I've had some thoughts on what elements(not really ATLA) fit Ezio, Altaïr, Desmond, Basim and Ratonhnhaké:ton(just a curiousity thing). And i think Fire fits Ezio alot. It burns fiercly and destroys things in it's path, but the aftermath leaves nurishing, lifebringing ash. It burns down forests, leaving it clear for new growth.

For Desmond it's definetly Water. He bends around the rock in the river, but also violently crushes into obstacles. If we include ice into water(which i often do, it just makes sense imo), it also fits with a slow, but guaranteed death. It can also cut and freezeburn anyone who touches it, who doesn't know it's dangers.

Altaïr is a bit trickier. He also fits Fire, but i also like the idea of him being Lightning. Violent, quick destruction, easily seen and recognised, often turning on it's wielder if improperly handled. But with the right amount, it leads to incredible technology, life altering in it's wonders.

Ratonhnhaké:ton i think is Earth or Wind. Earth is steady, lifegiving, solid. But it can also be devastating in it's power, shaking the very foundation of cities, tearing everything apart. Wind is similiar. Gentle, cooling breeze on a summers day or a warm wind in autumn, but it can also bring devestation. Storms, hurricanes and tornadoes. Tearing things apart, leaving destruction in it's wake, terrifyingly unstoppable.

Basim i think fits with Wind. He is very stubborn and willful in Mirage, like an incoming storm. And with the hallucinations, nightmares and the memories of Loki, he can probably go from a mild breeze to a hurricane in an instant, unstable in it's strength.

Idk about the others protaganists, i still haven't played most of the games(procrastenation is a bitch XD), but feel free to suggest your own ideas of other elements that could fit and how the elements can fit the other characters. ^^

So, before we get to the others, I feel like we should only focus on 5 main elements: Water, Fire, Earth, Wind and Lightning since that’s the elements you suggested.

I agree with their elements and I kinda like the idea of Ratonhnhaké:ton being Wind more than Earth because I want to suggest that we mess with Edward.

He gets the Earth element. Of course, the Water element is right there and it would certainly make sense for him to have a Water element as well but just imagine how funny it would be for Edward to have Earth element and he’s still a pirate. He’s gonna have to be creative and maybe bring a pouch of dirt with him. Or Jackdaw’s captain quarters have a minigarden. Edward having Earth element could work. Earth and plants in general can be stubborn sons of bitches that won’t die even when they’re out of their natural habitat (take dandelion growing on concrete for example). But Earth is also adaptable and steadfast.

I would also like to add, Basim is also like a fog (which is Wind adjacent) because of the secrets he hides in the ‘illusion’ called Basim (as someone who don’t even know it or as Loki who actively uses that facade)

Now, for the other protagonists:

Bayek would be Fire. He brings warmth and safety to those he loves and suffering and death to those against him. The rage and desire for vengeance burns inside him but, at the same time, it is that warmth that helped him move on and create a path forward.

Shay would be Lightning as well, his name as an Assassin hunter similar to the thunderous roar that warns those of his presence but not of where he would strike.

Arno is Wind. At the start, he is carefree summer breeze, just fleeting around and enjoying the life he has. Later on, he becomes a mist, present but not the center of attention, satisfied of being of service to the woman he loves. After her death, he becomes a brewing storm that could just as easily be destructive to himself and others.

Evie and Jacob. Now, these two… they would be Earth but of ‘different kinds’. Jacob would be more of a plant-based Earth elemental wielder, a symbol of his desire to make his own path, away from their father’s legacy. Evie, on the other hand, is more of a stone-based Earth elemental wielder, signifying the fortitude of her loyalty to their father’s legacy. Both of them are Earth because they both hold their grounds on the belief they have.

Kassandra is Fire, mainly because a lot of her abilities in the game had a fiery effect. Her destructive capabilities coincide with the destructive force of flames devouring everything it touches but it’s also those powers that could provide saftey and warmth to the people she loves.

Biggest 'scandal' of the new world lol

Law starts dating Luffy. He is a romantic and all proper about it. He wants to do a meet the parents/guardians. Well, he wants to introduce Luffy to Cora, his parents not being alive, Cora is the next best thing. It is complicated, and he hasnt quite defined the exact familial relationship he has with Cora. They just got reunited.

Still he asks the man, and Cora ofc tears up 'my bby boi grows up so fast'

Law almost 30 is just like 😑

Then he goes to Luffy, who is like, "Uh... Shanks? He's like cool" Followed by a shrug. "Dadan raised me though, and like Makino, plus old man Garp and Sabo's dad, I guess." He just lists of everyone he can think of.

Law not realizing just how big Luffy's family is, considering he never talks about it.

They start with Shanks. Law tracks him down and goes on his ship to ask for a blessing to date Luffy, which Luffy thinks is silly but he gets to see Shanks!

Plus there is a party, which leads to the 'scandal' part of this xd

Cora is there ofcourse, he is part of the heart pirates and doesnt go far from those kids, they are his family xd

Cora wondering over to where Shanks is getting drunk with Beckman. They start talking, trading stories about their respective kid, laughing and getting more wasted.

Shanks who very much likes blondes and to have some fun, Cora who is a little rusty but the alcohol makes him want to unwind and they get closer as the night drags on, followed by going to Shanks' quarters.

Which is how Law and Luffy finds them, they were looking for Cora and Shanks, as they were planning on leaving.

Law being a stuttering mess, blushing as if he cant believe. Luffy laughs as if it the funniest thing that their guardians ended up in bed together.

Something he and Law havnt done yet, because Law insisted on this little tour, and Luffy is always up for an adventure.

Cora is a blushing mess, scrambling to get his shirt on, trips, and falls. Shanks hung over, and half awake is no help, as he tries to get up and help Cora, only to fall on top of him, getting a flirty look

Law wanting nothing to do with any of that drags Luffy out of the room, regretting he ever had this idea in the first place, and the fact that it led to Cora and Shanks hooking up xd

He warms to the idea when he sees how happy Cora is talking on a snail with Shanks after that, and every time, they meet up for random dates xd.

Luffy suggest a double date would be fun. Law mortified at the idea of seeing them making out immediately goes nope, and nope. Distracting Luffy with something xd.

They still end up having the double date, and its actually fun for all of them, even if a bit awkward xd

have you ever heard about PS!Outertale? its a pretty cool undertale fangame not gonna lie

Yup! I have heard of it and I have played it too!! I think it's really cool!! I was looking for fangames and played a bit of the web version of the game, but then got the actual thing when it came out and played it fully.

I've heard there's like....200+ endings? Which is CRAZY!!! I only got like ....3? And I want to keep playing it, when I get the time, there's still some things I need to figure out...

Overall tho, I think it's a really good game!! There were some things that I didn't PARTICULARLY like, but the new lore, the music, the neutral and pacifist endings/boss fights??? Also Geno route goes hard. There are some really cool things here, also I just like Outertale in general. It's just Undertale in space!! Perfect.

Took the advice of various tumblr posts to sit down and make something instead of moping around about a certain impending fall of democracy, lol

This is going to be a print for one of the lolita dress designs I'm working on, called Deep Sea Stars. The standard colorway will be burgundy, but I liked the navy I picked out a lot, so that's the one I'm posting up for now. The dress design itself isn't ready for sharing, though, as it hasn't progressed past the sketch stages, and I have a weird issue around sharing my sketches for some reason. <:,)

Under the read-more are the jellyfish species I took inspiration from.

First is crossota millsae, which looks like a cute little alien spaceship to me, and:

Next is botrynema brucei (sometimes called the lampshade jellyfish), which I first came across on pinterest without any identifiers, and thus initially thought was a juvenile of another species until I poked around a bit more. So I also technically took inspiration from:

Halitrephes maasi, otherwise known as the firework jellyfish! I love these guys, they're so pretty~ I have another dress design that's entirely inspired by them, but neither the print nor the design itself are ready to be shared yet.

Anyway, off to go work on more jellyfish prints~

Story: Captain America (Winter Soldier!Steve AU) Prompts: Confession — Crying hug — Picnic

It wasn't much of a picnic. Just a cup of coffee and a bagel from the cafe on the corner, most of which had ended up in the water for the ducks to eat anyway. But Bucky lingered on the cold grass long after his breakfast was finished, leaning up against an obliging weeping willow that half-hid him from the world with its long, trailing branches.

Sam would have come too, if he'd asked. He would have filled the air with dumb jokes, and probably made up a whole picnic basket for them if Bucky had let him.

But Bucky had a feeling his stomach would still feel hollowed out and empty, even full of Sam's good homemade food. And Sam's quips and banter would have fallen on deaf ears, so much noise jangling at the edge of his consciousness.

Bucky thought about getting to his feet and going back to Sam's house, where he'd semi-permanently crashed since his own apartment was in shambles after....

His left arm ached. The bullet wound had healed ages ago, the sling discarded earlier than Sam had wanted, and all that was left was the scar.

Steve didn't scar like he did. That was something they'd both discovered, in those early days after the serum when Steve had led the Howling Commandos. His body regenerated faster than scar tissue could form, or something like that. Bucky didn't remember the explanation the doctors had come up with.

That was one reason they hadn't realized the stuff Hydra had given Bucky had slowly begun to change him too. His wounds healed faster and more effectively than normal, but it still took longer than Steve, and the worst injuries still left scars.

Maybe it was because he was stuck in his head, mulling over old memories and new regrets, but it took Bucky several seconds to realize Steve stood there, right outside the dome of the willow tree. Bucky caught his breath, afraid to move, afraid to say anything.

Slowly, Steve pushed aside the branches and stood before Bucky. He looked horrible, now dressed in a ratty hoodie and muddy jeans rather than the gear Hydra had fitted him out with. He also wore a faded ball cap, like that was any kind of disguise for Steve Freaking Rogers.

Steve wasn't looking at him, just staring at his feet. Huge shadows ringed his sunken eyes, and several days' worth of stubble covered his chin. He looked like he hadn't slept since the day they'd brought the helicarriers down.

You aren't dead? Bucky wanted to say. Or maybe something similarly stupid like Does your arm still hurt?

Before Bucky could figure out what to do or say, Steve pulled his hands out of the pocket in the front of his sweatshirt. Bucky tensed for a moment, but Steve's hands were empty. He pressed his wrists together in front of him, holding them out towards Bucky, and then sank to his knees.

They sat frozen like that for a moment. Bucky felt like if he moved, Steve would zip away like a startled bird.

Finally, Steve muttered in a hoarse growl, “Restrain me.”

“What?” Bucky whispered. “I'm not....”

“I'm surrendering to you,” Steve muttered, still not looking up at him. “Arrest me. Lock me up. Kill me. Do what you have to do.”

That voice...it wasn't the cold, flat, ruthless tone of the Winter Soldier. It was.... “Steve?”

He flinched at that, his arms slowly lowering to his sides. “I...I remember.” His voice was nothing but a tiny whisper, but those words echoed in Bucky's ears like it was the only sound in the world. “I...remember you.”

Bucky tried to say something, but it turned into nothing but a strangled, choking sound at the back of his throat.

“I don't know...I don't know who I am,” Steve continued in a mumble directed towards the dirt. “But I know...you know me. Who I was. Before. And I kn-know...I know I wasn't always...like this. I used to be...I was...good. I'm not anymore.” He slumped forward, fingers digging into the dirt as he practically bowed before Bucky. “You're my enemy...you tried to stop me...and I...I want you to stop me. Kill me. Please.”

“Shut up.” Bucky pushed forward, grabbing Steve by the shoulders and pulling him upright.

For a moment, Steve's startled eyes looked into his, full of confusion and surprise. Then Bucky pulled him into a crushing hug.

“Idiot!” Bucky angrily swiped a sleeve across his streaming eyes. “I'm not going to kill you! And I'm not your enemy.”

“You're...not?”

The sob of laughter that erupted from Bucky's throat was painful, but he didn't mind in the slightest. “No, Steve, no. You're my friend.”
