Hiii, loved to see that you a writing for arcane again. Tbh I just loved Isha and Jinx, so could could you make headcanons for how Jinx, Vi and Cait would be like taking care of or rising a kid with a girlfriend or s/o?

Sure I can! I don’t want he post to be huge though so I’ll break it up into three separate ones! Enjoy!

Family Bound

Raising or looking after a kid was not easy by any means, but taking care of one with Jinx was even harder

Jinx does not know how to be a paternal figure, or an older sibling kind of figure

She has really bad experiences with the only ones she’s ever known, so how was she supposed to fix that with some kid she’s not even related to?

But, for your sake, I feel like jinx loves you enough to try

If the kid was your sibling, I feel like she would be more reserved and distant from the child

In some way you and your little sibling remind her of herself and Vi when they were young and it’s not a good thing

She’s only able to take care of the kid once she separated those two things and finally able to bond with the kid

It takes a lot of time and patience from you for Jinx to be able to bond with the kid

If y’all found the kiddo, I feel like it would be easier for her to take care of it more than it being your sibling

When she does come around, Jinx can be very protective of the kid

She’s more the parent that doesn’t discipline and lets the kid get away with stuff, which causes some behavioral issues and arguments between you two cause that’s not really a good thing

So she has to learn from you how to take care of the child

She teaches the kid lots of things like how to invent gadgets, to make sure they work, how to protect yourself, and lots of other things like that

On more positive notes:

You’re the main bridge between the two so when they’re left alone together, they have no clue what to do or how to bond

But you do find little bits and pieces of a genuine bond forming between the two

You see the little smile Jinx wears when she finds genuine joy in taking care of them

She wonders how anyone could abandon their child or harm them when the one she takes care of with you is so beautifully innocent and childlike

In a way the kid heals the inner child and the Powder still inside of Jinx

She takes care of them in the way she wished Silco or Vi was

And she understands them in a way not even you can, especially if they show signs that Powder and Jinx did when she was young

She likes goofing off with the kid, and she likes playing around with them

You’ve found them roughhousing and giggling more times than you could count

and you’ve found them testing out bombs, which only happens when it’s in a safe place and a safe distance away

Jinx would never intentionally harm your guys’ child

She loves them so much that sometimes it’s scary to see how attached she has become

She doesn’t know what she would do if anything happened to you or the kid

She doesn’t ever wanna scare them, which has only happpened once

Jinx was having a freak out after everything has happened, probably after Vi was found to be an enforcer or after their fight

She was going through it, yelling, breaking things and crying and screaming

She didn’t notice how scared your guys’ child was until they started crying

Jinx felt her heart break, and even if she was ashamed of doing it, she ran out

She didn’t know how to handle the gaf she scare them so much

She was gone for a while and when she came back she was visibly distant

It took a lot of patience and reassurance for her to come back around the kid without being hesitant about every move

But the kid loved her, and when she saw your child was more sad about the fact she was gone, it broke her heart and almost healed it at the same time

She doesn’t know what she would do if they feared her badly

She loves coloring with the little girl or boy, and she likes helping them figure out outfits

She likes running around the lanes with them, or going to the old hideout

The two also love messing with Sevika as the woman has now joined your little mini family

Jinx and the kid often pass out together, both on the ground or wherever and limbs tangled and snoring with drool on the corners of their lips

Which means you have to carry both to bed a lot of the time

Jinx loves. Showing he kid to invent, and how to fight and everything

She loves seeing the sparkle in the kids eye when she shows them fireworks and anything Jinx

She and the kid have a bond you don’t know how to describe

She also doesn’t try to keep the fact of who she is and the things she’s done a secret from the child

Sometimes she can be harsh, but it’s from a space of love even if the kid gets hurt feelings

She always makes up for it though

Bird, I just need you to know, I think about these dudes daily. I think about them and their little cliche every single day and I think about modern Konoha would react to them and how they would react to modern Konoha and I think about them so much, it's probably not healthy. I don't have the words to explain how much I think about them, but it's so so much.

Specifically I think about how you drew Haruka, I can imagine her voice in my head so fucking clearly from just those two first shots of her. Deep and smooth, still womanly just way deeper than average, she kinda sounds like she's constantly on the verge of yawning, but she's actually only one step away from the most terrifying growl.

But also I love how you drew the twins and Ichigo holding up Sakumo like he's simba, which he basically is. It's just such a kid thing to do. You find out you're about to have a little cousin, and you're old enough that you know kids are a rarity in your family, so you're just like, "YOOOO! CHILD!!!!" Even if you don't 100% get it, you get it's a big deal and the only way you know how to deal with that is hold the kid high and tell everyone about how YOOOOO THERE IS A FREAKING CHILD YOOOOOO!!! And I love how mischievous the twins look. I wanted to make all the noises when Haru said, "Oh boy, exciting stuff," about Orochinatsu looking at ants while leaning on them with one arm. It's just so- I can tell they're interested but also they don't get it, they're faking getting it because it is interesting and they do wanna know more and they do care, but they don't GET IT get it. It's an older siblings trying to get it bc well, they got nothing better to do, but also they care, so they wanna hang out with you, and they wanna GET IT get it. Well, they do have better things to do, they have PLANS, but they care about Natsu and want them to know that they're not saying watching ants is stupid, (they think it's a lil stupid in that it's boring but they're not gonna say that bc they care and it's not them watching ants so they're not gonna ruin it for them for no good reason) Natsu is clearly enjoying themselves, just they have this idea and if you have the time maybe you wanna join-

Also, Tesuo's panel. I love his expression when inner him is going; "I'm finally free!!!~" in contrast to his outwardly uncaring facade. Just love his design in general. I love all your Hatake designs, I am so mentally ill about them, I love the Hatake, I'm obsessed with them, and I love your interpretation of them.

I love the Nara twins' designs and Hiname's design too- absolutely love the Hatake twins having decided to be here minions for the fuck of it. God, that is so in character and such a teenage thing to do. "Hey, let's just be this lil kid's slaves for the fun of it. I got nothing better to do, and I think she's funny, I wanna reinforce her bad habits. Also, I just wanna see what happens." 100% said by at least 59 teenagers every day. And Shiruka just being so done with the twins' shit, but also not leaving bc those are her besties (she never said this, and if you ever say she did, she is... not stabbing you, too much effort. She's putting in a bad word of you to her friends tho and they have all the energy in the world to socially destroy you). If they lived in the real world, they 100% met in college and became lifelong friends. Shiruka crashed on their couch for a while while between jobs, and Shiruka picked them up from bars more than once bc they were both too drunk to drive.

Also, I'd go on depth of my love of Orochinatsu and Hiname, but oof ouch my fingies are cramping, so just know I love them both just as much. Tho the twins + Shiruka are definitely my favorite, but I love all of them so much!

And I just- aaaaahhhhh! Too many feels, too few words. I love them all so much. I love the rivalry they got going on with other clan kids. I daydream about them going about their day and the Naruto cast doing a "watch the series/read the book they're from" trope type thing except they're watching their ancestors and also love them bc I cannot contain so much love in one person and I have to imagine hoards of people loving them as much as I do to function.

Big Sister | Daryl Dixon x Fem!Reader

Summary: With your second child on the way, you and Daryl are tasked with breaking the news to your daughter. Thankfully, your daughter was more than ecstatic at the prospect of a little sibling.

A/N: Requested by @banshees-martin. I literally have no good reason why it took me so long to write this request. I’m so sorry for the long wait! I hope this is somewhat okay to make up for it.

Parenthood in general was not always a walk in the park. Parenthood in the apocalypse especially definitely was no leisure stroll. Raising a child before the end of the world came with its own set of challenges, but the challenges only multiplied due to the harsh world you were now forced to live in.

However, despite everything, you never, not even once, regretted embarking on the beautiful journey that is motherhood. You never regretted starting a family with Daryl. And you certainly did not regret your daughter. She was your pride and joy. She was the reason why you felt confident enough to bring up wanting another child to your husband, and why you were currently carrying your second bundle of joy in your stomach.

However, you had yet to tell Hazel about becoming an older sister in the near future, trying to think of how to approach the subject. Thankfully, Hazel—ever the curious little girl that she is—noticed your little baby bump when she clambered onto your lap a few moments prior, and she was the one to bring it up.

“Mama, why’s your belly getting so big?”

You could not help but laugh at your daughter’s innocent question. Daryl, who was seated next to you on the couch, let out a small chuckle as well, his ocean-coloured irises locking with your eyes. Should we tell her? he asked you without even needing to speak. You could read the archer like the back of your hand. Many years together provided you with that ability, an ability that very few people could say they had regarding the usually unreadable Daryl Dixon.

You nodded at him and turned back to Hazel. “You sure you wanna know? This is big girl stuff,” you began in a teasing tone, your eyes widening slightly to dramatize the situation.

Hazel nodded eagerly and pushed herself to sit upright in your lap. “I’m a big girl!”

“I don’ know,” Daryl chipped in, copying the playfulness you used earlier. “She’s only three, after all. Seems like she’s still a lil’ girl.”

Hazel gasped and shook her head, as if deeply offended by what her dad had ‘accused’ her of being. “No, I’m a big girl!” She reached forward and cupped your cheeks in her small hands, urging you to look at her. “Tell Daddy, Mama. I’m a big girl.”

“She makes a pretty convincing argument, Dar,” you ‘reluctantly’ agreed, trying to contain your laughter at your daugher’s exasperated expression, one that practically screamed at you to tell her the big secret she so desperately wanted to be a part of.

Daryl scooted closer to you and wrapped his arm around you, a small, albeit nervous smile on his face. He did not know how Hazel would react to the news that she was going to have a little sibling, but despite whatever reaction she was going to give, there was no changing the outcome. There would be a second baby regardless of how she felt about it, although it would be a relief if she was as ecstatic over the baby as the two of you were.

You carefully transferred Hazel from your lap and onto Daryl’s. With the small weight now off of your—well, technically Daryl’s—shirt, your hands carefully began tugging the fabric up, revealing the small but noticable bump there. Hazel looked at it in wonder.

“You wanna know what’s in there?” When Hazel nodded, you continued. “Your baby brother or sister.”

“A baby sissy or bubby?” Hazel asked in surprise, her eyes widening as she looked up at you. “I’m a big sissy?”

You laughed lightly and nodded. “Yes, babygirl. You’re gonna be a big sister.”

“Like Jude is to RJ?” she asked again, this time turning to Daryl for an answer.

Daryl confirmed her question with a nod of his head. “Yes, Hazelnut. Just like Jude s’to RJ.”

Hazel giggled and leaned forward to touch your belly with her small hands. Daryl steadied her to ensure she did not fall, although he could not help but chuckle fondly at her eagerness to inspect your stomach in the hopes of finding out what fluttered beyond the skin of your slowly growing stomach.

Hazel frowned adorably after a few moments of running her little hands over your abdomen. “How does baby fit?”

You smiled at her question. However, before you could even attempt an explanation, Daryl cut in. “All the mommies that have babies are superheroes. When they have a baby, their bellies get the powers needed so that the baby can fit. They keep the babies safe in their bellies while the babies grow nice ‘n strong, and when they’re ready to come out, the mommies help ‘em.”

“Is that what happened with me?” Hazel asked in wonder, her eyes sparkling up at her dad.

Daryl nodded. “Exactly what happened with you. Your mama’s amazin’, huh?”

Hazel giggled. “Mama’s a superhero!” She turned back to you with a chubby, dimpled smile. “When can I see the baby?”

“Soon, Sweetheart. They still need to grow a bit bigger and stronger though, okay?”

“Can I talk to the baby?”

“Of course you can,” you replied, leaning back slightly so that Hazel could have better access to get closer to your baby bump.

Hazel hastily leaned forward and pressed her cheek against your bump, and instantly began talking away. “Hi little baby! I’m your big sissy! Mama said you still need to grow big and strong. I hope that’s soon. I can’t wait to meet you!”

Your heart practically melted at the little interaction between your first baby and your second one in your stomach. You just knew Hazel would be the best big sister ever. She had so much love in her tiny body and she loved sharing it with the world. She was an amazing little human being.

You looked up from your daughter and locked eyes with Daryl. The archer had a small, soft smile on his face, and you could not help the butterflies that erupted in your stomach when you noticed the look of pure, unadulterated love on his face. It was the moments like these that made all the challenges that came with parenting worthwhile. Amidst all the chaos in the world run by the undead, these small, precious moments with your family was what you lived for, and you would never stop fighting for it.

You got pulled from your thoughts by Hazel sitting back up. She turned to Daryl, and the question that left her mouth had you doubling over with laughter.

“Daddy, how’d the baby get in there?”

Daryl’s eyes widened at that. He looked towards you, then back at Hazel, before looking back at you again. His eyes were begging for you to intervene, but you shook your head as if to say “you’re on your own”.

Daryl cleared his throat. “Well, uh… Um, y’know how when you wanna plant somethin’, and ya gotta… Uh…” Daryl shook his head and stood up from the couch, picking Hazel up as well. “Y’know what I think? I think s’time we get you to bed. You’re gonna need all the rest ya can get before the baby gets here. They’re gon’ wanna play with their big sissy all the time.”

That seemed to do the trick. Hazel nodded and rested her head on Daryl’s shoulder, thankfully dropping the uncomfortable subject. You sent him a mischievous smile, and he simply rolled his eyes, before beckoning you over.

“C’mon, Mama. S’time for a bedtime story.”

Smiling to yourself, you got up from the couch, adjusted your shirt, and followed your husband up the stairs. In that moment, you felt like the luckiest person alive, and it was all because of your little family.

went by completely undetected because his symptoms presented in “acceptable” ways or were just not recognized by his parents/guardians as neurodivergent

needs routine and does not handle sudden changes to his routines well. if something unexpected happens he’ll freak (internally)

on that note, internalizes everythinggggg. not in the “turn it off” way – in the way that he will feel things but just will not express it outwardly if he can help it.

related, he is very much in a state of constant masking. he does not know how to unmask. he also does not know why he feels so stressed/anxious all the time (surely unrelated /s)

NEEDS his alone time to relax or he’ll lose it (but being the oldest of several siblings definitely trained him in Not having that)

he is SO worried about how he’s perceived, and part of why he’s uncomfortable around arnold is because arnold is everything kevin doesn’t want to be seen as. he’s also envious of arnold; the way he’s able to causally be himself and be silly and goofy, make mistakes and then make amends, while kevin has kept all of that tucked away, out of sight.

was generally neutral about religion as a kid until his parents pulled the “well if you’re a good mormon then you’ll be rewarded and be able to go back to orlando :)” and then he Locked In.

orlando is obviously a fixation of his, despite how idealized it is as a concept in his head. definitely read about its history as a city and such via absorbing entire wikipedia pages, but he's most interested in the theme parks and tourist aspects, since that's what he was around when he visited. read everything he could about the development and history of the tourist industry and its major players. he's most interested in & familiar with disney world, since that's what left the biggest impact on him as a kid.

he flip-flops between being physically affectionate vs. touch-averse (based on mood & level of overstimulation). i think he’s naturally kind of touch-averse but has gotten used to dealing with it via lots of friendly people handshakes and pats on the back, siblings touching him constantly, older relatives and close acquaintances wanting hugs every time they see him, etc etc. i think mostly he doesn’t like being touched when it’s unexpected/he’s not mentally prepared for it to happen, or he's already on-edge. (for example, while sometimes put off by arnold randomly hugging him, he usually just lets it happen or doesn’t react. but in act 2 when he’s agitated and upset, he tells arnold not to touch him.)

on the other hand, sometimes he likes contact and comfort. it’s on his own terms when he initiates it <3 having something physical to grab/hold onto when upset or under duress is comforting and grounding. he likes the pressure of being hugged. when it’s people he’s very close to (like arnold post-play or (Sometimes) his parents), he’s fine and open to hugs and physical contact :) he’s just so used to it being obligatory and disingenuous (or purposefully to annoy him like with his siblings).

i think he also has just noticed that most people tend to respond positively when there is friendly contact involved (hand on the shoulder/arm, etc) and utilizes that. despite his social cues/norms studying, he sometimes doesn't know when to Not utilize this technique (like with an authority figure or someone you're not close to who might find it rude or offputting).

mostly subtle or socially-accepted stims, part of the "constantly masking and needing to seem normal and perfect" thing. tapping and fidgeting with things, bouncing leg, etc., keeping excess movement mostly to his hands. but he still has some things he does unconsciously, like shaking his hands/arms, repeatedly shifting his weight, and various tactile stims like thumping his chest or leg.

the wigglerrrrr. "disguises" stims by doing a little dance. hes a musical guy he likes performing so this is normal for him this is just one of his little quirks (<- copium. i mean it's true but he's still stimming and will do a little jig when he feels like he Needs to move his body around)

also hums a lot (more of a self-soothing thing).

can usually pick up on jokes/tone but sometimes takes things too literally

lowish empathy and has a hard time relating to others. definitely contributes to the "everything is about me?" mentality

while he’s well-liked in mormon spaces, has a harder time in public school and with people outside his church. like aside from having the Mormon Demeanor™ he just comes across as like. Weird. not in a way people can put their finger on, though, because for the most part he’s “normal.” he’s self-absorbed, yeah, but nice and doesn’t cause trouble. i think he’s stubborn and has a very hard time when things don’t “go his way,” or rather, how he expected them to. he’s very particular about things. he asks a lot of questions in class about small details and wants lots of clear directions on assignments. he comes across as “fake” to some people because of his masking and crazy politeness.

he wears the same exact clothes every day like a cartoon character. since they don’t have a uniform they’re his “school clothes” that he only wears at school. something like, idk, blue jeans and a white shirt. something simple and comfortable. one year during a spirit week event or halloween, everyone in his theater class dressed up as him in the same outfit. kevin didn’t even realize at first.

he’s the straightman among his friends because he’s easy to throw jokes at that takes him a moment to process, or takes too literally, or because they want to see Good Boy Kevin’s reaction to something less appropriate. he usually takes it in stride, though, and is a bit of a jokester himself

completely oblivious when other people have feelings for him. he’s so focused on other shit that it’s not on his radar at all. girls have confessed to him and he’s like oh. Huh? (this is definitely also leaning into my aspec headcanons for him so i’ll leave it be for now…)

Warning for mention of attempted suicide and bullying !!

Yuuki had no friends in her old school. There, they would be either ignored or harassed by their classmates due to their odd interests, leading to Yuuki becoming shy and reserved. It didn't help that Yuuki couldn't find comfort in her family, either, as their mother would excuse Yuuki's bullying to just be “their way of thinking” and tell them to ignore them, their siblings would call Yuuki “weird” and even “crazy” due to their liking of knives and horror media, and their dad was almost never home, always working long shifts.

All of this stress over years upon years finally pushed Yuuki over the edge, and on one cold, December night, Yuuki attempted to end their life. After stealing a knife from the kitchen, Yuuki made their way to the middle of the woods, not wanting anyone to see them as they took their life. As they stabbed themselves in the stomach, a black carriage sped towards them, and Yuuki fell unconscious.

The next thing they knew, they fell out of a coffin, feeling strangely fine. No stab wound or anything. Yuuki quickly fled the room, panicking about where they were. And as they fled the building, they looked up at the campus before them.

“Where the hell am I?!?”

◇ Relationships ◇

Grim & Ramshackle Ghosts: Yuuki and the residents of Ramshackle's relationship are very similar to how it is in twst canon, though Yuuki is still a bit frightened by the ghosts. Grim often has to rope Yuuki in with him when he wants to do something, as Yuuki is extremely cautious about almost everything.

Hana: As (technically) vice housewarden of Ramshackle, Yuuki respects Hana and treats her well. Yuuki sees Hana as somewhat of a mother figure, as Hana is older and wiser than them and tends to keep Grim and Yumei out of trouble.

Yumei: Yuuki doesn't like Yumei that much, as she's very outgoing and bubbly. Though Yumei tries to get along with Yuuki, sometimes they just don't click. However, Yuuki still appreciates Yumei and sees her as a sister.

Ace & Deuce: Yuuki appreciates Ace and Deuce due to them being able to push Yuuki out of their comfort zone and being their first friends. Though, Yuuki sometimes feels like a third wheel, always taking a backseat while Ace and Deuce bicker.

Idia: Being the one who supplies and plays video games with Yuuki, Idia is one of Yuuki's best friends. They always get along, even having sleepovers sometimes specifically to play video games. Yuuki feels seen when talking to Idia, as they were mocked for liking video games and anime.

Vil: As one of the people to help him overcome his overblot, Yuuki is quite dear to Vil. Even though they don't have much in common, the two still talk and hang out sometimes. Yuuki still feels somewhat strange about Vil being friends with them since he's such a popular figure, but Vill assures Yuuki that they can still be friends no matter how popular he is. While Yuuki only sees a friendship, Vil seems to want something more. Though Vil acts casual around Yuuki, he still has a tiny crush on them.

Ive been seeing a lot of that 'Billy abused Max and then El' bullshit floating around and decided to write a little something. (This also happened to coincide with me seeing a bunch of TikToks with the 'POV you have an older brother' tagline which I thought were both hilarious and fitting)

El didn't have a brother, or any siblings for that matter. Sometimes she thought of her friends like siblings, but she knew it wasn't the same.

When she brought it up to Max one day the other girl had just huffed and replied with, "you can have mine if you want", but there was something to the roll of her eyes that told El that Max wouldn't really be willing to part with Billy.

The fact that she had started referring to Billy as her brother was a relatively new development. One that coincided with Neil Hargrove leaving.

A few days later El got to experience what it might be like to have an older brother, specifically one like Billy.

She was on Max's room, laying on her stomach at the foot of her bed, flipping through a magazine when the front door opened. She recognised the voices of the two boys instantly and glanced up to where Max was sat. "Are Billy and Steve also having a sleepover."

Max rolled her eyes again and shrugged. "I hope not, they're so loud."

"Gimme a sec, pretty boy. Just gotta check on the shitbird," Billy shouted as though he wanted to prove Max's point for her.

The bedroom door opened to reveal Billy, who stood in the doorway for an almost uncomfortable amount of time, just staring at Max. Max stared back at him, a matching blank expression on her face. More lost sibling au content~ and of the event boys! Love all of this!

In all honesty, I love the whole idea of Yuu and Gidel being non-identical twins and Fellow immediately taking them under his wing after things are revealed. And Yuu as a tuxedo cat Beastman is such an adorable image, would their ear and tail come out due to the Overblots like previous ideas or did Playful Land magic make the reveal occur?

Perhaps Yuu’s Playful Land attire resembles Jiminy Cricket, since they often serve as a conscious not only to Grim, but the older NRC boys as they now have a little pseudo sibling who looks up to them and forces them to behave better. And also how, like Jiminy, Yuu initially didn’t have the most stable position upon their arrival and is told by Crowley to be responsible for Grim and make up for his lack of knowledge in the human world. With Grim eventually giving them a “Everybody Wants to Be a Cat” kind of lessons in the future!

Gidel maybe felt a kinship with Yuu from the start, whether or not their Beastman features were present, due to their ages and fact both lack magic. Although he may have been a bit jealous that they’re still apparently a student at NRC, although that evaporates learning the truth of their circumstances and their newfound discovery.

Fellow, upon realizing one of the students he’s been tormenting for the past couple hours is Gidel’s sibling: Is anyone going to argue if I adopt-

Just imagine the shenanigans of Yuu deciding to let them stay at Ramshackle rather than run off at the end of the arc and bullying Crowley into letting them attend so they can get proper educations! And by bully, Yuu does the kitty eyes a la Puss in Boots and also threatening to reveal the fact he allowed a pre-teen to handle multiple Overblots (uncertain of Gidel’s exact age, but he’s definitely younger than most of the NRC boys).

Also Fellow’s already poor opinion of Crowley worsens hearing that, and he’s trying to act as a positive role model/elder brother as possible to Yuu now. Gidel is readying to swing his hammer, before Fellow grabs it and whispers “Not Yet.”

It might feel odd to Fellow initially, having to get remedial lessons from his newly found younger sibling, but Yuu has been helping Grim catch up too and it’s all a great way for the newfound family to bond. And since Fellow is mentioned to be good at math, he probably takes over managing the Ramshackle budget and is horrified at how little Yuu was given as an allowance.

And poor Skully, all of the sorrows for him not only loosing his supportive twin ages ago, but not having the strength in order to reconnect with their reincarnation. But after the event with his portrait restored in Ramshackle, he can finally talk with them and help guide them in the future!

Now for playful land I was thinking Fellow/Ernesto at first.... But I actually think I like the idea of Yuu in that AU being Gidel/Gino's twin. Just cute little kid who becomes psudo adopted by the older NRC boys. Yuu who's actually pretty bright and loves to learn. I even like the idea that if Gidel is twisted from Gideon, then Yuu is twisted from Figaro. The two look different enough that people don't peg them as siblings right away(Yuu has black hair and yellow eyes like Figaro. Also a nod to the fact a litter of kittens can have multiple fathers and coat patterns)

once it's figured out. Of course Fellow and Gidel have to come to NRC and Ramshackle! What kind of big brother would Fellow be if he didn't keep an eye out on his new sibling? Why so shocked? And Gidel and Yuu are just happy to have somebody their own age and they're siblings too! Yuu happily speaks up for Gidel and is absolutely "He asked for no pickles" with Gidel nodding his head along. Yuu actually even tries to help Fellow and Gidel with learning to read, write, math... Etc....

Nightmare before Christmas event. Skully's twin. Now Skully's human and he died centuries ago before the start. Well, what if Yuu died and reincarnated? Separated all those centuries ago. What if the two actually got to grow up together. Yuu being one of the few people who genuinely understood Skully. Even if he didn't have friends at NRC, his twin Yuu was his biggest support.

and then Yuu passed away while they were teens when both were attending NRC. Maybe Yuu died before Skully did and his soul lingered around ramshackle because he wants one chance to see his twin again. A reincarnated Yuu arriving and Skully not having enough energy to show himself but he follows Yuu around because he just feels a connection with them so he always worries about them. Oh how he wished he could have given those other ghosts a thrashing when they kicked Yuu out of Ramshackle during the ghost marriage event!

Then they all get sucked into the book, including ghost Skully. Skully, who hasn't been solid for centuries can finally touch people again. Skully who can't help but cradle Yuu gently while they're asleep. He's always wanted to be able to talk to them. When Yuu awakens they're not really bothered by Skully. In fact, he feels kind of familiar but they can't place from where.

Afterwards once everybody is free from the book, the truth of Skully is revealed and Yuu asks for the portrait. Saying how they think it should be in Ramshackle. Wasn't that Skully's dorm after all?(I say yes in this AU)

Skully's spirit who lingers, back to watching over Yuu but slowly growing stronger and hopefully can even become corporeal enough to interact directly. If not, He'll just have to talk to them again once Halloween comes around again. They have centuries of catching to do.

It was horrid being in that clan. Having all your things stolen and taken from you all the time. Food, water, shelter, toys, even your own life. even if it wasn't necessary it would be taken in a heartbeat if you weren't strong enough. when the clan invaded, aryas home was stolen and destroyed, her grandmother and father perished leaving arya and her mother to be next. The head of the clan wanted her mom giving her the choice of killing arya and taking her or taking the both of them if she was willing to follow them which is what she chose.

Soon the head married aryas mother and made her bare Child after child after child all dying of hunger or neglect. Arya tried her damndest to feed them to help them but she was just as helpless. As arya grew older she stopped growing and her siblings just kept dying. the second of starvation, the third of sickness, the fourth killed, the fith and sixth starvation, and I couldn't even see the birth of the seventh when they ousted her from the clan.

Aryas mom was too weak and heavily pregnant to fight for her. She was beaten and left behind to die but somehow it felt numb to her. She was able to walk but her throat couldn't make sound, she was still alive so she started to learn how to survive in the wild. Knowing her mom was still in there in that clan, suffering, she could not just leave her behind so she followed the clan from a distance. It was hard to live, it was hard to learn how to survive in the wild in darkwood, in anura, in anchordeep, and especially in silkcradle. But in time she learned how to heal myself, how to harvest, how to use traps to my advantage and most importantly how to fight and hide, learning to burn her own arms in order to keep the growing wool to a minimum.

And as the years went by the body's left by the clan kept coming, and she knew some of them were her brothers and sisters. The eight of starvation, the ninth of sickness, the tenth murder, the eleventh and twelfth of starvation, it was happening all over again but this time arya couldn't even sing them to sleep.

And finally the body that produced all her siblings came. Her nightmare came to be. Her poor mother being to weak to birth the thirteenth was dying and was left behind. She was relieved To see me for the last time and told arya of her last wish. “Eat me. Gain strength to survive. You must survive. And if you can, you must avenge me. For what they did to you, to all your brothers and sisters and for what they did to their own kind. Eat me”

So she did. She ate her alive and continued when she died. She did not eat her womb. Arya buried it just like the other siblings I had when they all died. This was a nightmare, and the only way to wake up from it was to kill it. To kill them all.

After watching the Penguin, I just think about the tragedy that is Alberto Falcone

*Please be caught up with episodes 1-5 before reading so you don't get spoiled* Not really an analysis, just some of my thoughts about him.

To clarify, the intention of my post isn't to woobify Alberto Falcone. I just think the role he plays in the story of the Penguin and his dynamic with Sofia and his father is interesting.

There is something about his role in the story of Penguin that kind of haunts the narrative. The first and last time we see him alive, he has just finally taken over as the head of the Falcone empire. He's nervous, he's scared that he won't live up to his father's legacy, and he's got a lot of pressure on him. He's a former addict and alcoholic and he was only in charge of the Falcone's for 8 days before Oz shot him to death.

And it makes me think, what if that didn't happen?

What if he came away from that incident and got to meet Sofia, what if he was able to get that drug operation going with her? Would he have stepped down and given Sofia what was originally supposed to be hers after he realizes he's not cut out for it? Would he still be in charge but value Sofia's word over the other words of the Falcone family because he saw first-hand how they all sold her out? Or would the power have gotten to him and would he have gotten cocky?

Another thing too is that, as each episode is released, we get more glimpses into their life and more information about when they were kids. Alberto and Sofia were packed up and ready to leave with their mother "for vacation" until Sofia finds their mother dead. As they got older, Alberto obviously has to deal with Carmine and constantly getting compared to Sofia. But he doesn't hate her. He cares for her, deeply, and he knows that she's not to blame for the way Carmine treats him and doesn't really display that much jealousy or envy.

We don't see him outright call out the family for selling out Sofia but it can be implied that he made efforts by the way he defeatedly told her that she isn't getting that trial and was so desperate for her to not turn away from him, as if he didn't want to feel like he had failed her (I might be reading too much into it though). Not to mention that he could only do so much considering the entire family siding with Carmine but also, if Carmine was willing to put Sofia through all of that torture despite seeing her as a future heir to family, imagine what he would've done to Alberto.

From the first episode, we know that Alberto's death is what starts the events of the Penguin and we watch as it eventually leads to the death of the entire Falcone family by Sofia's hands. Because the only real family that she had that she could trust was Alberto himself. Which makes her discovering his mutilated body so much more tragic.

AND ALSO, I'M SUCH A SUCKER FOR DOOMED SIBLINGS CONTENT. SO THAT'S WHY I CONSTANTLY THINK ABOUT WHAT WOULD'VE HAPPEN IF SOFIA STILL HAD ALBERTO. Would they have killed the Falcones together? Would they have killed Oz a lot earlier on? What things would've been changed dramatically if Sofia still had the one man she trusted in her life.

The Naruto timeline is killing me. I know the general idea is that it’s been ~60 years since Konoha formed but everyone’s talking like Konoha has existed for forever.

It doesn't make sense! Tsunade is in her 50s in canon! she shouldn't talk about Konoha like it was well established when she was a child! By saying Tsunade is Hashirama's granddaughter instead of his daughter, we must interpret that Hashirama had a child like. a decade before Konoha formed, so that when Konoha is 10, Tsunade is born. But that's BATSHIT. that means anyone older than sixty– an age even front line shinobi can reach as evidenced by Hiruzen, and surely an age shinobi that specialize in skills that are less directly combative/take them out of the village often, MUCH LESS CIVILIANS!! You cannot make propaganda good enough to make an entire generation of senior citizens forget that your honorable village hasn't even hit a century.

There is such a big deal made of Hiruzen remembering a time before Konoha and so you expect him to be like. late 80s or 90s. old enough to makes him recalling that time suitably rare. old enough that every shinobi is like. wow. you're hot shit and also God Of Shinobi. But he's SIXTY EIGHT. Sakura's civilian grandparents probably remember a time before Konoha. This is not that big of a accomplishment. I don't care if Kishimoto thinks 60 years is a long ass time to a shinobi. It just doesn't work for the sort of worldbuilding he's trying to sell.

My only options are to either stretch the timeline to fit the vibes of "Konoha has been around soooooo long (while still be relatively new in the grand scheme of things)" or scrap all that "Konoha is ancient" shit.

......So. I’ve stretched it to Konoha being formed 100 years ago when canon starts (the year Naruto graduates the Academy). This is more reasonable, making it so that no one alive really Remembers A Time Before, making Konoha's propaganda much more effective.

This, however, has had some significant impact on Hiruzen's generation because even though I have made them significantly older when canon starts (like. mid 80s) they were still born about ~20 years after Konoha was founded. Early enough that some instability was around and Hiruzen's generation could personally know Hashirama and Tobirama, but they don't actually have any experience living through the Warring Clans Era. This has likewise made the Sannin much much older– around the same age as Hiruzen actually is in canon.

But Tsunade's age actually makes sense for her being Hashirama's granddaughter now! So there's that!

Damian, still fresh to the family, but actually starting to warm up to the idea of them actually being his family, looks up online 'how to be a good little brother.'

He finds all sorts of things like, "using cuteness to get what you want from your elder siblings" (lame, no way that works) "fake extra tears when they punch you so your parents buy you icecream and whatever else you want" (why on EARTH would he want anyone think he could be so weak?) etc, but he also sees stuff about Pranks, sibling fights (in the sense of "you know they're real siblings because they'll throw hands one minute, then 5 minutes later be laughing watching tv together like nothing happened"), and concepts like Sibling Code (like, absolute secrecy between siblings toward their parents, threatening potential heartbreakers, etc).

Cue him pulling pranks, like leaving lego everywhere and waiting for his shoeless family to step on them, hiding things that the others need (like, right now), sneaking things into the batcave that shouldn't be in the batcave, throwing himself at his siblings to brawl without any reason and then promptly stopping also with no reason (and wondering why they won't spend time with him to bond afterward), planning out how to threaten a literal magic space princess (Kori, who would probably find it very cute if he actually made it that far), hiding Literally Very Important information about his siblings from Bruce and Alfred because he's not a snitch, and he is a great little brother. (he's going to get an A in Little Brother which is something totally normal to want and achieve)

He eventually gets BIG scolded for his constant misbehaviour, though. Bruce and Dick are asking why he's going off the rails so much when he doesn't even seem particularly angry anymore - in fact, sometimes he even seems fairly content! Is there an issue they're unaware of? Something he's not expressing to the family? They're not mad if there's a problem, they just want to help!

So, of course, he then has to embarrassingly explain that he was just following little brother protocol, according to.. the internet. He gets bullied about it for weeks by his elders (to different degrees), since the internet is not going to help anyone be a better sibling, but they also each try to explain (in their own ways) (their own waynes) why he was so, so very wrong about the way he approached being a good sibling, so he can hopefully improve at it (and stop terrorising the household).

(I saw a meme post about Damian putting legos all over the floor + hiding Tim's shoes to harm him and it made me think of the concept)

(Also once he learns that acting extra cute really can get him what he wants, he tries to use it now and then to his advantage, but is hilariously bad at doing it, since he doesn't really have a grasp on what makes a younger sibling cute (which is.... literally just existing,, according to me, a middle child). Lucky for him the others eat up every attempt because it's so obvious what he's doing that it becomes cute to them, so he doesn't need to get real practice with it until he tries to use it on a non-bat who laughs at him for far too long about it and thusly brews fire in him to go back to the pranks he tried at the start of the little brother training montage and show them real sibling pain for making a fool of him.)
