Kol Mikaelson//// Between Shadows and Light
Tumblr media
Anonymous request: hi hi. can we have an imagine about how reader is in love with kol but he falls for davina instead
Warnings: Romantic Tension, Heartbreak and Emotional Distress, Supernatural Elements, Intense Emotional, Complex Family Dynamics, Mature Themes and Language Character Flaws and Mistakes, Tension and Conflict
A/N: thank you once again for your request and. I also want to apologize if I got a bit carried away with the storyline there were so many twists and turns to explore! I hope you enjoyed the story as much as I did.
It was a crisp, late-autumn evening, and you found yourself wandering the streets of New Orleans, your heart heavy with an unfamiliar ache. You’d always had a soft spot for Kol Mikaelson, the mischievous spark in his eye, his infectious laugh, and the way he’d always managed to make you feel like you were the only one who understood his rebellious spirit. But lately, things have changed. you had seen that spark in his eye when he looked at someone else: Davina Claire.
you couldn’t quite pinpoint the moment when you realized Kol was falling for Davina. Maybe it was in the way his smile softened when he spoke of her, or how he seemed to hang on her every word, almost as if he was lost in a world that only Davina could create. you had tried to tell yourself it didn’t matter that whatever connection you two had was still strong, still unbreakable. But seeing Kol with Davina had been a rude awakening.
Tonight, you walked to the abandoned church that Davina had been using as your safe haven, feeling the weight of your decision pressing down on you. you knew Kol would be there. you needed to see it with your own eyes, needed to accept that whatever you two had shared was over.
As you neared the church, you could see the faint glow of candlelight flickering through the stained-glass windows. your footsteps slowed as you approached the doors, your eart pounding in your chest. You pressed your palm against the cold wood, breathing in deeply to calm your nerves. Steeling yourself, you pushed the door open just a crack, enough to see the scene unfolding within.
There, in the center of the room, stood Kol and Davina, wrapped in an embrace that was tender, yet powerful. Davina was laughing, her smile lighting up the dim room, and Kol looked down at her with an expression you had never seen before: a softness, a vulnerability. He looked like a man who had finally found something, or rather, someone, worth fighting for.
Your throat tightened, a pang of sadness washing over you as you realized that Kol had never looked at you that way. You watched as he brushed a stray strand of hair from Davina’s face, his fingers lingering on her cheek, and it was then that you knew. Kol Mikaelson was in love, and it wasn’t with you.
You took a step back, the quiet creak of the floorboards snapping you out of your trance. Before you could retreat, Kol’s head whipped around, his eyes catching yourself. For a moment, your and his gazes locked, and You saw a flash of guilt cross his face.
“Y/n,” he murmured, his voice barely above a whisper. He took a step toward you, as if unsure of what to say.
Davina turned, looking at you with a mixture of surprise and curiosity. “Y/n… I didn’t realize you were coming by tonight,” she said, her tone friendly but tentative.
You forced a small smile, trying to mask the emotions swirling inside you. “I didn’t mean to intrude. I just… needed some air. I didn’t realize you two would be here.”
Kol scratched the back of his neck, his usual cocky demeanor slipping away, replaced by something far more human, almost remorseful. “I’m sorry, Y/n. I didn’t… I didn’t want it to be like this.”
The words stung, but you did your best to brush it off, keeping your tone light. “No need to apologize. I guess I’m just… the last to know.”
Davina stepped forward, her eyes filled with sympathy. “Y/n, I had no idea. If I’d known how you felt…”
You shook your head, holding up a hand. “No, Davina. Don’t apologize. I’m glad he’s found someone like you. You… you bring out a side of him that’s good, that’s different.” You looked at Kol, forcing yourself to meet his gaze. “I just wanted to say goodbye, Kol. Maybe it’s time I let you be happy.”
Kol’s jaw tightened, as if he wanted to reach out to you, to say something, anything, that might make this easier. But you knew better. You knew that any apology, any explanation, would only deepen the ache in your heart.
“Y/n…” Kol began, his voice soft, almost pleading. but you couldn’t bear to hear it. you couldn’t bear to let him see you break.
“Take care of him, Davina,” you said, your voice barely a whisper as you turned away, fighting to keep your composure. You walked back toward the door, refusing to look back, refusing to let Kol see the tears welling up in your eyes.
As you stepped out into the cool night air, a sense of finality settled over you. Kol had chosen Davina, and as much as it hurt, you knew it was time for you to move on, to find your own happiness, no matter how painful this goodbye was.
It had been Rebekah who held you together, always there with her biting remarks and fierce loyalty. Rebekah, your best friend, had always despised Davina, especially after Kol’s sudden infatuation.
“I told you,” she had said one night as the two of you stood by the sidewalk, your eyes still red from tears. “My brother’s a bloody fool. Falling for that witch when he had you right in front of him.”
You had just nodded, your throat tight with emotion. “I guess it was never meant to be.”
Suddenly, the sound of footsteps echoed behind you, interrupting the silence of the night. You turned around, bracing yourself or yet another emotional conversation, but instead, you were met with the piercing blue gaze of Damon Salvatore. He leaned casually against a tree, a smirk playing on his lips, his posture as effortless as if he belonged in the shadows of this ancient place.
“Fancy meeting you here, princess,” he drawled, his voice filled with amusement. “Let me guess, you’re nursing a broken heart after the whole ‘Kol choosing Davina’ debacle?”
You crossed your arms, giving him a defiant look. “Is there anything you don’t know about, Damon? Or are you just that nosy?”
He shrugged, pushing off the tree and strolling closer to you. “Nosy? More like observant. Besides, I’m a sucker for drama, and the Originals are a soap opera I just can’t resist.”
You tried to hide your smile, but Damon’s wit had a way of lightening even the heaviest of moods. You looked down, taking a deep breath, as you gathered your thoughts. “I thought Kol and I had something… different. But I guess I was wrong.”
Damon tilted his head, his eyes narrowing as he studied you. “Wrong? Or maybe he’s just an idiot who doesn’t know a good thing when he sees it.” His tone was light, but there was an edge of sincerity that surprised you.
You felt a flicker of warmth at his words, though you quickly dismissed it, shaking your head. “You don’t have to say that, Damon. I know how complicated things can get with people like us… well, people like you all, anyway.”
Damon let out a dry chuckle. “Trust me, sweetheart, complicated is putting it lightly. But here’s the thing, some of us don’t let complicated get in the way of making the right choice.” He stepped closer, his smirk softening into something gentler. “So maybe, just maybe, you deserve someone who sees you as the first choice. Not the second.”
Your breath caught in your throat. you hadn’t expected this kind of honesty from Damon, of all people. He had a reputation as a heartbreaker, a troublemaker, someone who thrived in chaos. Yet here he was, offering you comfort, making you feel seen in a way you hadn’t felt in a long time.
“Are you saying that person should be you, Damon?” You teased, raising an eyebrow, though your heart thudded with the hint of a possibility.
He laughed, the sound low and genuine. “Maybe. Or maybe I’m just saying you deserve someone who’s not going to choose anyone else over you. Someone who’s willing to stay even when things get messy.”
your and his eyes met, and for a moment, everything else seemed to fade into the background: the heartache, the confusion, the lingering hurt from Kol’s decision. Standing there in the moonlight, Damon’s presence felt like an anchor, a steady reminder that maybe, just maybe, there was more to your story than the one you had allowed Kol to write.
You looked up at Damon, the corners of your mouth curving into a small, grateful smile. “Thanks, Damon. I didn’t know you had it in you.”
He smirked, crossing his arms with that familiar playful glint returning to his eyes. “There’s a lot you don’t know about me, Y/n. But stick around, and I might just surprise you.”
You laughed, feeling lighter for the first time that night. “I’ll hold you to that.”
You and Him stood there in comfortable silence, both aware that they were on the cusp of something new, something unexpected. Damon was right, maybe it was time you chose someone who would choose you without hesitation. And maybe, just maybe, Damon Salvatore was the perfect place to start.
But fate is cruel, and nothing ever truly ends when it’s supposed to. Days after Kol had moved on, your life took a different turn. Damon Salvatore had always been a bit of a wildcard, with his dark smirks and twisted sense of humor. What had started as casual flirting turned into something deeper, something unexpected. Damon had been there, picking up the pieces when Kol had broken your heart, and soon enough, you found yourself in his arms
The early afternoon sunlight poured through the large windows of the Salvatore boarding house, casting a warm glow over the living room where Elena and Stefan were lounging on the couch. They had been exchanging amused glances, whispering under their breaths as they watched Damon practically skip around the house, humming a tune they’d never heard him hum before. His mood had been noticeably different for the past few days, lighter, carefree, and oddly cheerful.
“Is it just me, or is Damon actually… happy?” Elena whispered, raising her eyebrows in disbelief.
Stefan chuckled softly, nodding in agreement. “It’s strange, right? I haven’t seen him this way in… well, ever. Usually, he’s brooding over something or complaining about everyone else’s problems.”
They shared a laugh, watching as Damon poured himself a glass of bourbon, his lips tugged into a smile that he seemed incapable of hiding. His eyes were distant, as though lost in a daydream, and Stefan and Elena couldn’t help but be intrigued. After a few moments, Stefan finally cleared his throat to get his brother’s attention.
“Alright, Damon, spill it,” Stefan said, crossing his arms and leaning back with a playful grin. “What’s got you in such a good mood? You look like you just won the lottery.”
Damon looked up, startled, as though he hadn’t even noticed his brother and Elena sitting there. For a brief second, he seemed almost embarrassed, a rare expression for him. But then, as if deciding he couldn’t keep it to himself any longer, he set down his glass and turned to face them, a mischievous smile spreading across his face.
“Well,” he began, dragging out the word with exaggerated flair, “since you’re so desperate to know… there may be a certain someone who’s been putting a little extra pep in my step.”
Elena’s eyes widened, and a delighted grin spread across her face. “Wait, seriously? You’ve met someone?”
Damon shrugged, trying to appear nonchalant, though the sparkle in his eyes betrayed him. “Maybe. Maybe not. You know me, I don’t like to kiss and tell.”
Stefan rolled his eyes. “Damon, come on. You’re practically floating around the house like some lovesick teenager. Just tell us already.”
Damon hesitated for a moment, as though weighing whether or not he wanted to share this particular detail. But as he glanced at his brother and Elena, he realized there was no point in hiding it. The truth was, he wanted to talk about you.
“Fine,” he said, feigning reluctance. “It’s Y/n.”
“Y/n?” Elena repeated, surprise flashing in her eyes. “As in Y/n Y/l/n? Kol’s ex?”
“Precisely.” Damon’s grin grew wider, and there was a glint of satisfaction in his gaze. “Though, I wouldn’t exactly call her Kol’s anymore, would you?”
Elena let out a laugh, covering her mouth in astonishment. “Damon! Oh my god, are you two actually…?”
He shrugged, a pleased smirk playing on his lips. “What can I say? She has good taste.”
Stefan exchanged a look with Elena, his own face breaking into a grin. “Well, I’ll be damned,” he muttered, shaking his head in amusement. “Who would’ve thought that you’d actually go for Kol’s ex? Though, now that I think about it, Y/n always seemed… different around you.”
Damon’s expression softened, the bravado fading as he thought about you. “Yeah,” he said quietly, almost to himself. “She’s… she’s something else. I don’t know how to explain it. With her, it just feels… easy.”
Elena’s eyes sparkled with excitement, and she clapped her hands together. “Oh, Damon, that’s amazing! I’m so happy for you!”
Damon chuckled, rubbing the back of his neck. “Don’t get all sappy on me now, Elena. I still have a reputation to uphold.”
But Elena and Stefan couldn’t help their excitement. For years, they had watched Damon struggle with his emotions, torn between his darker impulses and his desire to find happiness. And now, for the first time, he seemed genuinely content. They exchanged another glance, an idea forming in Elena’s mind as she leaned forward, her eyes bright.
“Hey, you know what we should do?” she suggested, her voice brimming with enthusiasm. “We should go on a double date! You, Y/n, Stefan, and me. It’ll be fun!”
Stefan’s eyebrows shot up, but he nodded, clearly intrigued by the idea. “That could actually be great, Damon. We could do something simple, maybe dinner and drinks. Just a chance for us to get to know Y/n better.”
Damon hesitated, his mind flashing to the inevitable reaction you’d have to the suggestion. But as he thought about it, he couldn’t deny that the idea sounded surprisingly appealing. Spending an evening with you, with his brother and Elena, almost like… a family. It was strange, almost too domestic for his tastes, but he found himself drawn to it.
“Alright, alright,” he finally agreed, his tone playfully reluctant. “But if you two start getting all mushy, I’m out. Last thing I need is to witness Stefan’s puppy-dog eyes.”
Stefan laughed, throwing a cushion at his brother. “Shut up, Damon. This is for you, remember?”
Damon rolled his eyes, but the faint smile that tugged at his lips betrayed his excitement. For once, he was allowing himself to imagine a life that wasn’t clouded by darkness or filled with endless battles. He was allowing himself to imagine a life with you.
Elena clapped her hands, practically vibrating with excitement. “Okay, I’ll text Y/n and let her know! This is going to be so much fun!”
But before she could pull out her phone, Damon held up a hand, stopping her. “Hold on, Elena. Let me talk to her first.” He shot her a knowing look, the playful glint in his eyes replaced with something softer. “I’d like to ask her myself.”
Elena’s face softened, a warm smile spreading across her face. “Of course, Damon. Take your time.”
With that, Damon stood, his heart beating a little faster than usual. As he left the room, Stefan and Elena exchanged a look, a mixture of surprise and happiness written across their faces. They had always believed in Damon’s ability to find happiness, even when he doubted it himself. And now, seeing him so taken with you, they couldn’t help but feel a sense of hope.
“Do you think it’ll last?” Stefan asked softly, a hint of worry in his eyes.
Elena took his hand, giving it a reassuring squeeze. “I think… I think he deserves this. He deserves someone who makes him happy. And if Y/n is the one, then I believe in them.”
Stefan nodded, his gaze thoughtful. “Then let’s make this double date happen.”
Meanwhile, Damon made his way upstairs, feeling an unfamiliar excitement buzzing through his veins. He had been with other women before, of course, but none had left him feeling like this, like he was teetering on the edge of something bigger than himself. And as he reached his room, he pulled out his phone, your number already at the top of his contact list. Without hesitating, he typed out a quick message:
“Hey, how do you feel about a double date with Stefan and Elena? Dinner, drinks, just us four. Let me know what you think.” He hesitated for a moment, then hit send, exhaling slowly as he waited for your reply.
The bright screen of your phone lit up, and your heart skipped a beat as you saw Damon’s name flash across the screen. It was a simple message, but the thought of Damon asking you on a double date made butterflies flutter wildly in your stomach. You felt your cheeks warm as you read his words again, a little grin slipping onto your face despite yourself:
“Hey, how do you feel about a double date with Stefan and Elena? Dinner, drinks, just us four. Let me know what you think.”
You stared at the text, trying to steady your nervously hands,Damon Salvatore, the one person who could always make you feel so alive, had been a constant presence these last few days. Ever since Kol had chosen Davina over you, Damon had swooped in, helping you move past the hurt. He had a way of making you laugh even on your worst days, his sarcasm a strange kind of comfort. And now, this double date, it felt like something you never thought you’d have with anyone, let alone Damon.
You typed back quickly, fingers flying over the screen. “I’d love that. Let me know when and where. Can’t wait!” As you hit send, a giggle escaped your lips, a genuine laugh that felt like a long time coming. You had just closed the text thread when Rebekah, who had been watching you from across the room with a sly smile, cleared her throat dramatically.
“Well, well, well,” she drawled, crossing her arms and arching a perfectly sculpted brow. “Someone looks absolutely smitten. Care to explain, Honey?”
You felt your face heat up, a sheepish grin spreading as you tried (and failed) to play it cool. “It’s nothing, Rebekah,” you mumbled, though the excitement in your voice gave you away.
“Oh, please,” Rebekah laughed, nudging you with her shoulder as she took a seat next to you on the couch. “You’ve been floating around like a lovestruck fool these past few days. Spill it, Y/n. I want all the details.”
You bit your lip, hesitating for a moment. But you and Rebekah were best friends, and if anyone would understand how complicated things had become, it was her. With a deep breath, you finally confessed, “It’s Damon. He just asked me out, well, sort of. He asked if I’d go on a double date with him, his brother, and Elena.”
Rebekah’s eyes widened, and a grin spread across her face as she squealed in excitement. “Oh, Y/n! This is huge! A double date? With Damon Salvatore?” She nudged you, her eyes glinting with mischief. “This isn’t just some casual invite, sweetheart. Double dates are serious business.”
You couldn’t help but laugh, Rebekah’s enthusiasm contagious. “It’s just dinner and drinks,” you replied, trying to sound casual, though you knew your attempt was weak at best. “But… I don’t know. I think it could be fun.”
“Fun? Y/n, this is a big deal,” Rebekah insisted, her face lighting up. “I haven’t seen Damon this interested in anyone in years. And honestly, after what Kol did, you deserve this. You deserve someone who actually knows what they have.”
The mention of Kol caused a brief pang in your chest, but the pain wasn’t as sharp as it had been before. Damon had been there for you when Kol broke your heart, helping you pick up the pieces. And now, as you thought about the prospect of going out with Damon, it felt like you were finally letting yourself move forward.
Rebekah leaned in closer, her eyes twinkling with excitement. “So, tell me everything. How did this even start? Last I checked, you and Damon were just… friends, right?”
You hesitated, but Rebekah’s curiosity only fueled your excitement. “I don’t even know, honestly. After everything that happened with Kol… I guess Damon just made things easier. He never tried to pry or ask how I was feeling, you know? He just made me laugh. And then, I don’t know, something just… clicked.”
Rebekah grinned, looking incredibly pleased. “I knew it! I always thought there was something between you two, even when you were with Kol. Damon’s too protective over you to be just a friend.”
The truth in her words made you pause. Damon had been protective of you, watching out for you when Kol’s betrayal left you shattered. And there had been moments, small, fleeting glances, lingering touches, that you’d brushed off as mere friendship. But now, thinking back, you couldn’t deny that there had always been a spark.
“He’s… different,” you admitted softly, looking down at your hands. “I know he has this bad reputation, but with me, he’s… I don’t know, he’s just Damon. He makes me feel like I’m not broken.”
Rebekah reached over, squeezing your hand gently. “That’s because he sees you for who you really are, Y/n. Not as someone’s ex, not as someone who’s hurting, just you.”
The warmth in her words made you smile, feeling a weight lift from your chest. You’d spent so long believing that Kol was your only chance at happiness, that you’d overlooked the one person who’d been there all along.
“So,” Rebekah continued, her grin turning mischievous again, “what are you going to wear?”
You laughed, the tension melting as you rolled your eyes at her excitement. “Honestly, I haven’t even thought about it yet. Damon hasn’t told me the details. I don’t even know where we’re going.”
Rebekah waved a dismissive hand, a determined look flashing in her eyes. “Well, that doesn’t matter. We’re going to make sure you look absolutely stunning. If Damon’s taking you on a proper date, then you’re going to knock his socks off.”
She stood up, pulling you to your feet and guiding you towards your wardrobe. You followed her, unable to resist the infectious energy in her voice. Together, you began rifling through your clothes, Rebekah tossing options onto the bed as she offered commentary on each one.
“Oh, this would be perfect,” she said, holding up a sleek black dress. “Something classy but not too over-the-top. Damon’s already wrapped around your finger; this will just seal the deal.”
You laughed, shaking your head. “It’s just one date, Rebekah. Let’s not get ahead of ourselves.”
But as you looked down at the dress in her hands, a small thrill of excitement rushed through you. You couldn’t help but imagine Damon’s reaction, his eyes lighting up as he saw you walk into the room. Maybe it was just one date, but for the first time in a long while, you felt hopeful.
Rebekah’s eyes softened as she took in your smile. “You deserve this, Y/n. After everything, you deserve someone who makes you feel like this.”
You nodded, her words filling you with a renewed sense of confidence. Damon had seen you at your worst, had been there when Kol left, and hadn’t judged or pitied you. He simply made you feel… alive.
As you stood there with Rebekah, discussing every little detail of the date, you felt a warmth spread through your chest, a quiet happiness that you hadn’t felt in a long time
The following evening, Damon found himself standing outside your apartment, his usual cocky demeanor replaced by a hint of nervousness. He’d put on a well-fitted black button-down, and for once, he’d even brushed his hair, trying to look a little more put-together than usual. As he knocked on the door, he mentally braced himself, hoping you wouldn’t see through his attempt at playing it cool.
The door opened, and there you were, looking radiant in a simple yet elegant dress that brought out the sparkle in your eyes. Damon felt his heart full of happiness, momentarily forgetting his own name as you smiled up at him.
“You’re early,” You teased, raising an eyebrow. “Didn’t take you for the punctual type.”
He smirked, shrugging nonchalantly. “What can I say? Some people are worth showing up on time for.”
Before you could respond, Damon offered you his arm, his smirk softening as he looked down at you. “You ready for a night of painfully awkward double-dating?”
You laughed, taking his arm as you and him walked down the stairs. “I’m ready if you are. Who knew you had a normal date in you, Salvatore?”
“Only for you, princess,” he replied, and though his tone was playful, there was a warmth in his voice that left you momentarily speechless.
Before you could respond, the doors of the restaurant opened, and Stefan and Elena emerged, both smiling warmly as they approached. Elena greeted you with an enthusiastic hug, while Stefan gave you a polite nod.
“Y/n, you look amazing!” Elena said, her smile genuine. “This is going to be fun. Damon actually behaving on a date is rare enough to be a show in itself.”
“Hey, I’m perfectly capable of behaving,” Damon quipped, pretending to be offended. “I just choose not to most of the time. It keeps life interesting.”
You stifled a laugh, glancing over at Stefan, who gave you a knowing look. “Believe it or not, this is him trying his best to impress you,” Stefan whispered to you, a grin tugging at his lips.
The four of you settled into a cozy corner booth inside the restaurant, where dim candlelight flickered between the four of you casting a warm glow over the polished wood table. Damon took the seat beside you, his knee brushing against your under the table. You felt a spark of electricity at the touch, wondering if he’d done it on purpose. He didn’t pull away, so you assumed he had.
As the waiter brought the menus, Damon leaned over, looking at you with an amused glint in his eyes. “So, what do you think? I figured you’d appreciate the authenticity, no garlic, of course, given the company.”
You snickered, trying not to be too charmed. “You’re saying you brought me to a vampire-safe restaurant? How considerate of you.”
Elena laughed from across the table, nudging Stefan. “Damon actually being thoughtful? Who knew?”
Stefan smirked, casting a glance at his brother. “I think it’s Y/n’s influence. She brings out the… softer side of him.”
Damon rolled his eyes, though you noticed a hint of a blush on his face. “Alright, alright, enough with the brotherly observations. Let’s just focus on the food, shall we?”
As the four of you ordered appetizers, the conversation turned light, covering topics like movies, music, and the occasional humorous story about Mystic Falls and its array of supernatural chaos. you found yourself relaxing, letting go of the usual guardedness you wore around people. Elena and Stefan made it easy, they both seemed genuinely interested in getting to know you beyond just your connection with Damon.
After a while, Elena leaned in, giving you a curious look. “So, Y/n, tell me… what’s it like being with Damon?” Her tone was playful, but you could sense a genuine curiosity there, too. Elena had her own history with Damon, but she seemed genuinely supportive of whatever was happening between him and you.
You chuckled, glancing over at Damon, who was pretending to be overly engrossed in his wine glass. “Honestly? It’s a bit of an adventure. You never really know what to expect. But he has this… surprising side that I didn’t expect. He’s a lot more thoughtful than he lets on.”
Damon cleared his throat, clearly embarrassed but also amused. “Oh, please, keep flattering me. I’ll get a big head,” he joked, though his hand subtly found its way to yours under the table, his thumb brushing your knuckles gently.
Stefan shook his head, smirking. “Y/n’s right. Damon hides behind sarcasm and arrogance, but deep down, he’s just a sentimental softy.”
Damon shot his brother a look, but you could feel the warmth radiating from him. There was something vulnerable in the way he held you, as though he was grateful for presence in a way words couldn’t fully capture.
As the main courses arrived, the conversation shifted, dipping into more personal memories and stories of Mystic Falls’ supernatural side. Damon seemed at ease, sharing memories with Stefan, trading inside jokes with Elena, and occasionally casting glances at you as though you were the one keeping him grounded amidst it all.
At one point, Stefan brought up a story from when they were children, running around the Salvatores’ old family estate. “Damon used to sneak out at night to meet girls in the village,” Stefan revealed with a laugh, “but he’d always get caught because he was terrible at sneaking back in.”
“Oh, so you were always a troublemaker,” you teased, nudging him playfully.
Damon grinned, leaning closer to you. “I like to think I’m just adventurous. Keeps life from getting too predictable.”
Elena smiled, watching Damon and you with a look of fondness. “You two balance each other out. It’s nice seeing him happy. He doesn’t let his guard down easily.”
You looked over at Damon, your and his eyes meeting, and for a moment, everything else faded. In his gaze, you saw a depth of feeling he rarely allowed anyone to see. You realized that beneath the sarcasm, arrogance, and rebellious streak, Damon was simply someone who wanted to be understood and accepted.
As dessert was served, Damon leaned back, looking around the table with a satisfied grin. “Well, I think we can all agree this was a successful night. No bloodshed, no dramatics, just good food, decent company, and no supernatural shenanigans. A rare thing for us.”
You raise your glass, smirking. “I’ll drink to that. Here’s to normalcy, well, as close as we’ll get to it, anyway.”
You all clinked their glasses, laughter filling the cozy little restaurant. As the evening wound down, Damon offered to walk you home, leaving Stefan and Elena to settle the bill.
Outside, the cool night air enveloped you two as you and Damon strolled down the quiet streets. Damon’s arm wrapped protectively around your shoulders, and you couldn’t help but feel a warmth spreading through your chest. This night felt different. It was simple, but it had given you a glimpse into something real, a chance to be with Damon without the chaos that usually surrounded the two of you.
He stopped in front of your apartment, turning to face you with that familiar smirk softened by the sincerity in his gaze. “So, what’s the verdict, princess? Did I do alright?”
You pretended to think, tapping your chin thoughtfully. “You know, I think you actually behaved yourself. It’s impressive.”
Damon chuckled, stepping closer until there was barely any space between the two of you. “Only because you’re worth it.”
Before you could respond, he leaned down, pressing a gentle kiss to your lips. It was soft, almost tentative, as if he was afraid of breaking whatever had formed between the two of . You and you closed your eyes, letting yourself sink into the warmth of his embrace, feeling your heart race with a mixture of excitement and hope.
When you and he finally pulled apart, Damon looked down at you with a mixture of affection and amusement. “You might be dangerous for me, Y/n,” he murmured. “But I think I’m willing to take that risk.”
You smiled, reaching up to cup his cheek. “Good. Because I think you’re worth it too, Damon.”
And for that one perfect moment, standing under the quiet night sky, you knew you had found something rare with Damon, something worth fighting for.
The candlelit hall of the Mikaelson mansion was silent, save for the sound of wine glasses clinking and silverware scraping against fine porcelain. The entire family had gathered for dinner, a rare occasion that somehow felt heavier than usual. Klaus sat at the head of the table, swirling his wine glass, his sharp eyes flicking between his siblings. Elijah was calm, as always, and Rebekah sat across from him, occasionally glancing at her phone, a sly smile tugging at her lips.
Kol, however, had been fidgeting the entire evening. His mind was elsewhere, with Davina. It had been days since he’d chosen her over you. At the time, it felt like the right decision, a young witch who admired him, someone who saw the world in the same magical, ancient way he did. But now, as he sat there, a gnawing emptiness took hold in his chest. You. He hadn’t seen you since the day you walked on him and Davina hugging and the hurt in your eyes still haunted him, though he tried to convince himself that he had done the right thing.
Klaus leaned forward, breaking the silence. “Has anyone seen Y/n lately? She’s usually around more often than not.”
Kol froze, his grip tightening on the fork. Just the mention of your name sent a jolt through him.
Rebekah raised an eyebrow, her grin widening mischievously. “Oh, didn’t you hear? She’s on a double date tonight.”
Kol’s fork clattered to the table. He looked up sharply, his hands gripping the table roughly. “A double date?”
“With Stefan and Elena,” Rebekah continued, clearly enjoying this far too much. She leaned back in her chair, crossing her legs. “And Damon.”
Kol’s breath hitched. Damon. You were with Damon? His mind spiraled, imagining you laughing at Damon’s sarcastic jokes, maybe even holding his hand. His stomach churned with jealousy.
“They both like each other,” Rebekah added nonchalantly, taking a sip of her wine. “You didn’t know?”
A flash of heat surged through Kol, and suddenly, the entire room seemed to blur. His pulse pounded in his ears, his vision tinged with red. Y/n? His Y/n? He shot to his feet, his chair screeching against the floor as it toppled over.
“You’re lying,” he spat, his voice shaking with fury. “She wouldn’t.”
Rebekah’s smile never wavered. “Oh, Kol, you of all people should know better than to underestimate Y/n. And besides, they’ve gotten quite cozy lately.”
Kol couldn’t breathe. He felt like the walls were closing in. Damon. He could already see Damon’s smug face, his arm casually draped around you, his cocky grin while you blushed at one of his flirtatious remarks. A wave of possessiveness crashed over him, followed by a deep, hollow pain. You were supposed to be his, but he had pushed you away, and now, someone else had taken his place.
Elijah, sensing Kol’s mounting distress, stood up. “Kol, sit down.”
But Kol didn’t listen. His mind was racing, his emotions spiraling out of control. “Where is it?” he muttered under his breath, shoving past the table. He stormed down the hall, searching wildly. “Where’s my bloody bat?”
Klaus frowned, sharing a glance with Elijah before rising to follow his brother. “Kol, what are you doing?” His voice was stern, but there was an undercurrent of amusement. “You’re not seriously going after Damon, are you?”
Kol found the bat, an old, worn wooden weapon he had used in fits of rage before, and grabbed it, his knuckles white as he clenched it tightly. “He doesn’t deserve her,” Kol growled, his voice raw with emotion. “She’s mine.”
Elijah stepped in front of him, his hand raised in a calming gesture. “Kol, this is not the way to handle it.”
But Kol couldn’t hear him, the pain in his chest too much to bear. His knees buckled, and before he knew it, he had dropped the bat, his hands covering his face as a sob tore from his throat.
“She’s mine, Elijah,” he choked out, his voice breaking. “My darling. I… I didn’t realize what I had until it was too late.”
Klaus looked at Kol, his expression softening. For all his bravado, his younger brother was breaking apart right in front of him. He stepped forward, placing a hand on Kol’s shoulder. “Kol, you made your choice.”
“But I chose wrong!” Kol cried, his tears falling freely now. “I thought… I thought Davina was what I wanted, but it’s Y/n. It’s always been Y/n.” He sank to the floor, defeated, his shoulders shaking with the force of his sobs. “I’ve lost her.”
Rebekah, who had been watching from the doorway, stepped forward, her teasing demeanor gone. She knelt beside Kol, gently brushing his hair away from his face. “You haven’t lost her yet, Kol,” she said softly. “But if you don’t fix this, if you let Damon have her… you’ll never get her back.”
“Please,” Kol whispered, his voice barely audible. “Help me.”
Klaus, Rebekah, and Elijah exchanged a glance. They might be a dysfunctional family, but they always stood by each other, especially when one of them was truly broken.
Rebekah squeezed Kol’s hand gently. “We’ll figure it out,” she promised. “But you need to act fast.”
The Mikaelson siblings gathered in the dimly lit room, the air thick with tension as they strategized on how to help Kol win you back. Klaus leaned against the wall, arms crossed, his expression contemplative. “We need to remind her of what she means to Kol,” he said, his voice steady. “He may have chosen Davina in the past, but Y/N is someone who can bring out the best in him.”
Rebekah chimed in, her enthusiasm infectious. “We should plan something grand! A gesture that shows Kol’s true feelings. Maybe a romantic evening at the place they used to go together?”
Elijah nodded, adding, “It needs to be more than just a gesture. Kol must confront his past mistakes and show Y/N that he’s willing to fight for her, not just for his own happiness but for theirs together.”
After a long night filled with planning and trying to unwind, you finally collapsed onto the sofa in the Salvatore living room. Damon had gone to fetch a bottle of bourbon to “celebrate surviving another day without getting killed,” as he put it, while Elena and Stefan lingered in the kitchen, discussing the next steps in your quest for the cure. It was an oddly peaceful moment after the intensity of the evening, the quiet allowing you to sink into your thoughts.
Your phone buzzed on the cushion next to you. You glanced down to see Rebekah’s name lighting up the screen, her message popping up beneath it. “How was your little double date, darling? Are you and Damon actually being civil for once, or did he make it awkward?”
You couldn’t help but smirk at your best friend’s playful teasing. Rebekah had always been vocal about her distaste for Damon’s attitude, even more so now that you were dating him. She had been cautiously supportive of your decision, though not without her share of doubts. You quickly tapped out a response.
“It was fine, actually. Elena and Stefan were their usual cheerful selves, and Damon was…well, Damon. You know how he is.”
Rebekah’s reply came almost immediately. “So, he was brooding and acting like the world revolves around him? Sounds about right. Tell me you didn’t let him get away with that all night.”
You chuckled softly, glancing toward the kitchen to make sure no one was within earshot before typing back “I gave him plenty of sass, don’t worry. He wouldn’t get away with brooding around me. Though, to be fair, he did manage to be charming, too. In his own way.”
The pause before Rebekah’s next reply felt longer than it should have, her response more serious than before “I still can’t believe you’re doing this, Y/N. You and Damon… It just feels so…sudden. I know you’re happy, but are you really sure about him?”
Before you could reply to her text message. Elena sat with you in the cozy living room, the warm glow of the fireplace casting soft shadows around the room. She watched you with a gentle smile as you adjusted the hem of your dress, a thoughtful look on her face.
After a moment, Elena cleared her throat, and you looked up to see her eyes fixed on you, sincere and warm.
“Y/n,” she began, her voice soft yet steady, “I just wanted to say… I’m really happy that Damon found someone like you.” She leaned forward, her gaze filled with kindness. “He deserves happiness, more than most people realize. He tries to act all tough, but deep down, I think he just wants someone who understands him.”
You felt a blush rise to your cheeks at her words, feeling the familiar rush of emotions you’d come to associate with Damon. It was strange hearing Elena, of all people, talk about Damon this way. After everything between her and Damon, you weren’t sure how she would feel about you being with him. And truthfully, a small part of you had been worried that it would make things awkward. But Elena’s smile was genuine, her warmth unmistakable.
“Thank you, Elena,” you said softly, returning your smile. “I think… I think he really understands me, too. I never thought I’d feel this way about him, but… here we are.” You laughed, a bit nervously, glancing down at your hands. “I’m just glad you’re okay with it. I wouldn’t want it to make things weird between us.”
Elena’s eyes softened as she reached over and placed a hand on yours. “It won’t. I promise. Actually, I wanted to tell you that… I really want to be friends with you, Y/n. My past with Damon… well, it’s exactly that. The past. I don’t want it to come between us, or for you to feel uncomfortable.”
You felt a sense of relief wash over you. “That means a lot to me, Elena. Honestly, I was a little worried. I know how close you and Damon were.”
Elena nodded, understanding the hint of concern in your voice. “I get it. But you have nothing to worry about. I’ve seen the way Damon looks at you, and I’ve never seen him look at anyone like that. Not even me.” She let out a small laugh, almost as if she were surprised by her own words. “You bring out a side of him that I don’t think he even knew he had.”
Her words filled you with a mixture of warmth and reassurance. The fact that Elena, someone who had known Damon so well and had shared so much with him, could support your relationship with him meant more than you could put into words.
“It’s funny,” you said, a shy smile tugging at your lips, “I never would’ve thought Damon could be this… soft. But with me, he’s so different. He makes me laugh, and he listens in a way that makes me feel seen. I think… I think he really cares about me.”
Elena’s smile grew, her eyes shining with understanding. “He does, Y/n. I can see it. And to be honest, I think he’s been waiting a long time for someone like you.” She paused, her gaze turning a bit wistful as she looked towards the flickering flames in the fireplace. “Damon has his faults, sure, but I believe there’s always been this good part of him, just waiting for someone to bring it out. I just didn’t think it would be possible… until now.”
You took a deep breath, feeling a weight lift from your chest. “Thank you, Elena. I was so nervous about how you’d feel. I don’t want this to get in the way of anything, especially between you, Stefan, and Damon. You three have such a complicated history.”
Elena nodded, her expression thoughtful. “It’s true. Things between us have always been… complicated.” She let out a small sigh, a mixture of nostalgia and acceptance in her voice. “But you know, we’ve all grown. I’ve realized that sometimes people come into your life to show you parts of yourself you never knew were there. Damon did that for me, and in a way, so did Stefan.”
She looked at you, her smile tinged with sincerity. “But seeing him with you… it’s different. It’s like he’s found something he didn’t even know he was missing. And I think it’s safe to say that I want to be here for both of you, as a friend.”
You felt your heart swell with gratitude as you reached over and hugged her, feeling her arms wrap around you in a warm embrace. “Thank you, Elena. Really. I’m so lucky to have you as a friend.”
When you both pulled back, she laughed, wiping a small tear from the corner of her eye. “Oh, look at me, getting all emotional. Damon would probably roll his eyes if he knew we were having this talk.”
The both of you shared a laugh, imagining Damon’s reaction. Just then, the sound of footsteps echoed down the stairs. Damon and Stefan appeared, Damon looking slightly awkward as he adjusted his collar, glancing between the two of you with a raised eyebrow.
“What’s this? A secret meeting?” he teased, a hint of suspicion in his voice as he looked between you and Elena.
Elena grinned, giving him a mischievous look. “Nothing you need to worry about, Damon. Just girl talk.”
Stefan chuckled, slipping his arm around Elena’s shoulders. “Trust me, brother, you don’t want to know. They’re probably talking about how to keep you in line.”
Damon scoffed, though there was a playful gleam in his eyes as he gave you a smirk. “Well, good luck with that, ladies. I’m not exactly known for playing by the rules.”
You rolled your eyes, but couldn’t help the smile spreading across your face. “Trust me, I’ve noticed.”
Damon’s eyes softened as he held your gaze, a hint of something deeper flickering beneath his playful exterior. The way he looked at you in that moment sent a wave of warmth through your chest, a feeling of certainty that left you breathless.
Clearing his throat, Damon extended his arm to you. “Ready, Y/n?” His smirk softened, his voice filled with genuine excitement. “Let’s go show these two how it’s done.”
Taking his arm, you felt a surge of excitement and anticipation. You glanced back at Elena, who gave you an encouraging smile, and then at Stefan, who simply nodded, his own expression filled with quiet approval. With Damon by your side and Elena’s friendship secured, it felt like everything was finally falling into place.
As you left the house, Damon led you out onto the porch, casting a lingering glance your way. He leaned in, his voice low enough that only you could hear. “By the way, thanks for being so patient with all… this.” He gestured vaguely toward the house, as if encompassing the entire complicated history of his family and friends.
You smiled up at him, feeling the warmth of his hand in yours. “It’s worth it, Damon. Every single part of it.”
His eyes lingered on you, a soft smile tugging at the corners of his mouth. And for the first time, you felt like you were stepping into something new, with Damon at your side and Elena’s friendship by your side, a future that, despite everything, felt bright.
The bright afternoon sun filtered through the trees as Damon and Elena stood in line, waiting to buy the tickets for the movie. It was their second double date, and despite their past, Damon felt strangely comfortable with Elena at his side, like two old friends moving past all the complications. There was an ease in their silence as they stood together, both scanning the colorful posters lining the theater wall.
Elena glanced over at Damon, her expression thoughtful. “You know,” she began softly, breaking the comfortable silence, “I really am happy for you, Damon. Seeing you with Y/n… it’s nice. She’s a good match for you.”
Damon raised an eyebrow, a hint of amusement playing at his lips. “Are you really, though? Last time I checked, you were the one dealing with my so-called charm.” He shot her a teasing grin.
Elena laughed, nudging him playfully. “Believe it or not, yes, I’m happy for you. And I mean it. We’ve both been through enough, and it’s… it’s just time to let it all go. The past is behind us.”
Damon’s smile softened as he took in her words. “I couldn’t agree more, Elena. We had our time, and it shaped us. But Y/n… she’s my future. Being with her feels like a fresh start.”
Elena’s gaze turned serious, her tone softening as she continued, “That’s good, Damon. I just want you to be happy. But…” She paused, a hint of playful warning entering her voice. “If you ever hurt her, you’re going to regret it. Y/n means a lot to me, and I won’t just sit back and watch her get hurt.”
Damon chuckled, feigning innocence. “Me? Hurt her? Not even on my radar. Besides,” his expression turned earnest, “I’m not even thinking about it. I love her, Elena. For the first time, it feels real. I don’t want to mess this up.”
She studied him for a moment, as if weighing the truth in his words, before her face softened into a smile. “Good. I’ll hold you to that.”
Damon’s grin returned, and he leaned a little closer, his tone laced with mischief. “Wait a minute. Are you telling me you’re going to threaten me? The ex-girlfriend protection squad?”
Elena crossed her arms, a smug smile dancing on her lips. “Oh, definitely. Us girls have to stick together, Damon. Sorry, no hard feelings.”
Damon put a hand to his heart, feigning hurt. “Rude! Here I thought you’d be on my side. I see how it is now.”
Elena laughed, rolling her eyes. “Hey, I only said that I’m happy for you. But when it comes to Y/n, I’ve got her back. Deal with it.”
Damon let out a chuckle, shaking his head. “Well, good thing I don’t have any intentions of messing this up, or I’d be in trouble with the Elena Gilbert Mafia.”
Elena smirked, nodding. “You’d better believe it. So keep that in mind, alright?” She bumped her shoulder against his in a playful, almost sisterly way, and Damon couldn’t help but feel a strange sense of peace wash over him. It was like a bridge between their complicated past and the simple present they’d found with each other’s support.
Just then, he spotted you and Stefan emerging from the snack bar, arms loaded with popcorn and drinks. You were laughing at something Stefan said, your whole face lighting up, and Damon’s heart swelled at the sight.
Elena followed his gaze, a smile softening her features. “Come on,” she said, nudging him, “let’s go join our soulmates.”
Damon let out a laugh, throwing her a teasing look. “Oh, so now we’re officially double-dating soulmates? How romantic.”
Elena rolled her eyes, but her expression was warm. “Hey, I’m just happy I don’t have to deal with the two of you alone anymore. Now I have backup.”
Damon shot her a grin. “Fair enough. But for the record, if you need backup, I’ve got you too.”
They walked over to you and Stefan, their laughter fading as you all gathered together. Stefan handed a large tub of popcorn to Elena and turned to Damon with a knowing smirk.
“All set?” Stefan asked, glancing between you and Damon with a hint of amusement.
Damon wrapped an arm around your shoulders, pulling you close with an affectionate smile. “More than ready,” he replied, giving you a wink.
You laughed, reaching over to loop your arm around his. “Good. I can’t wait to see if this movie actually lives up to the hype.”
As the four of you entered the theater, Damon exchanged a glance with Elena, a silent understanding passing between them. The past was behind them, but it was clear that your presence in his life had brought a peace Damon hadn’t known before.
In the dim light of the theater, Damon held your hand, feeling your warmth, and knew he’d finally found his place.
In the grand dining hall of the Mikaelson estate, Klaus, Rebekah, Elijah, and Kol sat around a massive, candlelit table, deep in conversation. They’d gathered to discuss Kol’s situation with you, each sibling giving their opinion on how to help him win you back.
Klaus leaned forward, a mischievous glint in his eyes. “Kol, dear brother, it’s clear you made a grave mistake choosing Davina. But all is not lost. I suggest a grand gesture, a reminder of everything you and Y/n shared.”
Rebekah rolled her eyes, though her tone was sympathetic. “Or you could try a more subtle approach, Kol. Something that shows Y/n you’ve changed, that you’re worth her time. Rushing in with theatrics will only make things worse.”
Kol frowned, clearly conflicted. “But she’s with Damon now. She’s found a place with him, with the Salvatores. How can I get her to see that I’m the one she belongs with?”
Elijah, ever calm and wise, looked at Kol thoughtfully. “Sometimes, winning someone back is less about grand gestures and more about simply being there, showing her what she meant to you. Perhaps you should try spending time around her without expectation.”
Kol’s jaw tightened, his emotions raw. He missed you deeply, and seeing you with Damon had stirred a painful jealousy. But his siblings’ support filled him with a renewed sense of determination. He nodded slowly, his mind already churning through ideas.
Meanwhile, across town in the Salvatore house, you sat beside Damon, Elena, and Stefan, the four of you huddled around a small table, absorbed in your plans. The first goal was to find the cure for vampirism, a chance for each of you to return to a human life. It was something Damon, Stefan, Elena, and you had long dreamed about, and now, it felt closer than ever.
“So, the cure,” Damon said, his voice thoughtful as he looked around at each of you. “Once we take it, there’s no going back.”
Elena reached across the table, placing her hand on his. “I know. But this is what we’ve always wanted. And… I can’t imagine a better way to live than with you.” She looked over at you and Stefan, a warm smile lighting up her face. “With all of us.”
Stefan nodded, his gaze steady. “Once we’re human again, we’ll be free of everything—the bloodlust, the compulsion, the endless need to hide who we are. And we can have lives together. Actual lives.”
You squeezed Damon’s hand, a smile spreading across your face. “And then,” you added, voice softening, “we can plan the second part of our plan, the wedding.”
Damon’s eyes sparkled as he looked at you, his grin widening. “Ah, yes, the wedding. The real prize at the end of all this.”
Stefan smirked. “And just think, double the wedding gifts.” He winked at Elena, who laughed, her face lighting up with excitement.
Elena looked around the table, her eyes bright. “This is what we’ve always wanted, isn’t it? A normal life. Something beyond all the chaos and danger. It’s finally within reach.”
Damon squeezed your hand again, his voice low but full of conviction. “And I promise, Y/n, nothing and no one is going to ruin this for us.”
As the Mikaelsons huddled over their plans, determined to bring you back into their lives, you and Elena were on a very different mission. Sitting side by side on the couch in the Salvatore living room, you both scrolled through images of beautiful wedding venues on your tablets, occasionally pointing out locations that caught your eye. The two of you were beaming with excitement, savoring every detail of planning a future you’d longed for.
“Oh, look at this one!” Elena said, leaning closer to show you a breathtaking venue nestled by a lake, surrounded by towering trees and a blanket of flowers. “Imagine a sunset ceremony here.”
You let out a small gasp, enchanted by the natural beauty of the place. “It’s perfect. And imagine the pictures, especially with that golden hour lighting!” You scrolled further, admiring the elegant yet simple decorations. “This might just be the one.”
Elena grinned, sharing in your excitement. “We’re getting so close to making this real, Y/n. I can’t believe it!”
The two of you giggled like schoolgirls, immersed in the magic of wedding planning. The idea of finally escaping the supernatural life and starting fresh together was surreal yet thrilling.
Meanwhile, across the room, Damon and Stefan sat together, laptops open, their focus entirely on engagement rings. Damon’s brows were furrowed in concentration as he scrolled through a range of rings, from classic solitaires to intricate vintage designs, determined to find the one that would capture everything he felt for you.
“What do you think of this one?” Damon asked, showing Stefan a delicate, emerald-cut diamond set in a simple platinum band.
Stefan nodded, a smile tugging at the corner of his mouth. “That’s a good choice. Classy, elegant… very you.”
Damon shot him a mock glare. “You mean very Y/n.” He chuckled, clicking through a few more options, each one more dazzling than the last.
Stefan held up his own laptop, showing a ring he’d picked for Elena. “I think this might be the one,” he said, glancing at his brother for approval. It was a timeless piece—a round diamond set in a halo of smaller stones, with a vintage band.
Damon studied it thoughtfully. “You’re really going all out. She’ll love it.”
As the brothers continued their search, there was a shared, quiet anticipation between them. The rings represented not just a promise but the new life they were about to step into, a life that, for once, held the possibility of peace and joy.
After hours of scrolling, laughing, and debating, you and Elena had finally made your choice. You’d settled on a breathtaking lakeside venue with twinkling lights and a natural archway woven from branches and wildflowers. For the dresses, you’d chosen delicate, timeless designs with a touch of elegance, perfect for an outdoor celebration. Everything felt like a dream slowly coming together.
As you and Elena sat back, satisfied with your decisions, the boys exchanged a silent, knowing look. Damon and Stefan had found the rings, each unique and beautiful, symbols of the forever you were all stepping into together.
Damon reached over, giving your hand a gentle squeeze, his face softening as he looked at you. “Well, looks like we’re ready for the next big step,” he murmured, his voice filled with warmth and love.
Elena grinned, nudging Stefan playfully. “We did it! We’re really making this happen.”
The four of you exchanged looks filled with excitement and a touch of disbelief, savoring the quiet joy of knowing you’d soon have a life beyond the supernatural battles and betrayals.
But, miles away, in the shadows of the Mikaelson estate, another plan was falling into place. Kol Mikaelson stood in front of his siblings, a newfound determination in his gaze as he listened to their strategy. Rebekah, though supportive, was skeptical, eyeing Kol warily as he voiced his intentions.
“You’re really sure about this, Kol?” Rebekah asked, her arms crossed.
Kol smirked, a gleam in his eye, though there was a surprising gentleness in his tone. “Absolutely, Bekah. I lost her once, but I won’t make that mistake again. She’s the one.” His face softened as he thought of you, his gaze distant but filled with a quiet longing.
Klaus, ever the strategist, studied Kol with a sharp, calculating gaze. “Then go to her,” he said smoothly, a dangerous smile playing on his lips. “Make her remember why she fell for you in the first place.”
Kol took a steadying breath, his voice a murmur as if speaking directly to you, even though you were miles away, oblivious to his approach. “Here I come for you, darling.”

"you’re no good for me" "but baby, i want you, i want you, i want you"
pairings: klaus mikaelson x human fem!reader
warnings/tags: smut (18+), blood kink, blood sharing, unprotected sex (practice safe sex guys), creampie, needy klaus.
summary: you let klaus feed on you.
Tumblr media
you'd expected him to be hungry. you just hadn't realized how ravenous he was, nor what drinking blood did to him.
"f-fuck, ah— c-careful," you gasped.
your voice echoed in the empty room, and his pleasurable grunts echoed with it. it was so dark that you could barely see a thing. you winced, again, from the strange new sensations surging through your body.
"ah— c-careful, klaus, please" you squeaked, it was the only sound that could escape your throat as he clamped your shoulder in his jaw. your neck was soaked, smeared in spit and blood, a leftover gift from when he had searched for the safest spot to drink.
he'd settled on the spot between your collarbone and neck, and there his teeth had sunk in.
with his fangs pierced right down to the bone and his lips bruising your skin, he continued to carefully suck your blood out and into his mouth. it felt like heaven, warm and wet sliding down his throat. to you it was a confusing mix of pleasure and pain.
"a-ah... is—is it, okay?" you whimpered.
klaus let out a low moan in response.
you couldn't move. you were clamped in his jaw, the jaw of a predator designed to keep its prey still, and his body was pinning yours to the cold wood of the floor.
to any passerby you would have looked terrifying. his body was obscured in the dark, appearing as just a hulking, bloody shadow, merging and distorting the outline of your own form; the visage of a monster in the night, consuming the body of a frightened human.
but that wasn't how you saw it. no, you were in the thralls of absolute delight.
one of his hands were on your waist, his fingers carefully drawing you up until you were held taut beneath his body, and the other hand was feverishly groping your tits.
he had torn your dress to feed and then tore a little further, leaving your skin bare right down to your ribs. he was squeezing, stroking, his thumb desperately massaging your nipple. he wanted to hear your whimpers, your soft jolts when he overstimulated that sensitive spot.
you felt him sink down between your legs, his hardened bulge thick and round as it nudged at your bare thigh. he was softly grinding it up against your panties.
you'd never do this, never. this wasn't like you at all. but you were doing it now.
you were mewled as he dry-humped your little body.
your breath was ragged, the soft puffs of condensation from your lips turned a ghostly white by the pale light.
feeding had always been a euphoric experience for him. but now, with you, it had become a full body orgasmic experience, feeding every positive stimulus in his brain and body.
every nerve in his body was on fire in the best way. his body was pulsing, pumping. his arms were covered in goosebumps, his dark hair standing on end, and his cock was painfully erect beneath his pants.
he needed relief. he needed more.
"mmm... mmm," his muffled groans got louder as he continued to feed.
his conscious brain was fighting those deep, vampiric urges, the need to indulge in pleasure no matter the consequences, but his subconcious was primal.
if he had his way he'd drain everything, slowly, all while pumping between your legs into your pretty little cunt, but he couldn't allow that.
you were a sweet, naïve thing, you'd just let him take you up here. your whimpers were heaven, but your softness was too pure for him to fully ruin.
so he forced himself to break a part from you.
he withdrew his fangs and pulled back, revealing the purple, bruised skin of your shoulder. he licked the wound clean before forcing himself away.
"please, please, if you—if you give me your wrist, i—i'll be done, and—"
klaus paused to pant, his lips still stained red. you watched your own blood drip down his chin.
"and, if i could... have you, in another way, it may help to, calm my urges" he said, his voice husky and dark. you watched his eyes glimmer a bright gold. "may i have you?"
"yes," you instinctively blurted, he lunged forward and kissed you. his lips were hard, rough, and you could taste the metallic sting of blood on them. when he pulled back he looked overjoyed.
"good. good. come here, love," he ordered.
you jolted as he dragged your body forward. he carefully tore a hole through your dress and panties with his bare hands.
you shuddered as the cold air hit your bare and slick-coated pussy, but klaus didn't leave you bare for long.
he roughly manhandled you onto the ground before stripping out his suit, allowing his already erect cock to fall down hard on your clit. the sight caused a small, surprised noise to escape your throat, one that he relished.
he was slow, deliberately distracting you with his cock as he raised your wrist to his mouth. he kept you captivated as he carefully slid it inch by inch down your swollen clit, letting you feel every inch.
the pleasure of sinking both his teeth and his cock into you at once was enough to make him physically shake.
with a soft grunt he penetrated both.
your words were turned to gibberish as he pushed his cock in deep, until his pelvis was perfectly squished up against you. the moment your blood hit his throat he started to pump.
you were inside him, and he was inside you. on that filthy, cold floor, you were his.
he started to push his cock in tandem with his teeth.
as his fangs gently shifted beneath the skin, as his lips sucked and bruised, his fat cock gently slipped in and out of your cunt. for such a furious feeder he was a surprisingly gentle lover.
he was terrifyingly strong, that much was clear up close. he bent your thighs until they ached, his fingers digging into the soft flesh as he held you in place, and with each push you could feel the power he was holding back.
you felt him pumping, drawing out your precious blood while his cock ravaged you from inside. each delicious slip, each pulsing throb, every time you felt his cock twitching for attention against your creamy walls, it was unbearable.
you were whining, your heavy breathes producing less and less ghostly condensation. klaus was panting furiously with each thrust, his breath condensing like smoke as he huffed through his curled nose. he was lost in the pleasure, the urge, the need.
and between the tightness, the heat, the copious oozing slick squelching and pooling around his bare skin and dripping off his balls as they smacked against your ass, mixed with the sound of you whining and the fresh blood in his body, he couldn't last any longer.
with a single, muffled groan, klaus came inside of you. his blue eyes rolled back and his body began to buck, smacking your hips until they went numb.
just as he felt your hot blood filling his mouth you felt his thick seed pooling and squishing its way into your cunt, filling every available space. it started to seep out as he continued to hump your limp body, now hanging in sweat, hot pearly strings between his pelvis and your inner thighs.
he pumped inside you until he was utterly spent, his own head now hazy and light, and at last he released you. your wrist fell limp to the floor.
klaus coyly wiped his mouth on the back of his wrist before brushing your forehead. "are—are you alright?"
the relief he felt when you shakily nodded was unmatched.
"thank you," he murmured, his fingers lingering on your cheek. "you were... delicious."

To be theirs, was to be loved, and you knew that well enough. You'd been with them for centuries, and though at times, they'd be the death of you, they'd be your saviors just as often.
Tonight, you needed them, your body humming with a desire that you weren't sure you'd be able to satisfy on your own. So, you called out to all three of them, wondering who would arrive first, knowing full well, that they would all come running.
The first to arrive was Elijah, and you didn't bother to get up from the bed when he did. He smiled, taking in the sight of your naked, quivering form, and his clothes were off before you'd even managed to greet him. You let out a small gasp as his skin met yours, his hands roaming every inch of your body, his lips soon following.
Kol was the next, already undressed before he entered the room and you giggled a little at his eagerness. He didn't hesitate to climb onto the bed and kiss you, his tongue invading your mouth as Elijah kissed down your chest and stomach, his hands running along your thighs.
Klaus was the last to join, visibly annoyed that everyone got started without him. You looked over to him, batting your eyelashes innocently, and he softened, stripping his clothes and climbing into bed, his hand tangling in your hair as he pressed a kiss to your cheek.
You'd been with them long enough that you didn't have to say anything, and they each knew exactly what you wanted, what you needed. Their touches were gentle, and their mouths left goosebumps wherever they traveled.
Since Elijah was first to arrive, he was first to be inside of you, and he took his time, his cock pressing slowly into you until you were filled to the brim. Kol's mouth was on your breasts, his fingers rolling your nipple between them, while Klaus kissed along your neck and jaw.
"Such a good girl," Klaus cooed in your ear, positioning his cock near your lips.
You moaned softly, opening your mouth and letting him slide inside. It was hard not to smile around his length, his taste familiar and comforting. Elijah's pace had already quickened, his breath shaky, as his thrusts pushed you further onto Klaus.
"So gorgeous," Kol mumbled against your chest, "Our beautiful girl."
Your moans were muffled by Klaus's cock, and you could tell by the way his hand clenched around the base of your neck that he was enjoying it.
Kol reached down between you, his thumb rubbing circles on your clit, and you pulled away from Klaus and moaned, his cock twitching at the sudden absence of your mouth.
"Please," You whimpered, looking up at Elijah.
He shook his head and smiled, keeping a steady pace, not quite giving you the satisfaction that you sought. You let out a frustrated moan, and he chuckled.
"Try again," he whispered.
You pouted, your cheeks becoming warm, you knew the magic word that would have him doing anything you wanted.
"Please, daddy," you said breathlessly, and the effect was immediate, his hips stuttering, his eyes falling shut, and his grip tightening on your thighs.
"Oh, fuck," Kol murmured, "I think she broke him."
You giggled, looking up at Elijah and raising your eyebrows, knowing exactly what the effect that one word had on him. His eyes opened, and he looked down at you, smiling softly before his expression changed, his eyes darkening.
His hips moved faster, his thrusts rougher, and the pressure that was building inside of you grew, a tingling sensation running through you. Kol's thumb still teased your clit, and you could barely catch your breath between the moans that escaped you.
Klaus's cock was back in your mouth, his hips thrusting in a rhythm that matched Elijah's. The three of them had worked out a system, a perfect dance, and you couldn't help but feel so overwhelmed by the pleasure they brought you.
They could tell you were overwhelmed, your legs shaking and your eyes welling with tears, and they slowed down, their touches lighter, their voices soft.
"Are you okay, sweetheart?" Klaus asked, and you nodded.
"Too much," you mumbled.
"Nooo," they all said at once, and you laughed.
"You can do it, baby, I know you can." Kol insisted, and the others nodded in agreement.
Elijah's hips began to move again, this time at a slower pace, and his fingers tangled in your hair, gently guiding your mouth back to Klaus's cock.
"There we go, such a good girl." Klaus praised, and you whined, his words pushing you closer to the edge.
You looked up at him, your eyes wide and teary, and he smiled softly. His hands cupped your face, wiping away the tears that spilled over.
"So fucking beautiful," He mumbled, "And all ours."
"Ours," Elijah and Kol agreed, and the way their voices seemed to surround you was intoxicating.
Elijah groaned, his pace faltering slightly before he buried himself inside of you, and you moaned, the sensation of his release bringing you closer to yours.
You loved watching them come undone, the way their expressions changed and the sounds that they made, the way their hands reached for you, pulling you closer. It was all so beautiful, and you wished you could freeze time, and live in this moment forever.
You watched as Elijah pulled away, sitting back on his heels, his eyes taking in the sight of you. You didn't have much time to admire him before Kol took his place, pulling you like a ragdoll into his lap. You gasped at the feeling of his length easing into you. His hands gripped your hips tightly, and you moaned, burying your face in his shoulder.
"Our sweet little love," Kol hummed, and you couldn't stop the whimper that left you, "Such a good girl."
The feeling of him inside you, combined with his words, pushed you over the edge, and he grinned. Your body shaking in his arms as you cried out his name.
"So good, sweetheart," Kol groaned, his hand caressing your back, "Just one more, yeah? Can you do that for me, darling?"
You nodded, letting out a shaky breath, and he smiled, pulling you closer.
"Use your words, we can't have you passing out on us," Elijah said, and you giggled, they had accidentally done that to you in the past by pushing you too far, and they didn't want that happening again.
"I'll be okay, daddy," You said, looking over at him and giving him a smile, "I want more."
Kol laid back on the bed, his hands still holding your hips as he thrust upwards into you. You let out a groan, the knot in your stomach growing, and your moans became louder and more frequent.
"That's our girl," Kol cooed, his eyes watching the expressions of pleasure cross your face.
"So pretty," Klaus added, he stood on the bed beside you, his cock back in your mouth.
It was becoming too much, and you could feel tears welling in your eyes. You looked up at Klaus, blinking back the tears and trying to convey what you wanted, and he smiled down at you.
"Let go, darling," He said, his thumb caressing your cheek, "We're right here."
The moment you were given permission, you felt yourself fall apart, the knot snapping, your legs shaking as Kol continued to fuck you, pushing you further into oblivion. Elijah's hand ran gently over your back, whispering soft praises, and the feeling of his lips on your skin was grounding.
Klaus's cock twitched in your mouth, and you looked up at him, smiling innocently as you watched him come undone. You swallowed down his release, enjoying the way his head fell back, his hands clenching in your hair.
"Fucking gorgeous," Klaus breathed, letting go of you and laying down on the bed, breathing heavily.
Kol was next, and you could feel him throbbing inside of you, his thrusts sloppy, his grunts turning to moans.
"Fuckkkk," he groaned, his cum spilling inside of you.
Your body was limp, and if it weren't for Elijah, who was behind you, his arms wrapped around your waist, you'd have fallen forward onto Kol.
"We've got you, my love," Elijah whispered, kissing your neck, "Are you alright?"
"Mmhmm," you managed, your eyelids growing heavy.
Elijah lifted you off of Kol, pulling you on top of him, you rested your head on his chest, listening to the sound of his heartbeat, your body still trembling. He wrapped his arms around you, kissing the top of your head.
Klaus and Kol moved in, one on either side, each of them placing a hand on your back, a reassuring weight.
"Did you get what you needed, darling?" Klaus asked, and you hummed a quiet affirmation.
Sleep soon came, and the four of you laid together, the silence broken only by the sound of soft snores. To be shared by the three of them was bliss, and there was nothing more satisfying than to be theirs, and for them to be yours.

Tumblr media
You ran a hand through your hair as you walked back and forth, unsure of what else to do with the restless energy surging through your system as you tried to fight one of your most basic, primal urges… hunger. Your fingers drummed against your thigh as you tried to focus on anything else, find something in your brain worth occupying your mind and switching course from the visuals running through your head. Your recent transition had been a shock to everyone, and Stefan had you on a tight leash to keep you in check… and you’d been on board, at first. You never wanted to cause harm, to be the reason someone else’s life ended, but with the itch in your veins threatening to undo you completely you couldn’t really find it in you to care anymore.
You heard your door push open and your head snapped up to see Damon walking in, two glasses and a bottle in his hand with an unamused expression, “if you don’t knock it off I’m going to have to replace the floor,” he said, setting everything on the dresser before pouring two generous cups of bourbon.
“Not now, Damon,” you sighed, ignoring him entirely as your feet remained on course.
“Wanna talk about it?” he asked and you shook your head.
“Not really,” you said as he shoved a glass in your hand, his eyes telling you to drink which you did… all in one gulp and he was a little surprised as he took it to refill.
“Well, something’s gotta give,” he replied as you finished the second as quickly as the first. “At this rate the bottle will be gone in a minute and I’m not replacing original flooring.” He gripped your shoulders, halting your movements and you huffed, looking up at him.
“I’m hungry, Damon,” you said, as if it pained you to do so and he furrowed his brow.
“The freezer is full- oh,” he cut himself off, realizing that’s not what you meant as a smirk spread across his features. “You want your blood at 98.6,” he said and you rolled your eyes, pushing him off you.
“Will you cut it out?” You poured another glass, hoping at some point the alcohol would subdue your cravings but you knew that was about as likely as him leaving you alone, so you tried another angle. “I can’t… Damon, the blood bags aren’t doing it for me, I can’t think, I can’t sleep… will you please take me out?” For a moment you thought he’d say yes, revel in the opportunity to feed with abandon with someone else, but it wasn’t that easy.
“No can do, sweetheart,” he replied and your brows pinched. “I’ve got enough on my plate without you losing control and giving me more bodies to deal with.” He was right, there was too much going on and you spinning out wasn’t an option, but that didn’t make it any easier of an answer to tolerate. He gave you a once over, it wasn’t as if he didn’t want to take you out… he would have loved to, but you were new and he knew you could eventually get to where he was, one day you’d be able to feed and leave them alive with no memory of what had happened, but that day wasn’t today, you had a long way to go and he couldn’t afford to have you slip up.
But… he couldn’t afford to have you slip up. One look told him you were wound tight, the diet Stefan had you on was restrictive, never enough to fully satisfy, and the less you drank the tighter you spun, threatening a catastrophic snap he could only assume was looming on the horizon with how frustrated you looked right now. He ran through his options, knowing letting you sit in this hunger any longer would result in a much bigger problem, but the only thing he could think of posed another set of issues and would lead to him teetering on the edge instead of you.
He let out a sigh, closing the distance between you and plucking the glass from your hands to discard on the dresser and you looked up at him questioningly, the invasion of space catching you by surprise. His normally bright eyes were dark and swimming with something you couldn’t understand, deep blue pools you found yourself getting lost in as you waited for him to say something. “You need to feed,” he said and your eyes fluttered shut just at the thought.
“I need to feed,” you whispered and he nodded, catching your chin between his fingers and forcing your head back up when you tried to look down and the action had your breath catching somewhere in your throat.
“You still haven’t felt it, have you?” he asked, voice low and you shuddered. “What it’s like to sink your teeth into something…” you shook your head, Stefan hadn’t allowed you to drink anything that didn’t come from a cup. “Poor thing,” he chuckled, he could feel the tension radiating off you in waves, you were practically shaking beneath him as you fought to retain your grip on your sanity, on your control.
“Damon,” you sighed, eyes pleading and he just smiled as he gripped your hand and brought it up to his neck, the pulse beneath your fingers driving you wild.
“When you feed you have to be careful… if you bite just along here,” he said, dragging your fingers along the vein, “you can control the flow. It doesn’t have to be messy,” he explained and you couldn’t tear your eyes away from the subtle way his skin moved with each beat of his heart, the sight bringing the veins beneath your eyes to the surface, your fangs descending.
“Don’t fight it,” he said, noticing you trying to rein it in, and you were having a hard time focusing on anything with the way his hands were trailing up your arms, pulling you closer. “Go on,” he tilted his head just slightly, “give it a try.” he encouraged and this pulled your focus, eyes snapping to his as you tried to ascertain if he was being serious. You had a lot left to learn, but blood sharing was personal, and you knew that… but all you saw in those dark blue eyes was a fire simmering beneath the surface you were sure was a mirror image of your own.
You slowly reached onto your tiptoes, as if he were a deer in the woods threatening to startle and bolt, but the closer you got the harder it was to resist, anticipation burning through your veins at the prospect of giving in. Your fangs were tentative as they broke the skin just where he’d indicated, but the first drop of blood immediately made you feel dizzy and intoxicated… It wasn't enough. You quickly grew feverish, your hand wrapping around his throat as you surged forward, crashing into the wall behind you and he let out a grunt as his back collided with the hard surface, pinned in place as you fed.
“There you go… that’s it,” he said, leaning back as he relaxed and let you take what you needed. His arm snaked around your waist while a hand brushed the hair from your face, cradling the back of your head as warm blood radiated through your body. A soft groan fell from his lips as you drank from him, and the sound elicited an unexpected reaction from you, your hand tightening around his throat and your body pushing flush against his and despite everything in you telling you to continue, you forced yourself back knowing if you didn’t stop you’d bleed him dry.
Your eyes were wild and satisfied as they met his, and he dragged his thumb across your bottom lip, collecting the remnants and you were almost surprised when your lips wrapped around him, ensuring you didn’t waste a single drop. His smirk returned when he felt your tongue slide across his skin, “better?” he asked and you nodded, keeping him in your mouth for maybe a second longer than you needed to. The air was charged between you, you’d just crossed a line in the sand and you wanted to push a little further, go a little farther…
Part of him knew he should put an end to this… stop before it went any further. He knew it before he’d even offered up a vein for you, he knew as soon as he did he’d be teetering on this ledge and he didn’t have that much self control when it came to you. Perhaps, if he really analyzed the situation, he knew somewhere in the back of his mind why you’d been so worked up, he knew what you needed and instead of letting you wreak havoc on the blood cooler he let you push him against a wall and take what you wanted, he let you feed from him in the most intimate way he could think of.
And when you were looking up at him like that, eyes mischievous and holding an unspoken challenge with his blood still on your plump lips, who was he to resist? Your chest was heaving with anticipation as you waited for him to do something, anything, and the movement was so fast you almost didn’t register his hand curling around your throat, flipping you around and slamming you against the wall with such force you were sure you’d be dead if you were human. Your gasp of surprise was swallowed by his mouth on yours, searing and frenzied as he connected your lips and kissed you with a hunger that rivaled your own only moments ago.
You both fought for dominance, neither one of you willing to submit just yet but you were outmatched… he grabbed your wandering hands and pinned them above your head, grip so tight you whined as he kissed down your neck, biting into you the same way you’d done with him and you couldn’t help the moan that fell from your lips as he did. Your hips rolled forward and feeling his hardening length against you gave you the surge of confidence you needed to break your hands free, sliding down his chest to pull his shirt apart, buttons flying and clattering against the floor as you pushed the fabric over his shoulders.
His lips were greedy across the expanse of your chest as he nipped and sucked the soft skin, tearing your shirt to shreds as he pulled it from you, a mess of fabric in your wake as you surged forward and pushed him into the wall opposite you, regaining your upper hand. Glass shattered on the floor around you as the force rattled the dresser but you couldn’t find it in you to care what had broken as your hands pulled his belt free, fingers quickly undoing the button as you sank to the floor and pulled his jeans with you.
His length stood erect in front of you and you were quick to take him in your mouth, focusing your tongue on his swollen tip as your hand worked what didn’t fit, and you couldn’t help but moan around him at the groan that fell from his lips, “such a good girl,” he cooed, his sweet words undercut by the harsh hand in your hair gripping and pulling you closer, forcing you to gag around him and the sensation had his head falling back against the wall. Tears sprung to your eyes at the sharp pain in your scalp and the way he was hitting the back of your throat, but all you could focus on was the throbbing between your thighs and he didn’t miss the way you clenched them together, desperate for friction.
You were quickly on your back, too caught up in the moment to bother moving to the bed and you pushed glass aside as he settled between your legs, tearing your underwear off and diving in like a man starved and you could feel his smirk against you at your surprised moan, head hitting the floor as your back arched in pleasure. He switched between your clit and your entrance, not giving either attention long enough to give you what you really needed, and you whined as your fingers threaded through his hair, tugging harshly.
“Damon, please,” you sighed, hips bucking against his face and he focused his attention on your sensitive bundle of nerves, tongue expertly working you up as you shamelessly moaned his name. Somewhere in the back of your mind you knew with the way you kept slamming each other against walls and the floor, the breaking glass, and the sounds falling from both your lips someone might come to make sure you were alright, but you couldn’t find it in you to care… not when he felt as good as he did between your legs.
Your moan changed in pitch when he slid two fingers into your entrance and it went straight to his cock, his head swimming as he watched you come close to falling apart above him. When he crooked his fingers just so your grip in his hair tightened, pulling him closer as you started to grind against him, “fuck, just like-” you were cut off by your own moan when he started massaging that spot inside you, legs trembling as you careened off the ledge. His touches remained merciless as pure euphoria surged through your veins, your head cloudy as your body trembled.
“So fucking beautiful,” he muttered against you, kissing his way up your body and you tugged him closer to reconnect your lips, tongues swirling against each other as you tasted yourself on him. His hands felt greedy and possessive as they roamed over you, gripping tight enough to leave bruises that would heal before they even had a chance to form, and it was as if neither of you could get enough. You pushed forward, tugging him up with you and all but throwing him onto the bed and his smirk was devilish as he watched you crawl on top of him.
He looked like he was about to say something but you didn’t give him the opportunity as you kissed him, rough and demanding as your hips settled above his, hand reaching between you to line him up at your entrance and you both let out groans as you took him inch by inch. The stretch was sweet, filling you almost to your breaking point as you settled fully and started to roll your hips against him, shuddering at the feeling.
“Fuck,” he moaned as you started to bounce up and down, setting an unforgiving pace and you felt like you could feel him everywhere, every nerve ending radiating with fire. He sat up to wrap his arms around you, hips bucking to meet yours in a way that had your head rolling back and he took the opportunity to sink his teeth into your neck and you had never felt pleasure like this before. His hand was firm around your throat as your body shook with each thrust and soon you were boneless in his lap, only able to hold yourself upright as he drank you in.
When he pulled back you licked along his lips, face changing at the taste of blood and he swore he’d never seen anything sexier. Neither of you was going to last much longer, not like this, and he delivered a rough smack to your ass that had you whining and rolling against him. “Oh my god,” you breathed out, letting your forehead fall against his and he smacked again, gripping the tender skin, “Damon-” you tried, but nothing would come out.
“What’s that, sweetheart?” he teased, gripping your hair and pulling you back to look at him, “oh, look at you… all cock drunk and fucked out,” he teased and you had nothing to say as a firm thrust had you seeing stars. You buried your face in his neck, fangs sinking into his skin as you felt your release barreling towards you, the mixture of blood and his steady thrusts too much to bear and a streak of red trailed down your body as you came, only able to shout his name as you cried out.
Your grip on him was maddening, pulling him right over the edge with you as you milked him for everything he had, and when you both slowed to a stop you were having a hard time catching your breath, your mind floating somewhere above you as you tried to return to your body. You felt his tongue along your chest, cleaning up your mess as you leaned back and he tried to commit the sight to memory… your hair wild, cheeks flushed, and skin dewy as blood lingered along your skin.
You still weren’t fully with him, stuck in a haze as you felt him whisk you into his bedroom, and into the bathroom and it wasn’t until you were under the stream of water with him that you hummed contently against his lips as he kissed you softly, “there she is,” he chuckled.
His hands were delicate as they roamed you, and yours slid down the front of his chest as you looked up at him, doe eyed and happy. “That was…” you trailed off, unsure of what word to use to fully sum it up and he placed another soft kiss on your lips.
“Everything you ever dreamed of?” he provided and you laughed as you swatted his chest.
“Hush,” you replied, feigning annoyance but you didn’t have it in you to feel anything other than bliss. The rest of your shower was spent with wandering hands and sweet kisses, a stark contrast to how rough and domineering you’d been with each other and when he pulled you into bed and wrapped himself around you, you looked up at him as your fingers trailed along his chest absentmindedly.
“What are you thinking about?” he asked, and you flushed slightly under his gaze.
“It was more than I dreamed of,” you answered, and he raised a brow in question. “I haven’t… I hadn’t done that since turning, I didn’t know it could be like that,” you explained and realization passed over his features.
“My god,” he chuckled, “no wonder you were wound so tight.” His hand on your back was comfortable, holding you tight against him as he rubbed soothingly, “we’ll go on a little trip this weekend,” he said as you rested your head on his chest.
“A trip?”
You felt him nod, “away from all the chaos here… we’ll find you some warm bodies and I’ll teach you how to do it the right way, you don’t have to live a life of blood bags forever.”
“I don’t know, you seemed to do the trick,” you teased and he laughed.
“Sweetheart, you have no idea what you’re missing.”

heyy how are you! i have this idea that wont leave my head, the reader is scared of love and runs away from it and keeps pushing anyone that tries anything away, but klaus does everything to prove to her that his intentions are pure, and after he does with a little while, she find out about him being a hybrid (maybe she gets really scared) and he has to grovel his way into her life
Mendable Inside Your Ribs
Tumblr media
Y/n, all her life, had reached for love and then felt her white-knuckled dying grip on it slip. Then suddenly, Klaus comes in her life looking like the light at the end of the tunnel – and maybe, just maybe, their monsters have more in common than they originally thought.
Warnings - Mentions of animalistic urges, monstrosity, blood, wounds and bruises but it's all in a metamorphic manner (well, except for the blood)
Word Count - 3.2k
Masterlist | please reblog the fic if you like it!
Finally, Anon, I'm posting your request! I'm so sorry I took so long, but I truly hope that you find the wait worth it once you're done reading this! I could've written this in an entirely different and simpler manner, but I was already half-way through it already written it in a poetic/metamorphic way, so I hope you guys still enjoy it for I am quite proud <3 Please do tell me if you do!
Tumblr media
Y/n, all her life, had reached for love and then felt her white-knuckled dying grip on it slip. So many times had it happened that now she was found sat with her hair tangled, dried blood and dirt on her face and inside her nails with crooked teeth, clawing at her own skin sitting in a corner, rocking herself back and forth to comfort herself as she saw love creeping towards her with a smile so sinister that it could make shivers run down the devil’s spine.
From her parents shaming her for wanting something so simple as love, to her romantic partners who’d always stumble a couple steps back upon realising just how hungry she was for love – how animalistic she could get just for an ounce of it.
All of it turned her into a person as cold as a tombstone standing over a dead person’s grave, unfeeling and unmoving.
But when she would feel, it felt like her own heart was pushing her head under the water, holding her in there until she had only one more breath left in her. It made her want to snarl and to hiss, to bite and to claw at the person who made her heart leap out of her chest.
Which would then make her turn and run the other way as fast as her feet could carry her, back to the corner where she belonged. Sometimes she would raise her head and look at the walls inside of her, reading the numbers she had madly tally-marked on them to keep track of just how many days she had kept herself chained there. And somewhere along the passing time, she’d begun defeatedly losing count.
Yet as she sat in that very corner and raised her head this time, she saw something bright. Almost like a light at the end of the tunnel. So she’d gotten forward on her hands and moved on her knees, curiosity pulling her forward until she reached the border which she’d have to cross to get to the other side.
And that’s when she saw him standing there – Klaus Mikaelson. Smiling down upon her like she was the cutest lamb he’d ever come across, instead of falling backwards because he actually saw the love-hungry animal that she was.
So, she had taken it upon herself to back off, and ran away from him. But horror crept over her and held her tight when she saw that he had followed her back inside, back to her corner where she resided.
“Love,” she heard him whisper as he brought his open hands in front of him, wanting her to place her own calloused ones in them and come with him.
But she never did, always turning away with a growl so that he’d leave. But every time she’d look his way to check if he’d finally left, she’d find him still standing there, with that same smile and those same open arms.
“Go away, Klaus,” she said coldly, looking away so her dead eyes wouldn’t have to witness hurt flash through his starry eyes.
He wanted nothing more than for her to see herself the way he saw her. Wanted for her to know that he was the one who’s undeserving of her love, actually. He was the animal here, not her.
But she profusely denied all of his pleas and begs, holding herself strictly uptight so that she wouldn’t fall into pieces upon him and crush him under the weight of all her grief, anger and tragedy.
He just couldn't seem to get through to her, no matter how hard he tried. So he just decided to remain persistent, and show her how truly pure his intentions are via small acts. Like buying her gifts that he knew would matter to her, such as those small plants that never grow, or random postcards that he knew she put up on her walls, or books that he’d annotated for her to get her to take a glimpse into the way he saw her.
But sometimes, those acts got rather intimate. Like that time he brushed her hair for her for a week long when she had broken her wrist, or that night when he took her feet in his lap to massage them gently after she’d given her best performance on stage. Hell he’d even gone as far as to cook for her on especially hard nights so that he could feed her his love.
And maybe he was just growing delusional now, but he was beginning to feel like she was taking down her walls around him brick by brick. She no longer glared at him with those ice cold eyes when he would enter into a close proximity to her, nor did she sneer at him to go away.
Instead, he saw her eyes grow a little wider when he’d enter the same room as her, the dead stare tucking itself away for other people as some life took a dive in her eyes. And he heard a lullaby in her voice when she’d greet him back, her body turned towards him and eyes on him to give him all of her attention.
That’s how he knew that he had brought her away from that corner and back to the very border, again. And he also knew that he now had to tread carefully so that she wouldn’t go back, tumbling away from him.
And Klaus didn’t know if the Salvatore brothers telling her all about the supernatural world, about who The Klaus Mikaelson was, was his fault or not.
But what he did blame himself for, was for lowering his guard when he’d brought her just one step away from crossing the border and loosened his grip on her because the moment she was told about his past, not only did she go fumbling back but she also left crescent moons dug in his shoulders from when she’d been shaking him, sobbing loudly and crying out for him to tell her that all of it wasn’t true.
But Klaus couldn’t lie to her, so he’d stood frozen with tears spilling from his eyes as she ran back to her corner, tally-marking another day after so long that her eyes had taken a moment to adjust to the darkness that surrounded her again, this time, more like an evilly laughing capturer instead of holding her in it’s arms like a pitiful mother.
Y/n awoke this morning with her eyes puffed up, it happened every time she went to sleep exhausted out of her mind. And as the flashes of last night began reeling through her mind again, her eyes grew moist and her vision grew blurry while she climbed down the stairs to go into the kitchen.
Grabbing a glass of water she chugged it down, leaning over the sink and mumbling to herself that everything was fine, that she was fine. Her eyes remained shut but tears slipped out regardless, sniffling sounds echoing through her house as she tried not to retain any of the information that had been dumped on her.
“He’s a …hybrid,” Stefan had said, looking at her through his lashes like he was talking to a child about how tooth fairies aren’t real.
“And what’s that?” She asked, a feeling in her gut telling her that it was, in no way, a sweet creature.
“He’s half vampire, and half werewolf,” Damon finished saying behind her.
Breath was knocked out of her lungs at that. She’d always had her suspicions about some certain people surrounding her, like Stefan and Damon themselves, but never once had she felt anything remotely scary when Klaus would stand in front of her.
Perhaps it was because of his big starry eyes, and those unruly blonde curls that he kept trimmed for some reason. Or those dimples that would shy away from her gaze and that mouth which would always stretch into a smile upon her sight. Or, those hands that held her so gingerly, and those feet that held the weight of her body as he carried her home.
And maybe it was the fact that he’d never once told her about this himself, that hurt the worse. He had lied to her, or kept the truth from her, dare she say to defend his honour. But it felt like a punch square in the chest when she learned about the blood that stained his hands, his clothes, his face and his mouth.
Despite that horrifying revelation, she had run straight to his home and shouted at him to come outside. And the moment he had, she was pushing and shoving at him, putting her hands on his shoulders and shaking him, crying – “tell me they are lying! Tell me that you aren’t what they say you are, that you have no blood on your hands!”
“Tell me!” She had broken down, resting her head on his chest as she let out the sobs.
“Tell me this wasn’t your intention!” She shook him again and Klaus had opened his mouth to agree with her, but she had fallen to her knees then, looking up at him with tears staining her cheeks and blood swirling in her eyes.
“Please don’t take me home,” she had told him despite the hot tears streaming down her face and fog settling in her mind. “I can never go home now,” she whispered, scared.
Home was something that was supposed to be a constant in one's life, that one returned to every single day. And there hadn’t been anything like that for her until Klaus. And now that the shelter of his frame had been uprooted and thrown away, cold rain scraped at her skin all over again as she scrambled around to find her corner to go back to.
She didn’t want that corner to be her home but time and time again, it was proven to her that it was – whether she liked that or not.
Taking deep breaths to gather herself, Y/n went back up to her room to get ready for the day – knowing that all she was going to do was read and write and water her dying plants and maybe bake some biscuits that she was never going to get Klaus to taste now.
And just as she came back to make her first cup of tea, she heard a hissing sound and turned to see a paper that had been folded into half. It had been slipped in through the crack underneath the door.
She picked it up and opened it, immediately recognising Klaus’ handwriting.
Y/n,
I know I’ve wounded you deeply by keeping who I truly am from you. But spending so much time with you, I’d somehow mistaken myself to be just the Klaus Mikaelson that you saw. I'm the one who’s wrong at that part, forgive me for it. I never meant to lie to you, perhaps, I was waiting for the right time. But it’s never the right time, is it? I’ve learned that now.
And while I’m sure the brothers told you enough, I’d still like to introduce myself to you all over again. This time, by laying all my defences down. I should’ve said it then and there, but something came over me and I couldn’t form words. But I hope you’d believe me when I tell you that hurting you was not my intention – it’s something far far away from what I truly do intend.
My family is hosting a traditional ball tonight. Please save this sick lover of yours a dance. And, you need not fret for I have brought you a dress, come outside?
Yours truly,
Klaus
A deep weight rested itself on top of Y/n’s chest as she slowly walked towards her door, and opened it. She’d been expecting to see Klaus, but instead there was a box on her porch with a silk bow resting on top of it. She sat down and brought it to her lap, opening it to reveal a blue dress, folded neatly inside the box.
She knew she was going – there was no doubt about that. But what did gnaw at her, was the chance of what would happen when she’d get there. She wanted to accept the feeling that told her he wouldn't hurt her. And yet, a tremor coursed through her body as she sat and sipped on her tea, waiting for the evening to roll around.
She wanted for him to unleash himself and show her who he truly is, so that she can love him for him. She didn’t want to fall in love with just his bruised upper skin – no. She wanted to get to know him, inside and out. Wanted to know what his guts found intimidating and what his soul found peaceful.
But if he wasn’t going to show her that, then nothing could ever make her clean herself up and rid herself of all the wounds that had been inflicted upon her, so that she doesn’t bleed on him from the cut that he didn’t inflict. She had a feelling that maybe, just maybe – there monsters had more in common than they thought they had.
There must be a reason behind the blood tainting his skin, perhaps, it was thrust upon him for all she knew! Maybe he didn’t want to be the monster that he had been turned into.
And if that’s true, Y/n wondered if she would still want to unravel him if it turned out that he was just a monster that had no other driving force apart from some personal fun.
So she dressed herself up for the night. Prepared to listen to him and ask him questions if he wouldn’t have answered them already in his explanation.
Entering the mansion that she always ran far away from, Y/n took a huge breath before wandering her eyes around to search for the one and only. And It didn’t take long before their eyes locked, with him already looking at her with rather guilty eyes and a relieved smile for she had shown up.
Walking to her, Klaus took in a shaky breath as he fixed his suite. He was nervous, hell, scared even. Honestly, terrified that tonight might be the final time he would see her and the final memory he’d have of her would be of her sprinting away from him for she couldn’t bear the sight of the ugly monster he had ended up growing into.
“You came,” Klaus smiled, looking at her with those same starry eyes except tonight they were shining because of the sheen layer of tears glossing them up.
“You asked me to,” she shrugged faintly, her mouth cold to sight but her eyes were big and almost smiling up at him.
With her hand still in his’ from when he had bent down to kiss the back of it, Klaus walked her over to the vacant balcony – nothing to witness the tragedy but the sky that had itself gotten dressed in its best constellations and ornament, the moon.
Klaus wanted to believe his heart when it told him that she would listen to him and try to love him, but his head’s juxtaposition was not gentle. It prepared him for the worst, reminding him of how no one had ever loved him before, and no one would now. For all that was true, he had only gotten worse over time.
“To hurt you, was never my intention,” he whispered, his big eyes looking into hers.
“It is true that I am a Hybrid – a vampire and a werewolf. It is also true that I’m covered in blood from head to toe, from my bones to my skin, I am drenched in it.”
His legs were growing jittery and breathing was becoming harder to do than it should be. But his hold on her hand only tightened, tears collecting on his bottom lash line.
“It is true that I am a monster. One with a heart that doesn’t beat and a soul that feasts upon the love it never gets,” with his free hand, Klaus wiped the tear as it slipped down the slope of his cheek.
She only stood still in front of him, urging him with her eyes to go on. Her own breathing ragged as she began seeing him and listening to him
“But I need you to know, before you leave tonight,” his voice shook as he stole his eyes from hers for a second to gain back his courage, as all of it had been spent the moment he mentioned her inevitable departure. “That I would never hurt you, I never can, hurt you,” he assured her, searching her eyes for anything.
“I truly am in love with you. And I will take forever to show you that if that’s what you’ll ask of me,” bringing her hand to his chest, he rested it there. “I want you to lay yourself bare in front of me so that I can show you that even your ugliest is loved by me,” he whispered.
“Say something, please,” he almost cried, his voice cracked, not having anticipated her departure to come so soon.
“I –,” Y/n began, her voice hoarse due to not having used it for so long. “I think I can love you, Klaus,” she uttered, looking away from his eyes, fearing that he was going to deny her heart upon realising just how ugly and bruised and beaten it is.
Upon the realisation that sure, her insides are a million colours – but they are all shades of blue.
And when the deafening silence got too much for her to bear, she turned away from him to make a run back home.
But her hand felt to have gotten caught in something and she was pulled right back, into a hard and vulnerable chest as her mouth felt something soft press itself hardly against it.
Klaus’ mouth.
His mouth was on hers and one of his hands was curled against the back of her neck while the other cradled her face with force.
Everything inside of her erupted into flames as she tilted her face to better mould it against his’, and fisted the curls on the nape of his neck, pushing him further into her while bending her back to accept the force.
“Say it again,” he breathed, breaking the kiss and resting his forehead on hers, his tears slipping from his eyes and falling onto her cheeks.
“I think,” she exhaled sharply, trying to catch her breath while her eyes remained stuck on his mouth. “I think I can love you,” she confessed again, instantly moving her lips in sync with his’ as he kissed her desperately, finally.
“My heart – it is shabby and broken but it’s already yours,” she choked out. “And it’s only mendable inside your ribs,” her shoulders shook as she cried, now fisting the shirt of his collar to keep him close to her.
“My love, your heart – it, it is safe with me,” he breathed with her, trying to calm his racing heart down. “And my heart will forever beat on your command,” sniffling, he tucked her hair behind her ear, gently lifting her face to seal his confession by breathing in her breath and letting her take away his’ as he pressed his mouth against hers, once again.

Y/n, over text: Turn around.
Y/n: No, the other way.
Y/n: Wrong way again.
Damon: Where are you??
Y/n: At home, but the idea of you turning aimlessly in circles amuses me.

Wolf Bite
Klaus Mikaelson x Reader
Summary: During a fight between your friends and Klaus and his hybrids, you get bit. A certain someone appears later to help heal your wounds and complicate your feelings. Reader uses she/her pronouns.
Warnings: Violence, fluff
Word Count: 4850
Part 2
A/N: I have been obsessing over Klaus lately and thought I would share this passion with you guys. I haven’t seen TVD or TO in a while so I apologize if I get anything wrong about the lore. It doesn’t follow any canon plot, just inspired by Klaus healing Caroline’s bite.
Tumblr media
You’re leaning against a wall in the Salvatore brothers’ house as the rest of your friends talk about their newest plan to threaten Klaus and his family. The idea seems foolish to you, but you know better than to voice your opinion. Ever since the Mikaelson clan moved to town, being a vampire has gotten a lot more complicated. You’re suddenly not so immortal when there’s a whole group of people out to get you and your friends.
You’ve also started to notice a shift in the group as Elena now has feelings for both Salvatores. You’re well aware that your presence has slowly started to go unnoticed and yet here you are again. You watch as the group argues about how to lure Klaus and co. to the woods where you’ll meet him.
“What if we send someone to his house to deliver the message?” Elena suggests. But Stefan shakes his head.
“No, it’s too risky,” he says.
“Not if we send someone with a white oak stake for protection,” Caroline says.
“That would ruin the plan,” Bonnie says. There’s a silence as the group thinks of a new idea. Until Damon speaks.
“What if we get Y/N to call him?” Damon says, looking at you for the first time today. Your eyes widen as the rest of the group now looks at you. As if they weren’t just ignoring you.
“What? N-no way,” you say, not prepared to be put on the spot.
“Come on, he’s clearly shown an interest in you. Now’s the time to use that,” he argues. It’s true. Ever since you first met, Klaus seems to have taken a liking to you. But you think the group’s making it a bigger deal than it is. You think he just does it as a way to annoy the group. Though why he chose you instead of someone like Caroline or Bonnie, you’ll never know.
“I don’t want to do that,” you say, not wanting to explain exactly why. You’re not even quite sure yourself. “Besides, it probably won’t work. I mean, I don’t even have his phone number.”
“Oh right,” Damon says, furrowing his eyebrows as you throw a retch in his plan.
“You could deliver the message in person,” Caroline suggests. Your jaw almost drops.
“Wait, so it’s too risky if someone else goes to the house, but not me?”
“Come on, he won’t hurt you,” Damon says. You’re beginning to think being a wallflower was the better option.
“We all have to help, Y/N,” Elena says. You choke on your words as you look around, seeing no one objecting to this plan.
“Wait, you guys my message spell!” Bonnie exclaims. Everyone turns to her and you are relieved to be out of the spotlight as you lean back against the wall. “I need paper, something to write with, and something of Klaus’s.”
Though you are currently mad at all of them, you decide you’re mad at Bonnie the least so you open your bag. You’re able to scrounge up the materials, even something of Klaus’s (you didn’t ask). With the necessary ingredients, Bonnie performs her spell and the written note lights on fire before quickly disintegrating. She opens her eyes.
“That should do it,” she says.
“We should go,” Elena says and everyone agrees.
†††
The group is waiting in the woods for Klaus to appear, as is expressed in the letter. Another argument broke out on the way here as to who will get the white oak stake as you only brought one to threaten Klaus with. The group didn’t want to risk any of the other stakes. In the end, Damon won the argument as he reminded Stefan his responsibility was to look out for Elena, which she did not like. The rest of you are armed with regular stakes just in case anything happens.
“When is he going to get here?” Caroline says, though no one answers as no one knows. “I mean, how can he even find us? We’re in the middle of the woods!”
“He can probably track us by seeking out Elena’s blood,” Damon says which angers Elena. Sometimes you feel bad for her being the only human amongst the group (other than Matt), and other times you envy her for it.
When the group is about ready to give up, you hear something coming. The other vampires can hear it too and you ready yourselves. Soon enough, Klaus stands before you with a smile on his face. “Well, well, isn’t this a nice surprise? I hadn’t realized we were pen pals,” the Original says. His eyes rake over the group and he perks up when he spots you. “Hello love.”
The others glance at you and, panicked to be on the spot again, you say, “Uh, hi,” with a small and awkward wave.
This causes Klaus’ smile to grow wider and seemingly more genuine, and you try to suppress the urge to blush. Although you don’t think your friends were pleased by that interaction.
“I assume you know why you’re here,” Stefan says, bringing Klaus’ attention back to the group.
“Ah yes, the cryptic message,” Klaus says. “So, what is it that I must see? Truly, I’m dying to know.” You see Damon smirk.
“I wouldn’t act so cocky,” he says.
“Oh, and why’s that?” Klaus says with an entertained look on his face. His face changes, however, when Damon reveals the white oak stake. His cocky attitude shifts quickly to fear and anger. “Where did you get that?” he growls.
“Well it turns out when your sister burned down that bridge, she didn’t realize that other things were made from your precious oak tree,” Damon taunts. He’s exaggerating, of course, as there was only one other thing made from the tree. But Klaus still looks fearful.
“So what? You really think you can kill me with one stake?”
“We don’t intend to kill you. At least not now anyway,” Caroline says.
“We called you here as a threat. To tell you to leave Mystic Falls or else,” Stefan says with a calm smile on his face.
“Oh, and this isn’t the only stake. We wouldn’t risk bringing all of them with us just for you to break them,” Elena says.
“You’re bluffing,” Klaus sneers.
“Care to find out?” Damon asks. You can practically feel the steam of anger rolling off Klaus.
“How dare you threaten me,” Klaus says, his blue-green eyes turning a deadly shade of yellow.
“What are you going to do about it?” Damon says with a taunting smirk. Klaus’ face shifts and he smirks back.
“Why I’m so glad you asked,” he says. He then lets out a whistle and some of his hybrids emerge from the woods. You widen your gaze as you hold out your weapon, trying to assess the situation. The hybrids move in closer, and you can see the others preparing themselves. “Now, let’s try this again. Hand over the stake, and no one gets hurt.”
You thought the answer would be obvious. Sure, Klaus might be bluffing but you can’t kill that many hybrids. And what’s one lost stake anyway? However, you seemed to be the only one thinking that.
“No thanks,” Damon says. You look at him incredulously.
“I was hoping you’d say that,” Klaus says. As soon as Klaus advances, his hybrids pounce and the group is thrown into an attack. Your weapons will only slow the hybrids down, but your best hope is to get the upper hand and snap their necks to incapacitate them.
Damon and Klaus immediately face off. The rest of you prepare to face the small army of hybrids while Stefan protects Elena. One of the hybrids locks onto you and hisses before attacking you. You instantly try to hold the hybrid off and stab her, but you can feel her overpowering you in strength.
Still, you rely on your moves in combat to avoid any major injuries or worse, her bite. You manage to get the upper hand and stab her through the stomach, and while she’s slowed down, you move to behind her back and snap her neck, knocking her out for a good while.
You’re trying to catch your breath when you sense another hybrid coming at you too late. He pounces on you and you slam into the ground with him on top of you. You’re caught off guard and without your stake. When you try to move to fight back, the hybrid digs his teeth into your shoulder. A short scream rips through you, powered both by panic and pain.
Meanwhile, Klaus is fighting Damon when he hears the scream. He looks your way as he feared it was you, and the scene causes his eyes to widen. With a newfound urgency, Klaus faces Damon and quickly finds a way to snap his neck.
As you’re panicking from the bite, you feel the hybrid being pulled off of you and you see Klaus with a furious expression. The hybrid is very confused by his sire’s anger. You think you hear Klaus growl, “Not her,” before snapping their neck.
You’re shocked at what just happened all at once and remain on the ground, sitting up with wide eyes looking at Klaus. He looks away from the hybrid to meet your gaze and his eyes instantly soften. He looks concerned, though you’re not sure why. He makes a move to walk toward you but before you can say anything, Caroline rushes over to you.
She quickly puts herself between Klaus and you. “Stay away from her,” she hisses at him. Klaus’ expression shifts back to anger, and before you can explain to Caroline what’s going on, Klaus’s gaze flick from her to you and then he sprints away. Not just away from you, but he leaves the forest. The hybrids that haven’t been incapacitated follow.
You look after him, longing to talk to him and figure out why he saved you, when Caroline’s face comes into view. “Are you okay?” she asks while helping to pull you off the ground. You nod and you guess that’s enough for her because she walks towards the rest of the group.
You’re a bit stunned as Klaus seemed to show more compassion than your friend, but you merely shake off the exchange. From the woods, the group heads back to the Salvatore’s place. You trail behind them, your mind racing as you’re overly aware of the fact that a werewolf bit you. Not just a werewolf, but a hybrid. You haven’t told your friends about it because you don’t want to be a bother to them as that’s all you feel like you are these days.
On the way back, your mind wanders to the one person that seems to be on everyone’s minds these days. Klaus. You don’t know why he saved you, even from his own hybrid, but you want to thank him. You know you should hate him like the others do but for some reason every time that man looks at you, your stomach erupts into butterflies.
You feel awful for how you feel, you know all the harm he’s caused to your friends and not to mention the world, but you can’t help it. It doesn’t help that he pretends to be soft on you either. You haven’t told anyone about your feelings, whatever they are, for fear of persecution but you can’t stop thinking about him.
You arrive at the Salvatore’s and the group huddles in the living room for a quick debriefing of what just went down. All the while images of Klaus and your bite flash through your mind. You look at your shoulder and you can’t see the full damage as it’s covered by your shirt but you know it’s not good.
“How are you holding up, Damon?” Caroline asks teasingly. He glares at her and rolls his neck.
“Doing just great thanks,” he says.
“What the hell even happened?” Elena asks. “I mean, why did they just leave?”
“All I know is, one minute I’m holding my own against Klaus--” Damon says and to this you hold back rolling your eyes. Klaus must’ve been going easy on him, toying with him. “--and then he gets this raged look on his face and boom, lights out.”
“He went to Y/N,” Caroline says causing all of their eyes to stare at you again. You bite back your annoyance at her for bringing that on you.
“What happened?” Stefan asks while the rest of the group waits. The image of Klaus looking at you causes your face to heat up and you struggle to come up with a lie. You don’t want to tell them the truth when you yourself haven’t even gotten to the bottom of it.
“I-I don’t know,” you say. They still stare at you. “Maybe he was mad at me for harming his hybrids.”
“There were two knocked-out hybrids beside her,” Caroline adds. The group looks at you with a mix of shock and amazement.
“You knocked out two of them?” Damon asks with surprise and slight amusement. You don’t want to outwardly lie so you just kind of nod.
“And then he just left,” you say.
“It still doesn’t make sense. I mean, why target you specifically?” Bonnie asks.
“Maybe he’s miffed his lover betrayed him,” Damon says and your face turns beat red.
“W-What?! I am not his—” you burst out in surprise until someone cuts you off. No one even looks your way.
“Or maybe he’s planning something,” Elena suggests. The rest of them start diving into conspiracies but your mind is elsewhere. You suddenly feel drawn to look at your bite. The more you look at it, the more it’s like you can feel the venom pumping through your veins. Your heartbeat is suddenly too loud and you feel like you can’t breathe.
You don’t know if it has something to do with the venom or just your overall panic, but all of a sudden, the world goes black.
†††
Your eyes slowly open and your vision is blurry at first. Figures stand over you and after blinking a few times, you recognize your friends.
“She’s awake,” Elena says, as if everyone isn’t seeing it for themselves. You realize you’re lying on the Salvatore’s couch. You wonder how long you blacked out for.
“What the hell Y/N?!” Caroline instantly yells at you. You flinch at her volume but she doesn’t seem to notice. “Why didn’t you tell us you got bit?”
At the reminder, you look back at the bite only to see that its gotten worse. You wince at the sight of it and face the group. You guess they discovered it when you passed out.
“I don’t know, I-I thought I could handle it,” you say, not wanting to admit the real reason. Most of them roll their eyes at you.
“Of course you couldn’t handle it!” Damon says. “You should have told us.”
I didn’t know you cared. You bite your tongue to keep the words from spilling out of your mouth. “I’m sorry,” you say, losing interest in the conversation as you are now painfully aware of the venom from the bite.
“What are we going to do?” Bonnie asks. They begin to cut you out of the conversation even though they’re talking about you and you decide you can’t deal with this right now. You stand up from the couch, feeling a bit of a head rush before steadying yourself. This seems to draw their attention.
“Hey wait, where are you going?” Stefan asks, as they all look at you with bewildered expressions.
“I’m going home,” you say and start to walk away. Unfortunately, they follow.
“You can’t just go home!” Caroline exclaims, reacting as if you just said you were going to the moon.
“Watch me,” you say, your frustration getting the better of you. You try to make your way towards the door but a few steps in you stumble and Stefan speeds over to steady you.
“Okay, we’ll take you home, alright?” he says and in that moment, you’re grateful for him. He turns to the rest of the group. “We can regroup at her place and brainstorm ideas there while keeping an eye on her.” The rest of the group seems to agree with the idea. In separate cars, the group drives over to your house.
Soon you’re pulling into your driveway. They’ve all been invited in before so entering isn’t a problem. With Stefan’s help, you climb the stairs and soon find yourself in your cozy bed. You wish you could just sleep away this problem but a sudden sharp pain from the wound reminds you that isn’t possible.
“So what now?” Elena asks as the group piles into your bedroom. It feels weird and you’re slightly uncomfortable with it but you keep quiet and just get under your inviting covers.
“Maybe we can ask Klaus for help?” Bonnie suggests. At this, Damon instantly scoffs.
“Yeah that sounds like him,” Damon says.
“Maybe he’ll do it for Y/N,” Caroline says. “He does have a soft spot for her.”
“I don’t know if that’s enough for him,” Stefan interjects. “We all know what he’s after.”
“No,” Damon says. “We finally have a real weapon against those Original assholes and I’m not just going to throw it all away for—”
“Damon,” Elena hisses and nudges him in the chest before nodding over to you. Once more, all eyes are on you and you don’t know what to do. Damon looks away, maybe feeling guilty for basically saying you’re not worth it.
“Why don’t we continue this conversation downstairs?” Caroline suggests. You once again wonder why they’re talking about this situation without you but you’re too tired and hurt to care.
“We’ll be downstairs if you need anything,” Bonnie says and then the group filters out closing the door behind them.
Throughout the day a few of them check in on you every once and a while, barely giving you updates on if they’re going to find a cure. As your pain grows and the sky darkens, you start to think that maybe this is it. Maybe this is how you die. You never imagined it happening like this and your chest caves in at the thought of a final death but it’s looking more and more likely.
You’re not sure what time it is, but later in the night you hear a faint knock which sounds like it’s coming from your front door. You ignore it, not having the strength to answer it. You figure one of your friends will answer it. If they’re even home.
The knock sounds again, louder and more persistent, and you start to suspect that your friends have left. You take a deep breath as fear coils around your throat, constricting your breath. Your friends aren’t here and you’re going to die all alone before you even got to live. The knocking stops and you settle back into the silence.
Then a sound comes from your window. It sounds like…knocking? From your bed, you can’t see the outside since it’s too dark out. You wish your friends were here. Slowly, you climb out of bed and try to rally your strength in case you have to fight something or someone. As you walk over your confusion only grows.
There, perched on a branch from the tree outside your window, is Klaus Mikaelson. He gives you a wave and you hesitantly wave back. You approach the window cautiously before opening it.
“Um, can I help you?” you ask, trying to understand what you’re seeing. Hallucinations are a side effect of wolf venom, right?
“Well hello to you too, love,” he says with a cheeky smile on his face. His eyes roam over your body and his smile falters. You suddenly become aware that this is the closest you’ve ever been to the Original. You try not to let your cheeks flush.
“What are you doing here?” His smile drops entirely, noticing your serious demeanour.
“I’m here to help. Now if you could just let me in—”
“Help with what?” His face becomes grim as his eyes trail over to your shoulder. It’s now out in the open as you’ve changed into pajamas. You then remember that he must’ve seen the bite when it happened.
“Your wound, love.”
“Why…why would you want to help me with that?” you ask. Then a thought occurs. “Wait, have my friends spoken to you?”
His eyebrows furrow as he shakes his head. “No, I haven’t heard from them,” he says and though you can’t say you didn’t expect it, your heart drops at hearing it. “Wait, do they know about this?”
“Um yeah.”
He looks angry as he asks, “And where are they now?”
You look at the floor and try to keep your embarrassment inside. “I don’t know, I thought they would’ve contacted you.”
“Apparently not.” His face is still twisted in anger although you’re not quite sure why. Then he looks at you and seems to remember why he’s here. “So, can you let me in?”
The thought of having Klaus Mikaelson in your room makes your heart beat faster. And though you want to give in, to continue living your immortal life, you hesitate. “Why should I trust you?”
“What?”
“How do I know if I let you in now, it won’t come back to bite me in the ass?” you ask, your arms crossed.
Klaus doesn’t seem to understand your concern. “Love, you realize that’s a hybrid bite. I don’t think you have the time for this.”
“So you admit that you would use it later?”
His face scrunches up. “That’s not—no I wouldn’t do that—just please let me in,” he says, giving you a sincere look that threatens to break down your walls. Just as you’re about to question him more, a wave of pain washes over your body. You let out a groan as you slightly stumble back. “Y/N?” The pain grows more intense and you let out a whimper before you collapse onto your knees. “Y/N!” It’s as if your body is at war with itself and you can feel every impact of it.
“You have to let me in, just say the words and I can help you. Please!” You hear Klaus say from the window. But it’s hard to find words when the pain is so intense. You want it to stop. “Y/N!” You hear him bang his fist against the walls of your house.
You slowly lift your head up to see his worried face, desperately waiting for you to let him in. You no longer care if this will come back to haunt you. You take a few deep breaths before you say, “Come in.”
As soon as the words take effect, Klaus rushes into the house and scoops you into his arms. You clutch at his chest, not thinking of anything but the pain. He carries you over to the bed and gently places you down before quickly running over to the window to close it. The pain seems to be dwindling down but you know it’ll be back. Your whole body is so weak, you used the last of your strength to walk over and talk to Klaus.
Speaking of, he’s quickly back at your bedside, eyes furiously scanning you for signs of physical distress. Then his eyes lock on yours and you feel your breath hitch. “You have to drink my blood,” he says quietly to you.
You know that that’s the cure and that it will save you, but you’re still hesitant. This is Klaus you’re talking about. The big bad hybrid who’s been attacking your friends and causing chaos for weeks now. And yet for some reason, a part of you wants to trust him. A part of you wants to give in to the idea that he could be good. But how can you trust him when you can’t even trust your own instincts?
He must sense your hesitation, because he leans down to look into your eyes. When you look at him, you’re stuck by how truly beautiful he is. His eyes are a beautiful blue, but more than that, they hold a look of sincerity in them. “I know you don’t trust me, I wouldn’t either,” he says. “But this is what’s going to save you. So please, take a chance. What have you got to lose?”
He does have a point.
“I don’t want to die,” you admit in a small voice. Your breath stutters as you let the fear bubbling inside of you rise to the surface. Klaus’s look is sympathetic.
“I don’t want that either,” he whispers. Your eyes meet and you feel caught in them. “Let me help you.”
Maybe it’s because this is a different, more sincere side of Klaus that you’ve never seen before. Maybe it’s because your friends are gone and you’re feeling vulnerable. Maybe it’s because your instincts seem to have aligned. Either way, you nod your head.
He offers you a small smile. He then sits on the bed and gently shifts you so that you’re leaning against his chest. You’re too weak to move yourself. Klaus rolls up his sleeve and bites down on his wrist before bringing it close to your lips. You’re tempted but look at him to make sure it’s okay first. He nods and you sink your teeth into his wrist.
At first, you feel weird about the situation. But then you lean into it and begin to enjoy it. Klaus whispers encouragingly in your ear as his blood enters your body. You can feel your strength begin to return and the fog in your brain clear. You almost don’t want to stop, and the way Klaus is petting your hair doesn’t help. But eventually, you know you’ve had enough, so you pull away.
“Wasn’t so bad, eh?” Klaus says and you look up to see him smiling down at you. “Are you going to be okay?”
“I think so.”
“Then I guess my work here is done.” He moves you so you’re lying back on your bed, but when he moves to leave, you grab his arm. He looks back, confused.
“Why did you do that?” When his confusion doesn’t clear, you clarify. “Why did you help me?”
He looks down at the floor and his lip twitches into a smile. “I don’t know if you’ve noticed, love, but I quite fancy you. Wouldn’t want you dying on me before I’ve had a chance to win you over.”
His words shock you enough to let go of his arm. The strangest part is that he looks sincere about it. “But…you actually like me? Like, that wasn’t all an act?” you ask. Both of you seem to be confused by the other.
“Why would I do that?” You start to feel embarrassed.
“To—to get on the group’s nerves? To throw us off?”
“Is it so hard to believe that I might just like you?” To be honest, the thought hadn’t occurred to you. Trickery made more sense.
“Yes,” you say and then wish you didn’t. “I—I mean, why me? Why not Caroline or Bonnie?”
“Besides the fact that you’re the most gorgeous creature I’ve ever laid eyes on?” he asks and you’re suddenly glad it’s dark because your cheeks are on fire right now. “Because you’re different.” That doesn’t make you feel so great. He must have picked up on that because he catches your eye and says, “Because you’re better.” The idea makes you flustered, that anyone would think you’re better than them, let alone a powerful hybrid like Klaus.
“I still don’t understand.”
“Hmm.” He seems to think on what to say before smirking. “Then I guess I’ll have to do a better job at showing you.” When he winks at you, you think your face might be on fire from how hot it is. Once again, he turns to leave.
“Thank you,” you call out which makes him stop in his tracks. He turns around to face you and seems confused by your words. But you mean them. He didn’t have to save you, you gave him nothing in return, and yet he did.
He smiles and you think it’s much better than the fake ones he gives to the group. “Of course love,” he says. “Couldn’t have my favourite vampire dying on me.” You give him a smile back, genuinely happy to hear someone say that to you.
Then your eyelids begin to feel heavy and you have to blink rapidly to stay awake. Klaus sees this and says, “Goodnight, my love,” before opening your bedroom window.
“Goodnight,” you say back as you watch the window close. You lay back down on your bed, thankful to no longer be dying. You guess you have your new saviour to thank for that. As you close your eyes, you can’t help but see Klaus in a different light. Not as a villain, but as a complicated man. You don’t think your friends are going to like your change of heart, so for now you’ll keep it to yourself. You’ll be content in knowing that maybe the big bad hybrid isn’t so bad after all.

Klaus x autistic!reader - only one to calm you
Tumblr media
Heya, can i request an Elijah Mikaelson or klaus mikaelson x Autistic reader maybe where like the mystic falls gang are all arguing and fighting and it's all just loud and overwhelming for the reader, thank youuu - Anon💜
Standing in the park, you stood a few feet from everybody as they argued about what they were going to do.
“Uh… guys..” you mumbled.
They ignored you, and you tapped your hands against your elbow, looking around uncomfortably.
You didn’t even want to be at the meeting, but you were dragged along anyways and you didn’t want to be there anymore.
Except Bonnie was your ride back home and she was in the middle of arguing with Damon, and you tried to get her attention.
“Bonnie..” you whispered.
“We’re busy!” Damon yelled at you.
You stumbled back a few steps, and you began to slowly move back and forth, rocking in the balls of your feet.
You were trying to keep yourself calm, trying to focus on just one thing which you were finding next to impossible.
You couldn’t listen to them argue anymore, so you spun around and walked away, hoping you could just find your way back home or at least out of the park.
You couldn’t find your way towards exit of the park, and you sat down on a bench, burying your head in your hands, clutching at your hair.
A few seconds later you felt someone place their hands on yours.
“Don’t do that love, you’ll hurt yourself..”
Klaus carefully moved your hands, and he knelt down in front of you.
He held your hands in one of his, and with the other he gently placed it on the side of your face, and you looked at him.
Your eyes met his for a few seconds before you looked away.
“Would you like to go home?”
You nodded.
Klaus turned around, and you climbed on his back, resting your chin on his head, hand tapping against his chest as he walked.
He didn’t say anything, but he took you back to his car and knelt down so you could climb from his back and you get in the car.
Klaus stood by the door, looking at you.
“We’ll wait here.”
“No.. no I want to go…”
“Alright, if that’s what you want love, here.”
Klaus leant in and reached past you, handing you some headphones.
You put them on and he closed the door, getting into the drivers side.
The entire ride back he held your hand, and he took you into your apartment and sat you down again, sitting in front of you.
You held his hands, fingers tapping the back of his knuckles.
“What happened love?”
“I.. I don’t like shouting…”
“I know you don’t, who was shouting?”
“Everybody…”
Klaus nodded his head and he leant forward, pressing a kiss to your forehead he pulled back.
“Right, well you sit here, you just focus on calming down, I’ll deal with everything else.”
Klaus stood up and you quickly grabbed his wrist.
“Don’t go..”
Klaus sat down next to you, letting you rest your head on his shoulder.
He wrapped an arm around you, running his fingers up and down your arm, and you messed with the hem of his shirt.
Klaus looked at you, and he kicked his feet up on the table, wrapping both arms around you.
He could feel you relax, and you seemed a lot calmer than you were outside.
That was just the affect he had on you, something about him and only him calmed you, maybe it was his voice, or the way he held you, but he was always able to calm you down.
When you got up, he watched as you walked across the room to a beanbag.
You sat down, picking up a few things and you set them back down again.
“I don’t see why you keep meeting up with them all, clearly they couldn’t care less about you or your needs.”
“I don’t know…”
He smiled, walking over he sat next to the beanbag, resting his head in your lap and he stared up at you.
You ran your fingers through his hair, and he grinned a little up at you.
“See, this is all you need.”
“I guess so.”
Klaus grinned, and he threw your phone across the room as it began to ring.
He didn’t care about any of them, and if it weren’t for the fact it would make you sad he’d probably have beaten them all months ago for treating you the way they did

and voted the peoples princess of the month is madeline, who read all of claudias diaries which detailed the last words of all of her kills while smiling, who then offered claudia her wrist and encouraged her to try a sip, who laughed in armands face when he said she would lose everything, who complained about her last ever drink of wine while drinking it, and who has done nothing but give zero fucks and provoke and flirt with her vampire girlfriend. she definitely went to the daniel molloy school of dealing with hot vampires

dating stefan salvatore headcannon (pt 1?)
Tumblr media
needed to start my own fanfict page to scratch my own nasty, daydreaming mind because i'm rewatching my fave shows/movies n im obsessed (sorry for typos its 2am n i dont care)
warning: some nsfw shit, minors go away
he's literally the type of guy that your grandma wants you to marry
he feeds the sapiosexual bitches; conversations with him are so fucking intellectually stimulating and while he's talking about a topic/explaining it, you're just staring at him like "this man is so damn smart... I need to ride him" (lol)
has history teacher vibes/has teacher kink vibes sorry but he would def see how turned on you get while he's talking and use it to his advantage
slow mornings with stefan>>>>>>
hearing "good morning baby" as he's stretching/getting closer/putting his arm under your tits to hug you while you're still in bed😵‍💫😵‍💫
he will def love to spend alone time with you, just being in each others solitude while being in the same room reading, writing, drinking coffee or just thinking
you basically give him the opportunity to create more peace and silence in his life in between all crazy shit
because you're not in the supernatural world, he would try so fucking hard to protect you from even knowing of it. will even compel you without thinking at the beginning if you find out and would confess everything if it puts you in a life threatening situation
people will use this to their advantage but somehow he got Damon to be protective over you and you will have both of their protection
Damon can't stand how you complement each other, he feels like having two Stefans giving him advice but he mostly listens to you because you're hot to him lmao
When you first met Damon all he could do is disrespectfully flirt with you just to make Stefan mad
Stefan writing you poems, novels and dedicating journals for you in which he writes love letters (I NEED HIMMM)
he loves slow, deep, intimate makeout sessions. having you on his lap or sitting infront of him while he's holding you with one hand on the lower back and another one on the back of your head guiding you while he grips your hair not hard enough to hurt but hard enough to want him to face fuck you <3
he's dominant, he truly enjoys leading you and not just sexually, he will always be giving you non-sexual dominance like guiding you in crowded spaces, makes decisions for you if you need assistance, will be watching you/making eye contact with you if not together in the same room
he loves having you sit on his feet while your head rests on his lap and he caresses your face and plays with your hair (I NEEEED HIIIMMMMMUGHHHHH) (also this gives me Klaus/Elijah Mikaelson vibes im dead)
im so tired, but i will sleep thinking about our daddy Stefan Salvatore AMEN and i wanna write more shit PEACE

damon salvatore x shy, fem!reader
summary: amidst a bustling atmosphere, the one thing that catches damon’s eye is the silent girl
-
Damon sat down beside Alaric as he ordered bourbon. “Hello, Ric.”, he said with his signature smirk. “What do you want now?”, Alaric asked with an annoyed expression. “Can I not spend some time with my friend?”, Damon questioned as he pouted like a baby. Alaric fake laughed. “Whatever.”
Gazing around the grill, Damon’s eyes strayed over to a veer corner where he noticed you with Elena and Bonnie. He watched as you laughed along with them but you remained quiet. He couldn’t move his eyes away from you. He was captivated by you. He was curious about you. Alaric moved his hand in front of his vision to distract him. “Hello?”, he asked dramatically.
“Hello. Move your hand.”, Damon muttered with venom laced in his tone. Ric followed his eye-line and saw you. “Damon, she is far too innocent to have to suffer with the presence of Damon Salvatore.”
“Hmm, we’ll find out.”, he mumbled as he smirked to himself. He gulped down his bourbon and elegantly made his way over to your table. “Hello, ladies.”, he said as he sat in the empty seat which was fortunately next to you.
“What do you want?”, Bonnie asked protectively. “Relax. I was just wondering why I haven’t seen her around before.”, he pointed to you. Your cheeks flushed. “Umm, Damon she’s been here for like her whole life.”, Elena rolled her eyes. “You’re just too arrogant to notice her.”, she added. “What’s your name?”, he turned to look at you. You were stunned by his eyes that were the perfect shade of ocean blue and the way his eyes crinkled as he smirked at you. No man had ever looked at you in such a way. “Y/N.”, you simply answered.
“A beautiful name for a beautiful woman.”, Damon replied charmingly. “Damon, can you leave us alone now?”, Elena mumbled angrily. Bonnie nodded in agreement. You didn’t understand why they disliked Damon so much like obviously he could be very irritating but he was tolerable and he was nice to talk to.
“Well, I’d better get a move on since some people don’t want me here.”, he glared at Bonnie and Elena. He smiled at you. “Can I give you a call later?”, he asked softly. “Yeah, sure.”, you answered automatically.
It was currently six in the afternoon and your phone started buzzing. You looked at the screen and saw Damon’s contact flashing across it. You decided to pick up. “Hey, Y/N.”, he said. “Hi.”
“Would you like to go to the grill with me? I’m bored and I know you already went today but…”, he continued. “It’s fine, I’ll be on my way.”, you ended the call as you freshened yourself up before leaving a note on the fridge telling your parents where you were.
You cautiously walked into the grill and you saw Damon waving you over. “How are you?”, he asked. “Fine, what about you?”, you reciprocated after ordering a Diet Coke. “Great.”, he answered. “Do you know what I like about you?”, he questioned as he gazed into your eyes. “I love how quiet you are. It’s so alluring.”, he added with a genuine expression. You smiled at him. “Really?”, you asked. “Yes, why would I make that up?”
“I don’t know, I’m just used to being picked on for how quiet I am, to be honest.”, you stated as you played with your fingers, avoiding his intense eyes. “Don’t feel like that. That’s what makes you… you.”, he said. “I never thought someone like you could be so wise.”, you responded. “Well… I am over a hundred years old so you could say I’ve gained some experience.”, he smirked at you. “Fair enough.”, you simply stated as you proceeded to talk with him for another hour.

Damon and Stefan Salvatore//// In the shallow of Katherine Pierce
Tumblr media
Anonymous request: hi. Can you do where y/n is the twin of Elena but in reality she’s the daughter of katherine and the Salvatores likes her
Warnings:Emotional Distress, Threats of Violence:, Supernatural Themes, Family Dynamics, Romantic Tension and Self-Discovery.
growing up as Elena Gilbert’s twin, sharing every birthday, holiday, and milestone side-by-side. On the surface, you two were inseparable, sharing everything from a room to friends. But there was always something different about you, something unspoken that hovered in the background like a shadow. You couldn’t explain it, yet the feeling never left. It was as though some invisible thread tethered you to a part of yourself no one else could see.
You kept secrets, even from Elena. Small things, at first, hidden moments of intense emotion, instincts that flared up in ways you couldn’t explain. You were tougher, sharper, with a temper that burned quicker and brighter than hers. People noticed, joking that you must’ve inherited some kind of “Gilbert fire,” even if no one in your family was quite like you. Still, you brushed it off, thinking perhaps it was just part of being a twin, of having to share every part of yourself with someone else.
But as you grew older, whispers and rumors seemed to follow you in hushed tones. More than once, you caught adults exchanging glances, your name dropping like a slip of the tongue before they’d clear their throats and change the subject. Sometimes you’d catch a glimpse of someone in the crowd, a stranger with piercing eyes and a smirk that felt oddly familiar, and feel an inexplicable pull, only for them to disappear a moment later.
Then, when you encounter Katherine for the first time, you’re struck by how similar you feel to her. The way she moves, the way she thinks and schemes, it feels like looking in a twisted mirror. The feeling unnerves you, a strange resonance you can’t ignore. She stares at you with a knowing gleam, as if she sees right through you, and it unsettles you in a way nothing else ever has. But why would Katherine Pierce, the infamous vampire, care so much about you?
Unbeknownst to anyone, even Katherine, she had a second child, one that was taken from her while she was still on the run from Klaus Mikaelson, hidden away as a twin to Elena by those who feared her power and lineage. You have her blood, her cunning, and perhaps her destiny. But for now, that truth lies buried deep, waiting to surface in ways that could change everything.
The day Elena brings Damon and Stefan to meet you is quiet and warm, one of those rare moments when Mystic Falls feels almost normal. You don’t have many expectations; after all, you’ve heard enough about them to feel prepared. But the moment you open the door and see them, you’re struck by a strange, inexplicable familiarity.
Damon’s eyes rake over you with a flicker of recognition, a glimmer of something he’s not used to admitting: intrigue, maybe even a kind of awe. You know Damon’s reputation, his devil-may-care attitude, but in this moment, he seems almost taken aback, as if seeing a ghost he’s crossed paths with before. Stefan, though more composed, is no less surprised. He stares at you with that quiet intensity, the kind that feels like he’s searching for something hidden just under the surface.
There’s a heartbeat of silence, an unspoken something filling the air. You meet Damon’s gaze, holding it just a little too long, and a smirk tugs at the corner of his mouth. You have a feeling you’ve just accepted a silent invitation into a game he plays with far too few worthy opponents. And Stefan, with his thoughtful, steady eyes, looks at you like he’s trying to piece together a memory that won’t quite come into focus.
Elena notices the looks. She steps between you and them, the tension sharpening her voice as she blurts out, “Okay, why are you two looking at her like that?”
Damon glances at Stefan with a mischievous glint in his eyes, raising his eyebrows as if to say, Did you notice that too? Stefan, on the other hand, shifts his focus back to Elena, as if deciding on how much to reveal.
“It’s just… strange,” Stefan says finally. “It’s like we’ve met her before.”
Elena rolls her eyes, folding her arms defensively. “You haven’t met her. This is my sister. Not some long-lost friend of yours.”
Damon, never one to back down from a chance to stir the pot, leans casually against the doorframe and smirks. “Relax, Elena. It’s just a bit… eerie. It’s like I’m seeing something familiar, but in a way I can’t put my finger on.” His gaze flickers to you again, that flirtatious gleam in his eye making it clear he’s more than willing to investigate the mystery further.
Your heart skips a beat, a mixture of irritation and intrigue taking hold. You’re used to getting looks, but this, this is different. You match his stare, feeling the subtle weight of his intensity, realizing that whatever unspoken history you may or may not share with him, he seems determined to uncover it.
Elena huffs, moving a step closer to you as if to shield you from whatever games they might be playing. “Well, you don’t need to figure it out. She’s not a part of whatever mess you’re dealing with.”
Damon’s smirk widens, his gaze darting back to you. “Oh, but something tells me she can handle a little mess. Can’t you?”
You give him a small, sly smile, letting him know you’re more than capable of handling whatever he’s thinking. Stefan clears his throat, shooting Damon a warning look, but you can sense that even he’s still trying to decipher the strange familiarity he feels around you.
It’s a strange, charged moment, one that leaves you wondering if this pull between you and the Salvatores is merely a quirk of shared history, or if there’s something deeper, something neither you nor they fully understand. For now, all you know is that you have their attention in a way you hadn’t expected, and part of you can’t help but be drawn into the mystery just as much as they are.
In the dimly lit corner of the Mystic Grill, Elena sat across from Caroline, swirling her drink distractedly as she tried to find the right words. She hadn’t been able to shake the strange, almost protective feeling she’d been harboring since the moment Damon and Stefan first laid eyes on you. There was something in their expressions, something that had nagged at her from the start.
Caroline tilted her head, picking up on Elena’s discomfort. “What’s up? You look like you’ve got something on your mind.”
Elena let out a sigh, glancing around before leaning in. “It’s… it’s Y/N. Or, I guess, more like the way Damon and Stefan act around her.”
Caroline’s eyes widened, intrigued. “Oh? You think they have a thing for her?”
Elena bit her lip, unsure of how to explain. “I don’t know… it’s more complicated than that. Since that first day, the way they looked at her, almost like they’d met her before. Like they recognized something in her that they couldn’t shake.”
Caroline raised an eyebrow, her curiosity piqued. “Do you think it’s because she looks like you? I mean, you two are twins, after all.”
Elena shook her head, looking slightly frustrated. “Maybe… but it feels like more than that. Like they’re seeing something, or someone, they’ve lost. I’m worried they might be seeing Katherine in her.”
Caroline’s expression shifted to one of sympathy. “Elena, they’ve been through so much because of Katherine. But I don’t think they’d just start confusing the two of you. They know she’s your sister.”
Elena’s jaw tightened, her voice dropping to a near whisper. “It’s just… every time they’re around her, there’s this look, this intensity. I know they’re drawn to her, but I don’t want them to think that she’s Katherine. I want them to see her for who she really is.”
Caroline reached across the table, squeezing Elena’s hand reassuringly. “They know who Y/N is. She’s nothing like Katherine, and Damon and Stefan are smart enough to see that. They’re probably just a little… nostalgic, maybe? They’ve spent years haunted by memories of her, and seeing someone who reminds them of you, someone new, yet familiar, could stir up a lot.”
Elena nodded, though the worry in her eyes didn’t fully fade. “I just don’t want them to project their issues with Katherine onto her. Y/N deserves better than that. She’s not part of their past, she’s her own person.”
Caroline gave her a gentle smile, her voice firm. “And they’ll realize that, Elena. Besides, you’re not the only one watching out for her. They both care about you, and I don’t think they’d ever hurt her or use her as some replacement.”
Elena sighed, managing a small smile. “You’re right. I just… I just don’t want her getting caught up in all of this.”
Caroline nodded knowingly. “Trust me, you’re a great sister. And if Damon or Stefan start acting like idiots, we’ll set them straight.”
Elena chuckled, feeling some of the tension ease, knowing that no matter what, she had people looking out for her, and you
The Salvatore brothers returned to their grand, dimly lit boarding house, silence stretching between them. Each was lost in thought, still feeling the lingering effect of their encounter with you. Damon poured himself a glass of bourbon, his eyes distant as he swirled the amber liquid. Stefan, leaning against the doorway, finally broke the silence.
“She’s… she’s not like Elena,” Stefan murmured, almost to himself, though Damon heard every word.
Damon smirked, though his expression was more bitter than amused. “You noticed that too, huh?” He took a long sip, the warmth of the alcohol doing little to soften the twist of unease in his chest. “She’s got Katherine’s eyes, the same fire behind them. Like she knows more than she lets on.”
Stefan nodded, his mind drifting back to the way you’d looked at them, a flicker of recognition sparking in your gaze. It was the same feeling he used to get whenever Katherine looked his way: a sense that he was being seen, truly seen, with a level of intensity that went beyond the surface. The resemblance to Katherine was uncanny, not in looks alone, but in the subtleties of your expressions, the way your smile hinted at secrets neither brother could decipher.
“Did you… did you feel it too, Damon?” Stefan asked cautiously, his voice carrying an almost wistful tone. “Like we’ve met her before?” He knew it sounded absurd, but the connection felt strangely familiar, like your presence filled a void neither of them had realized was there.
Damon leaned back, exhaling sharply. “Yeah, but it’s more than that, Stefan. There’s something about her, like she’s the part of Katherine that got away, the part she kept hidden.” His jaw clenched as he recalled the nights he’d spent unraveling Katherine’s lies, searching for pieces of her that never quite fit together. Now, standing before you had felt like finding one of those missing pieces, resurrecting a part of him he thought had been buried with her.
“She isn’t Katherine,” Stefan reminded him, though the words sounded hollow even to his own ears. The intensity of Damon’s gaze as he spoke wasn’t lost on him. “But… there’s no denying the resemblance. It’s unsettling.”
Damon let out a humorless laugh. “You don’t think I know that? Believe me, I don’t need any reminders of who she isn’t.” He paused, swallowing his emotions. “But seeing her… it’s like being haunted by Katherine all over again.”
They both fell silent, wrestling with feelings neither could entirely pin down. The line between memory and reality was blurring, and neither could deny the strange attraction, the unspoken tension that had hung in the air from the moment they met you. You were Elena’s twin, yes, but something about you stirred in them a feeling both exhilarating and painful, an echo of the past they thought they had left behind.
Stefan finally spoke, his voice softer now. “We can’t let Elena know. She’s already suspicious, and if she finds out we’re… drawn to her sister, it’ll only hurt her. And… she doesn’t need to know that Y/n remind us of Katherine.” He met Damon’s gaze, a silent plea in his eyes.
Damon nodded, the usual cocky glint in his eyes dimmed by a seriousness Stefan rarely saw. “Agreed,” he said, though the words felt like a weight in his chest. “But let’s face it, Stefan. Whatever this is, it’s not going away. Not unless we get to the bottom of who she really is, and why we’re both feeling this way.”
The brothers exchanged a heavy glance, each recognizing the turmoil brewing between them. It was a pull neither wanted to confront, yet ignoring it felt impossible. The question now wasn’t just who you were, but what your arrival would mean for them, and for everything they thought they understood about love, loyalty, and the ghosts that refused to stay buried.
The arrival of the Mikaelsons sends a ripple through Mystic Falls, a new storm on the horizon. You’ve barely stepped out of the boarding house before you see them, all four of them, a striking and intimidating presence. Kol, Elijah, Klaus, and Rebekah stand together like something out of an old painting, a darkly elegant family bound by blood and the centuries that forged them. Their eyes scan the area, searching, and when they spot you, three sets of eyes light up with interest.
Kol is the first to approach, a wicked smile already playing on his lips as he watches you with an unmistakable spark. “Well, aren’t you a sight,” he says smoothly, his eyes drifting over you with an admiration that’s anything but subtle. “And here I thought Mystic Falls had grown boring.”
Elijah is more reserved but no less intrigued. He steps closer, his gaze thoughtful, his head tilted ever so slightly as if he’s studying a rare piece of art. “It’s rare to meet someone who carries themselves with such… poise,” he says, his tone polite yet filled with something deeper. He gives you a small, approving nod, and you can tell he’s the kind of man who’s drawn to people of depth and mystery, and it seems you’ve caught his attention.
Klaus is last to make his move, standing back a bit, his eyes dark and assessing. The way he looks at you is intense, almost possessive, as if he’s already decided that whatever’s drawn his interest here will soon belong to him. “You must be Elena’s twin,” he says with a smirk, his gaze practically pinning you in place. “Though, I must say, I expected something… softer.” His voice drips with challenge, and the gleam in his eye is as predatory as it is fascinated.
Before you can respond, Damon and Stefan appear at your side, their expressions tense. Damon steps forward, slipping an arm around your shoulders with a look of defiance. “Well, well,” he drawls, his voice edged with sarcasm, “look who decided to show up. What, Mystic Falls not deadly enough without you lot?”
Klaus’ smirk widens, and he meets Damon’s challenge head-on. “Relax, Damon. We’re only here to get reacquainted with an old friend.” His gaze flicks back to you, lingering with interest that he doesn’t bother to hide. “One we didn’t know we had.”
Kol chuckles, his eyes still fixed on you as he pointedly ignores Damon and Stefan. “Can’t say I blame them for hovering,” he murmurs, leaning a bit closer to you. “With looks like yours, I’d be protective too.”
Stefan shifts uncomfortably, a flicker of jealousy flashing across his face as he watches Kol get a little too close for comfort. “Maybe you should take a step back,” Stefan suggests, his tone controlled but firm.
Rebekah, who’s been watching the tension build with a smirk, finally speaks up, adding her own fuel to the fire. “Oh, don’t be so touchy,” she teases, glancing between Damon and Stefan with an amused glint in her eye. “It’s not our fault if she prefers better company.”
You can feel Damon’s grip on your shoulder tighten as he glares at the Originals, his jaw clenched as he looks between them. “I don’t think she’s in the market for new friends,” he says, his voice edged with a protectiveness you haven’t heard from him before. He throws a pointed look at Kol, then Klaus, his eyes flashing with warning.
But the Mikaelsons are undeterred, clearly enjoying the reaction they’re getting. Elijah, ever the diplomat, holds up a hand as if to diffuse the tension, though there’s a sly glint in his eye. “Let’s not be hasty,” he says, looking directly at you. “Perhaps she can make her own decisions.”
The moment he says it, you feel their eyes on you, Damon and Stefan on one side, Kol, Elijah, and Klaus on the other. The pull between them is palpable, and you realize with a strange sense of satisfaction that you hold all the cards here.
Damon’s lips curl in irritation, but he doesn’t let go of you, his arm still firmly around your shoulders. “If you think we’re just going to stand by while you try to—”
“To what?” Klaus cuts in smoothly, his voice low and laced with amusement. “Show her a better time? Give her a taste of freedom, perhaps? Because something tells me she might like that.” His gaze never wavers from yours, an unspoken invitation in his eyes.
The tension between the Salvatores and the Mikaelsons is electric, and you can practically feel the jealousy radiating off of Damon and Stefan as the Originals blatantly express their interest in you. Damon leans in, speaking low in your ear, “Don’t let them fool you. They’ll drag you into their twisted little games and spit you out when they’re done.”
But part of you is tempted, intrigued by the promise of something unknown and dangerous. You’ve always been drawn to things that lie outside the lines, and the Mikaelsons, especially Kol and Klaus, seem more than willing to play along. You smile at Damon, giving him a look that says you can handle yourself, and then meet Kol’s gaze with a spark in your eye.
The Originals might have come to town to stir up trouble, but they didn’t expect to find someone who could stir them up just as much. As you hold their gaze, you sense that this is only the beginning of a rivalry that’s bound to get more intense, and you’re more than ready to be in the middle of it.
The following evening, you found yourself at the Salvatore boarding house, standing in the dimly lit parlor with an expression that was equal parts confusion and frustration. After everything you’d witnessed at the gathering, the cold stares, the thinly veiled jealousy, and the sharp tension between the Salvatores and the Mikaelsons, you felt you couldn’t stay silent any longer. You needed answers.
Stefan and Damon stood before you, Damon leaning against the wall with his arms crossed, wearing his usual smirk, though tonight it seemed forced. Stefan was watching you, his brow furrowed, clearly sensing your frustration.
“Okay,” you began, folding your arms. “What was that back there? You two were acting like absolute jerks.”
Damon scoffed, raising an eyebrow at you. “Jerks? Us? I’d say we were just… looking out for you,” he replied, a hint of sarcasm in his voice. He tried to brush it off with a smirk, but you weren’t buying it.
“Looking out for me?” you repeated, voice thick with disbelief. “It didn’t feel like that. It felt like you were trying to scare them off.” You looked between the two of them, your gaze intense. “Why, Damon? Why did you feel the need to interfere?”
Stefan sighed, running a hand through his hair, looking like he wanted to step in and explain, but Damon spoke first.
“You really don’t see it, do you?” Damon replied, his tone sharper than he intended. “The Mikaelsons, they’re not exactly known for their warm and fuzzy reputations. Klaus, Elijah, Kol, they don’t care about anyone but themselves.”
“That’s not your decision to make,” you shot back, frustration growing. “I can handle myself, Damon. I don’t need you two stepping in like… like some overprotective bodyguards.” You paused, meeting Stefan’s gaze, who looked down as if struggling to put his feelings into words. “What is really going on here? Because this isn’t just about keeping me ‘safe.’ This feels… personal.”
Stefan shifted, glancing at Damon before meeting your eyes. “You’re right,” he admitted softly. “Maybe it is personal. But not in the way you think.”
You waited, crossing your arms, silently urging him to continue.
“Seeing you with them, it brought back memories,” Stefan continued, his voice tight. “Memories of Katherine. The way you looked at them… it reminded us of things we thought we’d buried.”
“Katherine,” you murmured, the name feeling strange on your tongue. The infamous vampire you’d heard countless stories about, the one who had left a mark on everyone in Mystic Falls, including the Salvatore brothers. “You think I’m like her?”
Damon’s gaze softened slightly, the cocky veneer slipping as he studied you. “It’s not just that you’re like her. It’s that… you remind us of her. There’s this part of you, this fire, this strength, and the Originals, they’re drawn to it. Just like they were to her.” He clenched his jaw, as if the words were a bitter pill he was struggling to swallow. “And maybe we don’t want to see that happen again.”
The weight of his confession settled over you, and you looked between them, realizing the depth of what they were saying. It wasn’t just jealousy, it was fear, an old wound reopening, and they were terrified of losing someone else to the same darkness that had once pulled them both in.
You exhaled, trying to find the right words. “Damon, Stefan… I’m not Katherine. I get that she hurt you both in ways I can’t even imagine. But that doesn’t mean I’m her.” Your voice softened as you continued, “And the Mikaelsons, yes, they’re different, maybe even dangerous, but that’s my choice to make. Not yours.”
Stefan’s expression softened, a trace of regret appearing in his eyes. “We know that. It’s just… difficult. Seeing you with them, it brought up feelings we didn’t realize we still had. It’s not an excuse, but it’s the truth.”
You took a step closer, searching their faces. “Then be honest with me. Is that all this is, some unresolved ghost of Katherine? Or is there something else?”
Damon’s jaw clenched, and he looked away, clearly wrestling with something he couldn’t bring himself to say. But Stefan, his voice low and filled with honesty, spoke up.
“It’s more than that,” he admitted, his gaze steady. “It’s about you. You’re not just Elena’s twin to us, or some reminder of the past. You’ve… become important to us in a way we didn’t expect. And maybe that’s why seeing you with them was so hard.” He took a deep breath, his eyes full of unspoken words. “Because we care about you, more than we probably should.”
Damon shifted, his usual bravado fading as he finally met your gaze. “He’s right,” he said quietly, a rare sincerity in his voice. “Look, I don’t do this whole ‘feelings’ thing, but… yeah, you matter. And maybe that scares me more than I’d like to admit.”
The confession hung in the air, heavy and electric, and for a moment, you didn’t know what to say. The fierce protectiveness, the jealousy, the vulnerability, they had all been signs, masked behind layers of bravado and denial.
After a moment, you took a deep breath, your gaze softening as you looked at them. “I understand now. And maybe… maybe I feel something too,” you admitted, your voice barely a whisper. “But that doesn’t mean you can protect me from everything. I need to be able to make my own choices, even if they involve the Mikaelsons.”
Damon sighed, a faint smile tugging at his lips. “Alright, we get it. We’ll back off… a little. But don’t expect us to stay quiet if those Originals start playing games.”
Stefan nodded, giving you a small smile. “We trust you. And we’ll be here, no matter what you decide.”
With that, an unspoken understanding settled between you, a recognition of the complex feelings swirling between you all. And as you left that night, you knew that whatever lay ahead, with the Salvatore brothers, the Mikaelsons, or the ghosts of the past, you wouldn’t be facing it alone.
After the heated conversation, the atmosphere in the boarding house has softened slightly. The tension between you and the Salvatores seems to have loosened its grip, and they’re no longer brimming with protective anger. Instead, Damon is leaning against the wall, arms crossed, studying you with his usual half-smirk, while Stefan is seated on the couch, still watching you with that cautious yet gentle look. They might still be worried, but you’ve made your point clear, and for now, that’s enough.
You take a deep breath, realizing that maybe this is the perfect time to lighten the mood and remind them, and yourself, that life doesn’t have to be all danger and drama. A glint of excitement shines in your eyes as you turn to face them both.
“So,” you start, a playful smile spreading across your face. “Speaking of needing you two… I have a favor to ask.”
Damon raises an eyebrow, looking at you curiously. “A favor, huh? Haven’t we done enough heroic, life-saving duties for the day?”
“Oh, relax, Damon,” you say with a laugh. “I’m not asking you to save my life or anything.” You pause, glancing at Stefan, who’s watching you with a small, intrigued smile. “I wanted to ask if you’d go to prom with me.”
Both of them look momentarily stunned. Prom probably isn’t something they’d expected you to bring up, especially not in the middle of this entire Mikaelson drama. But as the surprise fades, you can see a hint of something else in their expressions, something warm, something that speaks of a life they’ve nearly forgotten.
Damon recovers first, his smirk growing into a full-blown grin. “Prom, huh? I haven’t been to one of those in… well, let’s just say it’s been a while. Are you really asking us?”
You roll your eyes, fighting back a smile as you cross your arms. “Yes, you two. I mean, technically, it’s supposed to be a date thing, but seeing as I’m not exactly swimming in options that don’t involve ancient, overly charming Originals, I figured I’d bring my two favorite guys along.” You give them a playful nudge. “Come on, are you in?”
Stefan chuckles, leaning back on the couch with an expression that’s somewhere between nostalgia and amusement. “I never pictured myself going to another prom, but… if you’re asking, how could I say no?” There’s something soft in his tone, a sincerity that warms you. He’s been through so much darkness that the thought of a simple, carefree night must sound almost like a distant dream.
Damon, however, seems less sentimental and more intrigued. He steps closer, eyeing you with that familiar glint of mischief. “So, let me get this straight. You want both of us to be your dates to prom? You realize that’s going to turn a few heads, don’t you?”
You laugh, nodding. “Oh, I’m counting on it. I mean, if I’m going to prom, I may as well go all out. And besides…” You hesitate, a flicker of honesty slipping through. “After everything that’s been going on, I kind of just want one normal night. And I couldn’t think of two people I’d rather spend it with.”
For a moment, the lighthearted tone shifts, and there’s a silence that feels like understanding, like they realize what you’re really asking. It’s not just a night at prom, it’s a chance to escape the weight of the supernatural world, to remember what it’s like to feel young and carefree.
Stefan’s expression softens, and he gives you a gentle smile. “Then we’re in. We’ll make it a night to remember.”
Damon chuckles, but there’s a glimmer of something real in his eyes as he nods in agreement. “Fine, we’re in. But if we’re doing this, we’re doing it right.” He gives you a sly smile. “I’ll make sure to get us a limo, maybe even some flowers. A real prom experience.”
You raise an eyebrow, grinning. “Flowers, Damon? Are you actually saying you’ll go all out?”
“Hey,” he protests, feigning offense, “if I’m going to be one of your dates, I’ve got to bring my A-game. Besides,” he adds with a smirk, “I think I might enjoy this whole ‘normal life’ thing for a change. Plus, it’ll be fun to watch everyone’s reaction when you show up with not one, but two dates.”
You can’t help but laugh, already picturing the scandalized looks, the whispers. It’s a tempting thought, but more than that, you feel a warmth growing in your chest at the idea of a night with Damon and Stefan by your side, where, just for a few hours, you could all forget the supernatural chaos.
Stefan’s expression shifts as he stands, his tone quieter but full of genuine excitement. “It’s a good idea, Y/N. After everything, I think we all need this.”
“Agreed,” Damon says, his usual sarcasm replaced by something softer. “So, prom it is. I hope you’re ready to be the center of attention because something tells me this night’s going to make a splash.”
You nod, feeling a surge of excitement. For the first time in a long while, you feel a flicker of that simple thrill, that feeling of looking forward to something without any hidden dangers or secrets lurking around the corner. The thought of going to prom with the Salvatores, of having an evening where you can just be, it’s exactly what you need.
“Then it’s a date,” you say with a grin, looking between Damon and Stefan.
Damon raises his glass in a mock toast, his smirk widening. “To prom. And to making everyone at Mystic Falls High question exactly how you managed to score two dates.”
Stefan laughs, clinking his glass against Damon’s, a relaxed smile on his face as he glances at you. “And here’s to you, Y/N. For knowing how to keep us on our toes.”
Your heart warmed at the sincerity in his words. For a moment, the weight of Mystic Falls, the dangers, the past, the uncertainties, melted away. This felt real, uncomplicated by secrets and rivalries. Just you and the two people who, despite the chaos, had come to mean so much.
When the night of prom arrived, you felt an excited nervousness settle in as you stood in front of the mirror, smoothing the elegant gown you’d chosen. It was a deep, rich color, one that brought out the warmth in your eyes and made you feel almost like a character from an old romance novel. As you looked at your reflection, you could hardly believe that tonight was finally here, that you were about to share a moment like this with Damon and Stefan.
In the hours leading up to prom, the Salvatore boarding house buzzed with an energy usually reserved for battles, not ballroom dances. But tonight was different. Tonight, Damon and Stefan were putting in effort that went far beyond the usual suit-and-tie routine. They were getting ready for prom with you, a night that had come to mean far more than either of them initially realized.
Damon stood in front of the mirror, his tailored black suit fitting him perfectly. He smoothed his lapel, inspecting himself with a critical eye, his usual cocky grin absent as he actually considered his appearance. The suit had been specially selected for the night, a sleek, modern cut that hugged his frame just right, exuding a devil-may-care charm that was so quintessentially Damon.
“Looking a bit serious there, aren’t we?” Stefan’s voice came from across the room. He was meticulously brushing his hair, his suit equally tailored to perfection, a classic, timeless look that spoke to his sense of elegance and quiet confidence.
Damon smirked, brushing his hand over his jacket. “Can’t help it, little brother. Tonight’s a big night.” His voice carried a hint of excitement masked under his usual sarcasm, though Stefan wasn’t fooled.
“Big night, or big ego?” Stefan countered with a grin, adjusting his cufflinks. His suit was a deep charcoal black, accentuating his calm, refined aura. He’d chosen it specifically to match your dress after overhearing you mention the color once. Stefan ran a hand through his hair one last time, making sure each strand was in place.
“Say what you will,” Damon replied, ignoring the jab as he spritzed some cologne on his wrist, dabbing it against his neck. “But I’m just making sure I’m at my best tonight. We have competition.” He shot a look at Stefan in the mirror, referencing the lingering threat of the Mikaelsons, who had made their interest in you known a little too clearly for the Salvatore brothers’ liking.
Stefan rolled his eyes, his tone turning more serious. “Right, because a few sprays of cologne are going to keep the Originals away.” He tightened his tie with a practiced ease, still watching Damon with a bemused expression.
But Damon was already unscrewing the cap of his cologne again, this time going in for another spritz… and then another. “I’m just being thorough,” he shrugged, giving himself a liberal amount, until the scent filled the entire room in a thick, woodsy cloud.
Stefan coughed, waving a hand to clear the air. “Thorough? Damon, you’re basically choking the room at this point,” he complained, though his tone was amused. “Do you actually want her to smell anything else tonight?”
Damon shrugged, unbothered, his smirk widening. “What? She likes it. And it’s not like I’m risking smelling like Old Spice and regret like some people.” He shot Stefan a teasing look.
Stefan gave an exasperated sigh, but his eyes held a glint of humor. “Alright, alright. Let’s just try to leave her some oxygen to breathe tonight.”
Ignoring his brother’s complaints, Damon checked himself out in the mirror one last time, his gaze slightly softer as he thought about seeing you. “She deserves a proper prom night,” he murmured, more to himself than to Stefan. For a second, a look of genuine anticipation flickered in his eyes, something vulnerable and uncharacteristic, a glimpse of his softer side. “One she’ll remember.”
Stefan watched him for a moment, his own expression softening. “Agreed.”
The truth was, neither of them would admit it, but they were both nervous. The idea of a regular night where they could just enjoy your company, no threats, no looming dangers, was something they both hadn’t realized they craved until now. They wanted this night to be special for you, and, perhaps secretly, for themselves, too.
Stefan brushed his hair one last time, giving his reflection a final, approving nod. Damon adjusted his collar, straightening the lapel and flashing one last, self-assured grin in the mirror.
“Shall we?” Damon gestured toward the stairs, but as they both walked toward the door, Stefan couldn’t help but stop, catching a whiff of Damon’s overwhelming cologne. He raised an eyebrow, giving Damon a smirk.
“If she faints tonight, it won’t be from excitement,” he said dryly.
Damon laughed, waving him off. “Oh, please. She’ll love it. Besides, no one will be able to ignore my charm when I walk into that room.”
A knock at the door pulled you from your thoughts, and you opened it to find the Salvatore brothers standing there, both dressed in sharp, tailored suits. They looked every bit the part of classic gentlemen, yet each in their own way. Stefan with his calm, reassuring smile and Damon with his roguish smirk, his gaze lingering on you with open admiration.
“You look… incredible,” Stefan said softly, his eyes alight with warmth as he took in your appearance.
Damon stepped forward, his eyes glinting with his usual mischief, but there was a sincerity there that made your heart skip. “Well, princess, if I’d known you’d clean up this well, I would’ve asked you out sooner.”
You rolled your eyes, unable to suppress your smile. “Thank you. You both look… well, let’s just say the tuxes suit you.”
As they each offered you an arm, you slipped yours through theirs, feeling a thrill of excitement as you walked out of your house with the two of them by your side. Arriving at the prom with both Stefan and Damon drew some curious glances, whispers trailing behind you. But you ignored it all, your focus on the magic of the night and the two people who’d made it feel so special.
As the night went on, the three of you laughed, danced, and shared stories, the usual weight of Mystic Falls lifted, if only for a few hours. You found yourself captivated by Damon’s sharp wit, his playful remarks making you laugh more than you had in ages, while Stefan’s gentle kindness made you feel safe, his quiet strength grounding you in a way that felt natural and right.
When a slow song began, Damon gave Stefan a quick nod and took your hand, leading you to the dance floor. He wrapped his arm around your waist, pulling you close, his intense blue eyes locking onto yours as the two of you swayed in rhythm. For a moment, the world shrank to just the two of you, and you could feel the connection between you, a pull, a shared understanding, deeper than either of you could deny.
After the song ended, Damon reluctantly stepped back, giving Stefan a turn. Stefan’s touch was soft, his hand resting gently on your back as he guided you through the next song. There was a gentleness in his gaze, a tenderness that made you feel seen, truly seen, in a way you hadn’t before. As he held you, his eyes never left yours, and you could sense that he, too, felt something he couldn’t quite put into words.
When the music finally stopped, the three of you lingered on the dance floor, sharing a quiet, meaningful moment. Damon’s smirk softened as he glanced between you and Stefan, a flicker of genuine contentment in his expression.
“I’ll admit it,” he said, his voice a low murmur. “This was a pretty good idea.”
Stefan chuckled, nodding. “Agreed. I’m glad you asked us.”
You smiled, feeling an overwhelming sense of happiness as you looked between the two of them. “Thank you… for making this night unforgettable.”
And as the three of you stood there, bathed in the glow of the twinkling lights, you knew that this was more than just a prom night. It was a memory, a rare and precious moment of peace and joy in a world filled with shadows. Whatever the future held, you knew this night would always be a reminder of the bond you shared, and the feelings that had quietly taken root between you and the Salvatores, feelings that promised to grow, even amid the turmoil of Mystic Falls.
The music at the Mystic Falls High gym is loud, pulsing with a beat that reverberates through the room, blending with the cheerful shouts and laughter of the students on the dance floor. The air is filled with the scents of perfume, cologne, and the faint aroma of punch. Damon and Stefan stand at the edge of the room, keeping a watchful eye on you as you move through the crowd in your elegant dress, the color complimenting your skin and the lights reflecting in your eyes. For the first time in what feels like forever, you’re smiling, carefree, sharing a moment with friends, soaking in the thrill of the night.
You glanced around, your instincts screaming that something was wrong. A figure in the shadows near the entrance caught your eye, his silhouette tall and ominous. Mikael. You knew the stories, heard the tales of his ruthless pursuit of the Originals, but he had never set his sights on you, until now.
Before Damon or Stefan could notice, you slipped quietly out the side door, hoping that maybe you could lure him away from the prom, away from everyone you cared about. But as soon as you stepped outside, you could feel Mikael’s presence, looming and heavy, like a predator stalking its prey. You took a deep breath, moving quickly down the empty school hallway, hearing the faintest echo of his footsteps behind you.
The announcement for prom royalty echoes over the speakers, and the crowd’s cheers swell as your name is called. “And this year’s prom Queen is… Y/N Gilbert!” The room erupts into applause, and heads turn, waiting for you to step forward.
But you don’t move. Damon’s playful smirk drops as he scans the crowd, his brows knitting in concern when he doesn’t see you. Stefan is quick to follow suit, his eyes darting around the gym, searching for any sign of you.
“Where did she go?” Damon mutters, the hint of worry creeping into his tone as he starts to push through the crowd, Stefan close behind.
“She was right here a minute ago,” Stefan’s brow furrowed, his eyes darting through the crowd
Damon didn’t wait another second. He pulled out his phone, ready to call you, when suddenly, it buzzed in his hand. Your name flashed on the screen, and he immediately pressed the answer button.
“Y/N? Where are you?” Damon’s voice was edged with worry.
Your breath came out in ragged gasps as you whispered into the phone, “Damon… Mikael is here. He’s… he’s chasing me. I had to leave the prom—I didn’t want him hurting anyone else.”
The weight of your words hung heavy, and Stefan’s eyes widened as he picked up on the conversation. He moved closer, trying to listen, his face contorted with worry and determination.
“Where are you?” Damon’s tone sharpened, the protective side of him igniting at the mention of Mikael’s name.
“I… I think I’m near the science wing. I’m trying to stay ahead of him, but he’s… fast.”
Stefan took the phone from Damon, his voice calm but urgent as he spoke. “Stay where you are, Y/N. We’re coming to get you. Don’t try to face him alone.”
You swallowed hard, glancing over your shoulder as Mikael’s silhouette emerged at the end of the hallway, his cold eyes locked onto you. “I’ll try. Just… hurry.”
With that, you ended the call, your heart pounding as you backed up, searching for an escape route. But Mikael’s predatory gaze never left you, his every step deliberate as he stalked toward you.
Damon and Stefan didn’t waste a second. They pushed through the crowd, ignoring the curious glances as they headed for the exit. Damon’s jaw was clenched, his eyes blazing with determination. “If he lays a hand on her…”
Stefan placed a steadying hand on Damon’s shoulder, his own face grim. “We’ll get to her first.”
They moved quickly through the dimly lit corridors, following the faint sound of your heartbeat, a skill both brothers had perfected over the years. The closer they got, the louder your heartbeat became, each rapid thump a painful reminder of the danger you were facing.
Meanwhile, you darted around the corner, your breathing shallow as you tried to stay quiet. But Mikael was relentless, his pace unwavering as he followed the trail of your scent. Every door you passed, every hallway you ducked into, seemed to only draw him closer.
“Do you really think you can outrun me?” Mikael’s voice echoed down the corridor, cold and taunting. “You may look like her, but you are not Katherine. You’re weaker, more… vulnerable.”
His words sent a shiver down your spine, and you clutched your phone tightly, hoping that Damon and Stefan were close. You could feel your strength waning, the adrenaline beginning to fade as the reality of your situation set in. But you knew you couldn’t let him see your fear.
You turned to face him, standing tall despite the tremor in your hands. “I’m not afraid of you, Mikael.”
He chuckled darkly, his eyes gleaming with amusement. “Brave words for someone so… fragile. I’ve taken down creatures far stronger than you.”
Damon and Stefan moved swiftly through the winding corridors of Mystic Falls High, their steps purposeful and their expressions set with determination. You were out there, facing Mikael alone, and every second counted. Nothing mattered more than reaching you. Their thoughts were focused solely on getting to you before Mikael had a chance to harm you.
But as they turned a corner in the empty hallway, they came face-to-face with none other than Klaus, Elijah, and Kol. The Mikaelson brothers stood there, blocking their path, each wearing an expression that ranged from mild curiosity to amusement.
“Where are you two rushing off to in such a hurry?” Klaus asked, his voice light but laced with intrigue. “Don’t tell me there’s trouble brewing at the Mystic Falls High prom.”
Damon shot him a dark look, jaw clenched. “We don’t have time for this, Klaus. Get out of our way.”
Kol smirked, stepping closer, his eyes gleaming with mischief. “What’s the urgency, boys? You seem… tense. Care to share?”
Stefan cast a quick glance down the hall, clearly itching to move past them. “This isn’t any of your business. We need to go.”
But Elijah, with his usual composed demeanor, raised an eyebrow. “If this concerns Mystic Falls and involves my father, I’d say it is our business. What’s going on?”
Damon’s patience snapped. “Mikael’s after Y/N. She’s out there, alone, and we’re not wasting another second talking about it.”
Klaus’s smile faded instantly, replaced by a look of concern, and something else that flickered briefly in his eyes, something dark and protective. He exchanged a quick glance with his brothers, and for once, the usual rivalry between the Salvatores and the Mikaelsons seemed to fade.
“If Mikael’s after Y/N,” Klaus said, his voice low and dangerous, “then you’ll need all the help you can get. She’s valuable to us, too.”
Damon sneered, clearly unconvinced by the sudden show of camaraderie. “Right, because you care so much. Spare us the act, Klaus.”
But Elijah stepped forward, his gaze earnest. “This isn’t an act. Mikael’s vendetta is reckless and cruel, and if Y/N’s caught in his crossfire, it affects us all. Let us help.”
For a tense moment, Damon and Stefan stood there, sizing up the Originals. They knew the Mikaelsons had their own motives, but this wasn’t the time to argue. You were in danger, and any delay only gave Mikael more time to close in on you.
Finally, Stefan gave a quick nod. “Fine. But stay out of our way.”
Without waiting for a response, Damon and Stefan turned and resumed their sprint, and the Mikaelsons followed, their footsteps falling in sync as they raced through the school, united in a rare truce for the sake of protecting you.
As they approached the science wing, Damon’s ears picked up on a faint, familiar heartbeat, yours. It was rapid, but strong, and it propelled him forward even faster. When they rounded the corner, they spotted you at the end of the hall, trapped between Mikael and a row of lockers, his looming figure casting a shadow over you.
In an instant, the Salvatores and the Mikaelsons moved as one. Damon and Stefan surged forward, drawing Mikael’s attention away from you, while Elijah and Klaus moved to your side, each taking a protective stance in front of you.
Mikael turned, his expression twisting with disdain as he faced the five men now blocking his path. “Well, isn’t this a touching little reunion,” he sneered. “The Salvatore brothers and my wayward children, all coming together for a mortalgirl.”
Damon’s eyes blazed, his voice a deadly growl. “Call her that again, and you’ll regret it.”
Klaus smirked, a glint of satisfaction in his gaze as he added, “You always did underestimate the people we care about, Father. But tonight, you’re going to regret it.”
Mikael’s face darkened, but before he could respond, Kol lunged forward with supernatural speed, striking the first blow. The others followed suit, surrounding Mikael in a whirlwind of force, each blow fierce and unyielding. Damon and Stefan fought side by side with the Mikaelsons, their combined strength holding Mikael at bay, pushing him back with every strike.
Meanwhile, Elijah turned to you, his voice gentle despite the chaos. “Are you hurt?”
You shook your head, still catching your breath. “No… but thank you.”
He nodded, a reassuring hand on your shoulder. “Stay behind us. We won’t let him near you again.”
Klaus threw a look over his shoulder, his voice laced with unexpected concern. “Get her out of here, Elijah. We’ll handle this.”
But you stepped forward, determination flaring in your eyes. “I’m not leaving any of you to face him alone. He came here for me, and I won’t run.”
Damon, catching the exchange, shot you a quick look, his expression both exasperated and protective. “Stubborn as ever, aren’t you?” he muttered, though there was a hint of admiration in his voice.
Finally, with one final, powerful blow from Klaus, Mikael staggered back, his eyes blazing with anger. He took a moment to assess the line of his enemies, his gaze moving from the Salvatores to the Mikaelsons, before he gave a cold, bitter laugh.
“You think this is over?” he sneered, locking eyes with each of you. “This girl is a weakness, a liability. She’ll be the end of you all.”
With that, Mikael disappeared into the shadows, his promise lingering ominously in the air.
As silence fell, Damon turned to you, his shoulders relaxing as he took in the sight of you, safe and unharmed. He moved toward you, placing a reassuring hand on your shoulder. “Next time, don’t run off without us. Got it?”
You managed a shaky smile. “Got it.”
Stefan gave you a gentle smile, brushing a strand of hair from your face. “We’re glad you’re okay.”
Klaus watched the exchange, his expression thoughtful, though he quickly masked it with his usual cool demeanor. “Looks like we’re all a bit protective, aren’t we?”
Damon glanced at Klaus, the usual animosity softened, if only for the moment. “This doesn’t mean we’re friends, Klaus. But… thanks.”
Klaus smirked, giving a nod. “Trust me, Salvatore, it’s a one-time alliance. But you’re welcome.”
With that, the Mikaelsons turned, disappearing down the hall, leaving you and the Salvatores in a rare, quiet moment. Stefan pulled you close, and Damon wrapped his arm around you, a silent promise of protection.
As you walked out of the school, flanked by the Salvatores, you felt a sense of gratitude and belonging. No matter what threats loomed, you knew you weren’t alone, and with Damon and Stefan by your side, you could face anything.
The night was finally quiet as you stood in the empty school parking lot with Damon and Stefan by your side, each of them visibly relieved that you were safe. After everything that had happened, you felt an overwhelming wave of gratitude and affection for them, and without a second thought, you pulled both of them into a warm, thankful hug.
Damon’s arms wrapped around you first, holding you protectively, while Stefan smiled softly, his hand resting gently on your shoulder. For a moment, everything felt right, a rare moment of peace in Mystic Falls. But just as you closed your eyes, letting the safety of their embrace sink in, a voice cut through the silence, sending a chill down your spine.
As you walked out of the school with Damon and Stefan on either side, a sense of calm finally settled over you. The night had been intense, terrifying even, but you had made it through with them by your side. Their presence grounded you, and the silent comfort they offered was all you needed. You came to a stop, turning to face both of them, and a small smile spread across your face.
“Thank you,” you whispered, wrapping your arms around both of them in a warm embrace. It was a moment you had needed, to feel safe, supported, and understood. Damon rested his chin on your head, his usual smirk replaced by a rare, soft expression, while Stefan’s arms wrapped protectively around you.
But the moment was short-lived.
A familiar voice, smooth and taunting, cut through the quiet, sending a chill down your spine. “Well, isn’t this touching?”
You froze, your heart thudding as you slowly turned to see Katherine Pierce standing a few feet away, her lips curled into a smug smile as she took in the scene before her.
Damon and Stefan’s relaxed postures vanished instantly. They stepped in front of you, shielding you from Katherine as their gazes hardened. Damon crossed his arms, his tone sharp and suspicious. “Katherine. What are you doing back in town?”
Stefan’s eyes narrowed, his stance protective. “Last I heard, you had no reason to be here.”
Katherine ignored them, her eyes locking onto you with a look that was both intense and unnervingly affectionate. She took a step closer, her gaze appraising. “I came back for my daughter,” she said, her voice smooth but carrying a weight of finality. “And I’m not leaving without her.”
Your breath caught in your throat, her words settling heavily as the truth began to dawn on you. Daughter. The word echoed in your mind, sharp and disorienting. You glanced between Damon and Stefan, your shock mirrored in their expressions as they exchanged a stunned look.
Damon was the first to break the silence, his voice thick with disbelief and anger. “Wait. Your daughter? Since when do you have a daughter?”
Katherine’s smirk only deepened. “Oh, come now, Damon. Did you think my life began and ended with you two? There’s so much you don’t know.”
You took a shaky step forward, your eyes never leaving Katherine’s. “What… are you talking about?”
Katherine’s gaze softened, though there was a glint of something almost predatory in her eyes as she looked at you. “You’re my blood, Y/N. My own flesh and blood. You may have thought Elena was your only family, but there’s more to the story than anyone told you.”
Stefan’s voice was cold, his protective side flaring as he stepped closer to you. “If this is some twisted game, Katherine, it ends now. She’s been through enough tonight.”
Katherine held her hands up in mock innocence, a hint of amusement in her gaze. “Oh, don’t worry, Stefan. I don’t intend to hurt her. Quite the opposite, in fact. I want her to come with me, to leave this dull little town behind and be a part of something bigger.”
Damon’s eyes narrowed, a mix of anger and suspicion clouding his expression. “After everything you’ve put us through, you expect us to just hand her over to you?”
Katherine let out a low chuckle. “I don’t expect anything from you, Damon. But Y/N deserves to know the truth. She deserves to know who she really is.”
Your heart pounded as you stared at Katherine, every instinct telling you to be wary, yet something in her gaze drew you in. There was a strange familiarity in her face, a resemblance you had always ignored, but now couldn’t deny. The way her eyes sparkled, the way her smirk mirrored your own… it was like seeing pieces of yourself in someone else.
But confusion and hurt welled up within you, and you shook your head, taking a step back. “Why now? Why would you show up now, after all these years, and claim to be my mother?”
Katherine’s expression softened, but there was still a calculating edge to her gaze. “Because, my dear, I’ve kept my distance to protect you. But things have changed.“
Damon clenched his fists, stepping between you and Katherine once more, his voice filled with a dark warning. “If you think we’ll let you just waltz in and drag her into your mess, you’re delusional. She’s not going anywhere with you.”
Stefan’s eyes darkened, his protective instincts kicking in as he placed a steadying hand on your shoulder. “She has a life here, Katherine. Friends, people who care about her. You can’t just claim her like a prize and expect her to follow you.”
Katherine arched an eyebrow, her tone sharp. “Oh, but I can. Because I am her mother, and I’ve done everything in my power to keep her hidden from the dangers that haunt my life. Unlike you, I’m willing to do whatever it takes to keep her safe.”
You swallowed hard, emotions swirling inside you, fear, anger, disbelief, and something you couldn’t quite place. A strange curiosity that tugged at the edges of your mind. You looked at Damon and Stefan, their faces set with determination, a silent promise that they wouldn’t let Katherine take you without a fight. But part of you couldn’t help but wonder if there was truth to Katherine’s words.
“What if… what if she’s telling the truth?” you whispered, barely able to get the words out.
Stefan looked down at you, his expression softening as he saw the confusion in your eyes. “Y/N, whatever she’s saying, you don’t have to go with her. You don’t owe her anything.”
Damon’s gaze flickered with a protective intensity as he nodded in agreement. “She’s lied more times than I can count. She’s only ever looked out for herself.”
But Katherine’s voice broke through, filled with conviction. “You may not trust me, but you can’t deny the truth of who you are. Y/N, you’re stronger than you know, and I’m the only one who can help you tap into that power. I can teach you things these two never could.”
The offer hung in the air, and Katherine’s gaze never wavered as she held her hand out to you, an invitation and a challenge. “Come with me, Y/N. Let me show you what you’re truly capable of.”
You stared at her outstretched hand, a part of you tempted by the mystery she promised to reveal. But as you glanced at Damon and Stefan, standing resolutely by your side, their loyalty and love a constant reminder of the life you had built here, you felt torn.
With a shaky breath, you looked Katherine in the eye, your voice steadier than you felt. “Maybe you are my mother. Maybe there’s a part of me that wants to know more… but I’m not going anywhere with you. I belong here, with people who care about me.”
Damon placed a comforting hand on your shoulder, his voice full of quiet pride. “She made her choice, Katherine. And it’s not you.”
Katherine’s face hardened, her gaze flicking between the three of you. “Fine,” she spat, her voice laced with venom. “But don’t think this is over. You may feel safe now, but one day, you’ll need me. And when that day comes, don’t expect the same kindness I’m offering now.”
With a final, piercing look, Katherine spun on her heel, disappearing into the shadows, leaving a cold silence in her wake.
You stood there, your mind still racing, and Stefan wrapped his arm around you, his warmth a balm against the lingering chill Katherine left behind. “You don’t have to face this alone, Y/N,” he murmured. “We’re here. Always.”
Damon gave you a reassuring smile, his arm slinging protectively around your shoulders. “And if Katherine comes back? She’ll have to go through us first.”
As the Salvatores led you into your house, you could barely hold back the flood of emotions that threatened to overwhelm you. The events of the night, the encounter with Mikael, the terrifying chase, and Katherine’s bombshell revelation, had left you feeling raw and exposed. Damon kept a gentle hand on your back as you walked through the door, while Stefan lingered beside you, offering silent support.
Once inside, you caught a glimpse of Elena waiting in the living room. She rose to her feet the moment she saw you, concern etched across her face, but you couldn’t bring yourself to look at her. Without a word, you brushed past her, tears gathering in your eyes as you hurried up the stairs. You heard her call your name, but you just couldn’t deal with her questions or confusion right now. All you wanted was a moment alone to process the whirlwind of emotions tearing through you.
Elena’s face fell as she watched you disappear upstairs, her brow furrowing in confusion. She turned her gaze toward Damon and Stefan, who remained in the entryway, both of them looking grim and exhausted. She crossed her arms, an angry spark flaring in her eyes. “Alright,” she demanded, her voice sharp. “What happened? Why is my sister—no, my twin—crying?”
Damon sighed heavily, running a hand through his hair, clearly in no mood for another confrontation. “Elena, it’s been a long night. Maybe we can talk about this in the morning.”
But Elena wasn’t having it. She planted herself firmly in front of them, blocking their path as her gaze darted between the two brothers. “No. I want answers. You two were supposed to protect her, and now she’s up there crying her heart out! What did you do?”
Stefan’s jaw tightened, his usual calm demeanor wavering as he glanced up the stairs, clearly worried about you. He looked back at Elena, his tone soft but steady. “It wasn’t us, Elena. Katherine showed up tonight.”
Elena blinked, taken aback, and for a moment, her angry expression faltered. “Katherine?” She let out an exasperated sigh. “What does she have to do with any of this?”
Damon’s eyes darkened, his expression guarded. “She’s the reason Y/N was crying. Katherine… she told her something. Something that none of us saw coming.”
Elena rolled her eyes, clearly unimpressed. “What, that she has some new plan to ruin our lives? Or that she’s out to hurt us all again?” She crossed her arms tighter, an edge of skepticism in her voice.
Stefan took a step closer, his expression serious. “No, Elena. She told Y/N that she’s her mother.”
Elena’s mouth dropped open, and then she let out a short, incredulous laugh. “What? You can’t be serious. That’s just… Katherine being Katherine. She’s playing one of her twisted games, and you two actually believe her?”
Damon crossed his arms, his gaze steady. “We don’t know for sure, but it hit Y/N hard. Katherine told her she came back specifically because Mikael was after her, and that the only reason she stayed away this long was to protect her.”
Elena scoffed, rolling her eyes again. “And you actually think that’s true? Katherine only looks out for herself. She’s lied to all of us more times than I can count. This is just another manipulation tactic to get under Y/N’s skin, and clearly, it worked.”
Stefan looked at her, a flicker of frustration in his usually composed expression. “It’s not that simple, Elena. Katherine seemed… different. She was cold, but there was something else in her eyes when she looked at Y/N. Something real. And Y/N feels it too, even if she doesn’t know what to make of it.”
Elena’s eyes blazed with anger as she shook her head, disbelief twisting her features. “So, let me get this straight. Katherine shows up, spins some ridiculous story about being Y/N’s mother, and you two just… believe her? She’s doing this to mess with her head, to make her doubt herself, and you’re playing right into it.”
Damon’s face hardened, his voice dropping to a dangerous calm. “Elena, believe what you want, but you didn’t see the way Y/N reacted. She’s not just upset, she’s questioning everything about her life right now. Katherine got to her in a way none of us expected, and if there’s even a chance that she’s telling the truth, then Y/N has the right to know.”
Elena let out a frustrated noise, pacing back and forth. “She has a family, me, and she’s letting Katherine, of all people, get inside her head. It’s exactly what Katherine wants! You two were supposed to protect her from people like her, not indulge in her twisted mind games.”
Stefan’s patience seemed to wear thin as he stepped closer to Elena, his tone firm. “We’re trying to protect her, Elena. But this isn’t just some lie we can brush off. For Y/N, this is about her identity. Whether it’s true or not, she deserves the space to figure it out without us dismissing her feelings.”
Elena’s expression hardened, and she shot them both an accusatory glare. “So, what, you’re just going to let Katherine manipulate her, twist her around until she doesn’t know who she is? I thought you cared about her.”
Damon’s eyes flared with anger, his voice sharp. “We do care, Elena. That’s why we’re letting her make her own choices. She’s strong, stronger than you’re giving her credit for. This isn’t about controlling her; it’s about giving her the support she needs.”
Elena scoffed, disbelief still evident in her tone. “Right. Support. By letting Katherine just walk into her life and saying that My twin is her daughter.”
Stefan shook his head, his voice calm but unyielding. “Elena, if you want to help, then be there for her when she’s ready to talk. She needs her family right now, and that includes you. But we can’t ignore the possibility that there’s more to her story than we know.”
Elena opened her mouth to protest, but before she could say anything, a quiet sound drifted down from the stairs, a muffled sob, barely audible but enough to pierce through the tense silence in the room.
All three of them paused, their gazes turning toward the stairs. The anger in Elena’s expression softened, replaced by a flicker of worry as she listened to the sound of your crying. A moment passed, and she let out a long breath, her shoulders slumping slightly as she seemed to grapple with her frustration and concern.
Damon glanced at her, his tone softening. “She’s up there, questioning everything she thought she knew. We’re not asking you to believe Katherine, we’re just asking you to be there for her, to understand what she’s going through.”
Elena looked at him, her expression conflicted, but finally nodded, her voice barely above a whisper. “Fine. I’ll… try. But I don’t trust Katherine, and neither should any of you.”
Stefan gave her a small, reassuring nod. “None of us trust her, Elena. But right now, Y/N needs us to support her. We’ll deal with Katherine later.”
With a final, wary look, Elena relented, letting the tension slip from her posture. Damon and Stefan exchanged a relieved glance, and with a quiet sigh, they moved toward the stairs to check on you, hoping that when the time came, all of you could face the truth together, whatever it turned out to be.

"Eli- I don't know," you whispered as his large hands gripped your waist tightly, keeping you underneath him. He was so big and broad that when he held you, there was no way you could squirm out from under him, even if you wanted to.
"What's wrong?" his warm breath fanned across the nape of your neck, eliciting goosebumps in their wake. He slowly pulled off the delicate bra you had put on that morning, exposing you completely for him. He loved it when you were bare underneath him; all shy and submissive.
You gave him a nervous look, all wide eyed and fidgety. "My-" you cut yourself off and your cheeks blushed in a fiery red blush. He took your hand and gave it a squeeze, encouraging you to speak. He knew how hard it was to sometimes get a sentence out. You were so shy and sweet, new to the whole submission thing. But Elijah, the softie that he was, loved to shower you with so much attention and care. So he kissed along your collarbone and rubbed along your sides, making you giggle shyly.
"It's okay, princess," his voice cooed along your sensitive skin, the pet name doing wonders in giving you an extra bit of encouragement. "I just wanna know what you're worried about."
You pushed down the urge to bury your face in his neck to avoid the topic completely and spoke up a little more confidently. "Your um... you're really..." you sighed in mild frustration at how bad you were at this whole talking thing. The fact that his intense eyes were watching your every move didn't help you either. But, with a soft, warm hand placed at your thigh, he helped ground you again, calming your mind enough to actually talk.
"You're just... so big... a-and I-" his eyes widened at what you were implying. This would definitely be fun.
"Is my love worried I'll be too much for you?" he questioned as his fingers grazed against your wet panties. "Hmm? My fingers are a lot thicker than yours, baby."
You whined as his fingertips rubbed back and forth so gently along the material. It wasn't nearly enough friction to get you off. "Yeah," your chest rose and fell with uneven breaths. "You're the biggest I've ever had."
He leaned closer, his fingers moving the flimsy material aside. "Are you afraid I'll be too rough? Or hurt you?" His voice was so low and hot against you that the small vibrations of his deep voice were enough to make you arch against him. But Elijah kept your back against the bed, trapping you so you wouldn't wiggle too much.
"Just a little," you confessed. You're never had rough, really kinky sex. So it was a pretty big jump.
"If it gets too much, just say stop." His smile was warm and kind, giving you all of the comfort in the world. It's not like you didn't trust him completely and fully, you were just nervous about having his entire cock in your tiny little pussy.
You gave him a timid little nod, urging him to keep going. Your chest felt light and fluttery, and the dull throb in between your legs was getting stronger.
"I'm going to take my time, just for you," he peppered warm, soft kisses along your tummy, stopping at the waistband of the thin, silky thong you decided to wear just for the occasion. "No rush whatsoever. This is all for you and no one else.”
He slowly stripped your bottoms off until there was nothing left to take off. Then he pulled back and stood up, you reached out towards him but he only smiled reassuringly.
"Be right back, keep your legs open," his demand was quiet but very effective as you obediently spread them apart so he could have a full view of what belongs to him and only him.
Once he left his bedroom, you began to relax once more, trusting Elijah to take care of you. He wouldn't dare leave you unsatisfied; and if something got too much, he would know, even when he was giving you commands.
You laid still, wondering what was taking him so long until your head picked up once more at the sound of the door opening and closing. Your teeth sunk into your bottom lip when his form reappeared, holding something in his right hand.
A bowl of ice.
"Eli?"
"Yes, angel?"
His endearing nickname made your chest tighten with so much warmth. It also brought another kind of heat to the space right in between your thighs.
"Ice?"
Elijah kneeled, one hand caressing your right thigh as the other grabbed a cube and began to slowly roll it along your navel, eliciting shivers to travel across your back at the cold sensation. He simply smiled and continued to let the freezing cube trace along your stomach, enjoying every movement that made you squeak and twitch.
He put it back in the bowl and slowly pulled off his tie, looking as breathtakingly attractive as ever. You knew what this meant and you immediately put your wrists above your head, grinning up at this beautiful man you were so lucky to call yours.
Once he had tied your wrists and made sure they weren't too tight and you weren't uncomfortable at all, his thumb brushed along your lower lip. His touch was warm and careful, the way you liked it the best.
"Look at you," he sounded absolutely entranced by you; eyes gazing all over your form. The bed dipped a bit under his weight as he rested over you once more, his body casting a shadow that almost covered all the light. "So gorgeous... so amazing," his praises filled your head with pure honey, turning everything warm and lovely.
"Keep your eyes closed," he pressed an ice cube along your breasts, leaving a burning trail behind it. You whimpered and shuddered as the cold made goosebumps rise on your body and caused your nipples to pucker into little, sensitive buds. It was quickly warmed by his mouth, but the sensation still shocked you, causing a rush of pleasure to flood between your thighs.
The ice was melting with all of the body heat. Droplets of melted water rolled down along your sides and soaked into the blankets beneath your naked body. More water dripped right down the center of your neck, his lips trailing after it and slowly lapped at your skin. His lips were warm, soothing the sharp sting from the frozen cube.
You struggled in your restraints, the sensations a little overwhelming and just- so damn good. You had never been teased and played with like this before, it made you feel a sort of freedom that you had no idea you were missing. You wanted him so badly that it made your legs tremble. And the fact that your eyes were closed just heightened everything else. You could feel him smiling against your skin, loving how responsive your body was to his touches.
The hand not holding the melting piece of ice traced along your right side, skimming down the curves of your body until it reached your lower stomach. Making you squirm a little at how ticklish your lower stomach was.
The ice cube rested above the apex of your thighs, the water dripping down your pussy lips until it touched along the entrance of your slit.
"Eli," you whispered, trying to keep your eyes closed just like he asked you to. It was so tempting to open them, to see him looming over you while using the freezing ice cube against your burning and needy body. "Please... stop teasing.."
He seemed satisfied at the desperation lacing your sweet voice, chucking the ice back into the bowl so he could move on to the next phase.
"Look at me," the deepness of his voice snapped your eyes open and you could hardly breathe at the raw desire swirling in his dark eyes. They looked absolutely glazed over with want, yet still maintaining their sharp edges.
"Eyes on me the entire time," he whispered, his middle finger eased into you, not stopping until he was completely buried in your heat. You pulled on your restraints, wanting to wrap your arms around his shoulders but he tied them well, just how he likes them.
He chuckled at your struggle, moving his fingers agonizingly slow in and out of you. "Something tells me that if I untied your wrists right now," he continued to pump them in and out, watching intently at how you couldn't stop your tiny cries from escaping. It was clear that he was driving you crazy, you couldn't hide the trembles or the tugs at his restraints. "You would reach down and start touching yourself... would you like that?"
Your face turned so hot it made you feel dizzy. Your legs bent up, feet planted on the mattress, he didn't like that, forcefully spreading them wider apart, his eyes stern. "Would you?"
"Y- yes-"
"Hmmm?"
"Yes... daddy," the last part was said just above a whisper, your words coming out a bit fast and shyly. It made you so embarrassed how much the name excited you. It didn't help that it fit Elijah so well, he was always taking care of everyone else that it made sense for you to give him the title.
He reached up and untied your restraints, eyes intently watching as you reached right in between your thighs. "Good girl... keep those legs open,"
You rubbed your clit slowly, your eyes locked on his the entire time. Your fingers moved quicker as your hips ground in little circles, desperate for some sort of relief. He hummed in approval, adding a second finger that stretched you wonderfully.
"Such a dirty little princess aren't you?" his palm curled upwards against that spongy spot inside you as he spoke, causing you to shake so hard you almost forgot his question.
His eyebrows arched, mirroring your expressions as your eyes went unfocused. You tried to form coherent words but it was hard when the only thoughts going through your mind was how damn good his fingers felt, so much bigger than your own.
"Answer my question,"
You swallowed past the lump in your throat and shook your head. "I'm only dirty when it comes to you,"
Your heart almost swelled right out of your chest at the blissful smile he gave, he leaned down and kissed all along your cheek and neck, whispering just how proud of you he was. His words pushed you a little bit over the edge, making your walls clench desperately around him, not wanting the pleasure to fade away.
"That's it, cum on my fingers," he growled against the shell of your ear, biting softly.
His voice was so primal that you couldn't do anything but obey, falling completely into his world while the heat in your tummy erupted like a bomb, pleasure tearing through your muscles, and you saw bursts of white across your eyelids.
"That's it," he cooed as you continued to moan, his fingers gently working you down from the high. "There's my sweet girl,"
His lips met yours and you immediately pulled him closer, his body blanketing you comfortably as he kissed you like a starving man. His hands gripped your waist, holding you still while his hips rubbed his hard bulge right against your wet slit. You whined into his mouth, feeling his erection slide back and forth, rubbing against your clit.
He pushed your thighs a little wider, pulling his lips away from yours so he could lean over you. His forehead rested against yours, both of you trying to catch your breaths. He continued to grind against you, his eyes closing and jaw clenching as he groaned, his sounds deep and rough. You could tell he was holding himself back, trying to be as gentle as possible, but you were so turned on, you just wanted him to unleash himself on you.
"Daddy," your small hands tugged on his hair, making his hips stutter a little bit. You wrapped your arms around his neck and pulled him closer, lips brushing his ear. "Fuck me."
He growled at your words, the vibrations from his chest traveling through his body. He wasn't the kind of man that needed to be told twice. His hands hooked underneath your knees, pushing them up and out as far as they could go.
"Keep them open," he commanded, pulling back just a little to unbutton his shirt. He slipped it off his shoulders and undid his belt, his eyes never leaving yours. You bit your lip, subconsciously rubbing your thighs together in anticipation.
He raised his eyebrows, giving you a disapproving shake of his head.
You giggled, but did as he said and opened them, keeping them as wide apart as you could.
His eyes softened just a little, his fingertips trailing up and down your soft skin. His other hand undoing his belt, slowly pulling his pants down along with his briefs, letting his thick cock spring out and brush against the smooth skin of your tummy.
"You've been so good," he praised, lining himself up with your entrance. He slowly rubbed his head in a circle along your slit, gathering your wetness.
He kept his eyes locked with yours as his hands slid down, holding your hips steady. You were already starting to feel a little nervous, he was definitely the biggest you've ever had. He eased in slowly, his breath hitching as he felt just how tight you were.
Your heels dug into the sheets, your hands scrambling for something to hold on to. Your body instinctively tried to pull away but he held you down, keeping you firmly in place. He pushed deeper, groaning lowly at the feeling of you surrounding him.
"Daddy-" your voice cracked, your legs closing automatically, the sensation almost too much for you to take. But Elijah held you tightly in place, leaning down so he could whisper into your ear.
"Relax," he kissed right underneath the shell of your ear. His soft lips felt good against your heated skin. "Don't fight it."
Your toes curled and your fingers clenched, but you managed to take a few deep breaths. Once he was completely sheathed, you felt so full it was a little hard to breathe.
"So damn tight," he groaned, his grip on your thighs bruising, his eyes locked on the sight of your stomach bulging slightly with the girth of his cock.
"You fit me so perfectly, baby girl," his hand running over the bulge, his words making you blush so deeply. "It's like you were made for me,"
His hips pulled back before snapping forward again, making you cry out and dig your hands into his strong shoulders. His pace was slow and deep, letting you feel every inch of him, the stretch of his cock was addicting.
His hands ran all over your body, caressing your sides, kneading your breasts, tracing along the column of your neck, just touching and exploring every inch of you. You barely registered these touches, so distracted by the pleasure between your legs.
"God- you're so big," you panted out, your voice barely louder than a whisper.
"You like it don't you? Being split open by me?"
His hand wrapped around your throat, not choking, just applying enough pressure to make your head spin.
You swallowed against his hand, finding it hard to even form any sentences at the moment. Your eyes rolled back into your head, your legs spreading as far as they could, wanting to feel him even deeper.
"Say it," his hips snapped harder, making a strangled noise rip from your throat. His grip tightened a bit more, causing everything to feel even sharper.
"I love it Elijah," you whimpered, your eyes rolling back. "Fuck-"
Your body felt like it was floating, his hands the only thing grounding you. He could tell you were close, your little body shaking underneath him and your whimpers getting louder and higher in pitch. You were such a vision. So beautiful. But he didn't want this to end so quickly, not when he had waited so long to have you like this.
"Cumming already?" his hips slowed, making you groan and claw at his forearms. You could tell he was close to, the restraint in his tone was a dead giveaway.
You shook your head, clearly lying, and his expression hardened a little. His hips were torturously slow, his fingers tracing along the side of your neck.
"Liars get punished," his thumb and forefinger pinched your chin, his eyes dark and intense. "Do you understand?"
His hips stilled and he pulled out, his hardness laying heavily against your lower stomach.
"Y- yes," you stuttered, your entire body buzzing with the need for release. Your pussy felt so empty, clenching around nothing.
He stood, pulling his pants back up, making sure to not be too obvious about the large bulge pressing against the front of his pants.
"Up." he held out his hand, waiting patiently for you to gather the strength to move.
The moment you sat up he grabbed your hair, yanking you up until you were standing. You stumbled forward, he pulled your face to his, his breath ghosting across your lips.
"On your knees,"
You didn't even hesitate to sink down, his hand guiding you to where he wanted. The hardwood floor was a little uncomfortable, but the way Elijah was looking at you, it made everything worth it.
You opened your mouth, your tongue lolling out, just waiting for him. He smiled, running his thumb along your lower lip.
"That's a good girl," he murmured, his voice rough and deep, filled with pure lust. His cock was shiny with your slick, a small drop of precum leaking from the tip. You couldn't help but lick it off, tasting yourself on him. He groaned, his grip tightening a bit.
"Open wide,"
You did as he said, looking up at him with innocent eyes, the sight made him growl, his cock twitching right in front of your lips. You smiled and opened your mouth, his hands resting on top of your head as his hips jerked forward, sliding into your mouth.
You loved when he fucked your mouth, feeling him lose control like this, it was so sexy. Your eyes were watering, a tear falling down your cheek as he hit the back of your throat. He wiped it away, still the gentleman even in the most carnal of moments.
You relaxed your jaw and bobbed your head, trying to fit as much of his thick length as possible, but failing a bit, gagging slightly. He groaned loudly and pulled you off of him by your hair, the sting making your head swim with need.
"You can do better than that," his tone was playful and teasing, making you blush deeply. He was so big, his girth was almost intimidating, you could hardly fit him in your mouth. But his tone made you try harder, opening wider and swallowing down, the taste of him making your thighs clench together.
His grip was bruising, holding you in place while his hips rocked back and forth, using your mouth and throat for his own pleasure.
His eyes were hooded and his breathing was uneven, but he was still composed. That's what you admired about him, no matter the situation, he was always calm and in control.
He was Elijah Mikaelson after all, and you were just a little human, yet you held so much power over him. It was thrilling. You wanted to see how far you could push him, to see just how deep his possessive side really ran. Just a tiny bit. You wanted to see what it would take to make him crumble.
"What a perfect princess you are,"
Your eyes snapped back to him and you smiled a little, the corners of your mouth turning upwards around his cock. Your tongue pressed flat against the underside, your head starting to move a little faster, taking him a little deeper each time.
You were being so good, doing everything he asked, and it was turning him on to no end. You could tell from the way his jaw was clenching and the little noises coming from the back of his throat. The way his eyes couldn't look away from your lips, his hand holding you in place.
He was starting to get a little rough, his hips rocking in and out, making your eyes water again. He groaned as his cock slid to the back of your throat, his other hand joining the one already tangled in your hair, both holding you still as he thrust deeper. Your tongue flattened against his shaft and he started to fuck your mouth with earnest.
His grip on your hair turned painful and your nose was pressed into his dark curls. Your eyes began to water as you gagged, the head of his cock buried deep in the back of your throat.
He didn't let you pull off until he felt you really struggling, letting you catch your breath before pushing you down again. He was a little rougher, his hips giving short and hard thrusts.
"You're doing so well," he sounded a bit wrecked, his breathing uneven and his voice deeper. His hips were moving a little faster, chasing his own high.
"Just like that,"
You moaned around him, his hips starting to shake a little, and that's when you decided to act, you wanted to make him cum.
You reached behind him, grabbing his ass to pull him impossibly close, taking him to the back of your throat the final few times. The sudden action startled him a little and his self control slipped. Your name was choked out from deep in his chest. The sound sent a hot spike straight to your core, the primal desperation in his tone made your heart race.
The noise went straight through him, his self control shattering like glass, his grip tightening around your skull. You couldn't breathe, couldn't pull away, so you took him down as deep as you could, feeling his release shoot straight down your throat.
His body was shaking, his chest rising and falling rapidly, his breathing was uneven, but it didn't last long. He looked down at you with a stern expression.
"Did I say you could do that?"
He grabbed your chin, forcing you to look up at him, his thumb brushing against your lips. "No... I didn't."
You couldn't help the smile that crept up, his eyes were practically black with lust. He was surely going to punish you now.
"On the bed." he growled.
You didn't waste any time, hopping onto the plush comforter, kneeling in the middle and waiting for his next command.
He grabbed his belt from the floor, slowly walking towards the bed, his eyes locked on yours.
"Turn around and bend over,"
He watched intently, his belt folded over in his hands.
Your cheeks flushed as you moved to get on all fours, arching your back a little, swaying your hips a bit, showing off your curves.
You glanced over your shoulder, making sure he was watching, and the sight made you whimper. His eyes were hooded and his bottom lip was caught between his teeth, the belt was held tightly in his fist, a little vein protruding from his hand.
"Eyes front." he snapped, the sound of the leather sliding against itself made your heart race.
The anticipation was almost too much. You had never done this before, had no idea how it would feel, but you were aching to find out.
"How many do you think you deserve?" his hand ran along the curve of your spine, his touch light and warm, making you shiver.
"F-four?" you questioned, your voice was soft and hesitant, you could practically hear him smile.
"I'll give you eight, and you're going to count each one."
His hand smoothed over your backside, squeezing and rubbing softly. You could feel his cock resting on the curve of your ass, heavy and thick, already half hard again.
He raised his arm, the belt folded in his hand. The anticipation was killing you. You could barely breathe.
His hand caressed the swell of your ass one last time before raising the belt, a sharp crack rang throughout the room. You cried out, your body jerking forward, the pain seared right across the soft skin.
"Count." He snapped, his tone sharp and impatient.
"O-one."
Another hit.
"Two,"
A third.
"Three."
By the fourth hit, you were shaking, gripping the sheets to keep yourself grounded, but his next hit almost knocked you over.
"Four!" you squeaked out, your voice cracking as tears stung the corners of your eyes.
"I'm not even using my full strength," he sounded amused, his tone gentle and soft. His full strength would probably send you flying into the next room and you giggled at the thought.
"Don't laugh." he scolded, the belt slapping down on your skin, the sting even sharper.
"F-five!"
Another hard hit and you were whimpering, but you still tried to be as good as possible.
"S-six."
You could feel yourself growing wetter, the pain was so sharp, so searing, it almost felt like it was turning into pleasure.
"Seven!" you cried, burying your face in the sheets, the pain was starting to blur.
The belt came down one last time, leaving a dark red line right across the backs of your thighs.
"Eight," you sobbed, your entire body shaking.
"You did so well." He cooed, his fingers running along the welts, soothing the ache. "I knew you would."
You were trembling, his fingers dipping between your legs, gathering the slick that had collected on the inside of your thighs.
"So wet." he sounded amused. "You like being my little slut, don't you?"
You whimpered, unable to answer. His finger was circling your clit, sending hot sparks through your veins.
"Tell me," his hand landed on your ass again, the sting even sharper. "Tell me you like being my little slut."
You gasped, your body writhing. "Y-yes daddy, I love being your little slut,"
He chuckled, his other hand running along the curve of your spine, his fingers tangling in your hair again, pulling you towards him so your back was arched.
"That's what I thought," he let go of your hair and turned you around, scooping you up into his arms.
You gasped and wrapped your arms around his neck, a little surprised by the sudden change. Your legs wrapped around his waist, his hands gripping your ass tightly, his lips pressing against the soft skin of your neck.
You could feel his hardness pressing into you, and your legs clenched around his hips. You could feel every muscle shifting underneath his skin, his strength and power was thrilling. He was one of the most powerful creatures in the world and here he was, holding you so gently.
You kissed him softly, running your fingers through his dark hair, his stubble scratching against your skin. He lowered you down onto his cock, your nails digging into his shoulders, letting him swallow up your gasps and moans.
His pace was slow and deep, savoring the moment, letting you feel every inch. His strong hands supported you, making sure you didn't fall, lifting you up and down his length.
You were a mess. Whimpering and clinging to him, so desperate for release. He was using you just how he wanted, holding you tight and fucking you hard. You were both so close, so on edge, his pace started to falter and his breath was becoming more uneven.
"Eli," you gasped, burying your head in the crook of his neck, your hands in his hair, his arms tight around your waist.
He pressed you back down into the bed, his hands intertwining with yours, pinning them above your head. His hips snapped forward, and his pace became brutal, pounding into you hard and fast, his eyes never leaving yours.
Your legs shook around his hips, you couldn't stop the whimpers and cries from pouring out of you. His forehead was pressed against yours, his eyes closed and his brow furrowed.
Your back arched off the bed, your legs trembling uncontrollably. Your orgasm came crashing down, making you cry out, your pussy gushing and clenching so tightly  that it pushed his cock out. He groaned at the sight, spilling his release all over your pussy and stomach, watching in awe as your walls clenched around nothing, soaking the sheets.
Your body went limp, your eyes fluttering closed, your breathing labored and uneven. You were exhausted, sore and spent.
He leaned down and kissed you, so sweet and gentle, his hands cupping your cheeks.
"Are you okay? Was I too rough?" he looked a bit worried, his thumb brushing along your cheek.
You giggled and nodded. "I'm fine, more than fine." you leaned into his touch, pressing your lips to his palm. "That was perfect."
"Good," he sighed, a smile spreading across his lips. "You did so well,"
"Thank you,"
"Do you need anything? A drink or-"
"I'm fine Elijah," you cut him off, giggling again. He was so sweet, so considerate. "I promise."
He smiled, leaning down to kiss you again, his hand cupping your jaw. "Let me clean you up,"
"Okay," you whispered, a content sigh escaping your lips. He pulled back, his hand smoothing across your forehead, moving the stray hairs from your face.
"Stay here,"
You nodded and relaxed into the bed, your limbs like jelly, your eyelids starting to droop.
By the time he returned you had fallen asleep, curled up in a ball, snoring softly. He smiled and gently cleaned you off, pulling the blankets over you, watching for a few minutes, admiring the way your chest rose and fell with each breath.
He kissed your forehead softly, "Goodnight princess, you were perfect.”
