I am STILL LOSING IT over the smiley face Trojan Horse in The Warlord #55.
Like. This fucking shit turns up out the front of your gates. It's too big to come in your gates. It's a smiley face that says HAVE A NICE DAY and there's an obvious door in the side of it. What do you even think???
Incredible. Stunning. Travis Morgan the shit you are pulling on the people of Skartaris, who do not get any of the references involved in what nonsense you just created.
Mike Grell just glorying in all of the nonsense that comes into his mind in the Warlord will never not be funny to me.

I feel I don’t rant about Travis Morgan and Skartaris enough so here is your official reminder I adore them both and they are terrible.
Travis reached Skartaris, discovered he didn’t have to wear military clothing, then spent the next decade wearing progressively less and less clothing at all times. He’s the greatest warrior inside the earth and runs around in a jewelled belt slung over one shoulder and a loincloth. He wears a helmet and boots. His major arteries are all completely naked to the air in a place where people fight with swords.
Skartaris itself has every pulp mid 20th century SFF conspiracy you can think of. There are dinosaurs and druids, gladiators and slavers, wizards and ancient Atlantean technology. It is always sunny. It’s a hollow Earth. Time passes at a different speed.
