grown louder and closer. It wasn't until he felt something land on his arm that he glanced down. He caught sight of the yellow and black stripes and yelped, jumping back. Bon's head shot up and he looked around wildly.

"What?! What's wrong?" he demanded. Rin scrambled away from the bee, which seemed to now be following him. Bon followed his terrified gaze, body tense as if ready to hit someone. But when he saw what Rin was backing away from, he frowned and paused. "Is that...a bee?"

Rin scrambled backward some more. "I...uh...I'm allergic to bees," he announced awkwardly. The bee bumbled its way closer and Rin leaned further back. Bon tilted his head.

"Hah? You're telling me that you, the literal spawn of Satan, are allergic to bees?"

"I'm also half-human!" Rin reminded him. "And I got the human half of the allergies!" Bon sighed and shook his head.

"Why didn't you say something sooner?" He picked up his books and packed them in the bag, and did the same with their half-eaten lunch. Bon stood and held out a hand for Rin. Rin glanced at the hand, and then the bee, which was slowly drawing closer, its cute fuzzy little body making him shudder in fear. He took Bon's hand and the other boy yanked him to his feet. "Come on. Let's go somewhere else." Rin nodded, grateful.

He stumbled after Ryuji for several minutes. "Um...B-Bon?"

"Hmm?"

"Uh...you can let go of my hand...you know," Rin mumbled, his cheeks completely red now. He cursed the bees for making him look dumb in front of his crush. Bon didn't pause, didn't look back at him, but Rin heard his next words as clearly as if he shouted them in his face.

"Maybe...I don't want to," Bon admitted quietly. Rin blinked. Oh. OH. OH.

Rin grinned to himself as he watched the tips of Bon's ears turn pink. "Well, if you don't want to, then that's ok." He squeezed Bon's hand slightly, and Bon squeezed his in return. And Rin thanked the bee that made his crush end up holding his hand.
